There's something a little different about this year's White House Christmas card.
President Trump and First Lady Melania made sure to wish everyone "Merry Christmas"
this year, in a conspicuous departure from the politically correct Obama years.

The White House ditched the politically correct 'Season's Greetings' to put Christ back
in Christmas.
The card, signed by the President, First Lady, and their ten-year-old son Barron, says simply,
"Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
The Obamas used "Happy Holidays" last year in their final White House Christmas
card.
Twitter erupted with joy at the news that the White House wasn't afraid to say "Merry
Christmas.
It was all Bah-humbug for conspiracy theorists who suggested the First Lady had been forced
to imitate the president's handwriting.
The odd criticism was in keeping with the patronizing tone liberals have adopted when
speaking about the First Lady since Trump took office.

The First Lady pulled out all the stops this year to make the White House look like something
out of a fairy tale.
First Lady of the United States decorated the White House in a classic style with the
theme "Time-Honored Traditions.
"The President, Barron, and I are very excited for our first Christmas in the White House,"
the First Lady said in a statement.
"As with many families across the country, holiday traditions are very important to us.
I hope when visiting the People's House this year, visitors will get a sense of being
home for the holidays.
A video posted to Melania's Twitter shows the extent of the sumptuous decorations, which
included a beautiful, 300- pound gingerbread White House.
Here, too, critics found something to Grinch about.
Melania was roundly mocked by joyless prigs on Twitter, who savaged just about everything
from the First Lady's outfit to one particular hallway that, some compared to horror movies
like The Shining.
Others pointed out her rigid pose as she watched a trio of ballerinas perform "The Nutcracker
Suite.
Making Christmas Great Again.
Speaking to a crowd at the Value Voters summit in Washington last month, Trump promised to
"stop cold the attacks on Judeo-Christian values", and vowed to be a fighter in the
War on Christmas:
"We're getting near that beautiful Christmas season that people don't talk about anymore.
They don't use the word Christmas because it's not politically correct," he said
to cheers.
"You go to department stores and they'll say 'Happy New Year, or they'll say other
things and it'll be red, they'll have it painted.
"Well, guess what?
We're saying 'Merry Christmas' again" he concluded.
Trump has repeatedly promised a cultural climate friendlier to "Merry Christmas" than years
of political correctness have permitted.
For instance, he mentioned at a campaign stop in January 2016 the absence of references
to Christmas in department stores.
With this year's White House Christmas card, Trump seems to have kept his promise,

Firstly, Luke is unlikely to be the father.
The Force Awakens took a strikingly similar path to A New Hope.
The upcoming, The Last Jedi is likely to follow similar themes to The Empire Strikes Back
and Return of the Jedi.
An unveil of Luke as the father is not dramatic and inconsistent with lore.
Secondly, in the trailers, Luke takes on the role of mentor.

The fact that he slipped and called Daisy Ridley* his daughter was a clear red herring.
As for Kenobi, I also find that highly unlikely.
As a middle schooler, I loved reading Star Wars books, and a Kenobi child is even more

But a granddaughter is very possible.
After the traumatic events of Order 66 and Obi-Wan's exile, it is not unlikely that
he had children.

of Rey's British accent.
However, the accent is purposeful, while the Leia Skywalker accent is accidental.

While Rey Skywalker seems obvious, Rey Kenobi would be a well positioned fit.
As much as I enjoyed and was initially enraptured by MatPat's theory, Rey Solo is neither
obvious nor well positioned in light of the evidence.

