So I could register my class without any problems!

Tomato Rice Recipe (Malaysian style) - Duration: 5:54.

Today I want to introduce to you the Malaysian tomato rice, a dish that has to be tasted

to be believed.

Malaysian tomato rice is prepared with a plethora of spices and fresh ingredients, transform

the ordinary ingredients to a rice dish heavily scented with spices.

Fit for any banquet tables for festive occasion.

I bet you would like to give it a try.

Rinse the rice with water just like preparing for any steamed rice.

Soak the rice for at least half an hour before cooking.

Rice that is pre-soaked has a softer and lighter texture.

Heat some ghee or butter in a saucepan.

Add the dry spice (cloves, cinnamon, star anise, and cardamom) into the pan over low

heat and saute until aromatic.

Cut the onion into thin slices and loosen it before adding to the pan and let it brown

evenly.

Add the sliced garlic, and minced ginger to the saucepan.

You will start to smell the aroma rising from the pan at this point.

Continue stir-frying over low to medium heat until the onions start to turn soft and slightly

brown.

Chopped two tomatoes into small chunks and add to the mixture into the saucepan.

Add some tomato puree in addition to the fresh tomatoes.

Season it with salt and add sufficient water to cook the rice.

Pour the tomato mixture into the rice cooker.

Add the pandan leaf.

Add the rice, give it a stir, cover and let the rice cooker do the job for you.

Remove the lid to let the steam to release.

Loosen the rice by fluffing it while it is still warm.

Otherwise, it will form lumps after it cools down.

Scoop the rice onto the serving plate.

Topped with some roasted cashew nuts.

Some chopped coriander leaves, red chili, some raisins and sprinkle some fried shallot

on it.

Now you have a bowl of lovely tomato rice with a chorus of aromas hits your nose.

That is how I prepare the Malaysian style tomato rice.

It is best to serve with Ayam Masak Merah (chicken stew in tomato sauce) and dhal curry.

We got postcards from Warsaw!

It is a really weird experience because we are at the Polish festival in Seoul

There were a few performances, dance performances and vocal performances

In Polish but performed by Koreans

And there was food! Especially pierogi

It's the most important

We are going to Grevin museum right now

We finished our museum tour

If you are with us for a longer time, you perfectly know that Demian takes a big part of my life

As I found out, Koreans love Demian

Polish people doesn't know this book

Koreans even make accessories with it

So I am starting my haul

A book!

I have the Polish version already

I got the Polish version from Ann for my birthday

I also decided to buy the Korean version

However it's not the same version as RM's

But I got it

So I have the Korean version of Demian

I will read it some day

For sure!

BUT!

Besides the book... Okay, it's gonna get weird

Because I got...

A plate

I have to put my albums and books somewhere

So I also bought this

The plate surprised me a bit

This thing surprised me even more

But I also saw other Demian-related stuff I am planning to buy

This haul is gonna grow bigger

It really made my mood better

Seriously, it did!

I even don't know why

I bought some weird things related to a book

I bought a book in Korean which I do not understand but it doesn't matter

I can almost quote this book in Polish

I feel better now!

It's time to finish this vlog

This day was really exhausting

It's time to sleep because tomorrow we have even more plans

This time everything has to succeed

I can even check the map 25 times to make sure if we get the right way

So we can avoid a situation like today that we are in the middle of the forest
