5 contractions in spoken French - Improve your French #7 - Duration: 3:46.
Hello everyone, it's Pierrick.
In this video I'm going to show you 5 contractions in spoken French.
First before talking to you about the 5 contractions in spoken French. I wanted to tell you
that you should not forget that we make contractions in spoken French but we do not write them.
You should keep in mind that we don't write these contractions.
So the first contraction I wanted to talk to you about
is the contraction of "je" with the following verb which starts with an "s".
For example "je suis" will turn into "chuis" in spoken French.
For example I can say, "Je suis (chuis) allé au cinéma la nuit dernière".
The second contraction I wanted to talk to you about is the contraction of "je".
We drop the "e" of the "je" pronoun.
For example we say, "Je te (j'te) l'avais dit".
We shrink the "je" and "te" and say "je te (j'te) l'avais dit".
It's the same thing, and it's the third contraction, with "tu".
We drop the "u" for "tu",
for example, we say: "Tu as (t'as) raison."
We write "tu as raison" but we say "t'as raison".
The 4th contraction I wanted to talk to you about is the contraction of "il y a" that will turn into "y'a".
For "il y a" we only pronounce "y'a".
For example we say: "Il y a (y'a) 5 ans j'habitais à Annecy".
We say "y'a 5 ans j'habitais à Annecy" instead of saying "il y a 5 ans j'habitais à Annecy".
The 5th contraction I wanted to talk to you about is a common contraction. It's to drop the "ne" in negative sentences.
To make a negative sentence we need to use "ne" and "pas" but we often drop the "ne" in spoken French.
For example we say: "Ce n'est (c'est) pas possible".
Instead of saying "ce n'est pas possible", we say "c'est pas possible".
So we drop the "e" of "ce", the "n'" and we say "c'est pas possible".
I personally use these contractions in spoken French.
On the other hand, the more formal the conversation, the more I pronounce every syllable of the sentence
and I avoid contractions.
The more the conversation is formal and the less contractions I make.
And the more I want to express myself clearly, obviously the fewer contractions I make.
I use them a lot on a daily basis but I wanted to tell you to be careful not to use them too many times,
specifically in formal situations.
I hope you enjoyed this video, thank you for watching.

Why Don't Humans Live for More than 100 Years? | Physicist Geoffrey West - Duration: 13:12.
You can determine, calculate many things about organisms, about their growth patterns, how
they grow, how long they take to mature—and in particular one that concerns many of us,and
that is: how long we live?
What determines our longevity?
And, in fact, that's what got me into this work originally was I became very intrigued
in my fifties about the phenomenon of aging and of dying that I became more and more conscious
that things had been changing in my life in terms of my body and my physiology.
And that already I'd had friends die.
And so I became intrigued as to "what is that?"
And I also became intrigued very much as a physicist not asking what is the mechanism,
the systematics about aging and immortality, but the very question "What determines 100
years for the lifespan of a human being?
Why is it a hundred years, not a thousand years or a million years?"
And also related to that, why is it that a mouse, which is made of pretty much the same
stuff as we are (I mean we're almost identical really in some kind of coarse grained level
looking at things), how come a mouse only lives two to three years?
So what is determining all this?
And if you have this theory of networks underlying these scaling laws, manifesting themselves
as scaling laws, you first ask: is there a scaling law for lifespan?
So this is work that had already been done by many people; was to look at lifespan as
a function of size, for a bunch of mammals in particular but organisms in general, just
as we looked at how metabolic rate scales across these animals.
And what was discovered, what had been discovered was that lifespan also increases following
these quarter power scaling laws—that it increased systematically.
The one difference by the way, and maybe I'll say a few words about this in a moment, is
that there's much more scatter among the data for lifespan compared to things like
metabolic rate.
So even though there is a kind of predictability—that is, you give me the size of a mammal, I will
tell you on the average how long that mammal will live—there's much more variance around
that number than there is for saying "you tell me the size of a mammal, I will tell
you what it's metabolic rate is and what the length of its aorta is, how many children
it should have" and so on, where there's much less variance.
The variance is much tighter.
Lifespan has much more variance.
Now where does that number come from?
So you have this theory that the scaling of metabolic rate and these many other quantities—and
by the way there's probably 50 or 75 such measurable quantities—these are determined
by the constraints of flows in networks such as the circulatory system.
So one of the things you immediately realize about those flows is that they are what we
call "dissipative," which simply means they involve wear and tear just as, you know,
outside in those streets outside this building there's a lot of traffic going back and
forth on the roads and those roads wear out.
They have to be repaired.
The roadways have to be repaired and the subways have to be repaired.
They wear out from the traffic so to speak.
And so it is the traffic through our multiple network systems produce wear and tear.
And the most damaging wear and tear occurs at the terminal units, the terminal points
of these networks because they're the smallest tubes like in our capillaries or within our
cells and pushing fluid, pushing blood corpuscles or whatever it is, big molecules through them—has
deleterious effects of various kinds.
That causes damage, and that damage is calculable because you have a theory.
The theory is telling you what the flow rates and so on and all the sizes are and so on.
So these are calculable.
Now so you can calculate the rate at which wear and tear is occurring, and you can also
calculate something else that is going on, and that is: while it's being damaged there's
also repair going on.
And we do repair ourselves.
But that repair is also determined by metabolism.
That's where the energy comes from to do repairs.
So you can determine all these things and then you can postulate that the system will
become nonviable, that is it can no longer be sustained when a given fraction of un-repaired
damages occur.
So the system eventually just cannot be sustained and so that gives you a calculation of maximum
lifespan.
This is the, you know, if you were to do the best you possibly could this is as long as
you could possibly live for a given size of mammal.
And if you do that you can understand where, roughly speaking, this hundred years for a
human being comes from.
But more importantly or equally importantly you can determine what the parameters are,
the knobs that you could conceivably turn to change that lifespan.
What could you do to make that go from 100 to 200, for example?
And there's two pieces of that.
One is you can decrease, of course, the wear and tear, or you can increase the repair.
Those are the two obvious things, and there are parameters that determine that.
So if you think about the damage that is occurring from metabolism—so that means okay, one
way we could decrease damage is decrease the amount of food we take in.
That would be one way.
And indeed by the way, the reason a large animal lives longer than a small one is because
the metabolic rate per unit mass or per cell gets systematically smaller the bigger the
animal, corresponding to these quarter power scaling laws.
So less damage is done at the cellular level the bigger the animal—in a systematic way.
So the question is: how do you decrease that even further?
One is you can eat less, and that's called caloric restriction.
So if you put yourself on a starvation diet it may not be so pleasant in terms of your
lifestyle, but this would predict that you live longer.
And there have been experiments done, on mice in particular and some on monkeys, most of
which show an effect, and the effect is calculable in this theory.
And many of the experiments done on that agree with the data that's been taken—on mice.
There have been some controversial experiments on monkeys which have not shown as big an
effect.
So this is still very much a work in progress, but there's another way you could also decrease
your metabolism, and that's a way that is very difficult for us but interestingly is
very easy for almost all other organisms on the planet.
And that's to do with the fact that we are unique in that we are what's called "homeotherms".
Namely we keep the same temperature.
We discovered this extraordinary mechanism of keeping our body temperatures constant.
That is fantastic because it dissociates us from the external temperature, the environmental
temperature.
Everything else is subject to the ambient temperature in their environment.
And here's why it matters: It's because metabolic rate is derived from chemical reactions,
and chemical reactions depend exponentially on external temperature, on the temperature
which they're operating.
That means a small change in temperature can have a huge effect.
So a small change in temperature, a small increase in temperature increases your metabolic
rate exponentially.
So that's why if you look at insects in the cold—when they're cold in the morning
they can barely move.
They have to wait until the sun comes up to warm themselves and then they can start flying
around and moving around and so on.
That's true of lizards and so on, essentially everything that's around us.
We are immune from that and that's been extraordinarily powerful for us and a tremendous
advantage.
Going back to lifespan, that means that if you could lower your body temperature you
would decrease your metabolic rate and you would decrease therefore the damage, and you
can live longer.
And that is indeed true of organisms, all other organisms.
If you keep them at low temperatures they live exponentially longer.
They live much longer so it's a fantastic effect.
It's a huge effect.
And by the way one tangential remark for that—and that is a critical one in our times—and
that is to do with global warming.
One of the things that I think is a bit mysterious to many people, in the kind of intelligent
layperson, is that: why should one or two degrees change in the ambient temperature
around us make any bloody difference to anything?
After all where I live the temperature often changes by 40 degrees from night to day.
So we have these huge changes, yet the ambient, you know, just this little increase in the
ambient, in the average temperature have such a big effect.
The reason is that things like growth rates and death rates and everything to do with
growing and therefore agriculture, but the whole ecosystem, the whole biosphere is exponentially
sensitive to a change in temperature.
So one to two degree change has an exponential effect, and some of that is, from our viewpoint,
highly deleterious and some may actually be advantageous.
But I think this is an incredibly important point that—I'm afraid I'm a little bit
critical here of my colleagues who work in global warming—they have not been very good
at getting this across, especially obviously to politicians and especially, of course,
the politicians in the United States.
But going back to the more parochial issue of lifespan, if we were to take drugs that
could lower our body temperature (and this has actually been done for mice again) it
increases concomitantly their lifespan.
Decreasing their metabolic rate increases their lifespan.
And that's been seen and it is in agreement with the theoretical predictions.

