Combat Damage MTG New Player Mistake - Duration: 4:59.

New Player Mistake Number 4

Resolving combat damage incorrectly.

I know what you're saying.

Damage is damage, how am I doing it wrong.

We are going to go over that right now.

Reaching and teaching Young Mages of all Ages.

Welcome young mage I'm Rhino.

Before we get started, tell me in the comments below, what mistakes do you see new players

making?

I'd love to do a video about the mistake.

Today we are going over how to resolve combat damage properly.

I have two examples to go over.

I see this mistake all the time.

We attack with two creatures a 1/1 and a 3/3.

Our opponent has the ability to block both of them.

But they put their 1/1 to block ours and say they trade.

Then immediately put their creature into the graveyard.

They jumped from declare blockers to the combat damage step.

In a game with a high level of rules enforcement they can't block the other creature.

The combat phase is broken up into five steps.

You have to finish each step before you can go on to the next step.

And most important,

you have to allow your opponent to respond to each action before moving forward.

The two steps we are interested in is the Declare Blockers and Combat Damage steps.

The player that puts these two together, misses opportunities.

They obviously missed the chance to block the other creature.

They also gave us too much information.

They told us that they don't have any removal or boost spells for this situation.

That's good information… for us.

If you are playing a casual game, you should take the chance to teach them this mistake.

And maybe even let them take it back.

But if it's a tournament, they missed their chance.

It could cost them the game.

For the second example we are going over damage during the Combat Damage step.

All damage is resolved at the same instant.

This is important because, there's an interesting effect with Lifelink.

We are down to 2 life.

Our opponent has 2 creatures and we only have one.

They think they have us.

They swing with both thinking that we can only block one,

and we will be down to zero life.

So we block with our creature.

After blockers are declared we cast Prepare to Fight on our 1/1 creature before the Combat

Damage step.

It's now a 3/3 with Lifelink.

When we resolve the damage, the Lifelink resolves at the same instant.

Even though we lose two life, we gain three life at the same instant.

We are setting fine at three life and took out one of their creatures.

That's how damage is resolved correctly.

I know that this confuses new players.

I hope that this has been helpful to you.

How often do you see this mistake?

Is it you making the mistake?

Why do we stretch in the morning? - Duration: 1:33.

Smart Learning for All

Why do we stretch in the morning?

So that we can sleep for two more hours.

No.

Wait.

I will explain.

When we wake up in the morning, we yawn and stretch our arms and legs.

This coordinated yawning and stretching is referred to as pandiculation.

I thought it is referred to as calculation.

Just listen.

When we are asleep, we don't perform any activities.

Hence, our heart rate becomes slow and the blood flow is decreased.

Also, as many people lie in the same position for long hours, their muscles become stiff and tight.

Thus, a good stretch in the morning awakens our body.

It brings our heart rate back to normal, improving the blood flow to various body parts.

Stretching also loosens and realigns our stiff muscles, making them more flexible and ready for the day ahead.

Adjectives: -ED or -ING Ending - Duration: 3:42.

English Winners, which one is it? My wife was boring... or... my wife was bored? So I

hear these a lot, English winners: "My dog was scary." Or... "My dog was scared." One - my

dog was scary - means that maybe the dog is big and has a lot of teeth and barks

a lot. The other - my dog was scared - means that the dog felt fear... maybe because of

a loud sound, an earthquake, or another scary dog. Mixing these up can create

some confusion. So, with feelings, you use the -ED ending

with adjectives. With describing what a noun is, you use -ING. So we have this

again: "The dog is bored. The dog is boring." Or: "The wife is bored. The wife is boring."

Let's use dog... just to keep it nicer, okay? So, "The dog is bored. The dog is boring."

