07 - Estocolmo - O Retorno da Mala e Surpresas no Albergue - As Viagens do Gerson - Duration: 6:34.

Good morning!

My second day in Stockholm and I'm going to the pharmacy,

My nose it's not cool, I get so much cold yesterday.

It all started with the air conditioner,

from the last flight,

London to Stockholm.

It's 8 A.M of a beautiful day!

Bem, tá frio pra mim aqui!

It's cold!!!!

It's like winter in Minas Gerais!

It looks I'm back to my parent's house!!

About weather, of course!

I should have dressed a coat!

It's colder than yesterday!

Do you know why am I using the same clothes?

My suitcase didn't arrived yesterday.

It was founded, they'll give it to me today. Between 9A.M and 1 P.M.

People riding bike using coat...

And I'm with this t-shirt...

"Mom, I'm strong" I'm back from the gym" t-shirt style, lol!

Look who's with me!!!

When I arrived, I stayed 30 minutes next to the mat,

waiting for my suitcase, but it didn't appeared.

I went to right department, filled out a form,

and in the next morning I called them.

It was a question of hours until they send me some sms messages

and call me saying that they founded it,

and they would send it to me at the next day.

I gave them Steff's adress,

and waited for them in the morning. Then it arrived.

Of course a million thoughts appeared in my head:

- The suitcase won't appear!! - I will have problems!!!

But, you know what I did?

I'm in another country,

Steff lent me a pair of clothes,

I'm having a blast,

here it's soo beautiful,

I will enjoy and then it will arrive.

And this is what happened!

I don't understand how to cross the street here!

At the right place.

I have the sensation that the cars will kill me all the time.

People here are very polide at the transit!

And I'm not used to it!!

Who lives in Rio de Janeiro is used to,

the cars trying to kill us all the time.

The traffic signal was closed for me,

the car was stopped and driver did a sign. "Go, you can cross"

The I crossed and the cars started walking again.

Me: HELLO???

I'n not used to receive so much education at the traffic!!

This is horrible!

I am very conditioned to a very precarious condition.

It's sad.

This is my room for the next six days.

This is all I need.

A place to sleep,

my things,

this view,

A locker room. (mine is number four)

If you lost the key you pay 500 krons.

That basic rules:

Don't bring anyone. Don't drink. Don't smoke.

No disturb after 11 P.M.

At the next six days I'll be "alone" in the city, living adventures!

Of course I've started a friendship with a lot of people here.

This is my idea!

I've met people from...

France,

Greece,

Germany,

Polland.

And don't forget!!!

Subscribe at this channel!!

Like the video!

Share it!!

And activate the notifications,

at the little bell!

If I had a lot of money,

I'd eat at the best restaurants in the city. Always.

But it's not my reality now!

And I don't wanna stop travelling because of it,

So I need to fit me at my monetary reality.

So,

The quantity of money I can spent to do a nice trip

in the days I planned.

So, instead go to a fancy restaurant,

I go to the market and buy the things I like.

I'm lucky,

I really like to eat some very cheap things,

One thing is whole grain bread without nothing inside. Lol.

I don't need to buy nothing to put inside, I really like this way.

If I do this in Rio, why not here?

02:00. AM!! Everybody's crazy. No one wants to sleep,

We all want some fun!!

Vocês querem festa???

É verão na Europa!!!

E não estamos aqui pra dormir! Porra!!

Eu quero dormir quando eu ficar velho!

Você está sóbrio, não bebeu nada!!

Você está completamente sóbrio e está assim!

Sim. Água já me deixa maluco,

se eu gosto do lugar, das pessoas,

é o suficiente pra mim.

Muita gente acha que eu sempre estou usando algum tipo de droga. LOL.

It's 2 A.M and people are crazy in this hostel!

I'll speak in portuguese, no one is understand a word!

Eu disse: São duas da manhã e ninguém está entendendo nada por que

estou falando em português.

Eu não o entendi! LOL!

What?

Neste quarto há três camas vazias.

Pegue-as e vão dormir!

Neste quarto somos apenas eu e mais um cara.

As outras camas estão vazias.

Vocês podem dormir nelas.

Há um problema com esta porta,

Ela é racista! Lol.

Everything in this hostel it was by internet.

Check in, booking and payment.

After everything is ok, you received an email with some codes.

From the entrance door, your room's door and the number of your bed.

Because of it,

The lady who worked there go away at six, seven at nigh,

and all the place was in our hands, for us!

in this six days,

Every night some people appeared, completely lost about what to do.

Looking for someone who works there.

But there are no one!

They paid, received an email with the confirmation,

but not the email with the codes,

Because of that they couldn't go inside the hostel.

As there wasn't no one working there, and all the dawns we we there, talking,

We started to spread these people at the empty beds,

"Oh, there are two empty beds at my room, you can sleep there!"

"At the other room has more three..."

But there's one rule: They needed to wake up early,

get their things, go out of the hostel,

and return at 7 or 8 a.m. That's when the girl would be there.

Then they talked to her and everything was ok.

Even at the hostels something must happen!

What's happening now?

People are talking but I wanna show something,

Ele está dormingo no chão!

He's sleeping at the ground!

Amnesia - causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, pathology - Duration: 9:46.

In the movie The Bourne Identity, CIA assassin Jason Bourne tells his new acquaintance Marie

Kreutz about washing up on shore, unconscious, with two bullets in his back.

He tells her that he can't remember anything that happened before regaining consciousness,

saying [Jason: No, I'm serious.

