NRI Q&A, Is Aadhar Necessary For NRIs? November 2, 2017 - Duration: 6:24.

In this video, we will discuss how important is it for an NRI to have an Aadhar card

How important is Aadhar for NRIs?

This is a common question by NRIs since there is still no complete clarity on this subject

Aadhar card as per the Aadhar Act, 2016, was mandated as prerequisite for all resident Indians

Definition of resident Indian being a person who has spent at least 182 days in India in the 12 months preceeding the moment they are applying for the card

So, by that definition, NRIs or OCI holders didn't come under the purview

Since, in India, all accounts need to be linked to Aadhar by December 31, as things stand for NRIs, Aadhar is not needed

If NRIs have Aadhar, they can link it with their bank accounts

Since Aadhar is not mandatory, the existing accounts like NRE and NRO will continue the way they are

They will not be impacted by the December 31 deadline

The same applies for OCI holders

As an Indian, holding Indian passport, while visiting India, you can visit the Aadhar centres and do the needful

You can then link your bank accounts with Aadhar

GUESS THE FNAF DRAWING -- FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S FUNNY ART CHALLENGE - Duration: 12:47.

hi everybody I'm Paula and I'm going to do something else in Pix2Pix this

time I'm going to draw some things in five nights at freddys or FNAF you want

to call it that and I'm not going to tell you what they are I'm not going to

show you pictures and I want you to see if you can guess okay so let's try it

I'm going to do three things and they are from the five nights of Freddy's

games I'm not gonna tell you which game either so you have to guess yeah it's

gonna be really really hard because you know before I get started on this

anybody that doesn't know me I can't draw very good you let me know in the

comments like which one the first one second one and third one is and let's

see if you can guess them because I think it's gonna be really really hard

here we go first one

oh gosh

okay it's an elephant foot that's what it is oh my gosh that's lopsided what am

i doing okay this this is that kind of work and I know you don't know what it

is you're not gonna get it okay well let me at least try to do the mouth I think

I can do the mouth oh my gosh oh geez

okay well I think those are teeth kinda

we'll try not to make these look like elephant feet you're just like what the

heck is this lady what am i witnessing oh my goodness

oh that's bad I feel sorry for you because you're not gonna get it and it's

not going to be any easier when I turn it in pig's depicts because you know how

that is and especially if I make them furry okay it's gonna be really hard

okay well this might help right here

maybe

he's the arm with bumps what what if I say oh what did I just do I click

something on the pen and now it's just writing everywhere I'm so good at this

ok no you know I don't think I am right oh gosh

can you tell yet maybe not how I ran out of room okay there's a first one okay

what is it who is it it is a person not really a person in that forehead okay

it's just like it goes forever it is as tall as the Statue of Liberty that

forehead and okay who is it you got to tell me in the comments but

you know there's gonna be three okay don't have a nightmare when you see this

you probably will well it's kind of hard to have a nightmare in the daytime but

anyway here we go oh gosh okay I am only doing that once I'm not gonna try to get

a better one maybe that will help you know who it is maybe it won't I don't

know but hey it looks better than I expected actually after I turned it so

next one okay I'm having mercy on you guys this time this one should be easy

this should be so easy for you you should know what this is and I will try

not to totally mess it up okay it's gonna take me a while to learn how to

use this and it's still not gonna make me good at drawing but at least

hopefully I learn to control it better a little bit okay I don't know if you can

get this this is gonna be I thought it would be easy until I started drawing it

okay what is that do you know what this is yet

what's the only thing that looks like this and I'm not sure about the eyes I

found a lot of different pictures and I know some of them are drawn by people oh

boy that's good that is so good I am coloring those in they're so beautiful

and then there's like the circle around and all that just yeah it just came

right out of the eye there that's that's exactly what eyes look like that's how

they look okay it just is and do we need these down here oh it's

gonna think it has like a million legs yeah like a jellyfish with way more legs

and it's supposed to have and then it has this beautiful thing up here okay

you gotta know what that is you have to I mean I I think you can guess that one

okay now get ready for nightmare though because I don't know what its gonna look

like I'm afraid okay ready one two take a

deep breath yeah you can do it you can do it and go

oh gosh oh that's hideous

what did it do with his I'm not gonna say what did it do with this what

because then I will tell you what it is but okay so there is that one and I

don't know okay that's that's terrifying third one guess I have to clear that

first I know you can't guess this one I really do and don't forget tell me in

the comments okay like number one number two number three this one I know you

can't get seriously there's no way or maybe you'll be able

to figure it out I don't know but I doubt it because the way I draw and this

is a tough one anyway okay it's a potato that is exactly what it is and up here

this doesn't look so good in fact it looks like it's in a mess and it has

like stuff coming off of it and things

and no it's not penny wise so I clicked it again stop okay race that little part

I have got to stay away from that button okay

oh my

and again I run out of room okay I know you can't guess this one because

this is gonna be so bad

and big sockets for the eyes of course because they're diabolical and scary

gosh okay and the mouth is beautiful it is so pretty oh my goodness it is just

amazingly beautiful I don't even know how I can capture the beauty of this

that mouth and the teeth I don't know they just seem really big okay this is

terrifying it's so derpy oh I'm good at teeth okay what is it

there's no way no way you're gonna guess what this is and then at the top here

it's got like a see-through part right there I'm not sure what that's all about

but it just looks bad okay it just looks like he needs a vacation or um or he or

she I'm not gonna say oh I did that again what No

gotta get my hand off of it okay I think what it's doing is changing

my cursor okay I don't know there I have that cursor back that's better I think

okay I don't see any eyebrows that there's this thing sticking up looks

like a scar something maybe I don't know it sure doesn't look like a scar the way

I drew it

okay there what is that do you have any idea any at all wait a minute

Oh let's make this worse for you there's like little sticky looking things in

here oh my gosh what is this gonna look like when I'm done with it I mean when I

do the pigs to pics I have no oh my gosh that's bad okay what is that that is a

beautiful beautiful animatronic oh my gosh I have never seen anything so

pretty in my life okay I am afraid you know I'm kidding right okay I'm afraid

to hit process okay you're gonna have a nightmare over this I mean seriously you

are gonna have a nightmare are you ready okay let's go oh gosh No

oh oh my gosh that is nightmares okay now I'm only gonna take the first

one so you just look at that but let's see what else we could do let's see what

they would like they're all terrible

it just doesn't know what to do with that it's like what what are all these

things oh my gosh okay well good luck okay don't forget put down what you

think they are and if you have any suggestions as what you would like to

see me attempt to draw because don't expect much no I'm sure after this

you're not going to speculate okay but anyway guys you have fun and I'll talk

to you later bye

Iara Amora dos Santos GFP Interview - Duration: 35:24.

Sueann Caulfield: We are talking with Iara Amora

from the House of the Working Woman [Casa da Mulher Trabalhadora]

in Rio de Janeiro – in Lapa,

in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I want to start by talking a little bit about this organization,

the House of the Working Woman.

What is it about? What kind of work do they do,

and how did this work get started.

Can you talk a bit about the organization?

Iara Amora dos Santos: Yes, CAMTRA,

the House of the Working Woman, it's an NGO,

a feminist institution,

and it's been around for 16 years,

or 17 years.

I don't remember. It was founded in 1997.

And we work on educating women,

from the perspective of rights, education,

and information about the access to rights.

We work on educating new leaders,

which is particularly focused on young women, educating feminist leaders.

We work with groups of unstable workers,

like retail workers, informal workers, migrant workers,

and we try to inform them about rights, about access to their rights.

We work with community leadership, and women participating in this kind of work.

And we also give guidance in cases

of violations of rights,

we send people to the police station, to the hospital.

So in general, we work on the education

and information about women's rights, violence.

SC: And when you say education, do you mean through courses,

or by sending activists into the streets to talk with women?

And how do you identify [the women]?

So – what type of education, and how does it work?

IAS: Well, the strategy depends on the audience, right?

For young women, for instance,

we start with an annual course –

it was the 5th year last year.

