I feel like I've started a lot of videos this year
with the phrase I'm a big fan of smart tech.
And it's true.
I like controlling various devices in my home
using my smart phone or voice control.
But hold up.
I was in the Apple store the other day
and I came across this.
This is the Colgate Connect E One.
Now you're probably wondering,
what is a toothbrush doing in the Apple store?
Well, it was in the smart phone section
because this is a smart electric toothbrush
with artificial intelligence built in.
It aims to use technology
to improve your dental hygiene
with its companion iOS app.
Now coincidentally, after I saw it,
Colgate reached out and said they wanted to send one over
for me to check out.
So, let's jump into it.

As I mentioned today, we are taking a look
at a smart electric toothbrush
that has AI built in.
This is the Colgate Connect E One.
Now if you go into the dental hygiene area
of your favorite store,
whether it's an electronics store or a pharmacy, et cetera,
you're gonna see a bunch of different things
to take care of your teeth.
You got your water flossers,
you got your regular floss,
you've got your mouthwash,
you've got the toothpaste,
you got all sorts of stuff, whitening,
all this, but the one thing people don't do
as well as they should out of everything
is brush your teeth.
Now hold on I know a lot of you out there,
what are you talking about?
I don't brush my teeth,
I brush my teeth very well, thank you.
I'm not saying you don't brush your teeth.
I'm saying we learn to brush our teeth as children
and then we just pretty much continue to brush our teeth
the way we learned to do it as children.
That may not be the best way or the best method
of taking care of your teeth.
And listen, I felt the same way when I learned that fact
and I actually learned that fact a few years ago.
So when I went to the dentist, I said,
"Hey I need, I want you to show me,
"what is the proper way to brush your teeth?
"Because I feel like I brush my teeth the right way,
but I hear people don't do it properly."
So, they showed me, and I've been brushing,
it's a little bit of a tweak but I've been
brushing my teeth that way ever since.
Have no problems.
Now according to a study Colgate conducted
users miss over 40% of the surfaces of their teeth
prior to using the Connect E One.
All right, now before we get to testing this guy out,
it is time to open it up.
Inside the box as you can see here you will find
the Colgate Connect E One toothbrush itself.
You get an extra brush head
and the charging base.
The smart toothbrush maps out your mouth as you brush
and it keeps track of exactly where you brushed
and it will even provide feedback on what you missed
and how you can improve your brushing score.
All this information is available right in the app,
which connects to your toothbrush over Bluetooth.
If you connect to the app while you're brushing,
the app will even provide real time feedback
so you can make sure you hit every spot.
The app gives you an overview of your weekly average stats
based on duration, frequency and surface coverage.
You can tap on each item to get a detailed graph
and make sure you're on track with your brushing.
And what's more, you can even share your results
with your dentist to make your appointments
that much more effective and you can even opt-in
to Apple research kit integration,
which lets you share your brushing data anonymously
to help oral health researchers improve their products.
So obviously the app makes brushing a little more immersive
and a little more fun, especially for kids.
But what's even cooler is there is also a companion
Apple watch app as well,
so you do not need to have your phone out
while you're brushing your teeth.
I just mentioned kids,
the Colgate Connect E One is also very kid-friendly.
It features games in the app that'll motivate kids
to brush better and collect coins
based on their brushing habits.
The family mode also allows you to track the entire family,
so the whole group can keep up and compete with each other.
The app also keeps track of when you brush your teeth,
perfect for keeping the kids on track
and reminding them to brush twice a day.
The Connect E One has everything you need
to track and receive feedback on your brushing,
but it's also an amazing toothbrush on its own.
It uses sonic vibrations to provide the best clean
and the small rounded head is able to fit into any
spot of your mouth.
The brush has a 10 day battery life
so if you go on a trip that's shorter than that
there's no need to take your charger with you.
And if you do run out of juice,
it takes about 12 hours to go from an empty battery
back to fully charged.
The brush heads are easily replaceable
and you can buy replacement heads in packs of three
for about 19 bucks.
So went back to my whole love of smart home tech,
even my toothbrush now is smart enough to connect
to my smartphone, to connect to my smart watch
and give me feedback on how well I'm brushing my teeth,
which may not sound like a big deal,
but oral hygiene is a part of health
and when tech isn't just cool but actually helps
keep us healthier and more fit,
I am a huge fan of that.

