Holiday Park one of my favorite places on earth I would suggested hey why don't

you make Monday motivational 'he's not some people need it the most

so hey anyways this is just i guess why do people need it the most on a Monday

why is Monday the best day of the week I mean Monday is the worst day of the

week right

yo yo yo CPA strengths here get up off your butt and do something today do

something with yourself just get up and do something stop waiting till tomorrow

don't wait till tomorrow do it today do it now have a busy busiest day do so

much today you don't think you can do it then tonight relax for a little bit just

do something today just do something today get up off your

butt and do something all right just find a passion stop floating

through this life thanks da da stop floating through this life I really

didn't know what this video is gonna be about except to try to motivate to try

to maybe something helped me out some of my hardships what's the stuff that's

going through my head right now is just will put one foot in front of the other

I don't know if everybody saw it but so I was listening to motivational speaking

all like all week long that ain't some gangster rap some trap music I'm not

sure the speaker but it doesn't really matter it cuz like I don't know I don't

spend a lot of time on like discovering who said this thing I just want to give

I just want to put it out in the universe but if you hit it if you hit a

tree with an axe five times just five times a day what's eventually going to

happen yeah that trees gonna fall because the consistency so there let's

just say what if I what am i proud what am i super proud of right now I am super

proud of my CPA license I failed it four times and I passed it four times I

failed the first two but you know what I told myself once they let me to once

they let me sit for the exam because that was a whole bunch of things for me

to I have I have an arrest record I have felonies if I would have asked

buddy hey do you think I can be a CPA cuz I got some misdemeanors I got

felonies I got a juvenile should I've been getting in trouble for 20 years you

think they're gonna let me be the c-pen it's absolutely not you know there's no

way you're gonna be a CPA I didn't fucking ask anybody I didn't ask anybody

I just said I'm gonna fucking do it until they say no and then I'm gonna be

all up in their shit again and say come on Let Me In baby like JD go I'm keep on

knocking on that door so ya know whatever like I just didn't ask nobody

you know like uh it certainly wouldn't have helped to ask when I didn't win

when I didn't even have a frickin accounting degree you know but uh

anyways they'll I mean it was a hard road to be a CPA but I kept on putting

one foot in front of the other one foot in front of the other why would you call

me why would you call me Sunday night at 6 o'clock for business and not call me

all week long that doesn't matter I would pick that up if it was one of my

monthly clients I go above and beyond for my clients and I'm turning clients

away now so you know I don't think no any no one thought it was a good idea

you know how to for me to start my own business how are you gonna find clients

all you shouldn't be doing that you shouldn't be doing that you know when I

would tell them that I'm turning away Ohio you never turn to my client you

never turn away clients it's like no one ever gives me credit for nothing but you

know what I just put one foot in front of the other

let's see consistent one foot in front of the other yeah cuz I was due I was at

my office every morning at 8 o'clock and I didn't leave till 5 o'clock for the

first year every day every phone call I would answer

um I just consistently was there and you know like was i lucky you know like

someone would Facebook message me six o'clock on a Saturday night and I would

respond to him in ten minutes yeah you know like anyways I wanted I was

passionate about it I just went for it you know going to Community College just

really all this stuff what am I really proud proud about my accounting degree

I'm proud about my CPA license I'm proud about my my jucy body right now you know

