As the Hollywood cliché goes, post-coital, some of us sit back against the headboard,
proud of our accomplishment at gratifying our lover, spouse, or one-night stand, and
then light up a cigarette.
How was it for you?
Good enough, you surmise, as you take a well-earned drag.
Or are you the kind of person to roll over in an instant, perhaps leaving your bed-fellow
exasperated and hardly ready to catch some ZZZs?
Or, perhaps you spare just a moment reposing, and then compose yourself and start again?
Do you cuddle up, have a chat, talk about deep things, or even request a favor of your
lover?
According to research, these are all common, but what happens to our bodies during and
after sex?
That's what we'll find out today, in this episode of the Infographics Show, What Happens
to Your Body While You Are Having Sex?
Today we'll talk about what happens to both men and women having heterosexual sex, and
when we say sex we mean intercourse, love-making, copulation, fornication, or as the Brits say,
"having it off."
So, let's start with the man, what happens to him?
At some point during sex, men reach a point of no return.
This is sometimes called, "ejaculatory inevitability."
Pulse rate and blood pressure rise.
The sperm leaves him, and his penis has contractions.
Now he can return to resting and let his body calm down, which apparently happens faster
for men than women.
The penis becomes flaccid, and most men will have to wait some time before they can go
at it again, but it all depends on age, fitness, and of course the urge to return to the hearth
of passion.
Some guys at this point will just want to go to sleep; is this plain rude or is it a
biological necessity?
Well, listen up disgruntled women, science says it's natural for men to want to sleep,
and for various reasons.
Notwithstanding the obvious, in that it's often nighttime and tiredness might be normal,
another reason is because upon reaching orgasm men release lots of pent up anxiety.
So do women, and they might feel tired, too, but it seems men sleep more after sex, according
to research.
Another thing is brain chemistry.
All these chemicals spill out in the brain when men ejaculate, including serotonin, oxytocin,
norepinephrine, vasopressin, and nitric oxide.
Some of these chemicals are related to de-stressing and the readiness to sleep.
This can lead to that feeling of "phew," and then men want to relax, just as they would
after any strenuous exercise.
It's kinda like getting a hit of morphine, and apparently that hit is much stronger when
having sex than when masturbating.
One doctor puts it like this when talking about the release of chemicals: "They give
you a very relaxed feeling, slow down your brain waves and cerebral functioning, and
make you feel pleasantly tired."
But it's thought the hormone that is released called prolactin is the main reason men want
to sleep.
It gives you satisfaction, and the less of it you have, the more likely you will go for
round two quicker.
Really satisfied men may just turn over and start to snore.
Another thing is, is that he might want to go for a pee.
The reason?
It's chemicals again.
Oxytocin and prolactin affect the kidneys, and this makes him run off to the bathroom.
Some experts also think it's to clean the urethra from bacteria, a kind of natural need.
It might also just be because he's been holding it in during all that messing around.
He then finds the pee won't come out!
That is normal, because for the sperm to come out, your internal sphincter muscle clamps,
and this is to close the bladder.
This is to stop the semen from entering the bladder.
In a recent article in Cosmopolitan magazine, it was suggested that men who want to cuddle
are keepers, but it also says that men who don't might just be succumbing to their
own body's demands.
You might find that your penis feels a bit sore, but this is just normal after all that
contracting.
Don't worry, it shouldn't last long.
And don't be shocked if your testicles have shrunk, because this is normal, too.
A doctor talking to men's health magazine explained it like this, "When you ejaculate,
the cremaster muscle contracts and brings your testicles up closer to your body, giving
you the perception that they're smaller."
Lastly, you may get a cramp in the toe.
Apparently, this happens a lot, but it's just because orgasm causes stimulation in
the nerves, especially S1 in the spinal column, and that nerve affects the toes.
If you look at some research, it also says some men's moods change dramatically after
sex, but given the release of all that tension and all those chemicals flooding out, that's
not so surprising.
Some men have reported feeling emotionally handicapped after a great orgasm, and that's
thought to be because huge amounts of dopamine were released.
It's like coming down from a drug that makes you feel happy or ecstatic.
In women, the feelings can be similar, as we shall see.
So, what about post-coital women?
Well, women may not always orgasm.
According to an article in Psychology Today, which cited a number of studies, around half
of women will regularly orgasm during intercourse, about 20 percent of women rarely orgasm, 20
percent consistently orgasm, and 5 percent never orgasm.
When they do, it's different from a man's one great push to the sun, as women have what
has been called "rapid, rhythmic contractions."
This can be quite the event, and some women certainly show this in their face, sometimes
looking like they've had an ecstatic experience.
These shock waves go through her genitals, her anus, her uterus, and her pelvis, and
she too will have a magnificent rush of chemicals flooding through her brain.
She may experience female ejaculation, which is when a milky liquid will come out of her
urethra.
Don't worry women, there's nothing wrong with this.
But what about when a lot of liquid comes out?
A neurophysiologist from Rutgers University in Newark says its not the same milky stuff
if it comes out in large amounts;, in that case, she says, it is "urine diluted with
substances from the female prostate."
Scientists are still not clear as to why some women do this and others don't, but it's
certainly not harmful.
So why are women often up for a chat about tomorrow's activities or the meaning of
life while some men are already halfway to Lalaland?
According to a study in the Netherlands undertaken in 2005, women are more focused than men during
sex, their minds completely set to the task of reaching orgasm.
This is because their amygdala and hippocampus, which regulate feelings, kind of turns off.
They are at one with sex, well, at least if they are fully immersed in it.
"Once we've come, we return to our bodies, our consciousness re-calibrates, and our emotional
intelligence returns," said an article in Bustle about this phenomenon.
But after sex they switch back, and it's then they get that lovely hit of oxytocin
– sometimes called the cuddle chemical.
One study found that people with high levels of testosterone release less of this after
sex, and men generally have high levels – some women do too, of course.
Just not as much.
So men, next time you turn over, blame your lack of oxytocin.
And women may not experience a refractory period at all.
This is the downtime men need to get ready to do it again.
Note: teenagers may not need much downtime, but then again, sex doesn't always last
that long for these hyper-carnal kids.
Women are multi-orgasmic, and they really could just start again.
But be careful there women, because sex can be more painful for you than it can be for
men.
Women might cramp up in the uterus, and this is down to the cuddle drug, oxytocin.
Let's now call that the double-edged sword chemical.
There might also be some burning because of the vaginal tissues getting dry, but lubrication
can help.
The stinging doesn't mean there is a problem, but obviously if it persists longer than a
day or two, it might be something else.
And if men see shrinkage, then women see the opposite, in their breasts at least.
Many women's breasts get bigger after sex, and in some women by as much as 25%.
According to Women's Health magazine just how swollen the breasts become differs from
woman to woman.
