Hey guys! Today I brought to you this makeup inspired in HaSeul's from her solo "Let me in"
I already did my base!
I mixed these two shades to have the perfect one for my skin
Under the foundation, I used this liquid highlighter on the high points of my face, to give my face a natural glow
Like the tip of the nose, forehead, cheekbones, cupid's bow...
For my brows, I used this pencil that matches my hair color
And this is the concealer I will be using to prime my lids
I'm just applying all over the lid and cleaning the bottom part of my brow to make it really straight
And with this flat top concealer brush, I blend everything nicely
Normally I don't do this, but since this makeup doesn't use a lot of eyeshadow, I will set the concealer with powder
Now, with this angled blending brush, I will apply some brown in the lower half of my lid
Kind of creating a soft wing, but not too high
To make it really soft, I blend with a fluffy blending brush
To create a base for the eyeliner, I take a pencil brush and apply a darker brown really close to the lashline
Time for the most difficult part!
This liquid liner has a very thin brush, and that's the secret to achieve the thinest line
Mascara!
Don't be afraid to apply lots of coats for this look, you wanna have, literally, millions of lashes...
Just be sure that it doesn't look clumpy
Now we have the keypoint to this makeup
HaSeul doesn't wear any product under the eyes, there's no eyeshadow, no mascara in the bottom lashes...
So, we're keeping it
I will just conceal my under eyes to make it really clean
And bake a little with this powder
Wait a few minutes and then remove the excess powder
Using these individual lashes, I will recreate her eye look
Using tweezers, of course
Look how tiny!!!
Be patient and... apply one by one
Done!
To balance the upper and lower lashline, I will not use lashes with a full band
These lashes I cut in half and applied just in the outer corners
Moving on to the face... I take this blush and apply just a little
And highlight my face using the white highlighter from this palette
To finish this look, I use only lipgloss
And you can use a clear one if your lips are naturally rosy, but the only one I had is already in a pink shade
Makeup completed!
Thank you so much for watching!

[Pocoyo main theme]
Pato!
[flapping]
Elly!
Loula!
[howling]
Sleepy Bird!
[all shout] Pocoyo!
[male narrator] Hmm, I wonder where Pocoyo could be.
There he is, flying in the vamoosh.
Hello, Pocoyo.
Hi.
Hello.
[narrator] I wonder what Pocoyo's doing now.
Oh, it looks like Pocoyo wants to show us something.
What is it, Pocoyo?
[narrator laughs] What's that, then?
Do any of you know what that is?
[children] It's a tent!
A tent.
[narrator] Yes, you can sleep outside in a tent.
[Pocoyo laughs]
That's called camping.
Are we going camping, Pocoyo?
Wonderful. I just love camping.
Well, isn't this exciting,
but, uh, is anyone else going with us?
Quack! Quack!
[narrator] I know who that is.
Pato's coming camping too.
Great, and have you got any luggage, Pato?
Do you really think we need that?
[upbeat jazzy vibraphone music]
Quack. Quack.
[narrator] A bath brush, Pato?
Really, I don't think they'll be a bathtub where we're going.
Oh, dear.
When will I learn?
So dare I say it?
Is that all, Pato?
All right.
Oh! I just realized:
we've got all of this stuff in the vamoosh,
and we haven't packed anything to eat yet.
[wheels squeaking]
Oh, my.
Well, now perhaps we can go.
[loud thumping]
- [trumpeting] - [laughing]
[narrator] Hello there, Elly.
[laughing]
[narrator] What are you planning to bring on the trip, Elly?
[zipper unzipping]
That's it? Just your Teddy?
Oh, that's good news.
I think we're ready.
Put your Teddy on board, Elly,
and let's go.
[engine grinding]
I'm afraid we might have put too much into the vamoosh.
I think it weighs too much for it to take off.
Pocoyo, Pato, what do you think
we should do to get the vamoosh flying again?
Can any of you help these unhappy campers?
The vamoosh is too heavy to fly.
What can they do to get the vamoosh to take off?
[children] Take something out! Leave something behind.
[narrator] Oh, that's a good idea.
Pocoyo thinks it would be good if you left your bathtub behind.
And, Pocoyo, maybe you could leave the fridge.
Now, now, everyone, I'm afraid you're all
going to need to leave some things behind.
Just look at Elly.
Leaving her one and only thing behind.
She knows that this camping trip is really about
all of us spending time together.
[rattling]
Give it a try.
[engine grinding]
Oh, dear.
Pocoyo, don't you think you could leave something?
Now, that's more like it.
[engine revving]
And look at that: success!
It's flying!
We did it.
The vamoosh is...
...leaving.
Well, we did get the vamoosh off the ground at least,
but it appears to have gone camping without us.
You know, Pocoyo,
you may not be able to go far away
on your camping trip now that the vamoosh has gone,
but maybe you don't need to.
You have your friends with you...
- [trumpeting] - ...and all your things.
[Pocoyo] Camping.
[laughing]
[narrator] Well, look at that.
It seems that it's sometimes just as pleasant
to stay camping as it is to go camping,
as long as you have everything you need:
your friends.
Hooray for Pocoyo!
See you soon.
[Pocoyo main theme]
Pato!
[flapping]
Elly!
Loula!
[howling]
Sleepy Bird!
[all shout] Pocoyo!
[male narrator] Aww, there's our friend, Pocoyo.
Hello, Pocoyo.
Hi.
[narrator] What are you up to today?
Pocoyo play.
[narrator] Perfect. Yes, of course.
There's nothing more lovely than playing.
Well, who are you going to play with, Pocoyo?
Friends.
[narrator] There doesn't seem to be anyone around right now.
Friends?
Friends!
[echoing] Friends.
[narrator] My Word.
Do you know what that is, Pocoyo?
Friends?
[echoing] Friends?
Hello?
