Hello, I'm Henri Pihkala - CEO at Streamr.
I'd like to welcome you to Transmission 5.
This week, I'm in London to give a talk on Streamr's technical development.
If you've been watching updates of that talk on Twitter,
you'll already know that I released some exciting news.
Thanks to the brilliant dedication
of the development and design team,
we've managed to halve the time we thought it would take to build our Marketplace.
Now, we're happy to confirm that our Marketplace will be functional
by the end of Q2.
But what does this mean for the Streamr community?
Well, firstly, in a matter of months, we'll have participants on the Marketplace.
That means people buying and selling data.
In the last few months,
our partnership team has been working hard to sign up key players,
including data providers.
Now their efforts are starting to show real results.
I'll talk more about that at the end of the video, so hang in there.
Releasing the Marketplace also means that
the companies and organisations trading information
on our platform will use DATA coin to make those trades.
When I said in Transmission 3 that this will be
a fully functional Marketplace, not a prototype, I really meant it.
When the Marketplace launches within the next three months,
we hope that hundreds and soon thousands of buyers and sellers
of real-time information
will be using DATA coin to make transactions.
Ensuring full utility for DATA coin
is something we discussed
back in our "all hands" meet up in January.
We wanted to stand out from the hundreds of other projects out there
whose tokens are currently speculative only and have no utility.
There'll be no clearer demonstration of our token's full utility
when the Marketplace is launched in under 15 weeks
and Streamr has an opportunity
to really start disrupting real-time data markets worth hundreds of billions.
Okay, so while that's super exciting news,
that's not all that's happened in the last month.
So, let me give you a quick roundup
before telling you what's been happening with partnerships.
Firstly, we've made multiple hires over the last few weeks.
I told you about the set up of Streamr Labs in Transmission 4.
That meant six new people for Streamr's technical development.
But we've made hires on the biz dev front as well.
They include Carl Rodrigues,
Anders Eklund and Ilmari Kontulainen.
All of them bring different talents, contacts, and skills to the table
and so I welcome them to the Streamr family.
Secondly, we've started to roll out our new brand.
Thank you!
We told you a few months ago that we were working on this.
Well, this week our community in London got an exclusive look
at the new logo.
Our website, applications and other assets
will start to change over the next few weeks
and the new brand will be right at the heart
of our Marketplace user interface
when it launches in the next quarter.
Congrats to our Chief Design Officer Matt Innes for getting this over the line.
We also repurposed our Rocket Chat to make it a place
for technical and business development.
We're going to be promoting the channel
with some interesting giveaways so be sure to sign up.
Last week we also migrated our blog to Medium.
If I can ask a favour from our dedicated supporters
that would be to show us some love and get clapping
on the blog posts you like most.
Finally, let's talk about partnerships.
Lots of people in our community have been asking about that
and I mentioned how busy our biz dev team has been.
Happily, we can now announce that we have more than half a dozen in the bag.
These include longer term R&D partnerships
with smaller crypto and open source projects
as well as intimate cooperation with multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Starting this week, and over the next eight weeks,
we are going to be revealing who those partners are.

Pride has announced the new warranty policy.
The guys from Ilin Show have built a low-cost Brazilian Wall.
AMT has presented a new class - Junior SQ.
The guys from Sound Lane are building a new project for thug life.
And a beauty from Sevastopol, Dina Mikhaylova who has pronounced herself the SPL Queen

Between high mountains and low kebab prices,
squatting down is the beauridul Pyatigorsk.
- Hey there, friends!
The guys, Vasya and Andrey, are based at a southern town of Petty-gorsk.
- What the heck did you just say about my town, eh?
Ah fine. It's Pyatigorsk.
They're preparing a new project, the craziest ever. and it's not just the project. The prep's crazy, too.
They even have a section called Headless.
As for the first project...
- The project is gonna be very original.
Any coincidences...
Any coincidences are totally unintentional.
What can it be at all considering we're in 2018?
It's a mindblowing project.
- I mean, why not headshooting, huh?
It definitely is an '07!
Wha?
Again?
But the coincidence is deeefinitely unintentional.
We came up with every single thing. Any coincidences are unintentional!
Well, actually, the car has quite an interesting history.
'cuz the first car Vasya ever performed with was precicely an '07.
And, to get the nostalgic vibe, they bought a Lada '07 and called it 'Anti-Hype'
- Any coincidences - any! - are uninentional.
The car was put together as crazy as it ever gets!
They sawed off half the roof 'cuz they just couldn't get the necessary volume.
With what do normal people cut metal? With a grinder, right?
But these guys though they coudl do it easier and took... I think you'd better see it yourselves.
This is crazy. Just crazy.
Except they could do nothing, so they ended up using the grinder.
But that wasn't the end of crazy.
Once they installed the box in the '07 they decided to install the subs to the outside.
- Again, any coincidences - any! - are unintentional.
We came up with every single thing.
The '07 already houses four Ultimatum subs. 12 pairs of 16 cm (6") speakers Patriot Neo,
and 8 counts of Ural drivers.
It does punch already!
- Punches AF! Ripping my eyes out!
At 157 dB the windcreen flies out already.
They've already crafted covers painted red and protected with grills.
I think I've seen it somewhere.
Once again, we stole no ideas. We came up with all of it ourselves.
Bw, if you are warried... - What if it rains?
The next project, tho, can't be called new 'cuz last year it had quite a nice season.
It's the legendary 12!
Whats' fun is that it first started off the coffin enclosure arrangement, and now it's coming back to it.
The box turned out reeally low.
With doors closed, the peak climbs down to 22 Hz, with one door open - 26 Hz.
It only pumps at infralow frequencies.
All vibro, no pressure.
And, according to Vasya, the funniest part is that the trunk lid is not the most frequent tear,
even though it does get its share of pain.
The door frame comes out completely.
The projects turned out quite decent with the guys.
Let's wish them luck and victory and to build more new projects.
'Cuz they've promised 2 more projects, 2 SUVs - one GMC and a Ford Explorer.
Pride has announced their new promotion - replace a broken speaker with a new one.
So, what's to be expected of that program?
If you've fcked your speaker up - intentionally or not -
you can get it back to your dealer for a bit of money.
If it got fcked up without your participation, you can get it repaired or replaced per warranty.
Some parts need to remain intact,
otherwise it won't work.
Plus, the programme encompasses not all speakers.

