Salut youtube : server and welcome to the match Q and a as always you guys
have sent me loads of questions using my ask me anything form that I leave in the
description box below which is awesome but it means that it's gonna be a really
full of action lots of topics to cover lots of questions to answer so buckle in
for the ride my first question is from Ann who's from
nice who sent me a lovely message saying that she loves my videos thank you so
much Ann and she's asked me how I met my French boyfriend here and she says that
I'm lucky that he speaks really good English so the trick with this one is
that I actually didn't make my French boyfriend here I met him in New Zealand
if you want to know the full story on how we met I'll link you to the January
Q&A up here where I do answer that question
but I'm also thinking about doing a full video on the topic with all the juicy
details so if you guys are interested in that one let me know down below my next
question is from Abigail who's an American who spent some time in France
and it's wanting to know how to get into companies like LVMH L'Oreal Estee Lauder
etc so I would say like most French companies actually knowing someone who
works there having a contact there could be really useful to sort of recommend
your CV to a recruiter otherwise these big giant groups are usually pretty
modern in their recruitment and they're on LinkedIn a lot so I'd get on LinkedIn
see who's posting on behalf of LVMH careers L'Oreal careers I know for
example at L'Oreal we've got a recruiter who's super active on Linkedin always
looking to meet new talents new people so you can also get in touch with them
in their CV differently be proactive syn to your CV through to the generic
careers email address and apply to any jobs that you see on the website but I
guess my biggest piece of advice would be don't wait for the perfect job to
come up on the website because a lot of the time the jobs aren't even advertised
just try and get in there directly I mean without harassing people are
contacting people of course but I think people contact me on my LinkedIn they've
said that they're really interested in my specific field of work and they had a
really genuine interest and I took the time to read their CV the next question
is from Val PES and they've asked me how I first made friends in France so
firstly I had my French boyfriend who I had already met from New Zealand and his
friends and his family but the first way I made really my own friends was through
my study program through University that's the best way hands-down to make
friends but outside of that do you know what's an amazing way to make friends
abroad is Instagram and Facebook groups I have a New Zealanders in France
Facebook group who run events regularly there's expatriates in Paris for example
on Instagram I followed bloggers or youtubers who are around my age living
in Paris and you know sometimes I pluck up the courage to contact them and ask
if they want to grab a coffee so yeah go social okay so I think this is a fake
name that the next question is from lager dip and they've asked me polish
chocolate or chocolate steamed and this is like a big eternal never-ending
debate in France is the name for this thing a panel for cool app or shakeela
team as they mostly say in the southwest of France um well I guess I'm kind of a
born and bred prison now as I've only lived in Paris and we call them a panel
Cola but I personally vote for sugar in a team because it's so much cuter to say
the next question is from Tom who's asking me what proportion of my YouTube
audience is French so what I know is that 55% of my audience members are
based in France and that's all that I can see it doesn't necessary
a French it could be expert to a boat based on French but given my comment
section given the questions I get and things I'm pretty sure yet around fifty
percent are French I was a big surprise to me because I started my channel for
expats actually and it turns out that a lot of French people are interested in
my content and are really cool at giving lots of ideas of debate and discussion
in the comment section so I'm loving it massively forcing the next question is
from Cydonia who asked me what was the biggest culture shock when I arrived in
the France but specifically something that I really struggled with I think the
thing that I struggled with the most was the kind of lack of customer service and
a willingness to help I thought I remember finding everything really hard
like setting up my electricity setting up my bank account sitting up my phone
going to the Prefecture for my visa I had the impression sometimes that the
people I was interacting with didn't actually care and they probably don't
and and they didn't actually want to help they were you know stuck there
doing their jobs but they had no interest in helping me as a customer as
such and I found it really hard when I arrived because I was really craving to
have some support and feeling like I'd made a good decision and feeling like it
was gonna be okay and they didn't really help on that front the next question is
from - - who's asking me if I've ever visited the Chateau de la Loire and
unfortunately no but it's on my list I actually want to do a biking tour of the
Chateau de la Loire the next question is from Jose who's asking me if I know
about Lolita which is a travel book series and Frances is that the best
travel books yeah I do know them and I have used them from time to time they
are very well written he also asks me what is my main goal and life and it's a
little bit cheesy but it's to be free and to be happy and he also asks do you
defend world peace I assume that this is a joke question because it's making me
feel a little bit Miss Universe candidate but yeah duh the
next question is from Patrick who's asking me if it's relatively easy for
men to date in Paris because he's been watching a few videos from youtuber Jase
Watson and he's having a tough time in dating firstly for those of you who
