Hey there.
I lived in Turkey for five years, and I've watched the one thing everybody knows about
the country change.
Five years ago it was "that's the country where East meets West".
Now it's "Isn't Turkey getting more Islamic".
Both of these statements are true in some senses, but get sillier the closer you look
at the country.
In particular, the extreme version of this sentiment.
"Turkey's turning into Saudi Arabia" is deeply ridiculous.
To explain why this is, I'm going to need to talk about the English Civil War.
Obviously.
In 1641 England had a king named Charles, a parliament, a ruling aristocracy, and a
thriving commercial culture that would change the world.
In 1660 England had a king named Charles, a parliament, a ruling aristocracy, and a
thriving commercial culture that was changing the world.
It seems the same but in fact it was quite different.
In 1660 the Parliament was much more powerful.
It took another three decades to really settle it, but this era saw the birth of England's
modern political system.
Elements of this English system are now present in almost every country in the world.
It's what happened between these two years that makes me think of Turkey today.
What happened in the middle was the English Civil war.
A group of religious fanatics, far more extreme than Turkey's AK party today, took over
the country.
Under the leadership of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, wait sorry, Under the leadership of Oliver
Cromwell, the New Model Army rose to power, smashing religious iconography, destroying
the old establishment and taking charge.
The parallels between Cromwell and Erdogan are striking.
Though the English leader was much more extreme.
Cromwell started out as a figure that stood up for fire and brimstone Christianity and
the people's right to govern themselves, and then ended up destroying that right, setting
up personal, authoritarian rule.
But he couldn't change England entirely.
Even after the death of the king, and as many as 200,000 Irish, English, Scottish, and Welsh
soldiers and Civilians Cromwell couldn't build his religious utopia.
It didn't last for much more than a year after his death.
What he was bumping up against was English culture and institutions.
Religious fanatics can take power for a while in any society, but they can't truly defeat
the generations deep traditions and inclinations of a country.
The English wanted a king and a strong parliament and they got it.
They've still got it today, though in a very different mix.
Erdogan has the same problem Cromwell did.
Even if he wanted to turn Turkey into Saudi Arabia or Iran, which I don't really think
he does, he couldn't.
There's just too much history there.
Saudi Arabia's development is unique.
It tries hard to claim the heritage of the ancient Islamic empires, dating back to the
time of the prophet.
In truth, however, the Sauds stole Mecca and Medina from the real owners of that heritage
back in the 1920's.
Back then Saudi Arabia had a distinctly pre-modern blank slate of a society.
It had a royal family and a religious establishment, but that was it.
Thanks to oil wealth they were able to build a country from scratch very quickly.
Before oil, Saudi Arabia didn't have much in the way of institutions, history, an educational
establishment, or even people really.
Saudi society is as weird as it is because it's been invented out of thin air in less
than a century.
No Turkish leader will ever have that opportunity.
Some Turkish institutions, like the University of Istanbul, and to some extent its military,
go back 500 years.
Before the Ottoman Empire fell in the 1920's it had been reforming and modernizing for
over a century.
A Turkish parliament, no matter how many times it has been ripped up and started over, dates
back to 1876.
Saudi Arabia still doesn't really have one.
Ataturk, the father of the Turkish Republic, a deeply anti-religious figure, set Turkey's
path in 1923.
For 80 years Turks were brought up to believe their country was a secular republic.
Erdogan's rise in the first decade of the century showed that there were many who were
not content with a completely anti-religious government.
Turkey wants to be a little more religious.
But it also wants to be a secular republic.
No matter how many people he purges, Erdogan can't beat history out of Turkey.
He will never be able to defeat the legacy of Ataturk, and he will never be able to do
without the country's centuries old institutions.
This history is in the hearts and minds of his opponents, but it's also in the hearts
and minds of his supporters as well.
When the Turkish Cromwell finally leaves the stage, a stronger, better Turkey will emerge,
just as it did in England so many years ago.
Turkey can never be Saudi Arabia.

Also, I'm in the middle of a funding drive at the moment.
If I can't get my crowd-funding dollars up to US minimum wage by July 15th, 1979,
I'm going to have to stop running this channel.

Everyday was the same.
Everyday didn't matter.
There wasn't a single exciting thing
-In such a world,
-In such a world, is there truly happiness?
Friend A: -Hey, Shiina!
Shiina: What?
Friend A: I'm sorry! I forgot to bring the notes I borrowed yesterday.
Shiina: Eh... You mean World's History's? That's bad, there's a test the day after tomorrow.
Friend A: Sorry I'll definitely return it tomorrow! Okay? You'll still have one day left right?
Shiina: ..Uhm. Okay, I'll forgive you. Please return it tomorrow then.
Shiina: (I actually want it returned right now, but I'm not so good at being persistent...)
Friend B: Hey hey. Why don't we all go to the Amusement Park after the test?
Friend A: Ah, what a good idea! I wanna go! How about the day after the test is over?
Friend B: Why not straight after when the school ends instead? Let's go by then!
Friend A: Yeah, that'll be great! Hey, could you get your boyfriend to come? I haven't even talked to him yet.
Friend B: Hey, will you come too?
Shiina: Ah...
Shiina: Sure, of course I look forward to it!
Shiina: ...Haa...
Shiina: (The Amusement park is nice... But it's always the same. We don't even have any money.)
Shiina: (But if I refused, it'd be bad if I said I couldn't make it... I guess it can't be helped)
Shiina's mom: Watching TV so carefreely, don't you have a test soon? Are you studying properly?
Shiina: ...I know. I got it.
Shiina's mom: You were pretty depressed last time you didn't study well enough on the last test. Make sure to study for this one, okay?
Shiina: I understand, but since I'm distracted by you, please leave.
Shiina: Haa... Geez. It's always so annoying everytime. Whatever, I'm going to sleep now.
Shiina: So boring....
Shiina: (Haa... Even if I sleep like this, when I wake up it'll be school again tomorrow.)
Shiina: (Every single day, the same thing repeats... The days aren't especially painful, but it's not interesting.)