how jacked AF cuz I've been exercising for five years no just every day I'm

proud that I haven't had a drink alcohol in almost five years yeah that makes me

proud CPA license I'm proud of YouTube channel I'm proud of all these things

that I'm proud of did not come easy they took a long time but think of something

that you're proud of yourself for and if you're not proud of yourself for

anything you can't think of anything just be proud that you're watching my

video in the hopes of trying to do better cuz you're on the right path I

mean um so yeah I want you to get up and do something not wait till the next day

oh what's about floating through life

one of the last times I saw my look why I've seen on when was it uh I saw my I

saw a lawyer and you know you're a piece of sh you know your fuck up when you

like you have a lawyer he should be on retainer but he's not

but like yeah I have his cellphone I mean I have on a first-name basis with a

lawyer uh he was like yo one of the one of the many many times I

was in his office I was like 30 he's like have you floated around in life

long enough yet it's like who you agree with me you're just been floating around

just like I don't like yeah yeah broad he's been floating he's like why don't

you go to school or learn a trade or do something so I just floating by I was

like yeah like said just made a lot of sense I think when was that that's when

I was thirty about a year later I Sai enroll in school but uh does that it uh

yeah just just get started doing some oh so you know I only have one point where

I was just a total fuck-up for all these years and one day everything changed

like it wasn't just gradual I'd say the biggest thing which it didn't at the

time it didn't you know I was just walking into the community college again

but you know I just kept I just kept on going back and then I got my degree from

there uh I applied to get into four-year college like I got enrolled in FAU I

struggled the whole time there I got my degree

you know i-i've crawled III was scraped and crawled just ever ever for

everything I have I've gotten out of the mud and I'm just yeah I'm really proud

of I'm really proud of myself for being able to do that you know no one can take

that away from the home can take any of the things that I've done away from me

no one can take away from me that I'm a hard worker and that's one of the things

that I've I've had I've had old old white men that are like 70 years old

that don't even know there's no I don't even die do you think they had feelings

you know you know them people's are just like do you have feelings

they told me that I've won though that I've won the respect over I'm like what

the fuck I guess it's just cuz I get up and go everyday like and now uh to get

up early like today's Monday morning you might be watching this at 8 o'clock um

I'm at my office if you're watching this 8 o'clock I've got up at 5 o'clock I've

already worked out I've already had my breakfast I've already showered I'm

already sitting in my office I've already answered some emails I'm already

so far up in this week's behind that it's crazy and I've set myself up on

Friday I've did some meal prep I've did some of that you know if there's one

point for this video it's get up off your ass and do something today I don't

care what it is I don't care what you're passionate about just be passionate

about something and do it just don't float through life I floated through

life like the like my lawyer told me for 12 20 year you know I don't know how I

float through life as I float through life my whole life until a couple years

ago and I'm like what the fuck I mean yes I woke up at 31 years old I haven't

done it I didn't do a damn thing but it would make everybody mad at me and look

at an arrest record that was holding me back like so I wasn't passionate about

anything except fuck getting fucked up and I mean I was I'd been suicidal

forever I mean why why does anybody why does

anybody smoke meth or do heroin unless you want to kill yourself I mean

honestly it's a cry for help and that's all I ever wanted to do then

I started having big some big dreams some big goals and I would stop at

nothing get a college degree get a CPA license start my own business

have a hundred thousand subscribers on YouTube be a millionaire I will stop at

nothing gained the respect of a lot of people how am I gonna get respect Pete

by Matt by having massive success gain respect from a lot of people also

one thing that's come to my mind is - it was just come to me recently it doesn't

matter yeah I've gained everybody's respect I don't get a lot of hate

anymore cuz I guess I guess what I'm due done is respectful

I guess I've done I guess I've come out of the other side and I don't really

like to brag about myself brag on myself I have such low self esteem that I've

been suicidal my whole life I think that people are joking when they say they

care about me I think they're being sarcastic or trolling me and so that's

so you know I get up because of the haters the haters I get up for the

haters you know I used to get up for the haters and now it's like I don't really

have the haters anymore and like I don't have all the fucking haters I have a lot

of supporters I have a lot a lot of supporters now but guess what I still

don't like myself so it's like no matter what other people think of you it

doesn't matter if you don't love yourself or like yourself because that's

what I'm noticing like I'm not happy but everyone else and that's really all

fucked up because everyone thinks I should be happy because they cuz cuz

they guess they they say they would love to be in my position but oh you don't

want what's inside of my brain here which I'm trying to fix I'm working very

hard to try to fix I'm listening to motivational speaking all the time

blessed Tony Robbins I feel like I had the first conversation ever with my dad

today at 40 years old like to Tony Robbins uh

and tell tomorrow I love doing this I just hope you get motivated and do

something they just do something don't don't wait til tomorrow start start now

get up and go for a walk start exercising today start eating right get

that job today go kick ass at your job they don't just

take up space at your job kick some ass all right deucey

Dog Sleeps On Streets For 11 Years, Then Wakes From Nap To Find Whole World Changed

For a dog living on the streets, life is tough.

