Youtube daily report Nov 13 2017

Hello lovelies and welcome back

to my Youtube Channel! I just bought a new studio light

so if you're seeing me quite pale, don't worry, it's not the new light

the light works okay, it's me cause I need to go to the beach 🙃

On today's video I'm talking about something you've been asking me for so long,

I keep getting e-mails asking about this because

the first and second video I did about this, which I uploaded

I think last year, or the year before... sometime around there (I'm leaving the links up here)

didn't really clear up all your queries, so here's the thing:

I want to solve as many of the queries as you may have so

that I can receive fewer e-mails each time

so as you keep asking, let's just repeat it, see if this time I don't leave anything behind

and hopefully it will be helpful!

It's not gonna be a video about how to get into Central Saint Martins or London College of Fashion

I'm not gonna talk about anything related to fashion,

so if this is what you're looking for, it's not this.

This is a general video about High School/Sixth Form in general.

If you want that video instead, then just let me know and I'll get it ready and post it in the future 😊

Once I've said this, I think it's enough for the introduction

let's go to the video!

Let's start from the beginning: when I was in year 11, I had to choose my subjects for Sixth From

and it had to be between science-based, language-based or art-based subjects,

which weren't that much of art-based anyway,

not too focused on what I wanted to do.

so what was the problem? That I didn't like either science, nor

language, nor art. So I thought: what kind of problem

is there with me, that I don't like anything?

Am I not good at anything or good for anything?

And after thinking a bit about it, I realised the problem wasn't with me but with the place where I was.

So if you, watching me, thinks there's a problem with you

or with that you want, that it's not possible...

or that you're the creepy one for wanting it,

I want you to know that the problem is not with you, but with the place you're in. And my solution was to move

to another place. I have now finished Secondary School, Sixth Form,

Foundation and I'm studying my BA in footwear design in London.

It's something really specific so that's why I left and moved to the UK, cause

if I came from Spain, it would've basically been impossible.

How did we found about Sixth From abroad?

My mum and I attended a university fair in Barcelona

I can't really remember the name but I'll leave it written here.

And we went looking for something that suited my needs

and what I wanted to study, or more or less around that.

We didn't really find anything as I was looking for Sixth Form

and everything there was for Uni,

so there in Barcelona, we went to see an agency we had found on the internet,

a scholarship agency called MCM.

Their website is mcm.info

You cand e-mail them and ask them, cause please also note

that I'm speaking from my experience but they're speaking from knowledge and data.

So if you talk to them, then better. You don't have to travel to Barcelona,

you can just e-mail them and they will answer.

So what did MCM tell us? I told them I wanted to study at Central Saint Martins,

which is a Design university in London, the best one in the world at the moment,

and they told me that if I applied from Spain,

my possibilities of being accepted would be less than 1%,

whilst if I studied Sixth Form in the UK,

my possibilities would be of at least 70%.

So the decision was basically made.

Also, knot that the fact that I went with this agency doesn't mean

it's the best or only one, cause although it did have many good things,

they also had other things that weren't that good. So, if you're thinking about it, you don't HAVE

to go with this one, there are many others out there

which might be better and more suitable for you.

This agency will also provide you with cost information,

information on studying a year in one place and then move for the next one,

where you can stay... etc. All those things I don't know much about

as I didn't haver to deal with any of those situations.

So any of these questions you've sent me, I suggest you ask them instead,

as they will definitely be there to help you.

So what did this agency do? They took my grades,

interviewed me,

English tests, Maths tests... and found different schools

and they kind of "showed me off" to them

to see which ones would be interested in having me as a student.

Once we had found a few, I made my own selection

and chose a school called Shaftesbury School

in a town called Shaftesbury in south England.

I don't know if I've said it yet, but MCM is a scholarship agency

their aim is to find scholarships for you in different placesI

I didn't have to pay any tuition fees here, but I did have to pay something for my accommodation

I don't know how much it was, please don't ask me,

your conditions are different to mine and the prices will be different

and even if I knew I told you it would have nothing to do with what your costs will be

but, I must say, start looking at this with enough time in advance,

the sooner the better, as you will have more options,

and it will sure be cheaper. Okay, so, why did I have

to study in the UK, and not in Spain?

Cause Sixth Form in the UK is super specific,

I literally had three subjects which were Spanish,

textile design, graphic design and arts&crafts,

and then had do take GCSE

for English and Maths (year 11 exams)

cause the English government made it compulsory for foreigners.

