Youtube daily report w Nov 13 2017

What's up guys it's Jose Zuniga and today we're gonna make sure that your

fall and winter closet it's at its full potential. Today we're going to cover

eight of the most stylish jackets every man should have in their collection.

Number one is the varsity jacket.

Whether you're an athlete or not every man should have a killer varsity jacket in their collection.

Kind of takes you back to those popular high school days,

and makes you feel like the real sartorial MVP you are.

Usually varsity jackets will feature a cinched cuff, collar, and waist

bands. The mid section tends to be a little bit puffier, kind of like the

bomber jacket, but the biggest difference is that this one has snap button

features, which all varsity jackets do, as opposed to having a zipper.

On top of that this particular one is a full leather lambskin one from a company

called LAC, which I personally like since it's almost more of a high-end

take on this classic cut. Usually though you will see varsity jackets with some

sort of leather combination with an other fabric, such as wool. Second must-have

jacket is the black leather moto or biker jacket. You'll see everyone from

dapper icon David Beckham to Streetwear King Kanye West rocking one of

these. So, it is pretty safe to say it's a pretty damn stylish piece that us

commoners should have in our wardrobe. Now this one is from a new company from

LA also called LAC. One thing that I really like that these guys are doing is

that they use actual jacket sizes such as 48, 50, 46, 44 as opposed to using

your basic fast fashion small, extra small, medium, large. These tend to fit way

better and a more precise fit that in combination with their super supple

lambskin leather, you have a timeless classic piece that looks like you just

dropped two G's on it. It will elevate any look you throw that jacket over.

Number three is a suede jacket. I love this one because it's a little bit more

high-fashion and implements a whole new texture that you can play with in your wardrobe.

Suede is great to mix with other textures especially during fall and winter, to kind of add depth and

creativity to any outfit. This one from LAC, which delivers insane amounts of

quality, like their lambskin leather, crazy durable hardware and a precise

attention to detail that truly puts the shame your basic run-of-the-mill fast fashion leather jacket.

I was actually speaking over with the guys over at LAC,

and I was like "Yo! these jackets are amazing. My viewers are gonna freaking love them,

how cheap can you make them for them?" And you're not gonna believe this.

They're offering you guys $100 off your first order from any of their jackets.

And this is only lasting 7 days, so it is a limited time.

And you have to hurry now. Click the link below and cop one now, at this insane price

point that you'll probably never be able to get. But I get it I tried negotiating

for a longer time what they did tell me is that for those that can buy within

the seven days, they will give you guys a $75 discount, not as good as a hundred,

for one month all the way up to December 11th. So if you guys want to check out any

of the of the amazing jackets from LAC. I'm going to have the company link down

below, like it said it's a brand new company from LA, these guys are killing

it. I've see this brand across various publications, so they're popping right

now. One thing I noticed is that they are running out of stock in certain sizes, so

if you want to pick one up right now is the time to do so especially with that

discount code.

Number four is the denim jacket. A perfect staple piece to own in

any wardrobe, it kind of gives you that Americana vibe, and it's great for guys

that don't get to experience super cold winters. If you want something more

classic than a dark wash it's definitely the way to go. This is the more timeless

approach that'll work great especially with smart outfits ,but if you're younger

a lighter wash with some distressing might be a better option to rock with

more of your streetwear type of style. Either way, it's a great investment.

Number five is the puffed jacket. This is great for guys in really really cold

areas, because it does a great job of insulating heat. But quiet frankly, it's

just a sick piece to own in your collection that looks amazing especially

in a street style rock that with some dark denim and some boots. One of the

best street wear scenarios you can ask for it.

Number six is the bomber jacket.

Now I'm not going to spend too much time here, because, well, you guys know how much

I rave about the bomber jacket already. But hey, it's not my fault it's such a

classic and versatile piece. It's a definite must for any guy.

Number seven is the sports jacket.

No gentleman's closet is complete with that one of these guys.

And the great thing is that here you can have a little bit of fun,

you can get something plaid like I just showed or you can get something more

classic like your basic navy or your charcoal gray.

Point is that the jacket has stood the test of time and outlasted any trend that has come and go.

This is a classic must piece for any gentleman's closet, at least one sport coat.

And finally number eight ,we have the field jacket.

This is the ultimate utilitarian and functional piece of outerwear for men.

Usually comes in some sort of wax cotton or wax canvas to give you added functionality.

They tend to be waterproof add that plus the hundred pockets that it features and it

becomes a very functional piece that you can wear. The cool thing is that most

guys nowadays obviously aren't using it for the field, more so for style so it

gives your style or aesthetic or rugged and almost military vibe to it.

So if you want to diversify your outerwear, get a field jacket.

And that's basically it guys those are the top eight jackets every guy should have in their collection.

If you guys enjoyed this video don't forget to drop us a like down below.

Also don't forget if you liked any of the leather jackets,

I'm going to have them linked below from LAC and also include that $100 discount code.

That's it for me today. See you next time!

Life Perspective | Secrets Netflix Execs Don't Want Us To Know About Orange Is The New Black | P2 - Duration: 10:14.

8.

It's Based On A Real Story.

Probably the worst-kept secret of Orange Is The New Black is that it's based on a real

story.

Those who read the book before the show came out already know this, and the story is loosely

based on the experiences of a woman named Piper who was incarcerated.

It's always stunning and interesting when you're watching a show and you realize that

some of the events you're witnessing actually happened, and this is definitely the case

with Orange Is The New Black.

The accuracy and realism that this show portrays is no accident, because the real Piper was

pretty involved in the show and makes visits to set quite often.

