all.

-Mango.

Sweet and delicious, mango is the largest source of beta-carotene, which the body converts

to vitamin A. Vitamin A is necessary for skin to be able to constantly regenerate.

If you do not have enough vitamin A in your body, the skin becomes dry and peeling.

Lack of vitamin A is the most common cause of hair dandruff.

Vitamin A reduces the chance of skin burning during sun exposure.

Other sources of vitamin A is autumn food like: carrot, pumpkin, young potatoes, sweet

potatoes.

-Almond.

Rich in vitamin E along with essential acids abundantly contained in almonds, they help

internal skin hydration.

I am Ju as you all know, I am Angolan, living in The Netherlands for about 16 years.

And I live about 15 minutes from Amsterdam.

Okay question number two...are you or have you been married?

I am married...

Question number three....How many chrildren do you have?

I have a son, his name is Christiaan... He is three years old...

Okay, my son doesn't speak Portuguese, but he understand it..

sometimes he says a word in Portuguese

I am doing my best

to teach him Portuguese, I also speak in Portuguese with him, But...

most of the time I speak Dutch with him

Why?

First because I thought

my English was not enough, to record videos

and to upload it on youtube

and at the time there wasn't a large Portuguese-speaking community on youtube... so...

I have never been interested, even knowing that the time was passing by

I never had

right...

The initiative to upload videos

two years a go, I decided to upload a video of my son crawling

So this was the first video I uploaded on youtube

But in private

so

After this I uploaded more videos, also in private

A year a go I started working part-time

so

I began to feel the need to

interact with other people

because

I was always taking care of my house

I did nothing else than cleaning, washing and ironing

and take care of my son... so... I had the need to connect with the world...

So that's when I did the first(official) video two months a go

and this video,

I uploaded it here

and this is how I started, right? This my story on youtube..

I work near my house as Nurse, but as nurse I work..

I don't know How to say it in Portuguese

But it is like this, when the hospital needs someone because one of their workers is sick. They call me

If I have time, I go to work there

otherwishe I say No

and I have my main job, thats medical assistant

right!

At this job I work 16 hour/week

Question number six... how is it to be mother and youtuber?

Being a mom and youtuber is nice, specially

when have a son like mine

Who likes videos and likes to be filmed

when I am vlogging or making a video

He always want to be there and be a part of it. So thats good

The only difficult part is when I want to edit my videos

and my son wants attention

so that is dificcult. What do I do?

So, I wait when he is sleeping at night..

For example, today... I am here

It's 21:00

He is sleeping, so now I have the time to record videos...

or edit the videos

This is the only part that I think is difficult

Because you make a plan,

To record a certain video, edit and upload on a certain day

and you can not, because your child needs your attention, so...

So my son is at the first place

Does your family live near you?

Or do you have someones help?

My family does live near to me

My family lives eight hours from here, "flying"

I don't have family here helping me

The only person who helps me, is my mother in law

She comes here to take care of my son

And my husband also helps me alot

for example when he is at home, and I want to record a video

He...stays with our little boy

He says go record your video and I will play with him

That's why I often don't talk on my cooking videos.

Why?

Because you can hear my husband playing with my son on the background.

So I prefere to use music on my videos

to not to disturb the video

How is it to leave abroad? and beeing a youtuber

What is the reaction of your neihbords and your friends? about your routine on the itnternet?

Okay, how is it to live abroad? Living abroard... I...

I am 16 years here

so I can't really compare living in The Netherlands and living in Angola... I don't know how to compare it

But I don't have problems with my neihbords

about beeing a youtuber, everybody thinks its okay

I didn't receive negative feedback

And think not everyone knows about it

and beyond this

When I am in public places... to record... at streets I have no problemes

But at the restaurants, as sign of respect I always ask ......for permission

I ask...can I film here?

If they say yes. I do film. and when they say no, I dont.

sometimes I am just a badgril

I record even they say no...

Question number nine... tell alittle about how it is to record with your son?

Recording with my son is wonderful

Look, guys... Do you believe that he

He sometimes takes my phone, because I record everything with my phone

And he starts to introduce himself

And he say, Hello (all in Dutch)... He says hello I am Christiaan..

right?! he introduce himself, I like it and he likes it too... It's really good, specially in the vlogs...

