Good morning. The plan for today was: do as much work as possible, some housework and workout at 11AM
I woke up with a really bad headache, yesterday it was pretty bad as well.
So I'm not going for a workout, maybe later today or otherwise tomorrow.
Going to do some work now; edit some videos, answer some emails,
And afterwards I'm going to do the laundry and stuff. We'll see how today goes. That's my very exciting Monday!
One of the videos is exporting now, so I'm going to do the dishes in the meantime.

I woke up with a sore throat. Today I'll be editing, I want those interviews up asap.
Aqua Bass vlog is going up today as well and I think I might go for a workout later today.
I've got loads of fun plans for this weekend, so I hope I'll feel better by then.

Welcome back to Dark Corners Advent Calendar of Horror.
Once again, you find us in Dark Corners art gallery of the insane and twisted for our countdown to Christmas.

This one needs no introduction.
The image was painted by artist Roger Kastel for the cover of Peter Benchley's book,
but it was so powerful that, in a very rare move, the filmmakers asked for permission to use it,
and publishers Bantam let them have it free of charge.
Steven Spielberg famously said that john Williams' music gave him the shark he couldn't afford,
but the image of that shark had already been placed subliminally in audience's minds by the poster.
The key thing about the poster is the water -
so much of the film hangs on Body's fear of the water and there it is, covering almost the whole sheet.
The girl on top is completely oblivious to what's about to hit her, and that's the point:
you never know what might be lurking beneath the surface.
The poster has identified the key fear on which the film plays
so when you go in and see that opening scene, you're scared for the girl already.

