Youtube daily report w Nov 28 2017

[♪ INTRO]

Someday, we're going to send people to Mars, and it's gonna be awesome.

But for now, everyone from NASA to Elon Musk

is still trying to figure out the best way to do it.

With today's rockets, a one-way trip to Mars takes somewhere around seven months,

but one company is developing an engine

that might be able to get us there in only forty days.

It's called the VASIMR engine, and it propels spacecraft using a jet of plasma.

VASIMR stands for Variable Specific Impulse Magnetoplasma Rocket,

and the idea behind it has actually been around since the 1970s.

But engineers didn't make too much progress on it until 2015,

when NASA gave the Ad Astra Company a grant to develop it as part of their NextSTEP program.

It works using a kind of electric propulsion,

and it's a big step up from the other engines available right now.

To get your rocket into space, you'd still need a chemical engine, which generates thrust

with a reaction that releases tons of gas, like combining hydrogen and oxygen.

So far, that's the only kind of engine we have

that's powerful enough to get a heavy rocket to space.

But once you're there, you can move it with all kinds of things,

from ions to particles of light, depending on what your mission is.

Right now, any spacecraft that would send people to Mars would still use a chemical engine,

because we mostly have the technology figured out.

But carrying all that fuel also adds a lot of weight.

So newer kinds of engines use electric propulsion, often in the form of ion thrusters,

which create a beam of charged atoms, or ions, to push your spacecraft around.

Ion engines are a lot more efficient than chemical engines,

but they aren't designed to handle large payloads,

like a bunch of humans and all the supplies they'd need for a trip to Mars.

So we mostly use ion thrusters for small satellites.

VASIMR also uses electric propulsion, but it will be way more powerful.

It propels the spacecraft by creating plasma,

in the form of a super hot jet of ions and electrons.

Unlike other kinds of electric propulsion, it uses radio waves to heat the plasma,

rather than electrodes or other electronics in ion engines.

Which among other things, makes the engine a lot more durable.

To make the plasma, it starts by pumping a gas like hydrogen or argon into a tube,

which is surrounded by a magnet and two couplers, a kind of device that emits radio waves.

Most kinds of gas will work, which makes VASIMR really versatile,

but hydrogen is a good choice if you want a lightweight, easy-to-find fuel.

Once the gas is pumped in, the first coupler strips some of the electrons off their atoms

and turns the gas into plasma.

At this point, it's already very hot, around 5500 degrees Celsius,

but then, the second coupler makes it even hotter.

It raises the plasma to 10 million degrees Celsius,

which isn't that far from the temperature inside the Sun.

A magnetic nozzle then turns that super hot plasma into a nice, controllable jet,

and it's shot out of the end of the engine.

Besides being more durable, VASIMR is great because it also has different settings,

like the gears on a car, which means it can generate the right amount of thrust

for different kinds of missions.

So besides getting people to Mars, it could also be scaled down

to send small satellites zooming around the Earth.

But most importantly for our future astronauts, VASIMR can be made

big and powerful enough to move human-sized spacecraft.

Ion engines just aren't ready to do that yet, partly because many tend to rely on more

mechanical parts than VASIMR, some of which aren't designed to work on a large scale.

Although engineers are working on that, too.

Still, there is one thing we need to figure out before VASIMR is ready to go:

the power supply.

It takes a lot of power to produce all those radio waves,

especially if you want an engine strong enough to push a crew of astronauts.

Solar panels can generate enough power to propel small satellites,

but we'd need something a lot stronger for a full-sized spacecraft.

And our best option is probably using a small nuclear reactor.

But because those have the potential to be really dangerous,

we'll want to make sure that we're extra confident in that technology

before we start using nuclear power to transport people through space.

Right now, the goal for the VASIMR team is to develop an engine

so it can fire for 100 consecutive hours at 100 kilowatts of power,

which is 10 to 100 times more power than an ion thruster has.

To get to Mars in 40 days, you'd still need a lot more power than that,

like, 2000 times more power.

And that's probably where a nuclear reactor would come in.

But for now, 100 kilowatts is a good start.

Ad Astra's plans with NASA are to have the engine ready

for the 100 kilowatt goal by the summer of 2018.

As of last August, they'd fired the engine for around 10 hours, so they're making progress.

Still, even after they meet that goal, VASIMR will need to go through

plenty of development and tests before we use it to go anywhere.

So when the first human steps on Mars, we'll probably have made it there

with a chemical engine, since that technology is a lot more developed.

But someday, our trips to Mars could be a whole lot faster.

Thanks for watching this episode of SciShow Space!

If you thought getting to Mars in 40 days sounded cool,

you can watch our episode on photonic propulsion,

where we explain how we could someday get to Mars in only three days … at least in theory.

But I wouldn't hold your breath.

PART 3 - I'm lucky, that Zhenya found her. I think she is lucky too. - A great piece of luck!

- With such an intonation. - Point taken. - Ira!

- Has he thrown his keys? - Switch on the music from the beginning.

The first piece, please!

(?) Yes.

Let's start.

There is a building work going on around the rink. It is not the best place for an interview,

but Alyosha is in a hurry, he has an important task today. So we begin the talk here from the question: how can he become better?

I think, that from the technical point of view every skater can become better.

There are other quads for me, which I jumped last winter, now I only need to remember them.

One my jump is good (that is quad toe loop), and I need to learn other quads, to do more complicated programs.

As for the artistry, I think there is no limit yet, I only need to go on working with Tatiana Anatolievna,

so that there will be something more funny or something serious, it is possible.

The main thing, that you also need to become adult, so that you would have things you could bring to light.

The main thing, that I understand I can develop.

Tell me please, how many quads are possible: 2, or 4, or 6? What is the limit?

I think skaters will do quintiple jumps, but of course, it will be not in this millenium, I guess. Yet it will be.

Many skaters jump now... for example, Chinese skaters jump all the quads, so they can go further. We try to follow them.

Yet they don't win over you. Why do you win over those who set records from the sporting point of view?

I guess I win by means of artistry. They jump, but they don't have programs, actually.

Don't have interesting bonds between elements, don't have a story which they'd like to tell judges and viewers.

Yet I think it will be so only till that time, when a Russian choreographer will come to China and produce excellent programs for them.

My former coach Alexei Nikolayevich Mishin said once, that a person shows his best result, when he doesn't feel good or when he has bad time.

So I think, that the European Championship was the most difficult event for me this year, and that was one of the best results for me.

There also were many strong skaters at the European Championship, that was a motivation for me.

Last year and this year my main goal is to skate first part of the program,

where I have the most difficult jumps: the 3 axel - 3 toe combination and the quad.

If I have a clean beginning, it is hard to stop me, I guess.

I'm not used to skate old programs in a new season.

In my free program I have the music from the "Broken arrow" movie and in my short program I have classic music.

Our short program turned out to be funny and cheerful, as always.

The free program is more serious, I'm in a character of a soldier. A war, revenge, blood - something like that.

How can you feel, that you are a soldier on a war?

First of all, I've watched the movie: what I'm going to show on the ice.

After that I've been working with Tatiana Anatolievna on the ice and with her assistant Kolya Morozov, we are trying to get the result.

She aslo reads the second meaning into this program. Do you agree with that meaning? Showing everybody, that you are the best?

Well, I should try to do that every second, on every event, that I'm the best, to make the rivals fear.

Sometimes I succeed, sometimes I don't.

Yet I think this program is more interesting than the one, wich I had last year,

because I've been working with Tatiana Anatolievna,

and I understand now what I try to show on the ice, I feel the music, the meaning of my program.

I think I just should skate clean, and the audience and the judges will understand, that I'm good indeed and it is hard to win over me.

On the training I saw, that you have good relations with your coach, you may even joke or play - she allows.