The same article also said a woman's clitorus will become very small at point of orgasm,
almost disappearing.
At the same time women's nipples may become more sensitive, but this is very natural.
Other reports say some women become giddy after sex, and others feel great confidence,
seeing their bodies as much more attractive than before.
Most reports we can find state that while some women may experience a slump after the
sex, it's the men that really suffer from depression, sometimes a week long.
But as the saying goes, what goes up, must come down, and most of the time it's worth
the ride.
So, does this video accurately describe what happens to your body during sex, or did we

2019 Jaguar F-Pace SVR: The Full-Bore Jag SUV Has Arrived - Duration: 3:34.
A high-performance version of Jaguar's F-Pace
might have seemed like a foregone conclusion given the recent explosion of the sporty-SUV
segment.
But that doesn't make the V-8–powered 2019 F-Pace SVR any less exciting.
With 550 horsepower from the British automaker's ubiquitous supercharged 5.0-liter V-8, a revamped
chassis, and an extra helping of visual aggression, the hottest F-Pace seems poised to stack up
well against rivals such as the Mercedes-AMG GLC63 and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
Fitting the V-8 into the F-Pace likely didn't take much effort, as this engine shares the
same block with the supercharged 3.0-liter V-6 found in the lesser, 380-hp F-Pace S.
The 5.0-liter unit makes the same 550 horses and 502 lb-ft of torque in the F-Pace as it
does in the F-type R sports car, and an active exhaust system with quad tailpipes ensures
that the SUV will make a similarly awesome sound.
An eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive are standard equipment.
Jaguar says that the combination is good for a 4.1-second zero-to-60-mph run and a 176-mph
top speed.Chassis tweaks over the already athletic standard F-Pace include stiffer front
and rear springs, different tuning for the adaptive dampers, and larger brakes, sized
15.5 inches in the front and 15.6 inches at the rear.
Both 21- and 22-inch wheel options are available, and the tire setup is staggered, with 265-width
rubber in front and 295s out back regardless of wheel option.
We presume that both all-season and summer tires will be offered, as they are on the
F-Pace S. Software tweaks for the all-wheel-drive system help it work with an electronically
controlled limited-slip differential and brake-based torque vectoring.
The F-Pace SVR's exterior upgrades are remarkably tasteful for such a high-powered machine,
and Jaguar says that the larger air intakes and extra vents up front are functional, improving
the car's aerodynamics and cooling efficiency.
The combination of wider wheels and tires with different wheel arches and a body kit
give the SVR a muscular stance, while the rear end is differentiated by a spoiler, the
four exhaust outlets, and a few extra vents.
Sport seats front and rear headline the changes to the interior along with SVR badges throughout,
a console shifter taken from the F-type, and aluminum paddle shifters flanking the steering
wheel.
As expected, the SVR's performance mojo commands a significant price jump over the
existing F-Pace S; the $80,985 starting price puts it around $20,000 higher than that lesser,
380-hp SUV.
SVR sales start this summer.

Entrevista de História Oral com Marcio Dias - Duration: 1:07.
Márcio Dias was Brazil's ambassador in Asunción between 1995 and 1997,
a period in which Paraguay experienced great political unrest,
especially in 1996, when General Lino Oviedo tried to stage a coup d'état against Juan Carlos Wasmosy,
the first democratically elected Paraguayan President since the end of the Stroessner dictatorship.
In the oral history interview which we conducted with Ambassador Márcio Dias,
he tells us about how he played a crucial role in preventing a democratic rupture in Paraguay.
The interview points to the great challenge faced by Brazil at the time:
on the one hand, it had the capacity to defend democracy in Paraguay,
on the other hand, it didn´t want to be seen as an hegemonic power.
This interview is very important and useful
for researchers who study the Fernando Henrique Cardoso administration's foreign policy,
but also for those who study Brazilian regional foreign policy in broader terms.

According to research, these are all common, but what happens to our bodies during and

Top 10 American Urban Legends - Duration: 10:35.
Were back now with another Urban Legends video.
Weve done a few now and the response has been amazing - you guys seem to want to hear creepy
Urban Legends from every single country around the world.
If thats the case, let me know which country you want next but for now - were talking about
a country you may have heard of - the United States of America.
My name is Danny Burke and this is the Top 10 Scary American Urban Legends.
Next
up
at number 10 we have The Grunch.
This one comes from Louisiana.
In the early days of New Orelans, there was a road called Grunch Road that went deep into
the swampy woods before coming to a dead end - thats where the Grunch people lived - a
strange hybrid of albinos and dwarfs - forced away from society and forced to live in their
own community.
As the years went by, people started to doubt the stories authenticity - but it sparked
up again when people started disappearing down Grunch Road.
Nearby farmers reported their animals missing or finding them dead and drained of their
blood.
Many locals now refused to head down Grunch road for fear of meeting the same fate …
Moving on to number 9 we have Stull Cemetery.
To those that know the stories, Stull Cemetery in Kansas is better known as the -doorway
to hell-.
Legend says that the devil himself chose the cemetery as his entrance from the underworld
to our own.
Its said that a tree once stood in the cemetery and an old tombstone inscribed with the word
-Witch- … the tree was used to hang condemned witches who were put to death by the locals.
The tombstone apparently marks the burial spot of Satans own child - a creature born
deformed and covered in wolf hair.
In modern times, the legend has continued with reports of the ground catching fire randomly.
Pope John Paul the 2nd was said to divert his private plane around the cemetery because
it was so tainted by evil.
Whether or not you believe this all, theres plenty of videos on YouTube to checkout if
youre interested …
Next up at number 8 we have Knock Knock Road.
This is for all of you guys that get creeped out by Little Girl ghosts.
The worst kind.
Strasburg Road near Detroit has a disturbing tale of murder attached to it.
Legend says a little girl was killed on the road in the 1940s.
Ever since then, people have reported the same story.
They stop at a traffic light and see, on the side of the road, a young girl standing - just
standing and staring right at you.
Whether they freeze or try to speak to her, she slowly walks forward to the car and stares
at you with deep set, hollow eyes.
She scans your face to try and find her killer and get her revenge, you better hope you don't
look like them …
At number 7 now we have the Char-Man.
The story goes that in 1948, a wildfire swept across Ojaji California.
The flames consumed a cabin where a man lived with his son.
He was burned alive but his son survived - just barely though.
When the authorities arrived, they found a shocking scene - the father had been flayed
- his skin had been removed from his body and peeled off, his body hanging from a nearby
tree.
The police searched for the purportator - they heard a wheezing from a nearby bush and then
suddenly, the son bolted out.
The overpowering spell stunned the officers and in that moment, the boy ran into the trees
and escaped into the hills.
In the years since, many locals say they have seen the Char-Man in the woods, horribly disfigured
by his burns and tormented by his past.