Storytelling
Ramiro's grandfather was in charge of a very old library
that was in the middle of the forest.
One day, Ramiro accompanied his grandfather
and took with him his friend the little red fish
It was the first time the child entered the library
and he was dazzled by those huge rooms
full of books.
He looked at each and every one of the shelves and he did not leave
unexplored not a single corner.
He soon fell exhausted by fatigue
and then he fell asleep.
When he opened his eyes,
everything was dark and silent.
Scared and lonely,
Ramiro sat on the floor
and in the light of the moon,
He began to read a book to his little fish.
But when he looked up ...
the fish had disappeared.
Ramiro looked for his fish on the shelves
and rooms in the library,
until he saw something small and red
who was piling up there, between some books
and he went to look.
When he was about to catch him,
that disappeared again
Near an old book covered in dust.
Would it be the tail of his fish that showed between the pages?
Ramiro picked up the book and, opening it ...
Something extraordinary happened.
Thousands of red fish left the book with a great wave.
All the fish looked the same.
What would be his?
Ramiro realized that his fish was there hidden.
He bent down to try to reach him
but, when trying, he fell
and it did not stop falling
to sink between the pages of the book.
He began to run inside the pages from the book,
and he grabbed one of the legs of a swan who was flying,
and started flying with him.
In the middle of the sea,
he saw his little fish jumping among the waves,
and Ramiro let go of the swan to recover to his red fish.
He fell into the water, and at the time of grabbing to the fish,
He left the book he was in.
Ramiro opened his hands
and he saw his little red fish looking at the eyes
With great care he put it back into the fishbowl.
Then he placed the book on the shelf
and he went home with his red fish in the fish tank,
whispering that very soon
They would go back to the library together.

That's the most depressing question you can have.
Depressed people, deeply depressed people,
they always ask,
"Why?"
It's a poison question, "Why I cannot sleep?"
"Why it's happening to me?"
"Why I don't feel good?"
All "why's"
are poison.
The good question,
"Am I happy?"
Am I.
This is, "Am I,"
it's completely different.
"Why?"
pushes your brain to
question, to think more.
"Why? WHY?"
But when you ask, "Am I?"
suddenly the brain
says, "What? I cannot answer that!"
And then you can feel, suddenly,
feel.
Because thinking
can never bring happiness,
never.
But when you feel,
it naturally comes.
So when you have a big down,
when you feel, "Life is terrible, I need some alcohol
a need a drug,
I need a sleeping pill, I need..."
You say,
"Am I so unhappy?"
And you look outside,
beautiful trees,
or people walking in the street if there're no trees,
or buildings,
even a factory...
You look,
and you ask,
"Am I so unhappy?"
Then, that brings you 'now',
because it's the present.
"Am I
so unhappy?"
"Am I
happy?"
And the answer is, "I am"
I am.
When you... just when you say these two magical words,
"I am,"
you feel,
you feel now,
here.
But if you ask why,
you talk to the past.
Why, meaning, "What created this
bad feeling?"
So, you travel in the past.
Do you understand the difference?
"Why?" automatically
you can travel, "Ah it's because
ten years ago I had this problem..."
and you quit the present.
You leave the present.
"Ah, it's because yesterday,
somebody told me this thing and it affected me..."
You are not now.
"Ah, it's because, when I was a child
my father was terrible with me."
"Why?" always brings you in the past.
So this word, you must
completely remove it from your vocabulary
for being,
for happiness.
You can use it for science,
for research, for...
that's very different.
But not for happiness.
Happiness
cannot fit together with "why?"
"Why I cannot sleep?"
You cannot sleep.
"Why I cannot have an orgasm?"
You cannot have an orgasm.
It's the same.
"Why I cannot feel meditation?"
No meditation.
Because "why?" is thinking,
and thinking is always
'past',
always!
And, depressed people,
always try to find a new reason,
a new explanation, and
sometimes, for hours and hours, repeat the same thing.
They always have the illusion
that by thinking
more and more about their depression,
they will find
the real reason,
"Ah, maybe I miss some vitamin."
"Maybe I miss some nutriments."
A lot of people are making money with that...
"Ah, you are depressed because you don't have enough magnesium."
"Not enough vitamin C."
"Ah, your body is too much acidic..."
and all this bullshit you find on the internet.
The only thing which makes you depressed
is, "why?"
You have everything you need in the food,
in vegetables, meat,
eggs.
If you eat normal food
there is everything, there is no need for extra vitamins.
The Elohim didn't create us to eat pills
or supplements.
Elohim created us,
and vegetables, and fruits, and
animals, with everything inside.
You have everything you need in food
but, by
trying to find something missing, "why? why?"
and then another "why?"
and people are unhappy forever.
If you stop asking "why?"
you are 'now'.
If you have an orgasm,
you don't ask why.
For those who are lucky enough to really have a great orgasm,
you don't want to know why.
Eh? Can you imagine,
"Ah, ah... why?"
So stupid!
And it stops immediately, eh?
You just feel, and enjoy, and fly...
The same when you fall asleep,
when the brainwaves go down, at the limit, there is a
beginning of sleep, that if you are very
conscious, you can feel,
you can feel that you are falling asleep.
If you ask, "Why?"
Finish!
It's finished!
When you do meditation,