The course, "Young Women in Defense of their Rights,"

is an awareness-building course where we talk about violence,

sexism, racism,

homophobia,

sexuality.

We start with the course,

and then we organize activities

with these young women in their communities,

where they live or where they study;

we respond to their requests,

to their own organizations.

So there are some young women who participate in a more on-going way.

They come to the course and then there's follow-up.

But we also need to reach the women who

aren't going to come to the course –

they're not coming to a meeting on the weekend,

or at night.

So we also organize activities in the communities where they live.

Sometimes workshops, sometimes classes,

but also street activities –

like distributing pamphlets, or organizing cultural activities –

to reach other young women who are not coming to CAMTRA

or to a course.

With other groups, for instance the workers of SAARA,

which is a commercial center,

or migrant workers,

we do real street work.

We have a methodology that we developed called the Tent of Rights.

We put a tent in the streets –

we bring a tent,

a table, a chair,

and informational materials.

We distribute everything to them,

including condoms.

In SAARA specifically, we have been working since 1999.

We used to have a tent up there every day,

but not nowadays.

SC: Can you – just for those who don't know Rio de Janeiro –

can you explain a bit about the neighborhood of SAARA

and the many migrant women workers.

IAS: SAARA is a popular commercial center

in downtown Rio de Janeiro,

where there are more than 6,000 businesses.

There are stores there, and workers for those stores –

but even for the ones who are hired,

it's an area with massive irregularity regarding workers' rights.

Rights are not respected.

It's undervalued work.

You're not going to find among the SAARA workers

the same kind of worker that you'll find at the mall.

The person who works at SAARA is not going to get a job at the mall

or at a store in the South Zone.

Those are workers form the poor areas of Rio,

who maybe finished high school or middle school,

and it's really very unstable –

exploitation and turnover.

And then, besides the workers in the stores,

there are also the migrant workers

who sell around this area or on Uruguaiana Street, which is closer.

So really, it's a big concentration of shops,

where there are more than 6,000 places,

thousands of workers – women and men workers.

SC: So, one aspect of the work

of the House of the Working Woman

is that you set up a tent,

and have pamphlets with information.

And in this case,

someone would be there to welcome

people who would be interested,

to explain about rights and health.

IAS: Yes, exactly. Sexual health, reproductive health,

and sexually transmitted diseases, the distribution of condoms.

These are the things we do permanently.

For a long time, we had a list of stores where there were people

who would get condoms every month.

We still have the list,

but now we're trying to change the structure a little.

Instead of bringing it to them every month,

we are checking if they would come and get it,

because we don't have the structure for this.

There are more than thirty stores,

more than three hundred people on the list.

So the infrastructure would have to be big,

to be delivering from store to store.

So we distribute pamphlets,

talk about diseases.

Another thing we do on rights

is to work with the feminist calendar.

So now in July, there will be the day of

the black Latin American and Caribbean woman,

July 25. So we're going to organize

a special tent about the black woman,

we're going to make a specific pamphlet about black women,

about the question of discrimination, about rights,

and we're going to work more specifically with this theme.

and violence.

So we're using the feminist calendar as a tool to

to disseminate information about rights and to reach those women.

Another thing we do with these workers,

when we can, is try to represent their reality correctly.

So we made a documentary film about the workers at SAARA,

about their self-esteem.

We did some research,

both about the migrant workers and the store workers,

to get to know more about their everyday life –

how many hours they work,

how many hours they spend commuting,

who does the domestic work,

who takes care of their kids while they are working.

So we do work at the local level,

but we also try to get data about those women

so that we might influence public policies and

use this information elsewhere.

SC: So, if I understand correctly, the organization

provides information, and is educational in this sense

And who finances CAMTRA?

Are you an NGO?

IAS: Yes.

SC: So, this is not public money, right?

IAS: No. We have a number of sponsorships.

Right now we have a sponsorship from

the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation.

We have different funding sources,

and not any regular sponsorship

that maintains the structure of the organization.

We have various institutions that we partner with,

but not a regular funding source.

In the U.S., there is an institution that has helped us often,

many times already – the Global Funds for Women.

Since the very beginning of our institution,

we've gotten funding for many projects.

This year we also got one.

And then we also have the help

of small funds in Brazil, like FASE.

So that's the kind of support that I mean like this,

they're not regular.

They always focus on a specific project.

But those are institutions that we can maintain a partnership with,

that we go back to for certain things.

But the majority are external resources,

from outside of Brazil.

SC: Can you talk more about how this institution was created?

How did the idea emerge, and how was the institution founded?

IAS: So, CAMTRA was created, it was founded...

by its director, Eleutéria.

SC: She was the director of what?

Iara: Eleutéria was the main coordinator of CAMTRA.

She was an activist against the dictatorship,

and she had been active for years in political parties.

She was active against the dictatorship,

in this movement against the dictatorship.

Later she moved away from this path of party politics,

and at some given moment, well,

I mean even when she was there doing that work,

she was already discussing issues related to women.

But at a certain point she made a choice,

she made a rupture, by leaving this mixed space

[of party politics and women's activism]

and turning specifically just to the work with women.

So there's a thing she always said,

that this developed from

her personal experience –

of having three daughters,

of being a mother with three daughters,

and seeing the lack of public policies

for the woman worker, for the mother.

So the institution was sort of born from this personal experience too.

SC: And can we talk a bit about you?

For sure you weren't in the beginning of this…

You seem a lot younger than a person

who was working in the '60s or '70s.

When did you start,

and what brought you to this work –

if you can talk a bit about your professional life,

but also about your personal life.

What made you want to work in a place like this one?

IAS: There's no way that I can separate this.

The institution was founded in 1997,

and I am Elutéria's daughter.

So it's impossible to separate.

SC: So, you're one of those three daughters?

IAS: I am!

I've been here at this institution since I was 14.

SC: Your mom was an activist, she was creating –-

IAS: Yes, this was at the beginning of the institution,

and there was no infrastructure, no team.

So I was here a lot.

And also, it was her strategy –

come and help, answer the phone, do this.

And I always say, in truth,

CAMTRA was my big school of life.

I came when I was 14 and I'm going to turn 30.

So in truth I became a feminist,

I was educated as a feminist.

Really I learned – as a person, my ideologies –

this really had to do with my work at CAMTRA.

So it's really impossible to separate these things.

When I started here, I was still in high school,

I was studying at a high school –

now I've finished college,

I studied law.

SC: So, you're a lawyer?

IAS: Yes, I'm a lawyer.

And I did a graduate course in Chile –

a non-degree graduate course in Chile about human rights and women,

at the University of Chile,

independent from my academic training.

And for sure, I've learned many more things here,

much more than in college.

I was in a faculty of law,

and didn't study anything about women's rights,

or anything about conventions that exist about women.

I finished college in 2008,

and the Maria da Penha Law was in 2006, I finished college in 2008,

and the Maria da Penha Law was in 2006,

but that was like a speck in all of the material

that the professors taught,

and there was really nothing to do about that.

So really, my education as an activist,

as a professional, it happened at this institution.

SC: But you took a course in Chile, specifically about…

IAS: Yes, yes.

SC: How do you see the relationship,

or how important is it for you,

between theoretical thinking or the intellectual thinking

about women's condition and the history of women and of feminism,

and practice, the practice of working with people,

with working women,

providing this education.

IAS: So I think...

intellectual training doesn't happen only at college.

Here we also make knowledge,

we also study.

But this graduate course specifically was very important for me

because for the first time

I got it that I have a space

that connects those two experiences.

College was something totally isolated from my experience

as an activist, as a feminist.

So in the course, because it was a specific program on human rights,

directed at women's human rights,

it was the first time that I succeeded in connecting these two realms.

And from there, I studied the feminist theory of law.

These were things I had never heard of in college.

There were people studying the theoretical feminists,

but never with a focus on the law specifically.

So this was very important in this sense too.

SC: But on the other hand, you say that it's not only in college,

it's not just from intellectuals and professionals

that you learn and make knowledge.

What do you learn from people?

Both from your colleagues here,

and from other people whom you work with,

such as the women workers you serve.