These strays must be agile and street savvy.

One dog managed to survive for over 11 years on his own as a stray on the streets of Los

Angeles, but, as often happens when dogs age, he began to slow down.

This poor pooch became exhausted and ill.

He took refuge on the porch of a stranger's home, curling up to take a nap and hoping

a kind person lived there.

Thankfully, he picked the right house.

The woman who found him didn't banish him.

She took him in and named him Solovino, which in Spanish means, "he who came alone."

Solovino remained at his makeshift home for days.

The woman contacted Rocket Dog Rescue.

Based out of San Francisco, this rescue group takes in animals and re-homes them.

It embraces dogs who would usually be euthanized at regular shelters.

The well-tempered dog was taken to the rescue, treated, and then put into a foster home.

Sadly, his foster placement didn't last long.

Solovino was returned and fostered to different homes for over a year and a half.

When Carol Messina read Solovino's sad story online, she immediately fell in love with

the old boy and decided to adopt him.

A life-long Star Wars fan, she shortened his name to Solo.

Messina anticipated Solo's integration into her home would go well, but the weather-beaten

old dog – used to being on the streets – had difficulty acclimating to life with her.

Shy and apprehensive around humans, Solo had trouble believing that Messina would be able

to give him the happy and safe life he so deserved but had never experienced.

"When he first came to live with me, he kept his tail between his legs for months,"

Messina recalled.

"He was very non-reactive to dogs and people and cats, and flinched anytime anyone tried

to pet him."

It took compassion and loads of patience to help Solo become more comfortable.

The poor dog had unresolved health issues – Messina discovered he had a hearing impairment

that was much worse than everyone initially thought.

She realized that the timidness and jumpiness she had noticed wasn't caused by fear, but

by being startled by people around him out of his range of sight.

Solo also had dental problems that caused him to be lethargic and in constant pain.

Putting off her own planned surgery, Messina paid to have Solo's teeth repaired.

Now he's a much happier and playful dog.

He's even made a best friend in the neighborhood – a dog named Bailey, whom Solo visits often.

Considerate of his severe hearing loss, Messina purchased a vest for Solo that says "Deaf

dog."

This is to let people know to be careful around him.

She also helps Solo in other ways.

When entering a room, she'll flicker the lights so he knows someone is there.

She also intends on moving to a one-level home so Solo won't need to navigate stairs

as he continues to age.

Thanks to Solo, Messina has become inspired to take in other older dogs and give them

a happy life for as long as she can.

Despite all his health problems, she's going to love and care for Solo so he'll have

a life filled with all the joy and pleasure he spent the majority of his life without.

Life Doesn't End at 50: Felicia and Edmundo's Unlikely Love Story Spans a Century - Duration: 12:47.

- [StyleLikeU] First question,

when you first met Edmundo, was it love at first sight?

- Love at first sight,

I don't believe - the word love has been abused, used,

and abused. It's an empty word.

And then last night, I heard Trump tell everybody,

"Love ya, love ya!

Love you!"

So, but sight?

Yes, first time I saw her, there was a party,

and there was a dance, and first time we danced,

I had an erection, so I felt, this is the person.

(laughs)

- [StyleLikeU] How old were you?

- Well I must have been 15 or 16.

- I was 16 when I met Edmundo.

I don't know, no, I don't think it was love at first sight.

It's after we started talking.

He was really good looking guy,

and he was tall, little bit awkward,

he wasn't like one of the smooth guys,

he wasn't a super ladies man, the way he became later.

(laughs) 'Cause I've lived through three

very different cultures, in Germany and in Belgium.

- [StyleLikeU] Why did you leave?

- Well, we left because the Germans had invaded Belgium.

You know, they did things slowly, they got you to register,

then they called you up, and eventually they shipped

you off to a concentration camp.

And we were able to flee,

under great danger,

but anyway, we were able to get to Spain,

and then any country that would have us.

And Cuba would have us, we were very lucky.

- I lived in Cuba in a revolution,

I participated in a revolution where I risked my life.

I was in an airfield,

I was about to be bombed by the United States,

and I was there.

- We packed up to come to New York,

and he said, "Don't go, stay behind."