Tis, actually, is a real breakthough in replacing broken speakers.
And at the moment, they are the only brand offering a service like that.
AMT Eurasia has presented its new class - Junior SQ.
Everything seems fine with it. The class is new. Even the title hints that it's designed for newcomers.
Not so fast!
They got attacked in the comments right away.

Let's get back to the class's very condition.
It's basically the same as it is with the higher classes.
What's under evaluation is the sound - by stage and the tonal representation,
and hte dopeness of the install.
But all the negative came from a certain condition - you need to buy certain speakers at certain shops...
with a special price... And if you win the finals you get those speakers for free.
Of course, the commenters' reaction is comprehendable. You can get those speakers cheaper online.
Or, say, I have a system put together aready. Why would I buy domething else?
But this class's goal is to compare how ifferently the same hardware can play differen systems.
Plus, you get the hardware for its own cost which is lower than the market price.
Plus, you only need to visit once event.
And if you win, you get the hardware for free.
Have you seen any finals ending up in similar prizes?
Even in a car that cost the owner over a million you won't get any more than a simple subwoofer.
I'm only confused by one thing - if the class is called Junior then it's designed for newcomers.
Then, how are the noobies supposed to build a stage in a processorless system
and with stock Xovers?
Some of you may remember that there used to be a class for processorless systems.
But it was a top class. People would DIY Xovers with the sizes of amps.
It's a huge effort and experience.
But this class was dropped in Russia 'cuz there's about 5 people who can build a sys like that.
And you want the same, plus with stock crossovers, done by noobies.
Guys with Ilin Show have risked to build a low-cost Brazilian Wall in their car.
Well, maybe not Brazilian. It's probably just a mini-stand.
Actually, the project was started because they decided to put the car to giveaway.
But since it's a Cirtoen, no one needed the crap, even they didn't.
And to attract attention to it somehow, the guys decided to install car audio in it.
- What you're saying is some sort of BS.
To be hinest, they did some fine job.
The system itself - or rather the box - comprizes Ural components.
Those are three amps, 4 pairs of Bulava speakers and four counts of horn tweeters.
And a power cable they stole.
- This is thug life, guys!
But that's not all!
Later we're gonna turn it into a real disco.
Btw, this system only cost 30,000 rub.
Before I tell you about another project for this year, I'd like to thank the SOUNDWAY guys.
With absolutely no budget, those guys amnaged to build a huge car audio community
and they've been doing a lot to develop this activity.
This is some exemplary work for those pushers who do nothing.
And so these guys are working on yet another project.
It's a Lada '13. Code name - Rattle.
Bw, you've seen their first project already.
Once again, we stole no ideas. We came up with all of it ourselves.
- No way!
The project's concept was to show everyone how to start off the very bottom
and get to perform at car audio competitions.
As for the system of that project, there is no intel so far.
They guys said that the project has been temporarily paused.
And they don't know yet when they're getting back to it.
Let's wish them luck finishing this project,
and if they do, you'll get to see the completed project on our channel.

