In this lesson video you will be presented with the Spanish verb "estar", its uses,
and its conjugations.
The infinitive "estar" means "to be" in English.
Earlier, you learned that the verb "ser" means "to be".
These two verbs are used in different situations.
We will focus on the verb estar in this lesson.
The "yo" form of estar is "estoy".
"Estoy" means "I am…"
The "tú" form of estar is "estás."
Notice an accent mark should be used over the "á".
"Estás" means "you are".
It is the familiar way to address someone.
"Está" means "is".
It can be used with the subject pronouns "él or ella."
It can also be used with a subject that is one object or one person's name.
Finally, when used with the subject pronoun "usted", "usted está" means "you
are".
It is the formal way to address someone.
Notice an accent mark should be put over the "á" in "está".
The "nosotros/nosotras" form of estar is "estamos".
"Estamos" means "we are".
We do not use the "vosotros" form in this class.
It is only used in Spain.
"Están" means "are".
It can be used with the subject pronouns "ellos, ellas, or ustedes".
It can also be used with a subject that is more than one object or more than one person's
name.
Notice an accent mark should be over the "á" in "están".
It is important to know when to use "ser" and when to use "estar".
Right now, we will learn when to use "estar".
The acronym P.L.A.C.E. can help you remember when to use estar.
Estar is used in sentences to describe:

In this course, you will learn how to use estar to talk about position, location, condition,
and emotions.

For rice dumplings from the north, we use cooked rice
well northern rice dumplings
are made with cooked rice
and they use uncooked rice in the southern Taiwan
then they boil the rice dumpling so it turns soft
Rice dumplings from the northern Taiwan use pork fat fried rice
yes the rice is similar to pork fat fried rice
so the northern rice dumplings are ready to eat?
Nah you need to steam them before putting them on the table
after the rice dumpling is wrapped
steam them with a steamer
the aroma of the leaves then would come out
how many rice dumplings do you make every Dragon Boat Festival?
It depends usually around 4 to 5 thousands

MILLE MIGLIA 2017 | Arrival in Rome & Driving - Duration: 7:56.
Hello and welcome from Rome
I've just came back from the Fuel Faction tour on Sardinia and now I'm here
visiting the Mille Miglia
tomorrow I'm driving with them
the first cars have just arrived and let's see what's going on here
I can barely breath
I'm in a park somewhere in Rome
and there is so much going on. All the nice classic cars arrive here
and they drive to the entrance where each car gets introduced
we have seen several Ferrari speciale
also F430, 458, 488
F40, F50 we have seen almost everything
now we are in the park and there are only the old beautiful classic cars
it is so tough, because you can barely breath
but of course back then, they didn't care about exhaust emissions
Wow that is really breathtaking here
all the classic cars coming through here
over there is the time stop and all people are cheering and applausing
that's insane!
I have no idea about classic cars but it is very entertaining to watch it
I have put myself on the road of Mille Miglia
and indeed it is very hard to stay under the radar with the Porsche
Because actually there are only Italian cars around me
in the rear mirror I can count at least 3-4x 458 Speciale
there were two in front of me a couple of minutes ago
it is such a great feeling how happy everyone is
but I am convinced that they are happy because of all the Ferraris behind me and not the Porsche
but nevertheless it is a lot of fun!

Let's see how far I can drive with on the Mille Miglia road
I'm driving from Rome to Parma right now
we departured later than all the participants
but that's not a problem because you meet supercars all the time anyway

and nobody cares!
Even the police is guiding all cars on the correct roads

Steph: And I was watching so much Mark Crilley at the time! Adam: No way!!
Steph: And he was advertising that Micky Falls manga at the time!
Adam: So Mark Crilley has been helping you for like, a decade!
Steph: Yeah seriously! I have been watching Mark Crilley videos since I was 15, 16!

Adam: Whoa Steph: And he still makes videos! That's crazy! Adam: Everybody knows who Mark Crilley is!
Steph: Oh.. I spent ages on the background on this Adam: You have perspective going on and everything!
Steph: There is quite a lot of reasearch involved in this as well
Steph: We had to do a bunch of observational stuff much to my dismay because I really just wanted to focus on the anime!

Steph: Then I have got one where of a Cola Can! Adam: Oooh! When I was in school we had to do a crushed can that's like another staple of art class in this country!
Steph: I dont even like fizzy drinks or cola but these I can vouch for!
Steph: *GASP* I don't think they even put dream chocolates in uhm... Heroes? Adam: They still do those but they're not round any more they are half ones!
Adam: We're getting so distracted talking about the size of chocolate! *laughs* Steph: It shows its age!!
Steph: That used to be my keychain because It said Stephanie on it! Adam: That's cute!!
Steph: And everyone always used to buy me that same keychain for birthdays and Christmas because it had my name on!

Adam: I was back when Toonami used to be on Cartoon Network years ago!