And I said, "Well what do you mean don't go?

We're 16, what are we going to do?"

- [StyleLikeU] But how was it for you when she left?

- You're distressed, you feel the world is ending,

you miss something.

It's a rupture, it's heart breaking.

I went to my mother, and I

got into bed and started moaning and groaning,

- [StyleLikeU] For how long were you sad?

- No, that doesn't last long when you're young.

(chuckles)

You had a period in between where you had to make yourself,

and that is a period that we missed,

and I think we were lucky.

Because that's a period where there's conflict,

with the children, your profession,

I mean, I went into writing, she went into family.

She had three children, I had three books,

I was established, I wasn't insecure.

That made it possible for the third stage.

And she found out that I was here,

and we got together.

But we are not married, I think marriage is the end of love.

(chuckles)

- He came and visited me, and we spent every day together.

We didn't have any money, but we went to

the Museum of Modern Art, which was free in those days,

and we sat in Central Park,

and even rented a hotel room once.

He left after a month, he had to go back home.

And we corresponded,

and I couldn't wait for his letters,

and then they became less frequent,

and mine became less frequent,

and I got a new boyfriend, and he got a new girlfriend.

I didn't see him for 35 years.

He's been married three times,

- [StyleLikeU] And you've been married how many times?

- Once.

- [StyleLikeU] Over these years, over these three

other marriages, did you think about Felicia often?

Or did you forget about her?

- No. I forgot about her.

- [StyleLikeU] You totally forgot?

- Not totally forget, but you don't yearn for it,

you don't feel that I was missing...

Although I used her in the film.

- 1968 I think it was,

a film based on Edmundo's novel

was screened in New York.

Memories of Underdevelopment became world famous.

There was a scene in the film,

a flashback, about us in New York.

Suddenly I saw myself the way I had been when I was young.

Up on the screen. It was a very

emotional scene.

And it sort of brought everything back for me.

- She called me, she got my phone number in North Hampton,

and she called me.

And then I told her, "Well, I want to see you right away."

And so I went to see her in East Hampton,

and we clicked again, and we got together.

- May I get up for a second and show you something?

I was going through some old photographs,

and I found this photograph of myself when I was 20.

I realized that

this is how I looked at 20,

and I'm wearing pretty much the same outfit,

same type of clothes.

There.

- [Edmundo] When I see her, coming down the street,

let's say a block away,

her silhouette is the same silhouette

that I knew in the 40's.

You saw age only as she got closer and closer,

- Life doesn't end at 50.

It's a time when your children are, you know,

somewhat self sufficient,

and you still have a lot of life ahead of you.

I published my book at 50, I got divorced at 50.

I met Edmundo at 50.

I mean, not all at the same time, but around that time.

He moved to California, but it didn't happen overnight.

I eventually divorced, but he was far away,

and he was married, so,

I just felt that I had to be on my own,

and I lived on my own for close to 10 years,

but we were in touch.

- [StyleLikeU] Was it platonic?

- (sighs) No.

Eventually, Edmundo came back, he divorced,

and we started living together.

That's still the center of my life, is the relationship.

As before, my first marriage and my children

were also the center of my life.

Sometimes I think it shouldn't be that way,

you know, I could get more done.

- [StyleLikeU] What's been the biggest struggle

or insecurity for you within your relationship?

- [Felicia] We really what we struggle with now

is just growing old.

I mean, we're 85 years old.

- We accommodated well,

she in her room, when she reads, I read.

We share our values, our books,

our television programs, and Netflix.

It's more a period of reassessment.

Understanding, age.

Like you want to understand youth.

When you're old, you shouldn't want to recover youth,

you should try to understand

the pitfalls and the problems with age.

As they say, old age is not for sissies.

- You know you get creaky, and you have aches and pains,

and you don't want so many things,

you're not as restless, you're not as dissatisfied

as you might be when you're younger, and

there's a certain pleasure in routine.

Edmundo always jokes about how he looks forward

to breakfast every day.

(laughs)

I haven't gotten that far, but...

- I always think, since I'm a few months older, I'm a man,

I'm going to die first.

I don't worry about the separation, because

I think she perhaps worries more,

because I think I'm going to kick the bucket

long before she does.

