yo how's it goin everybody my name is Adam welcome back channel or video I
hope you're having a fantastic day today I'm having a fantastic day so far I was
intact today back home right now the reason why I'm starting the vlog nying
up when I was going to tech is because today I'm doing a comprehensive review
on a slow-motion camera I'm really excited to do this I've always really
wanted to shoot a proper like you know proper slow motion with this is a
Panasonic camera I'm gonna be showing you guys all the stuff with this camera
this most of this vlog today is gonna be based around this camera and then
whatever I'm doing today so if you're not really interested in click away and
then come back tomorrow's video but today all based on this super slow
motion camera it's gonna be good
bubble wrap freakin amazing I feel like it's about to rain right now I like the
sky is just about to open so I'm gonna test one of two variables right now with
the slow-motion camera which is in my bag I'm gonna be doing a test today on
two specific variables one of them is slow-motion quality the second is
performance in low-light because some cameras go supergranny in low-light
whatever happens I'm gonna show you guys how this performs just to see what you
think of it so I don't open this thing up right now this is it here it's a
Panasonic HC v 750 right there so I guess I opened this up
test the slow-motion and cue the shot
so that was just a little quick preview of the slow motion camera what it can do
I'll be using it more in this vlog because I want to test that a night time
one test that endured just to see all its capabilities whenever I do like
b-roll shots in the vlog I will combine the slow-motion camera along with this
camera and all the slow-motion best your guys will be able to see the quality of
this camera like it's something like 24 megapixels which is unreal I have no
worries about the megapixels in this camera one of the most really good
things I like about this camera it's not even technical it's more of a hardware
solution by much feldman with this camera and there's you know a light
Missoula rain the rain gets on the lens the lens has to be cleaned well this
won't look at this I turn this on it moves down okay and then I close it turn
it off it covers the lens for you how good is that in terms of daylight
footage I really don't know how this is gonna look until I put it on to the
computer because I don't trust this monitor on any camera the monitor never
error looks what it looks like on the computer and even trying it in different
monitor there's a whole thing with monitors so I don't trust the viewfinder
in the camera it never really does it right so I'm gonna wait till I get home
before I actually judge this footage but of course you guys already seen it so if
it looks amazing it looks amazing doesn't it doesn't
you see for me whenever I'm testing slow motion capabilities I try and find
things that are moving really fast like birds playing for the sky cars driving
really fast past me and they just look generally really cool whenever you slow
them down but there's one thing I want to try which is vape I don't know what
it is but vamp just looks really really cool in slow motions birds flying all
over the place right now I could've been got I could have got that shot so what
I'm gonna do is I'm gonna head to the vape store ask the guys maybe blue a few
Chloe's blue some like trucks or whatever with a vape you guys might
enjoy this but I have always wanted to see what it's like in like super slow
motion today's today one of the main things that I really like about this
camera like there's so many things I like about it so far but I will talk
about the cons as well as the pros later in the vlog all the things that I
discovered it has motion or image stabilization which means the land's
moves aren't inside much like my handy cam bells and it gives you this really
nice smooth shot that's also recorded it in slow motion
like what
alright guys that is that for the daytime cinematography slash test of the
slow-motion capabilities of the slow-motion Panasonic camera but right
now I'm heading to the vape store this next test is going to be the
capabilities of the camera indoors with like fluorescent lights and see how it
handles that's it any shutter lag plus vape looks pretty psycho it's in slow
motion plot that it's starting to get dark right now as well so the time I
come out of the vape store we might be able to test the low-light capabilities
which this is the Loon light capabilities is the one I'm super
interested in because how much Fellman at night I need to know that I can get
slow-motion that is not looking like sandpaper
so guys been the vape store and I the renovation in here every time there's
just something else going on today they got LED lights look at this this is
freaking amazing they've got a remote they can change them it got LED lights
under here which is really cool this cush right here it's the guy who owned
all this doji unfortunately he was over here you had no way well this place is
gonna be really good also Black Friday sale and here on
tomorrow Thursday and Friday and Saturday as well this is your really
capital naked-eye sale all this stuff's on sale I might call and see what the
story is all right so we're here for slow motion who's getting distracted
slow-motion shots three two one
oh so that was the P rule in here really hope you guys enjoyed that a lot of work
into that b-roll was a lot of slow motion soft key over here and cush and

test this camera in the dark right now it is currently dark outside so now
we've tested the daytime footage with tests at the end or footage now we're
going to test the then we're going to test the nighttime capabilities of this
camera the blue light capabilities the seer the ISO handles I'm not really sure
how good the sensor is in this camera yet so that I shall test right now
four days later right now for whenever I last vlog I'm here I know in my heart
and I hadn't known it for days the sort of worker I am in the slow motion camera
slow motion camera if you really call it a slow motion camera it was more of a
ham quarter that had a slow motion capability it was a really cool camera
the pros annoyed this camera the things that I really really liked first thing I
liked was the fact that it does slow motion I like the footage at night the
photos at night was okay I can deal with it for maybe like Phelim stander though
it's about too grainy for my liking it's lighting off it's not to have a can go