Earlier today, President Trump called for an investigation into the death of Lori Klausutis,
a 28-year-old staffer for then-Congressman Joe Scarborough.
Many Morning Joe viewers probably have forgotten, or never knew, that the body of a female aide
was once found in Scarborough�s Congressional office.
Investigators quickly saw that a blow to the head, delivered accidentally or intentionally,
was involved in Lori Klausutis� death.
There are also some serious questions as to the mental competency of the doctor who performed
the autopsy, as well as an important question about why there was no time of death recorded
on his autopsy.
Trump was once �friends� with Scarborough, and he was in the same social circles as the
�Morning Joe� host.
So, when the president tweeted about his one-time friend, the mainstream media went nuts.
�So now that Matt Lauer is gone when will the Fake News practitioners at NBC be terminating
the contract of Phil Griffin?
And will they terminate low ratings Joe Scarborough based on the �unsolved mystery� that took
place in Florida years ago?
Investigate!� Scarborough has denied any involvement in
the intern�s death.
The Morning Joe host responded to President Trump�s tweet Wednesday morning.
�Looks like I picked a good day to stop responding to Trump�s bizarre tweets.
He is not well,� Scarborough tweeted.
�Accidental death was the official finding in the Klausutis case, with a cardiac arrhythmia
causing her to fall and hit her head on a desk.
But the recent discovery of human remains at a storage unit in Pensacola, Florida, casts
doubt on that ruling.
That�s because the storage unit was rented by Dr. Michael Berkland, the man who conducted
the Klausutis autopsy 11 years earlier,� reports 100% Fed-Up.
The story is confirmed in the Daily Mail, which says Berkand is facing felony charges,
and it questions his sanity at the time, which makes the autopsy of Scarborough�s intern
suspect.
�What would cause a seemingly healthy young woman, an avid runner, to collapse and lose
consciousness, unable to break her fall?
Berkland rules out some of the common causes of such an event � a pulmonary embolus,
a brain hemorrhage, a ruptured aneurysm, drug issues,� 100% Fed-Up adds.
Berkland concludes cardiac arrhythmia.
Now, this is a pretty ambiguous result for a woman her age, being in great physical shape.
We aren�t alluding Scarborough in foul play, but it�s strange that he ended his promising
career as a U.S. Congressman five months into his 4th term, suddenly resigning just weeks
after this woman was found dead in his office.
His reason?
The classic �in order to spend more time with his children� excuse.
At the time, the big story was a missing woman named Chandra Levy, Democrat U.S. Congressman
Gary Condit�s missing ex-intern, who disappeared while jogging.
She was Condit�s lover.
So, viewers heard next to nothing about Joe�s intern, a healthy 28-year-old woman who was
found dead in his Congressional District Office in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
Why would Trump bring it up?
It could be he has no insider knowledge at all and is just trolling Scarborough, who
has been on a year-long tirade lying about the president with his sidekick and fiance
Mika Brezinski.
Whatever is the truth, the case is certainly interesting and one most Americans have never
heard of, and if there is something that needs to be re-investigated, it should be this.
No one is above the law.

Obama Spending Costs Revealed, Over $114 Million in Vacations and Hillary Campaigning - Duration: 4:00.
Former President Barack Obama infamously spent large amounts of taxpayer dollars on vacations
and family outings, but until recently, an exact amount was not available due to refusals
by certain groups to disclose their records.
However, a Freedom of Information Act request and subsequent lawsuits filed by Judicial
Watch resulted in the disclosure of U.S. Air Force and the Secret Service documents showing
that the Obamas spent $9,028,346.90 on non-work related travel.
When added to the previously reported tab of $105,662,975.27, the total cost of personal
travel expenses during Obama's presidency amounted to $114,691,322.17.
These additional records showed that over the course of just one weekend in February
of 2014, Obama family vacations cost the Secret Service $272,192.91.
Those costs included Michelle Obama's annual trip to Aspen with daughters Sasha and Malia,
which amounted to $6,970 in air/rail expenses, $5,614.99 in car rentals, and $76,078.30 in
hotels for a total of $88,663.29.
Meanwhile, the former president was on a golfing trip to Palm Springs, which cost $10,951 in
air/rail travel, $10,166.79 in car rentals, and $162,411.80 in hotels for a total of $183,529.62.
The records also revealed how much taxpayer funding went toward campaigning for 2016 presidential
candidate Hillary Clinton.
In fact, during the campaign, the former first lady made two trips to North Carolina to stump
for the Democratic candidate.
For both trips, she took a C-40C military jet, which operated at $5,312 per hour, racking
up an Air Force bill of $40,902.40.
The records also indicated that during his second term, Obama spent more than $7 million
in taxpayer money to fly to his hometown of Chicago.
And, unfortunately, his taxpayer-funded trips did not end with his administration.
In fact, post-presidency, Obama has spent nearly $2 million in taxpayer money on travel
expenses, according to the Secret Service documents.
The details of those trips, however, were redacted due to concerns regarding "privacy"
and "law enforcement."
Judicial Watch had to sue for these records after the Air Force and Secret Service did
not respond to its public records requests in time, as required by law.
The organization's president, Tom Fitton, criticized both government groups for their
failure to produce the information.
"It shouldn't require federal lawsuits to…prod the Secret Service and Air Force
to produce information about the costs of presidential travel—whether the travel is
necessary or not, it's a massive amount of money," he said in a statement about
the report.
"We will continue to monitor this spending while taxpayers continue to pay the bills
for presidential travel."
Taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill for travel that isn't necessary to carry
out the duties of the presidency.
With an insurmountable national debt already burdening future Americans who haven't even
been born, our leaders should be cautious about overspending, especially for personal
reasons.