Tony Robbins: How to Face Your Fears (Tony Robbins Motivation) - Duration: 21:52.
do you have any tips on how to overcome
your fears and take the first step to
achieving a dream it depends on the
individual everybody's different but the
fastest way to get over your fear is I
give you two different approaches one is
find something you're more scared of
than you fear because some people are
afraid of public speaking you're afraid
of doing anything but they're more
afraid of disappointing their children
you know they're more afraid of missing
out on the opportunity more afraid of
not living the life they want when I was
a kid I would do this little thing for
myself I don't throughout my life called
the rocking chair test someone taught it
to me that it was years ago I read in a
book or something
and it was the idea that if you're
trying to find what you're going to do
something you're scared to death imagine
you're 80 years old and you didn't do it
and how do you feel and if it doesn't
bother you don't do it if you think like
like skydiving or you know I'm a
helicopter pilot you know I don't have
time to have energy but I thought at
eight years old I could've been flying
and taking people down on the water and
doing all this crazy and I missed out on
that I forget yeah so you can either
find you know what if you like to miss
out on your dream or what something
you're more afraid of than your fear or
we'll all play through our fears when we
want something bad enough rain you know
it's like I don't care what it is
I saw man the other day I've known for
years they lost 80 pounds in these in
the 70s and I said what made you finally
lose the weight you know you taught for
years you said I really finally wanted
it okay so let's really want okay so
let's come up with some tips so one tip
is you have to really want it well one
tip is to passionately figure out right
the why I believe in that reasons come
first answers come second if you get a
strong enough why you can figure out how
to do anything right that's a wine
that's going to drive you so I'd sit
down and say why is this a must for me
not should and ask yourself what can I
afraid of don't think of that I got to
be more afraid of what I'm gonna miss
out on missing element this thing on who
I'm supposed to be in this in other
words if you're not get rid of fear than
use there use fear or it uses you it's
that simple so you got to say okay
what's the price if I just stay doing
this what's the price what I need really
to get scared can I learn all this I
don't follow through that's something to
be scared about
and then that fear will get you over
your fear and they'll push you through
turn fear on itself second way you can
do it
is used what you've probably heard me
say because I use this in with 17 is my
rocking chair test right I'm gonna I'm
gonna sit myself in my rocking chair I'm
I'm 85 years old looking back on my life
and I think I didn't do this or I did
why does somebody you know get that fat
where they're out of control and they
hate themselves for the nickel I've
another piece chocolate or you know why
does the person who's just the doctor
just told they have cancer lung cancer
is you've got to stop smoking and some
study shows 70% of people keep on
smoking so you're not talking about a
minor issue here right it's part of life
but there is an answer because there are
people who do follow through and they're
people that never did before and then
they never fall through in their life
and now finally they break through and
that's when I try to focus on is what
those people do what do these people
need to get started why aren't there
starting we all know the answer is care
but the difference with you guys or me
or anybody's followed through is we're
more afraid of what life would be like
if we don't follow through then the
person is willing to settle for what
they got and kind of hope it'll change
and maybe purchase something for the
moment and then not follow through with
it it's almost like people overachievers
have a little more fear they're a little
more afraid of missing out they're
afraid of not being there or they got a
strong enough reason to follow through
so I'd say if you're looking at home you
want to get somebody some value go where
do I start
I'm sick of this that's a damn good
place so because well guess what what
makes people excited is progress you
don't have to be at the goal yet to feel
alive again you have to be progress in
the first up the progress and make a
decision of buying the product but then
go to the second step which is open the
damn thing up some cases it's also a
recognition of Who I am and what I'm
capable of so for somebody whose life is
already great this is about what if I
could take on another skill it could
create more freedom for my life and just
saying I'm not I'm going to go out and
try and do it all perfectly right now
what I'm going to do for the next eight
weeks I'm gonna do one only play a
little ritual I'm going to do one thing
a day to condition my mind right so I
get slow so I follow through I'm gonna
read some I'm gonna listen to something
I'm gonna immerse myself I'm going to go
for an intense jog or I'm going to go
lift weight so I'm going to do it
consciously to get in a state where I'm
gonna follow through because people
follow through when you're in state
second I'm going to get clear about why
this is a must for me and work of my
backs against the wall but because I
want to master your life to create some
freedom
we're going to master it overnight but I
got the system I got the plan with the
one thing a day I'm going to work on one
subject week this week is going to be
about figuring out what the right
product or industry is next week's going
to be basics of building traffic and
each week on to make a little progress
and I'm going to get to a goal whatever
that is they told me when I was on stage
I have this audience is about 15,000
people the Continental Center was during
a stretch break I was doing they love
rocking the house everybody going crazy
and it goes just stop so that's 14
million bucks right now is like wow
that's cool like okay that's ignore some
stupid it's like what's next and I went
right back to what I loved once you
break through then it just becomes a
game the people that are getting your
products have not yet broken through in
most cases the breakthrough happens by
conditioning your mind every day by
feeding it a role model or story it's
putting yourself in a peak state you
follow through by getting physically
strong it's creating a little ritual of
doing a little bit each day and then you
get momentum the most important thing at
all what we start out with why absolu is
it a must for you
it doesn't have to be here against the
wall but it has to be something you're
hungry for because the only difference
in people is hunger if you're not hungry
get around people that are hungry and
something will hit you you watch a
conversation get around people are doing
better and all of a sudden you start
going my life sucks I remember I went
through a guy in LA it's one of the most
multi billionaire guys I'll never forget
and I lived in the Del Mar Castle I was
really proud that was like the symbol of
me having taken myself from being poor
to providing for my family this great
place built some castles in Europe
overlooking the ocean not far from you
and I with this guy's house he's a
billionaire he took me down to his wine
cellar honey big one what did this whole
thing at the other night I was depressed
I lived in the Del Mar tenement far as I
was concerned it really was I was like I
live in a copy place and all my
standards changed all sudden I wasn't
willing to settle for living that all of
a sudden my back was to the wall in a
different way because as a man I knew
was capable of more so people can change
their standard by getting around words
better people can change their standard
by getting associated what's true like
the bills they gotta solve the problems
they got to do it or they can do it
because they're excited because it's
something new they want to take on
everyone's different but they gotta find
the why and they got to come up with
some daily rituals to get them going and
just do a step at a time
that's where you get momentum that is
awesome so you know think about what's
the Holy Grail between somebody taking
action or not it's one word certainty
when somebody is absolutely certain de
carbón worded believed right but you
know you can believe in a general level
or you can believe what's certain when
you're absolutely certain that if I do
this it's going to get that result and
that results going to change my life
you'll do it when you think it
absolutely not going to work you're
never going to do it the middle no-man's
land of maybe it'll work maybe it will
that's the piece that kills people all
right so if it's a must for you you got
to make it work that in our case right
