you cannot just start Street Workout like that :(

Nope !

There's a big list of things to have and do before

Don't worry about it, I'm here to guide you

We're gonna take it one after the other, you & me together

You're gonna have it all for life bro.

Let me introduce to you right now

The Ultimate Street Workout & Calisthenics Starter Pack

Here we go !

See I would have normally put my channel intro right now

With a lot of dope explosions & sh*t

But I didn't take the time to do it, so...

The first thing you need to worry about

is not to look like sh*t

the first time you go to the park

There will be a lot of people,

they're all gonna judge you,

So you better suit up correctly !

You need the ultimate workout clothes

When they see you arrive

you want them to think :

Well, better not f*ck with him

Take something adequately aerodynamic

You need to have your biceps popping out of your shirt

So something rather skin-tight

You're the alpha male other there, alright?

You're also gonna need nice shoes

You won't train barefoot

You won't train with those

finger toes shoes

Those are for people doing crossfit

Last time I checked, you were doing Street Workout

And it's definitely not the same, 'kay?

So just buy the damn good shoes !

Alright, next !

You're very soon gonna do a lot of pull ups,

muscle ups and other hard stuff you see?

Like one arm pull ups & stuff

Your elbows will have to take it all !

So immediately buy compression sleeves

When we see you arrive with those,

we immediately know you're not here

to train your butt !

You're also gonna want some wrist wraps

Bam !

You instantly get a +12% strength bonus !

Don't ask questions, just do it

You'll see, it's magic.

In this sport, it rubs, it tears, it twists,

Your hands are quickly gonna look

pretty ugly !

For this kind of stuff,

it's very important to cover yourself !

Immediately buy workout gloves

and wear them when you train

This way, your girlfriend or boyfriend

won't know that you spend most of your time

rubbing bars !

You'll see, you're gonna want to train all the time !

You're therefore gonna need some real equipment

First, buy some parallel bars

In English, it's also called "parallettes"

In order for you to tap into their max potential

I advise you to have 3 different sizes

Very small ones, you take them every where

You can train whenever, wherever.

Then, the middle sized ones

heavier, but more stable.

Finally, definitely take a higher pair

Those are the ones you leave in your room

and don't ever use.

Mine are right over here, see?

You NEED to buy rings !

The cost an arm,

You use them every 6 months

Therefore you'll quickly have hdd enough for your money :)

If you only train with your own bodyweight,

very soon, it won't be enough anymore !

You're gonna have to weight yourself buddy !

Gently start with 2kg little ankle weights,

super easy.

But 4kgs are barely gonna be enough for one week

Maybe not even 3 days if you do it right !

You're a very far-sighted dude,

You're planning further ahead than that!

Just directly buy a weighted vest

Don't bother with anything under 15 kgs

You'0ll eventually consider 20 or 30kgs later

I mean, let's be serious for a sec

we're not gonna buy useless stuff right away !

You'll also need :

Spray to warm up your muscles before training

some cream to help your muscles recover after

In addition to the cream, you're gonna buy a roller

You'll roll on it every night

It'll allow to deeply massage

your warrior injuries

Honestly if nothing is constantly hurting,

it means you're training hard enough !

Then, the symbol of Street Workout :

Chalk ! :D

Bro, it's gonna be your best bet to make new friends

When you arrive, you can buy rounds for everyone

"Eric! Damn bro this dude

always has chalk with him, he's so cool !"

"He's my bruh !"

You'll see, you will eat chalk

And you'll like it !

It exists in powder, but I'd recommend the liquid one

so that you don't put some every where

Don't bother buying only one bottle though,

order it by the gallon !

You're definitely gonna need a nice shaker as well

Even if you're never isolating your triceps in the gym,

doesn't mean you can't drink protein

If you wanna make exercises easier or harder,

you're gonna need some rubber bands.

You're a precise dude,

you wanna cover all of your bases !

So you're gonna get

every resistance,

every size

and every color !