There seems to be a lot of interest these days in �Alien� sightings, kidnappings,
alien body remains, etc.
Of course we are not talking about Canadians or people elsewhere on the earth.
The term refers to extraterrestrial beings, which are, of course, beings from other places
in space.
While my experiences may not fit in to the typical expectations, they are quite valid
to me.
First of all, I�m the primary hypnotherapist at Aloha Healing Women, which now specializes
in grief.
I created a hypnotherapy session that expanded on two way communications with another person�s
consciousness, to include conversations with conscious beings that were no longer living
in a body.
This allows one to converse with a loved one who has �walked the rainbow�, as we say
in Hawaii.
Such dialogs can be invaluable to those who are overcome with immense hurt from missing
those who have passed on.
It also helps to find answers to difficult questions, such as �why were you so angry
with me?�, or �why did you want to leave us?
How are you doing?�, and all of the �whys� to conflicts so that resolutions can be worked
out in real time.
At the end of all these sessions we do a ceremony of healing called Ho�oponopono, which actually
means to make things right by letting the past go.
This could in a sense be called an alien encounter as these beings no longer have bodies and
most of them do not retain earthbound energy.
Those who do are more likely to be called ghosts, which can also be dealt with by helping
them understand their present situation and aide them in moving on toward their spiritual
journey.
In preparation for each and every session I do with anybody for any reason, there is
a part whereby we engage a beneficial spiritual guide for the person�s highest guide to
join them in their session to give them strength, support and guidance.
This entity may be someone they know or knew, or an animal, an angel, a force of energy
such as light, a god or goddess, or a force of nature such as wind or water.
These beings have usually been at one time an earth bound being, even if they are divinely
appointed.
These conversations with �Alien� beings are for me quite common, but nonetheless,
quite remarkable for their assistance and insights.
Then there are these personal tales.
My ET Experience When I was in massage school in 1989, I had
a friend that had close friends who had been overtaken by �Walk Ins�.
So, this is a third person tale, but one I found interesting because of a later encounter
with a being similar to it.
My friend said her friend�s personalities, their uniqueness, and their human qualities
had just disappeared and had been replaced by these very aloof beings who had tremendous
healing qualities that they would use on humans by scanning people�s bodies with their combined
hands and body energies.
They would envelope a person and do a healing that was amazing and indescribable, but my
friend who had experienced couldn�t explain to me the particulars.
She said that she tried telling these �Walk Ins� that what they were doing to her friends
was very unfair to the human�s friends and family because they were missed.
They responded that it was really no concern to them; this was a temporary status and her
friends were not being harmed in any way.
She was impressed by their lack of empathy toward her and her friends.
They were matter of fact that this is what they did and nothing she could do would interfere
with their �mission�.
She lost contact with her friends and never realized the conclusion of that encounter.
My first encounter with what most people would perceive as an alien encounter was when I
was helping a client to get her beneficial spirit guide, who turned out to be from another
galaxy.
Which one?
It said it didn�t matter.
I asked why it was coming to the session and it said to me �We are just checking in on
you�� �Me?� I asked.
�Yes, we are interested in both of you and (my client�s name) progress.
I asked if it was female or male and it replied �neither�.
I asked it to describe itself and it replied in the best human terms to think of it as
a vast smoky quartz crystal with energy and knowledge beyond our comprehension.
Since we had to attend to the rest of the purpose of the session, I thanked it and continued
our quest.
As a hypnotherapist I am usually engaged in very serious therapy and don�t often get
the chance to �play� with journeys.