[echoing] Hello?
[laughing]
[narrator] It looks like you've found a friend to play with.
But who do you think it is, Pocoyo?
Pato.
[narrator] Pato?
But, um, uh, Pocoyo...
Pato.
- [echoing] Pato. - Quack!
Pato.
- [echoing] Pato. - Quack!
Pato.
[echoing] Pato.
Pato.
[echoing] Pato.
Quack!
Pato.
[echoing] Pato.
- Pato. - [echoing] Pato.
- Pato. - [echoing] Pato.
[narrator] What do all of you think?
Can you help Pocoyo?
Is it Pato who's repeating what Pocoyo says?
[children] No! It's not Pato.
[narrator] Well, it certainly isn't Pato, Pocoyo.
Who can it be that's making that noise?
Elly!
[narrator] Sorry about that, Pato.
Isn't Elly wonderful on her scooter?
Elly!
[echoing] Elly!
Elly.
[echoing] Elly.
[narrator] Not Elly, either, eh, Pocoyo?
I wonder who your friend could be.
Friend?
[echoing] Friend?
[narrator] Oh, Elly, it's just that...
Friend?
[narrator] Well, Pocoyo wants to find out who keeps shouting back.
Do you know?
[sad trumpeting]
Hello?
[echoing] Hello?
[echoing] Hello?
[narrator] Um, Pocoyo...
Shh.
[echoing] Shh.
Who are you?
[echoing] Who are you?
Pocoyo.
[echoing] Pocoyo. Pocoyo.
Yes.
[echoing] Yes. Yes.
Who are you?
[echoing] Who are you?
[echoing] Who are you?
[echoing] Who are you?
[narrator] Now, Pocoyo,
would you like some help finding out whose voice that is?
All right.
Can you call out again?
Hello!
[echoing] Hello!
Pocoyo.
[echoing] Pocoyo.
[narrator] Hmm.
Can any of you tell Pocoyo
whose voice that is?
[children] It's Pocoyo's voice!
Pocoyo?
[narrator] That's right. It is Pocoyo's voice.
Sometimes in certain places,
your voice bounces back to you,
and you get to hear it again.
It's called an echo.
- Echo? - [narrator] Yes, that's right.
Try it again.
Echo!
[echoing] Echo!
[narrator] Yes, an echo is an amazing thing,
and it can be lots and lots of fun to play with.
Pocoyo!
[echoing] Pocoyo!
[giggling]
Wheeeeee.
[echoing] Wheeeeee.
[laughing]
[laughing]
La-la-la, la-la-la.
[echoing] La-la-la, la-la-la.
[laughing]
[horn blaring]
[echo of horn blaring]
[race car engine revving and tires screeching]
[echo of race car engine and tires]
[horn honking]
[echo of horn honking]
[narrator] Well, it looks like Pocoyo found a friend
to play with today after all.
Hooray for Pocoyo,
and, well, for Pocoyo!
See you soon!
- [echoing] See you soon! - [Pocoyo laughs]
[Pocoyo main theme]
Pato!
[flapping]
Elly!
Loula!
[howling]
Sleepy Bird!
[all shout] Pocoyo!
[male narrator] Oh, look, it's Pocoyo and Pato.
- Hello, Pocoyo. - Hello.
[narrator] What a lovely morning and what fine balloons.
Where are you two off to?
[squeaks]
Elly.
[narrator] Ah, I see.
You're off to show your balloons to Elly.
What fun.
Elly.
Elly?
[narrator] Oh, dear.
Can anyone tell Pocoyo why Elly isn't answering?
[children] She's asleep. Elly's sleeping.
[narrator] That's right, Pocoyo.
It looks like Elly is taking a nap.
That's a wonderful idea, Pocoyo.
What a nice surprise for her when she wakes up.
[snoring]
Oh, no!
It's the balloons!
Oh, no. Elly, come back.
[whistling]
- Quack. - [whistling]
[horn honking]
[narrator] The vamoosh, of course.
Good idea, Pocoyo.
But where has Elly got to?
[Pocoyo] Elly.
[Pato quacks]
[narrator] Oh, no! The balloons!
- [Elly snores] - [Pocoyo] Elly!
[narrator] Oh, that was close.
Yes, that's it.
Oh, do hurry.
Oh, please hurry.
Hurry there.
Quick, quick.
Don't let her fall.
[quick music]
Got a plan, have you, Pato?
[twinkling]
[boing]
[trumpet fanfare and applause]
[narrator] Yes, good work, Pato.
But, oh, what now?
Look where Elly's heading.
I don't think Pocoyo and Pato understand.
Wait.
Can any of you tell them what Elly is heading for?
[children] The tree! She's going to hit the tree.
[narrator] Um, Sleepy Bird?
Sleepy Bird!
Um, perhaps it would be best if you left your nest
just for a moment.
You see, there's a rather large pink elephant
riding on a skateboard heading this way.
Oh. She's almost here.
[snoring]
[trumpeting loudly]
[ticking sound]
[narrator] Um, I think Elly wants to know
why you let her sleep so long.
[bonk]
All right, then.
I suppose I should explain, Elly.
First, you floated up in the sky.
And then you parachuted down to Earth,
and then you nearly fell, but you landed on a skateboard,
and then--
- Oh, well. - [snoring]
At least you had a nice sleep, Elly.
And we had a great adventure.
[whispering] Hooray for Pocoyo. Bye-bye. See you soon.
[Pocoyo main theme]
Pato!
[flapping]
Elly!
Loula!
[howling]
Sleepy Bird!
[all shout] Pocoyo!
[male narrator] Hello, Pocoyo.
Oh, I say...
Yes, what or who is that?
Can any of you tell Pocoyo who it is?
[children] It's Elly.
[laughing]
[narrator] But what is she doing?
Wow, look at that.