Adam: Whoa it has changed again, what is this?! Steph: This is a classic example of a one eyed character that I just covered with a fringe!
Adam: it's funny how in previous Doodle Date's we've talked about how we have all done this and you've done it too!
Steph: And this one, I have stapled this over that because I probably didn't like the eye?
Steph: So I thought you know what, that looks like a stronger eye!

Adam: Oh! It's like realism! Steph: I used to draw a lot of birds! I just noticed because as you know I draw a lot of birds and this dates back to when I was 13 or something!
Adam: Is that like a bear? A Teddy Bear?
Steph: I think these are drawings of things that people got me for my birthday? And I included my watch in it
Steph: It was a little watch that I got from Claires Adam: Claires Accessories? haha
Steph: And I wore it every day throughout Year 9 and then eventually it turned my wrist green *laughs*
Adam: Uh oh Steph: It started to smell weird so I stopped wearing it haha!
Adam: It made me diseased!
Steph: Oh I got really fed up on this page... It was a very observational one
Steph: This was meant to be a drawing of my Nana's garden and I just couldn't do it and I got so frustrated!
Steph: So in the end I was just going KEKEKEKEKE Adam: I can see the rage in this piece!
Steph: And here is where we are getting into my anime rabbits going Gothic!

Steph: I have something to share about this piece because this piece has a bit of a story behind it... Adam: Oh dear...
Steph: So! One of my friends Melissa, I talk to her quite a lot on Instagram you might of seen me plug her work a few times...
Steph: I used to sit next to Melissa in art class all the time, and she was watching me work on this - and Melissa was way better at drawing than the rest of us!
Steph: She understood realism and we were just really far away from the point she was at.. Adam: From Mount Melissa
Steph: So I was working on this and Melissa looked over... and she looks at this first and said "That's a really good fish!"
Adam: This is the fish in question.. Steph: Yes please take in this fish!! I was so proud of this fish because it has Melissa's blessing!
Steph: And Melissa was the art god of our school! Adam: *laughs*
Adam: You have been blessed by Melissa! Steph: and recently I was talking to her and i was like, you know what?...
Steph:.. I am STILL proud of that fish because she complimented it all that time ago and she said "Oh, I cant remember it..." Adam: WOT
Steph: And I was like: URGHH HOW CAN YOU NOT REMEMBER MY FISH?!?!

Adam: He reminds me of.. he is shaped kinda of like pasta shells?...I kinda like him!
Steph: But I am so horrified that she doesn't like the fish anymore and she likes the crab ;__;
Steph: She never even mentioned the crab when i shown it to her when I was 16!!
Adam: The moral of the story is, Melissa sort yourself out that is a good fish! Steph: Yeah!! *laughs*
Steph: And also at the time my art teacher was getting really angry with me when I was doing this piece... Because he said I wasnt put enough shadows into my work
Steph: And.. I didn't know how to make shadows, if you can see I want over it a million times Adam: Oh yeah yeah!
Steph: I was literally using the yellow paint at its full intensity to try and get the darkest colour out of it and then with the green too
Steph: But i didn't realize that you could just mix it with a darker blue to get a darker shade...
Steph: HE NEVER TAUGHT ME THAT HE JUST TOLD ME THAT I WAS DOING IT WRONG!!
Adam: NEEDS MORE SHADOWS
Steph: But hoooooow?! T___T
Steph: Oh! there is that Pucca character! And we had to do a bunch of master studies of.. Oh gosh I forgot the name of the famous Pop Artist!
Adam: Very famous yeah, I recognize the style!
Adam: "I know how you must feel Braaaad..."
Steph: And then we have this wonderful anime rabbit underneath this pop art master study! *laughs*

