Youtube daily report w Nov 13 2017

DEKRA really wants to be a 'green' employer

For me, that's an employer that takes

the environment into account and the health of its employees

We do that by stimulating biking to work

and we also have electric vehicles for our employees

recycling products to

really make a contribution to

minimizing our impact on the environment. Recently we participated in

the Bike 2 Work week. We saw it as a win win situation

to stimulate employees to use their bike to

decrease their impact on the environment

and to improve their own health

to save costs and to reduce the amount of traffic jams

In all aspects it was a real win win situation

with lots of benefits. We received a lot of positive feedback. Many people liked it and many people now try out a free e-bike for a month

and the number

of bike plan participants has also increased. We were already quite active in facilitating and stimulating

in for example our facilities

like our parking space right below the building where

you can charge your e-bike and you can store your stuff

and we have spaces where you can change your clothes and take a shower

and vent your bike gear. The parking space

for the bikes is closer than most of the parking spaces

outside. So below the building you can park your bike

while most of the parking spaces are outside and require you to

take a walk there. So really the lazy people come by bike and

enjoy the nice surroundings here by the river!

Lyrics translated by Changstarr

My life is a battlefield I sometimes envy him

I wanna be an animal

They call me a gladiator But I don't wanna be one anymore

I don't want y'all to be jealous of me Too many fools with a mask on

Sometimes I think to myself Should I pursue music as a hobby

But then if I retired How many would talk behind my back?

I can't stand that I take back all the things I just said

I won't let go of my armor Nobody can handle it anyway

You can't match my weight

You do what's been made for you My career is like an ad lib

My crown is custom made I admit, it's kinda big, I'm big-headed

That's why I got the guts Yes I'm a gladiator

But I also desperately need peace

No matter how strong, one needs some rest to heal

I work everyday 7 days out of 7 days

I'mma go get a drink So I'm going home early tonight

I'm going home x2 Leave all the worries behind

I need some lone time

At last, home, home, home I don't care, home, home, home

I'm going home baby Not responding to text messages

I'm going home

Not anywhere but home

I'm going home

I can't leave rap alone this game needs me

I mean what would y'all have done without me?

I won't say a thing if I wasn't sure My word is my bond

Got an attitude of a badass I'm AOMG's Eazy-E

yeah ain't nobody as selfless as me You can't even name one

That's my both my biggest strength and flaw But I'm still happy

Because when I retire I know I'll be remembered as a legend

Making music and working out is how I rest That's why nobody can compete against me

If i'm ready, i don't have to prepare That's why everybody is eye-ing my test sheet

but its all good and its all right Sometimes it's hard to handle, I get fatigued

But still I know GOD got my soul

I'm a human being too, I get tired I'm on my way home peace

I'm going home x2 Leave all the worries behind

I need some lone time

At last, home, home, home

I don't care, home, home, home

I'm going home baby Not responding to text messages

I'm going home

Not anywhere but home

I'm going home

I just wanna run away Put everything behind, behind

I've been going couselling and talking with friends

In some ways I feel like Wook (JM's stylist) I dress up the beats that I adore with my lyrics

I guess this is all I got I don't even have a hobby

I love making music but I'm also a slave to it Ironic, how ironic

I want to find peace I want to meet more people who can be a plus to my life

But I still live in the CEO's room I didn't even lock the door, but I feel caged in

Someone might sympathize That's the power of music

Although we haven't even seen each other

Yeah you know its beautiful but ugly at the same time

It's really beautiful but it's also painful

I work everyday 7 days out of 7 days

I'mma go get a drink So I'm going home early tonight

15 Difficult Things About Being A Very Intuitive Person - Duration: 5:08.

15 Difficult Things About Being A Very Intuitive Person

1.

It can be hard to tell the difference between an intuitive feeling and just… a feeling.

You know that if you treated every passing feeling like an intuitive nudge, you'd probably

have lost your damn mind by now, so you have to be discerning about what's a 'gut feeling'

and what isn't.

