ESTE ES EL MAMBO! (MUSEO DE ARTE MODERNO DE BOGOTÁ) | SIMON GOMEZ - Duration: 8:44.Thanks a lot Bogotá
What should I do?
You have to do the video introduction
Hellz no
First you have to say the date
What is it today? May the 25th?
Thursday, may the 25th 2017
I´m with my friend Joel at...
Stop doing that hand gesture!
We're currently at the MAMBO (Museum of modern art of Bogotá)
There are 4 different exhibitions which we´re going to see, film, enjoy
Please don't take my picture
Last time I was here they made me put all of my stuff in a bag but they told me I could sue my camera
The entry fee is 7000 (2.4 usd) pesos with your student card
Without a student card.... there´s a lot of wind
Thanks a lot Bogotá
Without a student card the entry fee is 10,000 pesos (3.43 usd) So it is better to be a student...
We can go in already, thanks for waiting while I filmed
what do you think so far about the exhibits?
Like... snobbishly or for real?
For real
It is really interesting
The first floor is really cool
Really conceptual yet interesting
2nd floor gives a great point of view of France and as well from other places
Something gret also is the interactive part, it is really small but great for kids though
Check out this sapce, it is huge
It is not that expensive
It is one of the most expensive museums in Bogotá because it is a private museum
It is empty thoguh
More people should come
Come, its lit!
Bye MAMBO! You have treated us well
you were really cool
Now we're going to have a stroll through carrera septima (7th avenue) because we're going to show this young man's girlfriend
who by the way does not want to be shown
That's why I only show half of this human being
I'm going to show my hand, hello
Where´s the hand? Oh there it is
Quite interesting all tthat the MAMBO has to offer. Definitely a place to visit in Bogota
Now, septimazo
Septimazo!!!
We´re almost getting to Plaza de Bolívar. We´re going to head up to La Candelaria
So we can have a Santafereño cup of chocolate (traditional) at La Puerta Falsa a traditional sport for doing so
And that´s it, are you going to add something to the plan?
A little kiss for Simón
Thanks
How beautiful is Bogotá at this time
Plaza de Bolívar, filled with tourists and people feeding the pidgeons
The pidgeons are already conditioned so they think they're going to be fed
I wouldn't let a dove climb on me for anything in the world
ewww (Joking)
Now we're at Centro cultural Gabriel García Márquez and Fondo de cultura económica
We´re here for two reasons, first the views are stunning so we had to show this girl the views.
Last time she was in Bogotá was 10 years ago
And the second reason is because apparently there´s another photo exhibition here, I´m not really sure about it
We´re going tocheck it out and then we leave
You can go throguh here?
wow!
After this we can end the day
Indeed if there is a photographic exhibition here, it is from a Mexican artist
We´re going to check it out and leave
My friend here agreed to show herself on camera, well at least the top of her head
Thanks for joining me today fellas
I´m really glad we made it to this spot, Its really worth it
Those pictures were mind blowing
I know I didin´t say much about the exhibitions so the links will be in the description down below
That´s it for today

PERIOD VLOG DAY 4-6 | ProductReviews - Duration: 2:34.Okay.
Hi guys!
So today I'm doing another Period Vlog video.
This is day 4 to day 6.
If you haven't seen my previous videos please check them out.
So starting with Day 4, my flow was light.
I started off wearing a U By Kotex Click super tampon in the morning and I wore a Carefree
liner with it from 6am for about five and a half hours.
Then I put on a Playtex Sport regular tampon at around midday and I wore this for 6 hours.
At home in the evening, at around 6pm, I used another Playtex Sport regular tampon for 8
hours.
Then I changed into another Playtex Sport regular tampon and I wore that
for 8 hours aswell.
So moving onto Day 5, my flow has really tapered off at this point.
It's very light.
All I wore was a Carefree pantyliner for the day.
On day 6 it was also very light.
This is the last day of my period and I wore another Carefree pantyliner for the entire
day.
So that was my Period vlogs for the month of April.
If you haven't watched the rest of my period vlogs for the week check out my channel.