IAS: I think everything.

It's like this: we don't go to any space

where it's just that we bring our own knowledge.

We exchange, and we work

with the life experience of everyone.

It isn't worth it for me to arrive in some territory

with the Maria da Penha Law and say,

"Here's the law, so go to the police station."

This woman can't go to the police station,

because the police won't go where she is,

so they are not going to protect her life,

so it's an exchange all the time. It's about talking –

both informing about the legal tools,

but also asking what is their reality,

what can work in that reality.

What are other strategies, other alternatives

they are creating, right?

SC: And the women who take the courses here,

who seek you out.

Do they come with a goal?

They're just interested,

or they're trying to be leaders

in a social movement,

or why would someone take this course.

IAS: So

the audience we reach through these courses,

they are women who, in some way or another,

are already in some social movement,

but where a discussion of women's issues is missing,

or they are looking to gain strength in this,

to bring this theme to the places where they are already active –

their social movement, whether at the university or at a school.

They miss more openness about women's issues,

and they want to strengthen their activism too.

So there are many compañeras [comrades]

who come with a story about sexism

in the movements they participate in –

that they can't reach certain positions

or that they're not respected in the meetings.

So they come to get stronger in these discussions.

There are also those women who say,

"I never participated but I always wanted to."

So then there are girls,

there are women, who say,

"Well, I've always been a feminist but I didn't realize it."

Like, I've always been uncomfortable with things inside my house,

uncomfortable with things inside my family,

but I have never found a space where I could think about this,

where other people were thinking about this.

So the ones who come to the course are of this profile –

there's not going to be a SAARA worker there.

SC: Because they don't have time?

IAS: Because they don't have time to participate in a course like that.

There are women leaders in the communities

who are searching for support,

who want to strengthen their local work,

like what information to bring,

what materials. But also they're looking for us to go there,

to be acting there with them.

It's rare for women who come and participate in a course

not to ask to participate directly with us.

They all bring this to their own activism.

We also have a course for teachers,

focused on educating professionals

and preschool teachers, teachers of preschool,

the course is a level that can...

be taught together with high school,

like technical training,

and this is where we focus on debating the issues of gender,

prejudice, discriminations,

inside the classroom to see how we can change this.

So those are the professionals who participate,

and there are also students.

So these women too are very much in search

of taking this to their everyday lives,

to think about how to do this work in the classroom.

SC: And so they come by their own means,

you don't give them a fellowship?

IAS: Oh, no. These are free courses,

all our activities are free,

and we pay for the transportation.

Sometimes, depending, but if it's for lodging, or food –

we always have this covered, we pay attention to that,

because these are women who don't have money to spend this way.

SC: So they would come from a rural zone, so they have to travel here?

IAS: Yes.

SC: Interesting, so how do you see this kind of work,

which is quite specific –

it's an NGO, it's about the formation of leadership,

it's distributing information,

it's trying to help public polices through this education

about information, if I understood well,

more or less, everything that the organization does.

How do you see this type of work right now in Brazil,

within the context of the history of feminism in Brazil,

women's rights in Brazil?

How do you see your own personal contribution and the organization,

in this bigger context?

IAS: Taking the history of women's rights in Brazil

and the feminist battles and achievements,

what we can see today is that we formally achieved many laws –

we now have many guarantees,

even though we don't actually have all of them yet.

The fight for the legalization of abortion is one of those

that's been here since the first feminists,

and we haven't achieved that yet.

But yes, we are advancing in public policies and in laws.

But it's only that the rights achieved don't equally reach all women.

We have a formal guarantee,

but in the reality of everyday life of most women,

mainly the poor and the black women in Brazil, this doesn't happen.

So for instance, we have the Maria da Penha Law,

which was an achievement after years and years of fighting

in this movement, and it was very important for us,

but it's not implemented the way it should be.

So for me,

the importance of this work is

to help the women so they can have access,

because sometimes they know their rights,

and they know the law.

But they try to access it,

and they didn't manage to.

So then we say we'll go together

or we'll send material or a letter to some institution and say,

look this woman went there, this thing happened,

why wasn't she treated, or why wasn't she heard.

So I see very much here,

trying to make those rights reach the biggest possible number of women.

So that the women could in fact

have access to what is guaranteed in the law.

SC: So you normally send women to the local police station

in Rio de Janeiro.

Are there bigger implications when the police station

cannot defend these women's rights?

Do you help them to start a lawsuit?

IAS: We don't get involved with the litigation.

We send people to the right organizations,

such as to the public defender's office,

or to other service organizations.

And when there hasn't been effective service,

in a police station, for example,

we file a complaint with the State Council for Women's Rights

[Conselho Estadual dos Direitos da Mulher (CEDIM)],

file a complaint to the municipal ombudsman,

 to the agencies,

to the political offices that should be enforcing this policy.

Now one thing I always say is

that we can look at things from two sides.

We hear about cases of violence like this,

and of complaints, and this happens a lot through the phone,

or nowadays there's the internet too,

and there are the social networks.

So the person who participated in one of our activities

and friended us on Facebook,

and after that she comes, saying my friend,

my cousin, my colleague,

so that's more how it goes now.

One very clear difference for me that I always mention

is that before the Maria da Penha Law,

we would receive many women saying,

"I was beaten, I suffered violence,

my partner, my boyfriend, my husband assaulted me.

What should I do? Where should I go?"

Nowadays it's rare that a woman calls here

asking where she should go.

Normally she knows already

that she has to go to the police station.

So we assist them either because they didn't go,

because they are afraid to make a claim,

or because they have doubts about it –

if perhaps it will be harmful, or what is going to happen.

There are these worries, so she's not convinced yet

that filing a complaint is the right way,

or sometimes she just can't,

or what we hear more and more often is,

"I've already been to the police station,

I've already filed a complaint.

And I am still suffering violence."

So we can think that there's been improvement in awareness,

but it's clear how much the public policy is not doing what it should be.

I think it wasn't even a month ago that we assisted a woman –

Eleutéria took the lead in this case –

the woman was a victim of violence

and she couldn't file a complaint because

the guy was connected to drug trafficking,

so even if he was put in jail,

she was going to suffer violence from other people in the ring.

So she had to leave the place where she lived.

And it took us almost a week,

Eleutéria doing the most,

of being in direct contact with the institutions,

the coordinators, the secretaries,

trying to find a shelter for her.

It's very difficult for women to gain the benefits

of public policies.

In the end, she did.

But it's not easy, it would have been

impossible for her to do that on her own.

We don't know if she could reach the help.

And it's a very difficult situation, because

to go to a shelter is to leave all of your life behind.

You are the one who has to leave, as if in jail, isolated,

without work or study, no contact with family members.

They can't even know where you are.

So those are very hard situations, really. Extreme really.

SC: And one last question about the context of your work

in the feminist movement with organizations

that work with these issues of women.

You have lots of international connections.

How do you see the Brazil situation in the international context?

Do you see Brazil as advanced in comparison to other countries,

behind, moving at the same pace?

What things are specific, what things do they have in common?

How do you see this?

IAS: I wouldn't know how to answer this exactly.

Our activism is more local and national.

I mean, we have contacts with other organizations….

SC: Like the one that sponsored a project, from the U.S.?

IAS: Yes. And also in international meetings of feminists.

But I don't know if I have an evaluation,

or if we are better or worse.

Well, I don't know,

talking about what's going on in other countries

makes me feel uncomfortable,

because I don't feel I have this expertise.

What I feel as a feminist, here in Brazil,

becomes increasingly clear to me.

It makes more and more sense over time.

And then we can see what's happening

with this movement in some other countries

and not in others. For instance,

Argentina has been able to obtain advancements

on the issue of equal marriage;

Uruguay got the legalization of abortion.

From this perspective,

we'd have to say that we are very behind.

We feel a growing conservatism in society and in congress,

mainly in relation to sexual rights and reproductive rights.

It's a field in which we've been attacked,

and it's hard to see any possibility in the short term

of making progress here,

and we're fighting so that we don't lose ground.