But there are some pretty major differences between what happens in the show and what

the real Piper actually experienced.

For example, prison life is nowhere near this crazy and interesting in real life.

While some of the more bizarre and shocking incidents in the show did actually happen,

they didn't occur on a regular basis.

In the book, one of the main themes is that prison is really, really boring, and that

times moves very slowly.

But of course a show where nothing happens would be really boring, so things were tweaked.

This is something that Netflix execs might not want you to know about.

9.

The Cast Wears Real Prison Underwear While Filming.

One of the funniest episodes in Orange Is The New Black is when the air conditioning

breaks down, and all of the women have to walk around in their underwear.

In this episode, we see that underwear is part of the uniform of a prisoner as well,

just like their iconic orange clothes.

This was the first and only episode where we got to see these prisoners walking around

in their underwear, and it led to some pretty hilarious moments, especially in regards to

the male prison guards, who were clearly a little uncomfortable by this whole debacle.

But while this episode might've been the only time we saw them in their undergarments,

it wasn't the only time the actresses were wearing them.

In fact, the actresses wear genuine prison underwear every single time they walk onto

set.

It's a way for them to get fully into character, and really feel what it's like to be a prisoner

at a women's prison.

10.

Taylor Schilling Got Injured During A Love Scene.

Some of the most shocking moments in Orange Is The New Black are the explicit scenes.

Sometimes these are heteros*xual love scenes between a man and a woman, but there are also

plenty of lesbian love scenes between prison inmates.

This show definitely steps into uncharted territory in this regard, and for the most

part, the show pulls it off with style.

But one of these scenes didn't end go so well, especially for Taylor Schilling.

She revealed in one interview that she actually cut herself on the name tag of her prison

uniform as she was pulling her shirt off.

The name tag somehow sliced her face in a freak accident, leaving a huge gash. Taylor

Schilling admitted, "I hurt myself.

I got very excited, I took my shirt off and I scratched myself with my little name tag.

There was a gash on my face — there was blood."

The gash was so deep that the crew couldn't hide it with makeup, so if you look closely

you can still see the cut in this scene.

11.

Laverne Cox's Twin Brother Played Her In Pre-Transition Flashbacks.

Another character who is integral to Orange Is The New Black is Sophia Burset, a transgender

woman who is trying her best to deal with her prison sentence.

She's one of the most confident, outspoken women in the prison, and she passes the time

by giving the other ladies haircuts.

Her inclusion in the show marks a turning point for trans actresses and actors, who

rarely get this type of exposure on mainstream projects such as Orange Is The New Black.

Her character deals with many issues that trans people deal with on a daily basis, such

as discrimination, loneliness, and alienation.

One of the most interesting parts of this character's journey, and the show in general,

is the series of flashbacks to Sophia Burset's pre-transition self.

Her post-transition character is of course played by Laverne Cox, who was pretty well-known

across social media before landing the role.

But what many people don't know is that her pre-transition self is not actually played

by her.

Her twin brother actually played this role, and many people wrongly thought it was Laverne

Cox.

12.

Taryn Manning Was Thrown In Jail Days Before Getting The Part.

Another key character in the series is Pennsatucky, a dangerous and highly religious inmate who

hates Piper.

The character is portrayed by the very talented Taryn Manning, who has appeared in countless

other projects and is a very well-known actor.

But just days before she landed the part on Orange Is The New Black, she found herself

in jail.

This is a bizarre case of life imitating art, as she would later be playing a character

in a very similar situation.

But it's probably safe to say that this wasn't the way Taryn Manning envisioned

herself "getting into character."

She was arrested for assaulting a former friend.

She made the following statement: "I made a poor, poor choice under stress and, you

know, we do sometimes, as humans, we hit a threshold and we can snap.

I got into a physical altercation with someone I've known a long time.

So stupid.

So that was terrible and I went to jail and I deserved it.

And I'm here to tell the tale and I never want to go through that again."

13.

Natasha Lyonne Was A Real Addict.

Natasha Lyonne is another amazing actress on the show, and she plays the character Nicky

Nichols.

This actress has had one of the longest and most impressive careers out of all the other

talent that appears on Orange Is The New Black, and has experience with countless movie and

television projects.

Her character is one of the most interesting in the prison, and she is clearly someone

who really struggles with all kinds of things.

Despite her inner turmoil, she maintains a very strong, confident exterior, and is usually

the first people to make a witty remark when something goes awry.

But as it turns out, there are actually some pretty amazing similarities between Lyonne

and the character she portrays.

One of the biggest conflicts within this character is her struggle with addiction.

It's clear that her addiction to drugs is something that will one day destroy her, and

she must find a way to get clean.

But Lyonne knows exactly how this feels, because she too has struggled with addiction over

the years.

In one scene, Nicky shows Piper a scar on her belly, which is a result from a bacterial

infection resulting from drug use.

This scar is a real mark on Natasha Lyonne's body, and a relic from her drug-addicted past.

14.

One Of The Writers Left Her Husband For One Of The Actresses.

One of the craziest stories that happened behind the scenes of Orange Is The New Black

involves a writer, and actor, and a romance that seems like it was taken straight out

of the show itself.

Lauren Morelli is a writer for the show, and actually discovered that she was a lesbian

only a few days into the first few episodes.

She admits: "I realized I was gay in fall 2012, one of my first days on the set.

In Piper and Alex, I'd found a mouthpiece for my own desires and a glimmer of what my

future could look like."

Things happened really fast afterwards, and the writer fell in love with Samara Wiley,

who plays the character of Poussey on the show.

