kind of want to go on i-40 I don't really wanna totally want to go up the
i-15 now I don't really want to go on the mountains up there and pull a ride
on all that stuff so so here we go here we have to check out

to see what they want usually they want to charge you for
parking here but I got a reserved here right so hopefully they'll let me go

there this is I can go up here to 4th Street make a right there and then I
come back on 2:15 up there and then go down that way and I'll hit the 15 up
there I can take the ramp up there so they all work out for me
Wow look at these beautiful palm trees up here isn't that gorgeous or what

twenties in their by Dow C 100 chain oh I don't think you could go into this
entrance you probably came around on the other side somewhere but hey look at

on this road and make our way towards Isis Dean right that's where we want to
go that's right I'm probably going to leave my Google on so that way I can hit
the i-40 I'm gonna tell it to take me I forty I um I go I 50 n-- and then go on
to the mount there is no sign saying you can turn on red hey there we go

the Red Lobster right there to the right I don't care for lobster or shrimp but
somebody might right yeah I think it's gonna be a good day today what do you

Here I am guys in the middle of the desert and it is starting to warm up
pretty good again it is currently 29 degrees Celsius right now
you can see pretty much what you see right
they're to the left a little bit they're to the right
and we gotta find an hour and 15 minutes and we'll be in Arizona guys yes indeed
and that's where I'm going to make me a pit stop
I already been driving for about two and three-quarter hours so I think it's
getting closer closer time to make this a little bit of a pit stop I need some
fuel anyways and need to grab me a bite to eat I haven't had anything to eat yet
today in central diamonds already 146 and the afternoon
it is only 1146 here clods getting closer to lunchtime and
I kind of got going on late today so
yeah probably will be taking it easy here the next two days
and then just do a reset nettle bad will be back and full for us again that's
right we got a rest area coming up in 12 miles
says food and water I guess
yes that probably means that we will be climbing a deal I've noticed that out
here if you're climbing a big deal they got rest areas on top there and it
says water you know basically meaning that maybe if your engine get fog or
whatever you get some water cool everything down whatever you know
well yeah we're out here in the desert that's for sure
I even see in some areas where it's pretty nice white sand
it's not much visible here right now but was a little bit of that earlier
apparently up in there is on I have even more of that white sand desert so I'll
probably get a capture of that I'm a little bit on video hopefully here we
are on top of one of these hills look at those guys knowing we are starting to go
downhill way down there into the valley I'm looking at this here for a good
while already been going up here for a good while so I figured you know
eventually we probably going downhill and look at that yeah
way up there I didn't even think shows nearly any of it that I see I see
way down there and the bottom of the valley is where I'm going to be headin
to so we're going to be going downhill for a good while I'm pretty sure just
gonna use my engine brake here according Lee I don't want to be going over to
speed limit but if I turn it all the way on hold it slows me down too much for
having on minimum it's not quite enough there for a second
anyways but I know it seems to be okay
again just keep her rolling down so we're gonna get some great fuel mileage
snow that's sure we have to work the engine brake a
little bit it's part of it I guess anyways that's
the enjoyed of you guys let's go to the valley
you get about thirty eight more miles to go and I'll be at the truck stop so that
means here and probably in the next thirty minutes I'll probably be entering
Arizona what I'm thinking

officially leaving California look at that even got a nice river up here
couple of nice boats out there it looks like not sure what they're doing but

