remember last week's sketchbook tour?
I promised you i would make a sketch collage of my studio.
Well, here we go!
Well, I just got myself a coffee, so that's right in front of me - so I'll draw the
paper cup.
Doesn't matter if it's wonky - this tells part of the story of my day: i needed caffeine
and treated myself on a coffee to go.
Looking around, I notice a tray of crayons that's out for some reason.
It's colourful, so I'll draw it.
My microphone is on my desk, and I'm using it today, so it should be included.
Apart from coffee, I always keep myself hydrated with herbal tea…
and to fill a smaller space I'll include my small cacti and make tiny sketches of them.
Here's some space left and I can use it to give this page a title.
Now I could fill the space around with black ink, but I feel like using bright colors to
make this page a whole.
Just added some more color to all collage elements and - done.

The Truth About Obesity - Duration: 3:31.
what's up guys it's Matt from Macro Lean and in this video I'm gonna be talking
about "obesity/ fat storage/ weight gain" whatever you want to call it ,and the
truth about why it happens and what is really responsible for it! Because the
media, the mainstream media loves to demonize one thing, demonize one thing,
pointing the finger and say that's it! That's what's causing the fat storage and
nothing else! At the moment is carbohydrates,
it's sugar. Sugar is the devil! apparently?? If you ingest sugar you are going to
store fat, you're gonna spike your insulin levels, and you're gonna store
fat because that's what happens. So cut sugar out, cut carbs out and you're
gonna be healthy! You're gonna be lean! You're gonna be strong! This is BS!! But
forget about carbs or fat or whatever as I don't wanna get too deep into that
primarily. We want to look at why they're doing it? And why they're doing that is
because it dumbs it down! It makes it very very simple to say "this one thing
is the culprit for fat storage, for bad health, for disease, for early death and
if you cut this one thing out you will get better" and then off the back of that
a lot of people are gonna sell high fat diets or supplements or whatever. Now why
people get fat is NOT because of one food, one macro nutrient or even one type of fast food
or anything! It is because they're over eating, they're in a constant calorie
surplus. Consuming more calories than their body currently needs and when you
do that with consistency you're going to gain weight, you're going to store body
fat and you're going to start to become unhealthy. And then you're gonna have
issues, bigger health issues as that goes on in life such as high blood pressure,
increased risk of stroke, heart complications, diabetes blah blah blah
And people are then saying it's because of this food group, or this food that we
are getting these bad issues, these bad health complications and this is untrue!
This is correlated to being overweight, to being obese and therefore having high
blood pressure, having diabetes from the extra stress on the body from having
unhealthy body fat percentage levels. It's not because you eat this food and
therefore you get this disease. But it's very very easy to dumb it down. Tell
people sugars are bad, carbs are bad. Avoid them all and buy this supplement and
you'll be fine. Why? because we live in a society that wants quick fixes and wants
simple methods and I get it! But really if you over eat, you over consume, you're
going to get fat, you're going to be overweight and you're going to have
health complications in life. You DON'T have to cut out any food groups or any foods! As
long as you're eating the majority of the time the right amount of food for
your body ,for your goals to maintain your current weight or even to lose
weight and body fat. And you're eating whole natural foods, you're factoring in
some treats, because guess what if you're eating in a calorie deficit or even
maintenance. You can put in some chocolate, some junk food, maybe the odd
pizza here or there maybe, the odd burger and fries if it fits your amounts,
your portions, your calories and macros and you are fine!
Don't buy into this crap that obesity is caused by eating a certain food group
or a certain food. It is not!!! Obesity is caused by consistently over consuming
calories, being in a surplus and that's what causes body fat, that's what causes
health complications and that's what shortens lifespans!

