3 Months Later Finds Letter That Leaves Him In Tears
For most people, donating an organ to a family member would be a big decision, but one anonymous
hero decided he would take things a step further and make the sacrifice for a total stranger.
The 32-year-old man from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who goes by TheBartian, said he has wanted
to donate one of his kidneys for a long time.
He always felt that, since he had two healthy kidneys and others were dying because they
needed one, it was his duty to donate.
He worked hard to get healthy and in shape so he could donate.
The first couple of times he thought he had found his recipient, things came up that prevented
him from donating.
At one point he was getting ready to donate when doctors found a sore on the recipient's
foot.
They would have to wait for it to heal before doing the surgery.
They asked TheBartian if he would rather wait to donate or give his kidney to the next person
on the list.
He decided on the latter, knowing that would help more people get their needed kidneys
faster.
TheBartian did all of this without ever expecting anything in return, but about three months
after the surgery, he got a letter in the mail that left him stunned:
Hello, my name is [redacted].
I am 63 years old and I have a son named S. When S. was 6 years old his mother passed
away after battling cancer for 5 years.
This has put me and my son very close.
After many years I remarried a lady named [redacted].
We live on a small farm in a town called [redacted].
I now have 3 grandsons named [redacted], [redacted],and [redacted].
My son and my 3 grand sons are my life, I do not do anything without one of the 4.
Because of the gift you gave me on Jan 5th 2017 I think I will get to see more basketball
games, more baseball games, and more football games.
I really want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, because of you I am going to
have a better and longer life.

While his donation may not have seemed like a big deal to TheBartian, to the man who received
the kidney it was life-changing.
What an incredible, selfless act!
Because of his sacrifice, another person had the chance to live!

With a waterfall splashing over her head, Vanessa closed her eyes and tilted her head back to avoid any water going into her eyes.
She also whipped her raven locks back and forth to feel the full extent of the powerful jungle.
Feeling fulfilled after her refreshing shower, Vanessa proceeded to pat herself dry with a red towel.
Despite being one of the series beauties, the pop star previously suggested that viewers wouldnt catch her pulling a Myleene Klass by enjoying a soak in a white bikini.

Meanwhile, Vanessa was left screaming with terror after enduring two critter-infested trials in one day recently.
The star was showered with thousands of cockroaches, crickets and mealworms in the process before declaring the experience the most traumatising thing she had ever done in her life.
Upon arrival when asked about the reasoning behind The Saturdays name, Vanessa explained: Its everyones favourite day of the week.

Today, I'm going to introduce some padded jackets to you, that are nice in price
If you've seen the intro, there are three jackets
The brand is Alpenglow!
Even though long padded jackets are in trend
I brought one long one and two middle lined ones
An interesting point of this brand is
The production line is the same as expensive brands
But, you know that the expensive brands have some bubble in the price
It's almost like some high-end brands' bubble
But, the padded jackets from here were launched to get rid of the bubble
It's really better than I expected
That's why I'm introducing them to you
Shall we take a look?
The first one is~ Tada~
It's called Maroonbell long padded jacket (premium duck down, cotton 80%, feather 20%)
I wore this one (premium duck down, cotton 80%, feather 20%)
The fit isn't fat, neither slim, it's just good
So, if you're finding such one, you'll like it
And this came out in unisex sizes
It's waterproof, and stops wind

If your stride is wide, it'll be more uncomfortable to be active

Hi everyone. I'm rincey and i am one of the contributing editors over at book
riot and i am back with another new release tuesday video. Today i'm talking
about books that come out on Tuesday, November 28th. The first book i'm going
to talk about is Djinn city by saad z. Hossain. Indelbed is this kid who is
growing up in this crumbling mansion in the super dense, super chaotic, third
world capital city of Bangladesh. His father is the black sheep of the family.
He's a drunken widower and he refuses to let his son Indelbed go off to school.
And the only thing that Indelbed knows about his mother is the fact that he is
the cause of her death. But when Indelbed's father falls into the supernatural coma,
Indelbed and his cousin find out that his father was actually a magician and
was an emissary between the djinn world and the world that he lives in. And it
also turns out that the djinns are extremely displeased. So a hunt has been
announced and Indelbed is actually the prey of the hunt. So while he's reeling
from this situation with his father as well as finding out that the djinn world
is an actual thing, he is actually on the run. Soon these two boys are at the
center of this great djinn controversy, one that's tied to this continuing
fallout from an ancient war. And it has ramifications for the life that we
currently know. Saad Hossain wrote the book escaped from
baghdad which came out a couple of years ago and was sort of like this cult hit.
And this one is another dark comedic fantasy adventure that explores this
arabian myth of djinns and looks what this supernatural species is forced to
do because of the ineptitude of humans. So again that's djinn city by saad hussain.