How soon had you reached such relationship? How long ago had you felt, that you might behave in a matter-of-course way?

When I just came to Tatiana Anatolievna from Alexei Nikolayevich Mishin, I was a little bit inhibited, because she was a new coach,

absolutely different style of working on the ice and in a gym hall, everything was new for me.

Yet after two months I had acclimatized myself, and the work became easier.

No way round it. If we thought only about jumps, steps, spins and skates, no good would come out of it.

We should have fun, because life goes on.

You are an ironical person. How do you think, what is the main side of your character?

In relations with your friends, for example, or with adults maybe.

I think, being cheerful is the main thing. And I'd like to have many friends, real friends.

So that they could support me at any moment.

Do you have comrades or friends here, or did they stay in Russia?

Some of them stayed in Russia, and I have many friends here, I became acquainted with them during last year.

One guy is very good, he helped me a lot indeed. I have enough friends everywhere.

- Who is that best guy? - He is a son of my agent's assistant. Yes, not simple.

Is he your agemate?

He is 22 now. Well, nearly the same age. So he helps me a lot.

He really helped me, when I came to America, it was difficult for me, everything had stayed in Russia: my parents, home, my friends.

I was one aloner, he tried to cheer me up and helped me to settle in America.

In Russia you have mom, grandma and a dog, right? Soon your mom and the dog are going to be here?

Mom and the doggie are coming this Sunday. They'll stay for two months.

So how are you going to welcome her? Do you prepare something or you'll be the only present?

I think meeting me will be the main pleasure for her, and I'll be happy to see her and my dog.

So I'm going to buy flowers and we'll have a festal dinner on Sunday.

So you are going to enjoy cozy life, yet soon you have first skates, don't you? When is the first competition?

The first event will be on September 6. It will be a team competition: America against Russia. The first start of the long season.

It seems the last season was over not long ago, we almost didn't have a rest, and it is September again, kids go to school, I go to a competition.

The interview is over. Today Alyosha's super fashionable Mercedes jeep (Victor Stepanovich Chernomyrdin has the same car)

is going to have maintenance operation for the first time. So you can see, that Alyosha has a very serious task indeed.

We go back to the ice.

O projeto Tiny House no Brasil - Sobre o Pés Descalços Parte 3 - Duration: 7:33.

Live in a tiny house on wheels?

What is that about Tiny House in Brazil?

(music playing)

'The Bare Feet' encourages simplicity

a simplest life

not a mediocre one, no

a simple life we are talking about is an uncomplicated one

a life free of excessive consumption

that doen't mean we can't buy things

but it causes a reaction like...

do I really need that?

because in a Tiny House you don't have that amount of space

to keep something you bought for impulse

And what do I get out of that?

A freer life, healthier

with more spare time for my family

with more time for what really matters

you can put a price on that

(music playing)

After all the thoughts we gave into our lives

reflexion that started after the Burnout Syndrome diagnosis, mine and Robson's

after the Yoga practice

We started to change a lot of things in our life

starting with our eating habits

we began to be more aware of our environmental impact

then we began to produce our own hygiene and cleaning products

and the ones we don't make at home

we buy from craftsmen who produce these products naturally

when we started to tell people about that

share experiences with friends and family

we began to be questioned about

How do I do this? How do I do that?

How do you deal with this? How do you deal with that?

Lots of curiosity

and then some of them suggested

that we should start a blog or even a YouTube channel

so we could share those experiences

our learnings

and promote that possibility

of a simpler life, lighter life

and tell about our day to day

how is our life now

'Bare Feet' come up as a way to get togheter all that knowledge

that we are gaining in this process of simplifying our life

also known as downsizing

and to show people that is possible to apply all of these

and introduces these habits in Brazil

to improve not just our lives

but the ones around us

and it is totally in line with the environment

When the Tiny Houses come into our lives

it was like a light going on

e saying... that's it

it was exactly what we needed to turn it all a reality

(music playing)

Is it bureaucratic? Of course it is!

in Brazil we know that to open a small business,

a small development

anything that is new in Brazil is extremely complicated

but our dream is bigger than that

we have been studying for almost two years,

going deep into the culture, the regulations

the laws, on how to implement that in Brazil

and we have a path traced

we know how to make it legal

we know how to build

so uniting theses two knowledges

we said to ourselves

we have the whole pathway open in Brazil for the Tiny House Movement start

now we have to do the final touches on the trailer that has been built already

we sat down with the Officials Bureaus,

the business that are involved in the process of building our Tiny House

that is basically going to be the prototype

and will open that path to legalize it in Brazil

we know about your anxiety

ours is also very big

we have a juge list of things we want to talk about on the videos

on the blog and knowledge we want to share with you

but as you can see...

there is just the two of us

we share our time among the 'Bare Feet' project

among the Tiny House project,

among family project,

and taking care of this amazing space we are living at

Family Project?

family project

both of us and our son

summing up, we have to divide ourselves out

we have the blog, facebook page...

we have to bring knowledge, research, produce, record and edit the videos

it is basically a lot of work for two people to be able to publish a video per week

so we ask you for patience in the beggining

as we still don't have any help from volunteers

although we are looking for it

we will keep doing it all for now...

on a slow pace...

within our possibilities

wel, that's it

So, 'Bare Feet' was born to inspire a movement

it's not about giving everything up and being happy ever after

it's about being aware of what really matters

(music playing)

if you liked about what we talked

Give us a like

eeehhhh (laugh)

we will talk more about each topic here on the channel

don't forget to live us a comment letting us know what do you want us to talk about

and don't forget to share this video if you liked it

(music playing)

but Alyosha is in a hurry, he has an important task today.

Actors Who Turned Down Millions To Star In The Sequel - Duration: 5:50.

It's no secret that movie stars can make millions upon millions of dollars to play someone else

on screen.

But for some actors, money isn't everything—particularly when it comes to sequels.

Find out why certain household names decided not to follow up a successful film, despite

being offered a truckload of money.

Vin Diesel

Fast & Furious movies come out at a rate that's, well, fast and furious.

Vin Diesel was in the first film, and all the most recent entries, but he skipped the

2003 sequel 2 Fast 2 Furious, despite being offered 25 million dollars.

Diesel told Hashtag Legend:

"Sequels had gotten such a bad name and I had started to think of that first Fast and

Furious as a classic, like a Rebel Without a Cause.

If we 'sequelised' it the way studios were doing at the time, just slapping a story together,

I'd ruin the chance of that first one becoming a classic."

Ironically, Diesel used that time to film The Chronicles of Riddick, a sequel to the

2000 movie Pitch Black.

That franchise was much closer to Diesel's heart, so much so that he took home a relatively

meager $50,000 dollars.

Will Smith

With The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will Smith transitioned from music into television.

And with Independence Day, the top grossing movie of 1996, Smith transitioned from TV

star to full-fledged movie star.

"Who's the man, huh?

Who's the man?"

When producers approached Smith to return for an Independence Day sequel, Smith countered

their initial offer with a request for $50 million dollars for two sequels.

Despite getting shot down, Smith still considered being in the movie.

In 2015, the sequel's director, Roland Emmerich, said:

"He just was tired of sequels and he did another science fiction film, which was his father-son

story, so he opted out."

Michael Keaton

Primarily known as a comedic actor, Michael Keaton was a bit of a left-field choice to

star in Tim Burton's Batman films.

But both Batman and Batman Returns ended up doing incredibly well.

That's why it was so shocking when Keaton walked away from the franchise before Batman

Forever went into production.

He also walked away from a reported $15 million dollars.

"What was it about three that you just didn't like?"

"Sucked."

"Yeah?

There you go!

That pretty much says it all."

"Yeah, it just was awful."

