Hi Guys!
Welcome back to my channel.
If this is your first time here, hello and thank you for stopping by.
I've had a few requests lately asking for a more simplified tutorial.
Seems like we get caught up in all the glitz and glam and glitter palettes that's come
out and all the fancy extras and we just want a simple easy go-to look for a day look.
Going to work, going to the office.
Just an easier look without all the
mess and the fuss.
So, that's what I'm doing today.
We're just going to do a natural easy look.
No frills, no fuss.
Not even gonna use the false lashes.
If you guys are interested in seeing an easy
look that anybody can do on
a daily basis then stick around.
First thing I'm going to start with is my primer.
I have already cleansed my face and put my moisturizer on.
Today I'm going to be using the Fenty Beauty Primer.
This is the Pro Filt'r Primer.
Just comes out like a lotion.
It doesn't take very much of this primer.
One little drop is all I use.
Next, I'm going to go in with the Farsali Rose Gold Elixir.
I always shake this up to get the gold mixed up.
I just put a drop on each cheek and on my forehead and rub that in.
Where I have dry skin, this oil is amazing.
I recently reviewed the Jouer Essential High Coverage Crème Foundation and I really liked
it so I ordered the full size bottle so I will be using this today.
And I am using the shade "Porcelain."
It has this pump which I love because that makes it so much easier to put the foundation on.
And I did get the brush that they recommended to use with it so I am going to be trying
this for the first time today as well.
A little bit of this foundation goes a very long way so I'm just going to be pumping it
on the brush itself.
Shake it up really well.
It is kind of thin, I want to make sure I get everything mixed up well.
I'm just going to pump this on the brush.
You can see it's full coverage.
It goes a very long way.
I like this brush.
This looks really light on my skin but after I get it all buffed out and I get my contour
and concealer on, it's actually a very good match.
I really like this brush.
It has the little pointed end that makes it easier to get around the eyes.
I just like the coverage of this foundation because it's so light weight.
It doesn't settle into these lines around my mouth.
This brush does make the foundation go on better.
The first time I tried it, I used the BeautyBlender.
The brush is better.
The concealer I'm using is Tarte Shape Tape.
The shade that I use is Fair.
I go back and forth between Fair and Fair Neutral.
I do use a BeautyBlender for my concealer.
Right now, we're looking a little pale so we're going to warm this up by using some bronzer.
Since we are going for a very neutral, natural look; I'm using the Benefit Cheek Parade
but I am using the lightest shade which is this one right here, it is the Hoola Light.
Just placing this under the cheekbones.
I'm going to be using it on the jawline, around the perimeter of my forehead and along the
sides of my nose.
This is going to warm it up without being too intense of a contour.
Using a light bronzer like this will give you that depth and warmth at the same time
without being too chiseled.
Depending on your skin tone, you may want to use the darker shade but where I am a little
fair at the moment, I am using the lighter of the two bronzers.
I am forgoing my traditional contour which is a lot deeper shade.
Bronzing just warms everything up without being too over-done.
I'm going to skip the blush since I used the bronzer on my cheeks and I just brought it
up a little higher than I normally would to add color to the tops of my cheekbones without
actually putting a separate blush color on.
I'm using the Precisely My Brow Pencil from Benefit to do my brows.
The idea here is to keep everything very soft and natural.
I'm going to be using the Morphe 3502 Palette.
I've been giving this little guy a lot of love, he's dirty, but I really like this palette.
It's got so many nice warm shades in it.
You can see, he's getting used.
I'm not going to be worrying about using different shades for the transition, for the lid and
the crease.
I'm just going to be concentrating a warm neutral shade in the crease area and just
slightly blending it outward to warm up the eyes just a little bit.
And placing a little bit of a light shimmer on the lid.
Keeping it very light, very neutral.
This is going to be a very quick, easy, natural look.
Anybody can wear, any day of the week to any event when you don't want to go full glam.
So, I am using a tapered blending brush.
This is the Luxie 229.
I'm picking up this warm shade right here, get my finger out of the way so you can see,
and that shade is called "Universal."
I'm just concentrating it in the crease area then I will blend it upward onto the brow bone.
Just to warm this up a little bit.
Giving it a little bit of color without being too much color.
Then just blend it up toward the brow bone without picking up any more product.
This is going to give you
a little bit darker color in the crease where that's where you placed the initial eyeshadow
and blending it outward while still only using one shade.
I am also going to pick up a little more of this color to put on the outer V.
Once you have that placed on the outer V, and I did bring it along about half way across
my lash line just to blend that out.
Then we will pick up a lighter shade for the lid.
I have really been using this gold shade right here.
It is called "Pure."
I've been using it quite a bit.
I'm not going to wet the brush.