I'm going to show you. It has different wooden objects in here that
teach the different parables. I originally found this game ... is
an adaption from Wright Ideas with Susan. On her YouTube channel she did an Easter
game of this called "what is missing?" and so I thought it would be
great and a lot of fun to do that game with the parable pouch. I will leave
her video down below because you definitely want to go check it out. I will link it in the
description box down below. Alright, so to play this game- and I will
be showing some footage somewhere- but to play this game you will lay out all of
your objects down on the floor. Empty them out of your pouch onto the floor
and kids will look at the objects and then you have them close their eyes then
you take one object away and then have them reopen their eyes and guess which
object is missing. And then once they guess which object is
missing then you give them the opportunity to tell you which parable
the object is about. Now here is your turn to guess. Which object is missing?
Here are the all of the objects in the parable pouch. Alright now I've taken one

'The Great Dying' Was Our Worst Extinction Ever, And It Could Happen Again - Duration: 3:00.
When you think of mass extinctions you probably think DINOSAURS!!!
Which I mean, that's fair.
Cuz, ya know, dinosaurs.
But the greatest extinction event of all time wasn't the dinosaurs at all.
About 250 million years ago something caused even more species to die out -- in an event
called the end-Permian extinction, also known by its much cheerier name -- the great dying.
The Great Dying took out 96 percent of marine species and 70 percent of all land-animals.
Yeah.
Scientists have been searching for the exact cause of this mysterious mass extinction for
decades, but most scenarios they've come up with have been, well, less than satisfying.
However, a researcher at UC Berkeley is on the case, and he might be onto something.
The most convincing theory so far involves the large scale volcanism of the Siberian
Traps that happened around the same time as the End-Permian extinction.
For those playing the home game, that's at the end… of the Permian Era.
The eruptions exploded 300,000 years before the End-Permian extinction, but were active
for hundreds of thousands of years... even after.
They oozed lava and spewed ash all over the place.
This would've caused a host of issues like global warming and localized acid rain.
But how did volcanoes in Siberia manage to wipe out life across the whole planet?
To add to the mystery, the end-Permian fossil record shows that a global decline of forests
at this time was coupled with mutated pollen.
Something was making it impossible for plants to reproduce, hmmm.
It's been proposed that the volcanic gases from the Siberian Traps could've severely
compromised Earth's ozone layer -- exposing life on earth to extremely high levels of
UV-B radiation.
Scientists think this could've damaged the plants, potentially destroying the food chain
from the bottom up.
This is where UC Berkeley Researcher, Jeffrey Benca, comes in.
To test this theory, he took mini pine trees, and put them in an extinction chamber.
Inside they were exposed to extreme amounts of UV-B, akin to what would've been experienced
before the Great Dying.
Lo-and-behold-- the trees made malformed pollen and became sterile!
What's even crazier though, is four of the five greatest extinctions on earth--- including
the dinosaurs-- were accompanied by large scale volcanic events, which are often associated
with warming global temperatures, acid rain, and you guessed it: ozone layer depletion.
It's a little too early to say if this new finding helps explain other extinctions.
But it is kinda crazy that Earth's worst extinctions weren't caused by giant asteroids
or hellfires, but good old fashioned climate change and ozone depletion, ain't it?
If we keep at it, we might just bump The Great dying out of first place.

The guys, Vasya and Andrey, are based at a southern town of Petty-gorsk.

They're preparing a new project, the craziest ever. and it's not just the project. The prep's crazy, too.

As for the first project...
- The project is gonna be very original.

What can it be at all considering we're in 2018?
It's a mindblowing project.
- I mean, why not headshooting, huh?
It definitely is an '07!

But the coincidence is deeefinitely unintentional.

Well, actually, the car has quite an interesting history.
'cuz the first car Vasya ever performed with was precicely an '07.
And, to get the nostalgic vibe, they bought a Lada '07 and called it 'Anti-Hype'
- Any coincidences - any! - are uninentional.
The car was put together as crazy as it ever gets!
They sawed off half the roof 'cuz they just couldn't get the necessary volume.
With what do normal people cut metal? With a grinder, right?
But these guys though they coudl do it easier and took... I think you'd better see it yourselves.
This is crazy. Just crazy.
Except they could do nothing, so they ended up using the grinder.
But that wasn't the end of crazy.
Once they installed the box in the '07 they decided to install the subs to the outside.
- Again, any coincidences - any! - are unintentional.
We came up with every single thing.
The '07 already houses four Ultimatum subs. 12 pairs of 16 cm (6") speakers Patriot Neo,
and 8 counts of Ural drivers.
It does punch already!
- Punches AF! Ripping my eyes out!
At 157 dB the windcreen flies out already.
They've already crafted covers painted red and protected with grills.
I think I've seen it somewhere.
Once again, we stole no ideas. We came up with all of it ourselves.
Bw, if you are warried... - What if it rains?
The next project, tho, can't be called new 'cuz last year it had quite a nice season.
It's the legendary 12!
Whats' fun is that it first started off the coffin enclosure arrangement, and now it's coming back to it.
The box turned out reeally low.
With doors closed, the peak climbs down to 22 Hz, with one door open - 26 Hz.
It only pumps at infralow frequencies.
All vibro, no pressure.
And, according to Vasya, the funniest part is that the trunk lid is not the most frequent tear,
even though it does get its share of pain.
The door frame comes out completely.
The projects turned out quite decent with the guys.
Let's wish them luck and victory and to build more new projects.
'Cuz they've promised 2 more projects, 2 SUVs - one GMC and a Ford Explorer.
Pride has announced their new promotion - replace a broken speaker with a new one.
So, what's to be expected of that program?
If you've fcked your speaker up - intentionally or not -
you can get it back to your dealer for a bit of money.
If it got fcked up without your participation, you can get it repaired or replaced per warranty.
Some parts need to remain intact,
otherwise it won't work.
Plus, the programme encompasses not all speakers.