Hes said to creep up on the tents of innocent campers, waiting for them to fall asleep …
Coming in at number 6 we have Hells Gate Bridge.
This one comes from Oxford Alabama.
The story goes that in the 1950s, a young couple crashed their car off the side of the
bridge and drowned.
Now, some locals believe you cross the bridge at your own peril.
One story is that if you drive your car out to the middle of the bridge and turn off all
the lights, the couple will appear in your car, sitting behind you.
When you turn around theyll be gone, leaving a wet seat behind.
The other story is that if you drive over the bridge and look over your shoulder halfway
through, the scenery behind you turns into a portal to hell - spouting fire and flames.
Whether or not you believe this - its enough for some people to look for a different way
to cross the river …
Moving on to number 5 we have 100 Steps Cemetery.
This is located in the town of Brazil in Indiana.
Interesting name for a town - and the cemetery is even more interesting.
Its been used for at least 150 years and in that time its gained quite a sinister reputation
for a ghostly undertaker.
The story goes that as you walk up the many steps to the top of the cemetery you must
count each step.
When you reach the top, you must turn towards the open field and the ghost of the cemeteries
first undertaker will appear.
Without saying anything, he will then reveal your own death to you in a vision.
Straight away, you must proceed down the steps and count each one again.
If the number is the different to the one counted on the way up - the vision was true.
An added bous is that if anyone tries to cheat and climb up or down without using the steps,
a ghostly hand will push them to the ground leaving a red imprint on their back for days
as a mark of the devil.
Definitely not a place to just got for a Sunday walk then …
Next up at number 4 we have The Goat Man of Pope Lick.
I love my job because I get to say sentences like that.
This is an old Kentucky urban legend about a hideous being who roams the woods across
the state.
Those who have seen him describe the goat man as having dark fur, pale skin, goat legs
and twisted horns.
Some say he was an escaped circus freak, others say he was a farmer who tortured goats for
Satan - Satan repaid him by turning him into a tortured goat himself.
The Goat Man is said to hide under the rusty bridge that crosses Pope Lick Creek in Louisville.
Legend says he lures people onto the train tracks and then takes pleasure in them being
hit by oncoming trains.
Please don't go looking for this one though guys, in 2016, a woman actually fell to her
death from the bridge while looking for the Goat Man …
At number 3 we have Slaughterhosue Canyon.
With a name like that - you know its not gonna be a pretty story.
During the 1800s Gold Rush, a family moved lived in the canyon in a wooden shack.
Every day was the same, the husband would set off into the mountains to search for gold
and food for his family.
Then, one day he didnt come back - presumably injured or killed by animals, the mountain
or other humans.
His wife waited for her husband for weeks until they began to starve.
Driven mad with the hunger and her childrens cries, she put on her wedding dress, picked
up a knife and murdered her children, throwing them in the river and then weeping until starvation
killed her too.
Legend says that that if you visit the canyon today, you can still hear the Mothers painful
cries …
Next up at number 2 we have the Blank Angel.
This statue looks creepy as it is - an old, worn, corroded angel staring down over Oakland
Cemetery in Iowa City.
Her sinister appearance has helped spawn a number of different legends around her.
One of them says that a pregnant woman should never walk under her lest they want to lose
their unborn child.
Another says that if you kiss or perhaps even touch the statue, youll be dead within 6 months.
This is the kind of story that scares everyone off - whether or not you believe in curses
- its just not worth even thinking about!
And finally at number 1 we have Cropsey.
Many New Yorkers know the story of cropsey, the boogeyman of Staten Island.
Legend says he was an escaped patient from a mental asylum who went on a murderous rampage.
He had a hook for a hand which he would use to drag children back to the abandoned ruins
of Seaview Hospital.
Pretty creepy - but heres where it gets really scary.
Many parents would tell this to their kids to scare them into being cautious about strangers
even if they didnt really believe it.
But then, in the 1970s, a real killer called Andre Rand really did start hunting children
in a similar way.
Was he using the Cropsey legend as cover?
Either way, people take the legend a lot more seriously now …
Wow America, you kinda creepy, you really are kinda creepy.
What did you all think of those?
I tried to cover a bunch of different states but America is a big place with many urban
legends - would you like a part 2 so we can do more?
Or shall we just move straight onto another country - if so, what country should that
be?
My name is Danny Burke, thanks as always for watching and Ill see you all in the next video.

JUST IN: Obama's Team Of FBI, CIA, And Dem Officials Were Behind It All – Trump Was RIGHT! - Duration: 6:27.
JUST IN: Obama's Team Of FBI, CIA, And Dem Officials Were Behind It All – Trump Was
RIGHT!
Newly discovered text messages between the FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page may
now be pointing to the fact that high ranking FBI officials, CIA officials, Justice Department
officials, and Senate leadership did, in fact, coordinate with the Obama White House.
This systematic coordination started during the initial investigation of the fake Russian
Trump campaign collusion.
It was brought up by the Hillary Clinton Campaign when they paid for a fake opposition research
dossier on then-candidate Donald Trump.
The investigators in this case said late yesterday that the information provided to Fox News
"strongly" suggests coordination between former President Barack Obama's Chief of
Staff Denis McDonough, then-Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid, and CIA Director John Brennan
which they say would directly "contradict" the official Obama administration's public
stance about its hand in the process.
More on these new finding via Fox News:
"Page texted Strzok on Aug. 2, 2016, saying: "Make sure you can lawfully protect what
you sign.
Just thinking about congress, foia, etc.
You probably know better than me."
A text message from Strzok to Page on Aug. 3 described former FBI Deputy Director Andrew
McCabe as being concerned with "information control" related to the initial investigation,
into the Trump campaign.
According to a report from the New York Times, Brennan was sent to Capitol Hill around the
same time to brief members of Congress on the possibility of election interference.
Days later, on Aug. 8, 2016, Strzok texted Page: "Internal joint cyber cd intel piece
for D, scenesetter for McDonough brief, Trainor directed all cyber info be pulled.
I'd let Bill and Jim hammer it out first, though it would be best for D to have it before
the Wed WH session."
In the texts, "D" referred to FBI Director James Comey, and and "McDonough" referred
to Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, the GOP investigators said.
FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page texted about a briefing given to former Obama Chief
of Staff Denis McDonough, seen here.
(Reuters)
"We are not making conclusions.
What we are saying is that the timeline is concerning enough to warrant the appointment
of an independent investigator, to look at whether or not the Obama White House was involved,"
a GOP congressional source told Fox News.
An FBI spokesman did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.
The congressional investigators pointed out to Fox News that the CIA, and FBI are supposed
to be "independent agencies," and noted that "coordination between political actors
at the White House and investigators would be inappropriate," raising questions about
the level of involvement of Obama White House officials.
