Imagine, you riding home with your little child in a quiet evening and suddenly your

own flesh and blood, your pride, is shot dead by an idiot during a drive-by shooting.

This happened exactly with the three-year-old Rene Blancas on a Saturday evening, November

4, 11:30 pm near New Laredo Highway and Briggs Avenue in San Antonio.

The three-year-old child was in the back seat near the intersection when this tragic happened.

The suspect pulled up behind the victim's vehicle and shot one bullet that passed through

the trunk that sadly hit the head of the child according to SAPD.

The woman, probably the mother, immediately traveled to the nearest hospital, the Southwest

General Hospital.

The police were dispatched to the hospital.

They treated the boy and later transported by helicopter to University Hospital.

The 3-year-old boy did not survive his injury.

Why this happens is still a big mystery.

The police are still looking for the perpetrator.

He drove a golden or beige 4-door 2000 model Honda Civic.

Tutorial - Backflip / Salto Mortal Atras (ENGLISH SUBTITLES) - Duration: 7:06.

Hello everyone, how are you? We enjoy a little the coast in the north of the Basque country.

If you are a game of thrones fan you will recognize what I have behind me as Dragonstone

It is the hermit of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe here in Bermeo.

In this tutorial I will teach you how to do the most basic acrobatic in the world of acrobatics, the backflip.

And you should know, that everyone would like to know how to do a backflip, and whoever says no, lies.

So I hope you learn to do it, and I send you a big hug from Dragonstone.

The first thing to keep in mind with this type of exercise is that the backflip is an acrobatics that always carries a certain risk when performed, even when you have been practicing it for years.

So to start training it, it is important to find a suitable and well-conditioned place for it.

If in your city you dont have a place like the one you see on the screen, you can also use a field or a beach and a good mat, in fact I learned that way.

Do not forget that it is very important to warm up well before doing acrobatics to prevent injuries, and especially if you are starting to do them.

Another important thing that should be taken into account, is to work in your body, for example the abdominals and legs, this along with the technique is what will allow you to execute a backflip.

In the acrobatics it is very important to work and understand the techniques, so let's see the technique for the backflip.

Actually the technique is quite simple, it is about flexing the legs to get an impulse with the back straight, to jump and to group the knees taking them towards the chest.

A very common failure is to tilt the chest forward. This would make it much more difficult to jump high, and to group the knees

To understand well how to group and how to grasp the knees, it is important to do this exercise several times on the floor.

. Look, I keep looking towards the front and not inside.

The exercise that I show next, is very important to learn to jump straight, and bring the knees to the chest, not the chest towards the knees.

You have to do it with a partner, because if you jump your only straight, and bringing your knees to your chest, you will go backwards, and you will fall, so look, I push forward to my partner.

This exercise shows that grouping the knees, allows you to turn around in the air.

You can also jump and raise your knees by yourself, but in this way you are forced to lower your chest to avoid falling backwards, which is why it is more advisable to do the previous exercise with a partner.

Anyway, doing it alone is not bad either, because you can focus it as an exercise to train the jump, and get height even if the technique is not perfect.

Hanging from a bar and doing this type of crunches is also highly recommended, because it is exactly what your abdominals do when doing a backflip.

If you have a good abs it is much easier to do a backflip

One of the biggest problems for most people at the beginning is fear.

If you have problems with fear, you should do exercises like jumping into the pit,

or hanging on a bar and turn around on your own to get the feeling of turning backwards in the air.

Repeating these exercises many times, you should try to gain confidence little by little.

After practicing tennis and exercises to gain confidence, it's time to jump.

I recommend 100% that the first jumps are with the help of two companions, and then only with one.

They should stand next to the person who is going to jump, putting one hand at the lumbar level, and the other near the leg, to help give the turn, if necessary.

You have to be very clear, that in the acrobatics, or jump or not jump. It is dangerous to do half.

If you are going to do a backflip, you have to be very determined to do it, because if you doubt, halfway, it is when you can fall and give yourself a good blow.

I also say this for when they are helping you. The one who has to turn around is the one who jumps, not the assistants, they are only there to help a little, and prevent.

Once you already skip easy with the help of a partner, the next step would be to do it alone.