Tis, actually, is a real breakthough in replacing broken speakers.
And at the moment, they are the only brand offering a service like that.

Of course, the commenters' reaction is comprehendable. You can get those speakers cheaper online.
Or, say, I have a system put together aready. Why would I buy domething else?
But this class's goal is to compare how ifferently the same hardware can play differen systems.
Plus, you get the hardware for its own cost which is lower than the market price.
Plus, you only need to visit once event.
And if you win, you get the hardware for free.
Have you seen any finals ending up in similar prizes?
Even in a car that cost the owner over a million you won't get any more than a simple subwoofer.
I'm only confused by one thing - if the class is called Junior then it's designed for newcomers.
Then, how are the noobies supposed to build a stage in a processorless system
and with stock Xovers?
Some of you may remember that there used to be a class for processorless systems.
But it was a top class. People would DIY Xovers with the sizes of amps.
It's a huge effort and experience.
But this class was dropped in Russia 'cuz there's about 5 people who can build a sys like that.
And you want the same, plus with stock crossovers, done by noobies.
Guys with Ilin Show have risked to build a low-cost Brazilian Wall in their car.
Well, maybe not Brazilian. It's probably just a mini-stand.
Actually, the project was started because they decided to put the car to giveaway.
But since it's a Cirtoen, no one needed the crap, even they didn't.
And to attract attention to it somehow, the guys decided to install car audio in it.
- What you're saying is some sort of BS.
To be hinest, they did some fine job.
The system itself - or rather the box - comprizes Ural components.
Those are three amps, 4 pairs of Bulava speakers and four counts of horn tweeters.
And a power cable they stole.
- This is thug life, guys!
But that's not all!
Later we're gonna turn it into a real disco.
Btw, this system only cost 30,000 rub.
Before I tell you about another project for this year, I'd like to thank the SOUNDWAY guys.
With absolutely no budget, those guys amnaged to build a huge car audio community
and they've been doing a lot to develop this activity.
This is some exemplary work for those pushers who do nothing.
And so these guys are working on yet another project.
It's a Lada '13. Code name - Rattle.

Love & Hip Hop Miami's Reunion Fight About Afro-Latino Identity Shows Some People Just Don't Get It
Reality TV reunion showdowns are becoming the norm — they're juicy, petty and great for ratings, but sometimes they're not a good look for the culture.
But Love & Hip Hop Miami's on-air clash between Dominican goddess Amara La Negra, Afro-Cuban queen Juju, and Young Hollywood actually was a conversation about Afro-LatinX identity the culture needed to have.
For folks new to the whole Afro-LatinX movement, the cliff notes version is —Afro-Latinos (men), Afro-Latinas (women), and/or Afro-LatinX (umbrella term) people are Latinos with African ancestry.
Depending on where you live in the world, the term has different and evolving meanings (one of the best no-nonsense breakdowns of Afro-Latinx identity is on this Instagram thread.).
There are also Afro-Latinos who are multi-ethnic or have mixed heritage.
This includes Afro-Latinas like Tatyana Ali (Panamanian and Trinidadian), Sunny Hostin (African-American and Puerto Rican), Miguel (Mexican and African-American) and Soledad O'Brien (Afro-Cuban, Irish and Scottish).
And I'm one too (my dad is African-American and my mom is Puerto Rican).
But you don't have to be "mixed" to be Afro-Latino. At the end of the day, Afro-Latinos are black. Period.
The problem is, we're rarely sold an image of Latinos that includes the blackest among us.
"Latina" always seems to equal light-skinned and Eurocentric.
Many commercial and cultural messages reinforce that blackness is a problem.
It's a struggle Amara La Negra has been talking about since before her days on Love and Hip Hop Miami and throughout the season— something she got criticized for when Young Hollywood asked her to consider being "a little less Macy Gray" and "more Beyonce" to make it in the music biz.
Amara La Negra and Young Hollywood's bad blood finally spilled onstage this week when he sorta (kinda?) tried to apologize (but also insulted) Amara La Negra about her oversized Afro.
Amara: …The hair that grows out of my head is an Afro!.
Young Hollywood: That's not an Afro- it grows curly. Afro? is that the name of that?.
(Yes sir, thick curls grow into Afros. From wavy to 4c texture. But I digress…).
Young Hollywood: I said it the wrong way and I apologize for that…I ain't never heard of Afro-Latinos.
And I'm not the only one who hasn't. This is where the conversation gets real.
Young Hollywood — a Puerto Rican who says he has a black father and white mother— shows his ignorance that Afro-Latinos exist— a community he could very well be part of.
He's not alone. Which is why this conversation on a national platform like Vh1's Love & Hip Hop matters for changing the narrative about Latinx and Black identity.
Young Hollywood: You're super Spanish Amara La Negra. You speak Spanish, you don't hang out in the black community like that!.
Juju: You can be both! I'm the same way. My parents are both black but they're born in Cuba. They're of African descent.
'Afro-Latino' means we're of African descent!. African people weren't just dropped off in America!.
Here Juju checks the producer for separating the "black community" from Latinos— something that a lot of people do.
He clearly thinks "black" exclusively means African-Americans— but it doesn't.
Not only does "black" encompass people from the Caribbean and African countries, but it also includes Afro-Latinos— who experience life fully as black people.
From discrimination to health disparities, Afro-Latinos know what it means to be treated differently too.
It's what activists like Afro-Brazilian councilwoman Marielle Franco died fighting against.
She was assassinated this month after speaking up for black Brazilians who faced police brutality.
The destructive effects of the trans-Atlantic slave trade still exist today, leaving black folks fighting racism no matter what language they speak.
Young Hollywood indirectly suggests that Amara "speaking Spanish" somehow makes her more "Latina" than black.
But there are Latinos, including Afro-Latinos— who don't speak Spanish. That doesn't make them any less Latino.
And there are black people all over the world who speak Spanish (gasp!).
Just see this video of Lupita Nyong'o to blow your mind.
The whole Love & Hip Hop Miami reunion argument shows there is still much to be learned when it comes Afro-Latinidad.
Even though Young Hollywood stormed off stage, angry and frustrated (the Latino version of white tears), the lessons he was taught can hopefully open up minds about what Afro-Latinx people face on the daily.
Juju summed the frustration up perfectly:. "Growing up I had the same situation. You're too Hispanic to be black. You're too black to be Hispanic.".
Maybe after Love & Hip Hop Miami, people will finally get it— Afro-Latinos don't have to choose.

