Spanish language differences Mexico - Spain | Ande Asiul - Duration: 6:50.Hey beauties!!! I am so happy to be back again
with a type of video that I know is the kind you like a lot!
before we get started, specially if you are new around here
I want to make it clear that
I am just sharing my experiences
as a mexican from Sonora
that came to live to Spain, Andalucia
to Jerez de la Frontera
everything that I tell you in my videos
are just my perceptions
you don't have to necessarily agree with me
these videos are not about what's correct
nor who is better than whom
it is just about learning and sharing
with what experiences we could find ourselves
maybe when going to a cafeteria
or when meeting someone
just things of everyday life
I will end this video with greetings for you guys!
so let's get started with this video and stay with me until the end
let's start with what is most obvious
if you are from Latin America or Spain
if you are learning spanish maybe it is not so obvious for you
in fact the idea of this video came to me when
I was talking with a friend from Germany
and he said to me "quince"
I said to him
you sound so Spanish
he didn't quite get what I was talking about
I guess he just learned spanish language
without realizing there is a difference in pronounciation from Spain and Latin America
in Spain the letters "z" ( before all vowels) and "c" (just before e and i)
are pronounced as the "th" sound in english
while in Mexico and I think all Latin America in general
we pronounce all with the "s" sound
we don't differentiate the z,c and s sounds
in fact living in Spain I learned of what seseo means
and ceceo
when you differentiate it means you pronounce differently the z,c and s
seseo means that you pronounce z,c and s the same way, with the s sound
and ceceo means you pronounce everything with the th english sound
another important difference is the use of "vosotros"
in Mexico we don't use "vosotros"
we use "ustedes"
for example, instead of asking "vosotros vais?"
we ask "ustedes van?"
another notorious difference is the use of past tense
in Mexico we use more the simple past tense
while in Spain it is more used the compound past tense
for example in Spain "hoy no he desayunado"
in Mexico we would say "hoy no desayuné"
I would use in Mexico the compound past tense to say something that I haven't done YET
for example, "hoy no he desayunado, pero ahorita ya voy a desayunar"
while in Spain "hoy no he desayunado" is definite
it is kind of complicated to explain, but I'm trying my best
another difference ...some alphabet letters
for example, the letter "doble u", as we call it in Mexico
in Spain it is called "uve doble"
in Venezuela, my friend Gibi told me it is called "doble ve"
the brand BMW in Mexico "be eme doble u"
in Spain "be eme uve"
as well as the letters v and b in Mexico we could refer to them as the small and the big "be"
another difference is "leismo"
in Spain it is very common
for example, "a Álvaro no LE vi ayer"
and in Mexico you probably wouldn't hear that
we would say "a Álvaro no LO vi ayer"
finally, another difference is the vocabulary
there are many words that have different meaning
from one country to another
stuff that we call differently
I have done some videos about it
and I will continue doing more
you can find them all in a playlist
I don't know if you have already seen it
the España - Mexico one
so you can find this type of video easily
if you just want to see these kind of videos
I remember a friend from France
he was living in Hermosillo (student exchange) for over a year
and obviously the spanish language he learned is the one we speak in Hermosillo
when he finished the student exchange program he went back to France
and after that he went to Barcelona for an internship
and I went to Barcelona to visit him
he told me that sometimes he didn't understand very well because
it was very different what he had learned from how people in Barcelona spoke
To end this video I am going to send some greetings
I will try not to repeat people I have mentioned before
in my previous greetings video or another one
because that way I have the opportunity to say hello to more of you guys!
and also we don't want this to be very long very long
either way if I haven't mentioned you in my previous video or in this one
please comment an emoji, your favourite one, or whatever you want
so I can know that I haven't mentioned you, but you see me and you are there
[subtitles after greetings start again at min 6:07]
and voilà beauties! these are the differences I am mentioning today
I hope you have learned something new
and if you didn't
well...
I'm sorry
either way leave me in the comment section below
some other differences that you have noticed
thank you so much for hanging out here with me!
if you liked this video please give it a thumbs up
and if you haven't subscribed already be a dear and click on the subscribe red button
to hang out a bit more with me
a huge kiss for you and I wish you a spectacular day and week!