The first jumps can be in the pit, or where you feel safer. I personally prefer to put a mat behind me, to jump in the pit, because I feel insecure with the unevenness of the edge.

Once you have mastered the backflip, the next step would be to learn how to do the backflip with a Cartwheel.

You have to be very clear that there are two ways to make the Cartwheel. One is walking with one leg first and another after, as the basic but backwards, and the other joining the two legs in the air.

The Cartwheel is the most basic in the world of acrobatic gymnastics, and it is very important to have it well trained.

If you have both movements well trained, it's just putting them together

The cartwheel will give you a lot of power to jump, and it will be much easier to do the backflip with it, than when standing. The first times you can jump into the pit, or on a mat.

Finally, the next step would be to make variations and combinations, such as doing flip-flop after a flick, and stretch your legs or open them in the air.

But these are sequences and variations that should only begin to train when you have already assimilated the basic backflip, and with a cartwheel.

Iron Pillar that never RUSTS - Ancient Secret Revealed? - Duration: 10:21.

Hey guys, this is the ancient iron pillar of India.

It has many baffling features which have not been explained till date.

One of the strangest features is that it has not rusted for more than a thousand years,

although we can see some rusting in the recent years.

Archeologists confirm that this was created at least 1600 years ago, but it could be much

older than that.

An iron pillar made such a long time ago should have rusted and completely disintegrated.

How was such a pillar made, 1600 years ago, at a time when Historians claim there was

no advanced technology?

In 2002, scientists studied the iron pillar and realized that it has a strange way of

reacting to the atmosphere.

Normally, Iron reacts with moisture in the atmosphere or rain and produces Iron oxide,

which is called Rust (Fe2O3).

This rust is very powerful, it will deteriorate the iron, and eventually destroy the entire

structure.

For example, if you look at this Nandu bridge in China which is less than 80 years old,

it has been completely taken over by rust, making the bridge unusable.

But the iron pillar does something very strange.

When it comes in contact with moisture or rain, it produces a strange material called

Misawite = y-FeOOH) which has not been seen anywhere before.

This material actually forms a protective coating over the iron pillar and shields it

from damage, and also increases its magnetic property.

Now, why does the iron pillar create Misawite instead of Rust or Iron Oxide?

What makes this Iron pillar produce such a strange compound that is not seen anywhere

else?

The iron pillar is actually made of 98% Iron, 1% Phosphorous and the remaining 1% is made

of an ancient concoction called Vajra-sanghata.

This concoction is clearly explained in ancient Indian texts.

The Vajra-sanghata is created by mixing 8 parts of lead, 2 parts of bell metal and 2

parts of calx of brass.

So, if you look at the total composition of the iron pillar, it is made of a complex alloy,

created in ancient times.

Instead of rusting which is Iron Oxide, the phosphorous and Vajra-sanghata make water

vapor which is H2O, to convert into Misawite, a compound of Iron, Oxygen and Hydrogen (y-FeOOH).

This layer actually protects the pillar from rusting.

So, the pillar would accumulate this protective coating over the course of many centuries,

making it even more stronger.

Now remember I showed you Surang Tila, the temple that withstood a massive earthquake.

The stones of this temple were also bound by ancient binding materials, making it last

forever.

So, you can see that the ancient Indian technology was really advanced in creating structures

that stand the test of time.

The other intriguing question is this: Who created this pillar?

Now, there is an ancient inscription in Sanskrit on this pillar, which only hints at who could

have created this structure.

The inscription refers to a King called Chandra and mentions that his empire basically extended

beyond all the borders of today's India.

It also explicitly mentions that his empire covered the southern ocean of India, which

refers to the Indian Ocean.

All experts think this refers to the King Chandragupta Maurya who lived around 300 B.C.

The problem is, that even the most exaggerated versions agree that Chandragupta never reached

the Indian ocean, his empire did not touch the southern tip of India.

But experts don't know of any other King with the name of Chandra who ruled the entire Indian

subcontinent.

But there is another King described in ancient texts who is not being considered.

He is none other than Rama, the hero of the Indian epic Ramayana.

Rama was explicitly mentioned with the suffix Chandra in ancient texts and referred to as

Rama'Chandra'.

Rama did cross the Indian Ocean in the southernmost point to defeat the King of Srilanka.