don't know Jai's YouTube channel I'll link it down below it's super cool he
does daily vlogs of his life in Paris um is it hard for men to date I don't know
not being a man I find it quite hard to answer this question but I know loads of
expect guys here who have French girlfriends and they seem to be doing
quite well I would say something that could be tough is that dating here
usually comes about through meeting people through mutual friends and so if
you don't have any friends here and if you're not going up to bars or parties
and socializing and meeting friends of friends of friends you know it could be
a little bit tougher but in general I think it could be fine
at least I'll find the exit sexy my next question is from Naomi who is a Muslim
coming to study in France and algea next year and she's wondering if she's gonna
have a hard time because she wears a hijab and with a ship or not she should
consider taking up off for university this concept the concept of Lille a city
really is something that deserves its own video to be honest it's such a deep
and complex issue but you may have heard that in France there is differently a
strong philosophy around wearing religious symbols in public places like
schools and even universities that it's not really well seen because it
separates people it's kind of like wearing the things that set you apart
and it shows that your ideals and perhaps your religion and your value
the way you think is different to each other and the concept is that that stops
you from being able to live and harmony together of course in France there are
many people who are kind of against this philosophy who say we should be able to
wear whatever we want and accept each other and still live in harmony so I
think you're gonna meet people who believe the two extremes from a legal
perspective I believe you'll be fine because a huge abbe doesn't cover your
face it's not illegal in the same way that a burka is for example but from a
social perspective it could be hard to say it sounds like it's something that's
incredibly important to you to wear your hijab so I'd like to encourage you to be
able to wear it if that's what makes you comfortable and that's what makes you
happy but in terms of how people will react to that it's quite hard for me to
predict maybe the French viewers can help me out down in the comment section
below what do you guys think about this from a French perspective should name I
consider taking a hijab off or don't you feel free to wear it at this what makes
her happy I'd be really interested to read your comments down below to see
what you guys have to say the next question coming in is from Alex who's a
French person living in New Zealand and they've asked me if I know of any French
youtubers and New Zealand's not I don't and when I just googled French person
New Zealand or French youtuber New Zealand it's just my face that comes up
so it doesn't really seem like there are any maybe you could start your own
channel and there's another part of the question which is as a Kiwi do I think
it's easier for foreigners to make friends with Kiwis I think it is I think
Kiwis are really friendly and they'll be curious and they'll ask you a lots of
questions about what you're from and everything but it does take quite a long
time to build a friendship with Kiwis I have to say they're really friendly up
front and they'll stay friendly but to become a real friend you're a real
friend it could take some time so you know just keep at it keep like with any
culture I think and this time and energy and I'm sure
you'll find your crowd and also don't discount the meeting Kiwi friends
through other French people there are loads of French people in New Zealand
groups and maybe they've been there for longer than you and maybe they've
established a circle of friends so you know make friends with the French
friends maybe and meet their Kiwi friends through them and it can kind of
work like that as well the next question is from ROS who's asking me if my
boyfriend knows about my YouTube channel and if so does he watch my videos and
what does he think of it yet he definitely knows about the YouTube
channel I have to ask him if I can do an apartment tour of our place for example
so of course I have to tell them about my YouTube channel and he watches every
single video because he either writes or checks the French subtitles on them and
he's super supportive of it he's really fascinated he loves looking at all the
numbers or the analytics figuring out which videos he'd get more views and why
and all that kind of thing and he's really curious about it so I'm pretty
lucky the next question is from amaryllis who says that to notice that I
wear contact lenses or glasses and she's asking me what the best mutual or
private health insurance is when you've got glasses and you need new glasses
prescription they're all really good to be honest and by the way you don't
really have a choice because your company will be signed up to a specific
mutual or health insurance provider so you kind of get what you're given I'm
with Henner at the moment and I'm finding them really generous every two
years I can get a brand new pair of glasses with a really generous
reimbursement level so I think when it comes to glasses they're all pretty
pretty good the next question is from Nina who's asking me if I can do a video
or maybe fridge fashion or makeup or skincare and the answer is yes
I've actually filmed one and it's going to be coming up next month so keep an
eye out for that if you're not subscribed already hit subscribe and
you'll get notified when I put out a new video but I put them out every single
Wednesday so can't really miss it the next question
is from Deirdre which is asking me if French people are racist in a general
way which is such a huge question like how can I possibly answer that asking me
if there's anything towards you know Asian people the team of people Arab
people etc I feel really uncomfortable answering this question because none of