I do believe Elly is playing a round of golf.
[laughing]
[narrator] Now, Pocoyo, just hold your horses.
Elly is going to show you how to play.
Pocoyo play.
Pocoyo play.
Play, play, play, play!
Play!
Yay, yay, yay, yay!
Yay, yay, yay!
Yay!
[narrator] Pocoyo, why don't you watch carefully
and see how Elly does it?
[trumpeting]
Oh, Pocoyo.
Pocoyo knows.
[narrator] Really, Pocoyo?
However are you going to learn how to play golf
now that Elly's gone?
[feet pattering]
Whoops-a-daisy.
Pocoyo knows.
- [narrator laughs] - [Pocoyo laughs]
[narrator] It's not so easy after all, is it?
[laughing]
No!
Pocoyo knows.
[narrator] Hm, still not working, eh?
A trumpet?
[trumpet fanfare]
[blowing trumpet]
If you asked Elly, I'm sure she'd--
Oh.
A watering can?
Oh, dear, Elly.
Pocoyo really does need your help.
[trumpeting]
Oh, you've had another idea.
Pocoyo knows.
[quacking]
[narrator] Would you like to learn how to play golf, Pocoyo?
Well, I think there is someone who could help you.
In fact, she offered to show you before.
Do you know who I mean, Pocoyo?
Elly?
Show Pocoyo?
[trumpeting]
Yay!
[narrator] Now, watch carefully, Pocoyo.
See how Elly does it.
Well...
I think you're ready to have a go, then.
Wait, Pocoyo.
Oh, dear.
Can any of you tell Pocoyo what he's doing wrong?
[children] It's upside down!
[drum roll]
- [narrator] Yes, you did it, Pocoyo. - Yay, yay!
[conk]
[thud]
[boing]
[boing]
[clank]
Yay, yay, yay, yay!
Yay, yay, yay!
[narrator] What a hit it was! Hooray for Pocoyo,
and hooray for watching and learning.
Bye-bye! See you soon.

After a Decade, the Truth About Barack Obama Goes Public!! - Duration: 2:56.
After a Decade, the Truth About Barack Obama Goes Public!!
Barack Obama is undoubtedly in full panic mode right now after new documents came out
that expose how he colluded with the FBI and CIA to take Donald Trump down.
Fox News reported that newly released text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok
and Lisa Page indicate that there was a coordination between high-ranking officials at the Obama
White House, CIA, FBI, Justice Department and former Senate Democratic leadership in
the early phases of the investigation into alleged collusion between the Trump campaign
and Russia.
GOP congressional investigators say that this new information "strongly" suggests collusion
between former President Barack Obama's Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, then-Senate
Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan.
The investigators added that this directly contradicts Obama administration's public
stance about its hand in the process.
On August 2, 2016, Strzok texted Page, "Make sure you can lawfully protect what you sign.
Just thinking about congress, foia, etc.
You probably know better than me."
The next day, Strzok wrote another text to Page talking about how former FBI Deputy Director
Andrew McCabe was concerned with "information control" related to the initial investigation
into the Trump campaign.
Days later, Strzok again texted Page, "Internal joint cyber cd intel piece for D, scenesetter
for McDonough brief, Trainor [head of FBI cyber division] directed all cyber info be
pulled.
I'd let Bill and Jim hammer it out first, though it would be best for D to have it before
the Wed WH session."
The GOP investigators explained that in these text messages, "D" referred to FBI Director
James Comey, and "McDonough" referred to Chief of Staff Denis McDonough.
"We are not making conclusions.
What we are saying is that the timeline is concerning enough to warrant the appointment
of an independent investigator to look at whether or not the Obama White House was involved
[in the Trump-Russia investigation]," a GOP congressional source said.
The GOP investigators also said that the CIA and FBI are supposed to be "independent
agencies," and noted that "coordination between political actors at the White House
and investigators would be inappropriate," raising questions about the level of involvement
of Obama White House officials.
Clearly, an investigation must be launched into the criminal lengths Obama went to in
the hopes of taking Trump down.
what do you think about this?

Could Citizens United Force Candidates To Accept Corporate Money? - Duration: 2:55.
Next question we have here from Twitter comes from @P_McEnroe who asks, "Do you think it's
possible given the #CitizensUnitedRuling that politicians who don't accept corporate PAC
money could be forced to do so, on the grounds that not doing so violates Freedom of Speech?"
Yeah, actually.
That is a phenomenal point and it's absolutely plausible that could happen.
If corporations say that their money is free speech and a politician or wanna be politician
running for office says, "I will not accept your money."
That could be seen as a violation of free speech, and that's terrifying to think about.
What's also terrifying to think about is the fact that when you hear a story about a politician
who's not taking any corporate money it makes headlines.
That's how rare it is in this country today.
I mean, that's sad.
That's pathetic.
I remember, again, when we first started this 14 years ago doing stories about these corporations
donating money to politicians and at the time, it was, "Oh my God.
They gave this guy $5,000."
Well, now they're giving them hundreds of thousands of dollars through these super PACs
and you can see the result in this legislation.
But my question and this is what an attorney who if this ever goes in front of the court
again needs to argue is that how can money be free speech when it's not universally guaranteed?
You can't guarantee a right unless everybody has access to it.
So if money is speech, then everybody should be entitled to money, right?
That kind of goes together.
I don't know why that argument wasn't made in the first Citizens United ruling, but it
needs to be made now because if a corporation can give $100,000 to a politic campaign through
a super PAC, yet a guy like me can only afford to send a $10 donation, that's not equal.
That's not us having the same size microphone here.
That's them having one thousand times the amount of free speech that I have.
There is nothing fair about the system under Citizens United and I feel like those arguing
against it when it went in front of the Supreme Court screwed us over royally because this
seems like it would've been a pretty easy issue to nail to the ground if only a competent
attorney had been there arguing against money being considered
free speech.