there's an example it's not a mess for
you and you're not sure you don't know
what to do so I years ago I'd look
around and say okay how do people get
themself to follow through they haven't
been following through what's the
difference and I started interviewing
hundreds of people literally eventually
thousands going to have thousands of my
events so I'd ask the group to give me
the feedback they came with his model
it's like the holy grail of the lease or
the holy grail of Momentum's like the
difference saying what makes the rich
get richer and the poor get poorer right
and the difference male knows mindset
but like how's that bill so this is like
a stupid little turtle boxes and I'm
scribbling here for it you think about
the first thing that determines whether
you can do something or not and I put
that in this first box at the top here
on the left side that fits potential
like what's the potential of the M'Baye
like when you guys started you proved
something no one had done in history
around the four-minute month right for
godly knows how many centuries they're
trying to run a four-minute mile roger
bannister does it how did he do it do
you remember you did it in this industry
right you made a million bucks in a day
no one had ever done that in history
right now if you did it a bunch of the
guys are doing it because we can
possible roger bannister didn't just go
physically practice he made a shift in
his hat he practiced in his head because
he could never achieve it physically so
he had a change in his head first so the
result became certain enough he believed
it
and his body got him through after roger
bannister in that four-minute mile
within two years 37 people ran a format
mom well when no one in history never
done now here's how it works the
potential for anybody getting your
product is extraordinary they could do
what you've done as much more or less
like thinking whatever they want to do
the potentials there the markets proven
that
whether or not they happen and potential
is a lot to deal with what action we
take which is a question you came to me
with right like you know copy owns
potential but not taking action and we
all know that the action that take is
going to determine the results they get
that's pre obvious so most people have a
belief about what their real potential
isn't matter what you tell them and that
affects how much action they take and of
course that affects the result and then
ironically that result reinforces their
belief in that belief that's it so give
an example let's say a person has
unlimited potential we all agree but
they take little actions little results
why because they have to start with a
problem with their belief they don't
believe it's really gonna happen for me
maybe for Frank Kearns because we've got
the cool hair and stuff or maybe it's
for you because you're so driven but
it's not me maybe Tony Robbins because
he's a freak at these big teeth whatever
their process is right they got this
thing right but what happens is if you
believe that there's very little
potential how much actually going to
take profit little and when you take
little potential with a little action
what kind of results you get lousy
little results we need little results
what does that do to your belief you go
see I told you this was a waste of time
soldier this wouldn't work and then what
happens you tap even less potential take
even less actually even worse results
and your belief could be the weaker and
this sucker feeds on itself until you
are in a downward spiral poisonous it's
poisonous and it's self-fulfilling
now what if something could happen that
could come along and fill you with a
sense of absolute certainty not like I
believe but mean where you know and you
guys this case mine as well we knew
because we had to because we burn the
boats there was no other option we had
to find a way we had we were going to
live that way we all did it in different
ways and for different reasons but in
essence that was it if you get yourself
in a state of certainty but this is
going to work I'm going to find a way
and if this is work I will make their
way then you tap a lot more potential
and when you're serving your potential
you take massive action when you take
massive action you really believe in
something you get great results when you
get great results your brain go see I
told you I was a stud I told you the
thing would work out now you even
spawned you tap more potent so take
greater actually beta results that's how
you went from 300 bucks in a week to 20
five hundred five days to a hundred
thousand and a month to a million bucks
in a day same thing with you and we get
momentum a rich get richer the poor get
poorer now some people go out they go
well I'm gonna take a bunch of action
all right I'm gonna open this product
when I try it
they'll say to you I even did it but
it's like a Salesman who goes - knocks
on the door he knocks on 100 doors and
says exactly right and even if he
doesn't say it verbally his face says it
because he doesn't believe it's going to
work so his voice his body the execution
is so weak maybe if he talks a hundred
people somebody's going to buy out of
pity I didn't want his kids to starve
right but it's not going to get the
result so the core difference in people
is how do you put a certain date when
the world isn't giving it to you you go
out and try and you try in your case
you're a hundred thousand I've got
nothing's working how do you keep
yourself going the way you did it the
way I did it the way you're doing it I
mean I've done it consciously is we
didn't change our potential that was
there and it wasn't even taken more
action taking more action with beliefs
not gonna work not going to change
anything we got results in our head that
made it so certain as if it had already
happened now here's the difference the
potential was there the first time and
you took action and you got a result but
it was 50% less than what you did later
on and the only difference is I changed
your believe how do I change your belief
we didn't work harder on your potential
we didn't take more action I got you to
see the result in advance I get to see
it vividly two or three times that's all
I'm going further and their brain with
oh I know what to do boom it went there
isn't that what you did by looking at
your cars every single day and
auditioning it isn't that what you did
when you created whatever the vision was
there was 300 ollars twenty-five hundred
dollars a million bucks in a day that's
what's missing - these people they're
not getting that execution is everything
but it doesn't happen if you don't get
the psychology set of a set of state of
total certainty what is that difference
people this changes people's certainty
people are uncertain they're going to
succeed they want it but they're afraid
the best way if you will the fear is get
a big enough reason makes you have to
succeed or condition yourself where you
see it and feeling so often that you're
certainly you just do it probably things
I'll tell you what I was with under a
gassy in 1993 I think it was
you've been number one he talked to 32nd
in the world and he was ready to
literally ready to quit with no
exaggeration whose father was man
he was so angry with his life and he
went through some other wrist surgery at
the time and he's working on a swing and
yeah he was dating Brooke Shields at
that point they weren't married I mean
not his current marriage obviously and
so she said you better come see Tony cuz
I mean motivation because he's not
motivation and he's strategy he'll show
you how to make that shift in your heads
it comes I work with a guy in the
beginning he's saying you know do your
magic stuff like oh yeah great thank you
and I said tell me again here to test
fall perfectly and I'm trying to get him
in the zone to remember that time like
you vision where he was perfect at it
because of course I have and I get a
vision over and over again and finally
he's in the zone
he's feeling that again right he's
seeing it and he's feeling certain and
the swing is going perfect all right so
how's my field as it feels perfect I
said but are you thinking about the
swing you're not thinking about the
swing you're not thinking about how to
do it you just seen the result you want
so vividly that it's there
so all he did was train him how to go on
that stand over and over again he won
the next weekend the second weekend he
came in second within six months it was
number one in the world again and he
gave me unbelievable credit but all it
was was conditioning the mind you do
with tape so today I that we was talking
about this earlier pegmatitic
I used to go when I was 17 years old out
of downtown Los Angeles this place
called night education K ni ght like in
the night I'd save up all my money where
as a janitor and I'd get these tapes and
listen to these things over and over and
over again I went there for years and I