But there is another startling evidence in the inscription.

All experts agree that what you see on the screen is the most accurate, literal translation

of the Sanskrit inscription.

This inscription clearly mentions that the King who installed the iron pillar, left to

another world in actual form, which means he left physically to another world.

These words are completely ignored by modern day historians, because they argue that all

ancient civilizations were primitive, and could not posses advanced technology like

spacecraft.

But all Hindu texts repeatedly state that the Gods came down from the sky, and used

advanced flying machines like Vimanas.

The ancient text of Padma Purana explicitly says that Rama left the earth and reached

another planet called Vishnulokha.

Now, even though all evidences point in this direction, why don't historians consider Rama

as the person who installed this pillar?

Because according to historians, Rama is not a historical figure, he is a fictional character

mentioned in mythology and not in history.

If you look at the history of Indian history, today's history books formally began during

the British occupation, and they blanketly claim that any king who existed in India before

600 B.C, were merely mythical figures.

This is the reason why figures like Rama and Krishna do not appear in History books, even

though these ancient texts are called Itihasa which literally means History.

Of course, in History Channel I have repeatedly stated that ancient Hindu texts show the real

history of India.

The fact that this pillar is still standing is enough evidence, that ancient India had

a very advanced technology.

We have looked at many questions about the Iron pillar like how was it built, who could

have built it and so on.

But the main question is this: Why was the Iron Pillar built and placed in this location?

What is the reason for constructing it with such complicated materials?

Archeologists claim it is just a decorative flag post - This is total nonsense.

In my videos I have shown you how every ancient Indian structure was created for a specific

reason - the wheels in temples were created to show time, even the smallest carvings served

a purpose.

So the real question is, why was the Iron pillar made in such a fashion, that it won't

rust, like all modern electrical equipment?

Today, all electrical components are specifically manufactured to be non-corrosive, but why

was such a structure needed in ancient times?

And most importantly how is it connected to the huge tower nearby known as Qutb Minar?

Do you know that, if you exclude the height of modern day railings on the Qutb Minar,

the Qutb Minar was built exactly 10 times taller than the Iron Pillar.

The height of the Iron Pillar is 7.21 meters and the height of the Qutb Minar is 72.1 meters.

Is this a coincidence that they were built to a 1:10 ratio?

To understand the mystery, we have to examine ancient Indian texts to see if they used electricity.

All You Need To Ascend � Part 5

I again have to �pause� my original intent of explaining my daily checklist step by step,

because something has come to light.

So I will write this one and continue next time.

Now what I�m about to say is a possibility and not a definite, yet has been confirmed

to me by Divine Twins that are on the other side, that indeed it is a good possibility.

Same illusion, just re-packaged differently

It occurred to me that after writing a few articles and seeing �some� not all comments�especially

about the meat; that people are in denial, and may be just creating another illusion.

Everyone needs to realize that the differences between the 3rd dimension and the 4th, will

make it appear magical.

Now while it is; the dark and the light co-exist there though�in the �Astral Plane�.

So it is easy to be taken in by the dark, making it appear you have ascended to the

higher realms, yet you are just within another Matrix.

Confirmed from above

Now while that may sound farfetched to some, it is an extreme possibility, and one that

has been confirmed by multiple Divine Twins from above.

This is why I stressed in my last article (Part 4), the importance of removing meat

from your diet.

This opens the heartmind, and you begin to FEEL, rather than just think.

The higher realms operate from the heartmind, whereas the lower ones (4th included) do not.

They think their brains are good enough.

This is why the 5th dimension is truly the beginning to the higher realms.

You just cannot lie to the heartmind.

If you think this is impossible see my 2015 interview on the �Project� site, this

is how they �got� us in the first place.

They used the 4th as an area we got trapped in, so we never went into the 5th and reviewed

our previous life, before incarnating back here on the surface again.

It is very possible I have been told, that a mini Matrix can be created, so all will

�assume� they have ascended, when indeed they are still in the trap.

Re-packaged to look great, yet the same never the less.

I have also been told, that if you are within that false Matrix, after you �ascend�

you will be brought in front of a council to review your life on the surface.

That is a lie, and ONLY you should review your life, as another�s opinion doesn�t

apply to anyone else�ever.