Rev. Graham Responds to Matt Lauer Sex Scandal, "It's not Misconduct, It's Sin" - Duration: 3:01.
While many responded with scorn to the news Wednesday that NBC had fired "Today" show
anchor Matt Lauer over allegations of "inappropriate sexual behavior," the Rev. Franklin Graham
instead took a moment to remind everyone to be mindful of their own sins.
"What we're seeing in the recent string of what is termed 'misconduct' really
boils down to a morality issue — people failing to follow God's standards, and that
is called sin," the famed son of the Rev. Billy Graham and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic
Association wrote in a Facebook post.
"The Bible tells us, '…be sure your sin will find you out,'" the post continued.
"This is a warning to all of us to examine our lives.
That doesn't just apply to movie stars, media personalities, and politicians, but
to everyone.
One sin leads to others and can have a great impact on our own lives and the lives of those
around us."
"Sin has devastating consequences — here on earth, and for eternity.
But God is anxious for us to come to Him in repentance and ask for His forgiveness and
help.
True healing comes through trusting Jesus Christ in faith and following Him as the Lord
of our lives."
Graham's point wasn't that people shouldn't be angry with Lauer, because they certainly
should, but rather that Christians — and all humans, really — ought to prioritize
ensuring they themselves live righteous lives versus obsessing over the faults of others.
Lauer's own history provides a perfect example of this point.
As noted by The Daily Wire, during an interview months earlier with former Fox News host Bill
O'Reilly, Lauer harangued the 68-year-old political commentator over the allegations
of sexual "misconduct" against O'Reilly, essentially accusing him to his face of being
guilty.
"Think about those five women and what they did," Lauer said to O'Reilly.
"They came forward and filed complaints against the biggest star at the network they
worked at.
Think of how intimidating that must have been, how nerve-wracking that must have been."
"Doesn't that tell you how strongly they felt about the way they were treated by you?"
he then asked.
The irony of Lauer's remarks were not lost on radio host Rush Limbaugh, who Wednesday
afternoon wondered, "What went through Matt Lauer's mind when he asked these questions?"
"'We got you, Bill, we got you … and I've been doing everything you've been
doing, Bill, and I'm still here, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha,'" Limbaugh said, imagining Lauer's mindset.
The point, again, is that instead of harping on O'Reilly over allegations he sexually
harassed women — allegations he continues to deny, I might add — Lauer should have
been examining his own life and coming to terms with his own culpability.
And to be clear, Lauer isn't claiming to be innocent, as he himself admitted in an
apology statement released Thursday morning.
As the age-old adage goes, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Une soirée exceptionnelle.
Laventure Secret Story 11 touche presque à sa fin.
Ce jeudi 30 novembre 2017, NT1 diffusait la demi-finale.
Alain, Laura, Barbara et Charlène étaient en danger, tandis que Noré était assuré daller en finale.
Et, pour la première fois depuis le début de lémission, le public a pu dire en direct ce quil pensait des candidats.
Retour sur le prime ! Kamila de retour Tout au long de la semaine, les habitants se sont affrontés pour une place en finale.
Finalement, cest Noré qui la obtenue mais pour cela, il a dû nominer sa femme Kamila.
Résultat ? Elle a quitté la Maison des Secrets hier soir.
Et ce soir, la belle Marseillaise était de retour pour sexprimer sur son départ.
Le plus dur a été de quitter Noré, a-t-elle confié dans un premier temps.
Après quoi, elle a expliqué que selon elle, le public ne voulait pas voir un couple aller en finale.
Kamila a ensuite découvert un magnéto de Noré en train de pleurer après son départ.
Difficile donc pour elle de retenir ses larmes.
Puis, La Voix lui a fait une proposition : choisir lhabitant quelle voulait priver dun buzz gratuit.
Sa réponse ? Alain.
Mais ce que lon a surtout retenu, cest quelle a failli.