But this is you can have an idea, these were my only subjects,

I didn't have language, history... nothing like that

as my Sixth Form was really completely focused on what I wanted to do, design.

Also, you have the same amount of work as any other country in the world

you don't work less in one place than in another

so although they were only 4 subjects (you choose between 3 and 5)

I had 4.

The work you get for those 3 subjects is like... if in Spain you have 12 subjects,

you're gonna do the same work as if it was for those 12,

so all the work and what you're gonna have to study for each of your subjects

is going to be 3 times one subject in Spain.

so they're not chill subjects.

If you're gonna ask me about validation in your country,

I have nooo idea, I looked for it once

but I've never considered studying in Spain

so I have literally no idea about this,

but if you ask MCM, they'll be able to help you 😊

they speak from knowledge as I said 💃🏽

My general experience, which you've asked me about too,

was, cause it was a while ago,

amazing. I am a person which was convinced about the idea of going abroad,

I was tired of my routine and needed to leave,

start from 0 somewhere else, have new experiences,

think out of the box

and come out of my comfort zone.

So to me, as I've always wanted to study abroad, it was an incredible experience

I can't really describe it in any other words,

I know there are people who struggle with this,

who don't feel comfortable or "at home"

and who really want to go back to Spain, or to

Chile or Argentina, wherever you're watching me form as I've received e-mails from all over the world! haha

I think something that also influenced in this was the fact that I was doing what I liked,

studying, and what I can say is, that from that moment

I started studying Sixth Form, I've never thought again of school or uni

as a place where I HAVE to go

but a place where I'm studying and learning what I'm passionate about

and going there because I want to and not because I had to finish Sixth Form,

or cause I have to finish uni, or whatever.

I consider I do it because I honestly love it, so it's as if

I was basically doing my hobbies everyday haha

Tips I give to people who are leaving soon

or are already studying abroad

who want to feel more at home or really miss it

I suggest that if you really don't like it, make yourself conscious that it's not forever

it's not the end of the world and it will end at some point,

so if this helps you, thinking about

the time when you'll be leaving, then go for it

I also suggest that you make friends out of your space, not only from

the place where you're staying, boarding house or family house,

also from your class too. Don't only spend time

with people from your country, but also people from other places.

My roommates where all from different places: Madrid,

Zambia, Nigeria, and we were all really good friends.

My school friends which still come to visit sometimes to London and who I still stay in touch with

are all from there, from London...

and other places in the UK 😂

Also, my room was completely covered with photos

of my fiends and family back in Tenerife, you couldn't even see the wall

it was completely covered with photos!

And that made me feel at home and as if they were still with me.

I also skyped and facetimed my friends and family in Tenerife

and also other friends who where also studying abroad

So really, it's a way of understanding that you have the best of the two places

your friends back home are still gonna be there when you return

there will be people who will obviously come out of your life, but they were gonna do so anyway

sooner or later, but your real and true friends are still gonna be there when you return

they're not gonna move and they're not gonna change.

My friends back in Tenerife are still always there for me!

And then other tips in general:

Know that to study in the UK,

you don't need any special qualification before going,

you just finish Year 11 (UK system) and continue to Sixth Form

You don't have to repeat a year or anything. Your English, has to be good,

but it doesn't have to be incredible cause you're there to learn.

Start as early as you can looking for agencies and schools,

don't leave it for the last moment. I started looking for it I think in February

and I was starting in September,

and it was quite tight. I suggest you start asap

cause the sooner you start, you might even find

something you can do before Sixth Form which you really like, and you're not going to find it

if you don't look for it! Also, look at different agencies,

not only the one I told you about. In your country, wherever you're watching me from,

different agencies, let's see what each of them offer

and don't only stay to one. Work really hard,

I wasn't expecting my grades from Year 8 to be any useful,

and actually the first thing they asked me about were my grades form Year 8 to Year 11...

so work really hard and rise your average grade!

And that studying Sixth Form in the UK was the best decision I've made in my life

I think that... yeah, it's definitely the best one I've made

cause it's given me so many things afterwards that are the ones

that make me happy today... so yeah,

best decision in my life, and I won way more than I lost,

everything I learned, everything I know now...

if you've seen my portfolio video, which I'm leaving here

I literally cried in my first art lesson, it's something that

I loved! Best decision in my life. Also, I'm leaving important videos, as I just said,

my portfolio one and another one

from the girls of Muy Manana they uploaded about going abroad for Erasmus,

that if you need that last little push to say "come on, I'm going"

if you watch that video, then it will totally convince you.

not only if you wanna do Erasmus, but obviously Sixth Form,

You can apply it to everything 😊 Also, I have to say that anything that looks with favor on education

is always, absolutely always gonna be good for you.

and knowing languages is something that is honestly

one of the things that fascinates me the most about human nature and history.