you listen,
you feel, and if you say, "Why?"
It's finished! Forget it!
Don't waste your time meditating if you ask why.
Happiness,
no "why."
You feel
and you enjoy.
So, if you feel
not perfectly happy now,
you are thinking.
If you stop thinking,
right now!
Right now,
on your chair,
in front of me,
far or near...
if you feel,
now,
it's the most happy time of all your life.
Why?
No!
No "why?" Just feel it!
Just feel it!
But the brain always, automatically, "Why he says that?"
"Why now is better than before?"
It's not better than before because you ask why.
Try, for one, just one time,
'now'
exactly now.
When I will move my finger down,
it will be the
most happy, the happiest,
moment of you entire life!

Don't ask "why?"
If not you will say, "Oh, that was funny." No!

two,
now!
Feel it,
right now,
it's the happiest moment of my life.
It can be for you also,
if you stop asking "why?"

If some people among you are experiencing depression,
you remember
when you wake up,
because you sleep a little bit.
Every morning, very depressed people
they wake up,
for a few seconds
they say, "Ah, wow, I feel good."
"My depression is finished,"
and then,
they get up, and it starts.
Why they feel so good when they wake up?
Because when they sleep
it's the only time when they stop thinking.
So suddenly the brain can rest a little bit,
and they wake up and say, "Wow,
finished, no more depression!"
"Tonight, I will not need sleeping pills,
I don't need medicine."
For one minute, two minutes, they are like that.
Only because during the
four, five, or six hours they could sleep
the brain didn't have, "why?"
So "why?" is a poison,
in everything you do in life.
'Feel' is a treasure.
"Why infinity?"
"Why Elohim?"
Why am I alive?
So, it's poison, everywhere.
Feel.
I am alive,
I don't want to know why.
I am happy,
I don't want to know why.
If I try to know why, I lose my happiness!
I have a beautiful orgasm with a sexy partner,
I don't want to know why.
You are in love with somebody,
the most stupid question,
"Why you love me?"
If a girl tells me, "Why you love me?"
My answer is, "No, I don't anymore!"
"Why?"
"Because you ask why?"
You love,
don't try to understand why.

depressed people will say, "Why do you love life?"
There is no reason to love life,
there is no reason to be happy.

if you need a reason to smile,
you don't smile.
"Why are you smiling?"
People told you sometimes, "Why are you smiling?"
"For no reason."
"Why are you laughing?"
"For no reason."
They want a reason, because they say, "Why?"
"Why?"
"Why the Elohim created life on Earth?"
I don't want to know.
I'm happy,
the Earth is beautiful,
you are beautiful,
we are happy together,
because we don't ask "why?"
Happiness is in your life,
in the infinite successions of now.
You feel,
when I say, "One, two, three, now is the most beautiful time of your life,"
for one second,
but
don't stop after one second,
next second also,
and the next second also,
no need to stop.
If you stop it's because suddenly you ask, "Why?"
You stay happy in an infinite succession of 'now'.
In happiness
there is no past
and no future,
there is only now.
If there is only now,
now is eternal.