But weeks later, on August 25, 2016, Brennan went to Capitol Hill to brief Harry Reid — and
it was unclear whether FBI officials attended the briefing, a congressional source told
Fox News.
Two days after the briefing, Reid penned a letter to Comey requesting an investigation
into potential collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.
"The evidence of a direct connection between the Russian government and Donald Trump's
presidential campaign continues to mount and has led Michael Morrell, the former Acting
Central Intelligence Director, to call Trump an 'unwitting agent' of Russia and the
Kremlin," Reid, a Nevada Democrat, wrote.
"The prospect of a hostile government actively seeking to undermine our free and fair elections
represents one of the gravest threats to our democracy, since the Cold War and it is critical
for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, to use every resource available to investigate
this matter thoroughly and in a timely fashion."
Reid cited reports in his letter, noting "methods" Russia was using to influence the Trump campaign
and "manipulate it as a vehicle for advancing the interests of Russian President Vladimir
Putin."
Reid added that "recent staff changes within the Trump campaign have made clear that the
Trump campaign has employed a number of individuals with significant, and disturbing ties to Russia
and the Kremlin," urging Comey to make the investigation "public."
The following day, Aug. 30, 2016, Strzok texted Page: "Here we go," sending a link to
the Times report titled, "Harry Reid Cites Evidence of Russian Tampering in U.S. Vote
and seeks FBI inquiry."
Strzok replied: "D [Comey] said at am brief that Reid called him and told him he would
be sending a letter."
Congressional investigators suggested that the Reid letter possibly provided "cover"
for the fact that the FBI, and Justice Department had already begun investigating the Trump
campaign in mid-July on what they called "questionable ethical and legal grounds."
"The 'here we go' text between Strzok and Page indicates the FBI DOJ knew the letter
from Reid was coming," a congressional source told Fox News.
"This created the inference they knew it would create public calls for an investigation
into Russian interference — covering them."
Sources did confirm that they weren't passing judgment on or claiming to have a smoking
gun into what went on in the Obama White House when it came to this issue.
But that it does give them a good amount of concern that the Obama White House may have
possibly lied to investigators, and the public about how involved they all were in this obvious
attempt to take out a duly elected President.
It's obvious that whatever went on here former President Barack Hussein Obama knew
more than what he claimed.
And since he is for all intent and purpose the leader of the Democrat Party, who is used
to getting away with murder while the GOP sits quietly, he has to have had more to do
with this attempted overthrow of a Trump's presidency before he was even elected.
If these texts do prove to be a smoking gun it's possible that Obama and most of the
people around him at the time this happened will have to face legal consequences.
Especially when you consider this whole episode makes the Nixon Watergate scandal look like
a candy bar theft at your local convenience store.
What do you think about this?

A Millennial's Conversion from Catholic to Mormon - Duration: 17:22.
So we're here with my roommate Jimmy. Jimmy's also convert like I am and he
has a crazy story. So for this episode we're just gonna listen to this story.
Wait, is this the one where the girl pulls a knife out of her bra? No, that
happened after. You think I'm joking, that actually happened. It did.
Well, thanks for having me back. I was on the convert episode, you know, the what's it
like to be a new convert so that was a fun one. So I'm happy to be back.
Yes! But I guess I'll just jump into this. So I was raised Catholic, very Catholic,
we're called Traditional Roman Catholics. They still speak Latin and wear black
robes in church and they believe that the purpose for life is suffering and
yeah. I was raised that way, it got really depressing. I got tired of it when
I was about 16 years old and so I stopped going to church and I actually
stopped believing in God for about two years
and that was I was kind of a low point in my life. It got to a point where my
dad was telling me all the time how much I had failed God and how I was gonna go
to hell for that which is not fun to hear from your dad, you know, but there
was a one night I was about, I was about 18 at this point, toward the very end of it
all where my dad just decided he had enough of all this and he just went off
on me again, telling me how worthless I was and how I
was a failure to God and again how I was gonna go to hell and just all this fun
stuff and after two years of it I was kind of done and I'm it got to me it
really got to me after all that and I decided that night that I was gonna take
my own life and so I went down into my room to do that and I got this really
distinct feeling I had no idea at the time what it was or why I was happening
but it was like hey Jimmy you know you should pray it one more time it's kind
of what's the worst thing it can happen you know if God's there he'll hear you
and maybe he'll answer and if he's not there then like you know whatever and so
I was like okay so I prayed and at this point it had
been about a year and a half since I've heard from anybody and I just I said a
pretty irreverent prayer and it was I just asked God to give me some kind of a
sign because I need to know if he was real I asked him to have someone just
reach out to me and I have to the prayer I raised it was 2:30 in the morning and
that nothing was probably gonna happen but um not even 30 seconds after that my
phone just kind of goes off and it's this guy when I played baseball with in
middle school so I had been like 5 years there about since I'd heard from and all
the sudden at 2:30 in the morning he's just like hey Jamie we should hang out
tomorrow so that was really eye-opening I was like okay yeah God's real I always
had to do something about that and another interesting thing I'm from
Georgia and what I decided to do about it was start looking at churches and
there's a lot of churches in Georgia yes it's just so hard to look at them all
yeah yeah it's all like the First Baptist Church and the Second Baptist
Church and you know whatever other kinds of general we actually were First
Baptist Church no no no we're the first one it's the same thing where they all
think the other ones are wrong and they're right you know so yeah that
would that took about two years to look through all the churches and never once
did occur to me to look at the LDS Church because Catholics just don't like
Mormons I was just kind of stubborn that way I was like yeah they're weird
I never went and looked but um I eventually just kind of ran out of
options like there's no more churches
yeah all of them I went to I was just kind of like okay
cuz I went to church today and yeah so I eventually I reached out to my friends
who I had grown up with and he got really excited for some reason it was
let's meet up and talk about this so we made up and we go to get lunch and he's
like so I'm a Mormon and you should have a church this week
my parents are talking in church and I was like
you're talking in church that's that's really cool it's a big deal it's not
about ten so I I went to church them that week I had to sneak out of my house
because I knew my parents weren't gonna be okay with thank ya do it to get up at
5:30 in the morning oh my gosh 5:30 in the morning I'll get my church clothes
together sneak out the back door you go slow enough to where the motion
activated lights didn't go home cuz they would have gone right into my parents
window you know and so I had to be careful devotion should all try that
hard to go church every week so I go what am i load my clothes into the car
sneak back inside go shower and stuff come up with some reason that I'm up at
6:00 in the morning at this point to tell my parents like yeah I'm going to
help someone move but 6:00 in the morning kind of Sunday
so yeah church didn't start till 9:00 by the way so I got up at 5:30 to go to
church but it was totally worth it so I go there and I hear my friend's parents
speak and I still think it's huge I go talk to them afterwards like like
they're a big deal and stuff like well that was cool I go and I remember very
clearly feeling just something I hadn't seen any of the other church is like
like this is this is something different you know like this is great like I want
to come back here after that they took me back to their house to have lunch
with them and they just so happened to have the missionaries over yeah they
just so happened to have a message for me that trick you into being a Mormon
lunch right so they taught me about the plan of salvation which it's really it
really resonated with me cuz the Catholics never they don't have any kind
of a concept of a premortal existence like the earliest church does and it was
something that had always bugged me like if we didn't come from anywhere than why
are we here like if we're just here to suffer it almost makes God look evil I
think so just just knowing that we came from somewhere was so huge to me and I
was like wow it's it's so cool and so I wanted to go back and have the
other lessons and stuff I didn't know how it worked at that point they were