I don't know who I am, I don't know where I'm going, none of it.]

Jason Bourne has amnesia which refers to lacking memory.

Now, memory can be divided into two main types.

The first is implicit memory, also known as procedural memory.

Procedural memory refers the sorts of skills you do automatically, without thinking much

about it.

For example, walking, riding a bike, or texting for most teenagers--anything that has become

a habit.

The second type of memory is explicit memory, also known as declarative memory.

Declarative memory refers to retaining facts--the sort of stuff you need to win a trivia contest.

And these memories do take conscious effort to retrieve.

When trying to remember things like, "how many countries start with the letter J?",

most of us need to stop and focus.

It's three by the way.

You can think of procedural memory as "remembering how," and declarative memory as "remembering

what."

When we talk about amnesia, we really mean that some part of a person's declarative

memory, the "remembering what" is affected.

Jason Bourne may not remember who he is, but he has no problem remembering how to speak

foreign languages or how to fight.

Now, the process of making declarative memory can be broken down into four stages, and each

stage involves specific parts of the brain.

The first stage is encoding, and it occurs in the prefrontal cortex.

Encoding begins right when you first sense something.

Say you're tasting a strawberry.

Encoding would involve classifying the strawberry according to sweetness, size, color and texture.

Think of encoding as a process of breaking down an experience into a manageable parts

for rest of the brain to use.

The second stage is consolidation.

Consolidation occurs in the hippocampus, which is deep within the temporal lobes.

In consolidation, the encoded bits of information like sweetness, size, and texture of the strawberry

are linked up to existing memories.

Think of consolidation as solidifying the memory.

Comparing that information about the strawberry with memories you already have, like eating

a raspberry or a blueberry, helps determine where to put that new information in your

memory.

When you consolidate a memory you are organizing it in a way that will be easier to recall.

The third stage is storage, and it takes place throughout the cortex.

In storage, the information that gets linked up to existing memories get preserved or retained.

Now in order to retain a memory, it has to be edited, pared down and simplified.

So less important details, like what you were wearing or what day of the week it was when

you tasted the strawberry, get edited out.

That way the memory stays focused on the really important stuff the sweetness, size, color

and texture of the strawberry - the stuff that matters.

The fourth stage is retrieval, and it occurs in the prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, and

cortex.

In retrieval, the brain goes through encoding, consolidation, and storage of the memory over

and over again.

And with each run-through, retrieval gets easier.

If you've ever tried to memorize facts for a test, you've gone through the process

of retrieval. and you probably know that the more you run through that information, the

more likely you'll be able to remember it on the test.

The retrieval stage protects memories from being lost - the oldest, most retrieved memories

are most resilient.

Now, with amnesia, any of these four stages can be affected.

Amnesia can be categorized into two types, according to which stages are impacted.

The first type is anterograde amnesia and it refers to an inability to form new memories

- often forgetting what happened hour to hour.

This can feel incredibly confusing and frustrating for individuals as they struggle to recall

recent events like who they just spoke to or where they just came from.

Anterograde amnesia is usually because of a problem in the encoding or consolidating

stage, and typically results from damage to the prefrontal cortex or hippocampus.

The second and probably most well-known type of amnesia is retrograde amnesia, and it refers

to an inability to recall old memories.

This can cause anxiety for individuals with retrograde amnesia as well as friends and

family as they completely forget important people or moments in their life.

Often, individuals might create false memories, called confabulations, or might have difficulty

placing a specific memory in time.

Retrograde amnesia is usually because of a problem in the storage or retrieval stage,

and typically results from damage to the cortex, but could involve the prefrontal cortex or

hippocampus as well.

Both anterograde and retrograde amnesia can be caused by acute and chronic conditions.

Acute causes include traumatic head wounds or infections.

And Chronic causes include brain tumors and neurodegenerative diseases, including dementia

and alzheimer's.

Amnesia can also develop from a thiamine or vitamin B1 deficiency, and in that setting

it's called Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome.

Amnesia can also result from medical procedures like electroconvulsive therapy, as well as

medications like benzodiazepines.

Besides brain injury or illness, retrograde amnesia can result from psychological trauma,

in which case it's termed dissociative amnesia.

It's unclear how psychological trauma causes retrograde amnesia, but it's thought that

perhaps forgetting traumatic events is a psychological defense against the distress they can cause.

Sometimes dissociative amnesia targets a specific memory, like a specific violent event, whereas

other times it can be more general, wiping out whole decades of memories.

Sometimes dissociative amnesia is accompanied by dissociative fugue, where a person suddenly

wanders away from their home or community without a clear memory of having done that.

Diagnosis of amnesia often requires getting a medical history from the person affected,

as well as their friends and family to help fill in possible gaps.

Blood tests can detect nutritional deficiencies or infections that impact memory.

And MRI or a CT imaging may be used to detect structural damage or abnormalities in the

brain.

For a diagnosis of dissociative amnesia, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental

Disorders, or DSM-V, states that memory loss should "not occur exclusively during the

course" of dissociative fugue, meaning that the memory loss should still be present after

the episode of wandering away is over.

The DSM-V further states that the amnesia can't be "due to any physiologic effects"

of a drug, or be better explained by any other medical condition associated with retrograde

amnesia.

In many cases, amnesia is temporary, and people will regain memory so long as the cause is

addressed.

Occupational and cognitive therapies can assist with the recovery process, by teaching people

strategies for organizing and sorting new information, and help those with amnesia learn

to manage day-to-day life.