At one point a person volunteered to do a session where we progressed them into a future
time.
I have done this for therapeutic reasons often but never when we weren�t in search of some
kind of information.
My subject found themselves in a nonhuman form, a giant blue chubaka would be an estimate
of their physical and emotional condition.
This creature was on a planet that had three moons and it was very depressed as it was
alone because its species had died out and it was no longer in contact with other living
beings.
Knowing the outcome and the wait seemed unbearable� pardon the pun, as this wasn�t the feel
good experience for which we had come.
I simply asked if there was anything we could do to help this creature and it sighed and
said �no�, so we left this alternative reality.
How I Help Others Connect With ETs At Aloha Healing Women we include in our retreats
a modality called Complete Body and Mind Alignments where you go into a trance and, with the beneficial
spirits, you call upon help to heal an aspect of your life- physical, emotional or spiritual.
In one very rare session the subject seemed to be stretched out uncomfortably, which is
highly unusual.
CBMA�s can be awkward, but they are never actually painful.
My observations led me to ask if the guide was from another space and time, and the reply
was affirmative.
I then remembered my friends� tale of the Walk Ins, they being focused on the outcome
and not being empathetic to the human condition.
I asked the being to be gentler, that the healing could be accomplished without so much
force.
I had to repeat this about two more times and the session ended with the subject flabbergasted,
amazed and just a little bit frightened.
I have worked with many non-living beings, spirits, ghosts, etc., and to me that is the
due course of my hypnotherapy.
A few years ago I got a call from someone I had actually trained with in hypnotherapy
in 1992.
She asked if I was still into crystals, and, after mining about a ton of crystals, literally,
from Arkansas and hauling them back to Hawaii, I, of course, said yes and asked her why she
was asking.
She is the niece of a local personality named Uncle Robert.
He had experienced an encounter at his Kalapana home with what he called an alien and wanted
to create a �Landing Portal of Aloha� for extra-terrestrials and had been told he
needed to put crystals there to bring forth a light energy.
I was called upon and I donated about 150 crystals-large, small, perfect, shards, enough
to surround the circle area that was proposed to build a wall around.
There was one condition on my part � I wanted to meet with Uncle Robert myself and with
my friend Donna.
Uncle Robert was declining in health but he explained that he wanted this Hawaiian Star
Visitor Center to be open to all visitors � not only humans but, more importantly,
those from beyond our planet Earth.
I said I thought he was crazy and explained that, to open a portal to any and all, even
with the intent of the good nature of all that is ALOHA, it was like opening up a Ouiji
board and not being specific in whom you wish to make contact.
Besides, I continued, this is Puna, Hawaii, where we have travellers from around the world
who are seekers of the strange, and who are experimenting with mind altering drugs; to
just say to the universe �Come on Down� was a bit reckless, in my opinion.
It was then arranged that the Women of the Womb and I Reverend, Keala Alohakeahua Noel,
would participate in the dedication ceremony.
At the ceremony I invoked all of my fourteen Reiki guides to bless and protect this venture
and only allow those entities that could understand and respect the human condition of ALOHA enter
that circle.
The building that would protect the crystals were never built, and the crystals have since
disappeared.
Although Uncle Robert has since passed, you can visit the Hawaiian Star Visitors� Center
any time you want in beautiful Kalapana.
Have people encountered aliens there?
I don�t know.
I hear reports of experiences of spiritual encounters, yet they sound more of the kind
of that I have had in hypnotherapy.
There are more tales but that is all for now.
If you want to speak to an extraterrestrial, that can be arranged, but with the caveat
that it will be for your highest good and beneficial to your well being.
The same guidelines apply for every session I do.
I will also be training people online to do this journey work in a safe and responsible
KaLaNa method.