Lastly, obviously, if you have any other questions,

any other queries, you can always e-mail me, send me a message on

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter... wherever you want to.

All the handles are bouncing around here. Or around here. Whichever.

and any e-mail with your questions, I honestly always answer,

I also answer messages so if you write to me, I promise I'll get back to you.

Lots of kissesssss, if you've liked it, then click like!

share this if there's anyone that might be interested in this:

friends, family, ex-boyfriends or girlfriends... whoever!

Share it with them too, and... well, that's it!

Huge kiss and I'll see you on the next video! I love u❤️.

and that Billy is why do not rescue

dinosaur babies

[Music]

Wow it's great to see you again I found

an awesome dyno on eBay this is a

repaint of the original t-rex from the

Jurassic world toys this one here is a

Jurassic Park young t-rex I'll be

reviewing this one soon I am buying a

bunch of Jurassic Park dinosaur toys

which were requested of me so I'll be

reviewing those soon ba this one's cool

it's got like the dinos damage its ribs

sticking out this one is g po6

so this one just a quick look today I

like I said I'll be doing a full review

on this one soon but this is the one I'm

focusing on today so here is the

original Jurassic world t-rex doesn't

want to stand and this is the repaint so

uh like I said I bought this off eBay I

mean the art is did a great job

repainting this so we're gonna go ahead

and compare the two I'll by the way if

you did like the cool battle off the

beginning let me know by the comments

okay so anyways the head of this one you

can see the original one was like a tan

Ian Brown so this one is red and black

they kept the yellow eyes so that's cool

ah nice repaint I mean a few places

you'll see here this is supposed to be a

scratch not overrun ah you'll see later

on its body

yes scratches there too so this is the

one that had the button you push the

button on the back and it jumps it small

so uh they did get some paint on the

tongue there so that's a little

disappointing but the odd teeth look

cool and then going on down its body I

really do like this repaint because I

love the colors

the dark red and the black go really

good with this dinosaur so here you can

see like I said dark red and black and

here you can see they put scratches in

to the t-rex like it was battling the

original one does not have any scratches

and if you ask me the original one that

that is a really

so uh the black spot the black stripes

it didn't pull down this guy or cool and

then they did a great job down here you

see like dark red and you see like the

fading like the black here with black

nails so the black nails are from the

original so looks like that was left

alone but I like the fading effect and

then you've got the same thing going

down the tail here with the stripes so

here the same thing well let me know

what you guys think to be the repaint

looks a lot cooler I mean look at the

original on the right here and like wait

guys boring looking is just like a light

tan brown color everywhere with like a

light yellowish color on the bottom this

one's like brighter ok the paintings not

the greatest here you can see through it

the same movement on the arms and

everything so uh I did a full review and

battle of the original so you could go

ahead and see that but uh these guys

could have a fun battle - I mean you've

got the action button so you could have

them just fighting each other here so

anyways let me know what you guys think

of that repaint because if you guys

liked it

I plan on buying more of them because I

think it's

okay that was awesome and if you guys

did like that

Jurassic Park mobile command I'll put a

link below the video where you buy it on

eBay and also where you could buy other

Jurassic Park toys that was totally

awesome guys if you enjoyed that please

go ahead and click like drop in comments

let me know what other videos you want

to see I do take your all comments to

heart and I do follow a lot of your

suggestions I do got over a thousand

What To Do In Rotterdam, The Netherlands | Eileen Aldis Travel Channel - Duration: 7:10.

Hi guys!

Today's video is a city tour or guide of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

I feel like cities are a little bit like people.

Sometimes they're shy, a bit reserved, it's a little bit harder,

takes more effort to get to know them.

Sometimes people just stick their hand out and give you a firm handshake

and you get this immediate sense of exactly who they are.

I feel like Rotterdam is definitely in the latter category.

The word that I think of when I picture the city of Rotterdam is vision.

Above all, the city has vision.

It knows what it wants to be and how it wants to be perceived.

And when you look to its history and the photos of the past

you see that during the Second World War Rotterdam was completely destroyed.

And the city used that absolute devastation as an opportunity

to rebuild something new, something different.

Really like a phoenix just rising from the ashes of war.

It was a tabula rasa - a completely blank canvas - for architects and artists

and they took advantage of that opportunity.