2.

It's hard to convince someone of something just because you 'know,' and harder to

not say "I told you so" when you're right.

There's nothing more frustrating than knowing a 'feeling' isn't a compelling argument,

except after you were right about said 'feeling', and the person you were trying to convince

would have saved themselves some trouble, had they just trusted you a little.

3.

You only want to do what's 'right,' but figuring out what's 'right' is basically

your number 1 life struggle.

You know what it's like to be able to discern what's "right" (most positive, most

helpful, most beneficial, etc.) in any given moment,

and the gratification you get from acting on that inherent knowing.

Unfortunately, this can also leave you susceptible to only wanting to act on what's best, when

figuring that out is sometimes a process of trial and error.

4.

It's hard to play dumb when you know people are being dishonest or disingenuous with you.

And if you're being honest, sometimes it hurts to be able to tell someone finds you

annoying or wishes you weren't around as much.

It's probably the biggest downside of being hyper-sensitive to what's around you, but

also probably saves you from spending time with the wrong people.

5.

You can be very indecisive,

as they say: the clearer the choice, the louder the cry to try and choose otherwise.

6.

We live in a world that values thinking over sensing, yet our subconscious minds are much

more powerful than our conscious ones.

And that's exactly what you're tapping into when you have that "intuitive feeling"

– your subconscious intelligence.

A major reason people doubt themselves is because this typically isn't seen as valid

as conscious choice-making, though we already know the opposite is true.

7.

You rarely realize that not only can you intuit 'truths', but also 'possibilities'

(hence being prone to intense anxiety).

There are usually multiple potential outcomes to any given situation,

and the more you are conscious of one, the more you are conscious of the (less likely,

more unfortunate) others.

8.

Sometimes, it's better not to be hyper-aware of (or sensitive to) everything that's going

on in the world, it's exhausting.

You can start to feel as though the world's problems are your own, and that gets overwhelming

when you realize that you alone cannot solve them.

(Good news, they're not – they only feel that way because that's how you perceive

them.)

9.

You find joy in understanding things, so you're quicker to think about them than you are to

enjoy them.

You sometimes have to remind yourself (or consciously re-teach yourself) to just sit

back and enjoy life.

You're so busy putting the puzzle together, you forget to kick back and check out the

bigger picture, which is pretty great too.

10.

Not everything requires an in-depth emotional analysis.

In fact, some things are best served by leaving them alone.

Figuring out the difference between what is and isn't is a delicate dance that you have

to learn to master.

11.

Your hyper-sensitivity is something you have to protect.

It's really easy for people to take advantage of you and your empathetic capacity (intuitive

people are almost always very empathetic).

12.

You won't let yourself continue doing anything that doesn't feel 'right,' even if that's

the easier (or more logical) choice.

Your life is totally subject to how you feel about it, even though in reality, you would

be better off seeing with a touch of logic and objectivity now and again.

13.

You always find yourself asking people 'what's wrong,' because even the smallest micro-expressions

can read to you as 'off.'

Alongside being hyper-aware of things like this, you have a hard time just letting them

go.

It feels like seeing a burning fire and just walking away.

14.

You feel everything more acutely in general.

You take everything seriously, and seem to feel everything with more intensity than other

people do (for better and for worse).

15.

You take on other people's problems as your own.

You sometimes confuse 'perceiving something being wrong', with it 'being your responsibility

to fix.'

Your challenge is in letting yourself perceive a situation, yet also just letting it be what

it is at the same time.

All in all, that's the 15 difficult things about being a very intuitive person.

Really cool information isn't it!

Drought in Northern Kenya: Millions are facing starvation in Illeret - Duration: 4:29.

Marsabit County, Kenya

Millions are facing starvation

Growing hunger is being caused by months of drought leaving children among the most badly affected

In Marsabit County, more than half of the children are undernourished.

Malteser International is the only non-governmental organization with an office in Illeret.