I'll also link it as a Playlist in the description box.
Let me know in the comments how many days your period lasts and thanks for watching!

A Few of My Fish for Sale (Local Pickup Only) - Duration: 2:32.I thought you guys might think is was cool to see a few of the fish that I'm about to
list for sale here locally.
I don't ship fish so I'm sorry in advance for that.
But if you're near central Ohio or willing to come here then let me know.
I'm actually about to make some changes to my breeding groups but I'll get into that
in a future video.
So first up is this dragonblood.
He's a little over 3 inches and he's from my breeding group, which if you didn't know
was a group that I got from Dee Koshy.
The father of this fish is amazing and as this guy gets bigger his entire body will
be pink.
Second is a Blue Neon.
He's 3 inches and a really nice fish that's showing great color at this size.
He's already starting to look a lot like my breeder male.
Next up is a Maleri Sunshine.
I actually didn't breed this guy.
He's also 3 inches and I have a slightly smaller male as well.
I bought these guys at an auction when they were tiny.
I was thinking about breeding them but decided not to.
Next is an albino ruby red.
I bought a group of these from someone here locally and two of the larger males are in
my display tank.
I've had this guy in a growout downstairs and he's looking really good.
Next up is a dragonblood that's actually not from my group.
This guy I bought unsexed and he's now at 3 inches.
I would be keeping him but I just have too many dragonbloods already.
He's got a nice purplish blue hue to his fins and face that I really like.
I do also have a few smaller unsexed fish that I'm selling, including a few venustus.
They're around 2 inches like this one and I think I have 4 or 5 of them.
And then finally I have a bunch of dragonbloods from my breeding group that are around and
inch.
I didn't want to move them to shoot the video but there are probably a couple dozen.
So I hope you liked seeing these guys.
I know it's not a type of video I've done before but I'm always trying to do different
things.
I hope you're all having a great weekend and I'll see you in the next one.

Ⓦ Channel Announcement/Checking In - Duration: 1:35.Hey, everyone, this is Daniel a.k.a. WolfieGGnS, letting everyone know that--no--I'm not dead.
However, I do have some things I'd like to talk about.
No, I'm not planning on quitting Youtube, at least not for the foreseeable future.
Don't worry, this isn't that sort of announcement.
But I have had this growing feeling over the past 3-4 years that I've basically hit a wall
with my channel.
Something in regards to the way I do things has to change.
The sorts of videos I'm doing now just don't feel as fun or rewarding anymore.
The changes Youtube has been making certainly haven't helped.
So, yeah, I might have a few more of those same-old walkthroughs in me, but don't be
surprised if I start trying out different kinds of content.
Speaking of Youtube concerns: I'm going to start mirroring my content on Vidme, just
to be on the safe side.
I'll put a link in the description below.
So, if anyone would like to, you know, go over an give my stuff some views/upvotes/etc.
y'know, wink wink, nudge nudge.
That'd be
most appreciated.
Or, if you're just getting tired of Youtube and want to join me on another platform.
Anyways, that's it for now.

Philippines Food for a Cause - Aunty's Secret CARROT RICE at Gawad Kalinga Village! - Duration: 13:37.- Hey everyone, it's Mark Wiens.
I am in Angat, in Bulacan,
which is about an hour and a half away drive from Manilla.
And today I have a very special video for you today.
Myself along with Ying and Mikah,
and also my good friend Anton,
and a couple of his boys.
We took a day trip from Manilla,
to this city,
and this is a village, a Gawad Kaling Village.
And Gawad Kaling is a social entrepreneurship
within the Philippines that is helping
the poorest of the poor in the Philippines
and not only, providing for them,
but also finding a sustainable way for many people
to live and to be,
to grow and to create businesses.
We're gonna have lunch here.
We're gonna meet some people
and just walk around,
and so I'm happy to visit
and also to share this video with you.
(upbeat music)
- We have 50 families that reside in this community.
- [Mark] Alright.
- The community actually started
the fourth year before the corn.
The community was built in 2008.
Is there are over 3000 communities all over
the Philippines.