When you're walking around the streets of Rotterdam,

to me, there's a very clear choice that you see all around you.

This was a city that was levelled by war - absolute devastation -

and there's a choice to rebuild something new, something modern

and that choice is all around you and that's why I find Rotterdam inspiring.

Because you see the future, and hope for the future, everywhere you look.

For me, the perfect symbol for Rotterdam is the Floating Forest.

It's the first of its kind anywhere in the world

and it consists of 20 floating trees in the harbour.

It calls attention to art, innovation, and sustainability

which are all things that Rotterdam cultivates.

And one of Rotterdam's defining features is its harbour.

It's the largest harbour in Europe and you honestly can't talk about Rotterdam without mentioning the water.

And these 20 live trees are bobbing around on the water in old sea buoys.

The trees themselves are also recycled in a way because they come from the city's tree bank.

So there are 20 trees out on the water and a 21st tree is located on the land

so that you can look at it up close.

And the artists, Jorge Bakker, hopes that the forest will raise questions

about the relationship between the city dweller and nature.

And I think, in this time of climate change, this is not only relevant to Rotterdam

but to the entire world.

The water is such an important feature of Rotterdam

and so is the Erasmus Bridge or, in Dutch, the Erasmusbrug.

It separates northern and southern Rotterdam.

It's a suspension bridge built from light blue steel and it's 800 metres long.

It has 40 large steel cables and, at its highest point, it reaches a height of 139 metres.

It has this lovely nickname 'the swan' and people in Rotterdam love this bridge.

Whenever I asked a local person what I should not miss out on in the city,

everyone said the Erasmusbrug.

And I can see the swan but, to me, it actually looks more like one of those Egyptian dogs

with the pointy ears that kind of sit like this.

I don't know if it's just me but from certain angles you can see the posture and the silhouette so-

I see the dog but I can also see the swan.

And, if you can believe it, in 2005 as part of the Red Bull Air Race

some planes actually flew underneath the bridge so-

very talented pilots.

Not far from the Erasmus Bridge is the former head office of the Holland America Line

and now it is Hotel New York.

The Holland America Line was founded as a shipping and passenger line

and what's interesting about this is it was actually

the first connection between the Netherlands and the United States

and the first connection between the two continents.

It stopped operating as a Dutch line in 1989

when it was purchased by Carnival Cruise Lines for a cool 530 million Euro.

The Market Hall or Markthal is another example of totally unique architecture in the city of Rotterdam

and it's the first covered market in all of the Netherlands.

And why was it built?

Why did they need a covered market?

Because of stricter European regulations on selling produce like fish and meat and cheese in the open air.

And, as usual - I love this - the city of Rotterdam saw this limitation as an opportunity.

A challenge to innovate and they set about to build a market

that would not only adhere to the new regulations

but would be a mind-blowing example of architecture and multi-use space.

So not only is this hall complete with food vendors and shops and restaurants,

it's also a residential space.

There are 230 apartments,

many of which have windows that face into the hall.

You can see people cooking or doing their laundry

and it also includes underground parking for 1200 cars in downtown Rotterdam.

It opened in October 2014 after five years of construction

and it's built nearby where Rotterdam was founded in 1270.

So there were a lot of medieval objects that were found during the construction

like vases and tools and canon balls.

The exterior is covered with grey natural stone

and it's the same as what you'll find on the Rotterdam pavement on the streets.

So all of the focus is drawn to the interior.

And, my god, what an interior it is.

All of the attention is drawn to the roof of the Markthal.

It's a painting by an artist named Arno Coenen.

It's called the Horn of Plenty and it's been called the world's largest painting.

It covers 11,000 square metres.

It's huge.

It's bright and colourful and now it's called the Sistine Chapel of Rotterdam.

Just across the square from the Market Hall are the iconic cube houses.

These were conceived and designed by an architect named Piet Blom in the 1970s

and he was given the task by urban planners in Rotterdam

to solve the dilemma of building housing on top of a pedestrian bridge.

Aside from the uniqueness of the asymmetrical design,

the cube houses are meant to represent an abstract forest.

Floating forest, abstract forest, rebirth, growth -

I hope you're getting the theme of Rotterdam here.

Structurally, the cubes sit tilted on a hexagonal pole

and completing that tilted design the walls and windows are all angled at 54.7 degrees.

So it gives excellent views of all the surrounding area.

But although the houses optimize the space on the outside,

unfortunately the same can't be said for the inside.