FRENCH GIRL SPEAKS SPANISH, HOW TO LEARN LANGUAGES ? - Duration: 4:37.Hi everyone ! I'm Victoria, welcome to my channel !
Today it's the first video in Spanish that I make on this channel
For those of you who have already seen the other videos of this channel
You know that I'm living in Barcelona, hum, since September
And for the reason I speak Spanish, but I don't speak the majority of time
because at school I can speak English and Spanish, and because English is my "strong" language
I'm used to speak more English than Spanish
But I love living in Barcelona, it's a fantastic city where it's possible to do many things
There's sun all the time, the weather is warm, and people are nice
People (here) seem nicer than people in France
I decided to open this channel on Youtube to show you that it's possible to be, first, a girl
to go to college and study subjects that have nothing to do with languages
but still speak foreign languages everyday.
My studies are related to the field of health (chiropractic studies)
So they have nothing to do with languages.
That's why I'm studying on my side, at home, to improve everyday the languages I already know
It's not that easy because I don't have that much time everyday
I have to study and then revise the classes I have during the day,
And only after that, I can try a bit to speak, memorize new words
I started study Spanish when I was in high school
I studied Spanish for 5 years, until I was 18, more or less
but when I got out of high school I couldn't say almost anything in Spanish
just introduce myself, maybe, but that was all
So when I arrived in Barcelona I couldn't say a word
I was kind of blocked
I remember now, in the beginning here, it was a bit funny but a bit distressing
to make myself understandable to others
I had to learn once again everything that I had already learned in the past

INTERMITTENT FASTING - Should I do Intermittent Fasting? - Duration: 5:28.Should you do Intermittent Fasting?
Just watch this video till the end and you will get a clear cut answer as I go through
the advantages and disadvantages of intermittent fasting.
Stay tuned.
Hello friends!
Welcome to Fit Tuber.
First of all, intermittent fasting is not a diet but a dieting pattern in which there
is a window where you can eat and there is a window where you have to fast.
Now, there are a lot of versions of intermittent fasting but the most common and the practiced
one is the 16-8 method.
In this method, you have to keep a fast for 16 hours where ideally you should not consume
anything except water.
But then you are allowed to have green tea and black coffee without sugar.
And then comes the 8 hour window where you have to eat.
Now, in these 8 hours you have to finish your breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Now, you are free to choose the 8 hour window.
It could be from 9 AM to 5 PM in the evening.
Or it could be 12 Noon to 8 PM in the night.
Or 2 PM to 10 PM at night.
So, it is totally upto you as per your convenience.
Now, how does intermittent fasting work?
Actually, Intermittent fasting acts as a shock for your body.
When you do intermittent fasting, there are a lot of hormonal changes in the body which
help you effectively lose body fat.
Now, before we discuss what actually we should eat in intermittent fasting, let's talk
about it's advantages and disadvantages.
Well, there are a lot of advantages of intermittent fasting.
First is that, it drops the insulin level.
Let's understand it this way.
When you are fasting for about 16 hours, there is nothing inside your body.
So, your body starts utilising your fat cells for energy.
So, this is how you start reducing your fat.
Second is that IF is known to increase your human growth hormone by as much as 5 times.
Now, there are a lot of advantages of a high Human Growth Hormone.
The most important of all is that it increases your metabolism.
And the higher metabolism you will have, the faster will be your fat loss process.
Now, when you are fasting in IF, your body tends to increase the cellular repair processes.
For example, the removal of the waste from the cells is increased.
Then studies in animals have shown that the IF increases the lifespan.
There have been a lot of studies done on various organisms especially rats and each study has
shown a successful increase in lifespan.
But the sad part is that there have been no studies done of humans as yet.
However, the scientists feel that the humans would also get the same benefit.
Now, because there are a lot of positive hormonal changes which are taking place in IF like
decrease in insulin and increase in HGH, studies have shown that it has long term health benefits.
So, it can keep you away from diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer's
disease and even cancer.
Most importantly, in IF you are eating in an 8 hour window.
So, there are more chances of you to stay in calorie deficit.
Now, if you are looking to cut some fat from your body the most important thing that you
should do is stay on calorie deficit.
This is where IF is very useful.
So you can easily go below your maintenance calories and lose a lot of weight.
Now we have discussed the advantages that how great IF is.