Long'ura, Beneficiary

"Our life and economy are dependence on animals.

The drought killed almost all our animals,

so we have been searching for water far away and selling it.

If we do not sell any, we sleep hungry and the children are unhealthy."

James Ayolo, Malteser International staff member

"In Illeret, in more recent month, we had the highest percentage of severe malnutrition at 51%.

They were malnourished because they lacked food.

Even the old grandmothers and grandfathers few died because they lacked food."

Saani Arkoi, Beneficiary

"We were facing problems but Malteser helped us with food vouchers.

We use the vouchers to get food from the shops.

The food is not enough because children are many and the old had to be fed."

Hassan Kuso, Trader

"Each voucher is worth 500 Kenya Shillings.

If someone has three vouchers, they can buy food worth 1.500 Kenya Shillings.

They the freedom to use all the vouchers

or can choose to use one voucher today

and then after two or three weeks use the rest.

As businessmen our biggest challenge is transporting food from market

up to here because of the road.

We don't have a road!

From Nakuru Town up to here, a lorry takes up to 5 days."

Plumpynuts is a supplement for several malnourished children,

that has all the nutrient requirement that a child needs.

Malteser took the initiative and gave a buffer stock to the health facilities

and is also monitoring the outreaches.

We go out and distribute the Plumpynuts and we also try to see the difference.

"The community here depends on goats, cows and other livestock.

There is no area reserved by the government

where these animals can graze during the dry seasons

and then come back here when it is raining.

Malteser International is supporting various programs in Illeret

and one of them is a Livestock program.

Under the livestock program we have we been having a program of destocking.

Destocking is a process of reducing the number of livestock, that is in the area.

Instead of loosing all the livestock that they had,

they could bring them for slaughtering

and remain with a number that they can handle

instead of handling with a lot of livestock,

that does not have water and pasture.

In exchange, the people that bring goats are given food vouchers.

They exchange the food vouchers

with food from the vendors.

The meat is distributed to families affected by the drought.

When the children get some food,

their development is improved

and they are able to go to school,

giving them a chance to have a better future.

AWESOME ILLUSTRATOR CC TIPS 2017 | Satori Graphics - Duration: 10:10.

today here at Satori graphics I have six awesome illustrator CC tips for 2017 you