We are in a very hard situation in this sense.

SC: So, this was my last thing –

how you see the future,

what you need to do.

But you've already responded.

IAS: There is one thing, can I say something specific?

SC: Of course.

IAS: There's a bill now, at the national congress –

in Brazil,

abortion is permitted in the case of rape,

sexual violence,

pregnancy resulting from sexual violence,

or when the mother's life it at risk.

Recently the Supreme Court

ruled that when the fetus doesn't have a brain,

abortion is admissible in that case as well.

So, there are some proposed laws we've been struggling against,

including a specific one that,

now that we're about to have elections,

we know will probably be used [by candidates during their campaigns] –

the Statute of the Unborn,

which gives full protection

to the unborn from conception,

which interferes directly even in cases when the abortion is legal.

There would be investigations, right?

So if you're pregnant and you lose the baby,

you become a suspect.

What did you do to lose the baby?

Did you do anything that caused you to lose it?

So the woman becomes a suspect.

And there is another thing that we think is very serious –

the possibility of a sort of stipend that a woman

who becomes pregnant from a rape would receive.

If she doesn't do the legal abortion,

she would get a stipend until the child reaches 18.

So making this as if the only issue were a financial one, right?

As if you didn't want to have a pregnancy resulting from a rape

just because of the financial issues.

This is something so...

contradictory, so absurd –

the money is going to be given by the dad,

even though the dad is a rapist

and should be in jail.

So, you recognize the paternity of the rapist.

We are at this juncture,

it's a very hard moment in this sense.

In the last election, when Dilma was elected,

there was an agenda that was used very strongly

and now we're getting ready that this probably is going to happen.

SC: Meaning now, in this election?

IAS: Yes.

SC: Oh, Iara. Thank you very much. We will stop here.

I Got Transformed Into Cara Delevingne | Beauty Evolution | Refinery29 - Duration: 4:46.

When you look at her face, you're like, "Wow!"

I love how Cara doesn't take herself too seriously.

She's an incredibly, hot, fierce supermodel but she's making silly faces and dancing

around and laughing at herself.

Will you marry me, Cara?

Just in case you haven't already, make sure to hit the subscribe button below so you don't

miss anything.

I definitely relate to Cara.

I feel like if I met her, we would just be friends.

I heard in an interview Cara talking about how after 10 shots of being all serious and

model-y, she's got to break in some funny faces just to loosen up.

I love how open Cara seems.

I just want to do a little bravo to Cara for her bravery coming out about the Harvey Weinstein

instant that she experienced.

I hope that Cara is feeling the support right now of all the women that are here with her

and have gone through similar things.

I think it's so incredibly brave that she came out and shared that story, so thank you.

I love how Cara's been able to embrace her differences.

Her features are incredibly striking and I'm excited to try to emulate it.

I love the early Cara look.

It brings me back to my childhood when I was obsessed with Avril Lavigne.

How do I look?

I feel like her already.

I appreciate her resting scowl.

I feel like I do that too.

You know with the straight, kind of rocker hair and the dark eyes, and the fierce expressions.

I miss my long hair.

This is going to feel good.

Bring in the mirror!

What?

That's crazy.

This is such a good wig.

It's super laidback and her style and people can see themselves in her more and relate to her.

That's why she had so much success right away.

Sup, girl?

I feel like I should be practicing my English accent.

This look is from a Met Gala.

It's very old, classic Hollywood glam.

I love it.

I'm so excited to try it out.

The warmer tones are very nice to look at and it's very simple and classic.

I haven't even seen myself, but I feel like her.

What?

That's crazy!

I don't look like myself.

I have completely transformed.

I feel like I'm ready to walk the red carpet, but also like I want to make some crazy faces.

I'm gonna smirk.

Bye brows.

See you soon.

I am most excited for Look Three because I've always wanted to see what I'd look like

with basically no hair.

So that'll be awesome.

I wish that I had her metal dress, but that'll have to wait for another day.

This look is from the Valerian premiere, which was a huge step up in her career because she

carried this woman-forward action movie, which is super awesome.

And I think that the look represents that.

Okay, can I see it?

What?

This is so cool!

I feel like I'm a space alien, a really cool one.

This was super fun.

I feel powerful.

I want to walk down a runway.

She's still so young.

It's so exciting to see what she's done already and to think about where she's gonna

go from here.

I can't wait.

How I became an entrepreneur at 66 | Paul Tasner - Duration: 6:58.

I'd like to take you back about seven years in my life.

Friday afternoon,

a few days before Christmas 2009.

I was the director of operations

at a consumer products company in San Francisco,

and I was called into a meeting that was already in progress.

That meeting turned out to be my exit interview.

I was fired, along with several others.

I was 64 years old at the time.

It wasn't completely unexpected.

I signed a stack of papers,

gathered my personal effects,

and left to join my wife

who was waiting for me at a nearby restaurant,

completely unaware.

Fast-forward several hours,

we both got really silly drunk.

(Laughter)

So, 40 plus years of continuous employment

for a variety of companies, large and small,

was over.

I had a good a network, a good reputation --

I thought I'd be just fine.

I was an engineer in manufacturing and packaging.

I had a good background.

Retirement was, like for so many people,

simply not an option for me.

So I turned to consulting for the next couple of years

without any passion whatsoever.

And then an idea began to take root,

born from my concern for our environment.

I wanted to build my own business,

designing and manufacturing biodegradable packaging from waste --

paper, agricultural, even textile waste --

replacing the toxic, disposable plastic packaging

to which we've all become addicted.

This is called clean technology,

and it felt really meaningful to me.

A venture that could help to reduce the billions of pounds

of single-use plastic packaging dumped each year

and polluting our land, our rivers and our oceans,

and left for future generations to resolve --

our grandchildren,

my grandchildren.

And so now at the age of 66,

with 40 years of experience,

I became an entrepreneur for the very first time.

(Cheers)

(Applause)

Thank you.

But there's more.

(Laughter)

Lots of issues to deal with:

manufacturing, outsourcing, job creation,

patents, partnerships, funding --

these are all typical issues for a start-up,

but hardly typical for me.

And a word about funding.

I live and work in San Francisco.

And if you're looking for funding,

you are typically going to compete with some very young people

from the high-tech industry,

and it can be very discouraging and intimidating.

I have shoes older than most of these people.

(Laughter)

I do.

(Laughter)

But five years later,

I'm thrilled and proud to share with you

that our revenues have doubled every year,

we have no debt,

we have several marquee clients,

our patent was issued,

I have a wonderful partner

who's been with me right from the beginning,

and we've won more than 20 awards for the work that we've done.

But best of all,

we've made a small dent --

a very small dent --

in the worldwide plastic pollution crisis.

(Applause)

And I am doing the most rewarding and meaningful work of my life right now.

I can tell you there's lots of resources available to entrepreneurs of all ages,

but what I really yearned for five years ago

was to find other first-time entrepreneurs

who were my age.

I wanted to connect with them.

I had no role models, absolutely none.

That 20-something app developer from Silicon Valley

was not my role model.

(Laughter)

I'm sure he was very clever --

(Laughter)

I want to do something about that,

and I want all of us to do something about that.

I want us to start talking more

about people who don't become entrepreneurs until they are seniors.

Talking about these bold men and women who are checking in

when their peers, in essence, are checking out.

And then connecting all these people across industries, across regions,

across countries --

building a community.

You know, the Small Business Administration tells us

that 64 percent of new jobs created in the private sector in the USA

are thanks to small businesses like mine.

And who's to say that we'll stay forever small?

We have an interesting culture

that really expects when you reach a certain age,

you're going to be golfing, or playing checkers,

or babysitting the grandkids all of the time.

And I adore my grandchildren --

(Laughter)

and I'm also passionate

about doing something meaningful in the global marketplace.

And I'm going to have lots of company.

The Census Bureau says that by 2050,

there will be 84 million seniors in this country.

That's an amazing number.

That's almost twice as many as we have today.

Can you imagine how many first-time entrepreneurs there will be

among 84 million people?

And they'll all have four decades of experience.