and welcome to a talking video which are
very rare around here. today I want to
talk about five ways to embrace your
femininity. the fun part about being a
girl is there are so many things we can
try and so many things we can do to
embrace our femininity and and when I
talk about femininity, I'm not talking
about the you know "have your hair you
know drenched in hair spray" and "your
nails super long "and you know "having the
latest and greatest jewelry", I'm not
talking about that. I'm talking about you
know just the normal things that come
with being a girl and you know how just
to you know embrace our femininity
without being the hyper-feminine that
society has painted for us right. so I
really hope you guys enjoy this video
and let's get started!
so the first tip is to own your personal
style. whatever your style is ,whether
you're a girly girl whether you're you
know more grunge whether you're 50s or
flapper of whatever your style is own it
because when you own your style, you
exude that confidence. and even though it
may not be something people you know
will be somebody else's cup of tea, even
though your style is not what other
people would do for themselves, having
that confidence in your own style says a
lot about your femininity and a lot
about who you are as a person. I mean
people are attracted to confident people
number two is to have good posture.
whether you're sitting whether you're
walking you know have good posture.
having good posture is very contagious.
have you ever seen somebody you know at the mall,
at school, or at work that has good
posture? and did you notice that you
automatically correct yours? having good
posture also helps you make feel better
about yourself. it boosts your
self-esteem it just brightens up your
day a little bit more kind of like
smiling every day right?
it just helps your self-esteem and makes
you appear very sophisticated very
poised and that's something really
important
number three is to have a signature
scent. now I'm not talking about
drenching yourself in perfume or people
can smell you like five miles away we're
talking about a scent that you know says
"hey you know so-and-so was here" or "is that
so-and-so?" "it smells like so-and-so"
I don't know I've always been really
attracted to the idea of people
remembering me from a scent; a good good
one right, not smelly. and so for those of
you who can afford a more high-end
perfume, more power to you go you know
have your scent. if you're more on a
budget I really like Victoria's Secret
Scandalous. and the reason I like that is
because the notes are very youthful, yet
mature which I like because I am 23
so I'm young but I am an adult as well
and I do want to be taken seriously and
I feel like that perfume really says
that. and having a signature scent also
helps add a bit of, it adds an air of
mystery as to who you are as a person
it you know. when people smell you and if
they smell that scent they're going to
get an idea and think, "oh, what
"kind of person is she" you know "she
smells you know you know the notes in
this perfume are very fruity; is
she a bubbly person?" like you know it
just it says I mean it adds a little bit
of mystery and it could be your little
secret too
number four is to try to always have
your nails groomed. now I'm not saying go
to salon everyday and get a manicure. no
because I yeah I don't like I don't like
to put nail polish on because I just
don't have the patience to be fixing it
every time it chips and you know I don't
want to spend $10 on a nail polish if
that's your thing oh my goodness I
admire you so much because I don't have
the patience for it.
I've tons of friends who are so good
with their nails who you know their
nails look fantastic all the time and if
you're like me and you don't like to
paint your nails have them clipped have
them buffed have them groomed make sure
they're clean because people are always
looking at your hands. when you're
greeting somebody, when you're writing,
when you're talking, because we talk with our
hands. having your, having groomed
nails is very, very important
the fifth and final tip is to have
healthy hair in a style that is
flattering for you. whether you like to
have your hair in a pixie cut, whether a
bob, or long or short, medium, layers,
no layers, or colored or whatever. whatever
hairstyle you like how try to have a
go-to look because you know we're very
on the go
a lot as a society. try to have a go-to look
where your hair will always look put-
together because you can have a full
face makeup and you can be dressed
head-to-toe fantastically but if your
hair is just not all there and you know
you really just didn't do anything you
know it's really going to take away from
all the other effort you did and it's
gonna say "well that person got lazy"
rather than "wow!" you know "she looks great
and put together" let's let's give off
the impression that "hey like I actually
I care about my appearance I respect
myself enough to look good for me
you know and come out into the world
looking presentable" alright so those are
my five tips on how to embrace your
femininity a little bit if you are

For rice dumplings from the north, we use cooked rice
well northern rice dumplings
are made with cooked rice
and they use uncooked rice in the southern Taiwan
then they boil the rice dumpling so it turns soft
Rice dumplings from the northern Taiwan use pork fat fried rice
yes the rice is similar to pork fat fried rice
so the northern rice dumplings are ready to eat?
Nah you need to steam them before putting them on the table
after the rice dumpling is wrapped
steam them with a steamer
the aroma of the leaves then would come out
how many rice dumplings do you make every Dragon Boat Festival?
It depends usually around 4 to 5 thousands
Are those umm egg yolks?
And those are scallops?
yes small scallops
and that's dried mushroom
and that's pork belly?
yes that's right pork belly
so these are wrapped and steamed?

today we have an unboxing of another
Bluetooth earbud sold by EnacFire
Alright so this is another EnacFire
earbud and this is what the box looks
like it looks just like the last one
that I unbox it's a little bit different
and we'll get to that in a minute but
this is what it looks like on the
outside
very nice very detailed so we have a
little bit of information here on the
back it has roughly 8 hours of talking
time 6 hours of playback time and an
operating distance of at least 10 meters
or 33 feet so let's go ahead and get to
the part that everybody has been waiting
for alright so all I have to do is just
pull this little tab here alright so we
have another guarantee card basically it
says if you're not happy about the
product feel free to send it back and
here it is we have the little pouch and
I'm assuming the earbud is in this pouch
now
in this little plastic bag so I have to
do is just pull this tab here and okay
Wow looks very different than the last
one that I unbox of a design is quite
small I wonder if it's going to sound
different it's very light in the hand
and as you can tell it has those two
little magnetic pins on the bottom so
that you can charge it okay I'm going to
place this back into the bag and also
the little pouch as you can tell in the
box it comes with two chargers as well
as two earbud covers again this package
comes with two so that means you can
leave one at work leave one in your car
wherever so you can charge your device
anytime so all you have to do to charge
this is connect the bluetooth earbud
directly to the magnetic pins on the USB
then as you can tell I'm plugging it
into my power bank and it works as
promised this one button is the on and
off switch
it also can allow you to pause your
music whatever you're listening to as
well as make calls when you double tap
it it can actually make a call to the
recent person that you dialed the
pairing process for this device is very
very simple all you have to do either
on iOS or Android whatever operating
system you're running go to your
settings panel select Bluetooth and on
the device you just want to press that
button down for a few seconds and you
should see the device pop up on the
screen once it's very go ahead and click
on it and it should automatically pair
he's actually sound really really good
I'm actually impressed they sound just
like the last ones that I unbox it's
just a different design it's up to you I
really can't tell or sense the
difference between this pair and the
last pair of that I unbox like I
mentioned before the bass who was there
on the low end it sounds very very good
I can't complain about that