just like we have more messages how they cool so I went home and was very very
sure not to tell my parents where I was I had to skip a week because I didn't
want to get suspicious then I just kind of started going and just kept coming up
with more reasons to be up at 6:00 in the morning I would just have a lesson
once a week I'd go just find some reason to leave the house go to my friend's
house where the missionaries were just waiting for me we'd have a lesson and I
got baptized about six weeks from the first time I went to church which I
didn't realize how fast that was till afterwards they're always telling me I
would go out with them too after I got baptized they're always telling me like
yeah we've had this investigator for like three months so I'm like really
that's how long was that quick and I eventually told me how usually fast that
was cool looking back on it even though it was hard and I was scared yeah I knew
my parents were gonna be upset with it and they were they were very upset you
tell them flashback you know about a week after I did it I kind of pulled my
parents aside so I was like hey look mom and dad I did a thing I loved him very
much and I just told him I was like look I am
I was looking around this whole time for like a church because God showed himself
to me after all this and um this is the one I picked and they both just kind of
looked at me for a second oh is that look you know where it's like it's like
so much worse than when they're mad at you they're like I'm just really
disappointed yeah so my mom was like I'm not thrilled and my dad just kind of
blew a gasket he calls all the priests we know which is a lot of priests cuz I
lived in a lot of places all these priests start calling me please tell me
all this stuff about how like you're wrong Jimmy I'm just like
okay you know cuz my bishop told me not to argue with them it's just not even
worth it in most the time wait wait wait can you the priest told you something
like why Mormonism can't be true yes you tell me that just because they there are
a lot of them that I I believe the one quickies referring to his they sent me
this article and it's like seven pages long about one verse in the book of
ether where there's a passing mention of bees and they're very convinced that
that's why the book is long is wrong if it happens before the Spanish brought
brought bees to America they say and so that's why that's why our church is
wrong and so I think I mean let's just let's just say for a second or like it
mentions gonna corns in the Bible right they're okay with that but yeah I was I
was pretty entertaining always go to fhe like hey guys but um now the arguing a
lasted for four months um my dad just could not accept what I had done which I
mean I understand it's like when you raise your kids a certain way you want
them to honor that you know and so I try not to hold it against any of them and
yeah my mom well I'm always a lot nicer to me after a while especially after a
couple months talk about five six maybe after I joined the church my my father
passed and we never got the chance to kind of make things right you know I
never got to just show them that what I had done was just trying to get closer
with God that was really hard on me and I mean if I could tell anyone who is
considering joining the church anything it's you know if you're scared because
of how your parents or your friends may react and you go through with it like
don't give up on them because I mean I'll tell you what like arguing with my
dad all the time it was horrible you know I I'm not saying I enjoyed the
arguing but like that was it was more than I had really interacted with my dad
in a long time and it was something just gone and we had a bad relationship like
I said and so it's something that I regret is that we
didn't get to fix that afterwards so just keep going with it if you know it's
true then you know it's true don't give up on what you believe but don't give up
on that me there because eventually they'll come around and all of it will
have just been even more worth it I mean even even if they don't join the church
with you they'll see how happy you are and they'll be happy for you about all
of it it's it's I think if if you're a parent and your kid went around the
college a just decides to join a church be active in a church not drink smoke or
have sex until they're married I think that's a pretty good deal but it's I
wasn't doing stuff like that but I I had some room for improvement before I
joined the church and of course I still do but like some some of the flies that
I had that I gave up to join the church I just I don't see how any parent could
be upset with that yeah I mean like I stopped swearing for example like you
know it's I want my kids have a filthy mouth yeah I just there was it was a
perfect opportunity in my life that I improve things certain things but it's
just there's certain things they like certain ways that you have to live when
you join the church that are only going to improve everything about your life
that I mean if anyone's upset that you that you're living the way you do when
you're a Mormon like but just keep going at it like I said keep doing what you
know is right and eventually people will see that and I mean you're gonna you're
gonna be happy the whole time honestly like you're just you're gonna see all
these blessings that come from everything and everything that you go
through it's gonna have a purpose all of a sudden it's something that I've
noticed in my life like every hard thing that I've ever been through I can tell
you now why I went through it what benefit it
brought me because I mean it's something that I know to be true that God loves
all of us and he never wants to see us suffer he
like the perfect parent he will use everything that happens as an
opportunity to teach you and I can see that now just everything that happened
in my life was building up to me joining the church and everything that may come
after I have joined the church and I know that's the case with everybody Wow
thank you so much there's so much power in that story I'm sure that will really
help a lot of our subscribers because we get messages from people who are
investigating the church but they're in your situation they so many messages
yeah how do I tell my parents how do I tell my parents how are they gonna ask
for you this is for you guys you can do it however you want to but I just kind
of do it like ripping off a band-aid it's important to be upfront with them
just tell them what you did why you did it's a it's a good chance to bear your
testimony I think which believe me I was scared too and the priests called me
especially it's hard to bear your testimony to a Catholic priest
they'll come at you with their doctrine like they'll be like that's that's wrong
because in the Bible it says any any example really yeah and I think um
anything else as a convert it's you know you you're gonna be challenged when you
first join that I mean Satan's attacking you before you join he's still attacking
you right after your join he's gonna attack you forever but it's very high at
those parts you don't have to know everything you know you're not expected
to know everything there are things the missionaries didn't teach you because
this is an entire theology so there's a lot there but just because you come
across something you go wait a minute like it doesn't make sense it's alright
you'll you'll figure it out eventually at God's time and when it's best for you
but um just know that when you felt the spirit God didn't lie to you I'm really
glad you bring that up to because it's something I notice with I mean every big
event in my life you find that's when Satan is gonna come after you he's gonna
say hey don't do that because I don't his God loves us all and wants us to be
happy Satan does not and you know it's
something you'll be able to eventually learn to discern is like quake you said
when it's the spirit and God's not lying to you but Satan will lie to you
he doesn't want you to be happy he doesn't want you to do what's right he
wants to bring you as far guys you possibly can and he's gonna
come for you in moments like these and we ain't even happened to Joseph Smith
in the first division before Christ came Satan came but when you learn to be able
to tell the difference the presence of God will always cast out Satan I just
like to share my testimony that I know that this is the true Church of Jesus
Christ restored to the earth that Joseph Smith is a prophet and that the Book of
Mormon is the word of God that every word of it is true that if you study out
of that book every day you will never be led astray and you will have the
strength and the courage to be able to get through anything and to resist all
temptation and I know that you will be able to see everything with the purpose
that God has for in your life maybe not at the time but sometime down the road
you will see why everything happens and that even things that seem to be bad
we'll eventually be good for you and for those around you I said I don't know
Jesus Christ amen amen thanks again so much for coming on of
course your story is really powerful I'm so happy to be here be sure to subscribe
to three Mormons on YouTube follow them on Instagram and Twitter be sure to hit
that little bell for the notifications
you're notified every time we upload a video and comment below to tell us what
you think and if there's bad comments will block you yeah there's one guy Oh

The wonderful world of life in a drop of water | Tom Zimmerman and Simone Bianco - Duration: 11:07.