because we're eating for three and ice cream is a big part of our relationship.
So while James is chowing down -- I didn't know it was in the freezer, so this is a
very special surprise -- like Christmas morning so -- so while he's chowing down on
that, we're just gonna have a short little chat with you guys impromptu
about dating. And the whole theme of this is: Should I stay with him or should
I go? Because you girls write in a lot of questions that are amazing questions
about boys that you're dating or thinking about dating and different
issues that you see in the relationship, and you're like, "Is this a red flag? Is
this something I should leave or is it okay? Can we work through this?" And I
don't like to give like super specific advice because I don't know you and I
don't know your boyfriend; like you really need someone who's older and
wiser in your life who knows you and your boyfriend who can kind of speak
into your relationship. But I did figured we'd take three of the commonly asked

like, "Tiff, if you knew that there was a guy out there for you someday who was
everything you'd prayed for. Not that he's gonna be like everything on your
checklist, but that he's exactly who God has for you and you're gonna be really
excited to be with him, would you still stay with this boyfriend?" And I was like,
"Not for a second. I would break up with him right now." And Joel was like, "That's
like telling because that means that you're walking by fear-- fear of being
alone, fear of not finding the right person, of you know never falling in love,
but God doesn't call us to walk by fear, He calls us to walk by faith-- faith that
He's good and that He has good things in store for us." And that was really the
turning point for me where I was like, you're right like I'm not in love with
this guy, I really don't even want to be with him, I'm just afraid of being alone,
and that's not fair to either of us, that's not fair to put him through that
emotional roller coaster, and so I broke up with him. Yeah I think that's really
good advice and what I think makes that so true is that you've been dating this
guy for like a year and a half. Yeah. So you really knew what he was like and he
really knew what you were like. That's a good point. A lot of times you have
these feelings at the beginning of a relationship and all that means is
one thing: Congratulations you're a woman. You will feel that way. And guys are gonna feel
that way too especially early on. I would say in the first three months, very
normal to feel that way. If you're dating someone you know, once you really get to
know them and they really get to know you and you're interacting with their
friends and they're interacting with your friends and you know your lives are
more intertwined, then when you start having this up and down, that that's more
of a-- that's when you should kind of probably ask yourself those
questions and talk-- talk to people who are wiser than you are, that are observing
you. That can be really helpful. They can never tell you what to do,
but a lot of times they can point you in good directions and they can help you
really understand what's going on inside.
That's so good. See okay how is it even fair-- I think about this for days and then you have five
minutes and you're not even thinking about anything but ice cream and you
come up with that. Great freezer-burn ice cream is powerful. No I hate freezer burn.
I will not eat any more of that ice cream. That's disgusting. More for me. It's been in our
freezer for like three months, and our freezer does not work well-- it's like
a freezerburn heaven. Whatever, it's ice cream. No, it's not ice cream anymore. Doesn't go bad.
So I hope that helps, so um if you've been with them a short time,
maybe try it awhile. If you've been with him a long time, personally I
would go, but that's just me. So scenario number two: This is a question we get a
lot is: My boyfriend struggles with pornography. Should I stay or should I go?
That's a great question. Personally I think that it depends on his attitude
toward the struggle and the extent to which he struggles with it. Here's what I
mean. So in our culture a lot of guys have
this very cavalier attitude, like oh I'm a man, of course I struggle with porn,
it's no big deal. Or you don't even use the word struggle. You're like, I'm a man, I
like at porn. Whatever. Yeah that's true. And that like
whatever or it's not a big deal attitude, that is a big deal. That's a very
telling sign. You want somebody-- I mean there's been a lot of studies done-- we've
talked about this in other videos-- about how much porn destroys relationships and
intimacy and your own life. It's an addiction.
You wouldn't marry someone who was addicted to crack. I hope not.
Yeah and so like if you --and so like it's really is a big deal.
But it is also a real struggle for guys. Like guys were made biologically to
want to see a naked woman. Like um girls we are hot, like our bodies-- or just any
hot woman-- yeah that's true, not even necessarily naked.
And so like porn is a real struggle and it's really easily accessible, so this is
something that a lot of really awesome guys do struggle with, but if they have
the attitude of like, "I want to honor God in my life, I have accountability in my life,
I have systems in place to work through this and to hold me accountable to
staying true to what I know to be God's way," um I think that attitude is awesome.
Because nobody you marry is gonna be perfect. Everyone's gonna have
a struggle of some sort. Or a lot of struggles. Yeah I think a lot of times it's
just-- I struggle with overeating. Case in point. Well you haven't eaten
very much yet. Well okay I take that back; you've been eating for a while.
But I think a lot of it is figuring out which struggles you can live with in
your spouse and also like how the person works through those struggles. Like