it's a long day and it's it's almost 6 o'clock right now 6 p.m. so I haven't 6
p.m. I usually do my videos maybe in the morning a lot of times or throughout the
day a lot of some other times ohh vlog hang getting tired boy got that vlog

shoulder here anyways so 6 6 p.m. at night I'm usually laying down at 7
passing out at 9 getting up at 5 I did not get my exercise in today then just I
just wanted to film before and now I'm gonna go to the Holiday Park in a little
bit and you know it's gonna be a late night for you but I feel like I haven't
done anything for myself today yet and I just feel like I got it I got actually
like exercise has changed my life and you know the past five years so exercise
has to go I have to exercise every day I'm sure what I'm doing that was five
days in the weight room two days outside get some fresh air
anyways we're gonna go to a holiday park in a little bit and I'm gonna film
during the workout of Holiday Park maybe after the workout at Holiday Park and I
know I'm gonna feel great I'm just gonna walk I'm gonna walk on the little park
oh I know I'm gonna feel great and let's have a good day have a good rest of this
video

right now it is 6:40 at night I've been exercising at 11 to 12 lately so this is
super late for me I'll probably I get home and get something to eat
and yeah you know it's it's harder it's harder for me to miss a workout or
exercise than it is to just going I love going today I really didn't you know I
didn't feel totally like it today but I still just went and yeah I'm totally
glad I am plus I needed to make a video to not not only just to make a video but
I was like well welcome back to video on let me make the you know this video is
gonna be on exercise the past I've only been exercising for right after like so
Martin for in almost four and a half years I've so like not even totally five
years yet and have I just been like living trying to live the juicy life or
you know be jacked and oh my god is gonna be forever yeah I just started
with exercise I'm so glad I started with the exercise that's one of the main
things like it has just changed my life hey I can't imagine going through a day
without getting this nice sweat and I mean getting you know I just keep on
looking at myself and I'm I'm changing I can see my body changing I was
overweight I have been about 315 pounds before I don't know I just estimate
because I was topping the public scales and they go to 300 I was like boom and I
was still getting fat I didn't care for months after that but I have to I have
to have my exercise every day before I started exercising five years ago I was
285 pounds just fat unhappy yeah all that stuff
okay I gotta make some moves here what this motherfucker oh my god so nice so
nice so it was nice and let me in do you believe that they but I don't know I
don't believe that at all thank you bro oh my god someone was nice and let me in
boys looking kind of juicy though huh so yeah before I started exercise and I
still can't believe that guy let me in now you're like see there's nice people
folder there are nice people in folder i'm here i'm nice oh my god
so I'm gonna make some turning moves it's what your boys got the little car
your boys making moves over here but I can tell they can't ow juicy I am from
from vlogging can't they your boys Juicy J double OC wide juicy
hahaha no I'm just fucking around right oh my god her am i no but uh my life is
gotten so much better since I start exerting and thing was how it's an hour
to myself every day that's what I get i detached I actually you know I like to
detach and I left my phone in my car and just walked around the walking Park and
thought about things for for 45 minutes and it was great it was really really
really nice so it's changed my confidence I feel better about myself
I'm getting more out of my day I'm seeing people
I'm just feeling more confident I think I'm projecting a different aura and I'm
also getting compliments from girls and guys you know that oh you're looking
good your body is looking nice you're looking Jack playing all kinds of
positive comments and I used to be told that I was fat all the time you know
when I was a kid really I really haven't been called fat since like forty
thirteen fourteen years old but man that like six to fourteen those eight years
were pretty traumatic so I'm just I'm trying to make up for those now and have
a lot of fun because those were not fun here's for your boy anyways so to hear
those positive compliments it's like you know I wasn't getting those before I was
exercising and really and I haven't worked out every single day since I
started five years ago or anything I think I just started out doing push-ups
I have a video on how I started I know I said I was gonna do a summary video
freak I should do a summary video on me someday I will someday soon I got so
many video ideas and then people asking for videos so
we'll never run out of videos so I can do daily forever so I'll eventually get
to one anyways but the exercise the exercise has been so key to everything
and now I got I got I got I gotta get an exercise in for 45 minutes to an hour
hour and 15 minutes every day I I just I love it that much and I don't care if
that can just be walking like I didn't really go too hard today I just walked
around the track I briskly walked I just I just want to get some fresh air and
that was the main thing and not lift weights because I'll lift weights every
single day oh my god I know you crazy motherfuckers will want we're Willard
we'll see where I go home so I'm going to end the vlog here Oh