I see widows all over, married widows, one downstairs,

The Shapiros, her husband died, and she's bloomed.

(both laugh)

She goes everywhere, her husband used to keep her down,

and she goes to the theater, the movies, she has more money.

- [Felicia] We eat a late lunch everyday.

We don't eat dinner.

We meet around two a clock or so.

And we consume wine.

"Linner" we call it, lunch dinner.

It's like a date really.

- [StyleLikeU] Every day?

- Yeah.

I used to, in fact, dress up for our lunches,

but I don't do that anymore.

(chuckles)

I'm too tired or too old.

I remember I used to put on earrings, and a special dress.

I got this dollar, a gold dollar Edmundo gave me,

when I was 16. It belonged to his mother.

And I kept it all those years.

- [StyleLikeU] It's gorgeous.

- [Felicia] And I still have it.

- [StyleLikeU] Shirt or pants?

- Huh?

- [StyleLikeU] Shirt, can you take your shirt

or your pants?

- I'll take off my shirt.

Okay, here is what I call the

the sculpting,

and the painting of time.

You see, and also...

I love this.

This hammock I have right here.

I enjoy it.

I can't touch a young body,

but this is really extraordinary,

to have this, or to pull your flesh.

I have to find the beauty in the present.

Most people want to live their youth that is gone.

I think it's important to appreciate age,

appreciate my body.

Look at all these wonderful spots I have here.

- [StyleLikeU] When do you think you are

the most beautiful to him?

- I don't know, I can't answer that.

You have to ask him.

I don't know.

- [StyleLikeU] When is he the most beautiful to you?

(laughs)

- He's always beautiful to me.

- [Edmundo] Already I've talked about her character,

personality, her experience.

She has done with age

the most that I think any human being can do.

I appreciate that.

- Okay.

You know, this is the first time I've done this

in public like this,

and I think, at my age, to do something for the first time

is quite extraordinary.

There aren't that many things that you do (mumbles)

- [StyleLikeU] There you go.

Do you believe in fate?

- [Edmundo] No.

I don't believe in fate.

I don't think there is any fate.

- [StyleLikeU] Why?

- I haven't found it in myself,

you think it's fate that I was...

The revolution failed and I had to come

to the United States?

I don't think that's fate.

- [StyleLikeU] Why wouldn't it be fate that the

revolution ended and that you ended up with her here?

- Why would that be fate.

- [StyleLikeU] That would be my version of fate.

- I think it's accident.

It's in the cards.

- [StyleLikeU] Isn't that fate?

- Well, you can call it fate, I call it accident.

(chuckles)

- [Felicia] Do I believe that

you don't have as much control over your life

as you think you do.

I do believe in that.

I wonder, you know, if I lived my life over again,

if I were the same person,

I don't think I would live it all that differently.

I've learned a few things,

but I'm not even sure I would apply what I've learned.

I think I'd make the same mistakes all over again.

In a way, I feel as the whole world is inside of me by now.

- [StyleLikeU] Why is

your life with Edmundo the only place to be.

Like why for you--

- Because we're twins, you see, we're the same age.

We're born in 1930, both of us.

And then we found ourselves, back together.

There's something symmetrically beautiful about it.

- We click together,

we say something and the other person can complete it,

can know what you're talking about.

That's very difficult,

a lot of people talk and nobody understands them.

(mumbles) Not even a portion of it,

the man says "yes, oh yes you're right,"

but doesn't go beyond that.

But I do think that even stating that there are differences

is part of the understanding.

- [StyleLikeU] That was good,

that was the perfect ending.

- Okay.

- [StyleLikeU] Wait no!

Pictures, pictures!

- Pictures!

- [StyleLikeU] Pictures.

- [StyleLikeU] Do you want like a blanket

for a second while--

- [Edmundo] No, no, I don't...

Energy Within Environmental Constraints: Air Pollution -- Indirect Pollutants (HarvardX) - Duration: 1:52.

Now, onto the secondary pollutants.

Ozone is created in the atmosphere.

The full chemical story is extraordinarily complex.

But a simple version involves three precursors-- nitrogen oxide,

carbon monoxide, and volatile organic compounds.