Mobile phones and other portable digital devices have become an important part of treatment,

as they can provide people with alarms and other reminders, as well as a way to store

important information, like pictures and videos of close friends and family.

For dissociative amnesia, psychotherapy can help a person safely process traumatic memories.

Alright, so as a quick recap, anterograde amnesia usually affects the encoding or consolidating

stage of memory formation and causes a person to be unable to form new memories.

Retrograde amnesia usually affects the storage or retrieval stage of memory formation and

causes a person to be unable to recall old memories.

One type of retrograde amnesia is a dissociative amnesia which is thought to be a psychological

defense to dissociate or detach from distressing events in the past.

What If America Can't Stop North Korea? - Duration: 2:52.

What if America can't stop north korea?

There are few problems that are unsolvable, but there are also problems that can only

be solved by making those problems worse, or creating more problems.

It's one of the reasons why the probelm of north korea has not been solved despite

repeated sanctions being placed and repeated threats being made.

America hasn't been able to stop north korea yet, so perhaps America can't stop north

korea at all.

Hello and welcome back to life's biggest question's, I'm charlotte dobre.

Don't forget to like and subscribe and let us know in the comments below what topics

you would like to see next.

So what are america's options regarding north korea?

America could target north Korean nuclear facilities, but we don't know where all

of the facilities are.

If American forces miss even a single facility, North Korea could retaliate.

They could attack the US airbase of Guam, or launch a nuke at the atmosphere to cause

an electro magnetic pulse.

An electro Magnetic pulse could wipe out all electricity in the US, something that could

have catastrophic consequences.

Perhaps there are north Korean submarines armed with missiles floating somewhere in

the pacific ocean.

We wont know if there are, until america strikes first.

America could give south korea nuclear weapons to even the playing field, but is it really

wise to be giving out weapons of mass destruction like the are free ipods?

America could implement tougher sanctions on north korea, stop the trading of military

materials between north korea and surrounding countries.

But if you stop trade of one thing, you're going to have to stop trade of everything

else.

North Korea has 25 million inhabitants, many of which are already on the brink of starvation.

Cutting off trade completely will surely push the country into a famine, another famine.

Plus, you've gotta get both china and Russia to agree to stop trading with north korea,

and they wont do that.

North Korea and China trade billions of dollars worth of goods every year, and also accounts

for 90 percent of Pyongyang's foreign trade.

Plus, china has a lot of reasons to keep the current situation in north korea as it is.

While we are all worried about north kroea, china is expanding its military and its territory.

President Xi built artificial islands in the South China Sea, which are rumoured to be

the homes of long range missiles.

China is also currently constructing its first ever overseas military base in Africa.

If anything changes in north Korea, the regime falls or the US attacks, theres the possibility

of 25 million refugees crossing the border into china.

Need I remind you that china has a 1 child population control policy?

So you see what I mean?

Trying to solve the problem, only creates more problems.

So what if America can't stop north korea?

Well perhaps the best option, is to negotiate for peace, and those negotiations will likely

include letting north korea test and posess nuclear weapons.

Is it really fair for the US to have a say in another country's right to nuclear weapons?

Until a negotiation for peace is on the table, both north korea and America are going to

continue to engage in a game of chicken.

Both Donald trump and Kim Jong Un have a lot to loose if they strike first.

For now, I'm charlotte dobre for lifes biggest questions, thank you so much for watching

this video, if you enjoyed it and would like to see more like it

Horrifying Alert Issued After 6 Drop Dead In State Overrun With Refugees – It's FAR Worse Than We T… - Duration: 4:34.

Horrifying Alert Issued After 6 Drop Dead In State Overrun With Refugees – It's

FAR Worse Than We Thought.

Thanks to the reckless immigration policies of Barrack Hussein Obama, we now have ISIS

terrorists and violent Mexican gangs running rampant in our country.

President Trump is doing everything in his power to keep the vermin out, but liberal

mayors and governors continue to defy federal law, proclaiming their areas as "sanctuary

cities" for whatever potentially dangerous individual wants to call home.

Now thanks to liberals, it looks like we have far bigger problem on our hands than third

world country invaders.

Now in the heavily migrant-dominated area of Minnesota, there's now a massive outbreak

of a previously almost eradicated disease, that has locals in a massive panic right before

the holidays.

The disgusting disease of tuberculosis keeps popping up in areas where Muslim refugees

are being allowed to invade.

Several months ago, a horrifying outbreak happened in San Diego county, where one doctor

revealed that a whopping 21.4 percent of Muslims migrants there had the disease.

The nasty disease is easily spread through the air by speaking, coughing, sneezing, or

spitting, and infects the lungs.

Now unfortunately, it's not just California dealing with widespread TB outbreaks.

Six have dropped dead of the disease in Ramsey County, Minnesota, as of November 6, where

this is being called the "largest outbreak in the country."

Even more disturbing is that this particular strain is completely resistant to any type

of treatment.

Opposing Views reported:

An outbreak of drug-resistant tuberculosis in Ramsey County, Minnesota has infected 17

people and killed six as of Nov. 6.

The outbreak is the largest in the country.

"We've put a lot of resources into responding to this situation," Kris Ehresmann, director

for Infectious Disease at the Minnesota Department of Health told KMSP.

The outbreak has largely impacted members of Ramsey County's large Hmong community.

Fourteen of the infected are elderly Hmong.

Ehresmann believes 10 of those people were infected at the same senior center.