the French people that I associate with in it I know a racist people so they
would hate me if I say the French people yep yep they're pretty racist because
it's just simply not true I think like any country racist people do exist I
have heard of for example my friends from Algeria having trouble finding an
apartment in Paris because of their names well they believe that it's
because of their names and when you saw there at Algerian names less likely to
have their their dossier accepted then people with a French name but I would
say overall in general know people aren't racist as with most countries
maybe the older generations or belissa educated people may be racist because
just like anywhere if they don't understand and they don't know anything
about these people then they'll be scared of them and that's their and
racism is often just a defense mechanism of the fear the final question I'm going
to tackle from a lien is asking about to New Zealand stereotypes so the first is
that it's like the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit absolutely everywhere and
that's what New Zealand looks like so as you guys probably know the Lord of the
Rings was filmed in New Zealand and we used the beautiful scenery in New
Zealand so yeah I think down in the bottom of the South Island for example
you'll be like I'm literally in the lord of the ring
and there are moments and parts of the country we feel very you know fantasy
and Lord of the Rings II because you're an empty big Horus or you see amazing
mountains and it looks all deserted and in this kind of thing so yeah I think
you have your moments but is that is it like that everywhere probably not and
the second stereotype is if New Zealand is living and breathing a rugby is that
actually terse oh yeah pretty much I could say yeah I think so um I did a
video actually on the Kiwi culture which I'll link up here and I talked about
this I talked about the fact that New Zealanders are kind of a rugby mad cool
guy so I'm gonna leave the Q&A here for now so that the video doesn't get too
long but as always thank you so much for sending your questions through I really
like doing these kinds of videos and also watch the space because part two is
coming up feel free to hit the subscribe button follow my adventures my life in
France been in New Zealand a living abroad by cultural relationships all
this kind of stuff until next time I'll see you guys in the next video
and the enter

5D Diamond Painting --Unboxing Product Review - Duration: 11:49.
Alright so I have posted up in our Facebook group which I'll link up down
below under in the show notes I've been posting up some of the dine and painting
that I've been working on so I thought I'd do an unboxing and as you can hear
I'm actually opening it up off-camera so basically what you get in a kit and this
one's not the one I'm actually working on at the moment I'm just open this up
it comes with a sheet that has the reference either numbers or shapes a
picture of what it is and also it comes with an applicator and it usually comes
with a tray which may be in there so I'm going to open this up so this is these
are all the beads that I need to make for this one here and the the item that
I'm working on is actually 40 centimeters by 50 centimeters and it
comes with this this is the canvas that it's on and then you basically peel back
peel back at the start of the corner and you can see it's split in two so you can
just work with one half at a time so you just peel that back and it shows you
that you can see there there's sort of diagram of the shapes that you're going
to put on so there's letters on this particular one so each corresponding
letter has a color and then you place that down and this is actually sticky so
you don't have to use any glue or anything like that it's already there
and you just keep that and you just work a little bit at a time and that way you
won't lose your adhesiveness up up as you're working along so when I do it um
I just basically peel it back and I just start working from there so that's what
your canvas will look like and they come in many many different sizes you can get
them up you can get them in like broken up into sections as well so like those
designs that you see where they've got a small piece of the photo then the next
canvas is a little bit bigger than theirs a larger one and then it goes
back down again you can get them like that a friend of mine is actually doing
an Indian head at the moment and it's in three pieces so that's
the canvas and this as I was showing you before is the pack that you get so I'm
gonna open that up and I'll show you what the contents has in it so it comes
with a set of tweezers some extra Ziploc bags the little gel that you use that
you put in the tip of the applicator and that helps you to pick up the little
beads or drills as they're called and so that that's that there it also you also
I can't see it in here which seems like they left that one out some of the kits
actually come with this is from another kit of my daughter's so it comes with a
little tray but each kit definitely comes with tweezers a applicator and the
the gel and some of them come with this little tray so you can actually put the
little babies or drills into that so you can open one pack of the time and tip it
in and then they're they're ready to go so you can see here I've got a ton of
different colors that I'm going to be using and they all come in a little
individual packet so you don't have to open up a large packet and I don't know
if you can see that on camera or not because it's actually gold and in the
light sort of hitting it there's actually numbers printed on so when you
get this sheet here and this is also this this reference guide is also on the
side of the canvas as well okay so if you misplace the paper you've got it on
the side of the canvas so you can see here that each letter letter represents
has a number beside it so one five five and that is the color that you have and