that's very -- the person's attitude is everything. If your
boyfriend has said, "Look I got to be honest with you, I do look at porn
occasionally," you know that's a sign of a person of character. If the way that
you found out about your boyfriend's pornography habit is you happen to look
on his phone or his computer and he was maybe even pretending that he wasn't
looking at porn, that is a big deal because that is a person who's trying to
hide their sin, who's trying to whitewash their their issues, and that is not good
because if there are some-- if that person is inclined to try to cover up issues
instead of dealing with them, there's gonna be other issues that they're gonna
try to cover up rather than dealing with.So really how they deal with
an issue like porn shows you how they'll deal with other issues in life. So it's a
great way to get to observe who this person really is, what they're like. The
other factor that I think is really important is the extent to which it has
impacted their life. Even if they do really want to get help, if this is
something that they're constantly struggling with every hour of the day-- I
know there are some people who porn has become such a huge stronghold in their
life, it's like they can't go a day without
being on there all day, forgetting about work, forgetting about their
responsibilities, like porn is their life. In that case I would leave, because even
if they're trying to get help, they need time to get help on their own. And yeah
that would-- what Tiffany is describing is the same thing as if someone is
legitimately an alcoholic or legitimately addicted to some other kind
of behavior altering drug. Like you do need you need professional help for
something like that. Yeah and I think like having friends is good, but he can't
do it for you. And you have to be able to see over a long amount of time-- not just
two month,s but like over a year or two years, like is he really making a
change in his behaviors? Do you agree with
that? Or maybe you don't need to quite a whole year but you need like some time. I
can't just be like, "I've been working through this for two weeks that's great!"
But you need more time than that to know if you really had-- I can even go two
weeks without eating ice cream. I mean can you really? Probably two weeks.
Probably not three though. Mmm. That's probably fair. Yeah anything else
you would say to that? No. Okay, last scenario. Scenario number three. I
actually don't know how often this one's been asked, this is not a popular one, but
it should be. It's really important. So what about my boyfriend really struggles with
money. He's not wise with his money or a good steward of it, he kind of just
spends on random things and doesn't keep track of it, isn't really good with it.
Should I stay or should I go? And I wanted to talk about this because I
think that money issues are a huge factor in a long-term relationship. I
think-- correct me if I'm wrong- I think they're one of the main reasons for
divorce in our country. Yeah depending on which statistics you look at yes.
They're a really big deal. So like the way you spend money is gonna
impact every part of your life really, and it shows how you'll be responsible
in other areas of life, not just money, and so I think that both for you and for
your boyfriend, that's something you should be working on growing in always,
whether you're single or dating or married. That's a really important life
skill to work on and one that we're often not taught. And if we don't see it
modeled when we're growing up, like we're not gonna know how to do it, so you're
gonna have to learn. So I know like the Dave Ramsey course has been helpful for
a lot of people-- his Financial Peace courses-- and
like getting even a mentor, learning how to make a budget, learning how to stick
to that, learning how to say no to items that seem really awesome and you want to
just buy them anyway, but say no. With that that boyfriend I couldn't decide
whether to breakup with-- the one issue in our relationship was money, and that was
part of the reason I felt comfortable leaving him is because he would-- I
remember him buying me this nice camera for my birthday and apparently he told
me later he'd found it originally in a different color and bought it and then
he found it in the right color and bought it. I was like, "Oh okay so you
returned the first one?" And he's like, "Oh no." He never returned it! It sat on his
bedroom floor and the bill for it sat on his credit card. And I found out that he
had so much credit card debt! And that's not-- that's not a reason to dump
someone in and of itself I don't think, like I've had credit card debt
in my life, like there's-- I think that's something that most Americans have had
at some point, but he wasn't working through it, he wasn't trying to get out
of it, he just kept buying and buying and adding to his credit card debt. And just
that that was very irresponsible. And so yeah, so I think that again it's their
attitude toward the issue. It's are they learning how to work through it, are they
taking steps to work through it, are you seeing real changes over time in their
lives? That's what you want to look for. It is a terrible terrible terrible
idea to marry someone who is poor, a poor manager of money. Now you can date
someone who's a poor manager of money, but you can't marry that person. So if
you want to get married to someone in the next couple of months or years
and they're a poor manager of money, they either need to shape up very quickly
or you need to find someone else, because that's a really big deal.
You know, you cannot be a man if you can't manage your money. You're still a
boy. Yeah I would agree. I know that sounds really harsh, but I think
it's just really true. You'll thank me later. Yeah for real though. So those are
our thoughts on should I stay or should I go -- so girls what would you do in