"We have a large Hmong community in Minnesota, so I think it's really important that they're

aware of the situation and attentive and monitoring what's going on with elders," Ehresmann

said.

If you think it's pure coincidence that this disease is popping up in densely populated

areas containing Muslim refugees, then you're living under a rock.

Liberals in Minnesota love to constantly brag about the numbers of refugees they've brought

in, where Minnesota women are now suffering devastating results of this Muslim invasion,

now constantly threatened with rape by the local Somali Muslim populace.

While there's no cure for rapists, the Director For Infectious Disease, Kris Ehresmann, is

doing everything she can to contain the outbreak.

But being that this strain is resistant to antibiotics, it's

extremely difficult to treat.

"When you have a multi-drug resistant disease what that means is the organism that's causing

the TB is now resistant to at least two of the usual drugs that are used, so it's not

that you can't treat it, but it's going to take second-line drugs," Ehresmann said.

It's not just the disease that could devastate locals, but the cost of treatment could cripple

the local city's budget.

"The cost of treating drug-resistant tuberculosis is more than seven times the cost of regular

tuberculosis treatment, according to KMSP.

Regular treatment costs $17,000.

Drug-resistant treatment costs $134,000," Opposing Views went on.

Director of St. Paul-Ramsey County Public Health, Anne Barry, told the press that she

and local health officials are doing everything they can to work directly with the community.

"In our partnership with the Minnesota Department of Health, we're really the front line,"

she said.

"We're working directly with the community and with people of the community in the health

department, so we have health educations, community health workers, nurses who are in

and of the Hmong community, and that's an essential part of the work that's being

done here.

We're often not trusted by people of the community, so having relationships has been

essential."

Please tell me what these Muslim migrants are contributing to our society other than

bringing their third world country Sharia Law practices and their archaic diseases into

our country.

I'll wait while you think about your answer.

What do you think about this?

School Of Though: Pilot Episode - Duration: 8:06.

[music]

Randy: Welcome and thank you for joining us for the very first episode of School of Thought.

Where we highlight the greatest and latest about Round Rock ISD.

It's time for our Top Three where we look at the top three things you should know about the District.

First up is the highlight from Festival of Bands. Check it out

[music]

David: Well, we're here for the 18th annual Festival of Bands.

It's at Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex here in beautiful Round Rock, TX.

This is our 18th event of this nature, and it's my third as the assistant director of Fine Arts

but also my 16th as being in the District. So it's a very exciting night for us.

We have our high school bands performing their productions, and our middle school bands

join them after they do their halftime production, their competition show.

And they all play a tune together, so it's a lot of fun for everybody involved.

>> Boone: It should be really fun. I'm excited. Our show is really good this year.

[music]

>> Madison: Our show is called inverted and basically

it's just got a bunch of upside down backward things, that are pretty cool.

[music]

>> Jerry: I've come here to play at the Festival of Bands. We're going to play "We Got the Beat."

[music]

>> Brandon: I'm a senior, I've been doing this for four years and today I will be performing

"New York State of Mind" is our show this year. Kind of a little something different. Kind of putting

us in the little aspect of day-to-day living in New York and what it's like.

[music]

>> David: This is such a great night for us to kind of show off a little bit, but more importantly

to express our thanks for all of the support the Fine Arts gets in Round Rock ISD.

We have some fantastic support all the way across from little string players at the AIAs,

all the way up to the high schools and the marching bands and all the great things

that go on here in Fine Arts.

We definitely appreciate all of the support we get. [music]

[music]

>> Randy: Part two of the Top Three is that Round Rock ISD celebrated

the opening of Pearson Ranch Middle School. The District's eleventh middle school.

Kim Winters is the principal of Pearson Ranch, where they currently have

over 600 students and can hold over 1,200.

You can learn more about the new middle school at roundrockisd.org

Joining me for part three of the Top Three is the Area Superintendent of the

Westwood Learning Community, Becky Donald. To talk about the

pilot program at Westwood high to exclude class rank from student transcripts.

[music]

>> Becky: The Rank in Class Program at Westwood High School

is currently in the past we've had it as a ranking school.

Now as of October 1, 2017, it is now considered a non-ranking school.

A non-ranking means that by state law

the top ten percent students must be ranked and it must show up on their transcript.

But for the 90% of the other students at Westwood High School,

it will not show up on their transcript.

This program is currently only at Westwood High School. It is a pilot program

and we will look at assessing this program and it's successes at the end of the year.

Well we're hoping that it'll effect Westwood students by

one is trying to get more of the Westwood students into colleges and universities

of their choices. And we know a lot of this has to do with

college and the university and how they rank our students holistically.

But research and schools that look like Westwood such as

Anderson or Lasa, Westlake, they've gone to the non-ranking schools,

and what they're showing is that more of their students are

entering the school of choice. So that's what we want with the Westwood High School community.

If a parent or student has questions about the non-ranking

or ranking program, I would reach out to your school counselor or principal.

They would have that information or could point you in the right direction

to get those answers.

>> Randy: Next is our Student Spotlight, where we highlight a student for going above and beyond.

And that's exactly what Deshayla did when she performed CPR to save another student's life.

[music] [student counting compressions]

>> Deshayla: So we were at the pool. There were a lot of people there, like probably four families.

including us. And we had all gotten out to take a break to eat and everything.

And Elsie went to the bathroom and wanted to rinse something off of her bathing suit,

so she slipped in to rinse it.