When combined with sunlight, this mixture creates ozone.

These volatile organic compounds can be anything from gasoline

that evaporates from the gas tanks of cars

to isoprenes-- organic compounds released by trees.

Ozone chemistry is surprising.

In general, when one mixes oxidizers and hydrocarbons,

one expects to reduce the amount of oxidizer.

When the origin of ground level ozone-- also known as smog-- around Los Angeles

was first discovered in the 1950s, it was a big surprise

to chemists-- a mixture of oxidizers and hydrocarbons

is being cooked in the atmosphere to produce

ozone and even more powerful oxidizer.

It's worth mentioning that the ozone layer in the stratosphere

is something we want.

It protects the surface of the Earth from UV

that would otherwise sterilize the planet.

On the other hand, ozone in the lower atmosphere

is something we do not want because ozone breaks down

essentially any organic compound it touches--

from the service of your lungs to the plastic parts on your car

or the growing parts of plants.

Stratospheric ozone, good.

Surface ozone, bad.

Controlling ozone is complicated because the amount of ozone produced

depends in a sensitive way on the mixture of the precursors.

In some conditions, cutting NOx emissions

can actually lead do an increase in ozone.

Perhaps because of this complexity, the US

has made only very moderate progress on reducing ozone exposure in cities--

roughly a 20% reduction since 1980.

The Sad Truth About Life On The Millennium Falcon - Duration: 5:22.

The Millennium Falcon is just about the coolest spaceship in sci-fi history.

And it's also an uncomfortable, unreliable, ugly hunk of junk.

Sure, it might feel tempting to hop aboard and live out your days as a devilish rogue

or a heroic starfighter, but you're probably better off keeping your feet on the ground.

Here's a look at why it would pretty much suck to live on the Millennium Falcon.

Moving target

Over the course of the Star Wars films, the Falcon is hunted, tracked, or attacked by

an endless array of villains, and sometimes friends too.

The Empire wants it, the First Order wants it, even Lando wants it back.

About the only person who doesn't want it is Rey — so, naturally, she gets stuck with

it.

The fact is that the Millennium Falcon is the most infamous ship in the galaxy, and

thanks to all of its unique modifications and upgrades, you're never going to be able

to lie low, either.

Every day will be spent looking over your shoulder.

Even Han Solo managed to lose it for years.

And let's face it: you're no Han Solo.

This guy is:

"Solo.

I'm Han Solo.

I'm Han Solo.

I'm Han Solo, Solo, Solo!"

Bucket of bolts

The entire arc of Han and Leia's story in The Empire Strikes Back is how completely

unreliable the Millennium Falcon is, with the ship's hyperdrive apparently being the

most troublesome component.

The main hyperdrive might make it one of the fastest ships in the galaxy, but once that

fails — and it fails three times in Empire, by our count — you're stuck with the backup,

which takes weeks to reach nearby systems.

And if that goes, too?

Well, let's just say you'd better hope someone comes to pick you up before you become worm

food.

It's too cramped

During the course of the films, the Falcon tends to have an average crew of five or six

people, including droids.

According to Disney's official cross-section of the Falcon, she's got a grand total of

two rooms, plus three beds in the original trilogy.

After Return of the Jedi, a fourth bed was apparently added, but that didn't help Han,

Chewie, Luke, and Obi-Wan in A New Hope, when one of them apparently had to sleep on the

couch.

Probably Chewbacca, because he's half couch already.

Gas attack

In The Force Awakens, Rey, Finn, and BB-8 steal the Falcon from Jakku to escape the

First Order.

Before long, however, their lives are put at risk thanks to a severe lack of hyperdrive

maintenance in previous years.

This causes an energy flux in the motivator, which causes a chain reaction that floods

the Falcon with poison gas.

Considering how often the hyperdrive seems to fail, it's just a matter of time before

the ship randomly gasses you to death.

Better have your mask handy!

Unwelcome surprises

If the Star Wars films have taught us anything about the Falcon, it's that she's filled with

countless hatches, hideaways, and holes that are used by its owners to keep illicit cargo

under the radar.

Considering how quickly and easily the ship changes hands, there's simply no way to know

if all of the previous owner's belongings have been removed from the ship.