- [Mark] Okay.
- Within that, this is the first farm.
Malaya.
She's one in biggest - Hi.
- Hi.
Welcome to the community.
Community.
I'm Malaya.
I'm Malaya. - Baby.
- I'm baby Malaya.
- Baby Malaya, nice to meet you,
baby Malaya.
- Welcome.
- Thank you.
- Baby Mikah is asleep.
So part of the aspect of the
whole enchanted farm
is the local,
the locals who live within the farm.
- Absolutely.
- So it's all self sustainable.
People live here,
people work here,
and develop creative ideas.
- So the biggest goal is to eradicate poverty
for five billion families by 2024.
And the first step,
In doing that
is to provide them with housing right.
But then these communities just give them a sense
of safety and security, right.
And now that do have solid rooftops over their head,
they can actually switch from survival mode
to thriving mode.
And the idea now,
is, yeah exactly,
to try to provide them with opportunities on the farm.
And now they can think about, you know,
earning a sustainable income,
saving money on the side,
and actually having plans for the future,
for their kids, right.
Just be more hopeful and optimistic about
what's coming next.
(upbeat tranquil music)
We have two of our Tita's here in the community.
This is Tita's friend now.
- Hello. - Hello.
- And Tita Sellion.
- [Mark] Nice to meet you.
- Hello. - Hello.
- Good morning!
Not good morning, good afternoon.
- Hi good morning,
well it's still morning,
we're good yeah.
It's a long morning, but yeah.
- [Mark] Oh I can immediately smell some delicious food.
Whoa!
- I have to put leek, you know?
- [Mark] Beautiful.
- This green onion.
Spring onion.
I will put that,
just like for the toppings.
- This is chicken curry.
- [Mark] Chicken curry, okay.
(foreign language)
- [Mark] This is carrot rice.
- [Woman] Yeah. - Okay.
- [Woman] I hope you like it.
- [Mark] It looks beautiful.
I already like it.
- Because the chefs are beautiful,
that's right.
- [Mark] Yeah the chefs are beautiful, yes!
(laughing)
Is curried rice a common Filipino food,
or you? - I just experiment.
I just started experimenting.
This is healthy,
and it is a balanced diet,
because it is a,
very they say, go, grow and glow.
So it comes only in my mind.
So the goal for this,
is sticky rice,
and then the grow for this is the eggs
and the coconut milk,
and then the glow for this, is the carrot.
That makes our - It'll make your
skin glows. - That makes our skin glow.
(laughing)
- Oh yes.
The aroma's coming out of this kitchen
are amazing.
I'm like,
I'm in a,
I'm in like a cloud of carrot rice right now,
and I'm loving it.
Thank you so much for allowing us in the kitchen.
Oh.
What are you making here?
- It's a coconut,
veggies.
- [Mark] Okay, vegetables with coconut.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
(meat sizzling)
- [Mark] Okay, are cooking one vegetable
and mixed vegetable dish with some squash,
some wong beans and eggplant in there
and then she mixed it with,
coconut milk as well.
And then also frying over here in this pan
is that mongoose,
the milk fish that was marinating as well.
Oh it smells so good.
My mouth is watering,
for lunch.
Can you say that one more time?
- OHGK.
- [Mark] It's called, the drink is called OHGK.
And it's a combination of
- Oregano, honey, ginger, and kalamansi.
- [Mark] Wow.
Okay, and you are the one who created this drink?
- Yes I actually have two partners.
Johnson and Angie.
So, both my classmates.
- [Mark] Okay and are you bottling,
it's being bottled now right?
- Yes, yes.
- [Mark] And sold?
- Yes.
Are being sold here in the farm
and trying to, sell to Manilla.
- [Mark] Thank you very much.
- It will be soon.
- [Mark] I can't wait to try it.
I got a cup of the OHGK now.
Oh wow.
Oh that's wonderful.
What really comes in nicely is the ginger,
that you can,
and then it's just perfectly soured.
That's extremely refreshing.
Oh the ginger taste is wonderful.
And the sweetness is coming from honey.
Okay.