Which one is feeling? That's right. The dog is bored. Now, which one is describing

a lazy dog that doesn't do anything? That's right. The dog is boring. So let's

play a quick game; I'm going to say a sentence with adjectives that have

either an -ED ending, or -ING ending. If you think I'm using it correctly, I want

you to say 'CORRECT'. If you think I'm using it wrong, you can say 'WRONG' and do

the other one, okay? Let's give it a try: "After watching a movie, the movie goers

were scary." "When the man told me I could make twice as much money, I was very

interested." "The mosquito kept me awake all night with its buzzing noise.

It was very distracted." "The argument caused me to change my mind. I was

convinced." Ao let's check the answers, okay? "After watching a scary movie, the

moviegoers were scary." Wrong. "After watching a movie, the movie goers were

scared." "When the man told me I could make twice as much money, I was very

interested." That's Correct. "The mosquito kept me awake all night with its buzzing

noise. It was very distracted." Wrong. "he correct one is: "The mosquito kept me

awake all night with its buzzing noise. It was very distracting." And finally, "the

argument caused me to change my mind. I was convinced." That is Correct. Did this

help you at all? If it did, please write down in the comments below. Also, if

there's any -ED, -Y, or -ING endings you are confused about, ask me questions about

that so I can help you out. In the meantime, I invite you to check out my

advanced fluency playlist. Have a nice day, English Winners, and I will see you

later. Bye.

Design-project of an apartment with an area of 100 square meters. - Duration: 2:51.

Interior Design Studio of Yulia Sheveleva

presents a design project for an apartment of 100 square meters.

The project was named "The Lights of a Metropolis".

This is an apartment for a large family of 5 people in the city of Yekaterinburg.

The interior is made in warm colors,

and the style is chosen light and modern, not overloaded with details and decor.

The layout of the apartment has not undergone serious changes,

since most walls are carriers.

Therefore, it was necessary to fit everything into the existing volume.

Two rooms of their three are for children, and the third room is a living room.

It is divided into two zones - a rest and a bedroom with a full bed.

During the design process, the passage that connects the kitchen and the living room was closed.

The head of the family cooks a lot and the separation of the kitchen from the living room was a prerequisite.

As a result, the kitchen became isolated and separated by a door from the corridor.

One of the children's is designed for the son, with a brick and graffiti in the wall.

The second child for two daughters, executed in a light romantic style.

In the small space of the nursery it was necessary to write two beds,

A place for classes and wardrobes for storing clothes.

his channel in the description , so you know who I´m talking about,

started an editing contest

in which basically, you

have to go to his last video and check the description box

and download the twenty minutes

of video that he has left totally free.

You have to make an edit with the music you like

the style that you like and he

basically in two weeks will publish

a winner on his channel that will get a promotion

on his primary channel and

he will get too a...if I´m not wrong

I think a hat

or something for the camera of his online store that he has for free.

So I, in that moment didn´t have

anything fot editing and I said: Why not?

why don´t try it. I´ve donwloaded

all that i needed and did a cool edit

with my style and the music I like. Honestly

it doesn´t matters to me if I win or not but

it was for the experience. I had a great time making the edit.

Horror Poster Advent Calendar - Day Six - Duration: 1:21.

Welcome back to Dark Corners Advent Calendar of Horror.

You find us in the Corman gallery of Dark Corners Museum of Dark arts and cinema

for day 6 of our countdown to Christmas. And today's poster is...

Bottom line - posters are about marketing and the point of marketing

is to shove the movie's selling points in the audience's faces.

Karloff,

Price,

Lorre

and Edgar Allen Poe -

that's a killer combination.

There's even a quote from Poe on the poster in the space usually reserved for critics.

And once you've been hit in the face by that, then down at the bottom there's all this going on!

Torture, skeletons, axes, fire,

the diagonoal slant of the action draws your eye to this pretty girl in attractive disarray.

There's activity - this is a fast-paced film in which stuff happens -

and colour, it's bright and vivid -

this is not a grim, dark horror film, it's a fun one. How can you not want to see this?!

We'll be back tomorrow with more in-depth insight into your favourite Horror posters

and if you've got one you'd like us to include, let us know in the comments below.