What has changed? Practically n...

It has changed. It has changed because I... in a short time...

I met, I have connected with a lot of people from all over the world

I connected with people from Brasil, for example...

From India, USA.... from all over the world

so

It has changed my life a little

Because I am learning a lot of things here on youtube.

Beside that, what has also changed, is that I am not only cleaning, washing dishes, doing my laundry

Things I was always doing before starting with youtube. Because of the fact that I am at home.

To play, why?

I don't want my son to feel abandoned

But my son is the most important

So I play with him

I do What I need to do

and I bring him to bed or when he goes to play in the backyard. Then, I do other stuffs

Because sometimes he loves to play a lone.

Interesting is the fact that our body is capable to produce vitamin D, if we provide enough

sunlight.

However, this can be a problem for the people who spend most of their time in closed and

dark places or people who live in areas with not many sunny days.

A very good solution to this problem is the consumption of low-calorie milk rich in vitamin

D, which will very quickly raise the level of this vitamin in the body.

-- Stronger bones The amount of calcium we get from food has

the potential to positively affect the bones strengthening.

A study conducted in Finland studied the change in the concentration of bones in girls at

the age from10 to 12 years, whose Daily Diet was enriched with cheese, calcium or a combination

of calcium and vitamin D. The girls whose diet was enriched with cheese had dramatically

increased bone mass in comparison to other the girls consuming no dairy products at all.

Due to what health issues did you contact Dr Vikram Chauhan and Planet Ayurveda?

I'd been suffering from Ulcerative Colitis from the past three years and I took a lot of allopathic medicines but didn't get any relief.

Where else did you go to seek treatment for this?

I've taken treatment from Meerut and Delhi also.

But, doctors said that I'll have to take medicines for a lifetime and even after that I had no relief at all.

What type of medicines were you given in allopathy?

I was given Tab Mesacol, Tab Azoran.

How much relief did you get from that treatment?

I didn't get much relief from it.

It would suppress for 5- 10 days but it relapsed.