Vain Joe Scarborough Attacks Trey Gowdy Over His Physical Appearance [Video]
Trey Gowdy recently interviewed Brennan about Russia who admitted that he has no idea if
their is any evidence.
Brennan even said "I don't do evidence".
"I appreciate that you don't do evidence, Director Brennan.
Unfortunately, that's what I do.
That's the word we use, you use the word assessment, you use the word tradecraft.
I use the word evidence.
And the good news for me is lots of my colleagues on the other side of the aisle use the word
evidence, too," said Gowdy.
"One of my colleagues said there is more than circumstantial evidence of collusion
between the Russians and the Trump campaign," said Gowdy.
"I don't know whether or not such collusion — and that's your term, such collusion
existed.
I don't know," said Brennan.
This was a major win for Gowdy.
So how did MSNBC's Joe Scarborough respond?
By insulting his physical appearance.
"First of all, Trey Gowdy, a couple of pro tips: First of all, can somebody get him so
powder?
Just a little bit of powder, put it across the top.
The shine is unbelievable.
And I speak, actually for America.
That's all people notice, Trey, when you're on TV." said Scarborough.
"I thought you were talking about me," Brzezinski interuppted.
"No, no, you–actually, very nice foundation there," said Scarborough.
Awful.

ANOTHER Democrat Busted For Fraud!
Former Florida congresswoman Corrine Brown was convicted of misusing campaign funds and
donations to a charity.
The charity was supposedly intended to provide scholarships for students, but it only awarded
one worth $1,200.
The rest of the money, nearly $800,000, appears to have been funneled to the personal accounts
of Brown and her staff.
Brown, a long-time member of Congress, lost her bid for reelection in 2016 amid these
charges.
Now another Democrat, this time a sitting congressman, is facing similar charges.
According to American Lookout, Rep. Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) has been accused of misusing
campaign funds.
Hundreds of thousands of dollars of campaign funds have made their way into the bank accounts
of Rush's wife and other organizations in which Rush is personally involved.
The Washington Free Beacon reported that Rush paid his wife over half a million dollars
from campaign funds.
An additional $190,000 went to a church founded by Rush.
Campaign records indicate that this has been occurring for upwards of 15 years.
An undisclosed amount of money also went to other members of Rush's family.
As if that were not enough, "more than $14 million in taxpayer-backed government grants
were awarded to a wellness center associated with the church he founded in Chicago."
Rush was elected to Congress in 1992 and began paying his wife ten years later.
His wife, Carolyn Rush, was reportedly employed by Rush's campaign committee, Citizens for
Rush.
In 2008, Carolyn Rush also received nearly $100,000 in "consulting services" fees
for the campaign.
In total, the Rush family personally received "more than a quarter of the campaign's
total operating expenditures."
Since 2008, Mrs. Rush has consistently received over $100,000 per election cycle from her
husband's campaign funds for a total of more than $550,000 in campaign funds.
Rush's actions illustrate much of what is wrong in Washington and with the Democratic
Party.
Rush's double standard, attacking President Trump for hiring any of his family members,
while simultaneously funneling hundreds of dollars to his wife are cause for his impeachment.President
Trump Gives Nasty Surprise To Obama and Merkel After They Tried to Embarrass Him In Germany
Barack Obama is making a fool out of himself as he follows President Donald Trump around
Europe.
His antics reached the height of absurdity as he met with Angela Merkel in Germany and
used that platform to sarcastically put down the Southern border wall.
However, Obama and Merkel forgot one thing as Trump lands in Germany and delivers a nasty
surprise to them.
You don't want to miss this.
What the fake news network, CNN, is calling a "political coincidence," Angela Merkel
met with former President Barack Obama and President Donald Trump on the same day.
Everyone knows the Obamas have been trolling the Trumps in Europe, first in Italy and now
in Germany.
"On a day of odd political coincidences, Merkel sat down with one President she calls
a friend and with whom she shares a political wavelength — Barack Obama, and another,
with whom she has had a frosty start — Donald Trump," reports CNN.
As Obama gave his speech in Germany, he talked about "borders" in veiled terms because
he is a wimp who can't directly confront Trump.
He works in the shadows, planning the demise of the president, but we all know that Obama
will fail.
"If there are disruptions in these countries, if there is bad governance, if there is war
or if there is poverty, in this new world that we live in, we can't isolate ourselves,"
Obama said.
"We can't hide behind a wall."
Obama's like a high school graduate who keeps going back to his old stomping grounds
to relive his pathetic "glory days."
He refuses to move on and is a has-been craving approval.
Merkel is up for re-election, so she nodded and smiled with affection as Obama delivered
his first speech since leaving office.
Germans are sick and tired of Merkel's pro-Muslim migrant policies that have caused mayhem and
bloodshed, and Merkel hopes Obama can help her get re-elected.
Obama and Merkel were in front of the historical Brandenburg Gate, a site that few politicians
are allowed to use for a speech.
Obama's lackeys pulled out all the stops to make Obama's sad comeback look like a
triumph.
This is where Ronald Reagan gave his most famous speech, demanding Mikhail Gorbachev
to "tear down this wall," speaking about the Berlin Wall.
President Donald Trump was well aware of the shenanigans by Barack Obama and Frau Merkel.
That's why just hours after Obama made those comments about the wall, Trump delivered a
nasty surprise that put Obama and Merkel in their place.
While speaking in front of NATO, the president was dedicating a piece of the Twin Towers
to be side by side with a piece of the Berlin Wall.
At the podium, he turned his head and stared directly at Merkel for a good 20-30 seconds,
which was a message in itself, then he said, "Today is a day for both remembrance and
resolve" and that the attack demonstrates "the depths of the evil we face with terrorism."
It was quite a solemn moment, and everyone there knew Trump was sending the German Chancellor
and her favorite pet, Obama, a crystal clear message.
How dare they sit up at the Brandenburg Gate and preach for open borders.
How dare they ignore the biggest evil in the world after little girls were just slaughtered
by Islamic terrorism only 36 hours before.
Too bad Obama wasn't there because Merkel looked down, quite embarrassed.
Barack and Michelle have been staying in million dollar villas while trying to undermine the
will of the American people.
Obama was rejected, and his candidate, Hillary Clinton, was soundly beaten.
So, what part of that doesn't he and Michelle understand?
They are the lowest of the low, evil actors clinging to their globalist socialistic ideas
who won't accept that they failed in their takeover of America.
They need to get back on their private jet and accept defeat.
Patriots are standing with Trump, making America great again.HE'S LEAVING Sean Hannity Shocks
Viewers With Sudden Announcement
Sean Hannity has just announced that he is going on vacation for the rest of the week
after he found himself in hot water over his reports on murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich
and his unproven communication with WikiLeaks.
It is not known whether or not Hannity's vacation was preplanned.
Independent Journal Review reported that Kimberly Guilfoyle announced on Wednesday that she
will be taking Hannity's place for the rest of the week.
This comes as Hannity continues to face the threat of advertiser boycotts even though
he backed off on his Rich coverage on Tuesday night.
Media Matters, the same group that convinced 90 advertisers to abandon Bill O'Reilly
before his firing, has already gotten two of Hannity's to jump ship as well.
Cars.com and Peloton have each requested that their ads not air during Hannity's program.
The fact that Hannity is taking a sudden vacation is especially chilling, as that's exactly
what O'Reilly did immediately before he was fired.
Hannity has indicated how desperate the situation is on his Twitter page:

… GETS A BRUTAL RESPONSE!
It is no accident that the Obamas showed up in Italy this week at the same time President
Trump's and the First Lady's scheduled trip to Rome – the third leg of the Trumps'
first foreign trip in the White House.
Freedom Daily reported that the Obamas kept their plans to travel to Italy under wraps
until the last possible minute hoping to steal the spotlight and garner wider attention from
the press.
"On Friday, the former president and first lady touched down at Grosseto Air Base in
Tuscany, their private jet accompanied by six Eurofighter Fourth Wing jets," according
to the Daily Mail.
"The Obamas, who have been on multiple vacations since leaving the White House in January,
will reportedly visit Florence and Siena during their vacation.
They are expected to fly out on May 25."
On the day the Trumps were scheduled to arrive, the Obamas garnered the attention of the paparazzi
with pictures showcasing Michelle wearing a provocatively off the shoulder blouse while
visiting a Catholic Cathedral.
This immediately backfired when Michelle was widely panned in the Italian media for violating
the church's dress code with her ridiculous outfit.
After this little stunt, the media stopped reporting on Michelle and instead chose to
focus on Melania, who was the epitome of conservative grace and elegance when she met with Pope
Francis.

Obama!

Even MORE Unsolved GTA Mysteries! | @ArcadeCloud - Duration: 7:46.
Welcome back
to our countdown of the Greatest Mysteries
of Grand Theft Auto V.
I'm Dave Control with ArcadeCloud
and today, we're rounding up a list of the GTA mysteries
that still have players scratching their heads
till their scalps bleed.
Let's begin.
Blaine County Motel.
In Sandy Shores
you'll come across the Blaine County Motel
an establishment that was abandoned by its owners
and once you know it, you can enter it and explore.
During the day, you come across the hobos and druggies
that call this tetanus trap home
but the big mystery begins after the sun goes down.
According to those that have experienced it
the motel is known to be haunted
with voices appearing to come from inside the walls.
You may even hear pounding, scraping
and other sounds that may convince you
a demon is currently occupying this estate.
It gets all the creepier if you're lucky enough
to hear what sounds
to be the ear-piercing wailing of a baby.
So a few questions obviously remain.
Are these really the noises of the dearly departed?
If so, how did they die?
How did the motel become what it is in the game?
Well, you may want to book a room
for yourself and find out.
The Jetpack.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
introduced the fan-favourite vehicle to the franchise
the jetpack.
When it was announced that GTA V was to take place in Los Santos
the fan base was certain
that they'd be embracing their inner James Bond yet again
with a next-gen jetpack to end all jetpacks
an expectation Rockstar was well aware of.
So they did what any loving developer
would do for their fans, drive them crazy
with a metaphorical trail of bread crumbs
that may or may not lead to the jetpack
they waited nine years for.
One of the hints regarding the jetpack is found on a logo
painted on the Trevor's hangar of a flying goat
labelled Jack Sheepe Servicing Tri-Manifold R-108.
"What the hell does this have to do with jetpacks?"
you ask impatiently.
Jack Sheepe was a real-life male porn star
that acted in the porn parody of the jetpack-wearing superhero
The Rocketeer.
We'll give you two guesses
as to what The Rocketeer's porn parody name is.
The R-108 is the porn parody's runtime
108 minutes long.
Bow chicka bow wow!
As you can imagine, hackers got impatient
with Rockstar's antics
and took a peek into the game's code
to find remnants of a jetpack.
This has led to many to hold onto the hope
that it may be added to the game as DLC for GTA Online
at some point in the future.
Of course, this could just be another elaborate middle finger
but, hey, one can dream, right?
The Kraken.
In the off chance
you've gone your whole life without hearing the line...
Release the kraken.
A kraken is a legendary sea monster
that has dominated pop culture for centuries.
Said by legend to dwell off the coasts of Norway and Sweden
a kraken is a massive tentacled beast
that can tear apart entire ships.
While absolutely nobody has seen a kraken in the game
there is evidence that one could live
or had visited within proximity of Los Santos.
Said to be found in the deepest part of GTA V's ocean
called The Abyss
players have found the torn up remains
of giant ships, airplanes
and even UFOs on the ocean floor
leaving many to deduce
that the kraken pulled them down.
You can even find entire whale skeletons
picked completely clean.
The leftovers of an ideal kraken snack.
If the kraken does exist within the game
it probably resides deep within the ocean
to depths that the in-game submarine can't sink to.
But just before they have to bail
players claim they've heard very strange
and unique calling noises before retreating to the surface.
Clever, Rockstar, very clever.
The Epsilon Program.
The Epsilon program is a religion
based on the GTA universe that feels a bit more
like something of a cross
between a pyramid scheme and a cult.
After all, those that pledge their lives
to this collective
forcibly recruit random folks only to brainwash them
and make bold promises of eternal happiness
glory, and spiritual enlightenment
at the cost of their entire bank accounts.
Out of fear of being sued for slander
we can't say we've ever heard of such a thing
happening in our reality, especially not in Hollywood.
Just who the hell are these guys actually?
Well, a few clues hidden throughout the game
appear to indicate that
there's something beyond a merry band of zealots.
The biggest clue players have caught onto
the fact that the sun in Epsilon's logo
resembles that of an eye
a symbol associated with Illuminati.
Eyes are also frequently found
throughout the city of Los Santos itself
on various structures and buildings
like the Penris building.
Penris.
These titbits have led many players
to believe that Epsilon is actually
the GTA universe's version of Illuminati.
And considering the fact
that they manipulate others into doing their bidding
under the guise that it's for their own good
it's not that far of a stretch.
Bigfoot.
Ah, yes.
What would a Grand Theft Auto game be
without everybody going completely bonkers
over alleged Bigfoot sightings?
Fans rejoiced
when they discovered the legendary Sasquatch
in the mission Predator
in which Michael uses a sniper rifle
with thermal vision
to take out the O'Neill family from a helicopter.
If you know where to point the scope
you can see the thermal silhouette
of the real Bigfoot standing behind a tree.
But was that really Bigfoot?
In the post-game Franklin mission titled The Last One
we join a hunter as he's on the verge of tracking down
and hunting Mr. Foot himself.
However, Franklin soon learns that
Bigfoot isn't Bigfoot at all, he's a guy in a suit
a guy that looks suspiciously similar to Jimmy Hopkins
from Rockstar's other game Bully.
With this upsetting detail
some fans were convinced
that the Bigfoot seen in the Predator mission
was just some dude with a fur fetish.
It's perfectly normal
to admit to being aroused
role playing dressed as a fantastical beast.
Others are not quite convinced.
The Bigfoot seen in Predator is ambiguous.
We never see anything other than this thermal outline
so it could be that there were two Bigfoots in the woods
one real and one a costumed freak.
Even if the one seen in the earlier mission was
the guy in the costume
that's not going to stop a good amount of fans
from scouring the map for the real deal
until GTA VI comes out, eventually.
The Riddle of Mt. Chiliad.
Here we are, folks,
the mother of all Grand Theft Auto V mysteries.
Hell, it may even be the most complex
and elusive mystery in the whole series.
No, wait, the biggest mystery in all of gaming
found at the summit of the massive Mount Chiliad
is a mural of a mountain covered in markings
that wins conspiracy theory Bingo
containing everything from UFOs to all-seeing eyes.
But what exactly does this mural represent?
Is it a secret message? Is it a map?
It's a bit of both as far as we can tell.
Over the years, the community has deciphered
bits and pieces of the mystery
one of the first being a message at the bottom
that tells players to return
when they've achieved 100% completion.
Given how big of a game GTA V is
this mystery is an instant pain in the @#$%!
Once you've done that
you begin to see the mystery unfold.
The player base eventually found that the mural fits
well over the Los Santos map
and eventually several secret locations
scattered throughout the city.
Some of these locations are places
in which UFO sightings can occur
but only if you're at the right place
at the right time.
Others deduce that
it has something to do with player choices
that influence the game
a map that shows the player the road
to choosing all the right actions
to take when dealing with key characters and scenarios
in order to achieve some kind of reward.
Players that have peered deep into the game's code
have even found remnants of the mystery
hidden deep within the game's files
like a model of an alien egg, much like one seen on the mural
but alas, still no cigar.
To add fuel to the flame
Rockstar has been asked about the mystery quite a few times
often on their technical support hotline
and have declined to comment on the matter
while not denying that there is no mystery to be solved
or confirming that it's already been solved.
Much like the amount of licks
it takes to get to the centre of a Tootsie Pop
we may never know.
There you have it, folks, part two of our top mysteries
in Grand Theft Auto V.