didn't have enough money and I leveraged
everything I had but I knew I betrayed
my mind so one thing I knew how to do
man's name is Mario I saw him in his 80s
you know obviously knows how my life
turned out and was very proud of the
role he played and that process you tell
people the story this guy's the real
thing he didn't just start out this way
this out when he did it he listened he
takes he conditioned himself right this
is the real stuff passed away a few
years ago I'm calling his house and he
passed away and his his daughter was
there and she wanted to share with me
that how I touched his life and so forth
but the best thing was I thought you
know what I want to get those tapes on
when I get that stuff a condition you
know I want to go back to that moment
like you did of you know that moment was
visualizing non-living it and she said
he left all this and his will to you so
I have all these tapes now then from the
time when I originally went through and
like I'd go to sleep and I'd be sleep
tapes that conditioned my mind to
believe that I could succeed you want to
sleeping or to build energy in my body
and anybody wants to succeed has got to
know it doesn't just happen you can buy
a product but you also with that product
have got to condition yourself you got
to make it a must
you got to get a ritual have you do it
whatever you used to dream about you
thought was so huge you'll just live it
you'll live it like you live this
yesterday like we're all living the life
that we envisioned because we had to and
because we played this game with our
head we got the belief to be real by
seeing it enough times and feel it
enough times to our brain believed it
and it made it happen which raised the
potential which made us take more action
which got us better result which raised
our beliefs again that's right and then
that's where the rich get richer and the
poor get poorer so instead of bitching
about it change it in the psyche change
like a self-fulfilling prophecy
completely it's pretty easy to change
just that one simple exercise was
amazing I'm still like holding on
wonder what else I can do now but look
what most people do most people do the
opposite of that right they get the
product or they think about doing it
what are they envision it's not working
that's not the excuses so they vision it
not working soon as the envision I'm
working lethal uncertainty for one suit
and how much potential it out little if
anything until they send back your
product and they listen to the damn
thing you know and guess what what does
that do by the way they make that is
another lousy result in their life I
didn't even follow through on that and
they believe even less this process is
the Holy Grail
it's where the whole game changes that
anybody can do it and they can do it a
few minutes and if they do it a few
minutes each day then they get a
different life they do it a few minute
one time their life changes for the day
it's we're defined by our rituals
everybody's got rituals certain things
they do every day and what we have in
common and anybody that I know of has a
life that they're living that was once a
vision because we saw it again and again
again even when it didn't work even when
you lost on a grant you weren't working
as a janitor there's something we would
not give up on and somebody watching
want to change their life they got aside
what they won't give up on and then put
himself in the state of momentum by a
couple of rituals okay but here's the
truth if somebody says to me in my
business even work because a lot of
people think I'm a motivator I hate that
term has never been what I've done I do
believe in energy and I'm passionate you
know they see 10,000 people in the room
rocking the galleys motivating them I
believed in peeks bait you get a top
athlete you get in a concert and you get
in state right the problem is to defend
themselves they don't be disappointed
again they lower
expectation so someone will say to me
well I'm skeptical or I'm pessimistic
and my response to them is no man you're
gutless
it takes no guts to be skeptical you
don't have to have any capacity to be a
critic and now with the web you don't
need to have to own that you're the one
being the critic and burn somebody and
you know anonymously right I said you
know what it takes guts to believe and
if you think something's gonna do it for
you without you putting your guts on the
line you might forget it right now so
this idea that I'm skeptical or they got
to prove it to me it's the biggest lie
what that really is is your fear talking
you're so scared of failing you only
want to get your hopes up and if you
don't get your hopes up you might say
well what does it help something
somebody gets disappointed how many
disappointments that we experienced in
our business career in our lives the
difference is some people say
disappointment let it destroy them other
people take disappointment let it dry
them and you get to choose are you going
to turn this thing into why it didn't
work and a bunch of stories and excuses
are you going to take this thing that
didn't work and figure out what are you
going to do to make it work
and it may not happen the first time the
second time the third time but the
people that are relentless find the way
and it's the common denominator and all
these guys that are kind of our friends
our family our money masters you know
knew many masters is they all did it
with will nobody here inherited this
stuff everybody figured it out
and keep figuring it out and it's going
to keep changing and you say you know
what you know 1% of 99% of the money
they made they made by 1% of the people
because only one percent of people will
condition their mind and condition their
body and fall through some daily rituals
the rest will tell a story about why it
didn't work
I wasn't their fault and you got two
things life you got results or you got a
story you know and too many people think
that that 1% is somehow entitled to it
and they're not which is you know it's
just all in the head - all have believed
it which can be changed with some
conditioning basically condition you
just proved it yeah - up that's fun
that's why I made get the ads in person
powers because I understood that in the
very beginning I could originally was
thirty days and years later people say
you know I've heard all the great
results everything else man but I don't
have 30 days and I'd be behind the glass
you know focus group watch these people
to want to shake about you on 30 days to
change your life you know okay I'll make
it seven days so just one because after
seven days you get momentum you think
about it when do people's lives change
moment it doesn't change in 10 years
you're like me to suck for 10 years but
there's one moment when your life change
the moment you decided you said no more
and I'm doing it and you kick yourself
me ass and you made yourself go do
something right when you finally said
enough no more I quit or let's begin or
I love you there's a moment when
somebody's life changes and that can be
gotten in a couple of days so people
want to don't have to wait until they've
mastered everything they got to get
started and do what's next and just put
themself in a state where they start
making some progress there it is I think
that's the answer that can help solve
that problem a lot of people just pay
attention to it and do it the bottom
line is you know all three of us and
some of the people that we consider as
family they're part of this process
we've all done well we don't need to do
this stuff we're able to do the stuff
because underneath it all people can see
in your eyes Frank when you talk about
$2,500 you made that day and the joy
right are you talking about not willing
to settle you know and just I don't care
what they say I'm able to sit here and I
should lower my expectations I'm going
to be driving my car in here and they're
going to be delivering a video to me
there's something inside of every human
being that will make it click then I'll
make it so that today is not like
yesterday and tomorrow will be different
forever and that process is an emotional
hook and on what I hope is people
watching the stuff maybe something in
here will piss them off enough or remind
them of something or say there is a plan
and it isn't just luck and if I just get
my big enough why and I get a little
system for you to do conditioning myself
and if I start to feel overwhelmed and
just do one next step and I keep
learning to keep moving forward
I will get there that we accomplished
that out of this conversation then this
conversation was kick-ass and fun not
just for us but it'll be something that
we'll be really proud of a long time
whether it happens not really has
nothing to do with us but whether or not
people take it in as real and do
something with it I hope they will

Ⓦ Channel Announcement/Checking In - Duration: 1:35.