Now let's discuss some disadvantages.
First of all you have to keep a fast for 16 hours.
Are you prepared for it?
Because there are a group of people who find it very difficult to get adapt to it.
And then there are a group of people who say the it takes hardly 2-3 days to get used to
it.
So this depends on you.
Now, because you are allowed to have black coffee in your fasting period, people tend
to go overboard with it.
This in the long run can be harmful.
One major problem which people generally face in IF is that they get obsessed with food.
All those 16 hours of fasting period, some people tend to think about food all the time.
Now, another side effect of IF could be lack of sleep.
Now, this could be because of high intake of black coffee or hunger.
Now overeating is also one problem which people generally face in IF.
You have to understand one thing that in that 8 hours of window you have to stay in calorie
deficit.
Just because you had a 16 hours of fast, it does not give you a license to eat as much
as you can in that 8 hour window.
I would suggest you to track your macros for at least a few days.
After some days you will get an idea and then you would know that you are staying in calorie
deficit.
Also, it is better to keep tracking your weight regularly.
Then some people may also face fatigue or lower energy levels.
But all these disadvantages depend upon person to person.
There are people who say that IF has completely changed their life.
Now, my last word is that IF is a completely safe way of eating.
Now, if you are able to practice it for long term.
Long term is important here.
Then go for it.
Because there is no point in doing IF for 2 weeks.
Your weight will drop and then you come back to the same position.
So do what you enjoy and what best fits in your lifestyle and preferences.
Now let's talk briefly how you should eat in IF.
My suggesting to you is that break your fast with fruits.
Then in the 8 hour window, have 3-4 meals.
Keep your meals high in protein, well balanced with complex carbohydrates, healthy fats,
vitamins and minerals.
Now, I have talked about each macronutrient and their major food sources in detail in
my grocery shopping video, the link to which is up here.
Let me know if you have any doubts about intermittent fasting in the comments section.
Please do not take the liberty of eating unhealthy food in that 8 hour window.
Because you can eat unhealthy food and still stay in calorie deficit but it will impact
your health in the long run.
So friends, I hope you found this video helpful.
Well, if you did, please do give it a thumbs up.
And also, please do remember to subscribe to my channel.

Why do we turn away from the life hereafter?
And dedicate ourselves to desires that'll disappear?
And why do we persist in loving a life
When only an ignorant will be deceived by it
You've arrived in this life, crying as a baby
Don't you want to leave happy from it?
We got drunk by the blaze of its whim
In fact, it diverted us from anything else
Until we forgot our God, Who is close to us
And meeting Him, death and that difficult day
That day we will realize what we have done
God has counted it but we disregarded it
I call upon you oh God, pleading privately and overtly
Hope depends on You

Woodturning Finishes & DIY Finish Accessories - Duration: 10:47.Hi, Alan Stratton from As Wood Turns. (www.AsWoodTurns.com)
In my woodturning projects, I use several different finishes
generally determined by the type of project it is and the size of the project.
For example, if I want it to be food safe I will use walnut oil or a mix of beeswax and mineral oil.
Hmmm. Smells good. but it is almost time to make some more.
For larger projects, I'll use lacquer or walnut oil
and for smaller projects, I'll use either shellac or lacquer
or there's always an advantage in any project of using beeswax and mineral oil
because it is a good utility finish and doubles as a sanding media
It is also time now to upgrade the containers that I'm using for the finishes
I lost the lid to this one
I lost the lid to this one also.
I did not have a container for my lacquer. I was using it directly from the can.
So, I purchases a kit, a finishing jar kit, from Craft Supplies USA.
and I brought it home. I bought it primarily because I did not think I could get a jar with a handle on it.
Well, it turns out that when I got home, my wife said "hey, I have a half a dozen of these
They are very common in preserving fruit and canning.
So...
This one is a kit.
This one is not a kit.
This one is a spice jar with an acid brush embedded in it.
So I can use it
Actually, I made this cap for the lid to decorate it
but, somehow, it did not get on there when I was gluing it together
So I'll have to use it on a future jar.
So, let's make, today, a kit version,
a non kit version from scratch
and a small spice jar version.