She then divorced her husband, and started dating the woman.

This shocked a lot of people, but not too many actually found out about it until much

later.

Her husband took it pretty well, and was understanding about the whole thing.

It seems like Morelli's process of writing the show and watching it being performed was

all part of her inner process of finding her s*xuality, which actually makes the show even

more substantial.

15.

The Real Alex Vause Says The Show Lied.

Catherine Cleary Wolters is the real "Alex Vause."

You can see the resemblance with these two photos, although clearly the glasses are the

defining characteristic.

As the story is mostly told from Piper Kerman's point of view (the real Chapman), we never

really get to hear Wolters' version of the events.

But according to her, the show got a lot of things completely wrong – and now she's

speaking out: "We did not have s*x in prison," said Wolters, "Not even a little bit.

I was not Piper's first, and I certainly did not seduce her.

We weren't girlfriends.

We were friends with benefits…

I was not the older sexy, glamorous lesbian who snatched her from her pristine Smith College

cradle."And what about the court case at the beginning of the show, where Alex Vause

is implied to have spilled the beans on Piper, landing her in jail?

Well, according to Wolters, everyone talked, even Piper: "They had picked the first round

of us up two years prior to Piper's somewhat congenial visit from the feds.

So, yes, I named her, she named me, and we all named each other.

The fact was, we all thought we were doing the right thing, confessing, getting protection,

and saving ourselves from certain death at the hands of a Nigerian drug lord who we knew

would soon find we had all been arrested."

The Real Reason Why This Justice League Actor Looks So Familiar - Duration: 5:24.

While Grant Gustin has given Barry Allen ample life on the small screen, it's Ezra Miller

who's currently zipping around the DC movie universe as The Flash.

You've seen him in Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, and he'll be joining Batman, Wonder

Woman, and Aquaman for some world-saving fun in Justice League.

Before his stint as a comic hero, though, the charming scene-stealer amassed quite an

impressive filmography.

"That feels like an oversimplification."

Chances are, you've seen some of his work in the past, so let's take a look at some

of Ezra Miller's most memorable roles before he became the speedy superhero.

The TV scene

Although he'd done a few other projects before, Ezra Miller made his true small screen debut

in Showtime's second season of Californication, as the complicated love interest of the protagonist's

daughter.

His five-episode arc was brief but memorable thanks to some well-delivered words of wisdom.

"If a beautiful girl is kind enough to kiss you, f--- you kiss her right back."

It wasn't the last time he'd delight TV audiences with a supporting role.

He also appeared on an episode of Law and Order: SVU and then had a recurring role on

Royal Pains as a rich hemophiliac in need of Dr. Hank's MacGyver-style medical techniques.

The maniac

After starring in a few little-seen films like City Island and Beware the Gonzo, Ezra

Miller got his first cinematic breakthrough in 2011's We Need to Talk About Kevin.

Not only was the movie an emotional wrecking ball that won't soon be forgotten, but Miller's

role was especially disturbing.

In the film, he starred as the title character, a sociopathic teenager who commits unthinkable

crimes against his family and, eventually, others as well -- all while disguising his

penchant for sadism with his undeniable charms.

Opposite Tilda Swinton, Miller really brought his A-game to the table and earned a lot of

esteem for his performance in the role.

And despite playing the kind of character no one would ever want to run across in real

life, almost everyone wanted to rub elbows with Ezra Miller after seeing his work in

the movie.

The teen dream

Ezra Miller avoided being typecast as Hollywood's resident weird kid by playing someone completely

different in the cinematic adaptation of Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

His character Patrick is still far from ordinary, but he was the kind of enigmatic spirit that

tends to elevate the mood of a room, rather than sending a chill down everyone's spine.

Although Patrick had plenty of problems of his own, Miller did a fantastic job of imbuing

quick wit and wistful existentialism into the role and standing out, even among his

more established peers.

"Got it, your highness."

The love interest

2014's Madame Bovary wasn't exactly adored by critics or audiences, but it did give Ezra

Miller fans a chance to see him turn on the charms as a young man hoping to win the heroine's

affections.

Described as "the last romantic left in all of France," Miller's character only earns

her attention for a brief spell, but it was still a lot more successful a courtship than

what happened the very next year in a very different movie.

In Amy Schumer's Trainwreck, Ezra Miller also played a romantic interest of the leading

lady, but it was a whole lot less traditional, to say the least.

In the film, he played Schumer's intern, whom she decides to spend the night with, and things

get weird very fast.

After sharing the most awkward kisses ever caught on camera, Donald starts making some

freaky moves, tells Amy his safe word is "pineapple," and then insists she sock him in the face.

But the night comes to an early end when Donald's mom bursts into the room and informs Amy her

kid is only 16.

For what it's worth, Trainwreck also reunited Miller with his We Need to Talk About Kevin

mom, Tilda Swinton, with way less guinea pig violence this time around.

The prisoner

If you've ever opened a psychology textbook, you've probably heard of the Stanford prison

experiment.

The controversial social simulation went terribly awry once the faux guards started taking their

positions way too seriously, and in this 2015 film adaptation of the events, Miller played

a pretend prisoner named Daniel Culp, who unexpectedly endures some true torment while

behind those bars.

While it started out as a joke to those in prison garb ...

"Look at this guy, he thinks he's John Wayne or something."

The situation became dangerous as the students playing the guards began to seriously torture

Culp by making him strip naked, exercise in the middle of the night and endure actual

assaults, all before being shoved into solitary confinement.

To make matters worse, even after the scientist pulled the plug on the exercise, Culp's suffering

was far from over.