Hey, everyone, this is Daniel a.k.a. WolfieGGnS, letting everyone know that--no--I'm not dead.
However, I do have some things I'd like to talk about.
No, I'm not planning on quitting Youtube, at least not for the foreseeable future.
Don't worry, this isn't that sort of announcement.
But I have had this growing feeling over the past 3-4 years that I've basically hit a wall
with my channel.
Something in regards to the way I do things has to change.
The sorts of videos I'm doing now just don't feel as fun or rewarding anymore.
The changes Youtube has been making certainly haven't helped.
So, yeah, I might have a few more of those same-old walkthroughs in me, but don't be
surprised if I start trying out different kinds of content.
Speaking of Youtube concerns: I'm going to start mirroring my content on Vidme, just
to be on the safe side.
I'll put a link in the description below.
So, if anyone would like to, you know, go over an give my stuff some views/upvotes/etc.
y'know, wink wink, nudge nudge.
That'd be
most appreciated.
Or, if you're just getting tired of Youtube and want to join me on another platform.
Anyways, that's it for now.

Law of Attraction - How To Manifest Abundance - Duration: 11:50.
Live Today With Passion - Neville Goddard: "Around eight years ago I was in New York
for a month and two of my brothers
Victor and Lawrence came up and spent
two weeks with me in New York City
they're checking to the same hotel they
wanted to see everything they could
within two weeks and I bought them 14
shows and sometimes they went even to an
afternoon show they want to see
everything in the crowded two weeks but
the one thing my brother Lawrence wanted
to see was the new presentation of Aida
well the paper said it was sold out from
the very moment that it was stated a new
presentations a music naturally the same
score but new ceiling something new
about it and this captured the
imagination of all opera lovers and they
all wanted to see Aida the one thing he
wanted to see was a leader but the
papers had huge big Edie not one see is
available come down and buy seats for
the other show and this was the old
Opera House around 40th Street and
Broadway
it ran from Broadway to seven the old
Metropolitan so this morning we set out
I said ah it doesn't really matter I
said let us go we have to go down and
have lunch anyway we will go and just
see
we got there and these huge big signs on
the outside no seats for Aida available
and they were plastered all over the
metropolitan arraigned in there were
three lines leading towards the three
windows selling tickets for the entire
season and there was no seat for Aida I
got into the first line with a very long
line then I saw the third line for me
moving more recipe than the first under
second so I moved over to that line then
we all move rapidly forward as we got to
the Wyndham and seemingly no hope of
getting digging but before I left my
hotel room
I simply assumed that I had the ticket
for my two brothers I didn't want to go
they wanted to see it so I assumed that
I gave him the ticket I guarding of this
line we move rapidly towards the window
as we got there to the window a tall
blond man with about only less than six
and 511 he must reload six for these
stretches hand up over my head and
diverted the ticket seller as he asked
the question why one in front of me is
buying seats not for Aida but that's
completely sold out he is buying to
other team for some other opera
then he departed after he diverted the
man's attention this man pushed on some
bills under the window and then as the
teller looked at the money and this man
is at the door now the toll told
Longfellow and he gave this man the
tickets and then suddenly he said well
he only gave me three dollars he should
have given me and he mentioned the money
to give me as that he was bewildered the
teller was bewildered I turned around
and I screamed at that tall blonde I
said sir I scream so loudly he couldn't
stop but we attention he turned around
to come back here you wanted he came
back a little child being led by the
nose he came back and he said what's
wrong and the man said this is all that
he gave me to $1 bill said oh no we
didn't he gave you two things then I
should know you didn't I was standing by
hey I saw what you did
you gave him to $1 bills that's all that
you gave him the man is Papa guessing he
were so completely dumbfounded he didn't
know what to do okay I am standing here
I saw exactly what was done then he open
up is first and here was a stack of one
and he had a $20 bill and two canes he
said to the land frame will you discover
your mistake that I gave you two things
the men say to him at the end of the
season
and with that it was close and the man
then without the money and pay for the
ticket and took back his 2-1
when I say to him I want to see for Aida
tonight
and I want them in the horseshoe circle
I want them sent him is it yes sir
and he took from what is called the vit
he always we always keep a few out
though the house is sold out they always
keep a few seats for those who are
coming call the very important people so
I am certainly not a very important
person but I saved him from the loss of
$20 and he quickly took the two seats
out and said to me $20 I gave him the
$20 and back and get the two seats to my
brother now a state called a thief these
two men have chosen to be seized in
their world their con name is perfectly
all right
God made everything for its purpose even
the wicked for the time of trouble read
that in the sixteenth chapter the fourth
worth of Proverbs he made everything for
each person even the wicked for the day
of trouble
the day of cover may not be a war I wish
trouble how to get these thickets that's
a moment of trouble and I shall be
assumed that I had them and I simply
played my part in my imagination before
I left my hotel room that my brothers
are going to see this show this night of
Aida the new presentation of Aida then
two who have already given themselves
over to the state of a thief
they had to actually come right into the
line I put the first line then I move
over to the third line because I saw it
moving more rapidly so he comes over to
the third line and plays his part
beautifully if he had not done what he
did I would not receive those tickets
because I am NOT a very important person
but the man looked me in the eyes and
here is an honest man as far as he is
concerned I am an honest man who saved
him from losing $20 and so he quickly
took out the two seats are painful and
actually didn't give them to me I was
willing to pay for my seats but you
couldn't buy them all over the place
sold out sold out sold out all over the
Metropolitan Opera you could place it on
the world I'm in a huge big ad in the
paper
our EDA is sold out and I went that day
and got those seats right in the circle
in central for my two brothers because
one man played his part beautifully he
has given himself over to a con man he
finds it easy to make a living being a
con man so those who are pickpockets
their schools the teach people to be
pickpocket you know that they come right
out of the school and go into a
profession right at their part let's
play that point now you pay your part
beautifully and one of them can be
instrumental in getting you what you
want in this world so I wanted to cease
for Aida worry not for a conman
in that world I would not have had those
to see so he comes into the line where I
was in the line he comes forward and
just as I got to the ticket window he
put detain over my head to divert the
man attention and the one in front of me
who is buying two seats not for I either
because you can get them he is buying
two seats for something else and he puts
out two dollar bills instead of two ten
and then this man starts and I turn
around as though I was inspired I was my
pretty boy
I said sir come back here he had to come
back so he came on back just like a
little child and stood next to me and he
looked down at me he wouldn't dare budge
when I said you didn't give him anything
more than what he what he showing you
now you give in exactly what he's
showing you because I was there and I
stood next to you he was helpless he
couldn't hit me
he was many inches my height I'm 511 and
he may be but six five ago a strong
strapping blond but he was impotent in
my presence when I called him back we
only played the part so should I not
forgive him the infinite states in this
world and all you have to do is forget
States you play your part and every
state necessary to make your part come
to fulfillment will be present at the
moment that you need it

How to Crochet Bunting: Boho Bunting - Duration: 21:58.