Tom Zimmerman: We'd like to take you on a fantastic journey
to visit the creatures we call the Elders.
We call them the Elders because a half a billion years ago
they tripled the amount of oxygen in the air,
which led to an explosion of life,
which led to all of us.
We call them the Elders, but you probably know them as plankton.
(Laughter)
Now, Simone is a physicist, and I'm an inventor.
A couple of years ago,
I was giving a talk about an invention I made --
it was a 3D microscope.
And Simone was in the audience.
He realized that my microscope could solve a big problem he was having.
Which was, how to measure the movement of plankton in 3D fast enough
so he could mathematically model their sensing and behavior.
And I frankly needed an application for my microscope, so ...
(Laughter)
It was like peanut butter meets chocolate.
(Laughter)
So we started working together, studying these amazing creatures.
And then we were alarmed to discover something.
And that's why we're here today.
And I just want to do something with you.
Now, please, just hold your breath for a second.
Yes, literally hold your breath.
This is the world without plankton.
You see, plankton generate two-thirds of our oxygen using the sun.
OK, now you can breathe, because they're still here.
For now.
Simone Bianco: As many of you know,
since 1950, the average surface temperature of the earth
has increased by one degree Centigrade
due to all the carbon dioxide we are pumping into the air.
Now, while this temperature increase may not seem like a big deal to us,
it is to plankton.
Indirect measurements have shown that the global phytoplankton population
may have decreased by as much as 40 percent between 1950 and 2010
because of climate change.
And you see, this is a problem
also because it's starving the fish that eat them.
And about a billion people around the world
depend on fish as their primary source of protein from animals.
So you see, this isn't just about breathing.
No plankton means no fish.
And that is a lot of food we will need to replace.
There's something else that is interesting.
The bodies of plankton's ancestors
actually make up a for lot of the carbon we burn today.
Which is kind of ironic, if you ask me.
Because the plankton that are here today clean that carbon out of the air.
But you see, they don't really hold a grudge.
(Laughter)
The problem is they cannot keep up
with the tremendous amount of carbon we are dumping into the air.
So what does all of this mean?
Well, it means that our big carbon footprint
is crushing the very creatures that sustain us.
And yes, like Tom said,
killing almost half of the creatures that allow us to breathe
is a really big deal.
So you're probably asking yourself:
Why aren't we doing something about it?
Our theory is that plankton are tiny,
and it's really, really hard to care about something you cannot see.
You see, there's a quote I really like in "The Little Prince" that goes,
"What is essential is invisible to the eye."
We really believe that if more people could come
face to ... cilia with plankton,
there is a greater chance we could all rally together
and save these creatures
that are so important to life on our planet.
TZ: Exactly, Simone.
So to do this,
we're going to bring you scuba diving with plankton.
But I just need to shrink you by a factor of 1000,
to a scale where the diameter of a human hair is as big as my hand.
And I happen to have invented a machine to do just that.
SB: Anyone here remember "Fantastic Voyage"
or "Innerspace?"
Yeah, yeah.
Martin Short is one of my all-time favorite actors.
And now this -- this is just like that.
TZ: Indeed, yes.
When I was a boy, I saw "Fantastic Voyage,"
and I really loved how I could travel through the bloodstream
and see biology work on a cellular level.
I've always been inspired by science fiction.
As an inventor, I try and turn fantasy into reality.
And I once invented this glove
which let me travel and help people like you explore the virtual world.
So now I've invented this machine
to let us explore the microscopic world.
It's not virtual, it's real.
Just really, really tiny.
It's based on the microscope that got Simone's attention.
So, here's how it works.
I have an image sensor
like the kind in your cell phone, behind the lens.
And then I have a little tray of plankton water
like you might find from a river
or my fish tank, which I never change the water on.
(Laughter)
Because I love plankton.
(Laughter)
And underneath I have a light, an LED,
which is going to cast shadows of the plankton on the image sensor.
And now this silver thing is an XY plotter,
so I can move the image sensor to follow the plankton as they swim.
Now comes the fantasy part.
(Laughter)
I put a tilt sensor on this helmet
so I can control the microscope with my head.
And now let's look at the video from this image sensor.
These are all plankton.
This is in that little tray,
and with my head, I can move the microscope.
So now we're ready to go scuba diving with plankton.
My head will be the navigator,
and Simone will be our tour guide.
SB: Yes.
(Laughter)
So welcome all to the wonderful world of life in a drop of water.
Actually, as you can see,
with this instrument, we are not at all limited to a single drop.
Alright, let's find something.
The little creatures you see in the center of your screen,
they are called rotifer.
They are the garbage collectors of our waters.
They break down organic matter
and allow it to be reclaimed by the environment.
Now, you know, nature is an amazing recycler.
Structures are continuously built, they are decomposed and recycled,
and all of that is powered by solar energy.
But just think.
Think about what will happen if, you know, our garbage collectors
didn't come anymore, if they disappeared.
Something else? Let's look for something else.
Oh, look at that.
You see the big ice-cream-cone-shaped things?
Those are called Stentor, those are amazing creatures.
You know, they are big, but they are a single cell.
You remember the rotifer we just met?
That's about half a millimeter, it's about 1,000 cells --
it's typically 15 for the brain, 15 for the stomach
and you know, about the same for reproduction,
which is kind of the right mix, if you ask me.
(Laughter)
But ... right?
TZ: I agree.
SB: But a Stentor is only a single cell.
And it's able to sense and react to its environment.
You see, it will swim forward when it's happy;
it will swim backward when it's trying to get away from something
like, you know, a toxic chemical.
With our friends in the Center for Cellular Construction
and the help of the National Science Foundation,
we are using Stentor to sense the presence of contamination in food and water,
which I think is really cool.
Alright, last one.