The Truth Behind The Cyclops Goat - Duration: 5:13.
If you've seen this one-eyed goat frolicking around your social media feeds lately, you
probably assumed it was a hoax and moved on with your life.
Well, it isn't.
It's very real.
Here's everything you might want to know about the cyclops goat.
The cyclops goat of India
According to National Geographic, a pretty remarkable one-eyed goat was born in a village
in Assam, India, on May 10, 2017.
It has a rare condition called cyclopia, which occurs when the developing brain doesn't separate
into two hemispheres.
Only one eye socket forms, and you end up with only one central eye.
Cyclopia can be caused by toxins, but it can also happen because of messed-up genetics.
Because of other cranial deformities that cyclopia causes, animals with the condition
don't usually live very long.
However, the cyclops goat in India has proved everyone predicting his death wrong so far
— and has even gained some fans.
India might even be the perfect place to be born if you're a cyclopic animal.
There, animals — especially those with some kind of unique feature — are sacred.
Since this goat was born and continues to beat the odds, it's become a sort of local
attraction.
According to its owner, the goat is good luck, and others must believe this too since they're
flocking to the goat in droves.
The goat has gotten dozens of daily visitors who want to see for the miracle kid for themselves.
The origin of the cyclops
How did our fascination with one-eyed creatures start in the first place?
It probably all dates back to ancient Greece, when locals discovered some old bones that
didn't match anything they'd ever seen before.
Already known for making up some pretty fancy myths, the Greeks got creative.
Such is the case with Deinotherium giganteum: a primitive elephant that once lived on the
island of Crete.
But because its enormous trunk left a huge hole in the middle of its skull, it's possible
the Greeks found some fossils and mistook the pachyderm for a giant one-eyed monster.
What else besides an eyeball would fit in that that big skull hole?
As far as humans go, most with cyclopia never make it to birth, and only one in 13,000 live
births have the condition.
And no, they don't immediately start conquering villages.
Cyclopia is such a severe birth defect that most babies born with it simply can't survive
long.
Today, we know not to believe random cyclops propaganda, but that doesn't mean we're free
from the cyclops menace.
There are many examples of modern-day cyclops that have joined India's goat in the pantheon
of one-eyed wonders.
"Cyclops there, cyclops there…"
The cyclops sheep of Idaho
One interesting case from the past actually sheds light on the cause of cyclopia.
In 1957, a number of sheep in Idaho were giving birth to lambs with one eye.
So the U.S. Department of Agriculture was called in to figure out what the problem was.
For the next 11 years, top officials hung out in the wilds of Idaho trying to figure
out what had gone wrong with that particular generation of sheep.
After spending several summers hanging out with sheep, a determined researcher named
Lynn James figured it out: the sheep were poisoning themselves.
The corn lilies they ate during droughts contained a toxin which didn't hurt mother sheep, but
did harm their fetuses.
In a dubious honor, the toxin was later named cyclopamine.
But hey, cyclopamine might not be all bad!
It's now being investigated as a possible treatment for tumors in humans.
Thanks for taking one for the team there, sheep.
The cyclops kitten
In 2006, an adorable Ragdoll kitten was born in Oregon with just one eye.
"Cy" the kitten had holoprosencephaly, which is the clinical term for the rare congenital
condition that can cause cyclopia.
Combining a cuddly feline with a bizarre abnormality was viral gold in 2006, but Internet cred
wasn't enough to save Cy, who lived only about 24 hours.
Cy almost lived a second life on display at an unusual venue when a developing creationist
museum in New York purchased him.
According to the museum's curator, John Adolfi, Cy's new purpose, in addition to being the
museum's mascot, was to foster debate about religion and science.
While the Lost World Museum never opened, Cy did get featured on a series of pretty
interesting postcards.
The cyclops shark
In 2011, a fisherman in the Gulf of California made a somewhat unusual catch: a pregnant
dusky shark.
When he opened up the shark, he found a cyclops shark embryo looking back at him.
The embryo was about 22 inches long and was the only cyclops of its nine unborn siblings.
The shark was then sent to the Interdisciplinary Center for Marine Sciences in La Paz, Mexico,
for X-rays, where scientists confirmed it was definitely a cyclops.
It isn't the only shark of its kind, though.
A few others have been discovered over the years, but they've all been embryos, since
one-eyed sharks can't last long in the ocean.
The cyclops goat of Texas
Our one-eyed goat friend in India isn't the only cyclops goat in recent years.
The good ol' USA has had its own for a little while back in 2012.
Born in St. Lawrence, Texas, the cause of its cyclopia is believed to be a hormone imbalance
that didn't affect its twin, which was born with two normal eyes.
Unfortunately, the Texan cyclops goat only survived about two weeks, due to a deformed
mouth, which left it unable to eat properly.
Death wasn't the end for this one-eyed wonder, though.
He later received new life between the covers of the 10th edition of Ripley's Believe It
or Not!, where most people probably don't believe it.
But they should.