I'm starting with the kit. It comes with a pint jar, wood for the handle, 1 ½" screw,
and a brush with the handle sawn off. I've carefully mounted the brush in long neck jaws
holding on to just the bristles below the metal and centering the cut handle. This should
be enough since the only task here is to drill an 1/8" hole about ¾" deep into the handle.
This is awkward on a lathe but I could not see doing any better on a drill press.
Now for the handle. First, I want to drill the corresponding hole for the screw using
the long neck jaws. Then remount the handle between centers with
the live center in the hole I just drilled. I want a simple shape for the handle. This
is a utility object – The handle does not need to be an intricate finial. I want the
handle to fit my hand with sort of a knob on the top to ensure it does not easily slip
from my hand. After sanding, since this is a utility object,
I'm finishing with beeswax and mineral oil mix, parting off the top, and touching up
the tippy top. To assemble, I'm drilling the lid with the
same 1/8" hole. Then driving the screw half way into the handle. Then a short trip to
the grinder to grind off the screw's head. Finally twist on the brush and it's ready
to fill and use. Next I'm turning the smaller spice jar cover
and brush holder. I'm mounting a scrap piece of walnut in the deep shark jaws. After a
little rounding, I'm cutting a tenon on one end. Whoops it was a little too small.
I need to repeat the tenon a little larger. My tenon template broke – I need to make
a new one. Now, I'm reversing the walnut onto the tenon.
After a little bit of trimming, I'll drill a recess for the jar's lid. The recess will
be a little smaller and shallower than the lid. Then enlarge the recess to fit the lid
with a square corner scraper. Then switch over to a 5/16" drill for the
center. Then I switched to a ¼" drill so the brush handle would be a tight fit.
Now I'm remounting the walnut between centers using the previous mark on the headstock and
the hole for the live center. I'm using a cone for a live center. Now I can shape
a simple cap and integrated handle. Then sand, finish with beeswax and mineral
oil before assembling with a press fit. If it loosen over time, I will add some epoxy
but it does not look like I need it now. Now for the pint jar from scratch. Previously,
I glued two pieces of pine to both sides of the wooden brush handle. Now I'm mounting
the pine into the deep shark jaws with the bristles somewhat bent inside the jaws. I'm
centering the live center on the center of the brush handle before tightening the scroll
chuck. Now I'm turning the handle down to ½". I've cut down close to the metal
on the brush. Later I decided the brush was too high in the jar and made a spacer. Instead,
I could have left more of the pine to serve that purpose.
Next, I'm reversing the brush into the long nose jaws. Now I'm turning down the remainder
of the pine very carefully to avoid having the skew hit the metal. As noted, I should
have left this wood in place a bit longer and avoided the risk. I broke away the remaining
thin short grain pine. How about a little maple to cover the lid.
I am mounting a 1" thick square to the face of the scroll chuck jaws with tail stock pressure
while I do some initial roughing and cut a tenon.
Next I'm reversing the maple onto the tenon into the chuck. The task now is to cut a mortise
or recess to fit the jar's lid. I'm using a gouge to hog out some of the middle and
a square corner scraper to cut the walls. As usual, this is a cut, test, cut test, cut
test process until the lid fits. If I did not have a square corner scraper, I would
use my skew for this work. As I prepare to drill a ½" hole for the
brush handle, I'm doing this lid a little differently. Rather than drill the lid separately,
I'm securing the lid into the recess with duct tape. Then drilling the metal lid and
a hole thru the maple at the same time. This will ensure alignment.
Now I'm reversing the maple with an expansion hold onto the chuck. The lid size is also
a perfect expansion mortise. I'm checking the thickness to make sure it's not too
thick or too thin. Then sand and finish this piece.
Now I'm mounting another piece of scrap walnut to the long nose jaws. I need to make
a spacer to hold the brush lower in the jar. Leaving the pine longer would have avoided
this step. The spacer is just a piece about 1 ½" long with a ½" hole in the center
for the brush handle. Next, I'm mounting a walnut spindle between
centers. This will be the upper brush handle. After some roughing, I'm cutting a tenon
on the end. Size is not critical except to fit my long nose jaws.
Now, swap out the centers for the chuck and remount the spindle. This mount is so that
I can drill the end to fit the brush handle. After some roughing, I'm drilling the ½"
brush hole. Then capture the end with a cone live center.