Woodturning An Offset Slat Bowl - Round 2 - Not This Way! - Duration: 8:29.
Hi, Alan Stratton from As Wood Turns (www.AsWoodTurns.com) A short time ago, I made this offset slat
bowl. It was an interesting experience. One that I do not want to repeat. However, I do
like the design. I do like the style. And, I wanted to make a bigger bowl. But, I thought
there had to be a better way. Because, in this one I clamped the slats together and
then glue to a top waste block and a bottom waste block. The problem was these were too
loose and tended to come apart. At the most inopportune time.
So, I decided there had to be a better way. I had to experiment and find out, to figure
out how to do it. This time with double stick tape between the slats. That is the key difference
between the bowls. But, as you'll see in this video, that worked too well. The slats
were terribly hard to get apart. So, while this bowl is of the same style, and worked
out quite nice, there are signs of damage on the bowl that I'd prefer to avoid.
So, there must still be a better way. I hope to explore and find out what that way is.
Meanwhile, I'll show you how not to make another offset slat bowl.
To start, I milled out the slats similar to last time just a little bit wider and longer
since I want a slightly larger bowl this time. Last time, the slats seemed to be too loose.
This time, I am using double stick tape between each slat. Then gluing a sanded piece of OSB
to the top of all the slats. For the bottom, I'm gluing another piece of OSB. However,
I am using a paper joint this time to be sure it comes apart when I need it to. Then let
the glue cure thoroughly. Now the glue has dried, I'm pressing the
block to a faceplate so I can mark the perimeter before a quick trip to the bandsaw.
Now, I can mount my block to a faceplate with double stick tape.
Now, I'm carefully rounding off the block. Then for safety sake, I'm adding a band
clamp around the lip in case the double stick tape does not hold.
Then on to actually forming the exterior of the bowl. This block is larger than last time
so I want to try more of a brim where the band clamp is. Since the edges of the pieces
are not glued together, they tend to splinter more. Shear scraping with my gouge cleans
up the cut. Actually, a small piece of the outer slat
does break and fly off. I've cut away the portion that had the double stick tape. I
have to remove the band clamp, apply tape to the next slat before putting the upper
portion of the slat back in place. I did not try to put the other part of the slat in.
I figure I can cut it away with the exterior shaping.
When the shape is acceptable, I'll sand the exterior starting with 80 grit to refine
the shape since I had too much splintering. Since the wood is different densities, I'll
keep the lathe speed fast. The speed makes for hot hands while sanding.
With sanding complete, I'm applying lacquer for a finish now. This will at least seal
the edges for when I glue up. Before I take it apart, I'm cleaning up
the bottom. I need a good flat to help the glue up.
Now to take it apart. Now I quickly regret using the double stick tape. Except for the
one slat where the tape was cut away, the slats are very stubborn. The OSB has no problem
separating at the paper joint. But the slats with double stick tape are hanging on very
tight. I'm trying everything I can to separate them. So much for the double stick tape idea.
Yes it holds but No it holds on too strongly. Sounds like paper joints are the way to go.
Now to reassemble and glue all those slats together. Last time, I was worried about missing
up the order. This time, after eyeballing the shape, I'm using masking tape to mark
the order and position. Then glue them together with white glue and cleaning up the exposed
offset. There's why I would glue not this all at once.
Now to assure a good hold, I'm gluing the blank to a wood faceplate. I'll let the
glue harden at least over night. Now that the wood is safely and securely glued
together, hollowing is a lot like any other bowl with several major exceptions. First,
the rim is not solid. For safety sake, I cannot let my hands go beyond the tool rest. I imagine
the jagged edge hitting my hands and I definitely do not want that to happen.
Another is that as I turn, I have to leave the bowl sides thicker at least visually because
as the wood rotates, it appears thicker than it really is. I have to stop the lathe to
be sure of the wall thickness. Also, since the rim is not solid, it can easily
splinter. I have to take very light cuts and feel my way to the outer edge. I tend to let
the edge hit my gouge as I move away from center. Once it stops hitting, I'm at the
outer edge and I can rotate the gouge to start a light cut.
I'm finishing up with a large bowl scraper. I sanded this bowl at high speed to try to
minimize oversanding the softer walnut. Then applied lacquer to the interior.
Then carefully part off the bowl through the pine surface of the faceplate. I relieve the
cut in the pine, then carefully cut a slight hollow into the bowl's wood. I'm counting
on the pine to shear off. I stop a couple of times to test before the bowl breaks off
the faceplate through the last about ¾ inch of pine.
Then mount a sanding pad in the headstock and sand off the remaining nub and make the
bottom slightly concave. I'm signing the bowl with my pyrography
setup with a ball tip. I always sand a bit more after burning to remove scorch marks.
Then I'm taking some time with fine sandpaper to relieve any sharp edges on the slats.
Now for the final coat of lacquer before buffing the bowl.
In summary, I do not recommend this process for this type of turning. In the first process,
the slats separated too easily. In this process, the double stick tape held on too tightly.
I did some damage to the slats while trying to separate them. I like the way the bowl
looks but not the process. I may have to relent and use paper joints between the slats.
That's it for this bowl. Please give this video a thumbs up, subscribe on my website
and tell your friends. Please wear your full face shield – yes I'm nagging but you
will thank me later. I am Alan Stratton from As Wood Turns dot com. Every week I make a
new woodturning video. So come on back next week.

How To Choose The Right Cologne & How To Apply One - Gentleman's Gazette - Duration: 10:41.
Welcome back to the Gentleman's Gazette and part two of our series on colognes and fragrances.
Today, we discuss how to choose the right cologne as well as how to apply it.
If you haven't already checked out part 1 about the history, you can do so here, and
stay tuned for do's and don'ts in part 3 here.