N. Koreans in Beijing to repair China ties ahead of summit talks: Experts - Duration: 2:15.
While the focus of media around the world is on finding out WHO the high profile North
Korean figure is, the more important question might be.... why and how this visit came to
be.
Oh Jung-hee delves deeper into the trip shrouded in secrecy, to bring us some answers.
So far, nothing's been confirmed about who the secret visitor is... or why they came
so suddenly.
On Tuesday, Tokyo-based Sankei Shimbun quoted an unnamed Chinese Communist party official...
who reported that indeed... it is Kim Jong-un.
Sankei reported... he was visiting for two days to meet with various officials in China's
Communist party... and that North Korea and China started organizing the visit early in
the year.
Some South Korean experts agree it could be Kim Jong-un,... since, they say, no other
North Korean high-level figure would use the special train used by the regime's former
leader Kim Jong-il.
If true, then this would be Kim Jong-un's first known trip overseas since he took power
in 2011.
But others suggest... it could be Kim Yo-jong, the leader's sister.
Kim Jong-un has been trying to build an image of North Korea as China's "diplomatic equal,"...
so they say he wouldn't want to sneak into Beijing for his first face-to-face meetings
with the Chinese leadership.
Plus...
Kim Yo-jong is one of her brother's trusted political aides; she was also sent to South
Korea as a special envoy during the Olympics.
But regardless of who it is,... it's noteworthy that this visit comes ahead of Pyongyang's
summits with Seoul and Washington in April and May.
Experts think the relatively strained relations between North Korea and China have done nothing
to help either side ahead of those historic talks.
"China is North Korea's most reliable supporter.
So it would not benefit North Korea to hold summit talks with South Korea and the U.S.
while its relations with China are cold.
So North Korea's preparing a base to lean on."
For North Korea, it's crucial to consider what happens if its talks with Seoul and Washington
end in failure,... in which case it could potentially seek a Chinese commitment to future
support.

In today's video we are going to be talking about
some great companies that hire remote workers
and that also pay by PayPal.