So the dots that you see there that are, let's say, behind everything,
they're algae.
They are the creatures that provide the majority of oxygen in the air.
They convert solar light and carbon dioxide
into the oxygen that is filling your lungs right now.
So you see, we all got algae breath.
TZ: (Exhales)
SB: Yay! (Laughter)
You know, there's something interesting.
About a billion years ago, ancient plants got their photosynthesis capability
by incorporating tiny, tiny plankton into their cells.
That's exactly like us putting solar panels on top of our roofs.
So you see, the microscopic world is even more amazing than science fiction.
TZ: Oh, indeed.
So now you've seen how vital plankton are to our lives
and how much we need them.
If we kill the plankton, we will die
of asphyxiation or starvation, take your pick.
Oh, yes, I know it's sad, yes.
(Laughter)
In the game of plankton, you win or you die.
(Laughter)
Now, what amazes me is, we have known about global warming
for over a century.
Ever since the Swedish scientist, Arrhenius,
calculated the effect of burning fossil fuel
on the earth's temperature.
We've known about this for a long time, but it's not too late if we act now.
Yes, yes, I know, I know, our world is based on fossil fuels,
but we can adjust our society to run on renewable energy from the Sun
to create a more sustainable and secure future.
That's good for the little creatures here, the plankton,
and that good for us -- here's why.
The three greatest concerns of people all around the globe
typically are jobs, violence and health.
A job means food and shelter.
Look at these creatures, they're swimming around,
they're looking for a place to eat and reproduce.
If a single cell is programmed to do that,
it's no surprise that 30 trillion cells have the same agenda.
Violence.
Dependence on fossil fuels makes a country vulnerable.
Which leads to conflicts all around the oil resources.
Solar energy, on the other hand, is distributed around the whole globe,
and no one can blockade the sun.
(Laughter)
And then, finally, health.
Fossil fuels are like a global cigarette.
And in my opinion, coal is like an unfiltered type.
Now, just like smoking, the best time to quit is when?
Audience: Now.
TZ: Now! Not when you get lung cancer.
Now I know if you look around, some people may abandon facts and reason.
Only until suffering --
(Laughter)
Yes, they will abandon facts and reason.
But suffering will eventually and inevitably force change.
But let's instead use our neocortex, our new brain,
to save the Elders, some of the oldest creatures on the earth.
And let's apply science to harness the energy
that has fueled the Elders for millions of years --
the sun.
Thank you.
(Applause)

BREAKING: Parkland Student Activist Just Made Horrifying Admission – It ALL Makes Sense Now! - Duration: 5:01.
For the last several weeks, we have witnessed the Parkland shooting survivors taking to
the streets and the mainstream media to lecture Americans on the need for more gun control.
Of course, thousands of people have fallen for these manipulative tactics as these fresh-faced
"children" plead to the nation to give up their guns in the name of safety.
While many people have seen through the lies of the left, there are those who are still
held captivated by these heartfelt speeches made by teenage activists to strip Americans
of their God-given rights.
For over a month, we have seen the smug faces of gun control student activists, and survivors
of the horrific shooting, David Hogg, and Emma Gonzalez plastered all over the media
blaming guns and demanding that politicians enforce stricter laws to stop future school
shootings.
Now, for many Americans, that very notion seems absurd but that has not stopped liberal
politicians from trying to enact more gun control legislation based on the emotions
of teenage activists.
Now, one of those anti-gun activists by the name of Emma Gonzalez has made a shocking
admission concerning the Parkland shooting that blows their entire gun control narrative
apart, and it could not have come at a better time.
The left knows that the majority of Americans would never give up their right to bear arms
willingly, but they do know that if they there are enough tragedies some people may bend
on the issue.
As you know, over the last several years, there seems to be an increase in school shootings
and the left who never lets a crisis go to waste has used these horrifying events to
push more gun control on to the masses.
However, on the surface, it may seem to the untrained eye that guns are the common denominator
in these tragedies, but there is another glaring detail being overlooked.
The majority of these school shooters all happen to have been victims of incessant school
bullying.
Now, in no way does someone getting bullied justify their actions in murdering their classmates,
but it certainly does give a glimpse into the mindset of a troubled individual.
However, this past weekend, when thousands of teenagers swarmed the city streets of Washington
D.C. demanding more gun control did they address that as a possible remedy to the gun violence
epidemic?
No, they didn't.
In fact, they did the exact opposite.
Well, at least Emma Gonzalez did when she stated that not only did she and her classmates
bully Nikolas Cruz in the past but they were justified in doing so.
Watch.
Here is more from Louder with Crowder:
"Just because a student is bullied doesn't mean that student is justified in shooting
up a school.
Emma admitting she bullied the shooter is a tantamount admission the shooter, not the
gun, is responsible for the shooting.
Yet Emma participated in a march against guns, suggesting it's the guns that are the problem,
not the individual who pulled the trigger.
Typically school shooters are young men, ostracized and bullied by their peers.
Perhaps Emma and her peers who ostracized the Parkland shooter since middle school should
have a march against bullying.
Emma suggests no one was surprised the Parkland shooter turned out to be the shooter.
She's not alone, as it was also recommended by Scot Peterson (and others) the shooter
be involuntarily committed.
Had the shooter been committed, it's unlikely he'd have been able to purchase a gun for
the shooting.
Those are the obvious points.
Unfortunately, we're living in stupid times, where obvious points aren't obvious.
Blaming a gun for someone's actions is like Emma blaming her mechanical pencil for misusing
the word "literally" in a school paper.
Yet 200,000 or so dumbasses marched against the right to own guns.
Which millions of law-abiding Americans, including myself, need for personal protection.
Not to put too fine a point on it.
The Parkland shooting had less to do with guns and more to do with governmental failure
and, now according to Emma, the continued bullying of an unstable young man.
Again, bullying doesn't excuse or justify shooting up a school.
Okay?
Okay.
But I think less bullying of students is certainly better than "We bullied him and he deserved
it."
Fair?
People are responsible for their actions.
The tools are not."
While these kids have lived through a horror, no one should ever have to face they are missing
who is to blame.
Nikolas Cruz is the person who walked into the school and murdered people with a gun,
but that does not mean banning guns would have stopped him from doing so.
The problem is not the weapon, but the matter of the heart and until that is addressed these
crimes will only continue and no matter how many laws are on the books will stop that.

Date A Live Rio Reincarnation (PS4) - Meaning of the Forget-Me-Not (3/3) (English Subtitled) - Duration: 4:10.
Hmm...not here either, huh?
Then maybe it's in my room?
The moment I enter I remember. Kotori had the copy of the house key last time. I should be able to find it if I look where she took it from.
- There it is. I pull out a small pouch from where I found it. Looking at the design, you wouldn't think that it's something a guy would have.
Is this it? Umm...