So how should you pick the right Cologne?
Honestly, reading reviews online or elsewhere are really not the best way simply because
everyone's nose is different and the exact same cologne can smell different based on
your natural body odor.
So before you go out to a store or before you acquire samples, here are few things that
I think you have to understand.
First of all, understand ingredients.
Most colognes consist of multiple different fragrances, water and alcohol, to create something
that is harmonious and flattering.
Traditionally, essential oils would be used to add the scents to the Cologne.
Well-known essential oils include lavender, rose, bergamot, and sandalwood, for example.
Personally, I'm also a big fan of lemongrass, unfortunately, most manufacturers will not
list the essential oils on the ingredients list because they want to keep the secret
recipe.
As you can imagine, squeezing hundreds and hundreds of pounds for just a few ounces of
pure rose oil is not just very costly but the final result of the fragrance and the
scent also depends on the season, on the weather, and everything that goes into growing this
natural plant, herb, or spice.
So when manufacturers use natural essential oils, they may run into issues with consistency.
In one year, the lemongrass will be much more fragrant than in other years and so it's very
difficult to create a consistent experience for the consumer.
Because of that, most essential oils used in Cologne today are derived synthetically;
that way, you can guarantee a certain level of consistency and at the same time, it's
a lot less expensive.
If you read the term fragrance on the ingredients list, you can safely assume it is 100% synthetic
because most manufacturers would highlight the fact that they used natural essential
oils.
That being said, the best fragrances are still derived naturally but they also come at a
higher price point.
Two, I suggest you understand the fragrance wheel.
There are many different variations.
Scents are categorized into floral, oriental, fresh, and woody, sometimes also in aromatic.
Ultimately, this is just a graphic and if you haven't smelled any of this before, it
won't be of any help, however, once you've found colognes that you like and you've analyzed
what is in them, this can help you find related colognes that you might also like.
Ultimately, you want to narrow down the selection of potential favorites for you by using the
wheel.
For a more detailed look at the fragrance wheel, please head over to our website here.
Three, before you buy cologne, it's essential to sample it in person.
Why?
You might ask.
Well again, it's your nose and everyone's perception of smell is different, on top of
that, it's essential that you smell a cologne for at least 30 minutes, ideally up to an
hour individually, before you decide on buying it.
So why do I have to wait 30 minutes to one hour if I can smell the Cologne right away,
you might wonder?
Well actually, it all comes down to understanding the fragrance pyramid.
Basically, a cologne consists of base notes, heart notes, and top notes.
The top note is the most volatile of the three, meaning it evaporates most quickly and it's
what you can typically smell when you spray the Cologne onto your arm or onto a tester
strip.
Oftentimes, it's described as fresh or assertive or sharp and it's never on its own because
you also have elements of the heart note and the base note that go into it's perception.
That being said, I always suggest to test the Cologne on your skin and never just on
a tester strip because your natural odor impacts the way you and others perceive that scent.
The heart notes or the middle notes are about to appear strongly when the top note disappears
which is generally about 20 minutes in.
Typically, the notes are more round or mellowed compared to the top notes and it can last
all the way up to an hour.
Base notes, on the other hand, are the least volatile component and are often perceived
as rich or heavier.
It typically takes at least 30 minutes to release those base notes.
In the beginning, they're overlaid by the heart notes and so that's why you want enough
time with a cologne so you can truly experience what it smells like and how the sense develops
over time.
Even if you might enjoy a scent right out of a bottle, you may actually not end up liking
it at all 30 minutes in.
So let's say you're at a store and you don't just want to bring home one sample, I suggest
to spray different scents onto a tester strip or onto your skin.
Once you put the first scent on, you should have some coffee grounds or coffee beans that
you smell in between because that helps to neutralize your taste and your smell buds,
you must do it because otherwise, your nose gets overloaded by the senses and so if you
smell something and you think you like it, it may smell entirely different than if you
spent the next day just on its own.
For the same reason, I suggest never to bring more than three samples home because otherwise,
your nose will be just overloaded.
If you want to use more, definitely use tester strips otherwise, you'll have too much on
your body and it interferes with a perception.
Despite what many say, you don't need a huge collection of colognes.
I even know men who just have one cologne and they made it their signature scent so
everyone recognizes them when they enter the room even though they haven't even seen them
in the first place.
Personally, I think it's nice to have a small collection of colognes so you can have a richer
perfume for the evenings or for the winter, something lighter for summer, or during the
day, and maybe something else that's a little different if you're in a different mood.
Also, keep in mind, cologne never just stands on its own.
The shampoo you use, the lotion you put on your skin, and even the food you eat paired
with your natural body odor or smell will always impact how a scent is perceived.
For example, just think of eating a lot of garlic or even spicy foods will have an impact
on how your body smells, so if you go out and eat something heavy or spicy, you probably
want to go for a lighter scent, not something rich and deep.
For example, I like to use Creed Royal Oud in the winter and for evenings because it's
a heavier richer scent that I would find quite uncomfortable during this summer.
During the day I like La Dandy by D'orsay or maybe the spice bomb from Viktor and Rolf.
In the past, I've also used Polo Ralph Lauren blue or Montblanc individuel.
I suggest you just go out and smell different things to figure out what works for you and
what doesn't.
An all time classic is the 4711 original eau de Cologne which personally I'm not a big
fan of but maybe it works for you.
If you go to a regular store, you will see many designer names of Cologne very popular
because it's a high margin product but most of the time, what you can find inside the
bottle cost less than one dollar to produce and the bottle is actually several times more
expensive than that.
so you'll want to go a step up from those designer perfumes you can look into brands
like Penhaligons or Creed which have a range of very appealing gentlemen scents, at least
in my opinion.
Another step up would be colognes for someone like Lorenzo Villoresi Firenze who uses very
good essential oils and interesting combinations.