(Laughter)

So when I say, "Let's start talking more about these wonderful entrepreneurs,"

I mean, let's talk about their ventures,

just as we do the ventures of their much younger counterparts.

The older entrepreneurs in this country have a 70 percent success rate

starting new ventures.

70 percent success rate.

We're like the Golden State Warriors of entrepreneurs --

(Laughter)

(Applause)

And that number plummets to 28 percent for younger entrepreneurs.

This is according to a UK-based group called CMI.

Aren't the accomplishments of a 70-year-old entrepreneur

every bit as meaningful,

every bit as newsworthy,

as the accomplishments of a 30-year-old entrepreneur?

Of course they are.

That's why I'd like to make the phrase "70 over 70" just as --

(Laughter)

just as commonplace as the phrase "30 under 30."

(Applause)

Thank you.

(Cheers)

(Applause)

Zak Abel - All I Ever Do Is Say Goodbye | Zak Abel Live at XITE HQ #3 - Duration: 3:52.

Cool! So guys, i just like you to know i'm imagining all of you naked right now.

The song is called 'All I Ever Do Is Say Goodbye'.

Too young, they fall.

That's just the way life goes.

One more empty home.

Can't eat, won't sleep, missing a part of me.

Things are different now you're gone.

Praying one day that we'll meet again.

Say the words we never said.

Every day I'm such a mess.

What I'd give for.

Just another moment by your side.

All I ever do is.

It's hard livin' without you in my life.

All I ever do is.

Man, I gotta laugh before I cry.

All I ever do is.

'Cause all I ever do, all I ever do.

All I ever do is say goodbye.

Goodbye.

Say goodbye.

Goodbye.

The future in your eyes lives in a perfect memory.

Hanging on for life.

Though you've gone too soon.

And left me feeling heavy.

I celebrate our time.

All I ever do is say goodbye.

Those were glory days.

And I'm gonna miss them Through it all, I prayed.

I hope that you were listenin'.

Just another moment by your side.

If you now, sing along.

It's hard livin' without you in my life.

Don't be shy.

Man, I gotta laugh before I cry.

Even laughter!

'Cause all I ever do, all I ever do.

All I ever do is say goodbye.

Goodbye.

Say goodbye.

All I ever do is say goodbye.

'Cause all I ever do, all I ever do, all I ever do.

Is say goodbye.

Thank you.

Guardianship and Aging in Intellectual Disability Part I (8 Minutes) - Duration: 8:21.

>> Hello and welcome to this training on Guardianship and Aging for persons with intellectual disability.

This training was prepared by the Center for Developmental Disabilities Evaluation and

Research on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Developmental Services.

My name is Jackie Berman and I'm an attorney with the department.

In this training, you'll learn about various types of guardians, as well as others who may

be authorized to consent to treatment decisions for persons with intellectual disabilities

who have been found incompetent by the court.

We'll also discuss when it's appropriate to appoint a guardian, or to expand the

scope of a guardian's authority.

Because guardianship consent can be complicated, we'll end the presentation with a series of

cases to help illustrate some of the complexity involved, especially in medical treatment decisions

or where there may be conflicting opinions.

>> Throughout his or her life, a person may have changing needs for assistance in making

important life decisions.

As a child until the age of 18, a child's parent or other authorized adult has a responsibility

to manage the child's decisions.

Once the child reaches adulthood, the parent does not automatically become that child's

guardian.

Similarly, just because a person has an intellectual disability doesn't mean that he or she is

unable to make decisions about his or her own life.

If a clinical team evaluates and determines that the person is incapable of making some

or all decisions, their report may be filed along with a petition for guardianship in

a probate court.

If the court appoints a guardian, the scope of the guardianship may be limited to just

certain areas that the person needs help with such as helping to manage someone's day to

day finances or making minor medical decisions.

As a person ages, however, needs can become more complex.

A person may develop the need for guardianship or expansion of a guardianship.

This is done by petitioning the court to modify or expand the guardian's role.

Who may become someone's guardian?

Most often, it's an involved family member, a parent or sibling, for example.

Or it could be a family friend or anyone else concerned about the person's well-being.

If there's not a family member or close friend involved, an advocate from an advocacy agency

that provides guardianship services, could be appointed by a court.

Is a family member automatically a guardian?

Well, the court generally prefers parents or family members, they are not always appointed

if the court does not find them suitable.

And again, once a child turns 18, the parent does not automatically become the child's

guardian.

Also, anyone who has ever assaulted, abused, or neglected the person may not become their

guardian.

As an individual ages, especially if they develop dementia, it may be appropriate to

appoint a guardian.

If a guardianship is already in place, the guardian's authority may need to be expanded

by the court in order to make decisions of great consequence.

These decisions include the decision to place someone in a nursing facility, to administer

anti-psychotic medication, to make end-of-life treatment decisions, and any other decisions

that require substituted judgment by a court.

These are major decisions that have traditionally been made by a court of law.

Let's take a minute to review that.

Any adult whether or not they a diagnosis of intellectual disability, who is capable

of making informed decisions and managing their affairs, is competent and no guardianship

is needed.

In fact, it would be inappropriate.

If however, a clinical team determines that a person's incapable of making informed decisions,

a petition can be filed in probate court where the court will determine whether or not the

standards are sufficiently met for the appointment of a guardian.

In some cases, the treatment decisions that the guardian will be asked to make have such

major consequences that the scope of the guardianship may require expansion.

Some of these decisions include treatment with anti-psychotic medications and end-of-life

decisions.

A guardian for a person with intellectual disability must also get the court's approval

prior to placing any individual in a nursing facility.

Let's review who can be a guardian.

It can be pretty much any adult as long as they are caring and concerned for the person

and are willing and able to make informed decisions that are in the person's best interest.

And of course, anyone who has mistreated the person may not be their guardian.

Sometimes a guardian is needed only to manage or consent to certain matters. Perhaps a medical

decision or ongoing medical care.

The guardianship may be limited to a certain period of time during which the person is

considered to be incapacitated or incapable of making informed decisions such as during

an investigation or illness or psychiatric hospitalization.

A full guardian has full legal authority to manage all aspects of the person's care and

treatment.

This includes decisions for which a person must be able to provide informed consent.

There are some exceptions.

For example, consenting to extraordinary treatment decisions, which may require expanded authority

as well as decisions that we all have by virtue of basic human rights and dignity such as

choosing our friends, the right to marry who we choose, the right to privacy and integrity

of our bodies as long as there are no serious risks of harm to self or others.

Decisions that have such important consequences that courts of law have typically been involved

may only be authorized by a guardian with expanded authority.

Some of these decisions include using anti-psychotic medication and making end-of-life treatment

decisions such as Do Not Resuscitate orders.

Also, admitting someone to a nursing home for a period anticipated to be longer than

60 days requires special authorization procedures.

There are a couple of instances where someone may not have a guardian but if they are incapable

of consenting or become incapacitated then someone can consent on their behalf.

Where a person has a loving family member who is involved in the person's life, that

family member may consent to a Do Not Resuscitate or Do Not Intubate Order.

Also, a competent person may name one or more people who can make decisions on their behalf

if they become incapacitated.

These are known as healthcare agents and they are named in the legal document called health care

proxy.

Let's do a quick review of the types of guardians there are and their roles.

A limited guardian may be appointed to manage only certain areas that the court determines

the person is incapable of managing by him or herself.

A full guardian has responsibility to make decisions in all areas.

However, this may need to be expanded in order to make extraordinary decisions such as highly

intrusive and end-of-life medical decisions.

Some treatment decisions can be made on the person's behalf by people who are not guardians

but who have legal authority to make decisions such as health care agents named in an activated

health care proxy.

This is one webinar in a series on end-of-life planning with and for individuals with intellectual

disability.

These trainings and other related trainings are also available on our website or the DDS

website.

Thank you.

I Just Made an Amazing Dubstep Patch for the MicroBrute! - Duration: 2:20.

It's times like these when I can really, like,

appreciate the fact that I have an analog synthesizer.