This will be a clue, if you are truly in the higher realms.

This is where we have gone wrong for Eons now.

Humans have forever been trying to impose their beliefs on their fellow human being.

When true bliss and peace can only be attained when one is left to decide and live for themselves,

and NEVER be told what to do.

You can�t handle the truth!

While many will have an issue with this, we need to get serious now.

Why take that chance, when the solution is so simple?

Stop doing something that is considered barbaric in the higher realms.

Stop eating meat (fish, and poultry included), and open your heartmind.

You cannot lie to the heartmind, and using it you begin to FEEL as opposed to only seeing.

This is another reason why their ships are light and can change shape at will; it is

because they are living beings.

Only the dark operate mechanical ones.

Where the light are both.

Seeing can be totally misleading.

The eyes are very easily fooled.

The dark may be fooling many people who rely on their visions.

Again as mentioned previously, this is why some see �dark� entities.

If you operated from your heartmind, that just cannot happen.

They accept these visions as fact, and then when they get messages from above, they are

�tricked�, because they are not from the truly spiritual beings, and just the dark

spewing more lies.

Many are so brainwashed and cannot handle the truth, yet like I said the answer is so

simple.

Maybe not easy, because we are accustomed to certain things, yet very simple.

This is why I was told by Sananda to add #7, to my checklist.

That step says to back out of 3d, and that includes the false belief that eating your

brother or sister (meat consumption) is okay�it is not.

Messages from pure love

When I connect people with their Divine Twins, the ones who have the most success, follow

my lead.

It is then when they are in direct contact, are they told by their other half, how to

further their connection.

This is why I mention in my first contact with them (when I give the name), after the

connection is made they will not need me (or any other outside info) any longer, because

their Divine Twin will guide them from there and bring them home.

Connecting info is on the �Project� site, yet powerful raising your vibration information

is on both, the �Project� and �CTTL� sites.

We have been taught �physical love� only, when you open your heartmind, and begin to

operate from pure love, you will never be fooled or mislead ever again.

You will not be sick ever, because we are PERFECT beings, so we can have whatever we

want, and that includes perfect health.

Yet you will never have to ask for it, or feel the need to seek outside assistance,

as when you open it, you will find you have had the power all along.

More false beliefs

We have been taught about the �hunter gatherer�� another false belief we were force fed as

we fell from grace.

Look at how the Ancient Egyptians ate.

Their diet consisted of grains, fruit, etc.

No meat.

I mention them, because just look at how advanced they were.

We cannot even re-produce their technology today!

Look at our teeth!

They are made for grinding, not tearing flesh like carnivorous animals.

We don�t have fangs!

We have been told that the Lion will lay down with the Lamb, one day.

Well that day is coming, and you see it more all the time.

In the higher realms that has already happened.

Watch nature, many species that never ever mixed with others, are now being seen �hanging�

out together.

The day of eating your brother or sister is coming to an end, and these energies that

are hitting the Planet now, is making that happen.

It is pure love energy, and violence and the consumption of another living breathing being,

cannot exist there.

The choice is yours

We have free will though, so that choice cannot be made for us.

So, if you decide you are not ready to change, then again, that is okay.

You will just continue on the new 3d Earth disguised as 5d, really in 4d though.

Yet I know many are fed up with these lower energies and are indeed ready to move on.

So make that choice�open your heartmind and drop the meat.

JAVA COFFEE SMOOTHIE - Smoothie Tuesday - Duration: 4:14.

A bright and beautiful morning to you all. Welcome to Steve's kitchen, it's a

smoothie Tuesday but it's never a good morning till I've had my coffee so today

we're going to make a java smoothie. This one is so so delicious, let me go through

the ingredients with you. Now you're going to want some frozen coffee, I've

poured really strong coffee into these ice cube trays and they've set. I've

actually used Pikes Place Starbucks, this is not sponsored, I'm just telling you

what I use for this video. We've got some bananas, we're going to flavor it with a

little bit of cardamom, I've got quarter of a cup of flat oats which is just

perfect to thicken and give us some nourishment, nice slow-release

carbohydrates. We're going to be using almond unsweetened almond milk, I'm going

to add some vanilla protein powder and because I like the texture we're going

to be adding some chia seed in there as well. So I'll start by getting the ice

cubes out, we don't want all these ice cubes I want about a cup which is about

half the tray but I'll pop our iced coffee into there. Now though I've got

fresh bananas I'm actually going to use a medium size frozen banana, I cut my

bananas up into threes and pop them into a little ziploc bag then I can just grab

three pieces of banana and add them into the blender. Frozen banana will make a

thicker smoothie, I'm adding in two tablespoons of vanilla protein powder.