This will stabilize the walnut while I shape a simple handle. Here again, it is a simple
handle to fit my hand with a knob to avoid slipping off.
And sand, finish and assemble. The only problem was that I did not include the lid cover in
the glue up. I realize it too late after the glue had grabbed.
The complete kit was $12.85. The spice jar was salvaged from our kitchen. The wood was
scrap. A set of three acid brushes was $1.13 for the small jar. For the jar from scratch,
the brush was $1.15, the wood was scrap. My drinking jar was free but a set of 12 on Amazon
is $19.09. I wish the jars were not glass but if they were plastic, I'd worry about
the solvents especially lacquer thinner attaching the plastic. So I'll just have to be careful
with glass. These will serve me for a long time. If I break one or need more, I'll
just turn another. I may put a balloon over the bottom to reduce slipping.
We'll see you again next week for another woodturning video. Please give this video
a thumbs up, subscribe and tell your friends. Always wear your full face shield –goggles
are not enough protection. Until next week, this is Alan Stratton from As Wood Turns dot
com. Let's keep turning.

I Keep Failing Even Though I Tried So Hard - Duration: 6:23.this topic is on I keep failing even
though I try so hard
hey hello my name is Augustus and I
learned about social barriers and norms
to help people become their true self in
life if you like my videos please hit
subscribe we are going to talk about
this notion of I keep telling even
though I tried so hard because that's
how a lot of us feel when we face a
problem sometimes it feels like we gave
all the effort that we have in the world
to try to break through something and to
do something that's seemingly small to
other people but it took a lot out of us
and we try so hard but the same things
just keep on happening and we don't
really understand why and the process
just keeps on happening again and again
and it's not like we want it to happen
but we start to just become used to that
pain and we just want to give up or just
not do anything altogether because if
you look like it's really hopeless
I mean who will want to keep on trying
after failing so much I know it's not me
but here I want to bring to you a couple
of points that I feel like might be the
reason why the cycle is happening and
this has a lot to do with community
having no community or bad community
really hinders you people usually
underestimate the power of community
first
you are your first community the
community of one you listen to your own
thoughts more than anything else you
listen to your thoughts more in other
people you talk to yourself
unconsciously or consciously or you know
that's happening so you are your first
community and if you don't have any
community then you are a hundred percent
your own community if you have bad
community then you have friends with bad
influence on to you and you start to
intake their negative thoughts principle
principles values and then you start to
believe in very limiting beliefs about
your thoughts you might even think that
you're not deserving of being alive or
that you as a person just suck that
you'll have no talents you have nothing
those things might seep in due to having
bad community and this is one of the
things that's often underlooked and it
will cause you to repeat repeatedly fell
again again because you don't have
support in your community as I always
say you become the average of the people
closest to you and if you want to break
out of this cycle you have to elevate
your company you have to find friends
find people that you know have your best
interests in mind and that are not
trying to tear you down as an individual
and surround yourself with them talk to
them engage with them share and
communicate with them as much as
possible this can be online this can be
with real people meet up face-to-face
one-on-one support groups and please
don't try to find people that are just
like you because if you surround
yourself with five people that are just
like you then you're not going to change
like you are still going to be you it
will be comfortable but it will not help
you grow into the social person that you
want to be find people that you want to
become in these friends with them
and surround yourself with them which
leads to the question for today where do
you want to be socially what is your
goal socially because what do you want

Alan Walker - Tired ( cover by J.Fla ) - Duration: 2:49.Cold hands red eyes
Packed your bags at midnight
They've been there for weeks
You don't know what goodbye means
Just roll up a cigarette
Just forget about this mess
Been waiting on the sidelines
From the sidelines
I see those tears in your eyes
And I feel so helpless inside
Oh love there's no need to hide
Just let me love you when your heart is tired
If your ghost pulls you up high
And it feels like you've lost who you are
My love there's no need to hide
Just let me love you when your heart is tired
And you whisper I'm alright
But I see through your white lies
But these walls don't talk
And if they could they'd say
Can't hide the secrets
You can't forget about this mess
I'm waiting on the sidelines
From the sidelines
I see those tears in your eyes
And I feel so helpless inside
Oh love there's no need to hide
Just let me love you when your heart is tired
If your ghost pulls you up high
And it feels like you've lost who you are
My love there's no need to hide
Just let me love you when your heart is tired

DICA DE INGLÊS: PASSAGEM DE TEMPO E O "PRESENT PERFECT" - Duration: 2:04.ENGLISH EXPRESS
Welcome once again to English Express, and this time Aguinaldo won't be interrupting us because
we fled the studio and are recording here at a Broadway theater.