Honey which is also from, the farm also?
- Here and the surrounding communities as well.
The next town, you'll see.
- Okay so they produce honey around here.
(baby talk)
(upbeat music)
- [Man] Would you like some more of the
vegetables as well?
- [Mark] Mikah look at all this food man.
But you can smell it all Mikah.
That food looks amazing.
Home cooked food.
Got the rice, got the vegetables.
How is it Anton?
- This is the best,
when it's a home cooked meal.
- [Mark] Yeah.
It looks so good.
I'm gonna start with those vegetables
and some of that carrot rice.
Oh I cannot wait for this first bite.
Oh yeah.
The rice is nice and gooey.
Like glutinous.
And then the vegetables are,
kinda creamy with that coconut milk,
but nice and soft.
I got a piece oqeur in that bite.
It's awesomely good.
- The vegetables are really good,
by itself.
- [Mark] All the vegetables are from this farm yeah.
I really wanna taste this Mongoose,
which has been marinated,
she said is some calamansi,
and also some soy and I think ginger and garlic.
Oh yes.
Mongoose is,
one of the best things to eat in the Phillippines,
and with some chili and this.
Break this chili.
Oh yeah.
With some of the rice.
Oh yeah.
Oh I love it.
Oh mongoose is,
such a good fish.
It's so pure.
It is,
kind of has that dryish texture
similar to tuna.
And also the chicken curry looks amazing
with carrots and potatoes.
Wow.
Mm.
Yeah, the curry is really good as well.
- [Man] But not as spicy as what we're used to.
- But it's very fragrant though.
- But you have to eat the labuyo.
The labuyo,
you have to eat the labuyo.
- What's the labuyo?
- That one.
- This one?
- It's a Filipino chili.
- I will chase it with
with labuyo, okay.
- Yeah.
- [Man] He ate the whole thing?
- Delicious.
(laughing)
- Her doctors.
- And all of a sudden as we're enjoying
this beautiful lunch,
it just started down pouring outside.
It was kind of humid this morning,
so I think the rain was coming.
Oh but that's so refreshing.
I love eating outdoors,
especially when it's raining.
It's wonderful.
(rain drowning out Anton)
- The vegetables.
Everything's good,
but the vegetables' amazing.
(upbeat music)
That was an amazing lunch.
Great delicious food,
and especially the
the generosity of the family was,
amazing.
It's still drizzling a little bit,
but we are walking around the farm
and seeing some of the social entrepreneurship projects.
(tranquil upbeat music)
One of the things that they really emphasize
at the GK villages throughout the Philippines
is that the Philippines is such a rich country
with full of natural resources.
And, they also really,
make efficient use of the land,
and so, at the GK village right now,
we're walking around some of the permaculture areas,
and I just wanna read you this sign here
where it says permaculture.
Means permanent agriculture on an agricultural system
or method that seeks to integrate human activity
with natural surroundings, so as to
create highly efficient self sustaining ecosystems.
And so,
you can see on this map which is actually,
this land right here, behind this sign,
they're gonna be producing,
there's gonna be a pond with tilapia,
bananas, gabi and
then around they're gonna have herbs like oregano,
kang kong, which is water spinach.
So it's a whole, it's an entire ecosystem
that really makes efficient use of the land.
And then along with people that are living
in this community and working on the farm
and growing the,
and taking care of the agriculture
and the permaculture,
there's also students that attend the school here
to learn about social entrepreneurship.
So it's a whole,
not only a.
Hello. - Hello.
- Hi.
An entire ecosystem that is self sustaining
and that is also profitable through the projects
that they are doing.
(cat meowing)
(tranquil upbeat music)
(rooster cawing)
Whoa.
Hey guy.
You can probably guess pretty easily,
but this is part of the chicken raising facility.
(rooster cawing)
Oh hello.
Whoa that's a huge chicken.
Oh the chicken farm,
the chicken range.
Here we go, here's the sign.
Check out the size of that rooster in there.
You're a huge guy man.
(rooster cawing)
Look at that rooster comb.
- I think we have about a thousand chickens.