this is how many that's how many packets that you will have and then this is how
many of the drills that you you have so I'm just going to show you what the
little drills look like there's actually a couple of different types of ones this
particular one is actually round and there's also square drills as well so
I'm going to show you what they look like I'll just pack this up and get it
out of the way and then I'll show you what the
individual beanie look like so this is another one that you can get as well it
comes with a clear film on it so you can actually see the picture underneath it
these ones are flat round ones the beanies that they're using on it and you
can see there again that's using letters and it's just sticky the background is
already done on this one so it's just the elephant that my daughter's working
on and you can see as the splashes come out of color they come out and then they
just the backgrounds already already done so that one there is around 30
centimeters by 40 centimeters and she's been working on that so I will show you
a little bit closer you can see this sparkle that they get so these ones
these particular ones are round you can see there and then there's the one that
I'm working on it actually has and I'll hopefully be able to show you this one
actually has little so this is what the the drills look like and these ones are
actually square so you can see that they're quite and this one I find that
the the square ones are very sparkly when you look at them so you can see
there it's just glittering so that's just one of the colors and it may they
all sort of have this they all have the same effect when you look at them just
some a little bit more sparkly err than others I think there's more angles on
them so that's the square ones there and these are the so you seen them already
attached on there and this is ones that she's working on with the another way
that they come they can have a little number on it that's already stuck on it
I'll see if I can get something out
so you can see there those ones are rounded okay so that's what they look
like and now I'll show you what the applicator does okay so I've got a few
in the in a little tray and basically what you do is you use this little
applicator okay so it's got like a little hollowed end at one end and just
and at the other end either plastic around or it might be shaped like this
so you get your putty or your gel I'm not exactly sure what they call it it's
all written in Asian the ones that I've got so you just poke that in and the tip
of the of the applicator fills up with a little bit of that putty and then
basically you have a on one side of the drills they're flat and on the other
side it's rounded okay this is already sticky so basically what I do now is on
the rounded side I just attach it to the applicator and then I just so I know
that the black goes where this this is this thing is the symbol that they're
using for the black which is a square so I just then place it in place and you
can see there's a little square there for me to place it in
and I just go along and keep placing them in I find it very relaxing
sometimes I'll be doing it while I'm talking to my best friend Michelle down
in New South Wales sometimes we get on the phone on a Friday night and we just
chat away and and I slowly do this this is my first big one that I've done and
this particular one is 40 centimeters by 50 centimeters and as you can see I've
I've only done a couple of hours on it I got this I got sidetracked last night
with the kids and whatnot so I didn't get as much as I wanted to get done and
you just keep filling that in and you can see that it studied this is a skull
this particular picture has a woman's face and her and their skulls around her
and roses and stuff like that it's just very striking and I really liked it
and you just keep doing that and follow the symbols and then eventually you'll
have your whole picture already done and then you can get it framed or you can
put it up on the wall whatever you like if you find that you stick one in the
wrong place they you can't actually get them off you just get the applique you
can see there I've just basically all I've done it's just got the applicator
on the edge of it and I've just lifted that up and then I can just grab the
tweezers and pick that up and then place it where it needs to go
so if you put it on there a little crooked or anything like that and they
don't set in place so I put that down a couple of days ago so you can see that I
can still take that off after a while I will put once I finish doing this I will
actually put some books on it to put some weight on it to make sure that
they're all adhered but they don't come off you can see they're like I can roll
the the canvas and they're not just popping off so they do stick really well
it's a really relaxing hobby to do it's new for me and I just wanted to share it
with you and show you what I've been up to because a few people show I'm showing
some interest in it I'll link up a couple places where I get mine from down
below in the show notes and then that way you'll be able to get yourself one
and there's all different sizes and all different things that you can do my
daughter the elephant one is actually her third one that she's done she finds
them very relaxing as well and I found that kids that um had a couple of kids
here that that have really focused on it as well so it is something that you
could possibly do with your kids there's lots of cute little pictures and and all
that sort of stuff so I'm gonna keep going with this now I
hope you really enjoyed our little reviewer of 5d diamond painting if
you've got any questions I'll leave them in the comments down below and if you've
liked what you seen to today just hit that subscribe button and the little
bell beside it and that way you won't miss out on any future posts and I'm

(#18) Tāne Mahuta - Biggest Kauri tree IN THE WORLD! - Waipoua Forest, Nowa Zelandia | Travel (#35) - Duration: 4:02.