Let's get started with those five worst swear words...
Amigo Gringo! What a happy day!
Aguinaldo! First of all, how did you get in here. And second, you're happy? No English problems today?
No, I didn't come here with an English problem. I came because I haven't seen you in a month!
Ah, I think you DO have an English problem.
You can't say "I don't see you there is one month."
Why, it isn't been a month?
No, no, it's because for that we use the present perfect tense.
I'm going to give you two options.
OK, but why is it "IN" one month and not "FOR" one month.
It should be "for", Amigo Gringo! ARGH, PREPOSITIONS!
I hate you English, you son of a bitch...
Calm down Aguinaldo! You can actually use "for".
You can use "in" or "for", whichever you want.
-Really? -Yes. For example...
Right! That's going to be just perfect when I see you a year from now. Bye, Aguinaldo!
In the next English Express, those five curse words.

Vanlifers New Zealand - Tauranga to Wellington - Odd Life Crafting - Ep. 1.12 - Duration: 12:37.We are arriving in Tauranga!
We will try to go straight to Marcela's house without looking at the GPS.
I reckon we still know how to get there.
We are back!
How are you?
Look who's here!!
Who's getting older today!
He ate right in front of the number 3!
Happy birthday to you!
Well done!
Again. Now is like that.
Yeah, are you going to turn it on?
I'll try.
I won't fly it, just turn on.
I don't have the courage yet.
Find a safe place: good weather, open area, avoid obstacles, avoid power lines.
It's everything wrong!
Actually, we are in a terrible place for that.
In the rain.
What a nice rain.
Here is our friend's garage here in New Zealand, in Tauranga.
When we came from Australia to go to Indonesia we stopped by to leave some stuff where.
We left for so long that has stuff on the top.
Let's have breakfast.
Come here with the uncle.
Let's have breakfast.
So, let's have breakfast.
Do you want to see how organized it is now?
We have a house now.
Semi-organized.
Semi-organized.
With time it naturally organize itself.
This way it was possible to leave the comfort of Marcela's house behind and start our trip.
Our house on wheels.
We were trying to understand the situation.
One van stopped to see something and we thought "let's stop too".
Second one went after the first and we decided to stop.
Nobody knew what to expect.
Then, when we looked there was a huge waterfall.
And nobody knew what to expected.
Sometimes unexpected stops happen.
We are trying to find the toilet of the sign.
It's here.
So cute. It looks like a little house.
Someone wanted to stop in the first public toilet that we found in a town on the way.
The good part of this country is that every town has a public toilet, clean and for free.
Now she comes, totally happy.
So, are you feeling lighter now?
I'll gonna miss this part of New Zealand.
What?
There is a public toilet in every single town.
We're arriving on the coast.
We have a ocean view now.
We finally find a place to cook our lunch.
Late lunch, almost dinner.
We have just one problem.
The stove is there and there is too much wind.
So we're separating everything we need to cook inside the van.
The water bottle we are using is from Indonesia.
That's true.
We just need to wait to boil it.
It looks like a ghost town.
The places are closed and it's still early.
It's almost boiling.
Today's breakfast is made out of we didn't eat during the flight.
Because they always give us too much food.
So, we saved what was possible to get into New Zealand.
We finally found a place to stop...
to try to escape a bit of the wind.
The wind didn't allow us to cook on the back of the van...
so, we needed to get the wood of the bed and try to do a shade and try to cook our food.
Is the lunch ready?
Yes.
Let's eat?
Let's eat before the seagulls.
So, we are having lunch at the south end of the north island of New Zealand.
Pasta with tuna.
The ocean.
And our house.
That's a good life.
If I were you I would eat now.
Why? Are you gonna finish it?
Are you ready?
Let's go. Are you ready?
Never!
So, are you tired?
I've stopped to rest.
Lazy girl.
The view, our house down there.