Jodie Foster

Movies that win the Academy Award for Best Picture don't often have sequels, but The

Silence of the Lambs isn't like most movies.

"Most serial killers keep some sort of trophies from their victims."

"I didn't."

"No.

No, you ate yours."

After winning an Oscar for her portrayal of FBI agent Clarice Starling, Jodie Foster was

offered $20 million dollars to return for the sequel---one of the biggest actor paychecks

up to that time.

But Foster said no, deciding instead to direct a film about a circus sideshow performer called

Flora Plum.

The film died in production, and Julianne Moore stepped into the role of Clarice, for

which she was paid a mere $2 million dollars.

Keanu Reeves

The original Speed was lightning in a bottle.

A huge box office success, it made veteran actor Keanu Reeves a viable action star, and

thrust Sandra Bullock onto the A-list.

Then there's Speed 2: Cruise Control, which ranks among the most poorly-reviewed, franchise-killing

sequels of all time.

Bullock returned, but Reeves didn't, reportedly leaving $11 million dollars on the table.

After filming the physically taxing Chain Reaction, Reeves' manager had a simple explanation:

"He didn't want to do two action movies back-to-back."

Bruce Willis

In the first two films in The Expendables franchise, Bruce Willis appeared alongside

an ensemble of faded-but-beloved action stars.

To return for the third film, he was offered $3 million dollars—for just four days of

work.

But when Willis asked for a salary boost to $4 million, it turns out he was, well, expendable.

Producers refused the pay increase and Harrison Ford got the part instead.

The Expendables 3 co-star and co-writer Sylvester Stallone tweeted out that Willis' behavior

was: "Greedy and lazy...a sure formula for career failure."

Katie Holmes

Dawson's Creek actress Katie Holmes starred as Bruce Wayne's girlfriend in Batman Begins.

But she opted out of the next movie, The Dark Knight, choosing instead to film the forgettable

heist comedy Mad Money.

Holmes told Business Insider in 2016 that she doesn't regret her choice to walk away

from a critically-acclaimed blockbuster, saying,

"It was a decision that I made at that time and it was right for me at that moment."

According to The Wall Street Journal, Holmes would've earned between $1 and 2 million dollars

for The Dark Knight, much more than the roughly $250,000 she got for Mad Money.

Jim Carrey

1994 was the year Jim Carrey officially became a household name, when he starred in three

hit movies: Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, The Mask, and Dumb and Dumber.

Carrey starred in sequels to Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber, but turned down the sequel

to The Mask, despite a $10 million dollar offer.

On turning down that much cash, Carrey told the Los Angeles Times:

"I don't want people to start thinking about me as, like, a money person, cause I'm not.

To me, that's a little Monopoly game that's being played in the other room."

"That's how wealthy people laugh…

OH!"

Hilary Duff

If you weren't a tween or the parent of a tween in the early 2000s, then the Lizzie

McGuire television phenomenon probably escaped you.

Disney executive Dick Cook was so confident that a Lizzie McGuire movie would be a hit

that he offered lead actress Hilary Duff a two-movie deal for $3.5 million dollars.

Hilary's manager, who happened to be her mother, asked for $5 million instead.

Cook said $4 million was his final offer and gave the Duffs a deadline when the offer would

expire.

A day after that deadline, Duff's mom agreed to the $4 million, but it was too late.

And that's why there's only one Lizzie McGuire movie.

Will Ferrell

Elf is a modern-day Christmas classic, and to revisit Buddy the Elf would be to ruin

the spirit of the original.

That's a big reason why Will Ferrell refused to make Elf 2, resisting the lure of offers

as high as $29 million dollars.

Regarding his decision, he told The Guardian:

"I remember asking myself: could I withstand the criticism when it's bad and they say,

'He did the sequel for the money'?

I decided I wouldn't be able to.

I didn't want to wander into an area that could erase all the good work I've done."

"So I'm here now, I found you, daddy."

Top 10 Best Video Game Rip Offs - Duration: 6:57.

TOP 10 BEST VIDEO GAME RIP OFFS

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Or the basis for a lawsuit, as a few of the numbers on our list today proved to be.

It shouldn't be a surprise that throughout the last several decades, many developers

have taken notes from games that have come before them, but sometimes, that inspiration

goes a tad too far, and a game ends up becoming a total knock off.

And as is the case with the games on our list today, sometimes those knock offs are pretty

damn great.

So today we're counting down the top 10 best video game rip offs.

Let's jump in.

10 Pong Let's start our list off our list with one

of the most notable additions to the video game industry.

Pong is highly considered to be the very first console video game.

But did you know that it's a rip off?

Atari initially manufactured this table tennis game, developed by Atari co-founded Nolan

Bushnell.

But Bushnell had based it off of a game that was included in the Magnavox Odyssey, the

first commercial home video game console, that connected to your television and was

capable of displaying three square dots on your screen, which were manipulated in different

ways to provide different games on the console, and came with plastic overlays and props that

were included in your gameplay.

One of which was a ping pong game.

Atari was sued.

9 The Great Giana Sisters The Great Giana Sisters lets you play a girl

who suffers from nightmares traverses 32 dungeons full of monsters, in search of her sister

Maria, who then wakes you up if you win the final battle of the game.

Sounds neat, except for the fact that the game itself is pretty much a carbon clone

of Super Mario Bros.

The 2D platformer almost identical aesthetically, with owls replacing goombas and diamonds replacing

coins.

There was even an alleged lawsuit, an urban myth that claims Nintendo sued the developers;

a rumour that begun when The Great Giana Sisters was pulled from stores.

Nintendo admitted to have influenced the games' stop of sales, but denied the lawsuit.

All that aside, the game has gotten rave reviews, and has been noted to have one of the best

soundtracks from that era.

Plus it's follow up, Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams, diverted more from the Mario franchise.

8 Bayonetta While the protagonist of the game is definitely

unique in her own right, it's the rest of Bayonetta that shares quite the chunk of similarities

with another hack and slash game - Devil May Cry.

With many similar gameplay mechanics, combat system and visual cues, many think that Bayonetta

is a sexier version of Devil May Cry, and actually the superior of the two.

Which shouldn't come as a surprise, since the games are created by the same man, Hideki

Kamiya, who created Devil May Cry and directed Bayonetta.

7 Saints Row Series Saints Row shares many qualities with another

specific open world crime-driven franchise - Grand Theft Auto.

The two share similar mechanics, similar fictional locales based off real cities, and to an extent,

similar tones pertaining to humour, with Saints Row being more so over the top.

But, to be fair, Saints Row has really come into it's own in recent years, further developing

it's tone and style into something much more original and unique, even if it's game

play mechanics still feel familiar to GTA fans.

6 FarmVille A small indie company called Slashkey created

a Facebook game called FarmTown; an addictive little game that was on the road to success,

with over 3.7 million daily active users playing it.

Then, months after it was created, a larger company name Zynga released a game that was

a replica, almost matching Farm Town to a tee.

FarmVille went on to hold the title of most popular game on Facebook for over two years,

but how the mighty fall.

After 2011, it began a steady decline, dropping to the 110th most popular game on the social

media site.

FarmVille's developer Zynga as a history of ripping off other games, and has been sued

in the past by the likes of EA.

5 Angry Birds - Crush the Castle When you really think about it, Angry Birds

is a little absurd.

You slingshot odd looking birds into delicate structures and the pigs that live in them

in order to destroy them.

So, it makes a little more sense when you take a look at Crush the Castle, a game that

is pretty much medieval warfare - use a catapult in an onslaught against your enemies castle. It's

Angry Birds verbatim.

The game uses almost identical game mechanics, simply replacing the assets for more ludicrous,

colourful characters, but keeping most of the same features and projectile types.