THE FACT THERE'S A LOT OF GROWTH
IN INDUSTRY AND
MANUFACTURING IS
FLOURISHING IN THE U.S. BUT THE
PROBLEM IS THAT WE ARE NOT
ATTRACTING THE TALENT.
THERE IS A SKILLS GAP.
IT IS FRUSTRATING BECAUSE THE
JOBS ARE THERE AND
THEY ARE
THERE FOR GROWTH COMMUNITIES BUT
WE ARE NOT GETTING PEOPLE.
SOLEDAD: DO YOU THINK SOME OF
THE ISSUE IS JUST
THE P.R.
AROUND IN PEOPLE THINK OF
FACTORY WORK VERY DIFFERENTLY

OPPORTUNITIES IS IT MOSTLY FOR
YOUNG PEOPLE
OR ALL ABOUT
STRATEGIZING HOW IN MIDDLE

SOLEDAD: WHAT ARE THE SKILLS
THAT ARE LACKING?
ANNOUNCER: PART IS PROBLEM
SOLVING, MATH SKILLS BUT HAVING
STUDENTS THAT CAN COME AND BE
ABLE TO WORK ON THINGS.
IN THE REGULAR HIGH SCHOOLS
TODAY YOU DON'T HAVE MACHINERY
THEY HAVE IN
FACTORIES SO YOU GO
IT A TECH COURSE THE MACHINERY
COULD BE 30 YEARS.
MANUFACTURES ARE GOING TO
SCHOOLS AND PUTTING MACHINES IN
THE SCHOOL AND SAYING
WE WILL
PAY FOR THIS.
WE WILL HELP YOU DO THIS BECAUSE
WE ARE LEARNING THAT RECRUITMENT
IS IMPORTANT.
SOLEDAD: DO YOU HAVE MONEY TO
RETRAIN ADULTS?
THEY NEED
WORK OR UNDEREMPLOYED.
ANNOUNCER: MOST STATES OFFER
PROGRAMS.
MANUFACTURERS TAKE ADVANTAGE BUT
WE HAVE COMPANIES THAT WILL HAVE
100 OPENINGS AND
THAT IS
FRUSTRATING.
IN A COMMUNITY THAT HAS PEOPLE
LOOKING FOR JOBS WHY ARE
THEY
NOT CONNECTING?
SOLEDAD: WHAT IS THE ANSWER?
ANSWER THAT QUESTION.
DENNIS: IF YOU
LOOK AT A
COMMUNITY YOU HAVE TO REACH OUT
AND MAKE THEM UNDERSTAND.
WE HAVE ENGINEERS DESIGN
MACHINES AND
BY THE WAY THIS
FACTORY BUILDS THERE THING THAT
HELPS THE WHOLE COUNTRY OR HELPS
THE
WORLD, HELPS THE ECONOMY.
WHEN YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS
CALENDAR.
I CAN DESIGN SOMETHING THAT
BUILDS SOMETHING OR GROWS
SOMETHING THEN I THINK YOU HAVE
A DIFFERENT LOOK.
SOLEDAD: WHY HAVE AMERICAN
MANUFACTURING COME BACK.
ANNOUNCER: DURING THE RECESSION
AND IT
IS MORE EXPENSIVE TO
PRODUCE IN THE U.S. SO THOSE HAD
TO BE MORE EVER AND MAKE
A
BETTER PRODUCT AND BY DOING THAT
THEY WERE FORCED TO GO TO
ROBOTICS BUT THEY GROW AND NEED
EMPLOYEES AGAIN AND THAT GROUP
THAT HELPED THEM DO THAT ARE
GETTING READY
IT RETIRE IS WE
ARE LOOKING AT IN MANUFACTURING

Eliot Jackson's Giant Glory Advanced | GMBN Pro Bikes - Duration: 4:55.
- Alright this dude he is well known
for wearing slippers out there in the race paddocks.
His name is Eliot Jackson and this
is his Giant Glory advanced pro bike check.
(upbeat rock music)
Right I'd like to start off with the frame.
This is the Giant Glory Advanced.
The front triangle is full carbon super slick looking.
On the rear here it's an aluminium,
aluminium or aluminium rear triangle
and in the middle here you've got this Rock Shock
shock right here it's a coil and
that is 200 mil of travel and on
the front you've got a rock shot boxer
and that again is 200 mil just
to soak up all those huge hits.
Alright moving on to the drivetrain.
Super aggressive set up here 'cause
it's a downhill bike obviously.
It's a Shram XO full carbon crank arms.
It's 36 tooth sprocket on the front.
It's got an MRP chain device there
to keep that chain locked on that front ring
when all those bumps are trying to get that thing off.
Moving on to the back again XO on the rear,
seven speed derailleur and that's a 10 by 21
and that is real small.
Right to keep his feet in those pedals
he's got these HT X2 down hill pedals clipped in.
Looks like he's got no pins on that
I'm going to have to ask him that question.
Right when it comes to the wheel build
it's super aggressive.
Front and rear built to take all those heavy hits
and then the rubber that surrounds those rims
are these Schawlbe Magic Maries
and there are 2.35 inches in width.
Super aggressive tyre a lot of grip in these tyres.
And then we're moving on to the braking power,
the skidding power,
he's got he's got avid codes and these
are 203 rotors that's quite a lot of stopping power.
Alright moving up into the cockpit
where the man himself guides this beast
down the mountain in style and steez.
He's got Truvativ descended bars and stem to go with it.
The stem's 50 mil in length.
The bar is 25 mil wide and moving
on to the grips he's got some ODIs here.
Avid codes front and rear and a nice Sram XO
shifter to go with it to complete his cockpit.
Moving on to the saddle here he's got
a giant connect saddle real plush and soft.
And his seat post is really high
I'm gonna have to ask him why.
Right Eliot Jackson you're here to talk me
through your own bike 'cause I've
been talking about your bike.
Is there any cool things about this bike
that you'd like to have done.
Like settings.
- You know I feel like everything's pretty standard.
I feel like the theme is like everything's really soft.
My pedals the cleats are really easy to get out of.
My grips they got the you know the fatties
on there everything's soft.
Spokes are a little bit soft.
The suspension's a little bit soft.
- Works tyres a bit soft.
- Everything. - Nice.
- It's just plush.
- Alright bar length what is a ride length for you.
- 790. - 790.
- Got the aeroplane in there.
- That is nice hey five mil off each side.
- Yeah. - Okay okay.
Seat height is that depending on the course or is it...
- No it's meausred I dunno what it's at but it's high.
I didn't realise how high I ran it but it's up there.
- You gonna go on a cross country ride?
- Yeah yeah that's for the pedalling to the track.
That's the main thing.
You can't get tired on the way to the track.
- Reach on your breaks?
Quite close quite far?
- I don't have it measured out it's funny
that I measure everything by my seat
so like I have my seat height set
and that's measured but then I set my breaks
by like just a lean back and a feel.
- Get the perfect riding position.
- Yeah just right in between the little knuckle there.
- Okay so crank arm length do you like
a short crank a long crank?
- Yeah the 165s.
- You've got 165s on there.
Alright are you super picky about things
or just not picky?
- Picky would be suspension for sure.
Suspension and like geometry like fork height.
And then I like my pedals to be really loose.
- Really loose yeah.
I see you've got no pins in there.
- Yeah no pins like I like them to just feel
like I'm running flats.
- Like your on oh.
- Well like I guess I like 'em to feel really like squirmy.
Yeah get me there.
- Like you're running flat pedals like you said.
So what size frame are you running.
- I'm running a large.
- Nice okay. - Large frame.
- Ah dude thank you so much for showing us your pro bike
and the viewers out there.
And we're stoked to know what all your setup is all about.
And if you wanna what another pro bike
is all about click just down there
and if you wanna be steezy and whippy
and just get in that bike super sideways
just like this guy right here
click just here and how to do that.
- If you wanna subscribe it's uh just here.
- Just click here and you won't miss another video.
And give us a thumbs up like if you love this bike.