book in the loyal league series. For all of the war between states, Marley Lynch
has helped the cause in peace with coated leathers about anti-rebel
uprisings happening in the Carolinas to silent aid to freeing slaves and freemen
alike. Her formerly enslaved mother's
traditions and the name of a white father that she never knew have
protected her so far. Until the Confederate home guard claims her home
as their new base of operations in this guerrilla war that's happening against
southern resistors for the rebel cause. Unbeknownst to the people who are
currently taking over her home, escaped prisoner Ewan McCall is currently
taking shelter in her laboratory. Seemingly a quiet philosopher, Ewan
has his own history with the cruel captain of the Home Guard and a
thoughtful but unbending strength that Marley finds irresistible. When the

I had heard about the Summit before, but we never had the opportunity to come.
And I'm quite surprised. The event is amazing,

I think the structure both to speakers and visitors is excellent.
There are a lot of nice contents, I saw many interesting things.
And I really am quite surprised.
The only thing that came to mind was: How come we didn't do this before?

Your lecture was about how Facebook evolved from
a social network to a real marketing platform.
Many people who are watching us here were not able to watch the lecture.
It would be nice if you could tell us how this movement happened.
What does it mean to go from a social network to a marketing platform?
What did you tell people who watched your lecture?
I tried to talk about each of this transition phases.
So, from the beginning, what is Facebook for?
How is it made? What is our mission as a company?
And we went through many moments.
From people as the center of the discovery,
until the platform evolution, how consumption has changed over time.
How people consume medias.
We emphasized mobiles a lot,
A platform that is being more and more consumed.
And the way people have connected.
So, we started from this and went until the solutions part.
We talked a lot about products, what products Facebook has to offer.
We ended talking about the partnership between RD and Facebook,
Today, the majority of our tools
are going to be available inside RD Station,
people will be able to create Facebook campaigns inside RD Station,
and use all that we offer in our platform through RD.
This is amazing.
You mentioned mobile, a very interesting subject,
because almost all digital inclusion in Brazil happens via mobile.
We have more people using cell phones than computers.
In fact, I imagine many people find Facebook out
and start using it via mobile, which is much more present in their lives.
How has Facebook had to adapt itself for this new world?
How has Facebook looked at the increasing mobile consumption
to be able to attend this demand
and to offer a good experience to those connected via cell phone?
It's true what you said. Consumption through mobile is in fact larger.
We showed that one in five minutes spent in mobile apps
are with Facebook and Instagram.
So, today it's a high consumption
And in the past
the company's direction changed drastically.
We were working hard to develop desktop solutions
and seen the quick mobile growth
the company invested a lot in mobile solutions..
So, today we can comfortably say that
we are the leaders in mobile
and this is a product that is present in every moment of people's lives.
From the moment they wake up, go to work,
in their work computer, or computer at home.
So, on Facebook you are the same person in different platforms.
To me, to take a last look at Instagram before going to sleep
-is part of my routine. -It's sacrad!
Most of the time we talk to small and medium companies.
Many times they have limited budget
and need to choose well their actions, so that they can work
and at the same time, they want to grow and sell more.
and take advantage of the internet somehow,
to create a growth channel.
How can Facebook help small and medium companies?
How can a businessman count on Facebook, what can he do
to get better results using Facebook
and all the other surrounding platforms such as Instagram and WhatsApp?
This is a very important point to us
So, our company mission is to connect all people
and give them power to create communities
and make this a more connected world.
So, if you think about it today, our mission to connect people
also involves business owners
who want to find clients.
So, let me bring this to Brazil's reality.
In Brazil today we're 113 million people
using our platform every month.
and 88 million Brazilians use our platform daily.
Facebook is the place where people are.
If you think about it, nobody stands on the bus line searching on internet.
People are using Instagram, Facebook.
So, for the small and medium businesses be successful
I think it's important to be present in the platform.
We have a blog where we post many tips.
There's a support center to the ones who want to start advertising.
There are many points and channels to communicate to us.
So that they start having information
so that they have access and can understand the impact they'll have
creating a campaign in our platform.

Obviously, RD has lots of contents about Facebook that can be used as well.
Márcio, one thing I find very nice in companies such as Facebook
is that they have a very direct influence in our lives
not only the current impact,
but also a lot of what they do and how the plan things
is in some way building our future.
These companies are quite concerned about the next 5, 10, 15 years,
taking incredible actions towards that.
Facebook has an incredible initiative to take internet to the whole world.
But besides that, there's the product and platform vision.
And many things that are constantly evolving.
I don't know how much you can share of Facebook's secrets,
but how do you see the next five years?
People ask me that when I'm in digital marketing lectures.