Except now they're Angry Birds.

4 Guitar Hero Guitar Hero was released in 2005, developed

by RedOctane and Harmonix.

Prior to that, the team at RedOctane had worked on creating hardware for Konami's arcade

game Guitar Freaks for the North American release of the game.

So, of course, they made their own knockoff version, using a similar plastic guitar that

came with the game as a controller.

Which was exactly like the one in Guitar Freaks.

Additionally, the game play was visually very similar, both with meters that showed the

player how well they were doing, with a Game Over if they missed too many music notes.

And had the added bonus of licensing music to bring in rock classics rather than just

feature generic music.

3 Rock Band It wasn't all rainbows and sunshine for

Guitar Heroes there on out.

Before the development of Guitar Hero 3 began, Harmonix parted ways with the games publisher

Activision, and created its own musical game with the aid of MTV and EA.

Activision wasn't too happy about that, and boasted that the game would just be an

imitation of it's franchise.

But it wasn't entirely - it excelled past Guitar Hero, using the game guitar mechanics,

but also adding other musical instruments into the mix, with a more realistic approach

to it's aesthetics.

2 Sonic & Mario While this number may have some people's

blood boiling, it's worth discussing due to the nature of Sonic's inception.

Sonic was created by Sega with the intention of giving Nintendo's Mario series direct

competition by creating their own icon that would give the Italian plumber a run for its

money.

And it did. There's even been multiple Sonic games that have been noted by critics to share

similarities with Mario games released prior to them, with the biggest being Mario Galaxy.

Luckily for us, Sonic has become much more than that, holding his own in the video game

industry, but not without fans still noticing the parallels between the two.

These franchises rivalries would go on for years and years, even to this day, with reviewers

noting that Sonic Forces has a few similarities to Mario Odyssey, like the removal of limited

lives.

1 Ms Pac Man Turns out that Ms Pac Man is a rip off of

a rip off of Pac Man.

So, let's back track a bit.

Pac Man was released in arcades in October of 1980, and was a huge hit.

While it was blowing up, three young programmers were trying to break into the industry, with

a company they created called General Computer Corporation that made plug in boards for arcade

machines, which theoretically would save arcades a ton of money since owners could upgrade

their machines with these plug ins and introduce new games without having to buy new machines.

Developers didn't like this much though, and sued them for some of the games they had

developed with these plug ins, which were essentially knock offs.

One game they had developed was called Crazy Otto, which was a knock off of Pac Man, and

since Midway was getting ansy about getting a Pac Man sequel up and running, the General

Computer Corporation sold them Crazy Otto.

And they re-skinned it, turning it into Ms Pac Man.

There we have it friends!

Top 5 Pets You Won't Believe Exist - Duration: 3:51.

Hey youtube im court mcginley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.

Before we get started I want to know- if you could have any pet in the world what would

it be and why?

Personally my favorite animal is a fox or an elephant.

So it would be pretty cool to have one of those animals as a pet.

Let me know your answers down in the comments.

Also don't forget to subscribe to our channel if you havnt already and make sure you like

this video so I can keep bringing you more top 5 lists.

Alright without further adue lets get started on our list of the top 5 pets you wont believe

exist.

Coming in at our number 5 spot--Racoon- this is bandit and he is a 75 pound racoon…and

yes he is someones pet.

Or I should say was because sadly he passed away in 2004 at the age of 9.

Hes even in the Guinness world record book for being the worlds fattest raccoon.

The reason hes so large is because he was born with a thyroid problem which led to his

massive weight gain.

He was abandoned as a baby and then was actually adopted by a dog and raised as if he was one

of her puppies.

Ok that's pretty adorable.

Imagine you just see a dog walking down the street followed by her puppies and one little

raccoon.

He was then later taken in by a woman in Pennsylvania where he happily lived out the remainder of

his live.

In at number 4--2 headed snake- whats better then a snake with one head?

A snake with 2 heads of course.

Back in 2016 this 2 headed snake came into our world.

An Australian reptile breeder was shocked when one of h8is eggs hatched this 2 headed

python.

The snake was nicknamed The twin Destroyer by the reptile breeders daughter.

This python is like any other snake until the body splits at the neck.

The reason this snake has 2 heads is due to a complication when the yolks failed to split

correctly in the egg.

Since a 2 headed snake is super rare to come by they can be sold for up to 50 thousand

dollars.

But the breeder insists he will not be selling the snake as he and his family have grown

attached to it and will be keeping it as a pet.

At number 3--Worlds largest dog- So this is Zeus and hes basically the size of a small

horse.

But as it turns out hes not a horse at all just the worlds tallest dog.

This huge great dane was Kevin and Denises pet dog.

And I saw was because sadly he passed away in 2014- which was just before his 5th birthday.

But he had a good life- he was extremely friendly and made many human friends through his work

as a therapy dog.

When Zeus stood up on his hind legs he was almost 5 and a half feet tall.

And a fun fact – as you may have concluded a dog this large and in charge would need

a lot of food to fuel his body.

He would actually eat 30 pounds of dog food everyday.

Coming in at our number 2 spot--Python- Yourin Sandat is 7 years old and he lives ion Cambodia.

His best friend slash pet just so happens to be a python named Chamron which translates

to Lucky.

This animal is 16 feet long and weighs over 220 pounds.

So your probably thinking to yourself what kind of parents would allow there child to

a huge python for a pet?

Wouldn't they be worried that's dangerous?

Well it turns out Yourins parents are all about it.

They allow this snake to slither around their entire house- and treat it as though its another

family member.

Turns out before this little boy was born his mother had a dream that a snake would

come to protect the family.

And so far this snake seems to be doing so.

But let me tell you taking care of a snake is not easy.

When it comes to food this python consumes 22 pounds of chicken per week…yeah that

definitely adds up.

And at number 1--Alien cat- This is Matilda aka the alien cat.

Now while some people might be freaked out by her I think shes freaking adorable.

As you can see Matilda has one feature that makes her stand out from all the other cats

and that's her set of huge glassy eyes.

When she was first brought into a vets office they thought she may have had feline leukaemia-

but after some tests were run it was discovered that she actually had a mysterious eye condition.

Sadly because of this condition her lenses have detached and she is completely blind.

Her owners looked into a possible surgery to correct this but its high risk and theres

no guaranteed success.

Luckily though Matilda isn't in pain.

Matilda even has an Instagram with 1 thousand 252 followers.

So yeah shes doing pretty well for herself.

And there you have it that's our list of the top 5 pets you wont believe exist.

Thanks so much for watching and ill catch you in the next one.

How To Deal With The Increasing Energy Shifts - Duration: 7:34.

How To Deal With The Increasing Energy Shifts

by Sylvia Molera,

Have you ever tried reading a map?

It is not always clear which is the best route to take.

It can be confusing and unclear.

Navigating your path does not have to be filled with stress.

Your path to bliss can be discovered with ease.

Let this energy guide you.

Let go of all those puppet strings you are so desperately attempting to control to the

point of exhaustion.

Your arms are achy and tired.

Its not working.

The harder you struggle to force things the more you deplete yourself.

Detach from the drama.

Preserve your precious energy.

Surrender.

Trust.

Allow.

When you dont know what to do, dont do anything at all is the general advice

to eliminate doubt and avoid taking a wrong turn.

With the increasing energy, shifts, people leaving both quietly or with a bang.

Changes, loss of a job, loss of a home, relationships devolving or evolving it has been quite the

challenge not to hide under the covers and stay in bed.

Fear is a liar!

It will never tell you the truth.

It limits you in every single way.

You are good enough!

You are strong enough!

You do have something of value to share!

Your opinion matters!

We all need to hear what you have to say.