The drawback, which is kind of ironic, is that, despite a total area of 100 square metres,

the angled structure means that only a quarter of that space inside is actually usable.

I was extra excited to see these cube houses because in Toronto,

where I lived before becoming a nomad, they also have cube houses.

And I didn't realize until visiting Rotterdam that that's what they were inspired by.

And I guess in Toronto the plan was always to build more but, in the end, Toronto only has three.

I really enjoyed visiting Rotterdam and I hope that you enjoyed seeing these highlights as well.

Leave a comment down below.

just love this flashlight and I was just dying to get one and if they had plans

I'm making him for this he said they did they really thought they would sell

better and I tell you I just don't think I don't want to you know I'm I'm not a

business guy but they're not marketing these like they should I think if more

people knew about these and knew how bright they were and how handy they are

more people would buy them so I'll tell you what I'm gonna do I'm gonna take a

I'm gonna use the light that comes with the phone let me see if I can get to it

here no I can't let me shut this off and then when I come back I'll have the

this new case on where do you see how bright this light is I show you that let

me just show you how simple this is it comes with a little USB charger I don't

know what they call that in there but plugs into the bottom right there and

enough but the case bright light it it illuminated everything anyway I'm gonna

leave a link where you can get this it's an Amazon link I don't have any kind of

deal worked out with this company nothing like that

actually I tried to get some kind of deal worked out with him because I

really believe in this and I believe there's a lot of people that if they had

this they would also like me wonder how they got along without it so uh anyway

I'm glad to have it and from now on my videos what I'm doing I'm working on an

engine or something like that this is the light I'll be using Nebo case bright

MY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE UK (UPDATED) | @luceslusia - Duration: 10:32.

I love u❤️.

BOMBSHELL: What Top Scientists Just Exposed About Michelle Has Barack In PANIC MODE. - Duration: 2:54.

BOMBSHELL: What Top Scientists Just Exposed About Michelle Has Barack In PANIC MODE.

First lady Michelle Obama has wasted a lot amount of her time in the White House combating

childhood obesity.

America's children have been forced to eat cardboard and pig slop because she says it's

healthy.

Well, she's dead wrong.

The truth is that she has wasted millions of taxpayer dollars on failed programs much

like her husband.

And the truth is that scientific evidence is suggesting that her crappy school lunches

are far worse for children than she would like to believe.

In fact, the results of a recent Virginia Tech study offer critics new ammunition by

suggesting school lunches might be CAUSING the very problem Obama has been fighting.

OBESITY!

Wen You of the Virginia Tech College of Agriculture and Life Sciences explained that "While

well-intentioned, these government funded school meal programs that are aimed at making

kids healthy are in fact making participating students more at risk of being overweight."

"Research indicated that the longer children were in such programs, the higher their risk

of being overweight," You said.

"The most negative effect of government meal programs were in the south, northeast,

and rural areas of the country."

Researchers studied over 21,000 students nationwide from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Kim Smith at Conservative Tribune reports that children who participated in a school

meal program were more likely to be overweight, and children who didn't participate were

less likely to be overweight.

Clearly, it's time for the government to stay out of areas it doesn't belong — like

education and nutrition.

"It's potentially troubling since even the nutritional targets of previous standards

were not being met satisfactorily prior to this new legislation, and now there are potentially

millions more kids who could be affected by accessing free school meals," You said.

Troubling and embarrassing.

Obama's school meal programs is turning out just like every other Democrat program

that "intends" to make things better — it is actually making things worse.

This shouldn't be too surprising.

Obama has no formal education or certification in nutrition.

It would appear her only interest in an effort to make Americans healthy is the excuse to

waste millions of dollars.

So this is all a big waste of money at the expense of all of us taxpayers to make the

Queen appear relevant, which she isn't.

She never will be.

Sure, she's the first black transsexual first lady but that's about it.

So sorry Queen Obama but your government mandated (under the threat of extortion) lunches SUCK!

You would never eat that garbage and you would NEVER feed that slop to your adopted daughters.

Nice try, now get lost and take your Marxist husband with you…

What do you think about this?

It's Been a Busy Week!! · Coral Acryla-Gouache Speed-Paint + Catch-Up! - Duration: 5:20.

Alright you lot, welcome back.

Today is the first day since Inktober that I've had a chance to sit down and actually

create something, and when it came to making a video today, I really almost over-thought

it all; having spent a month drawing the same thing over and over, I almost forgot what

I do when I'm not drawing houses.

I wanted to come back with a bang, do something creative and impressive and just big and impactful.