Where you want me
But it's all in your mind
I came to party on my own
Don't need nobody in my song
I get down to the beat I lose control
Yeah, oh, I go
So so lo
Boy, you can cool it down
Not here to fool around
Just wanna dance, dance, dance
Dance, dance, dance
I know you want me
But I don't care, baby
Just wanna dance, dance, dance

video! last month I introduced this
challenge and explain to you guys that
every month I was going to be showing
you guys everything I rented from Gwynnie Bee so you actually joined in with
this challenge and I don't think I made
it explicitly clear in the first video
but I would love it for you guys to join
in so I created a hashtag it's VOTxGB30
use that hashtag i will actually be
able to find your post so I first want
to just start off this video by giving a
shout out to everyone who joined in so
it's like amazing for me to like click
on this and see you guys's posts I want
to give a quick shadow to through thick
and thin she's on the smaller into the
spectrum and I loved seeing that because
going to be goes all the way down to
size 10 so it's really great for those
girls were sort of in-between like
regular size and plus size it's awesome
especially since like if your weight
fluctuates or anything you were always
going to be able to find something that
works for you so she shared quite a few
photos only god where's my favorite this
one love it thank you oh my god this is
such a beautiful shot they also want to
give a shout out to Kay joy low 24 she
actually rented the same like speckle
dress that I got to rent which is so
cool were like we're like dressed
sisters Elif want to say a thank you to
crushing 89 this is a beautiful dress
that you rented looks so good on you
maybe a little bit jealous and I
immediately closeted it because I was
like oh my god that dress is so
beautiful so I am so thankful to
everyone who joined in I also had
someone who shared something on Twitter
event I feel like there was more than
one thing but I can't find them all this
is from Karen Townsend she shared a
little photo set of all of the things
that she rented from quani be it was
awesome to see you guys actually trying
the service out and falling in love with
it so if you would also like to join in
on this challenge signing up we're going
to be it's free get the first 30 days
free so you can try it out of course
you'll love it
so you can go ahead and click my link in
the description bar down below to go
ahead and sign up and then use the
hashtag VOT xgb 30 to share your looks
with being that way I can feature you
guys every month I'm so excited with my
quantity membership I have the five
items at a time membership so I'm able
to kind of hold some stuff back if I
want like in one instance actually held
one thing back for a couple of extra
days because I wanted to take it with me
to LA and we'll get to that when we get
to it but I'm always able to kind of
always have something new
which is really awesome I think of the
five item a time is the best happy
medium because if you find something you
really love but you're not sure if you
want to buy it yet you can kind of hold
on to it you can still trade back for
items so that's just my personal
preference for the membership that I
want to run through the items I was able
to rent am not going to tell you how
many items until we've kind of gone
through them all the first is the Rachel
Roy jacket you guys have already seen
this it was awesome I paired it with a
black dress from universal standard love
it so beautiful the next piece is the
Gabby Skye dress which kind of gives me
a Kate Spade vibe and since Kate Spade
doesn't make plus size clothes I was
stoked to be able to kind of like try on
that preppy style preppy is not like my
everyday modus operandi it sometimes
it's fun to mix it up and try a
different style the next piece is the
gorgeous Effie's heart dress I love
renting from you at these heart they're
super comfortable cotton dresses with
pockets the length is just great on this
love the color everything about this was
like super cute super comfy and I was
excited to see someone else actually
read this and share it with my hashtag
so thank you so much it was so cool to
see that the next dress from Julian
Taylor this one runs a little bit big in
my opinion it was just way too big for
me and like the shoulder area and weight
to begin the waist but I love the color
layout of this I love the hot pink
juxtaposed with the black and white the
print is gorgeous and I know they also
do this in blue I would love to see this
in more colors and I just need to remind
myself to size down in this brand the
next piece is this American Rag top it's
super cute and bohemian paired that with
a pair of jeggings I think a sort of an
even cuter with flare jeans but I own
any flared jeans maybe I should try to
rent some and then a cute pair of
Birkenstocks I love Birkenstocks super
comfy great little like mid summer
outfit next piece is also from American
Rag and I love this dress of a super
super close like pulling the trigger and
actually purchasing it but it was about
four inches too short it's beautiful and
very comfortable and in the fall time
was to be great to wear the pair of
leggings but this was so short I even I
couldn't even wear like any shorts
wonder to kind of like prevent chub-rub
or anything and you know the whole thing
about that his levels got a big booty
and so it was a bend over hazard to with
it so I'm going to have to pass on
purchasing it but it was still really
fun to wear I did wear it out
and I was just a little self-conscious
about my butt the whole time but no but
but I'm pumped so this next outfit is
it's reefer this is the Johnny waz
jacket loved this was really close to
buying it but it was just a little more
expensive than when I wanted to spend
about two hundred twenty-one dollars to
buy this and I probably would have been
more interested in purchasing it if it
had been made out of like something like
silk but it wasn't out of rayon and I
just can't bring myself to spend that
much on a rayon item even though the
fabric did feel kind of amazing it was
very luxurious and I did take this with
me to LA I did hold this back for a
couple of days so I almost wonder if I
could have rented more items if I hadn't
held onto this for so long he tank top
that I'm wearing that it's a peplum top
from city chic I love City chic they're
one of my favorite brands to rent from
glennyb and then the jeans that I'm
wearing are from Melissa McCarthy these
ones don't fit me all that great but you
know not everything is a winner and it
was great to wear pair jeans not have to