Along with that fear there is also a quiet tap on the shoulder from Spirit.

Nudging you.

Guiding you.

How about this?

I wonder what that feels like?

That would be a cool place to live.

That class is so interesting, I want to know more.

They come so quietly we tend to sometimes ignore them.

And that is our own GPS attempting to steer us in the right direction.

One breadcrumb, one idea, one curious investigation at a time.

In order to fully take advantage of this guidance we must consciously be aware of it and listen

for it.

Be aware of what sparks your curiosity.

What looks interesting?

What sounds fun?

The road to your new life is disguised as fun.

We disregard it because we tell ourselves we have serious work to do.

I can not waste time right now messing around coloring, taking classes, fill in the blank.

I have to figure out what my next move is!

Filled with sudden desperation to solve this enormous mystery right this very moment.

Panic.

Fear.

Withdrawal.

Smother it with food, alcohol, tv.

Twisting yourself into knots to try and please everyone around you to keep the status quo.

To prevent change.

To make them happy so they will like you.

Conforming.

Making yourself smaller.

Silencing your voice, your wants your needs so that they wont leave you.

All the while you become further and further disconnected further and further confused

further and further depressed and filled with thoughts of giving up.

That is when the dark takes over.

Yes!

We got her!

We got him!

We managed to steer her away from her light.

He gave up!

Stop the insanity.

Relax.

You have not wasted any time because you learned something.

Everything has been for your greatest good no matter how messed up it felt like when

it unfolded.

Even now looking back you can think of a few times that life seemed to blow up in your

face and now you see what a huge gift that was for you as it was the catalyst for a blessing

right around the corner.

And that happened when you were asleep!

What glory awaits you now that you are conscious and aware?!

How exciting!

Anything is possible!

All you have to do is create!

Let go.

Stop trying to control anything.

Drive your own car.

Stay in your own lane.

Dont go trying to drive someone else s car.

Thats when you crash.

And Im sure you are quite familiar with crashing, am I right?

We all are.

Let everyone else worry about their own road.

You stay on yours.

Nothing else matters but your happiness.

Point blank period.

Relax, listen, investigate.

What lights you up?

What makes your heart sing?

What looks cool?

What sounds interesting?

Go there with an open mind.

Dont talk yourself out of anything.

The mind will try to sabotage your investigation telling you all the ways you will fail because

of stuff that went down in the past.

All that exists is this very moment.

Just now.

Nothing else.

Allow yourself to be guided to your next breadcrumb.

Take a chance!

Take many chances!

Do not label anything as stupid or ridiculous.

You cannot know for sure this is not going to lead you to your next discovery.

If you feel drawn to get a reading or a healing, do it!

Wisdom and guidance will come in all forms.

Do not limit the way you are willing to receive your next breadcrumb.

Stay open and alert.

Constantly observing the synchronicities that arrive at your doorstep.

Reading My Country 🇮🇹 Tag - Duration: 14:08.

My choice for this question is a collection of stories by Gianni Rodari

Gianni Rodari has been one of my favourite writers since I was a child

I used to read his "Cipollino" even before knowing that he was an Italian author and it was one of my favourite books

And just recently I bought this new collection book

So Gianni Rodari's Cipollino and his other stories played a big part in my childhood

If you can, go and read it, because "Cipollino" is a story that makes you laugh and smile

but at the same time it makes you think. Back then I didn't know that this story had a strong social and political message, too.

"I promessi sposi" by Alessandro Manzoni

This book is probably a mixed blessing for the majority of Italian students

We read it at high school and a great part of the students hates it

some love it and I was quite lucky because

my teacher was amazing in explaining this story.

This book has been translated in English as "The betrothed"

The story is set in circa 1620

and it follows two young lovers

and all of the obstacles that they need to overcome

in order to find a way to be together

Stravaganza - Città delle stelle / City of stars *I was holding the wrong book*

Written by Mary Hoffman

This is the 2nd book in a series that is set in a parallel/fantasy/alternative world

And this second book is set in an "Italian" city, quite similar to Siena

So it's set in Tuscany (sort of)

I love this series, even if I never finished it

just because only the first three books have been translated

I'll try to read them in English

Even if I love this cover so much and it'll be a pity to read this book in a different edition... but oh well!

"Lucrezia Borgia" written by Maria Bellonci

Maria Bellonci is a writer that I already met while reading other books written by her

I love her way of writing, all the descriptions are very long and detailed yet pleasant

And I'm really fascinated by Lucrezia Borgia as a historical figure

that's why this is the first book that popped up in my mind

"The Decameron" by Giovanni Boccaccio

It's definitely a classic here in Italy

Students read parts of it at both middle and high school

And I like this book, even if I have to finish it

I never read it from cover to cover

So as soon as I can I'll re-start it in order to finish the whole book

"The Divine Comedy" by Dante Alighieri

Again a huge book from my high school years (as you may see xD )

Back then we read almost all of the Inferno

but only bits from Purgatorio and Paradiso

So I'd love to read the whole book one day

Even if it's quite challenging, because

I don't know how the English translation looks like..maybe the language has been simplified

but I may assure you that reading it in Italian isn't an easy task

since the reader has to analyze each and every verse

So I'll see how it goes

but surely it's a book that I want to read as a whole sooner or later

"Fairy Oak - The Twins' Secret" by Elisabetta Gnone

I love Elisabetta Gnone

she's such a talented author

who knows how to convey very important messages through children/middle grade books

that each and every adult may still enjoy

Fairy Oak isn't her only trilogy/series by her

recently a sequel for "Olga di carta" was published

and I can't wait to read it

She is an author that I admire and that is hugely talented

The second Italian author is again someone that I used to love as a girl/teen

it's Licia Troisi and here I have "Nihal of the Land of the Wind"

If I'm right this book has been translated in English (yes I'm right xD)

This was one of the ... no I believe that it was the very first Italian fantasy book that I ever read (written by an Italian author in Italian)

I used to love it so much

and now I'm afraid to read it again (I never finished the second trilogy set in the same world)

because of the "Twilight" effect:

I used to love it back in the days, but maybe now I'll dislike it (just as it happened with Twilight)

I was quite young when I read it for the first time, so it may happen!

However I still remember this book with love

I cried while reading it (and it seldom happens)

So that's why I decided to speak about the author here

The third name that I have here is a male

it's an author that my stepfather adores (he owns almost all of the books written by him)

His name is Valerio Massimo Manfredi

and he mostly writes historical books

set in ancient Greece/Rome/Macedonia etc.

so quite a unique setting.

His books are always full of interesting details

and the stories are quite immersive

so that's why I admire this author.

I just had to speak about an author that I

discovered only this year...last year. I can't remember. No! this year, this spring

Her name is Goliarda Sapienza and the book is "The art of joy"

It's a book that I loved SO much. It was one of the best bookish presents ever

I learned so much while reading it, both about Italian history and the power of women and the way they tried to gain freedom and indipendence

Reading this book was amazing

because it was written in such a beautiful way

and both me and my stepfather enjoyed it

so it's a book that is enjoyable for both male and female readers

and I definitely recommend it

Moreover this book has been translated into English

As far as the next two names are concerned I believe that I don't even have to explain why they are here

and they are Italo Calvino

and Umberto Eco.

Italo Calvino is an author with a vast bibliography and I've already read a bunch of his books

His stories are always interesting and he writes them in such an ironic way (playing with concepts and language)

So reading his books is always a fun experience and I'm sure that a lot of his stories have been translated, since he's so famous.

The second name that I have here is Umberto Eco

and here again I love the way the author plays and uses the language

I hope that the translated version is as good as the original

so that the reader can understand how much effort and passion he puts in his stories

The one that I'm holding is "The name of the rose"

that inspired the creation of the famous old movie with Sean Connery

I was about to say Sean Bean xD

Jeep Wrangler Smittybilt Tonneau Cover (2007-2018 JK 4 Door) Review & Install - Duration: 4:54.