can skip the intro if you moved to the timestamp in the corner what is up

people welcome back to Satori graphics the home of graphic design content right

here on YouTube I hope you had a great weekend and you're ready for some

awesome illustrator CC tips today let me know which tip you think is the most

useful in today's tutorial and at the very end of the video I have a quick

workflow tip that I'm now going to add at the end of all of my videos all of

these illustrator CC tips are time stamped in the description below this

video global colours is a great addition to

illustrator software and it allows you to edit the same color throughout an

entire design with ease here's how it works

you will first want to open up your swatch window let's say intend to make a

vector design in illustrator CC with these colors I simply need to select all

of them like so and then add a new color group here make sure to select a global

color option and press ok you'll notice his white symbol in the bottom right

corner of the box this tells you that now is in fact a global color if I

quickly duplicate the pink circle here you will see when I double click the

pink swatch an editor all of the circles will change accordingly make sure to

click the preview option so let's review that quickly one more time

if you ever design that crudely created and you can double click the swatch

after making the global color and then edit it as you see fit with the preview

option selected

this next awesome illustrator cc tip is about the live round cornice technique

this will save you time and allow you more pinpointed scope for manipulation

on the corners by design so if I select the shape with a selection tool and then

I take the direct selection tool the shock of being a on your keyboard in

illustrator CC you will see these white dots appear

you can then click and drag to edit the shape in the corners

if you click a point once and then click again you can then edit that point

independently of all of the others

clicking just one so edit all of them in unison this can also be used on

typography but we need to convert the text into an actual vector shape first

to create the outline to be a text and then you can use the rect selection tool

to edit the life corners

until you in group the lettering you only gonna be up to edit corners in

unison of all the letters but once you do and group everything you can focus in

on one letter

so as you can see here I can edit the a on its own by the like corners

this next tip for Illustrator cc in 2017 is really really neat. if you have a

shape with three tax options upon it all of which are in groups and independent

of one another in case you're wondering what font I'm using here is the ID

as you can see the text is totally independent on the shape but we can warp

everything together at once select everything and then grouped

object envelope to store and then make with warp

in the new window that pops open we have a large amount of choice as it means to

edit manipulate objects and type at the very same time so have a play around and

experiment with it and see what you can make to demonstrate its awesome

illustrators here I made a very quick and crude design for you guys

I'm sure if you will have a play around with the step technique you would be

able to come up with some very interesting funky designs

I've told you guys before by pressing the tab key on your keyboard to remove

panels in this traitor on your screen so you can view your artwork

but if you press command air for control F on a PC you will gain a better view

but then if you press it again you're gonna have the most clearest view

possible by going a full-screen mode in Illustrator

it allows you to see your work from a fire in a very clean manner much like an

artist will step back from the easel to admire their work so you press it one

more time to return back to normal

v illustrator CC tip in today's video is command or control D this lets you

repeat a process over over again to save time so let me demonstrate I'm going to

make a star shape that I will place on the black stroke of this circle

I continue to irritate to and duplicate it to the right by 36 degrees

if I want to do this around the entire circle it's gonna take a long time but

once I've duplicated at once I can press command-d over and over to repeat the

previous process you should be able to see how this will save you a bunch of

time in your graphic design workflow in illustrator CC

the last awesome illustrator CT tip today is the width tool this tool allows

you to change the way of a stroke anywhere on the line with a great detail

and accuracy

so select your line and grab the whisk tool you will see this + icon over the

width tool and you can then click and drag to change the thickness of the line

this is great for vector illustration defect artwork

for today's bonus craftiness I'm a pro tip I'm simply going to remind you guys

to start saving your work on a regular basis I would suggest saving your work

at least once every 30 to 60 minutes in Illustrator but to save multiple copies

instead of overwriting the same file in case you make a mistake

also I'd like to say my work in two locations so one on my Mac and then also

on an external hard drive and keep your work orderly in folders

so there was my list of six awesome illustrator CC tips for 2017 I hope you

find this video useful and that you've learned at least one thing today I would

like to remind all of my subscribers to turn on you notifications by clicking

the bell icon on my channel homepage so you never miss an upload if you did find

today's video useful drop a like and a comment on your way out

and subscribe for weekly graphic design uploads here at cetera graphics

until next time design your future today peace

What's the Truth About the First Thanksgiving? - Duration: 5:59.

Food, football, and…oppression.

That's what Thanksgiving has come to mean to many Americans.

Back in 2007, Seattle public school officials made national news by describing the holiday

as a "time of mourning" and a "bitter reminder of 500 years of betrayal."

This new narrative describes the Pilgrims as arrogant oppressors who fled persecution

only to become persecutors themselves, depriving Native Americans of their land and their lives.

But this is wrong on every count.

First of all, the Pilgrims didn't cross the ocean to flee persecution—or even England.

They'd been living for over a decade in Holland, Europe's most tolerant nation,

and a haven for religious dissenters.

Free from interference by the Church of England, they feared seduction—not persecution, worrying

that their children would be corrupted by the materialistic Dutch culture.

That's why they risked their dangerous 1620 voyage to a wilderness continent: not because

they were running from oppression, but because they were running toward holiness—fulfilling

a fateful mission to build an ideal Christian commonwealth.

They initially planned to plant this model society on the wild, wolf-infested island

known to natives as Manhattan, but winds and tides blew them 250 miles off course,

dumping the Mayflower on the frozen coast of Massachusetts.

Somehow, the Pilgrims saw their dire situation as a demonstration of providential power—especially

after a giant wave picked up the flimsy boat of a scouting party on a stormy December night.