We didn't expect a lesson of dance in a mini bar like this one
I just went to get a coffee
What a huge tree!!
The boats that we showed in the video from Waitangi used to be carved in those trees
They were cutting those trees down - I have no idea how
And then they were carving those long boats which could take even 100 people!
They used those boats to come to New Zealand for the first time
'Kupe' - the first one to arrive to New Zealand shores
Did the lady mention about the diameter of that tree?
8 meters!
Gate number 1
Gate number 2
And a ZONK is there
Here is the short explanation why the boots must be cleaner before entering the forest
All those trees we've seen today are nothing comparing to that...
Kasia says that a house could be carved in that tree
I say that maybe even 2 houses...
For 5 people family... with a dog
and cat would even fit

Electric car NEWS, RapidGate Update, Tesla shares drop and Ipace 🔋🔌🚗 - Duration: 7:19.
welcome to this week's news episode on this week's news episode we're going to
be looking back into the Nissan Leaf gate we're also going to be looking at
news regarding Tesla and Nvidia and also something to do with Jaguar and waymo
so let's jump straight into it Nissan Leaf gate I did a video about last week
thanks very much if you have watched it he's been my most popular video yet I've
been blown away by the response views comments likes thank you very much also
welcome to all my new subscribers from that video it's been great great to know
that you you enjoy my videos if you haven't by the way already please click
Subscribe down the bottom health my channel grow
the Nissan response for leaf gate was at the start very poor there was no
response they finally responded which a little bit around of applause their Nissan
thank you well done the they've actuality admitted there is a problem so
that is a good start however they said it's isolated it's an
isolated problem to a couple of users however it seems to be more than a
couple it seems to be you know a lot more than a couple considering it is a
new vehicle the 2018 Nissan Leaf came out in 2018 and there's been quite a few
reports of YouTube users and also from general driving users who have
experienced this problem yes I agree that the chance of you rapid charging
two three times on the journey is very very very remote however on this that
the second rapid charge your charge slows down by the third it is extremely
slow the point is that this some have admitted it so that's a good start
they're saying they're working with users that have reported it to help
resolve the issue so the first thing I'll say if you've got a 2018 Nissan
Leaf and you've experienced this issue ring Nissan and report it and feedback
information to me in the comments let me know are they working with you are they
helping you resolve this issue are they looking into it what they what are they
done they brought you into the Nissan garage to upload from your obd systems
or are they just lying to us all they're fobbing you off it'd be
great to know leave a comment section below but the
important thing is they have acknowledged it and they are trying to
work for a solution this week the Tesla and Nvidia shares have took a bit of a
plummet on the stock market and this down to something that happened a
week before which wasn't involving Eva well it was involving Nvida it wasn't
involving Tesla and that was the uber car crash self-driving car crash if you
haven't heard about this already an uber car sadly killed a lady a lady sadly
lost the life and crossing the road she approached from between two hedges two
bushes the safety driver was on his phone and wasn't paying attention and
the lady sadly got killed and run over the problem is the lidar didn't pick
her up but then the safety driver wasn't paying attention so he didn't Brake now
judging by the footage that I've seen and also the police report it says that
pretty much she would have been hit even if the driver car was being driven by
a normal person the question is would an normal person have been out to slow the car
down enough to prevent the fatality from prevent her being killed and we'll
never know something we'll never know but we should have the computer dater
and why the lidar failed and hopefully uber and all the other self-driving car
companies have safety drivers will revet at the safe drivers they're employing
sat in the cars to make sure they are
you know competent and safe to watch the road at all time and won't be on their
phone not paying attention now the reason Nvidia shares have been
hit by this is Nvidia are a chip maker they make computer chips and they make
most the chips that go into autonomous cars they pretty much not all of them
and that is the reason why it's affected a lot of people are worried that because
of the crash that self-driving cars are not all the cracked up to be and they're
never going to hit mark it but will you need to remember that self-driving cars
are in very very very early development I mean extremely early it development
probably I'm going to see fully autonomous cars on the road for a very
very long time they're still being tested they start off safety drivers
they have god knows how many computers the datas they are in very
early testing phases and we need to remember that
before we sort of hit them with sort of hard penalties and harsh penalties if
anything the safety driver should be the only person hit with a penalty because
at the end of the day he's supposed to have full control of the car if anything
happens on the lidar computer system I mean the end of the day the computer