If money is of no concern to you and you want the absolute best colognes, you should look
into brands like Xerjoff which come in with semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli
which is something that we use for cufflinks.
While the packaging and the ingredients are very nice and high-end you also pay at least
$600 for them.
So how do you apply Cologne?
First of all, I think it depends on the strength of the Cologne.
Something that is stronger has to be applied differently than something that is very light.
When in doubt, always use less.
I personally find one splash is enough for me.
Some people like two but anything more than that is likely over the top.
In general, most people spray the Cologne in the areas that are the warmest in our body
which are also known as the pulse points because it helps to spread the scent, that being said,
the neck is very warm, so are the top of your shoulders, followed by the chest, some people
also apply it behind their ears because it's warmer there too.
While some people spray cologne on their hair or their clothes, I suggest you spray it on
bare skin some people also like to rub it in the that way.
I think that's really unnecessary because the fine mist will distribute evenly and you
can let up your body and the heat do the work.
naturally.
keep in mind at that point you will mostly smell the bass notes.
Also if your skin is generally dry, you can go with a bolder scent because there are fewer
oils on your skin that help punch out that full scent.
On the flipside, if you have more oily skin I suggest to go with a lighter scent, otherwise,
it can easily be overpowering for others.
In recent years, layering of colognes has become a trend.
I personally am more of a purist, I think it's best to go with that one scent because
it already consists of many aromatic fragrances paired with your skin and what you eat it
really is enough As a man, I think there's nothing worse than coming in and smelling
you from eight yards away because it's just over the top and many people find it to be
uncomfortable and unpleasant and trust me, using too much cologne is a safe way for others
to talk about you behind your back and try not to be in your presence.
As you can see, at the end of the day, choosing a cologne is a very personal thing.
You can take into consideration the environment you're in, the season, as well as the type
of your skin, so you find something that truly works for you and that's flattering.
Stay tuned for the final video in this series about Cologne do's
and don'ts.

It's not what you think.
Some of the tables upstairs are ours, and they break.
Go break the tables.
The other ones that aren't ours, what happens to those?

So, don't break.
Well, I guess
they could break.
-All right, buddy. -All right, here he is.
It's lunch time with your busy Times Square crowd,
and among all of these tables, only eight of them break.

MY TRIP TO CANADA - Duration: 20:52.
I remember since I was a child, I had the dream going to another country
learn a new language, meet a new culture
I don't know, to see everything I saw on TV or I read in books
but I never had this opportunity
so far
well, actually this video was started on October 20
so, let's go back a little bit
this is a video about my trip to Canada
actually about any other things as well, but mostly about my trip
to Canada
that first day really happened
a lot of things, but I couldn't record so good
for exemple I was picking up
my first flight to Campinas
and that was my first time I met
in person, two friends, I've been talking for a long time on the internet
which is "Soldado" and "Hawk"
Look who's there
what's up man
and that day we spent the whole afternoon in Campinas
just because my next flight was only going to be at night
we went to "outback" to have lunch
and take a nice look at this take I recorded
after that we spent our time playing video games
guys, it's been a few hours since I got here in Campinas
and to go to the next flight
I stopped here just a while
and I'm with "Hawkito"
and along with "Soldado" as well
film here, here I can see
I don't know if you can see, because he is driving now,
what time is it? about 5 o'clock?
20 to 6 o'clock, and maybe Davi will miss his flight
if continue this transit to São Paulo
and it's funny, these're moments that I see
which isn't because we're "friends over the internet"
that we are not real friends, actually is someone you can't see
everyday, but I know I can tell
so much with them, and they with me
even when we were
stuck in the traffic jam of São Paulo, and I almost miss my flight to Canada
- FIRST LESSON -
If I wanna travel, at least I have to do
is arriving at the airport on time
"at least"
yeah, it was just that lesson
- NEXT DAY -
Canada, october 2017
we always get that expectation about going to a place you've never gone before
and mainly me, because I arrived in Canada on my birthday
I couldn't wait to see the house,
to see the street and the shcool
guys, look where I am
I'm already on Sunday, yesterday I couldn't record anything
~let me cross the street~
and look where I am, it does look like an American movie
and finally it's not raining today
it's too damn cold, I mean it's so good
I woke up early today because yesterday
I bought my skytrain card, but I had no money
to be able to recharge
So, for sure, I'll do this today
and also I need to buy gloves, as I said it's so cold
and I gonna tell you the truth, yesterday on my birthday was the best day ever
the place is amazing, the house is very pretty
I just ate my breakfast
I think it's more like a Brunch
and now I'm going to the skytrain
whatever is interesting, I'll film for you guys
I stayed for 45 days in Vancouver and as much as I want to put each
second on this video, I really recorded a lot of things
so let's skip a few days and
I'll put the coolest parts of this trip
today is definitely one of the most beautiful days I've seen since I got here
it's very close to Halloween and right now I'm coming back
downtown, because I'm going along with other people to buy our
Halloween costume, and tomorrow on Friday gonna be the school Halloween party
I'm very, very excited! since I was a child
Halloween was one of the holidays I like the most
but unfortunately in Brazil, we don't celebrate Halloween
so this time it's definitely going to be my first Halloween ever
and take a look on my back
this place, people usually go
to walk, look that
everybody there
and man, it's too beautiful
let's there, I can't be late
I have to go fast to arrive on time at the store
I just got home and I found at the store all the things I needed
for the Halloween
and I really wanna show you guys
ok, let's there
let me see where I can start
ok, I am going dressed up as a sad clown
so, to start I made a bow tie by myself
I did with an old cloth
it's great
and the red nose, just look
actually I bought two, but this one is too bad to breathe and
I didn't like it
I'll use this one right here
some paints to face, ok
for me
this is very cheap here on the dollarstore
I don't know if you can see here, but
I paid one dollar for that one
and also some balloons, and a string
I think it'll be perfect for my costume
sad clown
and I do not know very well what to expect, but
I am so freaking anxious
so, it's getting late
I am going to bed now, and tomorrow I'll continue recording
and that wasn't my first halloween, but it was also my first time
I did the jack o'lantern
there are the pumpkins, people make
awesome designs
and it's not that hard
just have the courage to stick your hand in the pumpkin
I felt like a fulfilled child when I saw what I had done
- SECOND LESSON -
actually, do not have a second lesson, I just wanna show you this cool drawing
I did
Canada, november 2017
I arrived Vancouver at the end of autumn
so the forecast was only a few more sunny days
I couldn't stay at home, because in next week would start winter
I knew those all colourful leaves would fall
and I can say I really enjoyed
every second I could outside
I think today is going to be one of the last sunny days of the year here in Vancouver
so, let's do something outside
and I am at Stanley Park for a ride
no less than, I rented a bicycle to ride around here and
look at this view
holy shit
what a good felling
I think this is one of the things everyibe should have the chance to do sometimes in life
man
what a nice place
so now I'm going to have a ride here again
and I wanna go to Lions gate bridge
there was recorded a lot of movies, so there is a pretty interesting bridge
well I'll there to register that picture!