We won't because we're shooting these 6 months early, but what the hell.

I Don't Know How To Learn Programming! - Duration: 7:06.

Hey, what's up?

John Sonmez here from simpleprogrammer.com.

Today, I'm going to be answering a question from Carl and Carl says that he can't choose

which source to learn programming from.

He said, "I found many resources to learn about web development like freeCodeCamp,"

which is a good resource, by the way, "Mozilla Developer Network, Codeacademy and etc.

My concern is that I'm having a hard time choosing which book or site I should focus

on because I keep on searching if there is a better resource for me to learn web development

that leads to craziness on what I should choose.

My question is how would I be able to pick and stay focused on a certain site or book

to learn web development?"

This is something that is kind of near and dear to my heart because so many people are

making this mistake today, Carl, not just you.

Everyone is sort of looking for this golden goose line one-stop shop for learning to become

a software developer, and that doesn't exist out there.

Not really.

I mean there are some good programs.

I've done courses for a company which I highly recommend called Pluralsight and they've got

a bunch of courses.

I've done courses there and there is a bunch of courses that will teach you a bunch of

things and there's learning paths.

There's treehouse.com.

There's, like you said, free Codeacademy, which is really a good resource or freeCodeCamp

which a lot of people have recommended.

They have paths and there's coding boot camps and what not.

What I find honestly is that what you need is that none of these resources are going

to be complete in themselves.

It's not like you're going to take one of these resources and just follow some step-by-step

process that's going to take you all the way from point A to bam, you're certified, you're

a developer and you can start writing code.

Now, some of these things will take you close to that if you follow them, but it might take

you like two years or three years.

Maybe that's not the time frame that you want to do this in, right?

Even still, is it really going to guarantee that you're going to learn everything that

you need to know?

Especially, how could they think about it this way?

There's a lot of different paths you could go in the software development world, so many

different technologies and choices.

How could they create specific learning plans that are going to take you specifically through

each one of those paths?

Now, some of them do a decent job of trying, but, ultimately, you have to realize this.

It's your responsibility for your education.

Even if you're taking going to college, even if you're going to a coding boot camp if you're

learning on your own, it doesn't matter how you're learning and whatever you're learning

in life.

You have to be ultimately the person responsible for your own education.

This is a really, really important concept to understand.

You can't just say—I think a lot of people, a lot of millennials catch a lot of this shit

today because some of them have the attitude, not all of them but some of them have the

attitude of, "Hey, I signed up for college.

I followed the program.

I did what I was supposed to do.

Where's my job?"

It doesn't work that way.

Life doesn't work that way.

Nothing works that way.

If it did—there are some things that work that way.

Maybe dental school works that way, I don't know.

I haven't been to dental school, but maybe when you come out, you pop out as a dentist

and then you can just be a dentist.

That's probably true, right?

Maybe.

The highly rewarding things in life, although dentistry is pretty reward—I guess you can

make a lot of money, but aside from that one contradiction, it's actually a lot of work

though.

The highly rewarding things in life are not easy.

You got to figure the shit out of yourself, for example, being an entrepreneur.

Really, really hard but really, really rewarding if you get it right.

There's no guide books.

There's nothing that's going to tell you exactly how to build the business from A to Z and

exactly the steps that you need to take.

Most things in life are like that.

What you got to do is you got to be really good at taking—figuring out first of all,

what's your goal?

I talk about this a lot.

I've done a lot of videos on this, but it's so important is that so many people are trying

to learn software development or learn anything is they don't have a defined goal.

They don't know what exactly they are trying to learn and trying to become.

Without that, it becomes really difficult to know what you need.

That's why you're looking.

You're like, "Just tell me.

Just give me some steps I can follow or some course I can take and at the end, I'll pop

out and be able to write code."

It doesn't work that way.

Instead, what you got to do is you got to have the goal and then you got to say, "What

is it going to take for me to get this goal?"

Then you take some pieces from here.

You go to freeCodeCamp and you take some pieces from there.