The turbulent sea then deposited them safely—miraculously—on a little island within sight of the ideal

location for their settlement.

It was a deserted Indian village with cleared land, stored supplies of corn, and a reliable

source of fresh water.

No, these supposedly cruel conquerors never actually invaded that village.

Instead, they expressed a fervent desire to pay the natives for the dried corn they found,

if only they could find someone to pay.

But the former inhabitants had perished during three years of plague—probably smallpox—

that immediately preceded the Pilgrims' arrival.

One of the few survivors of that devastation turned up several months later to welcome

the English newcomers.

Against all odds, he proved to be the single human being on the continent best-suited to

help the struggling settlers, since he spoke English and had already embraced Christianity.

His name was Squanto, and he had grown up in this very village before a ruthless sea

captain kidnapped him as a boy and sold him into slavery in Spain.

After four years, he was freed by kindly monks, then made his way to England, and finally

sailed across the Atlantic—only to find his friends and family all wiped out by disease.

Over the next few months, Squanto helped the English newcomers plant crops and negotiate

a friendly trade agreement with the region's most important chief—Massasoit.

No wonder Pilgrim leader William Bradford called Squanto "a special instrument sent

of God for their good."

The celebration later known as "The First Thanksgiving," actually involved a three-day

harvest festival in October, apparently inspired by the Biblical holiday of Sukkot,

or The Feast of Tabernacles.

Ninety hungry Indian warriors joined the 53 surviving Pilgrims for this occasion

(nearly half the colonists had died during the brutal winter).

The Englishmen provided some vegetables, fish, and perhaps wild turkeys, while the natives

brought five recently hunted deer as house gifts.

The preferred sport on this occasion wasn't football, but shooting, with settlers and

Indians sharing a fierce fascination with guns.

Though these hardy Pilgrims loom large in the American imagination, they never built

their Plymouth settlement into a major colony.

In nearby Boston, the later colony of Massachusetts Bay grew so much faster that it swallowed

up the great-grandchildren of the Pilgrims in 1691.

But the sense of purpose of the original Pilgrims left a permanent imprint on the national character.

They maintained unshakable confidence that God protected them—not to grant special

privileges, but to impose special responsibilities.

They saw themselves as instruments, not authors, of a mysterious master plan.

Today, with our continued blessings so obvious and so overwhelming, the only reason to treat

this beloved national holiday as "a time of mourning" is that some foolish Americans

actually think that's a good idea.

The Pilgrims knew better: they understood that people of every culture and every era

can gain more from gratitude than from guilt.

I'm Michael Medved for Prager University.

iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus Future gloomy!!😮😮 - Duration: 2:40.

iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus Future gloomy!!

KGI: iPhone 8 demand lower than expected, but iPhone X going strong

Often

reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI has released another note to investors today,

attempting to predict the performance of Apples new smartphone trio during the key holiday

quarter and at the start of 2018.

Kuo estimates that the iPhone X will sell between 22 and 24 million units in the last

quarter of the year and will maintain its strong performance in the early months of

2018.

The flagships production is expected to grow 35% to 45% over the next quarter as supply

shortages finally ease off.

Meanwhile, people will allegedly come to realize that their concerns about the major UI overhaul

caused by the dropping of the home button were unfounded.

Something we arent completely sure about, having completed our review of the iPhone

X.

As for the other two new iPhones the iPhone 8 demand is expected to remain lower than

expectations and Apple will reduce its production by more than half in Q1 of 2018.

The iPhone 8 Plus, on the other hand, slightly exceeds predictions, as it remains the solitary

option for those wanting a large screen iPhone.

Still, Kuo predicts that Apple and its manufacturing partner Hon Hai will switch some of the iPhone

8 Plus manufacturing lines to produce iPhone X to help boost production.

That should enable 25 to 27 million units of the anniversary iPhone to reach the market

before the end of the year.
