Welcome to Inform Overload, Im your host Johnny Rogers and if youre new to the channel, we
find the most interesting news stories on the internet and we make them more entertaining
Yes it was a comedy skit between Lilly Singh and Dr. Phil, but in between takes we got
to see Dr. Phil giving an honest opinion to Lilly.
He points out the reason why Lilly is single is that she has these moments where she breaks
into different characters.
In his words he actually said to her - you dont get taken home much do you.
Referring to her behaviour behind the scenes being the opposite of what she should do if
looking for someone to date at a club.
Which also exposes the fact that Dr. Phil hasnt been in a club for a long time.
You dont find love in a club folks.
In the comedy sketch portion he points out that when Lilly disagrees with people she
deals with it by becoming them and then controlling the narrative.
This really helps us understand the mindset of Lilly when she chose to take a break from
her channel only to come back guns blazing when Forbes released that article of the top
earners for YouTube.
I wont go over that again because we did a video on that specifically, but we see her
changing the narrative from victim to superwoman the moment shes called out by YouTuber Angelika
Oles.
Angelika posted a video about Lillys road to irrelevancy where she called superwoman
out for gaining subscribers from being publicly upset about not being on the list.

To which Lilly made a response video where she rifles off her credits and why shes relevant.
Thus changing the narrative from be sad for me because im irrelevant to then flipping
the script to say that shes more relevant than ever.
WHICH IS IT.
This isnt a schrodinger's cat situation, youre either relevant or irrelevant and currently
if you look at most peoples YouTube channels everyone is talking about her, so Id say shes
going to be just fine.
Money wise i should add, as for her mental health I think she should have taken a bit
more time off.

How to patch a cut with repair tape - Bounce House Tutorial - Duration: 2:03.
Today, I'm going to be showing you how to patch a cut in your inflatable.
You can see right here the vinyl has been cut open so that there is a hole forming and
you want to prevent this from being a problem in the future.
A good solution to this is our vinyl repair tape because it's clear and elastic and designed
to adhere to vinyl.
You can see I've already cut a strip of repair tape that is the right size for this repair.
We do sell this repair tape in different sized rolls as well as different sized patches on
the website depending on your needs.
I'm going to start by rounding off the edges of this repair tape.
This just helps prevent the tape from peeling after you apply it.
Now that the edges are rounded off, we're going to start by applying the tape by peeling
off one edge of the paper.
This is very similar to how you would apply, say, a vinyl decal on your car.
You're going to just peel off just the edge of the tape and fold back the paper so that
a little bit of the tape is exposed.
I'm going to line it up with our tear how I want the patch to lay.
And then you're just going to anchor down the patch by letting that exposed area of
the tape stick to the vinyl.
Now that we have it anchored, the rest of the patch will go where we want it when we
start to peel it off.
So I'm going to take that paper and start to pull it and at the same time my hand is
resting on the tape and pushing as the paper is pulling to keep the tape flat and keep
any air bubbles from forming on the inside.
Ok, now our patch is completely applied.
You can see now that is is completely covered over the tear and even as I pull this piece
of vinyl apart the elastic tape is very stretchy and flexible and moves with the vinyl so that
it stays adhered to the vinyl and keeps that tear closed off and it doesn't become a larger
issue.