We started one and a half years ago,
where we only had around three hens
that were able to you know do.
- [Mark] Now how many chickens do you have?
- About a thousand chickens.
- [Mark] About a thousand.
- The thing here is that,
I also came from bombi,
and three years ago I didn't know
how to speak any English.
- Thank you so much for showing us around.
- There's not a lot of social enterprises were open.
- No, it was really
for me
and I think for anyone visiting,
I think the whole project,
but also hearing the individual stories,
that really is touching,
and is what really empowering people that have
come from some of the most impoverished families
in the Philippines and then giving them
a chance here to do something,
and to, really be
to really use their skills.
- Yeah of course.
I mean our goal,
obviously it's one of these big hairy
outrageous goals to eradicate poverty
for five million families.
But again, obviously we will never do it on our own,
and we're quite aware of that.
But the whole idea is to try to,
inspire everyone right.
Be part of the spacial building movement.
And that's exactly what it is.
- It was really an amazing opportunity to visit.
Probably lunch was my absolute favorite.
And, all of that home cooking,
a big thank you to all of the Tita's.
But then also learning about the different stories
of the individuals that go to school
at the GK village,
and then also seeing the permaculture
and the farm,
was,
it's really fascinating.
I wanna say a big thank you to Anton.
- Alright, hello.
- Great trip.
And also thank you to the whole team
at GK and
all of the Tita's and Tito's that we met.
Thank you very much for watching this video,
please remember to give it a thumbs up
if you enjoyed it.
And, also I'd love to hear from you
in the comments sections below.
And also, if you're not already subscribed,

And, goodbye from all of us.
(children screaming)
Bye bye, thank you for watching.

Recording studio equipment tour - Rapalje Show episode 11 - Duration: 4:42.I will show you which equipment we use to record a track for our new album
'cause, Home is where my friends are
and you are all part of me
I'll leave you with this song
I'l come and I go, don't try to stop me
Home is where my friends are
And you are all part of me
I'll leave you with this song
I'll come and I go. Don't try to stop me now!
Hello. I'm Maceál from Rapalje
and this shirt is from Faun, another band from Germany
We know many bands from Germany because we perform a lot in Germany
Ok, let's start with a question from Esmee.
She saw a live stream we did on facebook
we performed a complete show online, for you
And Esmee had a question about it
Well if you want an answer to that question
I suggest that you watch the next episodes or the Rapalje Show
To see what's coming up. We'll keep you curious
I've got a question from JustConnectTeam and also have questions to you
Can you write your name or your names in the next comment
so I know which person or which persons are behind JustConnectTeam
Ok, I will show you
We already recorded the basic tracks from the song Leezy Lindsey
Dieb and William play together then David joined with the flute like you saw last week
And now I have to perform with my accordion
This is the microphone setup you see
but let me start at the place where we tracked the recording first
We've got an Apple IMac with Logic Pro 10
and this is the tracks from the song Leezy Lindsey
and we use..
a MOTU 896mk3
digital interface
This is where the microphones go in
and where the headphones go out
One of the cables is leading to this nice microphone
this is called Edwina
We use this microphone. Which is the same type
but with a nice shock mount which also looks great on camera
with a pop filter
for the vocals
and this one is called Ear trumpet Labs Myrte
I use this microphone for the bass side my harmonica because I have to move a bit
and this is called the Sennheiser MKH 416 P48
And now the song will play
I have to put on the head-phones.
I have to clap to sync with the video
Will ye gang tae the hielands, Leezie Lindsay
Will ye gang tae the hielands wi' me
Will ye gang tae the hielands, Leezie Lindsay
My bride and my lover to be
So I went to Lyndsay's old mother
And a cantie old body was she
Oh Mon, if I was young as my daughter
I'd ran tae the hielands wi' thee
So I went tae Lyndsay's young sister
And a wee bonnie lassie was she
Oh Mon, if I was beatiful as my sister
I'd ran tae the hielands wi' thee

My Sustainable Fashion Story - Teatime! - Duration: 5:57.Hey guys, this is my first Youtube video, so please forgive me that I have no idea what
I'm doing!