wash them and send them back I'm a
really big fan of not having to do as
much laundry when I have my going to be
rentals this next piece is from keyonnah
and this dress is like sex on a stick
it's a true wrap style dress you do
actually have to like pull it through
and I guys tell you guys some little
self-conscious about my boobs sometimes
I just like I don't know I don't want
wear like low cut stuff very often but
in this dress I felt very very sexy and
I kind of want to introduce the idea of
wearing some more like low-cut things
into my wardrobe but I get a little
self-conscious about it and I think it's
because like I remember being 18 and
having like wildly inappropriately older
men stare at my chest and it just made
me really really uncomfortable but now
I'm a 32 year old woman and like God and
take a look they're sexy as hell like my
attitude about my body is starting to
change a little bit and you know that's
that's all part of like body positivity
and embracing our bodies and kind of
stopping the body policing because I've
been you know policing my own body this
next piece is the dress that I'm wearing
now from Donna Rico it is a bright
fuchsia hot pink it is so much fun to
wear I got so many compliments on this
dress is absolutely just insane like how
many people were like oh my god I love
your dress this next piece is from
Universal standard which I previously
mentioned in this video love this brand
it's a good like super high quality Plus
Size basics brand this top is
interesting because it's
rust shirt but it has a really high
hemline on the sides it's like super
extremely curved and it doesn't it
doesn't slide down all the way so it
doesn't have the gapping at the bust and
it works really well for tying up the
way so I bought this item it was $31 I
thought it was a really good deal on it
and this is going to go so good with
like my like long maxi skirts or with my
eye pants from pin-up girl clothing my
doroth pants was really cool like 1940
sells Hauser's that I have so I thought
that this would work in my wardrobe in
so many different ways so I decided to
pull the trigger and purchase it this
next piece is a jumpsuit and I you guys
know kind of nervous about renting a
jumpsuit and try a jumpsuit that I put
it to like a challenge to myself to
actually try to rent acquit a jumpsuit
so I prioritize a ton of them and I'm
like if I prioritize like a whole bunch
of jumpsuits they've gotta send me
something so this is one they sent me
it's from a brand college it a I like
that this one was a little bit different
because the bottom is made of a need of
a navy color and the top is black so it
gives you a little bit of like a break
up in it and this was super comfortable
you can see me wearing it here I went
grocery shopping after this and kind of
like held around in it all day and then
I wore it again that weekend I kind of
jazzed it up with some jewelry and worn
out from dinner with friends and it was
super comfortable so I am now a jumpsuit
convert I was really kind of
apprehensive about it because I had
tried jumpsuits before and they did not
work for me so I kind of wrote them off
as something that I couldn't wear and
now I'm like holy crap how have I been
missing out on jumpsuit this whole time
I want all the jumpsuits now also
shout-out to my sequin covered fanny
pack it's super fabulous let me know if
you guys want to see a video all about
fanny packs so this next piece is
something that did not work out for me
like at all so this is a dress from a
brand I've rented before actually this
exact dress and since Isabel and Alice
dress and I rented it last fall and I
loved it it was like one of my favorite
things I've ever rented the beautiful
body con just really like comfortable
lightweight dress this version of it
just didn't work and they've actually
pulled it from the site so that kind of
goes to show me like this this is a
company that's looking out for their
customer because you can read the
reviews they're not good for this tress
and so it's actually really like good to
see that this company is like hey you
know what just didn't work for pulling
it no big deal and so I really
appreciate that they listen to customer
feedback then my final outfit is a tank
top from torrid and this great skirt
from Juna Rose Geno Rose's the company
have had really good luck with renting
from Gwen EB especially like bottoms
I've rented some super cute shorts from
them I wanted to give them a whirl with
the skirt and the skirt is awesome it's
made out of a French terry material so
it's really like comfy it's basically
like wearing a skirt made out of like
sweatpants but it has that cool
distressing on it so it actually looks
like distressed denim and it has pockets
yeah I kind of had to have it so I
bought this one I was super excited went
on the glennyb site right away after I
tried no no like this is comfortable
it's cute onside it was only 20 bucks so
that was pretty awesome a really great
deal and so we have the final tally I
rented 15 items in 30 days that means
every other day basically I had
something new to wear which is just
freakin awesome
it also breaks down to about nine
dollars and 26 cents per item which
again is an incredible steal it means
that like I mean if I had actually gone
out and bought all this stuff it would
have been over a thousand dollars it
would have just been like crazy amounts
of money and a lot of these things are
high-end brands like keyonnah johnny was
Donna Rico like a lot of these like
Julian Taylor these are expensive brands
to be able to like rent them for nine
dollars and 26 cents an item it's kind
of amazing so that is my 30 days of
quantity video I am so thrilled with how
this turned out I am so excited to
feature you guys so again if you'd like
to be featured
make sure that you sign up for glennyb
I'll have the link in the description
bar down below and then share your looks
at me with VOT xgb 30 if you're an
existing member I want to see your looks
I want to see what you're renting I
already got some cool ideas with a
closet based on what you guys rented it
was so cool to see like different body
types and stuff because of seeing
plus-size is a huge size range they
cover sizes 10 through 32 see that your
Inbetweeners and you have your higher
end of the plus-size scale and i think
it's amazing we can kind of all come
together and create this community for
ourselves that's what I'm trying to do
with this feature you guys show you guys
what I wear and that's it thank you guys
some
for watching I will see you in my next
video remember to vintage or tacky your
own kind of beautiful see bye