And welcome back to The Crochet Crowd as
well as my friends over at
yarnspirations.com. We're going to do the
Crochet Boho Bunting today. For today's
tutorial, we're going to be working on
these little triangle flags. They are
triangle grannies and then they're put
together into one continuous strand. They
say that there's 55 triangles that make
up this whole strand, but of course you
can add as little or as many as you wish.
Really quite a fabulous idea. I like the
idea that it's a reusable particular
party idea. So that you can continually
use it, instead of having to buy things
put it up and then throw it away. So if
you're looking for a reusable idea, these
are also make for really cute ideas for
the nursery as well, in baby colors. So
let's take a look a little bit at the
pattern, but first let's listen to this.
This video has sound alerts added. When
you hear this sound **BELL**, it will be your
signal that the segment is finishing up.
Press stop and crochet the
instructions and then press play again
to continue along in your project.
Okay so let's dive a little harder into
this and you'll see that there's all
kinds of colors, that have been added and
you can see it's a really kind of a cool
mix. You will see over here is that it
has all the color combinations. It says make
7 with color 1 as A and color 2 as B. So
it has all the breakdown, so that you can,
do what appears to be random, but
it actually kind of isn't. Of course you
can use your own creativity. I do like
how it has the speck of color in the
middle of the triangle. So if you want to
do with solid triangles that's
completely up to you. The pom-pom is to
add a nice weight to the flag, so when I
hangs down, it actually will hang down
and I think it probably would anyway,
even without it, but it's really quite a
nice and cute touch. So let's take a look
at page number two. There is a stitch
diagram there. So one of my favorite
elements of yarnspirations.com and
the designers there.... look at this!
Yes, a nice stitch diagram. So you can see
the others 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 revolutions. So
we're going to be able to, be able to
follow this quite exactly and then you
just change the colors. If it were me and I
were you, I would do all the main color
in the center's first and then come back
and then finish it, but I like
assembly-line kind of crochet work. So I
would do all the little colors first and
then come back and do it. It's easier to
remember a pattern when you work it in
assembly
format, verses from going start to finish,
but that's again our personal preference.
So what we're looking at here, is that
you see that the, the bunting here, is
actually attached to a chain. So you're
going to chain 20 to begin and then
single crochet across the top and then
continue to single crochet across the
tops and go all the way and then just
chain twenty on the other side and then
you're just going to turn it around and
then just single crochet all the way
across the chain on the top. So that's
something that you can do on your own.
There's also tutorials and available how
to do the crochet pom pom. So today I'm
just going to take you through a
demonstration of doing the triangle
shape for your bunting. So grabbing our
Caron simply soft yarn you can use a
size F / 5 or 3.75 millimeter if
you wish. I'm going to live dangerously
I'm going to the 7 / 4.5
millimeter. Again this up to you. It
will work out for you. So create that
slipknot to begin and what I need you to
do, is that I need you to chain four. So
just kind of passing through. So one, two,
three and four and insert the hook into
the beginning chain and yarning over
pulling through and the center,
the center circle of your bunting is now
available. So now we're going to continue
along with round number one. We're going
to keep this color for at least two
rounds. So let's begin and instead of
doing a square, we're doing a triangle. So
we're going to chain three. So one, two
and three and coming into the center of
that circle I need you to double crochet,
two more times. So just go right into the
center for double crochet and again one
more time and once you start getting to
hold more, it gets easier to hold as well.
So once you make more. So then once you
get that done, now you're going to chain
three and turn the corner. So one, two,
three and then come back into the center.
See how I'm using the straggler to go
over top? So I'm trapping it in place and
I want you to double crochet in it three more
times. So one and two and three.
Just like you see there and now we're
ready to turn another corner. There's
only three sides, so chain three. So 1, 2, 3
and 3 more double crochets then into the
center. So unlike a square there's four
sides and triangle obviously there's
only three and so now that you have this
final side in, what's missing?
Yeah corner, right. So you have to finish
that off. So one, two and three, chain
three and join with a slip stitch to the
top of the first one that you
started with the chain three. So this is
what it should look like at this moment
and we're going to keep this color and
go for round number two. So round number
two is really what establishes it to be
a triangle and we're going to keep this
color on for one more revolution and
then we're going to begin. So let's begin
first and we are simply going to chain
up. Chain up three. So just one, two
and three and coming into the same space
right underneath okay, I want you to put
in two more double crochets, just like
that. Okay so they got one piece in there.
So now you're going to chain one only
and then you're going to jump to the
next space over here and now you're
going to put in three more double
crochets. So we're now is going to be
starting to establish our corners and
we're going to do that
right after we get these three
in. So this is part of one corner. There's
only three. Three corners really and
you're going to get your three in there
and then you're going to chain three. So
it'll always be three and then chain
three and then three. So one, two, three
and coming into that same space. I want
you to fill it in again with three more
double crochets. That allows you to be
able to turn the corners, by doing it
that way. So you're now in the middle
section of a side, so it's just going to
be chain one and then you just jump to
the next corner. So the next one is going
to be three double crochet,
followed by chain three and then three
double crochet in again into the same
spot. So that happens in every corner
that you do. You can technically make uh
square.. a rectangle... sorry I think, a triangle
afghan if you wanted to with this whole
pattern. You just keep on going. So now
you're in the middle of the side, so it's
just chain one and then jump to here,
but you've already just started
on the first side here, so you're only
going to finish this corner. So it's
going to be three double crochet first.
Okay followed by chain three. One, two,
three and then just slip stitch it to
the top of the first chain three that
you had. Okay so there is your triangle
shape now. So you can see that there's
three corners. So one, two and three ,but
we're done with this color now, so let's
finish off this color. We're going to
trim. The trick is to be able to bury
things, so you don't have a lot of loose
ends. So just uh pull through and then
just weave it through the chain a few
times and the next time you're doing
these chains in the future,or the next
revolutions, you're going to trap more
and more of this into position. So you can
safely cut it down into the project,
without having to worry about it at all.