And Kye, my 13-year old brother was still in the pool and he saw her go to the bottom

and nobody else saw it, so he looked at me and was like, "Shayla, I don't know what to do"

And I was like, so I looked at Elsie's mom, Kim, and I was like, she's at the bottom. I don't-

So then we all jumped in, pulled her out and then we brought her out and she wasn't breathing

so I started CPR.

I'm in the Health Science Academy so sophomore year we went over it briefly,

and then my junior year I was in Health Science again with Mrs. Wells,

and we went through the whole certification process. So we watched the videos

and did the demos and everything.

>> Rita: I did not think anyone would be utilizing that skill that quickly.

I thought maybe it would be something in the future that they may use. That type of thing.

But I was just absolutely amazed. Deshayla's a natural anyway and she just

picked up on the skills really quickly and well. And actually she

took on the roll in my classroom as being the tutor.

So when students were having problems with depth and compression,

she would take them off to the side while I worked with the rest of the class,

and she would go over the skills with them.

So she's a wonderful student all across the board.

I'm very proud. Very proud of her. Kind of makes me want to cry a little bit.

It does.

What your goal always is is that when you teach your students,

you want them to make a difference in life. And not only did she make a difference in her life

but she made a difference in someone else's life.

>> Deshayla: I think if you have the ability to learn CPR, even if you don't take the class,

just learning the basics, it's really important.

>> Randy: What an amazing story! And if you're interested in learning how to perform CPR,

reach out to your school counselor or local community center.

Up next is Rock Talk, where we take a closer look at some of the lingo, processes and ideas

you might hear around the District. We're almost out of time here so we'll put

60 seconds on the clock. Speaking of running late. Here's Ms. Maritza

to talk about our new Late Bus Texting tool. And...go.

>> Maritza: Thanks, Randy. School bus delays are often unavoidable and unpredictable.

However, keeping parents and guardians in the loop isn't.

We're piloting a new program that lets parents and guardians know when their student's bus

will be late in picking them up or dropping them off.

If you didn't receive a text invitation, please contact your student's campus

to make sure that your preferred mobile number is on file.

And then text the word "yes" to 67587 to opt-in. To opt-out, text "stop" to 67587.

For more information and to see FAQs visit transportation.roundrockisd.org

>> Randy: Well that's it for this episode of School of Thought.

Let us know what your favorite story was in the comments below.

Subscribe to our channel for more videos. Like this video, smash it if you so please

and we'll see you next time.

The Mysterious Rock Wall In China Lays 'Eggs' Every 30 Years And Scientists Still Don't Know Why - Duration: 3:00.

Modern technology has helped scientists solve many of the mysteries of our natural world

but there are still some anomalies that even the best experts can't fully explain an

unusual Mountain located in China's gazoo province has baffled

Geologists for generations and the reason why will leave you scratching your head as well

The mountain is called Chan daya, and the Mandarin name literally translates to egg-laying cliff this

65-foot long formation has been mysteriously sprouting stone eggs for generations and no one has been able to explain why

According to schooi people from the local gurus a village nearby the egg formations take 30 years to develop

Villagers have known about this strange phenomenon for generations and many of them journey to the cliff to touch the god eggs

Believing that they bring good luck

in fact nearly every one of the

125 Shoei families who live in the Guzan village have at least one of the eggs

Displayed in their home for worship, and there are plenty more scattered throughout the village as a sign of good luck and prosperity

The mountain itself has even become a popular tourist attraction because of this inexplicable phenomenon

Unfortunately this has also resulted in many of the Fallen eggs being stolen and sold for a profit by treasure hunters

So does anyone have a guess as to what's happening here the shapes are dark blue in color and they resemble dinosaur eggs?

They all vary in size

some of them are small enough to carry in one arm and others can grow to a much larger size even weighing as much as

660 pounds

although the Chan diam Mountain has the highest concentration

Of these rock eggs the Chinese media reports there are actually other sections of the mountain where they grow as well

Most of them stick out sideways just like on the Chandana and others dangled from above like Hornet nests

Geologists have yet to confirm. What causes these eggs?

Tests have shown these particular egg growing regions of the mountain are made up of calcareous rock which is easily eroded

However, the eggs are made up of a much tougher. Type of rock, which is why they remain after the sir Stone wears away

the stones are said to have been formed millions of years ago during the Cambrian period

Experts are at a loss to explain. How something that was formed 500 million years ago is only just appearing today

Or why the stones are perfectly round in shape?

What a truly bizarre natural phenomenon

Hopefully science will be able to one day figure out exactly why this strange mountain is sprouting these mystery eggs

Time For Your Dreams

Hello and Welcome to Marrakech

This town were founded in 1071 by Youssef Ibn Tachfine

We call it also the red town and that is mainly due to the colour of most of the houses

I am spending a half day here

during this time, I would love to show some of the unavoidable places

Majorelle Garden is one of the most visited places in Morocco

it took 40 years for the French painter Jacques Majorelle

between 1886 and 1962 to create this place that is today in the heart of the red city

it's the perfect place for a magical walk

Menara is a vast garden planted with olive trees laid out under the Almohad dynasty

in the heart of this garden is a large pond

at the foot of a pavilion that serves as a reservoir for irrigating crops

this place is peaceful and ideal for walks

Top 10 Alternate Versions Of The Green Goblin - Duration: 5:16.

Welcome back nerd squad, my name is Roya Destroyaa and this is Top 10 Nerd.

The Green goblin is perhaps one of SpidermanÕs most well known villains.

He first appeared in the Amazing Spiderman #14, and was the source of an argument between

creators Steve Ditko, who wanted him to be an entirely new character, and Stan Lee, who

wanted him to be someone Peter Parker knew.