As a result, you're never going to know if you're unknowingly transporting weapons, human

beings, or even Lego currency.

If you end up on the Flacon, you better just hope you're never pulled over by the space

po-po.

The facilities suck

According to diagrams of the Falcon, the ship's kitchen was added by Han as a wedding present

for General Leia when they married.

That's cool, but it also means that during the original trilogy, there was apparently

no kitchen, so passengers just had to eat a lot of sandwiches or something.

That's probably for the best, though, considering the ship also only has one bathroom, which

is barely bigger than a phone booth and doesn't seem to have room for a shower.

Add in a wookiee, and you can only begin to imagine just how funky the ship must smell

on even the shortest trips.

Gross.

It's boring

Even in those cramped little rooms you're going to find yourself twiddling your thumbs.

Apart from actually flying the ship, the only "fun" thing you can spend your time doing

appears to be the dejarik table in the communal space.

Dejarik, by the way, is a chess-like game which is apparently so utterly tedious to

play that, according to an Easter egg in The Force Awakens, not a single person used the

board over the three or four decades between A New Hope and The Force Awakens.

Other than that, your entertainment options are limited to repairing things and getting

shot by that little floating droid thing Luke practices being a Jedi with.

Awesome.

It's ugly

The Falcon may be fast, strong, and full of surprises, but it's not exactly going to win

any beauty contests.

Even if it was in a good condition, Corellian freighters look like little more than giant

floating satellite dishes.

"What a piece of junk!"

Compare that to the sleek, shiny Naboo Royal Starship, the intimidating grandeur of the

Imperial Star Destroyer, or even the timeless, undeniable awesomeness of the X-wing.

If you've got any sense of style or shame, you're probably going to peer out of the Falcon's

cockpit window at least once, see somebody else's colorful, badass fighter and — just

for one moment — feel a twinge of jealousy surging through you.

And then you'd be spontaneously gassed to death because you got distracted and didn't

fix your ship in time.

Thanks, Millennium Falcon!

Zhiyun Smooth 3 / Unboxing & First Impressions! (4K) - Duration: 2:56.

Hi everyone, Gio here, and welcome to this unboxing & first impressions video of the

Zhiyun Smooth 3.

Right now we're just going to discuss the main features and some test footage, while

we'll go into dive more detail into how everything works in the full review.

The Zhiyun 3 comes in a sturdy aluminum body that looks and feels premium.

It's relatively heavy at 440g, but it comes with a maximum load capacity of 260g, which

includes even phones as big as the Note 8.

On the gimbal you'll find a handful of buttons and ports, including a thumbstick, a 1/4"

screw hole on the bottom, a USB port and a Mode selector.

So far, I've used this gimbal for just a few days but I'm really impressed.

First off, the setup is almost instantaneous.

You simply put the smartphone in, balance the arm if needed, and you're good to go.

The gimbal offers three different modes, Pan Following, Locking and Full Following, which

you can select via the Mode button.

The Lock mode makes the phone stay in a fixed position and stabilizes movement in all direction.

The Pan mode tracks your horizontal movement but locks the roll and tilt, while the Full

Follow mode tracks movement on all three axis.

To further control the movement you can then use the handy thumbstick at the center, which

fortunately comes with a grippy texture for easier control.

I've tried a bit all three of them and so far I'm definitely preferring the Pan and

Follow modes, but that varies of course depending on what you're shooting.

To fully take advantage of all of the buttons however you'll have to use the companion ZY Play

camera app, but you'll have to wait until the full review for more info on that one.

From what I've seen so far though, it seems pretty easy to use, and it adds interesting

features like moving timelapses and object tracking.

The footage I've shot on my OnePlus 5 in these first days looks extremely smooth straight

out of camera.

I definitely need more time to get to know the modes better for optimal results, but

even as a complete beginner I'm pretty happy with what I can do with it.

Also, while I'm definitely not a vlogger, this looks like a great solution for walk-and-talk

type of videos.

So I'm going to wrap it here for these first impressions, but of course don't forget to subscribe not

to miss the full review when it comes out in a couple of weeks.

As always, thank you so much for watching, this was Gio, and I'll catch you guys in the next one!