system could have crashed and that's why the car didn't stop in which case the
safety driver should have been there to take over the reason why Tesla have
shares dropped is also because they invest heavily in autonomous cars
there's a couple of other things hitting Tesla at the moment one is obviously
they've dropped shares because there's a few complaints about model model 3
panel alignment issues and stuff like that we need to remember that Tesla
Tesla is like apple of the car industry they create fantastic technology
interesting products they are not really a car company they are very new to the
car spectrum think of them more as a technology company we need to support
Tesla and if I was you Tesla are at the lowest share point they've been in 12
months if I'm as an investor as a person who buys shares I will be buying more
Tesla shares and the reason I'm driving my dog mad by the way my dogs called
Tess I named her after Tesla and every time I say tess she keeps looking up
like why you say my name but the the reason why Tesla tesla the shares at the
lowest point and you should buy them and the reason for that is Tesla do one
thing and that is they always prove everyone wrong every time someone says
the shares are failing they double in price by the next year so
at the lowest point they've ever been in 12 months I'd buy some they're a good
investment to hold on to even if you looking at a six-month investment
12-month investment they're a good investment to buy especially with a lot
of companies now already signing up to the Tesla mega truck system that's
coming out a lot of big firms are already interested in making large bulk
orders for that so that will just keep pushing Tesla shares open up and up when
they eventually get to product rolling Jaguar and waymo are working together
in partnership they are in the first two years gonna put 20,000 vehicles on the
road waymoby the way if you didn't know it used to be Google
Google self-driving cars so makes you wonder if anyone's actually really
worried about self-driving cars after the uber uber incident because Jaguar
and waymo are going to really really be pushed 20,000 units in two years
production is a lot of self-driving cars to be put on the road and tested test
start this year on the I-pace for waymo and that's gonna be great it's
gonna be great to see that Jaguar and Land Rover are looking really pushing
towards this sort of electric self-driving autonomous future thank you
very much for watching this week's video if you haven't already make sure you
subscribe give it a thumbs up and I'll see you again next week thanks very much
for watching goodbye

I've only done a couple of hours on it I got this I got sidetracked last night
with the kids and whatnot so I didn't get as much as I wanted to get done and
you just keep filling that in and you can see that it studied this is a skull
this particular picture has a woman's face and her and their skulls around her
and roses and stuff like that it's just very striking and I really liked it
and you just keep doing that and follow the symbols and then eventually you'll
have your whole picture already done and then you can get it framed or you can
put it up on the wall whatever you like if you find that you stick one in the
wrong place they you can't actually get them off you just get the applique you
can see there I've just basically all I've done it's just got the applicator
on the edge of it and I've just lifted that up and then I can just grab the
tweezers and pick that up and then place it where it needs to go
so if you put it on there a little crooked or anything like that and they
don't set in place so I put that down a couple of days ago so you can see that I
can still take that off after a while I will put once I finish doing this I will
actually put some books on it to put some weight on it to make sure that
they're all adhered but they don't come off you can see they're like I can roll
the the canvas and they're not just popping off so they do stick really well
it's a really relaxing hobby to do it's new for me and I just wanted to share it
with you and show you what I've been up to because a few people show I'm showing
some interest in it I'll link up a couple places where I get mine from down
below in the show notes and then that way you'll be able to get yourself one
and there's all different sizes and all different things that you can do my
daughter the elephant one is actually her third one that she's done she finds
them very relaxing as well and I found that kids that um had a couple of kids
here that that have really focused on it as well so it is something that you
could possibly do with your kids there's lots of cute little pictures and and all
that sort of stuff so I'm gonna keep going with this now I
hope you really enjoyed our little reviewer of 5d diamond painting if
you've got any questions I'll leave them in the comments down below and if you've
liked what you seen to today just hit that subscribe button and the little
bell beside it and that way you won't miss out on any future posts and I'm
gonna keep crafting and everybody have a great day and I'll see you all again
soon bye for now

World War 3: Turkey prepares to INVADE IRAQ to clear Kurdish 'terrorists' - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 3:46.
World War 3: Turkey prepares to INVADE IRAQ to clear Kurdish 'terrorists'
TURKEY is preparing to clear northern from militants up to the Iraqi border and also
Iraq President Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday as he continues to wage his aggressive campaign
to clear Kurdish "terrorist" group the YPG.