Although the film wasn't quite as buzzy as the real-life scenario had been, it took some

real mettle for Miller to tackle the role.

But by then, he'd become a veteran of the drama scene and had no trouble tackling the

tough material.

The squibb

Most of Ezra Miller's silver screen characters have been notably talkative, but his appearance

in the first Harry Potter spin-off pic, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, presented him

as a much quieter kind of young man than fans had been used to seeing.

Miller starred as Credence, the eldest adopted son of an abusive woman on a mission to expose

witchcraft and wizardry as a dangerous segment of society.

At the same time, he was being courted by the head of magical law enforcement to help

find a child with incredible powers who may be in danger.

Although the movie did require him to sport a very unfortunate hairstyle, it also gave

audiences the opportunity to see Miller in an all-new light and make him a franchise

star twice over.

HOW INTENTIONAL DREAMING CAN ASSIST YOUR WAKING LIFE - Duration: 5:45.

HOW INTENTIONAL DREAMING CAN ASSIST YOUR WAKING LIFE

BY ALANNA KETLER

Every single night when we go to sleep, we dream.

Sometimes we remember our dreams and sometimes we dont, yet we have them nevertheless.

But what is the purpose of dreaming, if there is one?

Where do we go when we dream?

Can we control them, and is there insight to be gained from them?

Theres no doubt about it: The world of dreaming is shrouded in mystery.

Some people are able to analyze dreams and interpret the messages being offered, and

many people, myself included, believe dreams hold significant meaning and can offer insights

and guidance even during our waking life.

Ever since I stopped drinking, over a year ago now, Ive had a recurring dream where

I decide to have a drink and then, still within the dream, take things too far and feel all

the emotions that I would feel if this were to actually happen the shame, the guilt,

the embarrassment and then I wake up, overwhelmed with relief to discover it was just a dream.

So, why do I have these dreams?

Are there still lessons I need to learn from these experiences?

Are they serving as a reminder to stay strong and continue on the path of sobriety, or are

they all random imprints and memories in my brain coming together to form a story?

Im inclined to believe the former.

Whether its true or not doesnt really matter, since it still serves as a powerful

reminder to stay strong and continue on my chosen path.

Dont Worry, Honey, It Was Just a Dream.

Did you hear this as a child?

Do you tell this to your own children?

What we may not realize about this statement is that it instills the idea that dreams arent

real or have nothing of value to offer us.

By dismissing dream messages as just dreams, we may be limiting the amount of insight we

can gain from listening to them.

If, as children, we are told to pay attention to our dreams and perhaps to keep a dream

journal, we might learn to decode valuable pieces of information that can assist us in

our lives.

Fortunately, its never too late; this is something anyone can start doing, at any time.

How Can We Use Our Dreams to Our Advantage?

Are we missing out on a whole other dimension in which we can learn, grow, explore, and

play?

Its very possible that, by brushing off our dreams, we are denying ourselves access

to an amazing world of discovery, expansion, and exploration!

Imagine having an extra eight hours during the day in which to explore the deepest depths

of yourself and this existence.

Well, you do, in dream land, but we often take this opportunity for granted.

We can, however, use our dreams to our advantage if we have the intention to do so.

Lucid Dreaming

By now, you may have heard of lucid dreaming a technique whereby you become aware that

youre dreaming while its happening and respond accordingly.

By learning to do this, you can literally control your dreams and create whatever you

like, exploring everything you always wanted to your hearts content.

This is an amazing practice, and if youd like to learn more about it, you can check

out some previous CE articles here.

Intentional Dreaming

Another powerful tool you can use while sleeping is a practice known as intentional dreaming.

This involves setting an intention before going to sleep to find clarity on something

you need help with in your waking life.

You can also use your dreams to further your spiritual growth and progression.

The more aware you are of the power of dreams, the more likely you are to recognize their

messages, no matter how subtle.

The dream may not seem to make sense to you at first, but this is where I stress the importance

of keeping a dream journal, especially if you are looking to gain insight into your

dreams.

Keep a notebook right by your bed, and as soon as you wake up, write down every single

thing you can remember.

It may not be much at first, but youll soon be surprised by how much you can recall.

This is a practice, and, like any other, does take some time to develop.

But, What If I Dont Dream?

This is a common question, but it is important to understand that we always dream, even if

we dont remember it.

This is where intentional dreaming could really come in handy.

You can try listening to a binaural beat before bed to get you into a meditative state and

then setting your intention.

If you still cant remember your dream the next morning, dont sweat it; you are not

broken and nothing is wrong with you!

Your dream messages may show up in more subtle ways.

If you are setting the intention to have more clarity about, say, why your partner doesnt

feel appreciated, you might gain a new understanding while having a discussion and be able to see

a new perspective.

Even if you do not remember your dreams, they still have something to offer you.

Your future depends on your dreams, so go to sleep.

'Dead Ringer' Ep. 5 Clip | Stan Against Evil | Season 2 - Duration: 1:21.

Clearly, it's the same ring, but, that still doesn't explain

why I'm seeing through the eyes of a killer.

You see that woman?

She looks just like my new girlfriend.

You could even say she's a...

dead ringer.

-Mm. -You know, ring?

-Yeah, no, I got it. -[Laughs]

-Where does she live? -I don't know.

But you're already calling her your girlfriend?

See, this is the thing with you. You always rush into stuff.

No. Maybe I just go slow

faster than you do.

So the only other lead we have

is the old woman at the antique store.

I'll drive.

It's one street over.

Oh, dear God. -Activate...action pants!

[Rattling]

Lights and siren.

I'm gonna meet you there.