I take out a key from the pouch. The flower key chain on it makes it different from my dull looking one. I don't really remember why it's on, but it's probably so I can tell that it's ours.
But there's only one, huh...?
I don't think I plan to give it to anyone. Maybe I just did it as a joke.
Eh, I went through the trouble of finding it, so maybe I should start using this one. It might make things easier for me. Yeah, I'll be taking this one.
I switch the key that I had on me with the one that was inside the pouch. After taking the fancier looking key, I put the pouch with the other one inside away.
Shido?
Everyone's going to be here any minute...
Wait, what are you doing?
Hm? Aah, is that you, Kotori? Sorry sorry, I'll be right out.
Hm...
...more importantly, what's that?
A key?
You chose an awfully cute forget-me-not for a key chain.
A forget-me-not? Is that what this flower's called?
What, you had it on without even knowing what it was?
A forget-me-not is a spring flower.
In flower talk it means "don't forget about me".
And also - "true love".
-
I don't know why. But I think after hearing what Kotori said, I felt my heart beat.
What's up, you're making a weird face.
No...it's nothing.
Really?
Okay then.
I'll be going on ahead.
"Don't forget about me"...and "true love"...huh?
It might not make it look like a guy should have this. But strangely - it feels right holding this in my hand. It's as if it was made for me.
I'll be counting on you today too.
I call out to the key. Even I think it sounds a little weird, but it's like my lifelong partner. The least I can do is greet it and take good care of it.
Yeah, let's get along.
For a moment, I thought I heard a voice. It was a voice that sounded familiar - but also painful.
Yeah.
I felt weird about this too, but that's the reply I gave.

might be the right scholarship for you.
Is your ethnicity or gender under-represented in travel?
Demographic scholarships to travel abroad are for you.
Destination based student travel scholarships—different countries have different scholarships for
international students.
Find a scholarship based on your field of study.
Do you receive the Pell Grant or other financial aid?
Then, apply for need-based travel scholarships.
OR, your alma mater could hook you up with university-specific scholarships.
To help undergraduate students afford to take on unpaid or underpaid summer internships,
study abroad programs, or service trips abroad, or even summer research.
There's just heaps of options!
I could go on and on and on all day.
Where can you find travel scholarships for college students?
We're glad you asked!
We've got a handy dandy little thing over at GoAbroad called a "Scholarships Directory."
This is your go-to for all things travel scholarships!
Again: Go.
Abroad.
Scholarships directory.
Filter your search by experience to find great opportunities across the web, all in one place.
PRO TIP: For those of you still in school, if you haven't popped by your international
programs or financial aid offices, you better make an appointment!
It's right there, it's easy to use, they'll be there with you throughout the whole process
and you'll be on your way to your next adventure in no time.
How do I apply for travel scholarships without wasting my time?
Another great question, class!
Very nice!
My mother's always told me that if you're not nervous about a job interview, then you
probably don't really care about the job.
I think the same thing stands true for a lot of other things as well
Here are a few insider tips so that you don't waste your time, and, you're ultimately
getting the most bang for your buck! Buck for your bang???—Whatever, here's
how to kick ASS at scholarship apps.
Get organized!
Put everything in one place—Google drive, a spreadsheet, or an *actual* folder with
printed materials.
DUE.
DATES.
DO MATTER.
They do, do, do, okay?
So mark all your due dates and create reminders for them one or two weeks out.
You don't want to be scrambling to get everything together last minute.
Trust me, it's not enjoyable.
Ask for letters of recommendation.
Now this could be something from your past boss or your teacher.
Some scholarships will require letters of recommendation.
Start this process early to give recommenders plenty of time to craft a meaningful letter
for you.
Craft a KILLER Application Essay.
Yes, you have to write.
This is like, 90% of the application, right?
You'll need to check the specifics of each prompt.
Some might be looking for a personal narrative, some might want you to answer a very specific
question or speak to a current event or major world issue.
In order to get the dough you gotta put in the time.
Understand your goals — ask yourself why this experience is important, what will you
bring to the table, and what do you expect to take away from the experience.
Outline your essay—but like, seriously.
Even if it starts only as "Intro, body, and conclusion," at least you need to know
where you're headed so you don't end up submitting a two-page ramble about nothing.
Then you want to edit, edit, edit.
Edit again, edit again, and edit AGAIN.
There's going to be no typos for you.
You want to look professional and you want to look smart.
Send your draft to someone you trust to give you feedback and edit it, again.
Like your mom, or your English teacher.
ONE LAST TIME.
Review submissions requirements so you know you're following all the directions and
submitting your essay in the correct format.
Submit all of your materials.
Early, you pro! and await your fate!
Good luck!
Now, waiting for your acceptance letters can be anxiety inducing.
So, check with your scholarship offices about when you can expect to hear a decision by,
and keep yourself as busy as you can while you're waiting.
PFFFT.
Is it worth it?
Are overpriced avocados low-key the worst?
Is Beyonce an angel we don't deserve?
Could your brow game be even stronger?
YAS.
Of course travel scholarships are worth it.
They make meaningful travel that much more affordable by helping you cover the pesky
costs of things like: round trip flights, housing, FOOOOOD, your
new backpack.
That stuff adds up quick.
It's a really great resource for students to take advantage of because it really opens
up a whole world of opportunities.
You know, that way you can save your hard-earned cash for fun stuff!
Like weekend trips with new friends!
Or that visit to the Van Gogh museum!
You might even fall in love with a country and decide to move there permanently.
Hey!
That's how I ended up here in Namibia.
Apply to travel scholarships for college students so you can get out there and make all this
fun, and life-changing stuff happen.

The Cure For CANCER Has Been Found - UPDATE - Duration: 2:40.
A cancer vaccine that cures 97 percent of all tumors has been cleared for testing in
humans.
If the trials are successful, cancer could become a thing of the past.
I'm going to tell you everything you need to know, here for you on IO.
Welcome back to IO, I'm Charlotte Dobre.
A few weeks back, we did a story on this channel about a cancer vaccine that successfully cured
97 percent of tumors in mice.
The vaccine has officially been given clearance for human testing.
For those who haven't heard about this vaccine until now, here's the deal.
1.7 million people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the US.
A cancer 'vaccine' was tested on mice with tumors, and was so effective, nearly
all of the mice experienced a complete recovery.
I say vaccine in quotations because even though it is administered like a vaccine, it is not
a vaccine.
It doesn't create lasting immunity, meaning it doesn't protect against cancers indefinitely.
But this vaccine activates the immune system, and contains two completely safe drugs, which
is amazing in comparison to chemotherapy, which is extremely harmful, and has terrible
side effects.
The only side effect of this treatment is just a fever and injection site soreness.
Basically, the treatment directly attacked tumors within the body, and then went on to
It could be however an extremely effective way to combat leukemia and lymphoma..