The tonneau cover by Smittybilt will be one of the most affordable coverage options that

you can get for your cargo area for your '07 to '17 four-door JK.

When you have the top off of your Jeep, the cargo area is very easily accessible.

This can be a good thing, but with wandering eyes, unexpected weather, hard bumps and turns,

your things can get damaged, lost, or stolen if nothing's covering them up.

I'd like to mention that this will require the use of a factory soft top tailgate bar

and tailgate bar retainers.

So if you do not have that hardware, I would recommend checking out our soft top hardware

and accessories page.

Hardware aside, attaching this is very easy, and it gets a one out of three wrenches on

the difficulty meter, and I'll go into that in just a moment.

This tonneau cover will cover the whole rear cargo area of your Jeep.

I would like to mention that there is also an option for the two-door models, so make

sure you get the right one for your JK.

The material that this is made from is a black diamond vinyl material, very similar to the

OEM soft top.

The fabric is custom-cut to the cargo area for the four-door, and even has a flap that

will come up and wrap around the roll bar on each side with heavy-duty Velcro to prevent

it from flapping around in the wind.

With that, the edges of the cover have thick plastic tabs on the inside seam that insert

in the groove that goes around the back of the whole body of the Jeep.

What I like about the cover is that it comes with little nylon straps that you can pull

to insert the plastic tabs for a very tight fit, making it super easy to put on and take

off.

Like I mentioned, this does use the factory tailgate bar and the tailgate bar retainers

to secure the back and seal the tailgate.

So if you have a hard top, I would recommend to check out our options for those components

on our hardware and accessories page.

Since this uses the tailgate bar in the rear, this will not be able to work in conjunction

with either the hard top or the soft top installed, and to reinstall the hard top, the tailgate

bar retainers would have to be removed.

Also, if you would like to put your seats down and cover those as well, Smittybilt offers

an extension piece that zippers onto the front of the tonneau cover and covers all the way

up to the front seats for about $60 more.

Like I said, this is the most affordable tonneau cover on our site right now for the 4-door,

coming in at about $70.

This is very inexpensive considering that there are fabric options on the site that

are up to $135 and solid metal options for up to $650.

So more expensive fabric options will not require the use of any soft top hardware,

like the JeepTopsUSA tonneau cover that attaches to the tailgate with magnets.

If you have a hard top and you need those additional items, you are looking at about

$80 more for the tailgate bar and retainers off of our site.

If that was the case, and you didn't wanna purchase those items, I would recommend to

check out the tonneau covers with the magnets, because in the end they will be a bit cheaper.

Now, a one-up from one of our more expensive options is that this offers an extender piece

that will cover the back seats when they are folded down.

There's another tonneau cover by Bestop that offers that additional extender, but the price

of the Smittybilt cover and the extender is about the same price as just the Bestop tonneau

cover.

Overall, this has some pretty great reviews for a low price.

So if you're looking for an affordable and good quality cover, this is your best option.

The install on this is very simple, like I said, coming in at a one out of three wrenches

on the difficulty meter.

This doesn't need any hand tools and shouldn't take you any longer than 30 minutes to install.

First lay the tonneau cover over the cargo area and open up the roll bar flaps on each

side, securing them down around the sports bar, then you can attach them very loosely

to keep the cover in place.

Then you can install the OEM tailgate bar onto the tonneau cover by sliding the C-channel

on the bar over the sewn-in channel on the tonneau.

Once that's done, you can insert the bar into the tailgate bar retainers on each side of

the tailgate opening.

Start securing the sides of the tonneau cover by sliding the sewn-in plastic strips into

the channel of the Jeep just like your soft top windows.

Lastly, you can adjust the roll bar flaps and tightly secure them down.

So if you were looking for the most affordable tonneau cover to protect your cargo area,

Smittybilt has you covered.

This is Merideth with XT, and you can find this and everything else Wrangler right here

at extremeterrain.com.

5 Lessons of What it takes to be one of the best Pro Triathletes at Ironman Hawaii 2017 - Duration: 10:21.

- These are good lessons that we can take from the pros.

(whooshing)

Try it all, and then start incorporating that into races.

(whooshing)

Accept pain as a friend.

(upbeat jazzy music)

Woohoohoo (grunting).

Oh, sweaty mess.

Zwift, you are a bit of a biznitch when it comes

to Bluetooth connectivity.

Lessons today and yesterday for Zwift,

it does notwork very well with a MacBook .

Works best off of an iPhone, so I gotta get an old iPhone SE

that I'll hook up and make my dedicated Zwift thing

because, (panting) I gotta get this out,

because linking from Zwift Mobile Link

to the MacBook to the Apple TV, just too much

that can go wrong.

So just from the iPhone SE to that,

and then we should be good.

Also, lesson for the day, do not turn right

before the end of the Everest climb.

Hammered it for 23 minutes,

was gonna get to like fifth overall,

and then I was like oh yeah, it looks like I need

to turn right here.

You do not turn right.

23 minutes lost.

So yesterday we did the podcast with Sarah Crowley,

third place in Kona this year.

First podium finisher from Kona that I've talked to.

There were like a bunch of lessons that she just mentioned

as like oh yeah, did this that are really good lessons

for age group triathletes to learn.

It doesn't matter if you're going for a podium spot on Kona,

these are good lessons that we can take from the pros

who get on the podium on Kona.

Like for instance, number one,

you're never having a bad race,

especially in the longer distance races

because there's so much that can go wrong.

It's almost inevitable that something's gonna go wrong,

but you can come back for it.

For instance, think about Patrick Lange

who was 10 to 11 minutes down coming into T-2,

and I didn't even think that he was a factor.

Daniela Ryf, six minutes down on Lucy Charles

with just 40 kilometers left in the bike,

and then she hammers it and does the fastest run

of the day.

Sarah Crowley herself, she crashed coming in Kauai Hi,

crashed!

And ran out of bananas with 40K left in the bike.

She didn't have any food.

Like these are disastrous things that a lot of age groupers

like us would just like oh my God, my race is done.

I screwed up.

But no, these people are winning, setting all-time records

in the sport, coming from behind, turning it around,

having breakthrough performances

even though things go wrong.

And Sarah talked about it yesterday like oh yeah,

I'm so pumped up how at that race went,

even with the crash, to finish on the podium.

That's encouraging.

Instead of looking back and thinking oh what could've been

if I didn't crash?

So there's lesson number one.

You smart, Sarah.

You smart pro.

Now, the next lesson that we can learn from the pros

is how critical it is.

(electronic notification)

Loud.

Critical it is to do the volume

while not overcooking yourself.

Rest is absolutely critical, and we saw this

with Lionel Sanders over the last three years.

One year he was so intimidated by the distance

that he just smashed himself over and over and over

doing I think a total of nine days at seven hours plus

of training.

Came to the race, and he was so cooked

that of those nine days,

the race was actually his slowest performance.

Another year, he didn't really respect the distance.

He didn't do any race simulation days I think longer

than four and 1/2 hours, comes to the race,

totally flat, falls apart.

This year, he did enough race simulation days

of around six to seven and eight hours,

but what he did was as soon as he started feeling fatigued,

he took two days outright off and two days

of active recovery sequentially.

So then when he go to the race,

he hadn't accumulated enough fatigue

to even really justify much of a taper,

and he came in feeling fantastic

because he was basically training into the race,

sharpening up while not having beat down his body so much

that he was just coming in like oh my God.

So while training really hard is important,

it's also really important to recognize the signals

of your body and knowing when you've gotta back off

and that you probably have to back off

throughout the course of an entire year

more than you'd think.