Now just a little pinch, about an eighth of a teaspoon of cardamom powder this

gives a lovely flavor with coffee, a quarter of a cup of oatmeal, this is my

breakfast after all. Now this is optional but I really like it a tablespoon of

chia seeds and we're adding in a cup of almond milk in there with my coffee

stained cup, how beautiful does that look. Let's just pour it in, now I don't

actually have sweet coffee if you want a little bit of extra sweetener in here

you'll get it from the bananas but you can also add in a little bit of honey if

you want, maybe just a teaspoon, 1/2 a teaspoon. This makes two cups so you

decide. Now I wasn't going to put a sweetener in but I actually feel like it

now I've been looking at the honey, so maybe just add a teaspoon in there.

Secure the lid on your blender, power on and we're going to blend this on high

for about a minute, I've got a smoothie button so I'm

going to use it. Now that's made a super thick smoothie, if you want it thinner

then add a little more almond milk but I'm going to have it just the way it is, get

the lid off of here and give it a little shake through just to loosen it up a bit.

Now let's get them pour this out, I've got a couple of cups here, one for me and

one for Michele. Let's try and make it fairly even, now it's got a lot of

texture in there because that's the oatmeal you can leave the oatmeal out

but if you want something that's really nourishing leave it in. We've just

snapped some photographs, I've taken some granola and banana and put it on top if

you want to know how to make this delicious granola by the way you'll have

to watch episode 1 of the smoothies the recipes there. I'm ready to tuck in

I'm absolutely dying for this so let's give it a try. Bon Appetit! the bananas in

the way. It's like chocolate, it isn't chocolate obviously there's no chocolate

in it but it's rich it's so, so good, I think the combination of the banana, the

chia seed, coffee and the almond, it's just a lovely rich smoothie, an

Writing Doesn't Get Easier - Duration: 2:48.

Hi community of awesome, I'm Ava Jae and this is bookishpixie.

So I'm currently revising book 3 of the BEYOND THE RED trilogy which is also the 17th manuscript I've written.

And while I've been revising I've been thinking about confidence and the writing process.

Because when I finished first drafting that project, which was one of the longest first drafting periods I'd had

in a while, and I revised it once for myself and time came to work with my critique partners

I sent it to my first critique partner basically with a note that said, "I'm pretty sure this sucks please help."

And I mean there were a lot of reasons for my insecurity with this book specifically revolving around the

fact that it's the last book of my trilogy and I know it's getting published so I was feeling more pressure

than usual with this one because I mean there are a lot of things I want to accomplish with that book

and there are a lot of expectations with the last book of a trilogy, so I was feeling it a lot.

And that's not to say I haven't felt insecure about previous manuscripts because I totally have,

and it's not to say I won't feel insecure about manuscripts in the future because I totally will,

but it was a good reminder that this writing thing doesn't really get easier.

And I mean it does get easier in some senses, like you get used to your process and get an idea of what to

expect from start to finish though sometimes a manuscript completely throws

that for a loop and you learn what kind of processes work best for you, though

sometimes you realize it might be time to mix things up, but at the same time it also doesn't.

But I think it's actually a good thing that writing doesn't get easier.

The fact that writing doesn't get easier means you're always challenging yourself and pushing yourself to get

better. And it's also just because the nature of the work

because writing a book, as I've said a million times and will probably say a million more,

is really friggin' hard but it's also because they're constantly learning new things

or at least hopefully you are so that you can improve in an area on this new manuscript that you were a little

weak on on the previous manuscript and you're pushing boundaries and breaking new rules.

And I mean every time you do that it's a little scary because you don't know that you're going to succeed

but you're trying and you're improving and you're learning.

At the end of the day when all is said and done you're

going to have something and that something is a pretty cool accomplishment.