So just weave it in for about an inch
and then you can trim. So because we were
burying the yarn in the very beginning,
we can get rid of that too and this one.
Now we have a nice clean triangle to be
able to work with, just like you see. So
let's move on to the next color. So let's
begin the next color. I'm just going to
use a purple or more like a mauve or a
lavender and I'm just going to create a
slipknot first. This is the way I like to
do it and you can come into any corner,
just make sure you start on the corner
and you're just going to insert in and
then just yarning over, pulling up
through with the slip stitch. Now you've
just attached. So now you're going to
chain up a total of three. So one, two, three
counts a double crochet and you're
going to put in two more double crochets.
Now when you go to do this, make sure you
just lay this straggler down on top, so
it gets stuck underneath and then you
can safely cut that out when we
get round. So now because you're on a
corner, you're going to continue then.
This is a middle section. So you're
just going to chain one and you're going
to fill that in with the three double
crochets. So in the middles, between the
corners, it'll always be just chain one
so to separate them. So we're going to
chain one and now you're going to come
to your next corner. Corners are always
the same of three double crochet and
then chain 3. 1, 2, 3 and then 3 double
crochet back in, just like so and now
you're on a side. So it's chain 1 and
then move to the next space where it's
going to be 3 double crochet. So anybody
familiar with granny squares, can do this.
It's just a triangle instead. So chain 1
and then moved here next corner.
So there's always going to be 3 double
crochet, chain 3, 3 double crochet
and then chain one and you're now on the
side. So it's just going to be three
double crochet there and chain one and
now this is where you started. So you've
already got half of your corner done . So
now you're going to finish it off this
time. So this is round number three. Okay,
so you're not quite done. You've got to
chain three and then just join it to the
top of the first chain three there. So
that was that revolution done. So now
you've got two more revolutions done
with this color. You can turn it over you
were buried in this tale and you can get
rid of it now and then carry on to round
number four. Round number four and five
are identical to each other. The only
differences, so there will be more spaces
between the corner. So let me just show
you how to do one more round. So you're
going to chain three to begin and coming
into the same space right underneath,
you're going to put in two more double
crochets, followed by a chain one because
now you're going to move along the sides
and you're just going to keep on moving
across. So just three double crochets
there, chain one, you're still on a side.
Just like that and then chain one and
then coming into the next corner. So
the corners are always three double
crochet, chain 3, 3 double crochet. I dropped
my stitch there, no big deal, just pick it
up. It's one thing I love about crochet.
Knitting? Well you never know mm-hmm. So
here's the corner, so 3 double crochet,
chain 3, 3 double crochet and you're just
going to move yourself, all the way
around, **BELL**, in the same fashion so please do
that and meet me back at the end of this
revolution. So I'm coming all the way
back around and I'm finishing off the
final corner. Remember that we started in
the first side of the corner, so chain 3
and just joined to the top. So now you're
going to do one more revolution of this
and so to begin again, number 5 is chain
3 and then two more double crochets
right into the same space underneath and
then move along the side. So chain 1 and
keep filling it in and the corners again
3 double crochet, chain 3, 3 double
crochet. **BELL** Please do this all the way
around. I'll see at the end of this
revolution. So I'm coming up all the way
around, just finishing it off, don't
forget chain 3. So if you want yours to
be bigger you're just carrying on and
doing more and more. Remember the bigger
that you do it, probably less that you
would have to make as well and now
you're officially done, so you can sign
off. So you can do anything that you want
to. If you want to add more layers or
maybe even a border, that's completely up
to you. So now you want to weave in your
ends, so that they'll never fall out and I
would probably grab a darning needle at
this point, just for peace of mind. Let me
show you how to do that, because I know
some of you may email me on that.
So just grabbing a darning needle and
honestly it just takes a few seconds. So
just put a darning needle into there and
just keep underneath the stitches okay.
So don't impede that outside edge at all.
So just coming back across and then go
back over. That's second time and then
come back a third time. So go back and
forth three times and now you can safely
cut it down into your project. So let me
just quickly review. So now you've just got
to stretch it and make it look good and
it's quite awesome. So let me just review
on how to do the bunting element.
So to quickly review, what you're going
to do now is, just grab a separate strand,
once you get all these done and then
you're just going to chain 20 and then
you're going to start and just pick up
one and just single crochet in each
stitch, going all the way across. When
you're done this one, you'll grab the
next one, just like you see and they all
match each other as you go. So then once
you get them all in line, then at the end,
you're just going to add another 20
chains and then you're done. So you got
your tie strings basically. So then
you're going to turn your work and then
single crochet all the way across the
chain. All the way back. Fasten off and
then your bunting is done. So this is
how you do the boho bunting, by
yarnspirations.com is really quite a
simple idea. I'm going to add how to make
pom-pom, to the end of this tutorial . I'm
using a pom-pom maker and of course
there's instructions here, if you want to
do it by hand as well, so it's completely
up to you. It's your creativity ,so have
fun until next time, have a great day
we'll see you again soon.
Welcome back to The Crochet Crowd as
well as yarnspirations.com. I'm your
host Mikey. Today I'm going to show you
how to make a pom pom, with a pom pom
maker that you may find in a store. I
picked this one up here in Walmart and I
know that they're in major craft stores
across North America as well. So what
this is, is that there's different sizes
of pom pom makers. This particular kit
came with all four sizes and they when
you open them up, you realize that you
think that they're broken, because
they're separate units like this, but in
actual fact, you have to have them
separate, it in order to do it. So some
people use for pom poms, they use
cardboard or they could use their hand,
in order to make pom poms. These have to,
I have to say, they make one of the most
perfect pom poms you'll ever see. So
today I'm going to show you how to
operate these and it's the same
operation for all sizes and I will show
you how to do that. So let's begin to
show you. So just put the two sides
okay, the outside hinge is going to be
toward the outside and the other one is
to on the other side. Okay match it up,
use the divots to hold, just like you see
here and just kind of pin it together. So
you're going to do it in a way that is
going to just hold it together as you do
it okay? So it's just going to be good
and they don't need to match each other
up there. It's just as long as you're
pinching here and it holds it and it
just, it's just lightly holding it. Once
you start wrapping it, it'll stick
together without you having to hold it
really quite tightly. So it's just a
matter of starting this and getting a
wrap
around a few times. So I'm going to use
my left hand to wrap and all I want to
do is fill in the space on this whole
half side. So I'm not going to jump over
to the other side as of yet and I just
want to continue to wrap. So I'm going to
go right up to this edge and I'm going
to go right up to this edge. Now you can
either count it out if you want to, if
you would like to be really, super, super
accurate with your counting, so that it's
equal on both sides of this tool or what
you can just do it just wrap it and make
it look like it works. Okay so because
this is varigated, I'm kind of just
jumping around a little bit and what I
want to do is, I want to continue to wrap
now and as you get more and more, it just
sticks together on its own. So once
you're satisfied with this, now you can
just cut your yarn. So now I'm going to
jump to the other side and pinning those
two, other two together, I'm going to do
the same thing and just start it and
wrap again, like I did the other side. So
continue to wrap this side and I'll see
you back here in just a moment. Okay once
you're satisfied with it, all you've just
got to do is trim this other yarn. So
what you want to do now, at this point, is
that you want to close this contraption.