10 Reasons Why You Should Travel the World Right Now! - Duration: 8:01.
You're traveling the world, but you're not
quite sure how to get started.
You're in the right place. In case you're
new, we're Marko and Alex, the Vagabrothers,
and we've been traveling the world for
the last five years. During that time
we've learned how to make big travel
dreams happen on small budgets, and now
we're sharing our favorite tips, tricks,
and hacks on how to turn your bucket list
into reality. This is the first video in
a brand new series about how to travel
around the world for cheap. This video
is going to give you 10 reasons why you
should travel the world, not next year,
but right now. The information in this
series can be used for trips of any size:
two weeks, two months, or two years, but
there will be extra information for
those of you planning the ultimate
adventure - a full year around the world
known as, " A Gap Year." We're releasing new
travel- tips videos all summer long,
covering everything from the basics ,like
where to go, how much it costs, and what
you need to hit the road, to super pro
travel hacks that will save you money,
time, and stress when you are out there
traveling the world. So if you haven't
already, make sure you hit the subscribe
button and turn on notifications so
you're first to know when we drop each video
from this series. For now, just sit back,
relax ,and get ready for some serious
wanderlust.
You're watching Vagabrothers, and this
is how to travel around the world.
So first things first,
why should you travel the world?
Why should you leave behind everything
familiar to go halfway around the world
for weeks, months, years at a time? In this
first video, we're going to be discussing
the pros and the cons of taking time off
to travel the world. Even the bravest
souls have enough doubts to kick the
idea down the road until next year.
For those of you who are still in school,
not only do you have to convince
yourself that's a good reason, you also
to convince your parents. Here's a
list of 10 reasons why you should travel
the world right now. Travel sounds great,
but why should I do it now?
Number 1: life is short ....the sad truth
is death can come to any of us at any
time, and when it does, you want to make
sure that you don't have any regrets.
That's what your bucket list is all
about.. things that you want to do before
you kick the bucket , the bucket being a
metaphor for your life ending,
If traveling around the world is at the top
of your bucket list, why are you putting it off?
Beyond that, the older you get, the
harder it is to take time off. Life keeps
throwing new pressures at you: first get
in a good school: then get a good job:
than a promotion: then a family: then kids
and a home. Sooner or later, you've realized
that your whole life has passed by and
you haven't done the one thing that you
wanted to do: travel.
That is why you should
travel the world now because when it
comes to travel, having enough time is
more important than having enough money.
The older you get, the more money you have,
but the less time you have. So now that
you're young, you might be broke, but
you've got time.
No matter what age you are, just
realize that it is easier to put your life
on pause now than it will ever be again.
But what about more immediate
practical things that my parents would
care about, like my education?
There's only so much you can learn from
books, Travel teaches from experience ,and
experience is the best teacher of all.
What better way to learn about history
than hiking up Machu Picchu, exploring
Angkor Wat at dawn, or wandering
ancient Roman ruins?
That's what makes travel so
valuable because it opens your mind and
broaden your perspectives. But what if
you have no idea what you want to do
with your life , dude?
First of all chill out.
You've got your whole life to figure
that question out.
And as cliche as it sounds,
travel can help you find yourself.
Sometimes we don't know who we are, and
what we want to do until we step away from
family and friends and tune into our
inner voice. After college, I traveled
through Southeast Asia, started blogging
and storytelling, which eventually led me
to team up with my brothers to found
this channel.
That's because travel gives you the
space to just be you in a way that you
could never do back home. If not for
travel, who knows what we'd be doing.
I'd probably be like Ben Stiller at Night in
the Museum, honestly. I'm a history and
anthropology major; that's like my only option.
I'd be a male stripper. Okay.
But dude, shouldn't I be like working?
There's no reason that travel can't help
you get experience in your career. If you
plan to study medicine and become a
doctor, why not volunteer delivering
vaccines in a clinic? Or if you're just
working to earn cash, why not do it abroad?
Seasonal and short-term jobs are a great
way to finance long term travel.
Dude, don't they like speak a different
language there???
I barely speak English, man.
Traveling abroad is a great way to
learn a new language, an essential asset in
our global economy. Why not brush up on
your high school Spanish by taking a
trip through Latin America? Trust me,
you'll be fluent in no time. Listo?
Vamanos!
- especially if you find a local lover.
They say the best language teachers are
between the sheets.
Okay. I can get behind that.
But Vagabros, do you really think I
can pull it off ? I mean, I can barely even
fry an egg. Sure you can.
Travel teaches you one of life's most important skills:
self-reliance. You'll feel a lasting
confidence once you've been able to
navigate India's train systems or learn
enough Chinese to order a meal.
All right Bros, but when I get back,
how do I get a job?
Besides being the experience of a lifetime,
travel can be a great resume builder.
Tell your interviewer about the time
your backpack got stolen in Bangkok.
You had 50 bucks and 48 hours to replace
your passport and catch a flight home.
That shows resourcefulness and calm
under pressure. But there are some drawbacks
to travel, so let's talk about the cons.
Travel sounds great, but what about money?
Travel is not as expensive as you think.
New planes that are super
fuel-efficient are making travel costs
really low. Would you believe me if
I told you that you get a non-stop
round-trip ticket from LAX to Europe for
less than 500 bucks? Once you're on the
ground, there's plenty of ways to keep
your travel expenses extremely low.
We're going to talk about that in a different
video, but for now just know that you
don't have to break the bank to travel the world.
What if I don't the time?
I just got to grad school. I can't put that off.
Well, most schools will allow you to
defer for up to a year, and if you just
landed a good job, ask your boss if you can
start in a couple of months. Even taking
a couple of weeks to travel before
diving headfirst into work is worthwhile.
But be careful because you might catch
travel bug. But seriously, Bros, I've been
watching the news. Is it safe to leave the
country right now? True, the world does
seem like a dangerous place right now,
but most places are totally fine.
Seriously, don't believe everything you
see on the news.
But what are my parents going to say?
I'm a man, but still a child.
Parents worry about everything,
and whether or not you're
a fully grown man or woman you
are still a child to your parents.
Pause this video, take some notes. We've
given you plenty of good responses to
all of their concerns. Don't worry.
Parents freak out, but eventually they
will come around. Have we convinced you yet?
Traveling around the world does not need
to be a dream. Let's make it a reality.
Stay tuned for the rest of this series
to find out how to make it happen.
Starting with the next video: the cheapest and
best countries around the world to visit
right now. Alright guys and girls if
you've enjoyed this video, you know what
to do: give it a thumbs- up, drop a comment,
ask your questions and stuff in the
comment box, and if you have not already,
remember to subscribe and turn on
notification. Share this video with your
travel buddies. In the meantime, stay
curious, keep exploring, and we'll see you
guys on the road. Peace.

Winx Club Stella Harmonix Transformation Witty Toys Doll Review German - Duration: 7:06.
Hey everyone CindyWinx here
and today I will be reviewing Stella Harmonix from Witty Toys,
and as you already can hear
I will be doing it German.
This is the second time I'm doing a review in German
and yeah I really like it,
it's a fun language to speak :)
And if you want to hear me speak in another language
let me know and I will try to do it.
So let's start!
Stella Harmonix is made by Witty Toys around two thousand and twelve
and is the first transformation from the fifth season,
as you can see she is the old version
and still has the bendy legs,
cute face
and the old wings.
Now lets' look at the stuff that she comes with:
The first thing is her membership card,
it has Flora, Stella and Bloom Harmonix in the front.
And Bloom Harmonix in the back.
The second thing is her Harmonix box shape brush,
which is covered in glitter
and is in a light yellow.
Now let's look Stella herself,
Stella has pink lips and dark yellow eyes.
Her first layer of eyeshadow goes from a light yellow into a light pink,
the second one goes from a white into a light pink and ends in a bright orange.
Her hair is in a light blonde,
and she has two side-bangs in the front,
the rest is in a ponytail into the back
and is held together with different rubber bands,
two of them has light orange
fishnet on it
which is covered in glitter
and the other one is just a see-through rubberband.
The hair goes until her heels.
Now let's look at her clothes,
Stella is wearing her Harmonix dress, her top is in a shiny orange
with a gold ribbon on top and white fishnet with glitter above it.
Her skirt part is in two layers
of light orange fishnet
which is covered with a lot of glitter.
The second layer is a finer fishnet than the first one.
In the back she has a third layer
that goes until the ground and than a second one
that is a bit shorter.
Underneath she has light orange underwear
that is attached to the dress.
Her shoes,
they are in a bright orange color
and are swirled around her legs,
on the top of it there is a little shell molded in.
As last we have her wings,
they are covered with light orange and light pink glitter
and are in a see-through plastic
with
a shiny pink diamond.
In the back you can make her wings flutter
by pressing the little button and they will go up and down.
You can pull them out,
and they look like this.
And then just put them back in.
So this was my review for the old Stella Harmonix from Witty Toys,
here's a quick look on the difference between the old one
and the one with the new face.
So which one do you like the most?
The old one or the new?
I prefer the old ones because there face is so cute.
So yeah
thanks for watching!
And don't forget to comment,
like and subscribe and I will see you guys soon with another video!
Bye!
Stay Magical!