Do you feel that?

this happiness for just one second...

for the first time, why are you stopping?
Continue, stay like that!
It's just, keep this feeling,
slowly,
kindly,
and laughing,
because this happiness makes you laugh.
You cannot laugh and ask, "Why?"
You know, some people, I'm sure everybody experienced what we call
a "fou rire" (giggles) in French, crazy laughing.
You know, when you start laughing, and
and you cannot stop,
and you cry, and
you want to say something, and you want to stop,
but you cannot speak,
and you cannot stop, eh? That's a good feeling.
You cannot talk.
Why?
Because you cannot think!
You cannot think, the laughing is so big, that...
and you say, "I'm not, I need to calm down."
And no, you continue to laugh!
This is one of the most beautiful things which can happen to you,
like the Buddha,
laughing,
you cannot think and laugh.
If something makes you laugh,
you cannot say, "Ah, this is funny."
"I will laugh about it tomorrow morning."
Impossible.
It's now, or never.
Orgasm also.
"Oh, good orgasm. No, tomorrow I will have it."
Good meditation,
"Wow, no, I will stop. I will do it tomorrow."
No. Now!
In the eternal now.
One question,
do you feel
eternity?
Do you feel it more now than
ten minutes before?
When you feel infinity,
you feel it all the time.
And infinity is love.
When you feel love,
you feel it eternally.
When you feel compassion,
real compassion,
the feeling to laugh
and to make everybody laugh,
you feel it eternally.
You want to make all the planet laugh,
that's our mission.
That's more important than
spreading the Message of the Elohim.
Because that's the only way to save humanity.
Meditate one minute for peace,
that's not serious.
I see sometimes Raelians, they meditate one minute for peace.
Laugh!
You will attract more people to meditate with you.
They will come to you and say, "Why are you laughing?"
They ask, "Why?" You say,
"Because I'm not asking why."
"Because I am peace,
I am love,
I am infinity.
Because I want everybody on Earth to be peaceful
full of love and compassion for
everything alive on Earth.
And this is now.
Feel the now inside you.
Touch your heart
Do you feel it beating?
Feel it. If you cannot feel it
touch the neck,
or here, anyplace you can feel the heartbeat.
You should be able to feel it everywhere.
So now,
what is the most important heartbeat of your life?
The one, one year ago?
The first one when you were a baby?
The last one the day you will die?
What is the most important heart beat of your life?
Now, of course, if it stops it's finished!
No more images,
no more sound,
finish.
So, the heart is more intelligent than you.
Think about your heart, feel it.
Don't think!
Always feel you heart.
And when you are not happy
the heart is wondering, "Why am I beating?"
Depressed people always say, "Why am I alive?"
Why am I breathing?
They ask why.
And they kill themselves.
If they stop asking why,
feel you heart beat,
magic,
it never stops.
If it stops,
finish.
You are breathing,
you don't need to think about breathing.
When you sleep
you don't say,
"I must breath."
No.
Your natural intelligence, natural order,
takes care of it.
You don't think about breathing.
You don't think about your heart beat,
you don't say, "Oh wait a minute, you need to beat now!"
Naturally.
Your digestion. You had breakfast this morning, it's
now, there is a big factory
digesting everything you ate.
You don't think about it.
You don't say, "Hey, please, stomach, extract the vitamins,
put the magnesium there."
No!
It doesn't require thinking,
it's automatic.
It's the same for happiness.
Don't think about it, let it happen,
let it rain on you,
let it flow,
let it be.
"Let it be, let it beeee..."
Beautiful song, "Let it be."
It's natural,
you are born to be happy.
And when you lose your happiness
you think.
Thinking is a poison,
it's what creates wars, Fukushima,
depression,
diseases,
cancers,
everything.
Just be,
be in the now.
Now, I will give you a little tip
to avoid