But, honestly, that would just be too much work.

Too much pressure.

So I just set my camera up to record what I was already doing.

Casual, experimental sketchbook times.

I think I'll ease back in to the bigger pieces.

So today I'm starting another 30-page sketchbook which I'm aiming to fill this month.

I think if I can do it this month, coupled with last months success, I really might be

able to solidify this as a habit and complete a sketchbook consistently very month.

That's the hope anyway.

I've dedicated this sketchbook to painting coral and other sea….

things.

Sea sponges and anemone, those kinds of things.

Gorgeous stuff.

I thought that would be such a great diverse subject matter for cool shapes and, most importantly,

colours.

Following on from inktober, I'm obviously really keen to get back to creating some more

colourful work, and I also have been really itching to try the set of gouache and acryla

gouache paints I received from Holbein weeks ago- was it months ago??- and still, until

today, hadn't had a chance to properly try out.

For this painting I'm using the acryla gouache and I plan on making a review or first impressions

video sometime this week so let me know if you have any questions you want answered about

them.

The whole thing was completely experimental, I didnt go into it with a plan or even an

idea of what I wanted the painting to look like, I just wanted to test the colours, the

opacity, the blending and the layering as well as figuring out the consistency of this

paint which I've obviously never used before, and my water-to-paint ratio.

So that's all really about the painting.

What I really wanted to talk about was… y'know, what a crazy week it's been!

So the zine release was kind of insane, it got way more attention than I had expected,

the website crashed, I was freaking out, but it was so exciting and amazing and I can't

thank you all enough for wanting to own that little snippet of.. what was essentially my

whole life for the month of October.

Since then, it took about 3 solid days of packaging and posting them out, they are all

now off in the postal system, some have reached their new owners already, it was honestly

just such a huge weight off having them all out of my bedroom.

I vlogged that whole process so you'll see that in a few days as well hopefully.

And again, if you have any questions about how I process and package and send out orders,

especially on that scale, leave the below and I'll try to cover them in that video.

After all that, you might think I'd finally take a break, but I actually had to get straight

on and start working through the mountain of tasks that had built up over October that

got kind of pushed aside while I was focusing on inktober.

I understandably had quite a few emails from people with comments and questions about their

zine orders, especially with the site going down, a lot of people just wanted to confirm

their order had gone through.

For as many of those emails I had, I also had a ton of people asking for them to be

re-stocked.

Which they won't, by the way, as I said, they were limited edition so… yeah, I get

it, I appreciate your interest but please don't email me about that anymore!

Let's see, I'm halfway through a batch of commissions and I also have a couple of

collaborations with companies that I kind of cheekily ended up pushing the deadlines

for, so if my next few videos are sponsored or product related, they were supposed to

be spread out but they just ended up building up.

Essentially everything that got put on the back burner while I focused on Inktober, I'm

working on it now.

So, I still haven't watched Stranger Things, again, no spoilers please.

My popcorn and facemask are ready and waiting.

I've got one more little push of productivity til the end of this week and then I'm probably

gonna take a week off.

Maybe just a week off from making videos, I haven't really decided yet.

I just wanna give myself a bit of space to not have to think about anything.

But we'll see.

As I said, I have like 3 more videos lined up for this week so I guess I'll keep you

updated with my plans as we go.

Thank you all again for being here, for watching these videos, for your comments and encouragement

and support.

I'm feeling good, I had a lovely painting day today, I feel like I'm close to getting

back into a normal rhythm and that in itself is really exciting and motivating.

Yeah, that's it!

I hope you liked it, I'll see you- I'm so used to saying I'll see you tomorrow-

I'll see you soon for the next one.

It probably will be tomorrow to be honest.

Okay bye!

What is YOUR Self Worth?! Fear of Failure, Perfectionism, Imposter Syndrome, Dunning-Kruger Bias... - Duration: 8:09.

This one, is just free-form.

This is a challenge for me to do

And the reason I'm making this video is because I went to a yoga class

And in the beginning of class

She said something to the effect of set your intentions

Kinda like, what do you wanna get out of this class?

You know, a lot of yoga teachers ask things like that.

And I had nothing

I'm like thinking i'm here to stretch today , just to do some yoga.

Nothing is coming up, right?

But in the middle of class

And throughout I had a whole ton of emotions and thoughts pouring out and processing

I left that class with a lot of clarity

And that's what yoga does in general

It's not uncommon for that to happen

But this time, while I was doing all this stuff in the yoga class

I was enjoying all of it, I was feeling great

And you know, a lot of these things, I do already

I do yoga like pretty much everyday on my own without going to a class

And...