And in spirit of the holidays,
I am going to review
great African-American cinematic classic,
Best Man Holiday.
- I can't tell you how good it is to have all of us
under the same roof again.
Christmas in New York.
It's gonna be great.
- We used to be best friends.

And I miss you.
- Alright, so off camera,
I am going to go wash my hair real quick.
I'm using one of my favorites,
the Alikay Naturals' moisturizing black soap shampoo.
I have not washed my hair in a minute.
I only wash my hair if I'm filming one of these videos
so it's been a while.
I'm gonna go do this and I'm gonna come back
and I'm gonna talk about the experience.
Alright, I'm back.
Almost blinded myself.
Got some shampoo in my eye but we good,
you know what I'm sayin?
God got me.
So next, I'm going to deep condition my hair
with the As I Am Hydration Elation.
You know this is a favorite of mine.
So I'm going to de condition my hair with this
and detangle.
So The Best Man Holiday is the sequel to The Best Man,
a movie that came out in like 98? 99?
99.
Featuring all, you know, the heavy hitters,
Morris Chestnut, Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Sanaa Lathan,
Terrence Howard,
lots of other people, you know what I'm sayin?
When The Best Man Holiday came out back in 2013,
I was excited.
I wanted to know what happened next in that universe,
in that story since it ended on such a high note
of Taye Diggs proposing to Sanaa Lathan
at Morris Chestnut and Monica Calhoun's wedding.
So throughout this watch & go,
I'm gonna refer to people by their actual names
not their characters' cuz
aint nobody got time.
So it's the holidays and Monica Calhoun, Morris Chestnut's
wife, has requested that everybody get back together.
That the gang get back together for a Christmas getaway
at their mansion.
At their estate, if you will.
You get the sense that since the last movie,
The Best Man, that they haven't really kept in touch
especially Taye Diggs and Morris Chestnut
for reasons that are obvious
if you watched The Best Man in 1999.
Morris Chestnut's character has always annoyed me.
You know what I'm sayin, the patriarchy's so strong
in that one.
But anyway, he's supposed to be a godly man
or family man or whatever.
So The Best Man Holiday is really just,
you know, your average sequel,
Hallmark-ish holiday type movie
centered around the stories of these people
that we all know and love from The Best Man.
And you come to find out that Taye Diggs
has some ulterior motives.
So he's trying to get the rights to Morris Chestnut's
memoir because he's about to retire from the NFL.
So that's happening during their stay.
And then during their stay,
you kind of get the sense that, oh no,
is Monica sick because she's really skinny,
she's like skinny minny.
And she has this face during the whole movie
that's like,
"Hmm, I'm really gonna miss this."
This face that's like, what is she not telling us?
I don't wanna just give a synopsis of the movie
so imma just y'all, if in case you haven't watched it,
Monica has cancer.
Everybody's devastated.
Morris Chestnut is in denial because he thinks he can just
pray your way out of everything.
Like you get what you pray for.
You can pray all you want, but
that might not be the plan.
You know what I'm sayin.
That might not be God's plan.
Or whatever.
So yeah, just about them coming together
and realizing that friendship is strong and important.
The movie itself is not that exciting.
If you didn't watch The Best Man,
there's really no reason for you to care
about The Best Man Holiday.
If you enjoy seeing a star studded cast
of black actors that just do not age,
I mean, my god.
They look exactly the same.
The only thing that changed was the fashions.
If it weren't for the fashions, you wouldn't know
that Nia Long is like 15 years older.
If you like
the soundtrack, the soundtrack was pretty great
because it's like Christmas music but like Mary J. Blige
and Fantasia.
You know, lots of oo-oo.
Lots of that.
So while I was watching The Best Man Holiday
and realizing that Monica has cancer
and not only does she have cancer,
she's terminal, I was like,
I swear to god,
if you kill Monica Calhoun,
I will leave this theater.
I can't take it.
They advertised it as a feel good reunion.
People aren't supposed to die
in holiday romantic comedies.
That's just,
that's not supposed to,
that's not, it's not okay.
What this movie really shows is that no matter
how successful or
together you may seem,
everybody has issues, everybody has their problems,
everybody is insecure, oh my gosh, the insecurity.
Morris Chestnut been holding a grudge.
You got the girl.
I can never tell Terrence Howard is acting.
"Gon 'head and sit on Santa's lap"--
Like you're too young to be playing somebody that old.
There's this weird sexual tension between Taye Diggs
and Nia Long and I'm just like,
this is too stressful.
Me and myself, personally.
This is just too much.
Alright, so I have detangled my hair with conditioner.
I forgot to put some in the back, you know what I'm sayin.
Gotta keep this moisturized even though I really should
get a haircut.
But life is hard.
Gonna go rinse it out.
and apply my leave in which is
you all know, the Camille Rose Naturals
coconut water leave in conditioner.
And then I'm gonna use this new product, LA Naturals
manuka honey and coconut curling jelly.
You know what I'm sayin, I saw the cute girls on Instagram
talking about LA Naturals so
I thought I'd give it a try and see if it works.
Oh, yes.
I've applied my leave in and this curling jelly which
I mean, it hasn't dried yet so
the verdict is still out but look at the definition though.
Yes.
So I'm liking it.
The Best Man Holiday.
I give it a
a solid three out of five, you feel me.
It's not ground breaking.
I don't need a third one.
You know,
I think things wrapped up kinda nicely.
I mean, not nicely because Monica Calhoun died but
guess who they had at her home going?
Anthony Hamilton
and Marsha Ambrosius.
And that was the point in which I kinda teared up.
You know, she brought people together again.
Forgiveness, love, mercy.
All those good, good things.
With the smooth stylings of Fantasia Barrino yelling
a Christmas carol in the background.
That's really what the holidays are all about.
So if you are looking for something
just to cut on the T.V during the holidays,
when y'all are cooking, baking,
I recommend The Best Man Holiday.
It's nice sequel to a classic and
I think you should watch it.