losing this happiness.
People are so desperate to be happy that
they use alcohol.
What happens when you drink a lot of alcohol?
Eh? you stop thinking!
No thinking.
But, it's poison.
Or they use drugs. Some people shoot themselves with a drug,
immediately the brain stops thinking.
That's the goal of every drug.
That's why people become addicted to drugs
or alcohol,
or tobacco,
because, suddenly,
the brain stops thinking,
or thinks differently
and it feels good.
But if you feel 'now'
you don't need alcohol,
drugs,
medicine,
nothing.
You have everything inside you.
Just an example,
how, of how
tricky the brain is...
Some countries
like Mexico,
Korea,
love spicy food.
What happens when you eat spicy food?
I mean, really spicy food.
I went to Mexico one time,
there were 5 kinds of strength of 'spicy'.
Very strong,
strong,
normal,
a little strong and not strong.
I take "not strong at all,"
I taste it,
smoke coming out...
And all the Mexican Raelians,
they ate the strongest.
And they look at me and say, "Really?"
You are addicted to drugs.
What happens when you eat spicy food?
You damage your tongue,
you burn your cells on your tongue,
that's why Mexico,
Korea, and every country which eats very spicy food,
has the highest number of mouth cancer.
Irritation,
inflammation,
infection, cancer...
What happens when you burn?
Your brain doesn't want you to suffer,
so, the brain, immediately
creates a drug,
which is very similar to
heroine,
to stop the pain.
That this drug stops the pain,
but it makes you feel good.
That's why people are addicted to spicy food.
Many people were surprised when there is a car accident,
some people lose one arm,
and they have pain, but not so much.
They lose... the arm falls,
and they have pain, but ok.
And you touch a little bit the heater,
and wow! you scream like crazy,
because the body says, "Oh, it's just a little burn,
no need to send the drug."
Arm is cut,
this is a big pain,
drug is coming,
if not, you will die of pain.
And the same process when you eat spicy food,
which is very bad for you,
so the body wants to feel good
by creating drugs.
That's why you can be addicted to spicy food,
the same as you can be addicted to alcohol or to,
heroine, cocaine, tobacco...
So kimchi, soft kimchi please.
I try the kimchi, one time,
I cannot eat it.
Everything which burns
is bad for your health.
That's why it's burning!
Everything too hot...
Japanese people,
mouth cancer, a lot in Japan,
because they drink tea too hot.
And, for dessert,
ice cream,
very cold, which is burning also.
You know in winter, if you put your fingers in snow, long time,
very strong pain.
With ice cream you do the same on your tongue.
And the brain, creates the drug.
So be careful with the self generated drugs.
Never eat spicy,
never eat or drink
hot food, burning food.
I always wait,
meditation. You wait until it cools down, and you breath, and
you feel the now, you smell.
And the same, ice cream, I never eat ice cream.
I like ice cream, but I let it melt in my plate.
When it becomes
liquid, like a cream, then...
I don't want to burn my mouth.
So to feel the now,
you don't need any, anything.
This natural drug,
beautiful drug,
just balance
of feeling now,
is generated by the brain,
that's happiness.
And you can stay like that forever.
So, a little trick
to feel it more.
You all experience this
moment, very short moment of...
we call it 'enlightenment'.
Everybody explored it
at list one time in his life.
You can be looking at the sunrise,
listening to music,
looking at somebody...
You can be walking somewhere,
making music,
anything,
when suddenly you feel
one with everything,
and you, "Wow! Wow!"
You don't know why
and you don't ask why,
because if you ask why, you lose it.
Everybody,
at least one time.
For me it's before being
who I am now.
It happened four times in my life.
I was a little child
in the garden of my grandmother,
lying down on my back
and looking, in October,
before the swallows,
little birds, swallows...