I don't make enough yoga videos.

And I'm totally capable of making them

But I have this fear that I'm not gonna do the right thing

So I'm like crippled by perfectionism

And I feel like I don't value my own self worth

I feel I'm afraid, not just of failure but I don't want to mislead people, I don't want to be irresponsible in how I make people move

Or the thoughts I put into their head.

So I end up being less productive in a sense

Because ...

You know, you're a creative being, you want to create, you can't help but to create, that's what you are

You are a creator.

Everyone.

I don't care if you don't think you're not creative. ("Oh I'm not a creative person")

That's not true

Everyone is creating something all the time.

Even if it's just turning oxygen into carbon dioxide.

However you wanna think of it

All right? So...

Where was I with that?

That's also called the "Imposter Experience" (Imposter Syndrome) where..

You don't wanna do the wrong thing because you're afraid of being found like you're a fraud.

And this is actually super common

Something like 70% of people have this thing.

So that makes people overwork and be perfectionists

And a lot of other symptoms.

And it's also a combination of that and the Dunning Kruger effect.

Where people who maybe are not the smartest think that they are pretty smart.

And the people who are actually genuinely really smart often think they're not smart enough

alright?

Maybe this is why the smartest people in the world are not politicians.

Maybe... or maybe it's because they know, they have to put up a facade

But the reason I also mention this is because there are a lot of YouTubers.

People who make YouTube videos all the time

And all they do is they have this camera

And they're going about their day

Making vlogs (video blogs)

And they're talking about NOTHING

Right?

Like NOTHING of significance

Or... Idk..

Maybe they are. Maybe it's interesting.

But the reason I think people find it interesting

Is because those people are just letting themselves be free

And showing their personality

And just by that virtue alone, it garners some sort of interest or following or whatever

And then people like me, who refrain from doing that because it's too spontaneous

Things can go wrong, I need the perfect setting, the audio is not good enough right now

The lighting is not perfect, I'm not wearing the right clothes, oh I haven't shaved or whatever, you know?

There's like a million reasons that would prevent me from...

[snaps fingers]

Finalizing, executing, shipping

Whatever you wanna call it. (Sending it)

Just create something, wrap it up and send it and move onto the next thing.

Again it ties into self worth.

It would be amazing to be able to make a great living just by making yoga videos

Because that means I'm doing yoga

You're doing yoga

Everyone feels happy, right?

And ofc it's not just yoga, I'm giving yoga as an example because I was in the yoga class

And it's a phenomenal experience when you get to move your body and process emotions

So let me go back to that yoga class since I mentioned it

That yoga class, I started out without really any solid intention and I left with all this clarity about

Ohh wow

I...

Should not be afraid

All of this is fear

All of this that prevents me from doing things: It's fear.

You know how they say live your life like it's your last day?

I don't really follow that specifically because then I would be too self-destructive if I REALLY thought today was my last day

The way I like to think of it is like if this is my last MONTH or WEEK

What would I do?

And I just need to...

Be a little more fearless, confident...

Not being afraid of being confident because I naturally am confident but to show that I'm confident

Yea

Just following my heart and doing the right thing.

All I need to do is TRUST

Trust everything.

Trust the whole process.

The whole journey.

It's all a learning experience, there is no failure.

Everytime something doesn't work out, you're getting closer to the thing that IS going to work out.

I hope that was helpful in some way

Just me speaking out, connecting with my audience, connecting with myself.

Hopefully that stirs something up in you

And helps YOU as well to just move forward in life

To just keep on keepin' on.

OOPS: Kellyanne Conway Accidentally Calls For Donald Trump To Resign From Office - Duration: 3:56.

During an interview with ABC's This Week this past weekend, Kellyanne Conway accidentally

called for Donald Trump to step down from the office of the presidency.

Now before we show the clip, keep in mind, Kellyanne Conway I guess probably didn't mean

to imply that the president should step down, but as usual, she can't stop herself from

saying stupid things.

On a related note, you can still check out our patreon.com poll on who's the biggest

embarrassment to the Trump Administration.

That poll's open till tomorrow, patreon.com/theringoffire.

It's open to the public.

You can vote for Kellyanne if you so choose, and I'm certain that after this clip, you're

probably going to want to vote for her as the biggest embarrassment.

Take a look.

Let me say it one last time.

The conduct as described is not just offensive and disgusting, it disqualifies anyone who's

done it from holding public office, so let me go a little step farther.