Mark Allen, for instance, I think he used to take

three, four months completely off,

and he won a couple Konas.

How Canadian is this?

A -30 parka and flip flops underneath.

Big progress happening in Triathlon Taren HQ today.

It's gonna be totally insulated,

and I think tomorrow, drywall, wallboard,

and then we'll be able to show ya a little bit of progress.

Now, the third thing that we can learn

from the pros in Kona is that triathlon,

even still at that long distance where the bike

actually makes up a huge portion of the race,

is that it's still basically a running race.

So even though we had Cameron Wurj and Sebation Kienle,

Lionel Sanders breaking bike course records,

the three men on the podium had three

of the four fastest runs on the day,

and then the three women on the podium had three

of the five fastest runs on the day.

That's not to say that only good runners can win,

but it's just to say that you need to be fresh

off the bike and be able to still run well.

So what I recommend is that you always,

always have brick workouts in whatever training

that you're doing, a little bit of speed workout in your run

so that you can get as fast as possible.

In my case a 128 half marathon,

we want to get that 1/2 marathon in a half Ironman

to be as close to 128 as possible,

and that only happens by doing lots and lots of bike volume

so that the bike doesn't just smash you up

and doing lots of brick workouts so that your body's just,

like it's just kinda ready to run after a bike.

This is my new jacket, by the way.

I walked in, and I said I want a really warm jacket,

and they're like, ooh, this one's very good

for Winnipeg winters.

I'm like what do you got for arctic temperatures?

I run cold.

And they're like, ooh, that's pretty warm.

I'm I want that one.

Come on, guys!

Let's go.

The fourth thing that we can learn from the pros in Kona

is that there is no one best approach coming

into their race or any race or how you structure

your equipment, how you structure your training plan.

Lionel Sanders, he really undertrained himself

throughout the entire year.

Sarah Crowley basically had four A races

over the course of the entire year.

On the bikes with their gear.

Besides CeramicSpeed and Shimano Di2

absolutely dominating their individual categories,

the types of wheels, the types of cranks,

the types of rubber, the types of saddles.

Basically everything was like this hodgepodge

of triathletes using whatever they found

worked well for them.

So the lesson in that is that you have to train a lot,

you've gotta race a lot,

you've gotta try a lot of gear.

You've gotta watch a lot of Triathlon Taren videos

to get a lot of different ideas for what might

and might not work for you.

Try it all, and then start incorporating that into races.

See how it works for you,

and then the more you do it, the more your gonna be able

to dial in your exact setup, training schedule,

race plan, all that stuff.

And then finally, the last thing that we can learn

from the pros in Kona is that they go into a race

and we should be going into a race

mentally prepared to suffer.

Pros from back in the day like Chris McCormack,

who won twice, saying that he was preparing himself mentally

to basically accept pain as a friend when it came up.

So six hours into the race when all of a sudden,

he'd start getting a stitch, he was ready

to say oh, hello pain.

Thank you for coming here.

That means that I'm pushing myself really hard.

So instead of when pain comes up and thinking

oh, I'm in such pain, maybe I should stop,

you have to mentally prepare yourself for it to come

because in every race, it comes on.

We're gonna have that self-talk in our head telling us

to stop, telling us to walk, telling us to take it easy,

but if we've prepared ourself leading into that

that the pain is gonna come and it's just part of the race

and that's a good thing, then we're prepared to do it.

And something that Mark Allen said

when we had him on the podcast.

By the way, Triathlon Taren podcast is fricking killing it.

Thank you all.

If you haven't subscribed yet, go check it out.

Go subscribe.

We have an excellent podcast out right now

with an age grouper, Ben Fuqua.

And Mark Allen would say that if you can prepare your mind

to have that chatter turn off quicker than the other people,

that's a huge leg up because the stress

that your brain and your body goes through

with that constant negative talk for minutes or hours

on end in a race, that's draining on your body.

So there we go, trainiacs.

Even though Kona is a month and a help since gone,

pros don't talk about their race strategy,

their nutrition plan.

Quite often, they're changing gear right up

until the bike check-in the night before the race,

so coming into something like Kona,

because pros are so secretive, we don't necessarily know

a whole lot about what goes into that race.

Now that we are out of Kona, we can start finding out more

about what their mental state was like

and what their preparation was like leading

into these races.

So I am gonna beat this dead horse of Kona

for as long as you'll let me

because I love analyzing it and it's a lot of fun.

Kona.

QuickJack Hack to Bleed New Hydraulic Cylinders - Duration: 1:55.

Welcome once again to Quick Tips.

I'm Max, I'm back, and I have a great tip for you this week.

Back when we did our very first video, which evolved into this Quick Tips series, we addressed

the most common mistake people make when installing QuickJack.

Everyday QuickJack portable car lift is improperly

Installed simply because the owner hasn't read the manual.

When first lifting, it's common for the frames to move unevenly.

That's simply the hydraulic fluid pressurizing

That's the one.

The biggest part of stopping your frames from lifting unevenly is making sure the frames

are equally pressurized.

This means bleeding all the air out of them.

In our instruction manual, we provide one way to do this.

Simply use a hex key, sometimes called an Allen wrench, to let air out of the cylinder.

This works some of the time, but it might not be enough.

Just like with this bottle of water, if this cap is the cylinder valve, and the water inside

is hydraulic fluid, I can't get all the air out because it's blocked by fluid.

But, if I turn the bottle up, we see the air is free and can be easily released.

You can do this with QuickJack too.

All you need to do is lift the frame, so the valve faces up.

Be careful though.

You don't want the frame slipping around on you while you do this.

Our friend Tim can show you exactly how it's done.

And that's exactly how it's done.

Bleeding new cylinders goes a long way toward getting the frames equally pressurized.

And you know, QuickJack works pretty well under pressure.

Make sure you subscribe to this channel and like this video.

No pressure.

Join me next week for another great tip in paradise.

YouTuber FaZe Banks Breaks Hand During Alissa Violet ATTACK - Duration: 4:22.

Faze Banks has broken his hand in a fight that broke out involving him and Jake Paul's

ex Alissa Violet.

Hello and welcome back to Inform Overload, I am Rebecca Felgate and today we are talking

some Youtube Drama.

So, it seems Faze Banks and Alissa Violet were out over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend

in Cleveland, Ohio.

They were at a bar called the Barley House and they feel they were treated unfairly.

The drama emerged as Violet and Banks posted videos on their snapchats accusing the bar

of mistreating them.

She also posted an image of herself with a swollen eye and a bloodied lip.

It seems that, somewhere in the mayhem, Banks broke his finger in a fight with club bouncers

an had to go to hospital.

As with most Youtube and social media drama, the details are pretty sketchy.

It seems like both Banks and Violet were drunk, and somehow things escalated between he and

a member of staff, leading to a fight.

As the pair were asked and were reluctant to leave the premises, two women attacked

Violet.

After an onslaught of online and physical hate from the Cloutgang, the name of Banks

and violets fans, The Barley House posted a statement on facebook.

They said To Whom it May Concern; We have done an internal investigation and

have come to the conclusion that our employees did an exceptional job handling the situation

that was instigated on three separate occasions throughout the night by Ricky Banks and Alissa

Violet.

We have also come to the conclusion that Ricky and Alissa are instigators, liars, and manipulators.

They are trying to use their social media influence to not only destroy our business,

but to encourage people to harm our employees physically and emotionally.

So it appears that the Cloutgang are lashing out.

Although to me, the whole issue seems to be that people are to quick to jump to violence

to solve issues.

It seems that the youtubers haven't been the only ones to be mistreated by the Barley

House ,Faze Banks also posted a number of their Yelp reviews on his social media which

alleges that they were assaulted by the security team.