Guess who won that argument.

So letÕs take a look at the top 10 alternate versions of the green goblin.

In the number 10 spot we have GOBLIN 2099.

Spiderman 2099Õs version of the Green goblin is determined to become the cityÕs guardian,

and tries to convince everyone that Spiderman is a corporate sellout working for a big company

called Alchemex.

This goblin was supposed to be priest Jennifer DÕangelo, but when writer Peter David left,

the identity was switched to SpideyÕs brother Gabriel oÕHara.

Which was then switched to a shapeshifter who was framing OÕHara.

Not particularly uncommon in the comic book world.

Coming in at number 9 is 2 FACED GOBLIN.

This version is a combination of DcÕs Two Face and MarvelÕs Green goblin.

Harvey Osborne of the Amalgam Universe had his face disfigured in a terrible accident

that he blamed on Dark claw, the universeÕs Wolverine x Batman cross.

To seek his revenge he formed a villainous group called the Terrible Three, which included

himself, Scarecrow, and siliconman.

Until they became possessed by night Spectre and had to be killed.

So it worked for a while.

Until it didnÕt.

Next, at number 8 we got INDIAN GOBLIN.

Spiderman: India features its own version of the goblin, Nalin (nah-leen) Oberai.

He is a Mumbai business man who searched tirelessly for amystical amulet that would connect him

to evil demons that had ruled the earth in the past.

He find she amulet and successful transforms into the green goblin.

He transforms a regular doctor into his own Dr. Octopus, and the two of them set out to

defeat this version of Spiderman, Pavitr (pa-VI-ter) Prabhakar (pra-BOK-er).

In the number 7 spot is FURY THE GOBLIN QUEEN.

This MC2 version is Elan DeJunae, daughter of a South American crime family who is arranged

to marry Normie Osborne due to her fatherÕs connections with the order of the goblin.

As she grows up, she makes connections with the black Tarantula and trains after Norman

Osborne to become leader of the order.

But that arranged marriage didnÕt thrill her too much, so true goblin style what do

you do?

Try and kill the guy.

Maybe you should sit down and talk it out first.

Coming in at number 6 we have EARTH X GOBLIN.

In the alternate of Earth X, the Terrigen mist has mutated most of the human race.

In fact, it is responsible for making Norman OsborneÕs face resemble that of the goblinÕs,

forcing him to wear a mask to appear more human like.

And he must do this because his business ventures have succeeded through some questionable means

to the point of him being in control of the US and becoming president.

Why do comics always put the worst people in the white house.

Next up, at number 5 is INFINITY GOBLIN.

The what If?

Dark Reign comic poses the idea of Norman Osborne acquiring the infinity amulet, one

of the most dangerous items in the Marvel universe.

In the process he defeats countless heroes and traps Spiderman in a torturous time loop.

To show his dad how much heÕs accomplished, he resurrects him with the amulet, only to

be told that his father thinks heÕs a monster.

The man may be abusive, but apparently heÕs also very honest.

Up next at number 4 is THE EVIL STEPFATHER.

Spiderman fairy tales featured a gender-swapped version of Cinderella.

In this story, Norman is the cruel and controlling stepfather to Peter Parker, who was taken

up the mantle of Cinderella herself.

Though the green goblin is not explicit in this story, NormanÕs coat of arms and armor

both carry the goblin and pumpkin motif, and thatÕs enough for us to see that the man

hasnÕt changed at all.

In the number 3 spot, we have GOBLIN KING.

Avataars Covennant of the shield featured a sword and sorcery version of the Marvel

universe, and along with that came a different green goblin, one who more closely resembled

goblins of mythology, only speaks in rhymes, and who led a group called the six most sinister.

Together they run a tollbooth in the Webwood, and those who refused to pay, paid the price.

Of refusing to pay.

Coming in at number 2 is GOBLIN NOIR.

Marvel NoirÕs Norman Osborne was an ex circus freak who was terribly abused because of his

reptilian skin disorder.

To find respect he became a crime lord, and assembled a gang out of circus performers

and freak shows.

He became a well known freelancing criminal for hire among politicians and big business

men, but no matter hwo far he climbed on the ladder, he continued to wear a mask to hide

his embarrassing true appearance.

Kind of humbling to think about.

And finally, in the number 1 spot, weÕve got ULTIMATE GOBLIN.

The Ultimate universe introduced us to a Norman Osborne who is working on a perfected version

of the super soldier drug for SHIELD, and after witnessing the effects of a contaminated

spider biting Peter Parker, decided to try the chemicals out on himself.

In that classic experiment gone wrong, Norman was turned into a muscular and demonic goblin

creature with heightened abilities and the ability to throw fireballs.

So maybe in his eyes this was an experiment gone right.

So those were the top 10 alternate versions of the green goblin.

Let me know in the comment section down below who you want alternate versions of next.

My name is Roya Destroyaa, thanks for watching, and donÕt forget to subscribe so you never

miss another nerdy list!

RM: I buy a lot.

J-Hope: And V spends a lot when he finds something he really likes.

Suga: The reason that I don't go out to shop is because the Korean delivery system is so amazing. If I order something today, it will arrive tomorrow. That's why I don't go out to shop

RM: In the US it could take a little longer for deliveries because the country is so big.

Suga: I don't know about Italy, but because there aren't many delivery systems that deliver as fast as Korea, Koreans tend to shop online a lot more.