Buy a big one,

this one you just don't use because it makes it too easy.

Definitely have a middle one,

it'll become your best friend.

Don't forget to buy some of the smaller sizes as well,

you wanna be a complete athlete.

Since you are very special,

you're kind of the Chosen One.

You're gonna bang out crazy moves very quickly

So take your smartphone with you when you train,

have a little tripod as well,

film yourself,

and, please, put it on Instagram !

Instagram is awesome, you can post anything you like !

Your best bathroom selfies,

How you got the planche in two weeks,

Screenshots of moves you can hold for half a second,

your breakfast,

lunch,

dinner,

everything inbetween,

Don't throw anything away !

Listen, I'm not gonna lie,

you're gonna have to give it 100% everytime you train

You therefore need a good pre-workout.

First set everything up on a table,

take your creatine pack,

take some monohydrate, rest is expensive and not better.

You then help yourself as you please,

I personnally recommend taking between 3 aaand

12 scoops !

That's considered to be the optimal range.

Put it in your shaker,

Add some water.

It isn't called a "shaker" for nothing,

you gonna shake it right ! :D

With this, you'll take caffein

not with coffee, but with pills,

it's way more effective.

Then, looking at your current energy levels,

you decide how many pills you take.

Once everything is ready, don't quibble,

you swallow your pills...

... until the last one !

And you down it all with your shake.

I'm warning you though, if you're not used to caffeine,

it's gonna tingle a bit.

You may want to smash your head against the walls.

You're gonna start to...

You'll see ;)

It ain't called a pre-workout for nothing,

so you're gonna take it right before training,

Like, not before visiting your grand parents.

Once you have all your stuff packed,

you drank your pre-workout,

you can finally take off to train !

It's cool to prepare and stuff, but we ain't here

to masturbate ourselves !

You do that with shares and not mutual funds

When you don't want to bother about picking individual stocks, you invest in mutual funds since the fund manager is doing it for you

The reason you are going into ETF is that you don't even want to worry about investment calls made by fund managers

In an ETF, like Bharat 22 ETF, the investment is made in stocks comprising the index in the same proportion as in the index

Since ETF is a passive investment, you are unlikely to make large short-term gains

Even if you make large short-term gains, you will end up paying 15% short term capital gains tax

This tax is applicable to equity investments of less than one year

Woodturning Inside Out Open End Christmas Ornament With LED - Duration: 8:11.

Hi, Alan Stratton, from As Wood Turns (www.AsWoodTurns.com) For this project, I wanted to make an inside

out ornament for the Christmas Ornament Challenge now going on. However, as I said before, this

one did not quite make it. One thing I've learned about inside out turnings is that

you have to be prepared for failure because they will often times go like that one.

So, I tried again. In this one, I wanted to extend the concept of inside out further and

make an open end. I decided to use a tea light again and set it on a loose tenon because

you have to access the tea light to turn it on and off and to replace it. That all comes

in through the bottom. And that made for a very interesting experience with this turning.

I'll show you later. Let's make this inside out open ended Christmas

ornament. I've prepared four square pieces of 2"

maple about 10" long, trying to have them as square as possible. Next, I'm spreading

white glue on only the last ½" of wood and gluing the four pieces together. I don't

like the craft paper alternative as it has a lot more clean up later. This way, I'll

saw off the ½" that has glue and not have to clean up the surface.

Now for the first turning. This is the inside profile. Despite having turned many inside

out pieces, I still have trouble visualizing the inside profile. I think it is because

I see the flat surface. But, the true profile is 40% different – in effect the diagonal

of the square. I'm trying for a flame portion at the top; a small portion to hold a battery

operated tea light. This time, I trying to leave flared strips at the bottom for an open

end. We'll see how that works out. After a thorough sanding, I'm applying brushing

lacquer. I like lacquer or shellac because it dries quickly and does not leave a streak

when I have to blend newly sanded areas together. After sawing off ½" from both ends, the

four pieces of wood come apart either by hand or with a gentle tap with a chisel and a mallet.