I want to talk about today is kind of

an update for you guys of what I've been

doing and the reason why I haven't been

uploading that many videos anymore if

you started following me like a month

ago during the school holiday you'd see

that I posted a new video every other day

but then towards the end

of the school break I I got too busy and

so I didn't really have time to focus on

editing and those kind of things so yeah

I just want to tell you guys about what

I've been working on so as for

Dekthaiklaibaan or you know my English page and YouTube

I really want to work on my own online course

that's one thing and then

I'm also working on a book that I want it

to come out this year

I'm taking a writing course with one of

the legendary writers in Thailand and

he's going to help me to publish my book

and it's going to be about how you can

improve your English by watching youtube video

and I'm not just talking about

youtubers as in like teachers who are on

YouTube I'm talking about like generally

like how can you use YouTube as a tool

as a platform for you to improve your

language acquisition or your learning abilities

you know that kind of thing

and I just want to give you tips and tricks

on how I learned through YouTube

and I'm one of those people who believe

that the best way to learn a language is

to immerse yourself in it that is if you

watch a lot of videos if you read a lot

if you talk to foreigners and things

like that you just have to like create

an environment for yourself to learn, right

and if you can do that I surely

I strongly believe that your language will

improve dramatically so that's what

I want to work on like to transfer that

belief into a set of knowledge that

could be ...that's like a how-to for you to follow

and to just like like a how-to

guide for you to use YouTube as a

learning tool okay um yeah so it's quite

a challenge because apart from the

online course and the book that I'm

working on I also... I'm also a full-time

teacher the next semester will start next week

yeah so from next week I will have to

work during the day as a full-time teacher

teaching like 20 classes per week

almost to 200 students and then at night

I'll be working on these these

these types of things like Facebook, YouTube, my book,

my online courses so as you can see

like I'm basically teaching 24/7

I'm doing some kind of knowledge

management and like courses and stuff

all the time so it's going to be very

difficult and I just want to tell you

guys that these would be the reasons why

I would not be able to post YouTube

videos as often as possible

or as often as I used to because

as I told you guys yesterday on one of my statuses

that I posted on my page that

time management is the key to your adult life

byou really really need to learn about that

and the key to time management

is to prioritize which means

you pick what you want to do

and you focus on the most important thing to do

at the time so right now

youtube videos are not my priorities

like my youtube channel is one of my

work about it's not my priority right

now so I would like to put my time and

effort into making into creating a book

that would be useful for you guys

it should be done in about one or two

months and I'm not sure when it will

come out because I don't know the

process of publishing a book but I want

the first draft to be done by the end

of next month yeah so that that's my aim for now

and I really need to focus on that

if I want that to happen okay

let's see if if you have any questions

I'm sorry if you can't understand me

right now because this is my intention

that I just want to post video or like

live on Facebook with just speaking

English because a lot of you guys

actually understand more than you think

and you just keep telling yourself that

you don't understand English

and you're not good at English but it's not true

I speak quite fast so if you can still

understand like the main idea if you get

what I'm talking about and you

understand English you don't have to

understand every single word like 100 percent

the idea is to get what the speaker

is trying to tell you hmm okay

so okay someone asks how can I create

the environment to speak English okay

well if you're not living in a country

that speak English you have to bring

yourself to that environment you have to

create it yourself well there are many

ways that you can do that what I used to

do is that I used to just imagine like

I used to rerun I create a rerun of

what I watched that day or what I read

that day for example I read Harry Potter

right and there's this scene it I really

liked when Hermione ran into the

restroom following like the troll or

something like that from the first movie

and then Ron was trying to help her

and Harry was trying to like help everyone

and Ron remembered how Hermione

taught her taught him how to do the

Wingardium Leviosa spell so yeah

so I did that I created a rerun of that scene

on Facebook and then talk to each other

or give a presentation about

something that you care about or talk

about your day about a movie that you

just watched and then comment or give feedback

to each other you know

that could be one thing another thing

that you can do is to go online and find

a tutor or a foreign like tutoring service

in Thailand I saw that there are

a couple that looks interesting one is

Engoo,com I think it's that one that

My Mate Nate from YouTube made a video about

you know what I mean ENGOO I think

I think and another one is GLOBISH

think it's GLO B I SH or BL ISH

something like that those two websites

are service web sites where you can

become a member or like you pay them

somehow and then they would match you

with a tutor and that means that you can

talk to a native speaker and practice

that is bringing a foreigner to your

home without you having to go anywhere

and that's good because then

you get rid of all those problems or those like

assumptions that you have about yourself

for example a lot of people don't want

to speak English because they're afraid

that other people would laugh at them

they don't want to speak up in class

where there would be like 20 other

people listening to you when you make

mistakes you know those insecurities

will be solved when you just talk to

another person one-on-one like a native speaker

and those people are people who

are trained to be a teacher like me so

I don't care if you say something wrong

that's good that means you're trying

in your town or are like somewhere near

you are like a real foreigner

you have to create one in your head or

you have to go to one online okay

Melayu you you can speak Thai

Your husband is from Bangkok he can speak

standard Thai and he can also speak a

little bit of English and better than you

so then maybe you talk to your child

in Melayuor like bahasa Kelantan Melayu

whatever just one language right and

then your child will learn Thai when

when he or she goes to school

so let's omit that let's not talk to

him or her in Thai and then your husband

will

only talk to that the to the baby in

English so your baby will grow up in

with two languages one for the mother and