And know that yeah writing is hard but also know that every single writer out there whether they published

15 books or none, whether this is their very first manuscript ever or it's their 20th,

we're all there struggling with you.

And you know? What we do is pretty darn cool.

3 small pieces

and 4 big pieces

Now I use a baking paper and iron

and I will make a shape.

Let it cold down

and after cooling

I can remove petals from baking paper.

and here I have petals for rose.

Now I use nail polish and I will paint petals.

I will paint second layer

but now I will paint smaller piece of petals.

and now I will make a rose.

I use one small piece

and I will roll this piece

and I use hot glue gun for fix it.

Now I use next small piece

and I will roll this piece around first piece.

and I use hot glue gun for fix it

and I will make this same with other pieces.

and I will make a shape of rose.

Now I will clean bottom of the rose.

Now I will make a sepal of the rose.

I use again baking paper and hot glue gun.

Hi! I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video and today I want to

talk to you about two things, two things that make you successful. I know that

we all have a different definition on what successful might be. We're not going

to talk about that today because there are only two simple things that make you

successful and I'm going to share them with you today. Now most people will do one

out of the two. This first thing is probably something that you've done

and the first thing is to learn new things. And I know some of my audience

out there, my followers, my likers, I know you guys are seminar-conference junkies.

And we've all been there, we've had a run of going to seminars and conferences to

teach us how to be successful whether that's in money, whether that's in stock,

whether that's in real estate, whether that's in business, health and well being, whatever

industry you're in I can presume that we have all been to a conference or a

seminar or watched a webinar to learn new things. And I think we've got that one

sorted, right? But it's the second part that's most important and this is where,

when I talk to a lot of people they fall down on. And the second part is, the most

important part is, go do them! Yes, that's right. You go to a conference, you go to a

seminar, you learn new things, you think it's the ants pants, you might even pay

money for a system or a process to make that quicker but then you don't go and

do it. We talk about the doorstop because we used to get it

in big packs it's a bit virtual now, we get in soft copy but when we used to

get the big box, the big cd packs, they used to just be a doorstop because you'd come

back to your own life and you would get busy, you'd be dealing with challenges

and team and life and partners and children

and you just wouldn't do it. If you think about the successful people in your industry, in your life, they would have

done those two things. They go and learn; they learn from the best and they pay

the money to go to those conferences and seminars. They even extend

themselves a little because they know that the outcome will be worth it. But

they don't just go home and forget about and go, "Well that was great, that was

really rah-rah and I got all motivated" but came home and did nothing. They actually

do step number two and they go home, they go back to their business and they start

implementing those things they've been taught and they implement the things

the things that they know other people have used to be successful.

It's a copy and paste and I say it to everyone it's a bit tongue and cheek, I learned to

copy and paste a long time ago. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. You've gone

to a seminar and someone is showing you a system or a process that has a certain

outcome and yes we can say that there are some people out there that you don't get thet

outcome, I'm talking there are genuine people out there talking to

large audiences and selling you a product or a system that absolutely does

have the outcomes that you're looking for, it's just how you implement them

when you get back home. So there are my two things today to be successful. One, Go and

learn. Learn, learn, learn. Keep doing that and secondly, go and do them! When you get

home, implement, implement, implement because that second step is where a lot

of people are failing to connect the dots to become successful. That's all

JAVA COFFEE SMOOTHIE - Smoothie Tuesday - Duration: 4:14.

A bright and beautiful morning to you all. Welcome to Steve's kitchen, it's a

smoothie Tuesday but it's never a good morning till I've had my coffee so today

we're going to make a java smoothie. This one is so so delicious, let me go through

the ingredients with you. Now you're going to want some frozen coffee, I've

poured really strong coffee into these ice cube trays and they've set. I've

actually used Pikes Place Starbucks, this is not sponsored, I'm just telling you

what I use for this video. We've got some bananas, we're going to flavor it with a

little bit of cardamom, I've got quarter of a cup of flat oats which is just

perfect to thicken and give us some nourishment, nice slow-release

carbohydrates. We're going to be using almond unsweetened almond milk, I'm going

to add some vanilla protein powder and because I like the texture we're going

to be adding some chia seed in there as well. So I'll start by getting the ice

cubes out, we don't want all these ice cubes I want about a cup which is about

half the tray but I'll pop our iced coffee into there. Now though I've got

fresh bananas I'm actually going to use a medium size frozen banana, I cut my

bananas up into threes and pop them into a little ziploc bag then I can just grab

three pieces of banana and add them into the blender. Frozen banana will make a

thicker smoothie, I'm adding in two tablespoons of vanilla protein powder.