every time I travel I try to learn something
and on this place seemed everyone was happy
I think that's why people travel, people go out their houses, but our
problems "go on vacation"
actually no, maybe we leave our homes with our problems
but we won't show the worst part of our lives to somebody
I think I cannot see it on camera
but it was snowy here tonight
I mean, it was almost
anything, and look like someone dropped dust all over this neighbourhood
because it's just a little, some roofs are
snow white, some leaves on the ground
well then it's snowing this morning, probably means winter
is coming and probably we're going to see snow in the next days
I hope it's snowy
please, I wanna see snow
and I was almost right
as much as winter was coming, that day was the closest I
was to see snow
but it's ok
and even it's almost nothing of
snow, it's really cool when I woke up and I looked out the window, and I saw snow at the roof and
around the bottom was all white, so I realize
it was snow
I want to see snow
look at that car over there
probably that car
it was in a place full of snow and came here
during the time I stayed there I met a lots of nice people
and after I started my studies, a lot of things happened
for exemple, one day
that I won't forget was when we went ice skating
it was my first time doing that, and I didn't do so badly
that same day we went to an Italian restaurant
that although
it was so cold, it was cool
in fact what makes worth that
night, was recorded the fantastic day I had with my friends
each one wrote in my journal in their native language, and as much as I read
today, and I don't understand anything, no problem, I remember
each second of that day
also had some crazy days we went to Karaoke
I won't show this so much, because it's better not to be ashamed on the internet
also something very cool, every day we went to
my friends' country restaurant
we went to Japanese restaurant
African
Mexican
Saudi Arabian
and also Korean restaurant
and of course I couldn't record everything
but I could find a video, when I was teaching some things
in Portuguese
I won't shut up
shut up
shut up
"shut up"
shut up you, behave, okay honey?
there was one day I went to suspension bridge park
that place is beautiful, it seemed scenery from the twilight movie
in fact, my teacher said that some scanes were actually filmed there
I don't have much time to record, but
I am above the bridge
it sucks... worst time ever, for the memory card get full
There were things I wanted to recorded better, so I could put here
like this party
everybody was playing beer pong, it was really cool
too bad I couldn't record too much
Brazil
Unfortunately in the middle of this trip, we always had to say goodbye to some friends
we always tried to do somthing
special, but this time we did something I couldn't imagine it'll
happen on this trip
we rent a limo for $ 8 each
this to ride over the city and
to listen to some songs inside the car
that day was crazy!
and I have not shown us singing
naruto song inside the limousine
and even more, after all this we spent the dawn
inside the airport
and this to say goodbye to who was going back to their countries
maybe I don't have many friends
but the friendships I made there are the best!
we really spent a lot of time
together, and in one day we met to each one make a typical dish
from our country
there was a lot of hot stuff
an African dish
Korean
Japanese
of course I made the Brazilian dish
my first time doing that and I couldn't believe
it was good
until it already been a wonderful day, but something happened that made it
unforgettable
when I first arrived Canada, it was on my
birthday, but I still did not meet anyone
that day after all
sat down to eat, I discovered they had made a surprise party to me
as I said
I may not have many friends, but the friendships I've made there
are the best!
Canada, december 2017
on my last day, we tried to do something different
but it didn't work so good, it was raining a lot
we decided to go to Starbucks, where I had my last hot chocolate
it's amazing to look back and see everything I've done and learned
I never imagined
I would meet so many wonderful friends as I met
but there's always an hour we have to say goodbye (ok, bye)
one time everybody is around you, and when you see is not around anymore

MY TRIP TO CANADA - Duration: 20:52.
I remember since I was a child, I had the dream going to another country
learn a new language, meet a new culture
I don't know, to see everything I saw on TV or I read in books
but I never had this opportunity
so far
well, actually this video was started on October 20
so, let's go back a little bit
this is a video about my trip to Canada
actually about any other things as well, but mostly about my trip
to Canada
that first day really happened
a lot of things, but I couldn't record so good
for exemple I was picking up
my first flight to Campinas
and that was my first time I met
in person, two friends, I've been talking for a long time on the internet
which is "Soldado" and "Hawk"
Look who's there
what's up man
and that day we spent the whole afternoon in Campinas
just because my next flight was only going to be at night
we went to "outback" to have lunch
and take a nice look at this take I recorded
after that we spent our time playing video games
guys, it's been a few hours since I got here in Campinas
and to go to the next flight
I stopped here just a while
and I'm with "Hawkito"
and along with "Soldado" as well
film here, here I can see
I don't know if you can see, because he is driving now,
what time is it? about 5 o'clock?