And I know you can do this with a digital synthesizer, obviously, but -

*CLICKY CLICKY*

like freaking

It sounds so good, and it's easier for me

to just mess around on an analog when it's actually

sitting right here in front of me, instead of lieekk

The Story of My Life by Sri. Vethathiri Maharishi CHAPTER 14 Marriage - Duration: 7:08.

CHAPTER - 14 MARRIAGE

On one side, I was impelled to better my prospects, financially.

On the other was the pull of philosophy.

I was impatient to discover for myself the nature of life and of God.

I was therefore steeped in thought all the time.

I was firm in my conviction that perseverance alone would lead to prosperity.

With equal faith I believed that constancy in the pursuit of Truth would secure for me

a vision of God some day.

I never felt the least liking for the job in which I was working.

But what was the alternative if I give it up?

I continued at that post, planning to resign it the moment I obtained employment elsewhere.

I first got fifteen rupees as pay.

My weaving brought in about ten rupees.

That total of twenty five rupees was just enough in those days for my own maintenance

and for making a small remittance to my parents.

But what about the future?

Moreover, walking six furlongs, morning and evening, slogging away at my loom and then

getting back to the other work, were severe strain on me.

I wanted to finish with this business of weaving.

For that, I should first secure another part time job.

When this wish possessed me, I did get a part time job as teacher in a school run by one

Mr. Ratnam Pillai.

He treated me with affection and deference.

I taught English at this place for two hours in the morning and one hour in the evening.

The pay was ten rupees a month.

The work was lighter, it is true, compared to weaving.

But again, was there any future in it?

While one day I was thus sunk in deep thought, I had a brain wave.

"I am a qualified Ayurvedic physician and pharmacist.

Why not I take that as my profession?"

That seemed to have a future in it.

But, what was there I could do for a beginning?

My mind was soon made up.

I should manufacture and sell tooth powder, and pills to take along with pan (betel leaf).

I prepared pan pills, using the most expensive ingredients like musk and saffron, as taught

by master, Vaidya Bhoopati S. Krishna Rao.

A phial containing one hundred pills I priced a quarter of a rupee.

I started selling it in the office in which I was working.

It caught on slowly, but steadily.

For an outlay of ten rupees, the profit was forty rupees, on a monthly turnover.

The tooth powder bore the trade name, Sikhaamani.

Both preparations together yielded a profit of fifty rupees a month.

I breathed freely.

I glimpsed the light of prosperity ahead with hope new born and strong.

My parents had tried to arrange my marriage in my

twenty third year.

My Father had asked my brother in law to give his daughter in marriage to me, but

he preferred an alliance with someone who was in more affluent

circumstances.

I myself felt inclined to marry only my sister's daughter Logambal by name.

My parents regretted my brother in law's decision.

They asked me if they could look for a suitable bride elsewhere.

My sister's daughter and I had grown up together as

children and had known and understood each other well.

She had secured a permanent place in my affections.

Hence I could not think of another girl replacing

her in my heart.

I said no.

All talk of marriage ceased.

Six months after this, I had the misfortune to lose my

Father.

After this bereavement, when I came back to Madras

I gave up my part time job as a teacher, as I found I derived

an adequate income from my medicinal preparations.

Mr. Chokkalinga Gramani was our next door neighbour.

He asked me one day to coach his two sons at home,

and offered to pay seven rupees a month for that.

I hesitated at first and then agreed.

After about two months, he spoke to me.

He asked, Why are you postponing your marriage?"

I answered, "I haven't got the funds for that".

The chit fund I was subscribing to would yield just

one hundred rupees.

My own budget requirement for a wedding was two hundred rupees.

I explained this to him in full.

He offered to give me the balance of one hundred rupees as a loan without interest and encouraged

me to arrange for the wedding as early as possible.

I confided the whole matter to my "adoptive" father at the opposite house.

He came with his wife at once and asked my brother in law for his consent.

My brother in law gave no answer at first.

But those two people would not let the matter rest.

They persisted.

Somehow they managed, at the end, to settle the alliance.

I was to marry the girl on whom I had set my heart.

I collected the amount needed and kept it ready.

I was very happy at the thought of having as a helpmate, whose mind was in tune with

mine, and who was intelligent and highly cultured.

I wanted to lead an ideal married life and I had sought the most fitting partner I could

find to realise that ideal in practice.

I succeeded.

The wedding was solemnised without extravagance of any kind.

My mother's heart was now content.

I had arranged for my brother's marriage also.

Both weddings took place on the same day.

I persuaded my Mother to come and live with us.

My brother also resided with me.

We rented a separate house and commenced our married life.

I had found a wife whose good looks matched he goodness.

I had an income adequate to my needs.

It was certainly a life full of happiness.

But not quite fully!

Deep down, the cup of joy was not full.

"What is the nature of life?

Where is God to be found?

How is poverty in the world to be wiped out?"

These questions demanded an answer.

They became more insistent with each passing day.

Cinnamon Roll Cake | Gemma's Bigger Bolder Baking Ep 198 - Duration: 6:08.

Hi Bold Bakers!

You know that we love cinnamon rolls here on bigger bolder baking, I have made them

in a mug, I've made a no-knead version, and I've even made savory ones with bacon

and cream cheese.

Today we're gonna add another delicious recipe to the list and we are going to make a cinnamon

roll cake.

So let's get baking!

So before we get started, the recipe for this cinnamon cake can be found on my website,

BiggerBolderBaking.com, make sure you head over there because I've got tons of recipes

over there that aren't even on YouTube.

Also, do no forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don't miss out on any upcoming

videos.

Okay, let's start out by making the cinnamon roll filling for our cake.

So into a bowl we're going to add some room temperature butter.

Now you want to make sure it's room temperature because we're gonna mix this by hand, so

it has to be nice and soft.

Next we're gonna add in some cinnamon, some brown sugar, and then a little bit of flour.

So what the flour does in this recipe, it kind of thickens the cinnamon mix so it doesn't

run all over your cake.

Okay, lovely, and then I'm gonna take a whisk and then just mix them all together

until combined.

I have to admit I think this is my favorite part of a cinnamon roll, especially when it

kind of oozes out and it bakes into the tin and it gets kind of chewy and all caramel-y.

Mm, yummy.

Okay so now this is all mixed up, so I'm gonna add it in to my piping bag.

Now I fitted my piping bag with a round nozzle because I want that round shape for when I

go pipe this filling.

Recently I started using reusable piping bags and they're really fantastic, and much less

waste.

Okay, there you go, fantastic, now we're gonna leave this out at room temperature,

do not put it into the fridge or it'll turn hard as a rock.

We're gonna put it aside while we make our cake.

So now this type of cake is one of my favorites.

It's really easy and you just mix it up by hand, you don't need a stand mixer or

anything like that.

So in a large bowl we're gonna add in our dry ingredients.

Flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

And then whisk all these ingredients together.

So that's our dry ingredients, pretty straightforward, we're gonna set this aside and get started

on our wet ingredients.

So into my jug I'm gonna add in some eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and flavorless oil.

Now you can use any kind of flavorless oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, vegetable oil,

just don't use olive oil because it has too much of a strong flavor.

Okay, lovely.

Now when everyone is in there, give them a whisk all together.

Now go ahead and add your wet ingredients straight into your dry.

And then just take a whisk or a spatula and then just mix it all together gently until

there's no more lumps.

So you did hear me right earlier on, I have made a savory cinnamon roll, if you haven't

seen it make sure you check it out, there is bacon in there, garlic, scallions, cream

cheese, it's one of my favorite recipes.

Okay perfect, this cake batter is looking great, now it's time to put it into our

tin.

Okay, so for your cake mold, this is nine inches, you can use a little bit bigger or

a little bit smaller, that's totally fine, I get so many questions about the brands that

I use, this is called Trudeau, and I absolutely love it.

I'll tell you why, because it is nonstick, you don't have to grease it and when something

is baked, it pops right out so it's really, really simple.

I'm gonna put information in the description box about this brand.

Okay, now, here is my cake batter, in it goes.

Okay, there you go, cake batter is in, now, for our filling.