More harm than good Most men are better off NOT treating prostate cancer — most tumors will not caus - Duration: 4:24.

More harm than good Most men are better off NOT treating prostate cancer most tumors

will not cause harm

Weve all heard that early detection is vital for many medical conditions, but when

it comes to prostate cancer, an Oxford academic has claimed that thousands of men who have

the illness would actually be better off if they had never been diagnosed.

According to Professor Freddie Hamdy, many men with slow-growing tumors that hadnt

spread underwent treatment they didnt need out of sheer anxiety over the presence of

the tumor.

He said that a diagnosis prompted many men to feel worried and depressed, opting to get

treatment even when it wasnt in their best interest.

Professor Hamdy said: You can over-detect [prostate cancer] in people, when it wouldnt

cause them any harm.

Over-treatment is a consequence of over-detection because when you tell a patient that he has

cancer, you give him a new identity, you give him a new passport which he is going to have

to carry for the rest of his life.

Radiotherapy and prostate cancer therapy can have severe side effects, including incontinence

and the loss of a mans sex life.

Right now, Professor Hamdy is leading a U.K. trial looking at 82,400 prostate cancer patients

between the ages of 50 and 69 to compare outcomes and costs between patients who opt for radiotherapy,

surgery, or no treatment beyond regular follow-ups.

In earlier research, Professor Hamdy studied 500 men who had localized prostate cancer.

This type of prostate cancer makes up about half of all cases and refers to a slow-growing

cancer that hasnt spread to any other organs.

The patients he studied got regular scans but did not undergo any treatment in an approach

known as active surveillance. In the beginning, 80 percent of the men agreed not

to undergo any treatment and continue their monitoring, but this figure dropped to 75

percent after three years.

A decade later, only 44 percent had not undergone treatment.

Only 1 percent had died as a result of their cancer, while another 10 percent passed away

due to other causes.

Most of the patients decided to get treatment not because their cancer had spread but because

of anxiety about the possibility of it spreading in the future.

The Research Director of Prostate Cancer U.K., Dr. Matthew Hobbs, said that the results are

very positive for men who are diagnosed before the cancer spreads outside the prostate as

99 percent of the men lived for at least a decade regardless of treatment.

He pointed out that it shows that when active surveillance is carried out to a high standard,

it can give men the same survival odds over ten years as those who opt for radiotherapy

or surgery.

Dr. Hobbs said that these results should be conveyed to men with localized prostate cancer

so they can make informed choices regarding how to proceed.

Look to your diet to help fight prostate cancer

Its understandable that men who are diagnosed with prostate cancer would feel compelled

to do something about it, but unnecessary treatment is clearly the wrong path to choose.

Instead, men can take control over their health by improving their diet, eliminating processed

foods and chemical preservatives.

Perhaps more importantly, there are a few key foods they should add to their diets.

Research has shown that eating apples and grapes is a great way to fight prostate cancer.

In a study out of the University of Texas at Austin, researchers found that the resveratrol

in grapes and ursolic acid in apple peels were among the most effective compounds when

it comes to starving prostate cancer cells and stopping their proliferation.

Combining the two also prevented cancerous cells from consuming the glutamine they need

to grow.

With one out of every seven men expected to develop prostate cancer according to the American

Cancer Society, its important for all men to proceed with caution following a diagnosis

and avoid getting unnecessary treatments.

Canceled Heroes From Overwatch - Duration: 10:25.

Hello, everybody!

Disciple here with Overwatch Curios!

Now we've done quite a few videos lately discussing the development of heroes within

Overwatch.

We've talked about how every hero goes through a ton of different iterations before they

ever make it to the player, and also how the Blizzard team is always willing to try out

many different prototypes for heroes and abilities just to see how they do and how they feel

in the game.

But for a long time, players have asked about some of the heroes from the original concept

and teaser art Blizzard released when the game was first announced.

) Now some of these heroes have been reworked

or designed and eventually made it into the game, like the infamous "hazmat suit"

guy who would eventually become Ana.

However many of these heroes are still a mystery for the fans.

Have any of these other heroes made it past concept art?

If so, what happened to them?

Is it possible that these heroes were re-worked or could be added at a later date, or are

they all trashed now?

Luckily Jeff Kaplan has been very active in reaching out with fans and answering questions

such as these time and again.

When asked by (needs source) Jeff had this to say:

"Were there any hero concepts that you personally wish got past a test/concept phase, but never

saw the light of day?

How many hero concepts have been dumpstered over the course of development?"

Jeff Kaplan: "Yes.

We don't dumpster any of them.

We keep working on them."

If we take a look back at that original release poster again, there's two heroes that definitely

stand out as distinct characters that would feel right at home within the world of Overwatch.

The first of these is the red juggernaut looking guy to the far right.

While the Juggernaut was an original concept from the now defunct Titan project that later

became Overwatch, we know that class eventually was reworked into Reinhardt.

This character however looks to be an omnic counterpart to Reinhardt, and would presumably

be a tank as well.

Unfortunately unlike most of the other heroes in the picture, we can't really see any

indication of weapons, so it's hard to imagine what this character would have played like

in the game.

To the left of him, between Tracer and Winston, there's also a tall and slender omnic.

People have theorized for a while that this could be Athena, the AI that Winston works

with and talks to in several of the animated shorts.

If this is Athena, though, it seems odd that Blizzard would not put any more work into

showing her at least in the shorts, after having given her a model they intended to

work around.

So whether it is her or not, we can assume this is another hero concept that's been

left on the back-burner for Blizzard to hopefully bring to life at a later point in time.