You go to Pluralsight like I mentioned before and you watch some of my courses because that—my

courses, that's right.

No.

You watch some courses on there.

You grab some books and you grab the pieces of information that you need and you don't

necessarily have to read books to cover to cover.

You don't have to necessarily watch the courses from beginning to end, except for

my courses.

You know what I'm saying?

But you don't have to do all that stuff and you don't have to complete everything

on freeCodeCamp.

Instead, what you got to do is you got to pull the pieces that you need and assemble

your own education.

That's going to be better than any education that someone else is going to assemble for

you.

A college is not going to prepare you with a four-year program for entering the job force.

It's just not going to happen today, I'll tell you this.

So many people believe that this is true.

A code camp is not going to prepare you by itself.

It's going to require some external work on your own.

You're going to have to go and grab some books and read some stuff, and do some tutorials

and do some projects on your own.

You really need to figure this out from the perspective of not which is the best resource

because it doesn't matter.

You don't even have to find the best resource.

You could use shitty resources and get a great result, as long as you're the one who is the

curator of the pieces of information that you need.

I've gotten a lot of good information from crappy resources because I'm like, "Oh.

Well, this is a golden gem here.

I'm just going to pull this out, use what I need here, and I'm going to use it."

I read hundreds of books, almost a hundred books a year and I pulled pieces from the

books.

Some of the books are total crap, but there's one gem in it and I pulled that piece out

and I used that piece.

I'm always focused on trying to create my own plan.

What is it that I'm trying to learn.

What is it that I'm trying to achieve in life and how can I grab pieces from everywhere

that I need and put together my own plan that's superior to any because I don't expect anyone

to do it for me.

I don't expect there to be a golden path that I'm going to walk down the yellow brick

road and come to—actually, I do.

If I go down the yellow brick road.

Where do you get to?

You get to the Wizard of Oz.

What is the Wizard of Oz?

He's a fraud.

He's a phony.

It's a fake dream.

That doesn't exist.

Instead, you got to piece together the pieces for yourself, but it all starts with, again,

this mindset.

You got to think about you being responsible for your own education.

All right.

I hope that helps you.

Should I go on short-term mission trips or just give? - Duration: 4:42.

(music)

The question of whether

believers, churches, individual families,

should give of their funds to help other missionaries

that are already on the field, or whether they should

plan to go themselves, is one that comes up all the time,

and it's tied very closely to the question of,

does short-term missionary teams really do any good?

What I've seen through several decades now,

of doing missions, both through short-term and career,

the answer is, yes.

In fact, my wife and I were called

through short-term missions experiences, and we have a

number of missionaries on the field right now,

who were called to missions, and career missions,

they didn't even have it on their radar screen, but they,

they received that call, and that awareness,

and that guidance through short-term mission trips.

So, it does great good, oftentimes in the form

of mission education for those who go.

Ralph Winter used to say that God can't lead you based

on information that you do not have.

And so, when you go to the field, you have this greater

awareness now, and you can come back.

You pray differently, you watch CNN differently,

you read your Bible differently, and you are

more engaged with the world.

And God uses that awareness to steer you to the field.

When you look at short-term missions, and some people say,

do they do any good?

Well, it depends on three things.

There has to be good pre-trip orientation.

You've got to know where you're going, with whom we're

going to work, the missionary has spoken into this trip,

and he's told us, here are the things you can do

that would really help us,

so this is what we're going to prepare to do.

While you're there, you've got to have good

onsite supervision, someone who knows the language,

the local testimonies, don't eat that,

yes do eat this, don't drink the water,

different things like that that can kind

of guide you through that short, focused experience.

And then thirdly, there needs to

be good post-trip de-briefing.

What did God say to me on this trip?

How could I have been better prepared?

What will I do to prepare myself for the next time?

Who will I invite to take with me?

Mission trips can be a great discipleship tool

for those who are believers, but they seem

to take that next step, both of personal involvement

in ministry, and, in what they understand about what God's

doing around the world, through these short-term trips.