While it is possible that Banks and Violet were behaving badly, is it okay to physically

attack them to the point that where a woman gets a black eye and a bloodied lip and another

breaks bones in a punch up…again…it is hard to know exactly what happened or whether

or not this whole thing is another instance of faked youtube drama for views.

Banks tweeted : I swear me and this poor girl have the worst luck.

Can't wait til I can pick her up and move far away to a private island….

All I am saying is that if you make a career out of drama and getting paid for….drama

is what you will get….

I am over this… but I have to say it does suck that people got hurt.

Before we get out of this video, I just want to quickly respond to a couple of comments

from Charlottes video yesterday about a woman who fell off a building when taking a dangerous

selfie…

Erica Stones made a good point – she said Come on people stop being stupid or Charlotte

won't get to hug an alien if they see us caring about doing "epic" and "dangerous" selfies.

I do selfies but within reason.?

Brisk Gaming said: Why are so many people risking their lives for just a selfie?!

Like what's the point?'

What do you prefer fame or life??

Excellent point…

I think I know what the answer is with Faze banks and Alissa Violet.

So that is all we have time for here….what did you guys think to this story?

Were banks and violet in the right or do they need to check themselves and their behaviour?

Let me know For now, I am RF…etc

(subs) Yagudin: One day in Tarasova's school PART3 - Duration: 11:44.

We go back to the ice.

to a tree tree didn't move it that tree jumped right out in front of me didn't move no sir

anybody ever offer your solution at all not one that didn't cost thousands and

thousands and thousands like a mortgage the cheapest one was to get all dentures

on top which is that's the cheapest ones what's the most expensive one? was the implants you ever get an idea

what it would probably cost you? about 3,000 a tooth - A tooth?

You needed how many teeth- ten fifteen - yeah so you buy a house you live in

yes sir what do you do for a living? I'm a wildlife specialist I actually go out and

remove and relocate and rescue animals front staff today - they told me that you caught a beaver

yes sir and then came here you're like take it, take it somewhere else and

head over here? Yeah I had a beaver a raccoon and a skunk

As a wildlife guy what does your day consist of? on an easy day like today

I mean I go out buy stomp around in the ponds and set beaver snares so you just do

beavers there's no I do everything everything from rats all the way to coyotes

bobcats on their hands what do you do when you catch a freaking bobcat? just watch it grab

it really What do you do with a coyote? Usually I travel And do what?! and release them, take them

to another location in the country what do they do, say thanks for the ride? No, I wish! They try to

very close Your little boy hadn't seen you smile in couple years

very seldom I gotta ask what do you think having a bad smile has cost you

is it yeah some strangers you know people that I don't really know closely

it doesn't really bother me that much it's the people that are closest to me

is where it really bothers me I can tell you that what made me look at this thing

is that I got a text that said if you're if you're interested in helping that really

a really, really good man and how do you turn that down from what

I understand you've got a lot going on yes sir these guys will suffer it if you're a girl you've got a

different set of challenges yeah and and that's one of the things I

want to tell these guys is that you know 26 36 or 56 you have to know you have a

choice what are you hoping these do for you?

honestly I just want to be able to smile again. Just be a dad Just not to worry just not

taking negative and not have to be excused I always tell people it's not

about your smile it's who you are when you're smiling if you're doing this or

if you're looking down or if you look away then these people didn't get to see

you for a little bit and you learn to play it down so when you when you start

getting those happy modes and stuff like that you know you just kind of play it

down a little bit and not smile as much and not laugh as much and honestly it it

hurts a little bit it's yeah you're right I forget about that

A few dentists will go online and say what they do is impossible because you

can't take the impression yourself Did you have any problem with the impression? I had no problem with

it actually Did it scare you? No it's actually really simple it's almost like

How do you explain it okay I played it high school football Oh you did. It's just almost like fitting in your

mouth guard except you don't have to boil it mix it up put it in there pop it up

there I would and it's it was real simple

all the steps are right there you got to read it but I guess it's important to

you read every instruction yes sir let's see if we can get past it I think we got

something that's going to work I'm excited It'll feel a little weird but let's do it.Yes sir, let me get them ready for you.

To be honest I'm a little nervous. You gotta be. You think you're nervous, I'm nervous.

Boom. That's a good spot. There you go, buddy.

Let's try this in. Top? Top, yes sir.

Let's see what it looks like. Oh. Smile back. You're going to be amazed. You're fixing to change your life.

you've got to do they feel like you're sitting okay I think you're gonna see

introduce a whole other person to the world and the reason being is I've seen

seen a quarter of it and what I'm seeing right now is amazing and you're used to

everyone seeing your top teeth back behind your bottom teeth yeah for the first

time you're gonna see yourself with front teeth in front of your bottom

The way they're supposed to be. Yeah. Let's see what they look like.

You've got to pull your teeth open.

you're doing it brother looks amazing you haven't seen that in years

what do you think It's awesome. You would have never been one of these guys that go I want a

perfect smile but then all of a sudden we take this little you know this

I guess hunter type guy and gave them perfect teeth and they just look amazing on you

It's awesome

that's gotta be crazy

You're shocked. it's gonna take you three days to get used to wearing them I told you that

you have a pretty good name people say good things about you

Yes sir. But you don't do it because in other words then no one go he's got..

you're not one of these guys that just tries to get his features recognized but

in a few days you're gonna realize that when you smile that's a compliment to

people because they want to see you smile Yeah. Yeah.

you know is all you needed We did it man I told you we were gonna do it, it's just hard

I'm scared as you are man we're doing this together I didn't know what's gonna

make your little boys gonna see you a little bit

what's he gonna s ay He't not going to know what to say. he's 5 he loves his dad your friends are gonna see but

he's gonna see you smile That's so awesome.

not gonna learn to shut your mouth anymore

you gotta realize now if they catch you smiling you look better not not average

I always tell people it's not about their smile but in this situation you're

gonna have an exceptional smile it's gonna be exceptional never tried these

in before you gotta can't wait to wear these out there's got to be somebody

I know one person right now. Can't wait to show them her?

good girl? yeah it's amazing what gets us out of bed sometimes Man you did it

all you're the one. The whole deal is the smile fits the person we don't want to be something

else for their closet or something else for their dresser drawer we want it to be

something that's an asset for them something that's a real tool because I think of all the things

you're gonna do you know that we say a white shirt a reason to wear it but

if you happen to cover your smile I just think you're gonna do some good things with it. Wow.

I'm blown away. it's good to be in shock! We did it!

Today has been amazing

I walked in here..

completely insecure about my smile and they were just Bil is an amazing guy and he's able

to do something that they pretty much gave my life back I'm gonna be able

to walk out of here with a big old smile on my face

haven't been able to do that in years I'm excited to share with the world I'm

still blown away

Chris Soules Granted Permission to Remove Ankle Monitor | Daily Celebrity News | Splash TV - Duration: 1:08.

Former Bachelor star Chris Soules has been granted the right to remove his court-ordered

ankle monitor after he was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal crash back in April.

According to Us Magazine, the reality TV star attended a two-hour court hearing in Iowa

where he filed a motion to dismiss the felony charge.

Soules was reportedly responsible for hitting a man riding a tractor with his truck, which

led to the death of the tractor driver.

According to Us Magazine, Soules' lawyers played 9-1-1 tapes for the court, and claim

"He then did the morally and legally responsible thing by staying on the scene and remaining

on the scene of the accident until emergency governmental authorities arrived."

Apparently prosecutors argue that he only stayed on the scene for 14 minutes, and officers

didn't get enough time to thoroughly investigate.

The court will reportedly make their decision whether or not to dismiss the felony charge

on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