The concept is called teatime, because I'm caffeine intolerant so I can't have coffee,
but I really wanna share a beverage with you as a symbol of having a conversation.
So feel free to leave a comment, chime in, tell your opinions about whatever I'm
talking about, but please be kind, because I just started doing this!
So what I want to talk about today is my journey with sustainable fashion.
I'm sorry about using this word, I know it sounds kinda like "vegan" or "organic", it
has this propaganda undertone, but trust me I'm not gonna talk about the environmental
issues, I just want to share how I changed my habits and changed my life.
Some of you might know that I used to be a style blogger, or something like that.
Well this was the same time when all these giant bloggers came to fame, and everybody
wanted to be just like them.
Everybody who did the same thing as I did.
They all wanted to be skinny, traveling the world, wearing all designer, and having all
these infinite closets.
As you can guess for somebody who's really young and who's really confused about her
identity, I was thinking that I can just roll with the "fake it 'til you make it".
To be honest I was not in a good place mentally at all.
I had really serious identity issues, I really was struggling with who I was.
What I did was shopping non-stop, I was buying everything.
Two times a year when the big sales were on I just went absolutely crazy.
I had closets, I had literally rooms in my apartment filled with clothes, filled with
unworn clothes and I never had anything to wear.
I never could find anything that was "me", I changed my style every single day, or every
single week or month, because there were trends, there was somebody else I wanted to look like,
there was something else I wanted to express.
So I just ended up being incredibly confused and overwhelmed, trying fill this giant gaping
hole inside me with more clothes.
When you're blogging and you have an audience, a lot of companies are gonna email you and
be like "We really want to send you free clothes!" and well... who was I to say no to that?
So I was like "Bring it!" and I wore them once.
This is me when I was younger...
I was a blonde as you can tell... and what all these outfits have in common is that every
single one of them includes one or more pieces that I wore once and once only.
Things changed for me about four years ago when I started traveling and... you know,
you can't really bring a lot of things with you when you have very limited luggage space.
So I ended up living in a couple countries but the real turning point was when I moved
to Australia and I had one suitcase for six months.
When I opened up that suitcase I realized that I absolutely hated everything in it.
There was not one item in my suitcase that I had any kind of emotion towards.
I initially ended up giving everything to charity, and I was standing there with an
empty suitcase like "What the hell am I going to wear?".
Which is a really awkward and pressing issue, especially when you have no money to buy new
clothes, so I ended up researching what options do I have to buy used clothes, and lucky me,
I was in the world capital of second hand markets.
It was absolutely crazy!
Just to tell you an example: I bought an Alexander Wang blouse that retails for $500, for $40
and it was unworn!
I still have those items, I still absolutely adore and cherish those items, and you know... when you
open up your wardrobe and what you see is stories, and history, and memories, and emotions,
it's so much different than when you open up your closet and you see "I saw this on my friend",
"I had a bad day", and "Oh, this was on some blogger".
The other turning point for me was when I bumped into this documentary called "The True
Cost" on Netflix which is about how the garment industry affects the environment and all the
workers.
We're talking about hundreds of millions of people all around the world.
From one side I already had this organic change in my life, and then on the other side I had
this really big push.
When I realized I needed to treat myself better and value myself more than to just surround
myself with disposable things, was the point when I realized that I already changed my
life in some way.
This was my story, but I would really love to hear what you guys think about this topic,
so please use the comment box here, or you can visit my website to send me an email here!
I wish you a great day and see you next time!

Tree Stump Diorama: Timelapse ~ With Subs! - Duration: 8:08.Hello everybody! This is Musume.
And today I'm gonna show you how I store my props for my diorama,
and also a timelapse of setting up the diorama in two different forms.
I got these containers from a fishing supply store.
They had different shapes and sizes, but I thought these smallest ones were the best option.
They are really useful to keep everything tidy and organized.
Let's start setting the diorama!
I made a lot of furniture with the idea of having different settings, to make photostories with my dolls.
Most of the props and furniture you see are made by me.