one for the father and then when he or she

goes to school the baby will start

talking in Thai right so that's

that's one way to create like a

different path pathways for the the

language that would be used for the

95 percent of my life in Bangkok I speak

also think in Thai and English but

our standards reflect who we are in

every aspect of our lives from our

relationship to how we look our finances

everything is controlled by our

standards furthermore these standards

were most likely set subconsciously

influenced by environment taught by our

parents and teachers in schools and most

of the times these standards are lower

than they could be which means we're not

reaching our full potential and this is

exactly why raising the standards are

extremely important to live a successful

life and reach our goals

so why you should raise your standards

the chances are that there are many

things that you think you could do to

improve your life like losing some

weight for example or getting extra

hours of sleep or maybe putting in an

extra hour of work or study yet you

never do that this is because your

standards are too low and by raising

your standards you turn your shoulds into

must which allows you take you control

of your life and reach your full

potential so let's start with

identifying the standards first we must

identify our standards in order to

improve them and that is done with the

simple self analysis how about your

appearance what standards do you hold

towards your weight and certain people

have a certain standards toward their

appearance models for example have very

high and clear standard and nothing

above is acceptable same goes for the

boxers who want to stay in a certain

weight class to compete the question is

what standard you hold towards yourself

and if you're happy with how you look

and how you perform then that is fine

but if you're not then you just identify

the area well you should raise a

standard what about your room is it tidy

and organized or is it messy and full of

chaos the state of your environment

directly reflects your standards for it

is your standard to be tidy and organized

person or do you accept yourself as a

messy and unorganized person because you

are what your standards towards yourself

are I want to share four areas of your

life well you can raise your standards

number one is health have you ever said

to yourself that you'll go to sleep on

time but you never do have you ever

thought to yourself that you will start

to eat healthier starting from tomorrow

but you never do then that's your

standard for your health if you actually

want to improve your health you have to

commit to it right now

number two finances do you have a

savings for a rainy day

are you following your spending

regularly if not then you probably

consider yourself as a person that is

bad with the money and that's exactly

right there is your standard of course

if you don't want to leave it like that

then you will have to do some work on

your standards towards your finances

number three is relationships your

relationship should bring you a joy and

happiness meeting your friends should be

fun and interesting rather than enforced

and for the sake of having the friends

who always needs your hand but when you

need something they're always busy if

you raise your standards here you can

have the friends that inspire you and

you look forward to meet them each time

number four your attitude your attitude

shapes your life from the very moment

you wake up to the moment we close our

eyes to get some sleep what we think we

are is what we are because our minds

shape us into reality and if you don't

like what you are then you have to raise

your standards towards yourself so how

to raise your standards by now you have

probably identified some unacceptable or

lower than expected standards that you

hold it might be spending money

ineffectively or eating unhealthy or

wasting time on unproductive activities

like watching Netflix or just randomly

browsing web there is a great method

by Tony Robbins whereby you identify

your existing standard and then you

rewrite it with a new belief it is a

thought process that has to be accepted

by yourself

we often wait until somebody is pointing

the finger into our face or we get

embarrassed or disappointed with our

low-hanging standards until we take a

notice of it and improve it but it

doesn't have to be like that it can be

self initiated process to improve

ourselves so here is an example you

current belief might be that you're bad

with money so you should rewrite this

belief and you could say it to yourself

I have full control over my finance but

this is only beginning

you must also act on this new belief

follow your spendings each week to see

where your money actually goes I decide

to give yourself a consideration period

for any purchase above a certain price

tag instead of spending your money

decide to transfer some of your money to

your savings account and that is how you

do it you identify the area of your life

where you want to improve your standards

and then you rewrite your existing

beliefs once you've done that look into

the actions that you can take

immediately to raise your standard don't

wait for tomorrow because tomorrow will

never come it is always one day away so

do it immediately and I've made it super

simple for you if you want to take an

action

I've prepared a challenge sheet so you

can take the knowledge that you learn in

this video and apply it into the

real-life actions over the following

week just before we jump into this

week's challenge I wanted to share

another example of standards from the

real life

I remember when I was in the school I

was very good at sports so what I was

expecting was to have only excellent

grades in sports any kind of sports

whether it was throwing or running or

jumping I was always expecting a

high marks and that's how I performed

whereas other guys who weren't as fit

they were quite happy to get average

marks and they actually were very happy

to get average marks because that's what

they standard were but if you have a

look from different perspective for

example in the math I would be quite

happy to get medium marks in math same as

they were happy to get medium marks in in

sports and those same guys who were

medium in sports were getting or were

setting their bar higher into the math

so they were performing much better in

the math I hope this helps to illustrate

that the point I'm trying to make that

the standards have set for each person

on each different subject or each

different topic and all you have to do

if you want to raise your standards is

to make it conscious decision and put

work and effort to achieve your higher

standards so finally this week's

challenge so this week's challenge is to

identify one of your standards for your

health finances relationship or any

other aspect of your life that you

deeply care about and raise the bar keep

in mind that it doesn't have to be a

significant change you can improve over

the time and raise your standards slowly

bit by bit to get your challenge sheet