This is the really fun part.

What we're going to do is create that lovely spiral that cinnamon rolls have, so with your

piping bag, start in the middle, apply a little bit of pressure, not too much, and simply

go around the top of the cake, and create that lovely shape.

Now I know this sounds kinda crazy but when this bakes the cinnamon filling will sink

into the cake and create an indent and it will look beautiful.

So just go all the way around.

Don't bring the cinnamon filling all the way to the edge, just give it a little bit

of space.

Okay, perfect.

I tell you what, if it looks this good unbaked, just imagine how it's gonna look when it's

done.

Gorgeous.

Okay, now this guy is ready for the oven.

Bake your cake off at 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 180 degrees Celsius for around an hour,

an hour and 10 minutes, or until it's firm on top.

So now while our cake is in the oven, it is time to make our delicious glaze for the top.

Now you cannot have a cinnamon roll without a lovely cream cheese glaze.

It's really, really simple to make, so into our bowl, we're going to add in some room

temperature cream cheese.

Now you wanna make sure you use room temperature so it's much easier to mix.

Next we're gonna add in some icing sugar, a little bit of milk, and then if you have

it, some vanilla extract, because vanilla extract makes everything better.

And then whisk it all together until there's no more lumps.

I don't know about you guys, but when it comes to desserts I think my favorite part

is the top and the bottom, so like the base of a cheesecake, or the frosting on a cake,

oh man.

I could eat it by itself.

Okay, lovely, no more lumps, looking good.

Now I can smell my cake in the air, I'm pretty sure it's almost done, so I'm gonna

go check on it.

I really wish you could smell this right now, it is insane.

Look how beautiful and golden brown it is on top.

So you can tell that your cake is done if it's firm on top when you push it.

This looks perfect.

It doesn't take a long time to cook, but it's well worth the wait.

So this is why I I've these molds, watch this.

Pop!

Your cake pops right out.

So you see we didn't even grease this and it pops out clean and perfect.

Now I'm gonna set this aside and let it cool down for around 15 to 20 minutes before

I glaze it.

So now our cake has cooled but it is still warm, so this is the perfect time to pour

over our frosting.

If you do it while it's still warm it will kind of soak into the cake, so be generous

with this, remember this is Bigger Bolder Baking, go big or go home.

Fantastic.

This is the perfect cake if you're doing a brunch, or having a tea party, or something

like that.

Who would not love a slice of this?

Gorgeous.

There's something so comforting about cinnamon as well.

Beautiful, just drizzle your frosting all over the top, and it will end up looking like

this, a big, giant cinnamon roll.

Okay, so now one of the beauties of this cake is actually going to be the spiral of cinnamon

on the inside, so let me cut a slice and show you what it looks like.

Okay, so do you see that?

All of those ripples of cinnamon going throughout the cake, that is what we created.

How gorgeous is that?

This recipe gives you all the flavors of a cinnamon roll without the long wait and effort.

So I'm gonna dig in while it's still warm.

Mm, this is comfort food, without a doubt.

Cinnamon, soft cake, and then frosting on top, mm.

I love these kinds of recipes.

I really hope you enjoyed this recipe, and if you do try it out, make sure you give it

a star rating on my website, I would really appreciate it.

And I'll see you back here really soon, for more Bigger Bolder Baking.

GoPro Hero 6 VS Sony X3000 | Best Vlogging Actioncam [고프로6 vs 소니 x3000] - Duration: 12:02.

[Prigen, Indonesia]

Hello. My name is Jay. I'm from Korea.

I'm Hee Jae.

I'm now in Prigen, it is about an hour and a half away from Surabaya.

I met a friend here.

He said he wanted to give me a present.

Thank you~

This is it.

Action camera.

There are two action cameras. Why??

This is Go Pro sixth generation, Go Pro 6.

And the white on the top is the Sony x3000 action cam that I usually use it.

I'm fortunate enough to have the opportunity to use Go Pro new product.

I've made a video to compare Sony and Go Pro 6.

Thank you to Plaza Kamera in Surabaya for helping me.

Go pro is a well-known action camera recently.

It's known as an action camera,

I chose Sony x3000.

This video contains which one is better to use for vlogging,

is it Sony or Go Pro?

I made this tool by myself.

Usually they compared this in portrait,

but I tried to compare it in landscape.

First of all, there is big change from Go Pro 5 to Go Pro 6,

it (Go Pro 6) has 4K 60fps.

Also FHD until 240fps.

The stabilizer is developed from the last product.

Better than the last product. The resolution...

and the color are changed a lot.

I think that one is the big change...

Ah! They also put Korean language.

''Go Pro, start record''

if we say this, it will automatically on and start recording

and when we say ''Go Pro stop record", then it will be automatically stopped.

I think there are 3 things that very important in vlogging.

First is the stabilizer.

It's important for us to check whether the screen is shaking or not.

Second is using at least FHD 60fps.

The last important is the distortion.

I recommend to use the low distortion.

I will tell you about the first one.

It's about stabilizer.

In Sony, there is an optical stabilizer.

It's known as BOSS,

it's fantastic...really...

If you use it for once, you'll not use the others (because it's very good).

Because it's optical, it's not shaking at all.

We can get a very natural video.

They put a lot more strong stabilizer in this new product, Go Pro 6.

It's not optical but electronic.

The disadvantage from the electronic feature is that we can see the leap.

It's less better than optical. And...

because we need to prevent the motion,

we should crop it,

we have to cut 5% from the video to prevent the motion.

So it's the disadvantage from it because we cannot get the full video. So..

I still think that optical sensor in Sony is the best.

Second is about 60fps.

I often make a video with FHD 30fps.

Sometimes I use 24fps for movie look...

but when I make a vlog,

I use 30fps.

And because I like slow motion,

I record with 60fps and make it to 30fps to give 50% slow motion effect.

Both of Sony and Go Pro have 60fps.

But Go Pro 6 has 4K 60fps.

Isn't it wonderful?? (For Sony 4K 30fps)

I have no interest yet to use 4K 60fps because it needs large capacity.

FHD 30fps is enough for me.

Anyway... 4K 60fps in Go Pro is very good.

The last one that I want to tell you is the distortion.

If we use wide lens,

it will be very large. The angle... and then around us...

it will make distortion.

But Sony is very good at prevent the distortion.

Sony has a very good skill of that...

if we try to record using Sony action camera,

we'll not see any difference in distortion compare to wide lens from DSLR.

But we can see a lot of distortion in Go Pro.

It's still better than the other action cameras, tho.

But if we compare it to Sony, there are still a lot of distortion.

After I did a research about those 3 things, I still...

want to give one vote to Sony.

I will continue to use this.

But there are advantages from Go Pro itself.

First of all we can record while we see our face in the display.

This is very... convenience.

Especially when we dive into the water,

even though there is waterproof inside Go Pro,

it's very comfortable because we still can see our face on the display.

But the disadvantage from this product is

the capacity of the battery is low and

second is we will be obsessed by it.

Sony also has the view screen separately,

but I've sold it. Because

I was too obsessed to it.

I got too obsessed to it,

and because there is no LCD on the Sony action camera,

I have to record it with feeling. But

because of the angle from wide lens is very large,

thus even if you take like this or like that, we still can see everything at the end.

So after I tried not to look at screen...

it became more natural,

and I became more comfortable to record a video without looking at the screen.

It's very good if we use Go Pro when we go snorkeling.

Another advantage from Go Pro is the super view.

It's larger than wide lens.

Moreover when we go outside,

or we go snorkeling, swimming,

we put the Go Pro on the selfie stick and set it to the super view (In Bali, using Go Pro 4 super view)

we can see all at once.

It's too bad that Sony doesn't have superview feature.

I vote for Go Pro for this point.

Even though there is external feature in Go Pro,

it can go until 10 meter under water because it has waterproof in it.

In other ways, Sony only can bear with the rain,

and it needs a waterproof if we want to put it under water.

That is the advantage and about the texture

Go Pro has rubber texture so it is strong enough,

but Sony action camera is covered by plastic.