At the end of the day, when God speaks to people,

through those mission trips, about how they can

be more involved in their home church, what God may

be doing, leading them to do with the rest of their life,

with the connection they make with nationals,

there's so much good that comes from short-term trips,

I would say that it is wise to go,

if God opens the door for you to go.

One specific answer to the question in closing, is,

should I take this money and give it to an international

missionary in place, or should I use it to go?

In the vast majority of evangelical churches,

that money doesn't exist.

And it doesn't come into existence until that person

says I'm going to go, and he begins to ask his mom and his dad,

or his cousins, or his sisters, or his church members,

or his neighbors to give to this mission trip,

and now the money comes together.

There was never the question of should I just

write a check for this amount of money

to send to a missionary, or go myself?

But if you had the money all heaped up, and you were

praying about it, if you do find yourself in that situation,

to whom will you give the money?

How do you know they will do what God has burdened you

to do, or what needs to be done?

Why has God made you even aware of the question?

So if God is providing resources for you to go,

and He has given you an opportunity to go and be a part

of seeing these kingdom funds

being dispersed, or seeing your mission's education

take place through this trip,

a way that you can be a better sender in the future,

my tendency is to say go.

But more than everything, seek the Lord's will in that.

How would the Lord have you to use the resources

He's given you, to be a part

of extending His kingdom around the world?

He has a purpose, He has a plan for your life,

and for all the resources that come to you.

FASTEST HACK TO GROW AVOCADO FROM SEED with Results | Growing Butter Fruit from Seed Germination - Duration: 5:28.

Hello Friends!

The next time you are slicing an avocado fruit or the butter fruit, Never throw away your

avacado seed.

You can grow a tree out of this seed!

Today am gonna demonstrate an experiment I conducted using 3 AVOCADO seeds and will show

you the fastest methods to grow avocado from seed with the results of the experiment.

Stay tuned.

Welcome back!

If you are a hobby gardener or interested in growing plants, Consider subscribing to

this channel.

Also TURN ON the notification bell icon and you wont miss anything.

The First Step you should take is: CAREFULLY EXTRACT THE AVOCADO SEED from the Butter Fruit

BY SLICING THE FRUIT carefully: Remove the seed with the peel and wash off any butter

fruit.

Here In this experiment I am using 3 seeds in different scenarios.

The First ONE by peeling off the outer thin brown layer from the seed and I will be growing

this in water and applying some hacks on this container to make it the fastest method of

growing AVOCADO in water.

The SECOND seed, without removing the peel and again growing in water

The THIRD seed , removing the peel and growing in soil here actually I used two seeds.

Well: Before starting to grow these seeds, one basic knowledge you must know is WHICH

PORTION SPROUTS THE STEM AND WHICH PORTION ROOTS.

Take a look at the seed carefully, the pointed portion sends our shoots and hence it has

to be facing upwards and the flat portion has to be immersed in soil or water.

To grow in water, I have used the same technique used by most experts, that is by using 3 toothpicks

and pricking them to the seed and suspending the seed in water and place the glass on any

window sill away from direct sunlight.

Make sure you consistently keep the seed immersed in water atleast 50 percent of the AVOCADO

seed should be in water.

This container I am gonna use it for applying some hacks to make It sprout faster.

The other two I will keep as controls, that is one without peeling the outer layer and

one set sown into the soil.

NOW HERE S THE HACK OR THE SECRET TO THIS METHOD.

AFTER THIS HACK, I will reveal the results of the experiment showing you the results

of all these 3 seeds.

So, basically what I have done is, I have consistently done 2 things to this container.

1.

Changed water every week to avoid water contamination and fungal growth and bacterial growth on

the seed.

This you will appreciate as the seed gets older.

2.

Dropped one-fourth of an ASPIRIN TABLET whenever I change water in the container, staring day

1 onwards.