Turkey is looking to clear Syria's Ayn al-Arab, Ras al-Ain and Tel Abyad regions.
Erdogan said this shows his country "fights terrorists at home and abroad".
He added that Turkey has no intention of harming soldiers of allied nations positioned in the
region, but that it could not allow militants to roam free.
US troops are positioned alongside Kurdish YPG militants in Syria's Manbij.
French President Emmanuel Macron said on Thursday it had assured the YPG of its support to stabilise
northern Syria.
But Erdogan hit out against his French counterpart on Friday for attempting to "deceive"
Turkey and offering to mediate with Kurdish militants.
He added that Turkey would never negotiate with "terrorists" and accused the French
President of trying to meddle in military operations in Syria.
This came after Mr Macron said on Thursday that he pledged support to members of the
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The SDF is the Kurdish-dominated group that fought against Isis alongside the US-led coalition
which includes France and is spearheaded by the YPG militia.
France and other Nato states have urged Turkey to show restraint as its army seized Afrin
in north-west Syria this month.
Mr Erdogan told members of his party: "Hosting, at the most senior level, members of a terrorist
organisation… is nothing short of hostility towards Turkey."
France, the EU and the US do not consider the YPG to be a terrorist group despite its
links to the armed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
This has waged insurgency inside Turkey since 1984 and appears on their list of terror organisations.
French conservative senator Bruno Retailleau said Mr Macron had turned his back on the
Kurds following the capture of their stronghold Afrin by Turkish forces.
Mr Retailleau said in a statement: "While France has always supported the Kurds, Emmanuel
Macron, by his deafening silence on the situation in Afrin, has abandoned them.
"It's a 180-degree turn from France's former position on Syria," he said, adding
that former left-wing president François Hollande had been "a lot braver" than
Mr Macron.
He added: "France is reluctant to openly condemn Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan,
despite the fact he has violated international law and his commitments towards Nato [by launching
a ground invasion in Syria], of which Turkey is still a member."
In January, Turkey launched its "Operation Olive Branch" military offensive against Kurdish
fighters in the rebel-held enclave of Afrin to "protect" its border.
Some 250,000 civilians have since fled the violence there, while dozens have been killed,
as well as around 1,500 Kurdish fighters.

Best of Shark Tank TV
Shark Tank $10 Million Business Valuation With Over $2 Million In Sales - Best Of Shark Tank TV
hey sharks I'm hunter and I'm Alex we're from Las Vegas Nevada our company
is barbell apparel and we're seeking $500,000 for 5% of our business while
redefining clothing for athletic body types hunter I grew up living an active
lifestyle we played sports when he lived it ways we're doing anything to get us
some really great outdoors but as you can imagine with a bootie like this and
thighs like that we could never find clothing the fit so we decided to create
a line of athletic fit denim chinos and shorts tailored to fit muscular legs
using high-tech fabrics military-grade stitching and if it's tailored for
active bodies our clothing will keep you moving in 360 degree comfort no matter
what your day throws at you Alex let's show these sharks what you've
got the normal jeans I can barely sit down with our jeans are no limit
who want clothing that can move like that athletes work hard for their strong
meaty thighs and want to be proud of them our clothing keeps them comfortable
moving freely and most importantly feeling great about themselves so sharks
who wants to take a chance with our pants we have to pass out and we're
happy to answer any questions no you answer the question about why you're
worth 10 million dollars Wow we're going right there oh I guarantee what's coming
up yeah yeah is this a lot of lycra
yeah it's 1% spandex all right Kevin what was your question it's very very
simple you better have a ton of scale to justify this valuation in the clothing
industry what I want to just get to this really can we talk about sales Daymond
because we don't have a 32-inch waist dirty romance
yeah okay let's Kevin ask your question tell me what your sales are gonna be
this year 2.3 million 2.1 million yes and you think you're worth five times
revenue that's not the real question the real question is what's your growth rate
our growth rate currently is around 100 percent per year so you expect to do 3.4
million give or take next year yeah 3 to 4 mil where where are the clothes being
sold under sin online where have you done these sales so we founded on
Kickstarter in March of 2014 and so I married my wife in spring of 2014 and
because the business was struggling we were on our honeymoon and I was staying
at a friend's house because we didn't have money for a hotel and I was late
night on the laptop finishing up the details and we had a goal of $15,000 and
I was just hoping we would meet our goal over the 45 day campaign and I went to
bed that night and I woke up and there was already $80,000 fun good for you 80
yeah I don't hit our goal in in 40 minutes have to admit I thought every
niche of the denim market was covered yeah I have never heard of this I really