PayPal is a really popular payment option
for both those working from home
and those that are paying work-from-home agents.
Because of some of the new features that are available.
When a client pays you today,
those funds are usually available
in your PayPal account almost instantly.
And also available for you to use almost instantly
for things like PayPal Now or PayPal debit cards.
And even if you wanna ultimately
transfer those funds to your bank account,
that's usually done within
one to two business days right now.
So it's really a convenient option.
Especially for those who are looking
to accept international payments.
Now, a lot of companies that hire work-at-home agents
do still wanna pay by direct deposit.
Or even sometimes check.
But more and more,
we are seeing companies that want to offer PayPal payments.
And so those are some of the companies
that we are going to be talking about today.
There's quite a few in a different number of industries,
so regardless of your skills
there may be something here for you.
Now the first one we're gonna talk about is transcription.
There's actually quite a few companies in this industry
that offer PayPal payments.
Rev.com is one that is open to beginners without experience.
And that one does offer PayPal payments weekly.
There is another one called GoTranscript
that is open to transcribers with no experience.
And that one's gonna allow you to be paid weekly
by PayPal or Payoneer.
And if you do have a little bit
of experience under your belt,
Babbletype hires transcriptionists,
translators, and proofreaders.
Now if you're looking to do a little bit of work
on a local level and get out in your community,
there's some great apps that gonna pay you by PayPal.
Field Agent is one that will allow you
to complete little gigs around town.
You may be doing some things
that are more along the lines of mystery shopping.
And for an example,
you might be checking a store for a display
or the price of a certain item.
Another one that is similar to this is called Gigwalk,
which is really similar to Field Agent.
And both of those pay by PayPal.
Now if surveys are your gig,
Pinecone Research is one of the better
survey panels that's out there.
They aren't always accepting new agents.
But once you can get in,
they do pay $3 for each survey that's completed.
Now like I said,
they aren't always taking everyone all the time.
They often have a specific demographic
that they're looking at.
A lot of times recently what we've seen
has been males over the age of 18
that are living in the United States.
But that is something to keep an eye on.
It's called Pinecone Research.
Keep an eye on that one,
they do pay well for their surveys,
and they do pay by PayPal.
Now one of the more interesting ones on our list this time
is called Sigtrack.
And what you're doing as an agent for that company
is processing voter registrations and petition signatures.
Their pay includes a base pay
minus any errors that are found within your work.
The company rarely has any openings,
so you'll need to keep an eye on their website.
But they do pay by PayPal.
And with that one,
they do recommend you do have a dual-monitor setup.
Now website testing is something
that many people in my community really enjoy.
The work isn't necessarily going to be frequent.
However, it does pay really well
when those tasks do become available.
Many times with these website testing companies,
we see testers being paid anywhere from $5 to $50 per test.
Usually it's around $15 per test.
And those only take about 15 or 20 minutes
to do a website feedback.
And those are going to
in many cases allow for PayPal payments.
Userlytics is one,
and UserTesting are both fan favorites
that will allow you to get paid.
Usually within seven to two weeks,
seven days to two weeks
from the time that you complete one of those website tests.
Now you may have noticed
that a lot of the options that we talked about today
are on the lower end of the pay scale.
But the good news is,
if you are looking to get a higher wage
for the work that you're doing from home,
PayPal is one of the most popular options for freelancers.
When we're talking about freelancing,
you may be getting into freelance writing,
virtual assisting, social media management, graphic design.
Any of these industries has a huge demand right now.
You can make a great wage doing really flexible work.
And you get to determine
what your payment method is going to be.
So if that's PayPal,
you certainly get to determine that
when you are in the driver's seat there.

If you don't yet have a PayPal account of your own,
the good news is that they are really simple to set up.
It's only gonna take you five to 10 minutes
to get your account set up.
So you can start accepting those payments.

Then all you're gonna need to do
is fill out some personal information,
an email address, and start getting that set up.
You can choose to go ahead and link a bank account
or a credit card account.
Or you can go ahead and apply for one of those
PayPal debit cards that we discussed earlier.
And once that's done,
you'll be able to start accepting PayPal payments
from your new clients.

Rival parties to hold negotiations on Constitutional amendment - Duration: 2:51.
Changes are in the works to South Korea's Constitution, but there's no guarantee they'll
go through.
The government has already submitted its own proposal, and the leaders of the country's
major parties started talks today to craft their own version.
But they're deeply divided over what kind of changes need to be made... and when.
Kim Min-ji explains further.
The floor leaders of the country's three major political parties have rolled up their sleeves
for earnest negotiations on crafting a proposal to amend the Constitution.
They agreed to make concrete efforts... after President Moon Jae-in submitted his own proposal
on Monday -- a move that puts extra pressure on the National Assembly, where there's been
a lack of urgency.
The ruling Democratic Party said it's better late than never,... and called for constructive
talks to reach an agreement between all parties.
The party said the president's proposal reflects the kind of revision they had in mind -- and
called for the opposition to come to the table with their views.
"That the president has submitted a proposal shows that Parliament has not done its job.
I apologize to the people.
We should put an end to political division and put all our efforts into amending the
Constitution.
Talks on the matter have been ongoing for the past 15 months, and we know which points
are contentious.
One month is enough to hammer out a deal."
Though the main opposition Liberty Korea Party agreed to play an active role in the negotiations,...
the conservative party called on the president to withdraw his proposal.
"I cannot don't see any determination in the president's proposal to put an end to the
'imperialistic' presidential system.
It seems the government is trying to use the amendment for political purposes.
If the president and ruling party sincerely want a Constitutional amendment for the people,
we call on the president to take back his proposal and let Parliament take the lead."
The centrist Bareun Mirae Party noted that the Constitutional revision will determine
how the country is run for many years to come -- and called for an earnest approach from
the two biggest parties.
"Constitutional revision is about changing the system.
So it's not a matter parties can use to promote their political interests.
The people won't allow that.
The parties need to come together and think of important matters for the country's future."
On the table for discussion are the most contentious areas -- including the government power structure,
the electoral system and the timing of a referendum.
However, concerns linger over the possibility of reaching a consensus -- as the parties
remain deeply divided on the breadth of changes that need to be made.
"Eyes will be on the National Assembly over the next month to see whether parties will
strike a last-minute deal on a proposal of their own -- or dig in on their differences.