The tablet Aspirin or Disprin 350 mg is easily available and contains acetyl salicylic acid

which is a great anti-inflammatory antifungal drug and also has rooting properties.

You can watch my video on ASPIRIN IN GARDENING and learn all top benefits of aspirin in gardening

from a card linked at top right corner of this video, but after you finish watching

the RESULTS of this experiment.

Well, Now Finally, Showing the RESULTS OF THIS EXPERIMENT: Normally the avocado seed

take about 60 days to sprout.

But here, you will be surprised to see the results, I am showing on the

DAY 40 , thats 20 days early.

So , here you are seeing three results: 1.

Without peeling the outer layer, there is no sign of sprouting or rooting at all.

So this is not the best method and this seed might germinate, perhaps late.

I shall share this result in my update video if I make or on my Instagram page or facebook

page where I usually post updates.

2.

Okay, now the seed grown in soil.

You can see, it has shown some good result, you can seed the shoot has started to about

an inch upwards, but when I checked the roots under the soil, there is no sign of root development

yet.

3.

Now Finally Our Aspirin wala container, you can see a good shoot to about 2 inches and

also the root development has started.

You can wait for another 2 weeks and then transplant them in a pot or ground.

So, there we have it folks, that was an interesting experiment revealing the fastest method of

growing avocado tree from seed in water using our Aspirin hack.

If you like the video, please give it a thumbs up and also comment below the video, on what

you feel.

North Korea facing savage famine that risks starving 190,000 children after UN funding cut - Duration: 3:36.

North Korea facing savage famine that risks starving 190,000 children after UN funding cut

THE UN has cut a programme that feeds 190,000 children under the age of five in North Korea

amid tightening sanctions, the World Food Programme has declared.

Funding problems led to the UN's World Food Programme ending the scheme last month, an

official has confirmed with Kim Jong-un's weapons programme leading to international

condemnation.

Cutting the programme will spark fears of malnutrition among the impoverished population.

Lim Hyoung-joon, head of WFP Korea, said: "We need an additional $14.6 million to

reach the goal.

"Once we secure the money, WFP will provide the aid to those kindergarteners."

A programme that provides food aid to pregnant and nursing women and children younger than

two will continue at a cost of $25million (£18.6million) with these groups judged to

be at a higher risk.

The decision was made to cut the programme feeding nursery children, under the age of

five, when funding was squeezed.

A recent World Hunger Index report has found that two in five North Koreans are suffering

from malnutrition while Kim Jong-un lives a lavish lifestyle and spends huge sums on

his suicidal pursuit of nuclear weapons.

However, it is feared that despite the high human cost of sanctions to his people the

despot is unlikely to return to the negotiating table anytime soon.

North Korea expert Rahul Pathak believes the country's high threshold for pain will keep

them from buckling under international pressure and sanctions.

He noted that in the 1990s as many as two million people are thought to have died during

in a famine under the dictatorship.

Pyongyang is expected to continue to pursue a nuclear-armed missile capable of striking

the US at the expense of its ordinary citizens.

Mr Pathak said: "Their thinking is and they're quite convinced about it, that the US will

respect you only if you have the ability to hurt the US back."

North Korea defector Oh Chong Song exposed the brutal impact of poverty on Kim's citizens

as he fought for his life after he escaped from the prison state.

Mr Oh, a soldier guarding the North-South border, was shot five times by his fellow

North Korean soldiers as he made his dash for freedom across the border.

He was airlifted to freedom by a US Black Hawk helicopter, coming close to death during

the long ride to a hospital, where a 10 inch parasite was removed from his intestine.

Surgeon Lee Cook-Jong said: "His vital signs were so unstable, he was dying of low blood

pressure, he was dying of shock.

"He was like a broken jar.

We couldn't put enough blood into him."

Several other parasites were found in his system.

They are usually symptomatic of the poor sanitary condition.

3D BINAURAL AUDIO IS AMAZING! - 3Dio Free Space Review (Binaural Microphone with Ears) - Duration: 5:48.