Now just a little pinch, about an eighth of a teaspoon of cardamom powder this

gives a lovely flavor with coffee, a quarter of a cup of oatmeal, this is my

breakfast after all. Now this is optional but I really like it a tablespoon of

chia seeds and we're adding in a cup of almond milk in there with my coffee

stained cup, how beautiful does that look. Let's just pour it in, now I don't

actually have sweet coffee if you want a little bit of extra sweetener in here

you'll get it from the bananas but you can also add in a little bit of honey if

you want, maybe just a teaspoon, 1/2 a teaspoon. This makes two cups so you

decide. Now I wasn't going to put a sweetener in but I actually feel like it

now I've been looking at the honey, so maybe just add a teaspoon in there.

Secure the lid on your blender, power on and we're going to blend this on high

for about a minute, I've got a smoothie button so I'm

going to use it. Now that's made a super thick smoothie, if you want it thinner

then add a little more almond milk but I'm going to have it just the way it is, get

the lid off of here and give it a little shake through just to loosen it up a bit.

Now let's get them pour this out, I've got a couple of cups here, one for me and

one for Michele. Let's try and make it fairly even, now it's got a lot of

texture in there because that's the oatmeal you can leave the oatmeal out

but if you want something that's really nourishing leave it in. We've just

snapped some photographs, I've taken some granola and banana and put it on top if

you want to know how to make this delicious granola by the way you'll have

to watch episode 1 of the smoothies the recipes there. I'm ready to tuck in

I'm absolutely dying for this so let's give it a try. Bon Appetit! the bananas in

the way. It's like chocolate, it isn't chocolate obviously there's no chocolate

in it but it's rich it's so, so good, I think the combination of the banana, the

chia seed, coffee and the almond, it's just a lovely rich smoothie, an

absolutely delicious way to start the morning. If you're enjoying these

3-Year-Old Boy Killed in a San Antonio Drive-By Shooting - Duration: 1:59.

Hi, I'm Heathcliff and this is Lions Ground.

I hope you have a fantastic day.

Imagine, you riding home with your little child in a quiet evening and suddenly your

own flesh and blood, your pride, is shot dead by an idiot during a drive-by shooting.

This happened exactly with the three-year-old Rene Blancas on a Saturday evening, November

4, 11:30 pm near New Laredo Highway and Briggs Avenue in San Antonio.

The three-year-old child was in the back seat near the intersection when this tragic happened.

The suspect pulled up behind the victim's vehicle and shot one bullet that passed through

the trunk that sadly hit the head of the child according to SAPD.

The woman, probably the mother, immediately traveled to the nearest hospital, the Southwest

General Hospital.

The police were dispatched to the hospital.

They treated the boy and later transported by helicopter to University Hospital.

The 3-year-old boy did not survive his injury.

Why this happens is still a big mystery.

The police are still looking for the perpetrator.

He drove a golden or beige 4-door 2000 model Honda Civic.

The day I found out he had Down Syndrome,

I took that whole novel I'd written

and I tore it up and threw it out.

Now I'm writing a book,

One page at a time.

To this day.

Augusto was born on the 4th of September of 2000.

And through the entire pregnancy

I didn't…

I didn't know he had Down Syndrome.

I found out Augusto had Down Syndrome

three days after he was born.

My husband was told the news on our first day at the hospital

by the pediatrician

of the nursery.

He got to the nursery to see Augusto,

to see the baby.

And he said: "I'd like to see Augusto."

And the pediatrician, the Chief of Pediatrics,

she turned around and said:

"Ah, the baby born with Down Syndrome is it?"

He looked at him and said:

"No, I don't think so…no..

…is he?"

And she said: "He is."

And she was wearing her surgical mask.

I mean, she didn't even bother taking off

the mask so she could talk to him and give him the news.

Geovanna's arrival was a surprise, right?

Because I wasn't expecting that.

I already had Gabriela, she was 17 at the time.