Brazil has only been a democracy for less than 30 years
I was born in the year of the first direct presidential election
So my generation is literally the generation of democracy
Past generations believed that once we had achieved democracy
or recovered democracy,
we would be able to resolve all our problems concerning development, inequality
and freedom here in Brazil.
But things don't get sorted out on paper.
Democracy is built on a daily basis
and you notice within a context of an imbalance of massive powers,
which means power is wielded exceptionally undemocratically.
Dilma wins in 15 states.
Aécio, in 11 and the Federal District.
That is the current state of things,
this is a political caste with very little credibility.
One that has completely lost the respect of the population,
at all levels of society.
Political parties are in utter turmoil.
And society has disassociated itself from this political caste,
which is disassociating itself from these parties,
but which never disassociates itself from politics,
this drive to participate politically.
There is very little space to channel this desire.
Survey by the research institute Datafolha,
published today by Folha de São Paulo newspaper
shows that disapproval rating for the PMBD Michel Temer government
is at its highest level since the redemocratization of Brazil.
This representative crisis that we are experiencing here in Brazil,
this mistrust of political institutions and elected representatives,
this is not something Brazil invented.
We are experiencing a global crisis in terms of representation.
And representative democracy in itself is now being questioned.
The government acts far more like an arbitrator of interests,
it is an arbitrator of relationships between existing forces.
So if you don't pressure the government to take a certain direction,
in the direction of public interests,
the government, as good as it may be, will never go in that direction.
So, in reality, it is fundamental that
we have highly organized forces
that, together, can influence the government agenda.
A right to the city!
The city changes, doesn't change!
We are the government.
This time of mistrust in representative democracy,
is the perfect time for us to try out
new forms of political participation.
In the city, the type of political decisions that need to be made,
impact the experience of being a citizen
almost immediately.
We certainly wouldn't test something so radically new
on the scale of Brazil,
that would be a little irresponsible.
But you can test it on the scale of Rio de Janeiro.
Since 2011, Meu Rio has been inspecting public authority activities
and creating opportunity for Rio's residents
City Council of Rio de Janeiro
We monitor daily here at the City Council.
We analyze the projects
and when we notice something problematic
or something good that we want to support,
we decide whether to launch a campaign or not.
On the day after the elections, we saw a really small note
in a magazine reporting that
city council members wanted to approve a project
ensuring a lifetime salary for them.
So we began to mobilize, in order to oppose this bill.
In less than 24 hours we managed to mobilize 30,000 people.
40 votes "No",
not a single "Yes" vote.
The bill was archived.
In other words, that's it, it's off the agenda...

no one can prepare you for that

because I think the first station
that was organized, came about following a request
by civil society
It is a demand from mothers, the suffering of mothers, united with Meu Rio.
Shaking up society, shaking up this sluggish state.
Nothing that a social demand,
a demand from mothers, can't manage.
Governments could be more modern, more effective, more efficient.
And use tools like civic technology,
to listen to their citizens.
It's the same for the citizens. These tools
help when making decisions that will
affect the future daily routines for them and their families.
We decided to place a priority on using information and
communication technology as a means to organize people,
because these technologies help reduce the barriers
in the way of political participation.
It is easier to gain scale
if you embrace the potential
of information and communication technology.
We have never forgotten the necessity
of people that speak to other people.
The 'Shelter Map' is a platform that offers support to victims
of sexual violence in Brazil.
They can walk in and find a map with all the services
that aid victims of violence
and they are all multi-disciplinary services.
There are voluntary therapists that treat these women at no cost
or, otherwise, lawyers that help them
get through the situation, also at no charge.
Public policies ran at a different speed
considering what these women need. They need help today.
So, something has to be done.
So, in a way, the Shelter Map also helps
us to change the reality
of services for victims of violence.
We wanted to do something for women now!
To bring an end to their suffering today.
State violence doesn't happen
throughout the entire city, or in all the neighborhoods,
nor against all the people, in the same way.
The State looks to the slums as having less claim.
A claim by a slum resident against police abuse
isn't such a big deal, it's not considered anything serious.
Here, inside this territory, we regularly come face to face
with some form of violence,
we need to understand...
find faster ways to
help ensure the situation is resolved
and many times there simply is no way of going about it.
DedeZap is a project that, using the Whatsapp platform,
provides a safe channel for reporting violent acts
by agents of the state.
Citizens can submit their complaints
and the videos and any evidence they have,
and they will be assisted by our team,
which will analyze this material
and ensure this proof goes where it needs to
so that something can be done about this violation.
This can lead to an investigation into those responsible
and into how the event occurred.
So, placing responsibility on those who violate
the rights of the population.
It includes issues such as compensation
and also deals with prevention.
Using this information
and by identifying standards,
we cross-reference case data
so that these violations are not repeated.
Since May 2016, the Defezap team
has received over 250 videos and helped refer
120 investigations on State violence.
The issue with Sancho was a territorial issue.
The community is located right up alongside the Curado prison complex.
In April 2016, Governor Paulo Câmara decreed
the disappropriation of dozens of families for the expansion of a prison complex.
We heard the news about the decree on April 4.
But we had already caught wind of this disappropriation.
The numbers that were spray-painted by city administration.
In this case, house number 16 was next.
We read in the newspaper that residents had staged an action
so they could continue live in the neighborhood.