It had already a lot of scratches.

That's too bad. Ah?!

Plus! There is one more beside the 3 things that I've mentioned before.

It's about the audio.

The very important think in vlogging is about the screen,

but audio is also important thing because our voices need to be clear enough so we can send what we say to the audience.

Thus, the audio is also very important.

Sony has a incredible audio.

Even though I already have an external microphone

and I don't use other microphone,

I use internal microphone in Sony action camera.

Very incredible. (Really)

Maybe it's because Sony has a great skill in audio feature,

I have to say that it's very incredible.

On the contrary, Go Pro...

has microphone in the side of the camera

and has waterproof feature,

it sounds like there something stuck inside the audio.

It sounds mumbling

and not very clear.

(Testing sound quality) We came to this place to ride a horse.

(Feel the difference quality of the sound. I don't put any subtitle here.)

About the internal audio, I want to give one vote for Sony.

Moreover, there is external microphone in Sony.

We can use it comfortably,

but we need an adapter for Go Pro

and it's very uncomfortable,

so for the audio, I think Sony has an incredible feature.

During my trip in Malang,

I've made a video to compare Go Pro 6 and Sony x3000.

I hope this can help you a lot

in choosing one of them.

See you again~ Bye~

Some treatment decisions can be made on the person's behalf by people who are not guardians

but who have legal authority to make decisions such as health care agents named in an activated

health care proxy.

disability.

Puppy Dog Pals Pot O'Pugs Episode 42 - Green Deer - Duration: 18:32.

♥ Like + Comment + 2 shares helps channel!

Oh

Movie Polly holding in stomach, it's not my paw that's your paw is Oh. What is it Bob?

Hey, where's the doggy go oh my computer oh darn?

It's broken, but at least I can look forward to seeing you two when I get home from work

Enjoy your nap hissy

Roly did you hear what he said Bob needs a pot of gold to fix his computer

And we can find one at the end of the rainbow. That's just a legend what is that at the end of every rainbow?

There's a pot of gold

Let's go find the pot of gold at the end of that

It looks like the rain balloons behind that Factory, but we know someone who does oh?

Sure I know that Factory I collect stuff other people throw away

And when this friend of mine found plans for that place in the trash?

See that ditch right there you want to crawl through that to the front door

Then when you're inside the factory you're gonna ride this conveyer belt through the Assembly Room

Stay out of trouble and that pot of gold will be yours don't worry boy worth. Nothing is gonna trip us up

These are the water's getting deeper or my legs being shorter stay down, I'm gonna take a peek and see with our guard audience

Yeah, and there's the front door so come on then next room you would come

Or said this next one was called the wrapping in

These bubbles are wrapped around us so tight we can't walk and we're in the doggy

We did it Roley we did it yeah

I just wish there was more bubble wrap for us to pop cuz I could play with that stuff all day

Well then we're just gonna have to pop all of it

Without gluing pop pop pop pop we'll have to walk between the bubbles

Okay your turn

And now the way in the back we should be able to see huh

The rainbow in the pot of gold well you got you

Dogs other than me aren't allowed back here

Mine too

Your friend of boys I am well. Oh that guy collects stuff

That's being thrown away so when I found the plans for this Factory in the trash. I gave them to him

That gold home for Bob take whatever you want. It's all gonna be thrown out anyway

Hey

I should give something pull worth who saw me into the rainbow and the pot of gold even though there wasn't a pot

But that was nothing the gold

Wait a minute you mean there actually was something there must have fallen out of my computer this morning, but I didn't see it

Haha, it works, but you know what there aren't any dogs. Who are more special than you

There's only one dog who can save us now, but even a super

Don't worry Roley captain dog isn't afraid of flying saucers

You know captain dog always saves the day

I wish I was tapping dog. He's so great. It's a big party for people and pets who love captain dog

Okay captain dog check out all the pet owners here, built this recreation of barks ville

Now for the surprise I was telling you about

There's even a contest for whoever built the best part of the city I

Really, hope I win that Blue Ribbon

Make sure to protect my monorail. Oh, I hope I can win that contest

Did you hear that Roley Bob needs us to protect a super amazing Mallory?

That sounds like a mission you bet it is. Let's just hope nothing out of the ordinary happens while he's gone

Captain

Great route today captain dog you saved us captain dog have you ever thought of running for mayor

I was a brave thing you did captain dog

Great work today captain dog

Bombs monorail is broken and it's all my fault. It's okay captain dog. We'll find a way to fix

The real captain dog may be brave I can fly but rollies and brave and doesn't like flying saucers

I'm not captain dog and he's the bravest brother in the whole world who's always there when I need him

Let's say barks villain

No, I'm play just like bingo said

Well looks like you guys had fun and the monorail still working perfectly

this spectacular

model of the Bark's ville monorail

Congratulations. Did you hear that boys?

Which is why I'm gonna be the first one there on your part

Let me wish to vote take the stick to vow I'll go along with that

Dagger II knows you're looking for someone to throw that stick

I wish I had time, but I'm heading out to buy stuff for the big game. That's on TV

Where else besides is 50 to go to put in this machine Bob said whatever we want

Wait a minute why you guys doing with Bob special baseball Bob special one

You and I play

Okay, Rolly Rolly know our mission is to get Bob's baseball before it

Is on my list

Leave us alone cupcake we're on a mission Yahoo fetch your bombs baseball well

I wouldn't want to get in your way, which is why I'll have Rufus get in your way for me

Okay got some chips in my fruit smoothies for the game just need to make a quick stop

This is got to be the hardest game of fetch we have ever played

This is bad that drain could lead anywhere

If only we knew someone who knew where that drain rings out to Rolly we do

Okay, so if we follow this drain through this pipe up back and around

That baseball you're looking for should be coming out right about

Hello, baseball fans and welcome to teddy peppercorn Dane and now let's give a big welcome to our special guest Teddy

peppercorn

oh

Hey there well looks like you've been having fun with that touch machine

Is that my special baseball I can see why you'd want to play with that it's so Rolly

Well I guess I never turned this thing all the way around before to see that it was there

Thanks for checking my eyes doc

I'll make sure to keep these sunglasses on for the rest of the day

We've been having a little fun with them

So they look cute, well here are your puppies leashes they can walk them home. Oh, we're

And away we go

That's not a shirt, it's a cool rack. I don't think Bob knows because of his blurry eyes

Bob's house is

this way

Well my puppies and I are headed home, so maybe we'll see what we get there

But he's probably gonna do some shopping before he goes home, Oh

Lovely day for a walk. Oh, I'm terribly sorry come on boys we meet again

That was a close one we got to be more careful

The most important part of leading the way right now is to make sure we get Bob home sick, so let's make sure

We back where we started though

Yep

This mission is harder than we thought

I think I'll buy some flowers to take home so I can look at him after my vision clears out

Well this must be the flower store right here

Hi, you looking for anything in particular

Nope, but I'll know it when I smell it

It's a music store Bob thinks he's blind flowers

Do you like that one now those look perfect, I'll take a dozen of those please oh

Look great in a vase

Thank you

This way guys will be home in no time. I just love this store

They sell fresh fruit Sporting Goods and wind chimes

It looks like Bob still can hardly see it. Oh yeah, we better help him out

Huh, maybe the fruits down here oh no I have an idea I

Don't know what kind of fruit this is but it's way too hard to eat

Whoops excuse me oh

That Way's blocked

Hey, this feels just right

My eyes are still a bit blurry. Uh could you point me towards the checkout?

No no it's gonna rain today, I would have brought a hat to keep my head dry

Maybe they sell hats 'dear

Bob they don't sell flowers or hats in there

Huh, I wish I knew the fastest way to walk home from here

That book will be a fast way

Good Bob. Said he wants to walk

Boy the sidewalk got driving. Well. I guess I'm not the only one trying to walk home

Then I can just barely say it, but I'm pretty sure that's my house right there I?

Like your silly hat you know what yeah my two favorite neighbors could have two of these too. I

Guess they do go with the hat, thanks mr. Bob

Good morning my perky little pet