20 to 6 o'clock, and maybe Davi will miss his flight
if continue this transit to São Paulo
and it's funny, these're moments that I see
which isn't because we're "friends over the internet"
that we are not real friends, actually is someone you can't see
everyday, but I know I can tell
so much with them, and they with me
even when we were
stuck in the traffic jam of São Paulo, and I almost miss my flight to Canada
- FIRST LESSON -
If I wanna travel, at least I have to do
is arriving at the airport on time
"at least"
yeah, it was just that lesson
- NEXT DAY -
Canada, october 2017
we always get that expectation about going to a place you've never gone before
and mainly me, because I arrived in Canada on my birthday
I couldn't wait to see the house,
to see the street and the shcool
guys, look where I am
I'm already on Sunday, yesterday I couldn't record anything
~let me cross the street~
and look where I am, it does look like an American movie
and finally it's not raining today
it's too damn cold, I mean it's so good
I woke up early today because yesterday
I bought my skytrain card, but I had no money
to be able to recharge
So, for sure, I'll do this today
and also I need to buy gloves, as I said it's so cold
and I gonna tell you the truth, yesterday on my birthday was the best day ever
the place is amazing, the house is very pretty
I just ate my breakfast
I think it's more like a Brunch
and now I'm going to the skytrain
whatever is interesting, I'll film for you guys
I stayed for 45 days in Vancouver and as much as I want to put each
second on this video, I really recorded a lot of things
so let's skip a few days and
I'll put the coolest parts of this trip
today is definitely one of the most beautiful days I've seen since I got here
it's very close to Halloween and right now I'm coming back
downtown, because I'm going along with other people to buy our
Halloween costume, and tomorrow on Friday gonna be the school Halloween party
I'm very, very excited! since I was a child
Halloween was one of the holidays I like the most
but unfortunately in Brazil, we don't celebrate Halloween
so this time it's definitely going to be my first Halloween ever
and take a look on my back
this place, people usually go
to walk, look that
everybody there
and man, it's too beautiful
let's there, I can't be late
I have to go fast to arrive on time at the store
I just got home and I found at the store all the things I needed
for the Halloween
and I really wanna show you guys
ok, let's there
let me see where I can start
ok, I am going dressed up as a sad clown
so, to start I made a bow tie by myself
I did with an old cloth
it's great
and the red nose, just look
actually I bought two, but this one is too bad to breathe and
I didn't like it
I'll use this one right here
some paints to face, ok
for me
this is very cheap here on the dollarstore
I don't know if you can see here, but
I paid one dollar for that one
and also some balloons, and a string
I think it'll be perfect for my costume
sad clown
and I do not know very well what to expect, but
I am so freaking anxious
so, it's getting late
I am going to bed now, and tomorrow I'll continue recording
and that wasn't my first halloween, but it was also my first time
I did the jack o'lantern
there are the pumpkins, people make
awesome designs
and it's not that hard
just have the courage to stick your hand in the pumpkin
I felt like a fulfilled child when I saw what I had done
- SECOND LESSON -
actually, do not have a second lesson, I just wanna show you this cool drawing
I did
Canada, november 2017
I arrived Vancouver at the end of autumn
so the forecast was only a few more sunny days
I couldn't stay at home, because in next week would start winter
I knew those all colourful leaves would fall
and I can say I really enjoyed
every second I could outside
I think today is going to be one of the last sunny days of the year here in Vancouver
so, let's do something outside
and I am at Stanley Park for a ride
no less than, I rented a bicycle to ride around here and
look at this view
holy shit
what a good felling
I think this is one of the things everyibe should have the chance to do sometimes in life
man
what a nice place
so now I'm going to have a ride here again
and I wanna go to Lions gate bridge
there was recorded a lot of movies, so there is a pretty interesting bridge
well I'll there to register that picture!
every time I travel I try to learn something
and on this place seemed everyone was happy
I think that's why people travel, people go out their houses, but our
problems "go on vacation"
actually no, maybe we leave our homes with our problems
but we won't show the worst part of our lives to somebody
I think I cannot see it on camera
but it was snowy here tonight
I mean, it was almost
anything, and look like someone dropped dust all over this neighbourhood
because it's just a little, some roofs are
snow white, some leaves on the ground
well then it's snowing this morning, probably means winter
is coming and probably we're going to see snow in the next days

How to Cook Your Vegetables for the Biggest Health Benefits - Duration: 2:12.
Vegetables are an important part of a healthy, balanced diet since they contain all of our
bodies' necessary nutrients.
The problem is that, depending on how the vegetables are cooked, they can lose their
nutrients.
There are three important factors that determine whether or not the nutrients will be lost
when you cook vegetables: How long you cook them, the temperature you cook them at, and
the amount of water you cook them in.
Out of these three factors, the amount of water is the most important, too much or too
little could directly influence the nutrient preservation.
Here are some tips on the best way to cook greens and vegetables without losing nutrients:
- Whenever you cook vegetables, just barely cover them with water.
- Don't throw out the water you cook them in, because it's full of nutrients.
Instead, use it in soups or broths.
- Try boiling the water before putting the vegetables in, the less time they spend in
hot water, the more nutrients they will retain.
- During the cooking process, keep the lid on the pot, too avoid losing nutrients through
the steam.
- If you have a steamer pot, use it.
This is one of the best ways to preserve the nutrients.
Another good way to cook vegetables without losing nutrients is through passive cooking.
It requires more time, but allows you to get other things done in the meanwhile, without
having to worry about burning your dish.
This technique can be used for vegetables, greens, pasta and grains.
Here is how to do it:
1.
Boil the water; 2.
After it reaches a boil, turn off the stove; 3.
Put the desired food in; 4.
Put the lid on the pot; 5.
Wait for your food to cook.