hey welcome back and in today's video you guessed it we're just gonna have
ourselves a little talk now listen true to yourself being true to yourself it's
very important if you feel like there's something that's on your chest you gotta
get that off of your chest you can't let it build up in you I have always been a
strong supporter of telling the truth because not only does the truth set you
free but it gets out how you feel now how you feel may not be agreeable with
some people I knew a long time ago that how I saw the world was completely
different from how other people saw the world
it was a rough growing up at times but it brings me to realizations that have
fundamentally changed the way that I do things now I do hold my I would say I'm
mostly a stoic around people I'm very to myself and very quiet but at
the same time I'm guessing what they call an extrovert because I am extremely
good at conversation I like talking to people I'll get energy from other people
but at the same time I like being alone I love nature I love doing hikes and
things like that wow this sounds like an an eHarmony and it's not this is about
staying true to yourself every time I've ever liked my emotions mmm it's not that
my emotions are intense but they can be intense at times but it's more like
people just aren't like me they don't get they don't get it I guess
it's not so hard not to lie it's not so hard not to withhold the truth
especially when you're talking to somebody is that is as honest as someone
like me because if I say I feel a certain way that's the way I feel
no maybe no little bit that's the way that I feel and I can see how this can
be looked at as intense but anytime I've
done it the other way and just withheld myself in my the way that I felt I
wasn't able to be my true self and when I'm my true self a creative energy rises
inside of me and I'm able to just come up with these ideas YouTube videos are
better everything that I do is better and if you withhold that it's like
you're withholding your inner energy and that energy does not need to be held I
think that works for everyone but sometimes people tend not to be that
way or act on how they feel on the inside that's that's where I have an
issue I wish that they would but we can't have everything my thing is is
that when there's a topic that gets in my brain something that I'm fixated on I
think about it until it's the issue at hand is solved that's just how I've
always been I'm a very I don't I don't know the exact word to say it but the
the thing I'm trying to get out is to be true to yourself I feel like not only me
but each and every one of us have a lot to offer and the way that we feel it can
change especially if other people aren't
on the ball well I'm done that I'm done with that but I just wanted to tell you
guys to be true to yourself when you get what you it's inside you out it's it
always feels good get that creative energy flowing and do something
productive leave your creative and/or interesting responses in the comment box

in my Birchbox and for november I've always heard of glam glow and you know
for a full sized treatment $69 so I was super excited to get this in my Birchbox
as you know Birchbox is a ten dollar monthly subscription service and I do
think it is really really cool that they have extremely high-end brands because I
ain't never gonna spend $69 on a mask but it is a really really great
hydrating mask I have tried this twice before you looks like it is 0.24 fluid
ounces or seven grams of product but it's just a really great treatment it is
supposed to boost radiance with its ultra hydrating formula of hyaluronic
acid raw honey and ginger root you leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes to reap the
benefits of its nourishing ingredients so it says to apply an even layer to
clean skin leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes you can then wipe it off or
massage it directly into the skin so how I personally do it is you know I
obviously like my nose it's you know I have combination skin so it's a little
bit oily so I personally don't put it on there but my cheek area my chin and
stuff where I'm a little bit more dry so what's this just this you know thicker
you know so I just kind of dot it around and then just massage it in I'm just
gonna leave it not you know I don't want it to it totally absorb right away okay
smells count like coconuts like real coconut not like fake sweet coconut it
smells really really good great thing too is I've used it twice before and it
hasn't made me break out yes I know I'm broken out right now this was from a
different skin care product but it's just really really nice it smells really
good it doesn't sting and I really really like it so if you so if you are
interested in the glam glow thirsty mud hydrating treatment I would definitely
maybe hit up Sephora maybe even you know see if there's like some places where
you can get smaller samples I mean honestly if I had the money and like
money was no object I definitely do think a full-sized tube of this would
would be worth the $69 it's a great great treatment especially for this time
of year but you know where money is an object you know I'm not gonna spend that
much but I would definitely recommend checking out some subscription boxes
seeing what types of things that they've carried in the past because yeah super
excited that I got to try out this glam glow product I've heard amazing things
about it hands down it is a really really great product so if you have been
wondering about the glam glow thirsty mud hydrating treatment it is really
really great I like it a lot and yeah if you do have the money or that kind of
skin care stuff is important to you I would definitely recommend it it's
really really great if you don't have the money I would definitely try hitting
up here Sephora saying if they have sample sizes
you know even like I said checking out some subscription boxes and seeing if
that's ever been a sample because sometimes they do repeat samples but
actually really really great I do like it a lot so I am a budget Channel I'm
gonna continue to be a budget channel so if I do review high-end products it will
because I got them for extremely cheap I got them like a subscription box or I
got them in a way that I didn't pay anywhere near full price so I just want
to kind of touch on that because I don't want people to be upset Kim you're a
budget channel you know it I sure AM but you know there are ways to get high-end
products for extremely extremely cheap and you know your girl Kim's gonna find