Channel migrant crisis declared a 'major incident' as almost 100 people detained - News Live - Duration: 3:22.
The Home Secretary today declared a "major incident" as the number of desperate migrants intercepted in the English Channel hit almost 100 since Christmas Day.
Sajid Javid cut short his holiday as campaigners warned it was only a matter of time before people die in a mass tragedy in the cold, choppy waters between Dover and Calais - the world's busiest shipping lane.
Two inflatable boats carrying 12 men from Syria and Iran were intercepted this morning, adding to 82 people detained since Christmas Day.
Border Force officials brought the men to shore at Dover and handed them over to immigration officials to be interviewed.
Mr Javid took control of the response and requested an urgent call with France amid "concern that it is only a matter of time before people lose their lives".
But he stopped short of meeting demands to supply another Border Force boat to patrol the Channel. Instead he requested "detailed options", including "whether this is likely to encourage more people to try and make the crossing rather than act as a deterrence."
According to reports, just one Border Force cutter is patrolling the chilly waters of the Channel.
Mr Javid has held a conference call with Border Force officials, Immigration Enforcement and the National Crime Agency.
The department said: "He has insisted the Home Office treat the situation as a major incident and has appointed a Gold Commander and asked for daily updates.
"The Home Secretary has also asked for an urgent call with his French counterpart over the weekend to reaffirm the continuing need for the UK and France to work closely together to tackle the problem.
"He has also commissioned detailed options from Border Force about the provision of additional vessels in the Channel, including another Border Force cutter, and whether this is likely to encourage more people to try and make the crossing rather than act as a deterrence."
Campaigners earlier sounded the alarm after it emerged 82 migrants have been detained crossing the Channel since Christmas Day.
Andy Roberts, a former coastguard officer, told The Times: "It's just a matter of time before there's a tragedy.
"We won't be rescuing people out there - we'll be picking up bodies."
Dover MP Charlie Elphicke - who will on Saturday meet the Immigration Minister Caroline Nokes in Dover - called for "deeds, not words".
He added: "The Home Office need to take this problem more seriously and step up resources along the Kent coast - with more cutters and patrol craft."
But David Wood, a former immigration chief, told The Telegraph desperate families should be turned away to avoid incentivising people smugglers and causing a tragedy.
Yvette Cooper, chair of the Commons Home Affairs Committee, said: "For families and children to end up in small boats in the Channel in the middle of winter is incredibly dangerous.
"There is a real risk of tragedy if urgent action isn't taken. People smuggler gangs offering these precarious journeys for profit are putting lives at risk."

So Donald Trump's visit to the troops in Iraq in Germany is still drawing headlines and
one of the biggest headlines other than the fact that he likely broke the law by signing
those mega hats for them, actually, they, the soldiers inadvertently broke the law by
engaging in that political activity of having the president sign his merchandise.
Uh, the, the biggest headline is the fact that he lied to their faces while he was speaking
to them.
You see, Donald Trump told the troops over there that they hadn't gotten a pay raise
and over a decade, not a dime in extra money.
And then Donald Trump came along and he insisted that they get a 10 percent raise.
That's actually not just one lie, but that's two lies.
Um, here's, here's, here's what he said, you haven't gotten one in more than 10 years,
more than 10 years.
And we got to a big one.
I got you a big one.
They said, you know, we could make it smaller.
We could make it three percent.
We could make a two percent, we could make it four percent.
I said, no, make it 10 percent.
Make it more than 10 percent because it's been a long time.
It's been more than 10 years.
That's a long time and you know, you really put yourselves out there and you put your
lives out there.
So congratulations.
Those word for word right there.
What the president told the troops, every word of it was an absolute lie.
The troops in 2019, we'll be getting a pay raise of two point six percent.
In 2018.
They got a pay raise of two point four percent.
The years before that it was pretty much the exact same because the pay increases for the
military, which happen every single year without fail, are actually tied to the US Department
of Labor based on average wage increases for average American workers.
Because if they don't, if they start paying military members less than what they're paying,
just average working class stiffs here in America, nobody's going to want to join the
military.
Not only are you risking your life which making pennies doing it so they have to remain competitive.
Trump lied to them, and more importantly, they know that he lied to them because they
get a paycheck and you can see it for yourself.
Did your pay actually go up 10 percent this year?
If not, then you know this man is lying to your face and that's the thing.
This proves that there is nothing this man won't lie about.
Even though every single person in that room can go back, get a pay stub, hop onto their
bank statement online, whatever it is they do, and they can verify that he lied to them
in less than a minute.
The question is, do they care?
Do they realize it?
Do they think that 10 percent is coming next year?
I would like to think that they don't, that they know he was lying, but it's the president
of the United States, the commander and chief of the military, and they have to show them
respect and regardless of you think about the man meeting the president of the United
States is a pretty cool thing.
No matter who you are, what your political beliefs are.
They thought it was a good thing.
They didn't want to sit there and say, wait a minute, you're lying to us, and they don't
have to.
They don't need to.
That's what we have the media for.
And the media is actually done a pretty decent job of calling out Donald Trump's lies here.
Although they're not necessarily calling it a lie, you know, a half truth, uh, Miss, miss
spoken word, whatever it is, he lied to them.
He lied to them twice.
He lied to their faces, and every single person in that room listening to him knows that he
was lying to their faces.