As someone who has reviewed a crapload of microphones over the years, I've always

been super interested in the audio hardware used to create ASMR content.

One of the main, "face of ASMR", mics is this one right here: The 3Dio Free Space

binaural microphone.

I was super stoked to get to check it out for myself - and while most of it I won't

share publicly, it's been a lot of fun messing around trying to create my own ASMR triggers

and play with the audio channels.

The first thing you will notice about the microphone is its striking appearance.

The Primo EM172 microphone capsules are embedded into soft silicone ears designed to look and

act like real human ears.

This contributes to the overall ability of the Free Space to pick up sound naturally

as a human would actually hear it.

3Dio has a few different models available, with better microphones on the higher-priced

ones and XLR output options.

This base model just has a standard 3.5mm output jack, a bass roll-off switch, and a

power switch.

The mic is powered by a 9-volt battery inside - though they appear to have made it difficult

to replace for some reason.

And actually, overall, I find this whole product to have a… strange design situation.

In my unboxing, I noted that the audio cable itself was just thrown in the shipping box

and was not present in the actual product box.

Plus, the cable itself is only a couple inches long - which, combined with the weird placement

of the audio jack and completely inflexible mounting options, can make it difficult to

connect to a recorder.

You can use your own longer audio cable, of course, but it just seems weird.

The bottom of the microphone box features a standard microphone stand mount.

But you can't change it, you can't mount if from the top, or do… anything… with

it, without rigging something custom yourself.

I just feel like this kind of setup should be more flexible or adaptable.

Especially since - while intimate ASMR settings are a great use for this mic and all - a really

awesome use case for this mic would be getting audio out in nature or in big groups of people,

and situations like that with a mobile rig really need more mounting options.

Running and gunning with the mic would be much less noisy if it was mounted from the

top.

It is small and lightweight, though.

But how does it sound?

You're hearing it now.

As a vocal microphone, it's kind of thin.

Using the bass roll-off switch helps avoid unpleasant sounds to the ears, but further

loses any coloration to the sound.

This is great for real-world, bigger-picture soundscapes, but for normal talking levels

it can require some processing to truly sound "natural", to me at least.

The binaural effect is pretty good.

For one-on-one stuff like this, you're not going to notice the separation effect anywhere

near as much unless you get right up on top of it.

It's amazing for bigger-picture real-world sounds, however.

The key factor here is the mic's ability to remain low-noise so you can bring up whispers

and soft sounds without a noise floor.

There's still some light hiss to this mic with most recorders I've used, but it's

much better than what you'd get trying to just strap two cheaper mics side by side or

using the Blue Yeti's stereo mode for this.

I imagine the XLR model has even less self noise.

The 3Dio Free Space binaural microphone provides an entry point into the binaural or 3D audio

space that doesn't break the bank anywhere near as much as their higher-tier models or

other products I've seen, but still provides a competent setup.

I just wish the chassis itself had more mounting options and was a bit more flexible in nature.

Homemade bread: the tastiest Italian recipe by chef Bianco - Duration: 7:28.

Hi everybody, I'm Salvatore Bianco chef in the Romeo Hotel in Naples,

"Il Comandante" restaurant. Today we're presenting one of my breads

usually served inside the restaurant,

a white bread. The dough is very sweet and soft, that acconpanies the whole meal.

The dough is indirect, so at the base of the preparation is a "biga".

The ingredients for the first dough are: semolina, flour, water and brewer's yeast.

The ingredients for the second dough are: semolina, flour, water, brewer's yeast,

malt and salt. Let's start right away by adding inside the

stand mixer our brewer's yeast. Let's add some flour and try

to make it as powdery as possible. This will help us dissolving

the brewer's yeast while making the dough. Let's add water

As soon as the yeast is dissolved, we're adding the other part of the flour and the semolina

Bigas normally require a quite strong flour. The final temperature

of the dough shouldn't normally be above 22°C and the biga should never turn

for too long inside the mixer, right in order to avoid

the overheating, so the increase in the temperature of the dough.