applaud that that first Kickstarter by the way went on to find over seven
hundred and thirty five thousand what you did seven hundred and thirty five
minutes yeah five on a percentage basis I'm
going to assume that a healthy denim company can make 15% pre-tax right our
margins are a little bit better our gross profit on last year's 1.1 million
was around 700,000 what do you think he'll do on this year's two point three
our gross should be around one point five is that after you've paid
yourselves um no but we a but let some guys investor has to know you're getting
paid and all the employees if you normalized all that what are you gonna
make free cash flow for this year should be around half a million dollars good
for you do we ever ask how much the jeans are
they retail for 149 that's a bedroom what's your cost for it's may 15 20
bucks oh wow you have a problem with inventory we do yeah a bad one the
problem is that we sell the stuff so fast
we don't have the cash to buy a couple quarters interview kind of ease it up
and correct that's why we're here because we need a shark to help us get
over our inventory hurdles so we can get ahead of the curve and actually there's
like I know this business pretty well it's a management of inventory business
it's very very tough and it sucks cash like there is no tomorrow now I'm not
saying you you said it brother yeah I'm not saying you can't fix it but
at a 10 million valuation starting as an investor I mean you guys are from Vegas
you're asking me to roll the dice and I like the gamble but under this valuation
it's too big a risk right we can tell you what you're worth today what you get
in the private equity market valuation I'm sure you're gonna tell us
thank goodness I'm here I think if you could actually get a private equity firm
to invest free money at five million you're a rock star I don't think you
could but if you could that would be the max I said we are like I said we're good
at what we do but we we know the value you guys bring and oh yeah let me tell
you what I think about it I have 15 clothing brands right and twelve of them
a day the reason why I still invest in apparel businesses they have to have a
couple of right eery I want it to be somewhere in the sports and athleticism
but not denim I wanted to be somebody who has to buy a new pair of shoes every
three months or they've been doing yoga and they have to buy a new new pair of
spandex every three months denim the more damage it gets the cooler in it
right so you don't get to resell that type of stuff in in my world yeah the
last thing I want to do right now with denim climb up guys I just want to point
out on an after-tax basis for clothing company you're asking 30 times yeah but
never going as fast as they are yeah but that is an extraordinary multiple is
that it's not the multiple that's the issue with me guys the issue is it's
hard to create barriers to entry the minute someone says dang but barbell is
killing it I love their clothes but I can't get them then that creates
opportunity for somebody else I'm not saying you're not gonna be successful
looked 99.99% of entrepreneurs in this world if you told them they could have
five hundred thousand net cash flow after paying themselves would cut off
their hand to get it so you guys are doing amazing things the question is how
you overcome not being able to protect it I'm out
thank you appreciate your time and congratulations I give you serious props
for what you've done getting into this industry as hard as can be and you guys
actually created something new where I think there's a bit of anything new in
forever but I can't see where this would be an investment that's right for me
it's like out but like I said serious props to you guys thank you very thank
you what guys um dammit three scares me if I was ever
gonna get into jeans ooh good to know I'll tell you this before you go any
further is that we are we are good at inventory production I know what I'm
gonna sell I just need to be able to buy it and we have great manufacturing terms
we're really good at sourcing and we can get our lead times down as low as six
weeks down there I can't get there it's just more inventory more money you guys
great operators that's a that's the greatest compliment I can give somebody
as an entrepreneur inventory scares me I'm out I understand good so guys you
know can downplay or even suggest you guys haven't done a phenomenal job it's
such a brutally competitive space I mean that's what it is
but this thing's gonna win hail cash it's yeah that's like the situation for
Excel cash - without with our margins it's gonna be one of the best
investments well but it will inhale cash as every clothing industry does as
Marcelo exhale cash - it's a very difficult deal I'm gonna pass I'm out
I think the lesson and we've all learned it together here today this is not Las
Vegas 500 thousands of ton of money had you asked for less I'm probably walking
out with a shark
good luck well thank you guys very much we appreciate you guys
it was very frustrating to hear that the Sharks say that they want to do the best
but get super hung up on these money you know because there's it's not actually
that much money especially when we're like at a 2.3 million run right well
that's that's the lesson people come in here with these huge numbers you know
why risk half a million bucks in an industry that it's just full of dead
balls even big brands made rather die