And then there's this interview Jeff Kaplan did with GameStop, which again touches on

the topic of unvisited heroes or ones that never made it past internal testing and concepting.

When jokingly asked about adding a cat hero to the game for the goodness of the internet,

Jeff mentions some more concepts that never really came out.

"The answer is yes.

This is an exclusive, no one has ever heard this before, but when we were first starting

to make Overwatch we had to test the boundaries.

It was a new IP and we didn't know how far or wide we could go, so Winston was kind of

this cornerstone in a lot of ways.

It was like, "Hey there's a gorilla and he talks, is that okay?

Yeah, that's okay."

Then on the other end of the spectrum you've got guys like Soldier 76 who is a soldier

guy and they were good bookends.

But we had explored much further out from that.

We had done a lot of concepting.

We had one hero who was just a hockey player.

Literally a hockey player.

We later made a Lucio skin for a hockey player.

But he was just a hockey player hero.

Then there was this one hero that was a huge internal debate on the team because we just

loved it so much but it didn't make it.

It was this jetpack and it had this cat that laid in it, like a cat does.

Then every once in awhile it would paw at the controls.

It was a cat in a jetpack.

That was one of those moments that helped define Overwatch.

We just went, "Yeah that's probably too far."

But yes.

We had a cat hero."

I'd feel confident in saying that they never really planned to release a jetpack cat even

if they did toy around with the idea, but the part about the hockey player is interesting.

While it was probably conceived before the lore of Overwatch began to unfold to the degree

it has now, to a world where a hockey player would feel out of place, that crossover between

concept and another character fits perfectly.

Lucio having a hockey-themed skin doesn't seem out of place, and it's really neat

to see the team paying homage to the old concepts that never made

the cut.

But it's also important to keep in mind balance.

Every time a hero is added to the game, it can directly impact the playability of other

heroes within the game.

We've been told since the game was announced that Overwatch is designed as a game focused

around counter play, and the reason the team will never remove the option to switch heroes

during a game is because every hero is meant to have counters and they build the game around

that concept of switching on the fly as teams change or even as the map changes.

For example, some maps like Route 66 transition from very tall skyboxes perfect for Pharah,

to confined points where you're better off switching to a flank or a close quarters hero

like McCree or Reaper.

So when asked if Blizzard had any idea of how many heroes they wanted to add, or if

they had a goal for that value, Jeff was quick to explain why he doesn't want to churn

heroes out quickly and would actually like to slow down the process over time.

""I don't have a number in my head.

It's funny because when we first came up with the game concept we had a really huge number

in mind.

And then we kept shrinking that number and now we're more evaluating things almost like

an evolving process.

Each hero that comes out makes us evaluate how much time it should take for the next

hero to come out.

I really do feel that we should not be in a mode where we're shooting to have one hero

a month or something like that.

MOBAs need to do that because of the type of gameplay they have and the business model.

I think we need to take a step back from hero development in Overwatch and really evaluate

what it does to the meta--but also there's some other factors.

One of the factors is our time and attention.

The more heroes we add, the less attention we're giving to the existing 24 heroes that

are already out there.

Then also I think there's something that's really valuable in player affinity for a hero.

That has to do with how the hero looks, the backstory, their relationships with other

heroes in the game, and I feel like the more heroes we add the less we can invest in each

hero that already exists.

So, I would like to see hero development not go any faster than it currently is and maybe

over time even slow down somewhat.

I want each hero to feel like a really special event where you're just so excited, they fit

in, and once they're added, it feels like they were always meant to be there.

[I don't want] to get into a mode where we're like, "What's the hero of the week" and they

start to homogenize with each other or take away from each other."

Maybe a day comes where we get to see some of these concepts we've seen in the past

applied to the game, or maybe the development team has indirectly given a nod to them in

the game in a way that we could never know until Jeff decides to drop some knowledge

on us once again.

I love the fact that blizzard continues to pay respects to it's early development cycle.

Things like the hockey skin for Lucio, things that the players would never know were related

to other concepts are a really cool thing that shows how they never truly give up on

any concept, regardless of how unfitting it may have seemed in the past.

With that being said though, I really hope we see some nods towards those original concepts

from earlier, either as new heroes or as alternative skins for heroes that currently exist.

Apocalypse How: Nostradamus - Duration: 1:43.

Today on Apocalypse How, we are going to talk about Nostradamus.

Besides having an awesome name, he was primarily a physician living in 16th century France.

He was also a quote-on-quote "prophet" which apparently was a profession back then.

Oh, and he was very much into the occult.

So, take that however you like.

Nostradamus lived in a French provence called Provence (little on the nose, if you ask me)

and spent his days fixing folks and predicting what future folks would go through.

He wrote it all down in the book in 1555 entitled "The Prophecies."

Again, very much on the nose, but it was a best seller.

A lot of his prophecies were written as letters to his newborn son, Cesare.

Which is also a super cool name.

According to Nostradamus, we've got until 2242 A.C.E until everything goes to sh*t.

It will start with a flood so total in scope, practically everything will die and

everyone who manages to survive will have to deal with rain no longer being a thing

and most of the planet being completely submerged.

When it finally does rain again, it will be mostly comets, asteroids, and other space

rocks hailing down from the heavens until nothing remains.

For the people that survive that, there's the big finale: what Nostradamus calls a "Conflagration."

Consensus is that is just means a huge amount of fire literally engulfing the Earth.

It's fine.

That's- that's fine.