[Siren wailing, tires screeching]

Yeah, hey, Stan, it's me.

Listen, I think we got a lead on those killings.

I'm not sure where it's gonna go, but,

I think it starts at the antique store,

so, uh, meet us there.

How to Explain Bipolar Disorder to Others - Duration: 3:16.

Hey guys, it's Hannah.

I wanted to do this video outside today, but it is cold and gloomy.

So I'm going to utilize the day to read these two new books I got yesterday.

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath.

The Girl Who Live by Christopher Greyson.

If you have read them, leave your comments below.

Bipolar disorder and support.

How do you explain bipolar to others?

Those around you, friends, family, strangers who ask you really ridiculous random things

about bipolar disorder, ie, me.

How do you explain something so misunderstood in society?

And sometimes to people who don't necessarily want to understand it

because they have such a strong bias already about what mental health means,

what these conditions are.

I mean, I've been in some situations, especially after coming forward.

My favorite is when people will say to me,

"Oh my gosh, you don't look like you have bipolar disorder."

The question that always follows that up is: "What is bipolar disorder?"

How are you going to tell somebody they look like a cat if you don't know what a cat is

and you ain't never seen one before?

Hello...

And I feel like they use me explaining, or any of us with a mental health condition,

what it's like or what it is

as a platform for them to give their opinion

which, usually, isn't very nice,

about what they feel about mental health.

So after awhile of trying to understand this misunderstood condition,

what I have realized is that it's nearly impossible to genuinely and accurately explain it

to people that don't live with a mental health condition.

That don't live with depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia.

Instead I just want people to understand that this is the way I'm built.

I'm different from them.

I embrace it.

I embrace my mind.

And I'm asking that they respect that, even though they may not understand it.

Period.

I want to know what you would do, what you would say, or your experience with this.

Any thoughts you have.

Do a response video or just leave your experience below.

Because, here's the thing.

is that it's my job, it's your job to live with bipolar disorder.

Not stress ourselves out or defend ourselves to explain it to every person we come across.

And definitely not to be used as a platform for them to reveal their negative opinion

about mental health in our society.

Welcome to the world of stigma.

But we're going to fight it together.

So I can't wait to see what you guys write or send in.

And I will see you next week.

Bye.

71° NOSCOPE: Episode 1 - Norges beste gamer? - Duration: 12:49.

In the year 2600 BC, mankind built the pyramids.

In 1789 we were given our first electric lightbulb.

In 1969 we took our first steps on the moon.

And in 1972, though a square and two rectangles, we were introduced to our greatest cultural phenomenon.

Moving images, the written word, music,

competition and technological interaction combined together

to grant us a new, powerful art form.

Video games.

For almost 50 years, games have grown larger and deeper, and we have grown with them.

But who among us is the best?

At an unknown location outside of Oslo, we find a small group of people, filled with anticipation.

- Frida. - Lars, nice to meet you.

- Look, I bet he's with us.

They know nothing about each other, or the trials ahead,

but they're willing to do anyting to become "Norway's Greatest Gamer".

-Look! It's pointing into the woods.

-Welcome to 71 degrees NoScope.

A reality-series for true gamers.

This is your mentor.

You will get to know him very well.

You consider yourselves skilled gamers,

experts at modern competition,

and our most recent form of cultural expression.

Now

you will live in the woods.

When you stepped onto this red cross,

you gave up the right to use all forms of modern technology.

Mobile phones, gaming consoles and watches are strictly forbidden.

Additionally, all food and drinks are banned,

unless aquired in these woods.

You will be competing in vaguely gaming-related tasks

for the title "Norway's Greatest Gamer"

The forest is your friend,

but also your enemy.

The game of the wild has begun.

Good luck.

-Hang on. Wait a second.

Stop. This isn't okay. Hey.

-When I applied for a gaming reality show

I expected us to be sitting around playing games and showing our gaming skills,

but instead we're hanging out in the damn woods?

I've gotten used to living in the city, with everything that entails,

and now I'm supposed to live off berries? And get water from a stream?

I give up.

-I'm not quite in my element to put it that way.

Traumatic experience, actually. I got lost on a school trip in the seventh grade,

and I had to sleep under a bush, and since then I've mostly just been a city guy.

-I've lived a life of established daily routines for a while now,

so having to suddenly live in the woods is not okay.

-This'll be so much fun!

I've spent so much time in the woods, you don't have to worry about a thing!

I've learned all there is to know about acorns, rocks and bark and stuff.

So they told us we'd be living in the woods,

and I was just ecstatic!

It was really the best thing that could've happened.

We can go camping, and I just have so much wisdom I want to share,

about tree sap, fish, basically everything between heaven and earth.

Viper moose.

-If I listen to my heart, I can tell I also kind of hate you, mister camera man.

It'll work out. This will be a learning experience, and exposure therapy is the best kind of therapy.

So it's all good. This'll be exciting.

The people seem nice, so...

-Hello.

Oh, it's you! One sec, let me do it again.

Welcome!

Don't stand out there in the cold, come inside!

I'm Bjørn, 28 years old from Oslo.

I have everyting I want in life. A lady friend and two cats.

-And it cost me extra just because I bought it on the bus.

How silly is that? It's the same ticket, just on the bus.

I used to always be stuck in the office from nine to four.

But now I can finally work from home, which gives me so much more time to spend with my girlfriend.

So now we can watch TV and talk and bake cookies and play games,

we've made candles and gingerbread houses,

Isn't that just the dream? Getting to be together, constantly?

Actually, it's a little bit cracked, but

this is actually the same mask that Jim Carrey wore in that one scene in The Mask,

when he put it on for the first time.