Alain et Barbara dévoilent leurs secrets Grâce à Kamila, tous les habitants, à lexception dAlain, ont bénéficié dun buzz gratuit à utiliser au cours de la soirée.
Les secrets dAlain et Barbara étaient donc plus que jamais en danger.
Mais seul le jeune homme a été buzzé.
Laura a déclenché lalarme des secrets car elle pensait que son petit ami était un célèbre compositeur de musique espagnole.
Charlène supposait quant à elle que cétait un grand humoriste en Espagne.
Barbara jugeait quil était un célèbre animateur radio et Noré quil était une star internationale de la corrida.
Personne ne layant trouvé, Alain a dévoilé son secret qui est : Je suis une star de la télévision à létranger.
Les habitants ont découvert des images de sa participation à une émission de télé-réalité espagnole.
Manque de chance, certaines le montraient très proche dune jeune femme.
Et Laura nen a pas loupé une miette.
Barbara a ensuite dévoilé son secret : Mon destin est lié à celui dun habitant (qui était Bryan).
Les diables de la Maison Noré et Laura ont été associés afin dêtre les diablotins de la Maison des Secrets.
Tous deux avaient pour but de rendre fous leurs colocataires durant une semaine.
Tous les coups étaient alors permis.
Poivre sur la brosse à dents, jeu du perroquet.
ils étaient inspirés.
Mais leur mission a pris fin ce soir puisque La Voix a dévoilé la supercherie à Alain, Barbara et Charlène.
Sauf que Noré et Laura étaient au confessionnal pendant ce temps.
Ils ne savaient donc pas que leurs colocataires avaient reçu la mission de se venger.
Dès leur retour au salon, La Voix les a freezés.
Leurs camarades ont alors pu les entarter, pour 500 euros.
Sans surprise, Laura était furieuse contre Alain, le seul à avoir osé lui mettre sa tarte à la figure.
La parole au public Depuis plusieurs mois, les candidats ne savaient pas réellement ce que le public pensait deux.
Mais La Voix a accepté quil donne son avis sur chacun dentre eux à travers des sondages dévoilés en direct sur la page Facebook de lémission.
Aussi a-t-on appris que 59% du public pense que Noré na pas eu tort de mettre sa femme en danger pour une place en finale.
79% des téléspectateurs pensent que le couple Alain/Laura et sincère, 71% que Charlène est plus joueuse depuis lélimination de Benoît et 68% que le mot qui qualifie le mieux Barbara est Colomba, contre 32% quil sagit du mot agaçante.
Autres sondages : 59% du public pense que le mot qui résume le mieux Noré est emboucaneur, 65% quAlain ne sest pas caché derrière Laura pour avancer, 73% que Laura est plus joueuse que poissonnière et 76% de Charlène était plus suiveuse que Barbara.
Selon 45% des téléspectateurs, Noré serait allé plus loin dans le jeu sans Kamilla, la compatibilité dAlain et Laura est de 7/10, selon 57% Charlène a choisi le bon clan et 57% pense que Barbara a trop joué avec son physique dans laventure.
Charlène reine du bluff Laura, Charlène et Barbara ont été soumises à un dilemme.
Devant chacune se trouvait une carte bleue et une rose.
Si toutes sortaient une carte de la même couleur, leur cagnotte ne changeait pas.
Dans le cas où lune delles sortait une carte différente de celle des autres, elle remportai lintégralité des trois cagnottes, soit 5 554 euros.
Après une petite discussion, elles avaient décidé de sortir la même couleur.
Mais Charlène a bluffé et a donc remporté tout largent.
Autre dilemme, un décompte leur faisait perdre de largent.
Pour tout stopper, lun deux devait appuyer sur buzzer noir, un choix qui nétait pas sans conséquence.
Rapidement, Charlène sest lancée vers le buzzeur.
Elle a donc pu répartir lintégralité de la cagnotte de Noré entre les habitants de son choix.
Sans surprise, elle sest donné le plus de sous.
Futures fiançailles pour Benoît et Charlène Dernier dilemme, La Voix a offert une possibilité à Noré de revoir Kamila ce soir.
Mais Benoît souhaitait aussi faire une annonce à Charlène et lui a demandé de lui permettre de la voir.
Le Marseillais devait donc décider qui de Benoît ou lui allait revoir sa moitié.
Il a finalement accepté que son ami revoit Charlène.
Chaque seconde avec lui coûtait 100 euros à la cagnotte commune quelle partageait avec Laura, Barbara et Alain.
Jai encore plus de certitudes sur mon amour pour toi.Tu es la femme de ma vie.
Je pense aux fiançailles.
Ça va arriver vite, a confié Benoît à Charlène.
Leur rencontré a coûté 4 500 euros Les finalistes de lémission sont.
Barbara, Laura, Alain et Charlène sont allés dans le sas en fin démission.
Après plusieurs minutes de suspense, cest Alain qui a quitté laventure.