Suzume? (sparrows)
Swallows,
Tsubame? (swallows)
Swallows, you know, the swallows,
there were hundreds of them.
They come together in October
before migrating
to the south,
turning
and singing,
and I felt one with
each of these birds.
I felt one with the Earth, with everything.
I was, maybe five years old,
that was the first time in my life.
The second time I was about fifteen, sixteen.
Maybe you had a similar experience,
lying down under a cherry tree
with many flowers,
and the petals, like sakura,
slowly falling,
and happiness was
unreal.
I was becoming the sky, the trees,
each petal falling.
And the third time I was in Madrid,
after the first encounter with the Elohim
giving a public speech.
An afternoon,
walking in the street of Madrid,
suddenly a poem
came,
and I was
talking and saying this poem,
which I made,
and, wow!
I was
in space...
And there was the fourth time.
But,
what is important?
Everybody has this experience.
Remember when it was happening to you,
remember,
try to remember clearly,
you could have been a little child,
a little bit later, a little adult, it doesn't matter.
Remember this feeling,
it's different for everybody.
You probably had it
three, four, five times in your life,
you don't know why,
and you don't want to know why,
but remember the feeling.
Remember the feeling the first time,
the second time,
the third time,
the fourth time,
put them together,
and feel again
by mixing
the four or five feelings,
automatically
it comes back now.
It's magic,
if you feel it,
you feel the past experience.
You don't think about the past,
you feel again,
this is past experience. Put them together
and immediately,
like magic,
you have it again.
Do it,
it's magic.
Then, by doing it regularly,
you can keep
this enlightenment
forever.
Me, I'm with you now, talking,
but I'm with my little swallows
at the same time,
I'm making the poem in Madrid,
I'm under the cherry tree,
right now,
all mixed,
and that's why I can
be with you.
Do it.
You have a treasure in your memory.
Don't think about the past,
feel it.
Why not forever?
If you ask why,
you cannot.
If you feel,
they all come together,
because this is an infinity machine,

you limit it.
When you feel,
everything is together,

You can divide it how many times?
Infinitely!
Infinity in time,

millions of generations of people die and are born

"Wow, wait a minute."
"What is time?"
And in the giant being we are inside of,
during all your life,

The Republican-Controlled Government Has Shut Down 3 TIMES This Year - Duration: 3:34.
Well, ladies and gentlemen, for the third time in the last 12 months, the Republicans
have managed to shut down the federal government.
Once again.
Yes, we are now in our third government shut down since last January, and while this one
is a partial government shutdown, only about 25 percent of the federal government is currently
inactive.
Basically working without pay, which includes 400,000 federal workers.
At least we've got 75 percent functioning.
So I guess that's something.
And while we could talk about, you know, the squabbling, I guess over the border wall,
will they fund it?
Won't they funded?
Who knows?
Is it still a wall?
Is it steel slats with spikes on tops?
It's anybody's guess at this point.
The important thing to take away from this as the fact that the Republicans control all
three branches of government and for the third time in 12 months they've shut it down.
That is a failure of leadership.
That is a failure of the Republican Party.
This is not on the Democrats because they don't want to give funding for a border wall.
This is 100 percent on the Republican Party, and that's what people in this country need
to remember.
It's not about Democrats not wanting to give $5 billion for the wall.
They only want to give one point $3 million for border security, which would be used for
the wall.
So I don't know why they would even bother offering that, but nonetheless, this is a
Republican shut down and it's the third one we've had this year.
The federal government is poised to lose billions of dollars.
The economy is going to lose billions of dollars from the lack of activity.
National Parks are going to suffer over the next few days as people who are on vacation
and would probably love to see those areas are told that they are not allowed in because
the government is shut down.
Here's what's going to happen.
Uh, the Senate has to approve a deal.
Uh, that would include Donald Trump's border wall funding in order for the president to
sign it and reopened the federal government.
The Senate needs 60 votes.
In order to do that, they only have 51.
Republicans, you're not gonna find nine turncoat Democrats, uh, which I know is a surprising
thing to say, but you're not going to find nine who were willing to jump ship and go
to the Republicans.
And in the shutdown, what's more likely to happen is that the Republicans, the president
himself, is going to have to cave because in one week, Democrats take control of the
House of Representatives and at that point, whatever legislation the house has already
currently past, that does include the president's border.
Wall funding is going to be shot down.
It's going to be rewritten and it's not going to include a single dollar for the president's
border spikes or whatever you want to call them now.
So yeah, if they don't reopen the federal government sometime between now and this day
next week, basically, this could be a long road ahead.
We could see more areas of the government shut down as a result of this.
But at this point, the Democrats have to remain steadfast, and more importantly, they have
to continuously remind the American public that the Republican controlled government
all three branches, even though the judiciary didn't have anything to do with this.
They control all three branches and that is exactly how many times they've also shut down
the federal government this year because the Republican Party is completely dysfunctional.