-The only thing, if I have to say something,

I do kind of miss having sort of a

friend.

A buddy, kind of.

So I've signes up for this reality show for true gamers,

and I'm a true gamer,

I even have a gaming chair.

So I'll be meeting some new pals soon enough, I bet.

-Are you sure it's okay for me to leave for so long? -Yes.

-I know a lot of us don't really want to be here, except for you.

But I think for us to get through this, we'll need a strong leader.

-Yeah, good idea.

-And that's me.

So let's start by properly greeting each other.

-Socially, I feel like I already have the upper hand on the competition, the others are a bit...

maybe a bit awkward, kind of...

nervous, so that puts me in a strong position going forward.

I can easily take the lead and take control of this game.

-Yeah, I do have a beef with the wild. There are tiny insects everywhere.

I've already been stung here, I don't know if the camera can pick that up,

and there's just so much physical contact with other people,

and I'm not saying I hate those people, but...

all of this totally blows.

-Hi!

You're Nick, right? Want to come over and say hi to everyone?

-I don't really like it when people touch me, or when people do things in general.

And I don't know, I think I might be allergic to trees.

-Trees? -Yeah.

-Alright. Feel free to come over anytime then.

-Everyone! It's time for the vote!

-Welcome to my place!

Bit messy over there, so I'll just sit like this.

I'm Frida, 23 years old,

I see myself as a skilled and hard-working individual,

probably more intelligent than most people.

I applied for this reality series because I absolutely love to win.

As a gamer, I go all in. I play to win.

There's never a good reason to do things halfheartedly.

-No quitting till Platinum, people. I've been awake for 28 hours, and I'm still in top shape!

-I'm kind, open-minded, positive...

What are you doing? -Just getting the-

-You're not supposed to be here. Out.

-My greatest weakness is probably the fact that I'm such a perfectionist.

And I'm a little bit too good at teamwork, so other people end up feeling like they're worthless

when they see how skilled I am.

-You're doing it wrong, you need more roundabouts.

You can put one here, her, here, and here, and there,

and there,

-I'm approachable and kind,

I get along with post people just fine,

the only things that can get on my nerves are excessive bodily noises and odors

but I don't see much risk of that getting in the way here.

-I told you, I said I could burp and fart at the same time, remember I said that?

North and south!

-Cross draft. -Yeah, a cross draft! Says the sound guy! Great!

That's good.

-I don't really want to vote for anyone, but...

-It's not that I don't want to vote for Bjørn.

-Frida said I had to vote for Bjørn.

-You're too handsome for this show.

-I don't want to vote for anyone, and I bet no one wants to vote for me, so...

a vote for myself!

-The time has come to count the votes, everyone.

The first vote goes to Bjørn.

The second vote is also for Bjørn.

All eight votes actually say Bjørn.

-Isn't that one too many? We're not eight.

-That means you're the one who has to leave us today, Bjørn.

-That's a shame.

But you join a reality show that has voting in it and you get voted out

so I get to follow the rules, and that's nice.

-It was nice to have you along, but unfortunately you'll have to leave the woods now.

With eight out of eight votes, Bjørn is forced to leave the woods.

He waves goodbye to the other contestants and turns to head home,

reflecting on the many experiences he's had on the way.

-Oh, look who it is. -Where are you going, Bjørn?

-I'm heading home. I got voted out.

Eight out of eight votes. I didn't want to vote for anyone, you know.

So many nice people.

The host explains that this isn't one of those reality shows in which contestants are voted out.

-But we all sat there, and I even voted for myself.

Since the voting ceremony was held by the contestants of the game, and not the game itself,

Bjørn gets to return to the others.

-Guess I'll just turn around then. -Congratulations, Bjørn.

-I didn't really mean to be cruel and set up a voting ceremony and stuff,

but I've watched a lot of reality TV, and this sort of thing usually happens at the end of an episode,

so I thought I'd get ahead of the game and take the lead.

Then everyone vodet for Bjørn, and...

I didn't mean to bring out this negativity in the group.

That's bad for team spirit, and not great for me as the leader.

I got a little excited. The urge to win took hold of me.

A shame that happened.

-This is wonderful, I've been given a second chance.

Now I can show them what I'm good for, even more than before!

Good vibes!

People are nice, the woods are nice.

This can only go one way. Up, that is.

-You're not filming this. Stop filming.

8 Jackets Every Man Should Own - Duration: 5:30.

[Premiere] Restless Modern - I'm Okay (Lyric / Lyrics Video) - Duration: 3:40.

📝 Restless Modern - I'm Okay Lyrics

Nine to five Driving home, doing nine to five

Hand over my eyes I'm not real

My adrenaline is all I can ever feel

So what's the point of making friends When they're losing me anyway

Anyway To myself or to my dreams

That keep draining my life away Away

Tell me the truth Every word out of my mouth makes me confused

Don't know who the frick I am or what to do

I'm okay Okay for now (6x)

Throwin' lamps at the walls Doesn't help, but I like it

I can fix this all Just frickin' give me a second

I can't stand I want the walls to stop spinning

In my head There's more end than beginning

Tell me the truth Every word out of my mouth makes me confused

Don't know who the frick I am or what to do

I'm okay Okay for now (2x)

Start fighting obesity tomorrow with this simple, easy step Drink only water with your meals - Duration: 4:42.

Start fighting obesity tomorrow with this simple, easy step Drink only water with your

meals

Losing weight can be an arduous process, yet theres one simple habit that can make it

easier.