In January this year we heard that that Dória's administration
altered a decree about urban stewardship
and that this would have a huge impact on the homeless.
They would just look around every time they passed
and leave all our things and move on.
And now they are taking everything.
And we all know that this administration is very concerned with its own image.
We produced a mini documentary telling this story properly.
Because the Metropolitan Civil Guard and other public agents
were authorized to act that way.
The case of Samir, for example, is not an isolated incident.
3.5 million people saw that.
And because of that video they issued a
regulatory directive on that
preventing the removal of belongings,
and the issue of homeless people
became a priority on the São Paulo city agenda.
When we began planning the launch of Minha Sampa,
back in May 2014,
we were after real change, something concrete,
in the way people experience the city in their daily routines.
but more important than that, it also posed the question of who the city really is for
and who makes a city.
We called on other organizations, other activists, other groups
and together came up with a series of tactics
to pressure São Paulo city administration
and create a policy
that makes Avenida Paulista
a space for co-existing.
Two years after initiating the mobilization,
the mayor (Fernando) Haddad published a note in the Official Daily Gazette,
making Paulista Aberta and the Ruas Abertas program official.
I think everyone should come.
I think it's really great meeting people from different social classes
and people from varying situations.
It is wonderful.
I think this project was of great value to the city.
For everything it generates, all the people here.
Having fun, doing business, getting the city moving.
Nossas has established itself as an activism laboratory
It is a laboratory catering to a wide audience,
people fighting for change, and getting mobilized.
One of the ways we found to share
our learning
with other groups, with other people

was to gather all this learning
on a technology platform
And this platform is called Bonde.
Our goal with Bonde was to create a space
for experiencing activism
so that people could immediately
organize volunteer actions, gatherings, protests...

that we know about mobilization
so that Bonde is more than just a website maker.
Bonde has to be a real center of mobilization
that results in digital platform
as a starting point
for organizing loads of people around a subject.
I believe that people are beginning to realize on a daily basis
that they have the opportunity, the ideas and the talent
to ensure that the challenges faced in Brazil
will be solved and
that the opportunities in Brazil will increase
I really do think Brazil has reached a state
where we all have the ability to renew ourselves.
Because, different to many other societies,
we are very vibrant,
we are a society hungry for
greater democracy.
More of the population involved in politics is never a bad thing,
it's the raw material of democracy.
I would like to see a future
where we can work together
to build more equal societies,
with more justice and possibilities.
And understand that the answer can be found through dialogue with others.
With more people involved in this process
of changing the rules of the game,
mobilizing citizens,
of transforming this into a daily routine,
well, then I really can see a brighter
future for Brazil.