California and the very first time in Arizona yeah
love it all we got faster speed them and guys
we can get back up to regular speed limit ladies and gentlemen I think I'm
just going to leave it at 60 though I was doing 58 all the way in California
and now in Arizona I think I'm just gonna do 60 I'm okay with Doughty and
I'm not really into 60 and we better feel mileage and we
gotta go see the scale up here I already been told by other drivers that they
want to see your registration and making sure that you are registered to go into
Arizona which we are yep so let's get up up to the scales and
they have to say alright the guys I just got the song sing okay to bypass base
station so I don't have to go in guys
why because I got the free pass
a okay to bypass everybody holds or almost everybody has to go in
are open I'm getting the bypass I know it's kind of windy
kind of get caught in here when I
those clothes are gonna try and speak lauder so you guys can hear me
here we go got six more miles and we'll be at the truck stop where I want to
have fuel up and take a half an hour break I'll probably
go take me a shower and all that stuff so
yes so though we are there soon right here we go guys we have got
ourself going again as you guys can probably tell I've at me and
I shower I know it's time to turn on the camera I went down the road a little bit
and look what we were looking at here man this is nice-looking air a kind of
weird looking on the way by day figured I show it to you guys anyways figure I
closed off my window so you guys can at least hear me this apparently is a lot
of Indians used to live up here or whatever my buddy was telling me and he
says some of them they have actually dug holes into the rock and they were living
in there that's what he was saying so I don't know I don't know nothing about it
let's shift our down one more gear so he can make it up a little easier
pancakes in it as a bit more juice ray to cool off the engine
after they need some good juice to pull it up here
that's not super steep but
let's get on down the road
probably going to start seeing some more interesting stuff while I was going to
show you guys this Arizona sign yet too earlier but I didn't take the video of
it yet

- so alright we'll probably get more footage of that as we go down the road
here guys I'm starting to smell a funny smell and I see that camper up ahead of
us there his tires they are smoking we're starting to come apart there - I
don't know why he still continues on is so pretty soon you start going to see
if you want to start seeing some tires fly pretty sure of that I might want to
try and get in over into the left lane there because oh yeah he knows about it
he's pulling over so that's good he's gonna go ahead pull her in over there
and then when he's out of the way here going in and see the balloon smoke up
their tires completely flat oh well police he knows about it he's
gonna go fixed Raby are now fairly high on the L
altitude we're sitting right now at fifty nine hundred and fifteen feet high
right now off the sea level and I think somebody was telling me they're in
Flagstaff they're 43 miles down the road supposedly it's about 6,000 feet up in
the air up there so yeah that's point I I actually got my GPS set right now so
that it told me how high I am and right now join me 59
7b1 right now we're still climbing so we might actually reach 6000 feet here in a
little bit but that Sun is darkness that behind us there saw it on all much
longer we're gonna have sunshine here good or daylight whatever you want
we had sixteen thousand six thousand and thirty feet already we're still going up
obviously this guy must be heavy so he's going
so we go

oh that's pretty high now it looks like it's even going up even
we're up there so yeah we might

and you can also tell that it is cooler over here cooler temperatures reason
being as soon as it's cooler you see starting to trees
you notice how it was like further further and west it was like their VP
with trees and up here we see more trees and they're bigger they know we're
sitting that
feet are still going up we might actually hit 6500 feet by the
time we get up to the top as you guys can see were still flying good
speeds here
yeah that's because we only got sent pounds in the box right

have some nice awesome shows up here setting that almost 6,400 feet right now
saw but he sure would 6,500

for one lane over here so we get around this truck up here
see if four-wheeler coming up a little Hawk behind us there but the flame is
closing so he ain't gonna be so this but oh well

apparently right now it's still going up yeah that is 50 high up pretty high up
in the air that's sure knowledge this right leg goes up ahead and all what
these guys are dreaming about oh well maybe they'll open up the left lane or
it comes down to one lane I don't know sixty-five hundred and sixty two feet

yikes satis 50 Holly I would have to say and I guess we better move into this
lane up here sixty-five seventy eight is the toll is
outrage slow car yeah it looks like it is coming down to two lanes up here
anyhow we'll continue on with our journey up there

done for today we made it up here too just outside of Flagstaff Arizona guys
and I know I need a hairdo my hair's dharna look kind of crappy but we only
have enough hours to drive tomorrow for a full day and then we have to do a
reset out here we we definitely will have to do a reset on Monday that's for