We're now adding semolina. In this case, as well, we're using a re-milled semolina,

very fine.

Ok, now our biga is done. We're kneading it a bit more

with the hands

and we're letting it raise. More than raise, we're letting it ferment. The fermentation

of the biga shouldn't last less than 12-13 hours at a temperature of about

22 degrees, at the highest.

The ideal temperature goes from 18 to 21°C. Let's see the second dough. Here's

the result of our biga after 14 hours of fermentation. The dough will be

very soft and leavened. This is the final dough. The fragrances are

pleasant. Let's start with the second dough. We're adding

like before, our yeast inside the stand mixer. We're helping ourselves with

some flour, so to make the yeast itself a bit lighter and finer, mixed

with the flour, again. We're adding malt to give fragrance and

colours to the dough, and water. As soon as all of the ingredients will be well

combined, we're adding our biga.

We're waiting for the liquid part to incorporate with the solid one, in this

case, the biga. When it starts to become well blended,

we're adding the two other solid parts, in this case re-milled semolina and

flour. The total time for the kneading is about 20 minutes. We're adding

salt in the final part of the kneading as it inhibits

the raising, it slows the raising down, so it's fundamental not to add it

from the beginning and give the chance to prevent it from working against the yeasts

contained inside the dough. From time to time, we're breaking the dough

in order to make it uniform.

After about 20 minutes, the dough will be done. We're removing it from the machine

and working it a bit more on the table. Then we're letting it raise again

for 8 hours.

The dough should be covered with a film and in this case, as well,

the recommended temperature for the raising is about 20°C.

Here is our dough after the raising. At this point, we're

starting to cut our bread. You can notice the elasticity and the air that was added.

We're making small loaves of about 150 gr.

We're rounding them a bit.

At this point, we're starting to prepare our molds.

We're adding some re-milled semolina on the base of the mold. This

will allow the bread to create some crust. We're letting our loaves raise

some more, for about six to seven hours.

Here is the final result after the leavening. We're taking

a tray, possibly drilled and nonstick, and spray the base again with

some re-milled semolina, again.

The loaf. Some more semolina. Then we're putting it

in the oven. The oven is pre-heated at 200°C, let's now put it in.

We're keeping it in for about 20 minutes, the temperature obviously stays constant

but the time can be variable according to the oven we're using.

We took our bread out of the oven. We're moving it inside a gunnysack

and leaving it there for about 10 minutes, so that all of the humidity released after

the cooking can be absorbed from the jute itself. After 10 minutes, we're taking

our bread out of the jute. As you can notice from the crust, it's

very crispy. We're cutting it.

Here's our bread. As you can notice, the inside is very very soft,

very fluffy. The fragrance is great, really tempting!

I hope I was able to pass on you the concepts to let you make my bread at home

I'll be back soon, with another recipe! Thanks a lot!

Innovetica-Tipps #1 - Duration: 1:39.

Hello and welcome to the Innovetica tips!

This is Andy and I am Manu.

Every player uses a deck of 20 cards.

First... ...Shuffle!

Then lay down 4 cards on the table facing up.

The player who's turn it is lays their cards next to each other.

Only matching symbols may be connected.

Empty borders can also be connected to empty borders.

Or to symbols.

But this does not earn you points.

All the cars played during a turn must be connected to each other

These two correct symbol connections give one point each.

So, Manu can give herself 2 points now.

At the end of a turn you redraw cards to fill up your hand with 4 cards.

There are also cards with more points on the symbols.

When adding points up, the lower value counts.

In this example, we have 3 points for Manu.

This card has a stash symbol.

The player who closes the last connection gets the stash points.

In this example she gets two additional points for the closed stash card.

And last, there is the diversity bonus.

If you create 3 or more connections of different symbols, you get a

diversity bonus.

The diversity bonus is always 2 points.

This makes her turn worth 5 points.

This is all for now!

Have fun!