Instead of accompanying your meals with shakes and juices, opt for plain water.

This is what helped over 1,200 elementary and middle school students in New York City

shed some unwanted pounds over the course of a five-year pilot program.

The placement of water dispensers in the cafeterias not only led to tripled water intake during

lunchtime, but also helped the students lose small but significant amounts of weight.

The nutrition profile doesnt change much when people increase their plain-water

intake, but we do see a significant drop in their saturated fat and sugar intake, said

University of Illinois kinesiology and community health professor Ruopeng An, who conducted

a cost-benefit analysis of the program.

Though the children consumed less milk, An stated that this wouldnt pose any major

nutritional hazards.

(Related: Dont Become Your Own Worst Enemy During Your Weight Loss Journey.)

While there might potentially be some problems if children consume less whole milk, I would

say those are probably minor in comparison with the costs associated with the skyrocketing

rates of childhood overweight and obesity in the U.S., An explained.

And far from only benefiting children, drinking solely water with your meals is good for adults

too.

An himself performed a previous study on the effects of greater water intake among adults,

and found that there was little evidence of any adverse nutritional side effects,.

Water and weight loss: Whats the connection?

Really though, its not at all that surprising that the students under the program lost weight.

Water has been proven to aid in weight loss efforts in a number of ways, and according

to Healthline.com, these are some of them:

Water can help burn calories Specifically, water can help you burn more calories through

resting energy expenditure, or the rate at which you use up calories when resting.

Adults who drink water can boost their resting energy expenditure by as much as 30 percent,

the effects of which can last at least 60 minutes.

For children, their resting energy expenditure can go up by 25 percent after drinking cold

water.

Speaking of which, cold water can actually do a better job of calorie-burning than warm

water.

This is because cold water encourages your body to use up extra calories to warm the

water to the ideal body temperature.

Water can reduce appetite For older and middle-aged adults at least.

The researchers behind one 2008 study discovered that drinking water before eating breakfast

helped obese and overweight adults reduce their caloric consumption during the meal

by about 13 percent.

And while this effect has not been observed in younger persons, it just means that water

can be utilized as an efficient weight loss measure for when you enter your older years.

Water can decrease caloric intake Water is naturally free of calories, so when you

swap out soda or juice for water, you dont add any calories to your meal.

One other thing to consider: the average person will gain about 3.2 lbs (0.13 kg) every four

years.

Drinking an additional one cup of water a day can reduce this weight gain 0.23 lbs (or

0.13 kg), while substituting a single serving of sugar-sweetened beverages with water can

lower this four-year weight gain by 1.1 lbs (0.5 kg).

To enjoy these amazing health benefits, make it a point follow the recommended intake of

four to eight glasses, or one to two liters, of water a day.

This is a general guideline, however.

You may need more water than other people, or you could be one of those people who can

do with a little less.

Just be sure to drink water whenever you feel thirsty, as ignoring this urge can cause you

to become dehydrated.

Even mild dehydration can cause you to reach for food or experience a headache, neither

of which are good for you.

The same cant be said of water, which is definitely something you should have everyday.

Simon Prior at UKSTAR 2018 | If the Universities Won't Help us, How do we #MakeATester? - Duration: 1:27.

Hi I'm Simon Prior. I'm QA manager at McAfee and I'll be talking at UKSTAR next

year in March. My topic is if universities won't help us how can we

hashtag make a tester the idea behind this presentation is I was invited back

to do a careers talk at my University and when I mentioned that I was in

testing there was a sudden recoil of oh we don't do anything we don't have

topics on our syllabus about testing we don't teach testing which made me do

some research into the other universities and find out what the

picture really was as far as graduates knowing about software testing the

results were quite shocking and it explains why a lot of graduates shy away

from maybe applying for software testing roles though this presentation looks at

the results and also talks about the potential of how we could get ourselves

out into universities or make testing where the awareness of testing greater

it's part of a conversation track with Joel Montvelisky. We'll both be talking

about upskilling testers I'll be mine is more about the Graduate or this straight

out of school students Joel's is more about the more experienced testers so we

look forward to having you there and we'll talk to you more then. Thanks bye

How to Remote Program C-more HMI: Stride SiteLink VPN Cloud - Duration: 4:56.

In this video, we will show the process of getting connected to a C-more HMI through

the Stride Sitelink VPN connection.

If you have not already setup you Router please see the videos for the initial setup, in the

description below.

Once you have setup your router, then continue on to this video.

First, we need to discuss the C-more IP address setup.

In this example, this is IP address of the VPN router on the control side.

To remotely program your C-more HMI it must be on the same subnet as the VPN router and

have the IP address of the Router as it's Default Gateway.

This way the C-more will be communicating through the router.

It is very important that everything is a static IP address, as one limitation of VPN

networks is that Broadcast comms will not work and broadcast comms is what is used for

auto discovery of devices.

Now let's set up the C-more's IP address locally for the first time.

So, with your C-more project open, select setup, Panel Network and then select the Ethernet

Tab.

So, enter in the IP address information we discussed before.

And then select ok.

And send this project to your HMI Now that the HMI PLC has been setup and shipped

to the remote location, let's make our first connection through the Stride Sitelink and

read our project from the panel..

Open up the Sitelink page, select your device and then connect.

Once the IX client is connected, open up the C-more software and then select Read from

Panel.

Select Ethernet and then browse.

Under Network, select the Windows Tapp Adapter.

This is the virtual connection that the IXClient uses to connect to the VPN cloud.

Now, select the Remote Link List and then Add.

Give this connection a name.

Enter in the IP address of the C-more Panel and then typically on remote connection like

this I increase the Timeouts to the max.