I'm just going to lay it down just like it picks up dry on the brush because again, we
want this to stay very soft.
I'm using a flat brush.
This is the Sigma Cut Crease Brush, Sigma E62.
Just to put a little bit of shimmer on the lid so that it's not completely bare
but nothing too glittery.
Since I am not going to be using any eyeliner with this look, I'm going to use a flat definer brush.
This is the Sigma E15.
I'm going to pick up a darker brown shade, not black.
This dark brown on the bottom corner right here, it is called "Muddy."
I'm just going to place it along the lower lash line and smudge it out just to give it
a little bit of color without being too dark.
I'm also going to place this along the top lash line.
Then I smudged this darker brown shade out using a small tapered blending brush, this
is the Sigma E45.
That keeps it from being too defined, it looks more like a smoky edge rather than a line
and that's what we're going for.
Ok, that's it.
It's that simple for the eyeshadow.
Now, we will go in with a light coat of mascara.
I am going to curl my lashes first.
I am using the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara.
This is actually a mini that came in one of my kits but I love this mascara.
It is my favorite.
It does a great job at lengthening and separating lashes at the same time.
Ok, that's one light coat of mascara just to give your lashes some length, a little
bit of a whispy look but not too heavy, not too clumpy, not too dark.
I am going to use a little bit of a highlighter.
This part is optional, you don't have to highlight.
I like a little bit of glow so I'm not going to do a blinding highlighter.
I will be using the Laura Mercier L'Amour Exotique Face Illuminator Collection.
This is the outside of the package.
It's got like a little leaf design.
The inside has four different shades.
And they're just numbered.
1, 2, 3 and 4.
I don't want to go too bright, too intense with this.
I'm going to be using this gold shade on the top right.
And I going to use just a little bit on a pencil brush to highlight my brow bone.
Again, just a little.
The whole point is to stay natural so you want a little bit of glow.
We naturally have shine to our face anyway.
This is just illuminating those high points where you would normally have a little bit
of glow but not to the point to where it's obvious that you've got highlight on.
This is just to accentuate the natural.
I'm just sweeping this on the highest point of my cheek.
A little bit of glow without being too much.
This is a nice soft highlighter.
You have the glow without being blinding.
Again, you can definitely forgo this.
If you are going to the office for the day and you don't want to have highlighter on,
skip this part.
But, I don't think there's anything wrong with adding a little bit of glow where you
would normally shine in the light anyway.
Adding it to your cupid's bow, just gives your top lip the appearance of being a little bit fuller.
Who doesn't want full lips?
So, we've got a little bit of glow on the cheeks, a little on the tip of the nose
and definitely the cupid's bow.
For the lip, of course we're going to use a natural, neutral color.
You know, if you want to lighten this look up a little bit more, you can use a nude pencil
in the water line.
I'll add it just so you can see the difference.
This is the Jouer Slim Creme Eyeliner in "Matte Nude."
It's just a soft pencil liner.
I'll place this in the waterline so you can see the difference.
This just brightens your eyes a little bit more.
It makes your eyes look a little bit more open, more alert, more awake.
Of course, this is optional too.
But, I do like to use a nude waterline pencil when I'm going with a more natural look.
So, even though we call it "natural," the whole point is to still be able to bring out
your best features without being obvious that you've spent twenty minutes on makeup.
If you want to do just a natural look, quick out the door, of course you can skip these
smaller steps.
Nobody is really going to notice unless they're right in your face anyway.
The lipliner I'm using is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in the color "Pillow Talk."
Just a nude lipliner.
The lipstick I'm going to be using is also Charlotte Tilbury and the shade on this is
"Kim K.W."
This is probably my favorite nude lipstick.
I love this.
As far as an actual lip stick.
I'm going to finish this off with a finishing powder.
My favorite that I use, especially when I'm doing a look like this where I want everything
to be seemless and natural.
This is the Guerlain Météorites.
This is the Météorites Pearls, you can see down in here.
These just kind of blur everything.
I use the Guerlain brush with it because the bristles are a little more dense and when
you tap into that you can pick it up onto the brush.
I just lightly swirl this around to finish everything off.
It does seem to blur all of the imperfections and fine lines.
Using this powder, just a light dusting over your finished look, doesn't interfere with
highlight or anything like that.
So, we'll finish it off with some setting spray and this look is done.
So, that is it guys.
I hope you enjoyed this video.
This is just a quick, easy, natural look.
It seems like we get so caught up in the glam and the glitter.
I'm just as guilty.
Sometimes we just want an easy, natural look.
Just to go out and not have to make a fuss.
This is my go-to.
I hope you guys enjoyed and if you did, don't forget to give me a big thumbs up and subscribe
and I'll see you in the next video.
I LOVE YOU, GUYS!
XOXO