in your bag no problem I really like the slow motion capability of this camera it
was really nice but that moves me on over to the cons of this camera the cons
is whenever the thing gives you a slow motion file it gives you it like this
this is the slowdown version this is what the camera outputs to you whenever
you get it it looks like this it's already slowed down so I don't know how
much this is slow at night if I want to run up the normal footage I can't do
that also when it's in slow motion mode it doesn't record any sign whatsoever
it's completely silent just gives you the slowdown clip but that slept that as
I'd put it is I'd put in slow dying at 50 frames per second which means if I
wanted to I could slow that down even more I'll explain how slow motion works
and how frames per second works right now you see how video works is it's a
bunch of photos compiled together to make a video basically it's like fast
stop-motion the camera already does this for you to say this is your video
timeline right here this is whenever you're taking it'll be broke up into
different photos average camera record 25 frames per second now what frames per
second mean is the amount of photos per second in your video say this is a
second and there's 25 here there's not really 25 here but just for the sake of
argument say there's 25 here per second and video mode your camera will take 25
photos per second which means in every second of your video there will be 25
photos squash together give you like a moving image so horse slow motion works
that there's 25 lines here they each one of these lanes is a photo so whatever
you slow down a clef you spread out these frames you stretch them across the
timeline and that gives you from one floor to the other really really slow so
all the kind of CHOP it will look something like this see how this is kind
of choppy with my hands because this is 25 frames per second footage and it's
just it's not able to handle how far I've slow
this dine so back to normal footage right now let's explain what makes this
camera great or any slow-motion camera great instead of taking 25 photos per
second a good slow-motion camera will take at least 120 frames per second so
whenever you stress that all right they're still quite close together and
the footage doesn't look choppy it'll look very fluid and smooth but 120
frames per second then is maybe spread out to your average 25 frames per second
I hope that makes sense if it doesn't make sense come back watch it again and
it should make sense another thing I liked about this camera was the fact
that it was pretty cheap in terms of what a slow-motion camera is so this
camera cost around 200 pounds 200 pounds with two extra batteries that came along
with it from the shop we got it and it was from like a secondhand shop if this
camera sitting with two extra batteries and the pack another con here thing
about this camera is batteries are fortunate like a hundred pound for one
battery there's new all the versions of this battery we looked everywhere we
couldn't find any Chinese knockoffs anything probably doesn't exist that
matter if we didn't look hard enough but we just couldn't find the batteries
which is okay it's kind of a shame if we want an extra battery we have to spend
another hundred pound and this kit that comes with like a charger and like
another case of carry case or something like that but it did come of to spare
batteries which is a plus it was a really good deal let me explain price
range and how the frames per second go off change with cameras okay the more
frames per second the camera can take this is what I've noticed say this is
your frames per second say right up here is one thousand nine here would be 25 up
here may be 120 down here maybe six in a 2d camera I'm using right now is within
this range here one thing I did notice in correlation as the frame per second
the capability of the camera the price also goes up so the graph will look
something like this will go off very fast so the LED my camera right here is
around a thousand fine that will be your sexy frames per second slow motion
camera or good camera can record a lot of frames per second let's just say the
1d act mark two that will be around the 6000 phone trace and then a camera that
can record maybe even two hundred thousand frames per second way up here
you're looking at begging money say this phantom camera that's phantom user1 the
slow mo guys use that'll be like up and it'll be a lot a morning or slow motion
camera but what we've noticed with this camera is it's an anomaly is a low price
for say 200 fine but it also gives you that hundred
frames-per-second right here that's what I like about this camera a little
quality is nowhere near as good as this camera right here I wouldn't even say a
comparison because you can't have different lenses and stuff on to it the
book one of the things I should say is you do get that slow motion and that's
what I was looking for slow motion so if you're like me and you're like super
into cameras this will make a lot of sense you'll understand that this is
like an anomaly in terms of slow motion because the price it was like 200
playing and I just slotted right under that 120 frames per second mark and then
even again you can slow down the footage if you want even more and the camera
right in the camera right in the interface of the camry has slowed down
even more and that will slow the footage down maybe twice as much and then you
can export that again as a 50 frames per second footage which you can then slow
down again so you can have hyper slow motion I don't even know how many frames
per second and then I would say it's more than 120 and the resolution is
1080p which is great for me that is something I was really interested in
personally whenever I first seen this camera I was like Panasonic what this
isn't gonna be any good I was really doubting Panasonic for the capabilities
but damn did they pull it right out of the bag just a little bit of resolution
for that really good footage slow motion go for this camera by all
means I'll leave a length of this camera in the description if you want also that
camera works as a video camera as well so you can record normal footage it's
not only for slow-motion I really shouldn't call it a slow-motion camera
the back the door slow motion and slows it down to that extent that's why I kept
calling it that because it's like whoa this thing is for real on that guy's I'm

plus there's a light in the front of the camera you can turn on if you're in the