Hit Ok.

Now select the link that we just created and select Ok.

Now the software will browse for the Panel and then give you a go no/Go, on the Connection.

Now select to read the project.

Now you can make changes to your project and update the panel.

Let's go one step farther here, and show remotely viewing the the panel with the Remote

access feature.

In the C-more panel, to turn on remote access in your project.

Go to Setup and then Panel Network.

To turn on Remote access there is two parts to this.

We must turn on the Web server and then activate the Remote access.

While we are here if you are emailing alarms, through your HMI, we must allow internet access

with the VPN Router.

This can be found in the dashboard under configuration.

So, under Web server enable this function.

You can also change which port this uses and secure the communication with a password.

I am going to leave it open for the purposes of this video.

Now Select the Remote Access tab.

Since this VPN makes you part of the local network we do not need to add the complexity

of the remote connection.

I am going to leave the permission as View Only and use the default Account name without

a password.

This setup can be more advanced I just want to show the basic features of this connection.

Now select Ok and send this project to your HMI.

Once this is loaded, open up an Internet browser and enter in the IP address of this HMI.

Now select the remote access Link.

And now select the No firewall.

This will download an executable file that you can run on your PC.

So, select the application and not you will be asked to enter in the user name and password.

Select Ok.

And now we can view the panel.

This connection can make Improving, Controlling and monitoring your HMI and control system

much easier.

A little safety disclaimer.

Before you make any changes to your PLC Remotely take into account what you are activating

and deactivating remotely as it may cause an unsafe condition.

It is always best to have local eyes on the equipment while making these changes.

This is where the digital input on the VPN router can be useful, it will allow you to

lock out remote changes until someone is there to monitor to safety purposes

If you have any questions about the Stride VPN router please contact AutomationDirect's

support team during regular business hours.

They will be glad to help.

Parenting Mistakes You Should Avoid At All Costs - Duration: 3:47.

Let's face it — parenting is hard, and mistakes are inevitable.

But some slip-ups have a deeper impact than others.

So, the experts are weighing in on which parenting mistakes are the most important to avoid.

Skipping the discipline

It's crucial to make the time for discipline, even when it's the last thing you want to

do.

Parent-teen relationship coach, Fern Weis, explains what happens when parents skip it

completely, saying,

"This results in children who are running the show, and who are unintentionally given

the kind of control they are not emotionally equipped to handle.

They don't hear 'no' and learn that if they push back hard enough, they will get what

they want."

Being controlling

Barbara E. Harvey, Executive Director of Parents, Teachers and Advocates, Inc, says that when

parents are controlling,

"In the short-term, children may submit and it is easier for the parent.

However the child is not learning to make decisions for themselves...Nor are they building

a sense of learning to trust."

Aricia Shaffer, former therapist and parenting coach, agreed, saying,

"The first mistake is believing you have control over your kids.

If you've ever tried to force kids to hurry, to eat their breakfast, or fall asleep, you're

familiar with this fact, yet some parents choose to try to fight it.

When you fight it, you get frustrated parents and out of control behavior from kids."

Negative labels

One of the worst things you can do is to give your child a negative label.

Jill Whitney, licensed marriage and family therapist, says,

"What parents say becomes their [child's] internal template, the voice they hear inside

their head — often for their whole lives."

Instead of making a negative comment about them as a person, Whitney suggests,

"Focus on the behavior that's the problem, [like] 'It's time to stop playing and get

your homework done'".

"This is far more specific; the child knows what he can do to correct the situation.

This approach indicates that the problem is related to a specific situation, not something

permanent about your child."

Avoiding the talk

"What's that stuff?"

While it may be uncomfortable, it's better to face this one head on.

Whitney says,

"When kids ask…

'How did the baby get in there?', parents may panic and avoid the question."

When this happens, Whitney says,

"[Your child] learns that she can't turn to you when she has those sorts of questions.

Even worse, she may come to feel that there's something wrong with her for even asking.

That creates shame [...] that can last her whole life."

Instead, Whitney recommends answering any questions as they come up - in an age appropriate

way of course.

Not listening

Weis says it's essential to listen to your child with an open mind:

"Creating a trusting relationship begins with truly listening to your child.'"

"When parents only listen to respond (to fix, critique, teach, and solve), their child knows

that he is not truly being heard and will shut down."

"I ask parents to remember that the kind of listening they look for in a friend is just

what their children need from them."

Punishment as discipline

"Disciplining" doesn't necessarily mean "punishing."

Harvey says,

"In this country we have mistakenly equated punishment with discipline.

As a result parents are more focused on looking for and punishing misbehavior rather than

giving children the tools they need to develop self-control."

The focus of discipline should be on helping them regulate their own behavior.

Harvey added,

"Self-control is about learning to recognize the rules and choosing to obey them because

it is the right thing to do."

Show, don't tell

Kids are very perceptive, and they'll know if you're "walking your talk" or not.

Harvey says,

"According to brain development experts, children will retain 85 percent of what they observe

their parents doing and only 15 percent of what they say as they enter adulthood."

This holds true even for very young children.

Harvey says,

"Children are keen observers and spend most of their time not only watching, but also

figuring out what to do and not to do based on what they see."

"In the long-term they may stumble and have a hard time if what they observed is either

detrimental or extremely different than most folks' reality."

Weis' number one piece of advice is,

"Remember what kind of person you want your child to be 15 years from now.

Then ask yourself if what you are about to do or say is contributing to that vision."

"Give your child what he needs, not what feels easier or makes you feel better.

Always keep the vision in mind."