If there's anyone currently in public office who's behaved that way to any girl or any

woman, maybe they should step aside, because in a country with 330 million people, we ought

to be able to do better than this.

I tried to raise this issue a year ago on October 9th.

I said explicitly that I had been a victim of people in power, and nobody took me seriously,

and you know why?

Because of who I worked for, of whose campaign I was managing.

Well, there you have it.

I mean, Kellyanne Conway is a counselor to the president, so he should take her counsel

and as someone who's been accused of sexual aggression, sexual impropriety by more than

15 different women, he should step down from his office.

I mean, he's on tape bragging about sexually assaulting women, because when you're famous

they let you do it.

That's what he said, so why shouldn't he have to step down?

If you watch the entire interview that Kellyanne Conway gave, the whole nine-minute interview,

she did talk about the fact that she had come forward with allegations of her own from her

past and people wrote it off because of who she worked for, meaning Donald Trump.

I don't think working for Donald Trump should demean anyone who comes forward with these

sexual assault or harassment allegations, however, if you're someone, as Kellyanne Conway

claims she is, who has experienced this, why would you forgive or completely ignore the

conduct of the man you work for when he is on record as claiming that he has done this?

As a victim yourself, you should be one of the first people to stand up, step up, and

speak out about his behavior, but you won't.

Because for you it's not about protecting other women.

It's not about protecting the integrity of the office of the president.

It's about making Donald Trump happy, and making him look good, and making the Republican

Party continue to drag itself along.

That's what you're doing here.

You're dismissing the allegations against Roy Moore.

You're casting doubt.

You're saying, "If they're true.

I don't know this woman.

Maybe they happened, but all sexual assaulters should step down from office immediately."

Well, guess what?

That's your boss, by his own admission, his own words.

If you think they should all step down, start with the man at the top.

Start with your boss, and then we'll see if we can get everyone else

to follow.

Want the #1 question I get answered? Hows the Market?: - Duration: 3:11.

Hey guys, Ben Graham here with RE/MAX.

Hope everyone is having a good start

to the month of November.

Believe it or not it is November already. Holy cow.

Anyhow, we're actually doing pretty good.

We got all our Christmas shopping done so maybe you did too.

The point of this video blog or vlog as would have it

is just to say how is the market right now?

That is the number one question that I am consistently

getting over and over again and

the answer really is, it depends.

If you're looking to buy, sell, invest, rent,

they are all different so let me know how I can answer

the question for you and or someone you know.

But overall, the 30,000-foot view of how the market is here

in the state of Arizona is that we have a decrease

in supply and a slight weakening in demand.

And that's really because I think some of the buyers

are getting a little bit frustrated with

the lack of inventory out there.

So if you're even thinking of selling

even though we're in the month of November

put your home on the market.

I just put one on the market yesterday and we've already had

five showings on that property.

I'm sure it's going to sell this weekend.

There still are buyers out there.

So again, law of supply and demand,

homes are selling quickly, days on market is going down.

Anything under $150,000 rarely even exists.

Really anything under that 250 price point

in today's market is popping off super fast.

We're seeing about an average of

30, 45 days in anything from 250 to 400

Over that starts to slow down up in the luxury market then.

That's a whole different animal

and we've seen some decline there as well.

For the majority of you that are watching this video

the market is good, it's healthy.

If you're selling, prices are up.

But even if you're on the other side

of that equation and you're buying,

interest rates are still low so you can afford

these homes that have increased in the value.

With that said, if you have any questions on your

particular situation on what's going on in the macro market

and how it ultimately affects you, please contact me.

I'd be happy to do a no-obligation free consultation

with you guys even just to plan.

Whether it's for the next couple weeks

or if it's, "Hey, Ben, we're thinking about doing

this in six months or a year from now.

Can we start a process and a plan?" Absolutely.

So again, if you have questions on your needs or if you

just want to browse around look for homes just for fun

tired of Zillow and their inaccuracies then

you'll get a link to my website: bengrahamrealtor.com

and on there you can look at your home's value,

you can search for homes, a lot of great articles.

And please guys, subscribe to my YouTube channel

and really get on my Facebook page.

My business Facebook page is where to stay

up to date on what's going on in the market,

some great tips and tricks, lots of articles

about home improvement projects that'll ultimately

help improve the value of your home,

make your home more comfortable.

And some sneak peeks to homes that are not yet on the market

that you can have first access to.

With that said, subscribe to my

Facebook page, Ben Graham Realtor

and I look forward to seeing you around. Take care.