After a light sanding, I'm rotating each piece and gluing everything together again.

This time the entire flat surface gets a light coat of white glue. For this purpose, I like

white glue because any squeeze out will be clear. I'll let it dry thoroughly overnight.

The next day, I also applied CA glue to the joints – more insurance. Me paranoid. Yep!.

Back at the lathe, I'm first applying filament tape around the ends for more insurance. If

you don't wear a full face shield, now is the time to reform and wear one. This is going

to be even more dicey because I want two sections with cavities: the flame portion and the bottom

flare. I'm turning a tenon on the bottom portion so I can mount it to a chuck. The

chuck pressure on the four pieces will be even better insurance than the filament tape.

I'm still nervous enough to reapply the filament tape at least while I get started.

Now easy does it with a gouge. At first, I cut air as the wood is square. Then I cut

air and the inner cavity whips around. If I were to rely on bevel pressure to control

the cut, I would cut way too deep where there is an inside turning. So, very light cuts

are in order. I keep the speed high to lessen the air effect.

Now I have four slats joined only at the top and bottom. The wood is moving and I get chatter.

Nothing is solid anymore. I'm just waiting for this thing to explode. Slowing down is

not really an option. The only thing I can do it to take very light cuts.

Now, I'll sand it starting with 80 grit to take out the chatter. Normally, I slow

the lathe speed down to sand. This time, I'll keep the speed high. Rather than press sandpaper

against the wood with my hand, I'm holding the opposite ends and letting the middle contact

the revolving wood. Yes, it may round the edges a little but they are too sharp to risk

contact with my fingers. I'll sand up through the grits and do some sanding with the grain

with the lathe off. Whew, I made it to finishing with no explosion.

How about some more brushing lacquer. Maybe I can get an ornament out of this after all.

I don't think the top will hold together to hang directly. On other ornament, I've

had small portions come apart. So, I'm carefully reducing the top to a 3/8" tenon. Later

I'll turn a finial to cover. I used the band saw to trim out the bottoms.

That is when the piece broke at the top tenon. Disappointing, but I think I can still save

it. I had planned for a top finial that would

be complicated by having to mount to the tenon. I prefer it the other way around. Since the

top broke, I will still have a tenon but I also want a cupped portion around that for

the tops of the wood pieces. That wasn't too bad.

The final piece is a platform for the tea light to sit on. I'm integrating the platform

with a lower finial. The first thing is to cut a tiny tenon below the platform. I'm

disguising the tenon with a small round over. Then reverse then platform into small chuck

jaws to finish turning the finial. Assembly consists of taping the slats together

and inverting them into the top finial. I turned a small piece with a cone on one side

and a hemisphere on the other. I'm gluing this into the top of the slats with CA glue.

Whew – My ornament and I survived – just barely. I've come to the conclusion that

when I do an inside out turning, I have to be prepared for failure. Many things can go

wrong – But, if I can finish it, I can be justifiably proud of the result. I can see

ways to refine this ornament. But for now, it's a great keeper.

that once our business scales up

we would address a large portion of the population

and I had never thought exactly in these terms

Most people don't know but we live in a country in which

of every two teenagers that go into high school, one does not graduate

and of those that do graduate, only about 10%

reach the minimum level of portuguese and math skills.

Young people in Brazil are not learning.

When we started with Artemisia for impact businesses,

we first started with

with a lot of questions but without any preconceptions

or any preconceived ideas

We looked at initiatives and questioned

how they could be bigger and better

or more inclusive...

And that is when we had the idea, the hypothesis

that if we looked at business models

we could increase our impact.

What we look for, especially in the medical team,

is that they look in the eyes of these people

and truly care for them.

to transform the country

it comes down to this

is it just our duty.

We won't change our country if we don't do it

So let's challenge ourselves to

solve the great challenges of our society

so our mission is

"how can we create businesses that foster human development?"