Some are even related to my dolls' story.
I use a little putty on the back of the paintings and on the dreamcatcher, in order to fix them to the walls.
This way, they are easily removed and repositioned.
If you'd like to see how I made most of the furniture in this diorama, there is a video on the same playlist.
I will leave a link on the description.
I apologize for the bad focus of the camera in this part. I didn't realize until it was too late.
Here is Cookie! She is a Withdoll Donny in brown tan (UV) resin. She is 16cm tall.
Her character is a kitten fairy.
Let's start over with different furniture, to make a house for a different doll.
I also have a video tutorial with a step-by-step instructions on how I made the stone kitchen.
I will leave a link on the description.
All of the tiny fruits and vegetables you can see here are made by me in cold porcelain.
Then, I painted them and sealed them with either spray matte varnish or gloss-matte varnish.
Depending on the fruit or vegetable.
This tiny tea set you can see here is made with real acorns.
I dried them and added the handlers and other parts with dyed cold porcelain.
This is Merry! She is a Withdoll Strawberry in rosy white resin.
She was a gift from Withdoll.
Her character is a mouse fairy.
I hope you have enjoyed this timelapse.
I have two more other videos to share with you.
The first one is a summary of how I built the main diorama house, and how did the fake bark on the outside.
The second is a step-by-step tutorial for two types of furniture: the shelf and the stone kitchen.
If you enjoyed this video, don't forget to leave a thumbs up.
Have a nice day! Goodbye!

Tree Stump Diorama: Furniture Tutorial ~ With Subs - Duration: 4:11.Hello everybody! Today I want to show how I made some of the furniture for my tree stump diorama.
In this case, we will start with this shelf.
I used wire for the basic shape.
I twisted it and twirled it until I got the right shape, and then, I tinned it.
I got my hubby's help on this part,
and also reinforced the base with aepoxy.
Then, I covered the whole structure with masking tape,
in order to have a base in which the white glue will fix.
Since I aiming for a twig look, I used the same technique that I used on the outer part of the house.
I covered the masking tape with paper, in this case tissue paper, and white glue,
giving it a different texture.
Once it was dry I gave it a base coat of burnt sienna acrylic.
I used two layers to get an even color.
Then, I added some shades in green, yellow, red and blue.
I made the shelves with ice-cream sticks, which were cut and then stained with coffee.
Yes, instant coffee.
Last part was sealing it with spray matte varnish.
After that, I added some decorations, like fake moss and tiny flowers, in order to get a more fairy-like look.
I used this technique several times in my diorama, for other furniture.
I made a bed, a hanging shelf, a table, two chairs and a desk.
It is very versatile.
I used a different technique to make a stone kitchen.
I made the base in a very thin cardboard, and as you can see, I kept it together with masking tape.
I wasn't pretty, but it was a good base.
After that, I used a very thin cardboard to cut a lot of bricks. I cut them all in the same size.
Once I had a good quantity, I used white glue to glue them to the structure of the kitchen.
I alternated them in order to get a more realistic look.
It was looking certainly better, but still something was missing.
I wanted to give it a more stone-like texture, so... I mixed sand with white glue.
I painted the whole structure with it, and let it dry.
After two layers with this, I was happy with the final texture.
And it was finally time for painting!
I gave it a base of a dark gray color. It took me several layers and attempts,
because the sand was making it a little harder to paint and cover completely.
Once the basic layer was good enough in my eyes, I started playing with different colors,
grays, greens and black, in order to get a more realistic look.
I also wanted it to look like if the inside part was a little burnt from all the cooking.
The last touches were some ice-cream sticks, also chopped and stained, that I added as decorations.
I also made a shelf in the top of the kitchen.
I didn't use this technique in any other furniture of my diorama.
However, I think that using sand to simulate stone texture is very helpful.
If you want to see more videos about this diorama,
there is a summary video of the steps I followed to construct the house,
and also a speed video of me setting up the diorama, and showing how I store all the props I made.
If you liked my video, please give it a thumbs up! And I also hope you can check out my blog.
Have a nice day! And goodbye!