So just close it and also open up these
clips and they are locking on to its
neighbor, but not opposite to each other.
So just close it. So just lock it and
lock the other side. So now the entire
ring is now full and now we're going to
then separate these and being able to
make the pom-pom. So the first thing that
we need to do, so we need to grab our
scissors next. So with the space that is
existing in between, just like you see
here, we're going to run our scissors
through and we're just going to start on
one side and work our way to the other
side. So just going right directly in
half okay and we're just going to gently
cut. I just do a few at a time, if your
scissors can't handle it and you do not
want to let this ring go. Everything is
being held into place as you're, you're
doing it.
Now the size of your pom-pom is varied
on the size of this ring, but also how
many times you wrap it as well. Then you
go right to the end. So you want to
physically see this gap as you go. So now
you're going to go back to the other
side. Do not let this fall apart on you,
again holding everything together, you're
going to do the other side.
You know there's nothing holding these
rings together, so you kind of want to
hold on to it at that point. So right now
I'm going to hold which I already am and I go
right to the end. So now the rings are
actually completely separated from each
other, but then it's still in the inside.
So just gently put it down and I need
you to grab enough strand. You know if
this material is not strong enough to be
tied, then you've got to use a different
material in order to do the tie in the
middle. So what I'd recommend for you is,
that grabbing the same amount of yarn
you're going to want to tie, about two,
three or four or five times, in the
middle, in order to really get it to
separate or to get it to really be
tight. So just grabbing your yarn and
what I like to do is, that I like to use
an extra strand of string, as I'm being
able to tie to my project. So just
slipping in between the two gaps, the gap
spaces, as you see here and you can turn
it around and just bring it to the other
side. Again being gentle about it and
just bring it through and you see the
hinging here? There is a space, so the
yarn we're going between that too and you
just want to pull it through and so just
you start to tie a little knot here. So
just let's do that. So let's just put
that through and really give it a good
tug and this is going on the inside of
this. Pull it enough so that it's going
to form it, but don't pull it enough that
it's going to ruin it. So then I'm going
to go to the other side now. Turn it over
and I'm going to tie this side. So see
how I just tied the other side? Now I'm
going to come to this side and tie this
side and I want to do that a few times.
So I'm going to use these two strands,
that are pulling, out as my tie strands
to go to the project. So I want to keep
those and I don't want to damage these
strings. So when I go to work with this,
I'll leave the note. So I'm going to tie
it, one more time and then we're going to
release this pom-pom, from the tool. Okay
so there's my strand. So now we're just
going to hold it by those two strands. So
now I can open up the tool, by just
releasing this these clamps on both
sides. So they're on both sides of the
work here and all I can do, is to open it
up now and it will release the pom-pom.
So there's one out and here's the other
one coming out in a second and there is
my pom-pom. So now holding it by the two
strings, so you don't accidentally cut it.
Now you just fluff it up okay? Look how
perfect that is. It looks nice and full
and you're just going to take your
scissors then and just any ones that are
just abnormally long or just didn't sit
right or just kind of looks like it's
not working well and you're just going
to safely just trim it, like this, in
order to form the pom-pom, like so. You
can give it a good shake and look at it
and that's how you would create a
pom-pom with that. So take this other than
string strands, that are here and you can
attach it to a top of the hat, really
quite easily and that's how you use all
these kind of little tools. So the size
of the tool, then gives you the size of
the compound. So if you look at it from
this point of view, see this pom-pom, it
kind of matches that. So if you're
looking for a bigger pom-pom, you can use
a bigger tool, like so. You'll have much
bigger and if you want smaller then just
like so. So until next time, I'm Mikey, on
behalf of Yarnspirations, as well as
thecrochetcrowd.com, enjoy and
hopefully enjoy your new pom-pom. I'll see you again soon.

Hello. I'm Maceál from Rapalje
and this shirt is from Faun, another band from Germany
We know many bands from Germany because we perform a lot in Germany
Ok, let's start with a question from Esmee.
She saw a live stream we did on facebook
we performed a complete show online, for you
And Esmee had a question about it
Well if you want an answer to that question
I suggest that you watch the next episodes or the Rapalje Show
To see what's coming up. We'll keep you curious
I've got a question from JustConnectTeam and also have questions to you
Can you write your name or your names in the next comment
so I know which person or which persons are behind JustConnectTeam
Ok, I will show you
We already recorded the basic tracks from the song Leezy Lindsey
Dieb and William play together then David joined with the flute like you saw last week
And now I have to perform with my accordion
This is the microphone setup you see
but let me start at the place where we tracked the recording first
We've got an Apple IMac with Logic Pro 10
and this is the tracks from the song Leezy Lindsey
and we use..
a MOTU 896mk3
digital interface
This is where the microphones go in
and where the headphones go out
One of the cables is leading to this nice microphone
this is called Edwina
We use this microphone. Which is the same type
but with a nice shock mount which also looks great on camera
with a pop filter
for the vocals
and this one is called Ear trumpet Labs Myrte
I use this microphone for the bass side my harmonica because I have to move a bit
and this is called the Sennheiser MKH 416 P48
And now the song will play
I have to put on the head-phones.
I have to clap to sync with the video
Will ye gang tae the hielands, Leezie Lindsay
Will ye gang tae the hielands wi' me
Will ye gang tae the hielands, Leezie Lindsay
My bride and my lover to be
So I went to Lyndsay's old mother
And a cantie old body was she
Oh Mon, if I was young as my daughter
I'd ran tae the hielands wi' thee
So I went tae Lyndsay's young sister
And a wee bonnie lassie was she
Oh Mon, if I was beatiful as my sister
I'd ran tae the hielands wi' thee