hands-on travelling tips. So during the last days Jonas and Jonas were traveling
a lot we've been to Hong Kong coming from Saigon and as you know I travel a
lot or basically all year and here in this video I'm gonna share some of the
best travelling tips that make traveling easier and more fun.
It's a huge city and when I came there I thought it's gonna be really crazy and really weird
but actually Tokyo is one of my favorite places in entire Asia and the reason for
that is people are really polite, it's really developed, its really wealthy and
a lot of things make sense in Tokyo and a lot of things are really nice. For
example and really smart for example during the day there are almost no
constructions in the entire city so what happens is they just do the
constructions during night so it's still quite early and they just start building
this place and then they work for five six seven hours and then they would you
know basically erase everything and clean up everything and then during the
day there is no work because it's a big street
and so all the traffic encode normally and then they would you know next night
they would start filling up everything again and start from scratch
another thing that was really interested in Tokyo is the subway I mean this
really famous and you know probably these videos were you know there are
guards that push people inside the subway because it's too crowded
and one thing besides being very crowded that I realized in Tokyo is that
everybody is constantly looking on their phone all the time so when you go to the
subway in Tokyo all the time you see people looking at their phone hey guys
this is actually one of the most famous crossing in the world if not the most
famous one and it's just like when the traffic light is nice turn green
everybody starts walking there's thousands of people who feels like
thousands of people's lives let's start walking all over this all over the
streets
what we did is we met two friends one of them was named Jonas as well so we were
actually are three Jonas says John is the first Jonas the second and Jones the
third so we actually three Jonas is here the Jonas Brothers are complete and then
there's tell me again what's your business about Phillip well I try to
build Instagram accounts I'm building Instagram accounts and community
building and everything okay so it's content marketing and branding a content
marketing content and transmedia brand marketing and brand marketing as well
that's the main topics I'm awesome and the really great life back here is that
you travel somewhere you should also meet locals or as you can imagine
Phillip and Jonas are not real Japanese
but they're living here for a while already and now they give us all the

travel is the first night we try to meet some friends that we have there or you

traveling so if you're a digital nomad if you're working online from your
computer this one is very important and this is that if you book an air B&B if
you book a hotel you should check the Wi-Fi speed beforehand and this is
really important because believe me nothing is more annoying than having
really slow internet if you want to work so we are here in Taiwan now behind
meters look us one of my mentors and we're working all day here and what we
did before we booked this accommodation was obviously tell them hey please send
us a screenshot of speedtest.net that's an app it's for free you can just in
check the Wi-Fi speed and we wanted them to confirm that the Wi-Fi is good
because otherwise we never book accommodation or hotel if we don't know
that we have good Wi-Fi to work properly and then one more thing that helped me a
lot is that you know I used to travel all the time I used to travel from place
to place to place and I didn't you know like I was just moving to the next
person to the next place and this was really exhausting it was not very
efficient and it gave me a big headache and what I'm doing now is I have one
base right now this is Saigon and then I do
short-term travel so we'll go I live and say go and I go one week to Taiwan and
then back to Saigon or I will go one week to meet this client or team member
or whatever and then always go back to my home base and this is very very
helpful because this way you can still travel but
you can create healthy habits, you have your routine, you have your familiar
environment and you don't have to adjust to a new place all the time.
So trust me if you plan to travel a lot, if you want to live this digital nomad
lifestyle, one thing that's very important is don't travel all the time
because it's really not sustainable rather choose one home base and then do
short term travels and always return to your home base. If you have any travel