I thought I wouldn't have any more children.

And when she was born,

the doctor took her and the pediatrician came in,

and he asked me:

"In any of the ultrasounds

did it come up that she had Down Syndrome?"

And I said: "No"

And I looked at Geovanna and I thought she looked…normal, you know?

By early morning,

the nurses and the doctors

came to tell me that, really

they'd done all the measurements

and all the characteristics indicated

Down Syndrome.

Well, Valentina was my twelfth pregnancy.

Actually we have nine children

here with us

and three in Heaven.

This is her,

this is Emanuelle,

Rafaela,

Maria Laura,

Mônica,

Victor Hugo

Bárbara

Elizabeth

And this is Debora, the oldest.

I got the news about Valentina

in the first morphology examination.

On the thirteenth week of pregnancy,

we're always asked to do a morphology examination.

And when I did this,

the doctor already warned me that she'd have a

94, I think it was,

94% chance of having Down Syndrome.

I was young, wasn't I? I was only 19.

Back then, 31 years ago,

It was a huge shock.

Because the way the doctor came to me…

I was being discharged,

we were ready to leave.

And the doctor came in, suddenly,

and started telling me

that my son had Down Syndrome,

and this and that and I don't even know,

And I…stood there, I didn't understand.

I didn't even know what that was.

After that, you don't know what to do with that information anymore.

At the time I said: "No, it's fine, there's no problem at all"

"The child will be welcome anyway."

But when I got back,

on the way home from the clinic,

I felt like…

It wasn't easy, no.

That thing, you know, very present in your heart:

"What's this going to be like?"

And he gave me the worst

diagnosis, sentences for my son's life.

"Oh… he won't live for long."

"At most, he'll get to 18 years old."

And I don't know what else.

And he kept talking, giving me all that information.

And I… I was a mother just out of postpartum care, right?

I left there bombarded.

And you can't just say that we're..

"Ah, everything's fine."

It's not fine.

So I got depressed. I cried a lot.

I didn't want..

I sort of rejected Geovanna, any way you look at it.

And my mother took care of my daughter.

And I didn't know this but the chances for a second child

to also have Down Syndrome is very high.

But I wanted one, anyway.

I found out that Guilherme was a boy.

And they did all the chromosome count.

And everything seemed in order.

Then we started noticing

that Guilherme showed some signs of intellectual disability.

By 6 months old he still couldn't sit.

He has a small paralysis on his left eyelid.

The atypical motor development caught our attention.

And I'd say:

"But God, me again?"

"Why?"

And a small voice would say:

"Wow, you didn't have to go through that now."

"You were the one who wanted her."

He has… I'm not sure if it's a diagnosis,

or traits, of autism.

♪

Which makes the Down Syndrome more difficult.

Because if he only had Down Syndrome,

the child can develop better.

But for him, on top of the Down Syndrome, he has autism.

It's as if he were a boy with double needs.

It took us 11 years to find a diagnosis for Guilherme.

He has Snyder-Robinson.

It's a very rare syndrome.

People are still studying it.

And I found out that, after three years,

right when Augusto was being discharged from all the physical therapies,

from everything,

It'd all start all over again with Guilherme.

So that was truly difficult.

It was very painful.

Because I'd say: "God, will I be strong enough for this?"

Right?

"Will I make it?"

There were..

Sorry, I still get emotional.

Because..

There were days where it was too hard.

I'd say: "I can't handle this."

He was so small

and it took a while for him to respond

to therapies and all, it was

completely different from the

response that the Down Syndrome had given me.

And she had to be breastfed

She had to feed from me.

So that was how we started to bond.

That's when I started to discover it, you know?

My love for her, her love for us.

And it was such that, you know, we embraced it.

That's when I started the process of love.

That real love that doesn't want to let go.

When I truly felt the support from my family, ...

...that passed.

A lot of people ask me:

"So have you shut down the factory?"

"Have you done the operation?"

No, I haven't.

"And what if you have another child with Down Syndrome?"

That's up to God.

We love him. From his very first day.

Today, the two of them are good friends.

And great companions.

One always took great care of the other.

So I think it was very important for Augusto to have Gui.

And vice versa.

It was very good.

And for me, don't even mention it.

I'm crazy about both of them.