beta phase and hence, you will have to install the beta version of the Nova Launcher.
To do that, firstly you need to enroll yourself as a beta-tester of Nova Launcher.
To do that, just head over to Nova Launcher Beta's Play Store page and log in with your
Google account and hit "Become A Tester".Now, you will get an update for Nova Launcher Beta.
Just install it and you are good to go.
If you don't want to go through the whole beta tester process, you can just download
the APK file of Nova Launcher.After you have made Nova Launcher your default home launcher,

It was cool, but hard, because it has been a while since we last played

Sure. EG and OG play similar strategies. Heroes are weak in lane, but they have
potential. Magnus is weak in the beginning, but then he puts points into Empower and buffs the carry with it.
The carry starts to outfarm, Magnus gets Blink Dagger and becomes extremely strong in team fights.

Today I'm gonna talk about something my student told me yesterday.
Yes
I share with everybody what you tell me, my student.
I share with everybody.
So, I was talking to my student yesterday and then he said:
Teacher, I am at the advance course but I went to Canada last week
and I couldn't understand anything people were saying.
What's wrong with me? Am I stupid?
No, you are not stupid, it is actually very common, that's why I've decided to make this video.
Many people come to me and say that they've studied English for a long time
But when they go to another country, an English speaking country
They can't understand native people speaking.
And it's very natural.
The thing is...
People who speak English as their first language
don't really speak the way you study the language.
Wait a minute, what are you saying, teacher?
You are saying that native speakers don't really speak the way I study.
Exactly, because people don't really speak the way it's written
but don't panic
I'm going to explain what happens
I'll give you some examples of how people learn English
and how it is actually spoken in real life
by native speakers
for example:
"What are you doing?"
What are you doing?
What did you say?
"I don't know anything about that, man"
"I don't know"
It's like a lazy way of speaking, right?

I want to buy a new car
I want to buy a new car= I wanna buy a new car
I wanna= I want to
I want to = I wanna
I am going to= I'm gonna

but then what I have studied all my life was in vain because I don't really speak the way native people speak
It wasn't in vain because after two hours talking to a native person
You're going to start understanding everything
The first contact, the first impression is a little bit shocking
but after some hours speaking with this person
with a native person, then you're going to get used to that
to the rhythm, to the contractions
and then you will understand everything for sure
if you know English, you are going to understand it
But why does that happen in English, teacher?
wait a minute
it doesn't only happen in English
it happens in Russian, it happens in Spanish
it happens in Portuguese
No teacher, in Portuguese it doesn't happen...
it happens, it happens
I have some American friends here in Brazil
and they have studied Portuguese at school
Before coming to Brazil they studied Portuguese at a school
and they tell me that they
really don't understand some people sometimes, because
because, for example, in Brazil
Many people don't say "estou"
They say "tô"
Imagine for an American person, for example
they have studied that
the verb "to be" is "estou"
but when they come here they say "tô"
They really think it's a different word
and they can't understand what you're saying

Traveling with Glowacki - In the Capital of Highlands - Day 2 - Duration: 6:31.
It's 7 AM. We just woke up
Well, actually we woke up earlier
because we wanted to take some sunrise photos
but it was cloudy so we went back to sleep
Now it's time for the morning shower
since we're paying for such luxuries

the capital city of the Highlands
First, we have to visit a camping shop

we're in Inverness, the capital of Highlands
which are one of regions of Scotland
Behind me is the Inverness Castle
but first let's talk about this city
Inverness lies right next to the Ness River
And not far from the Loch Ness
(we will go there)
This city was founded in 11th century
by some king David
Ok, back to the Inverness Castle
It was built in 1847
As you can see it's pink
because it was build using pink sandstone
"Red"
But before the castle, there was some fortress here
which dated back to 11th century

on this hill
in the city centre
Even though you can't see this castle inside
it's still used today
Right now, there is a Sheriff Court here
The ruins you just saw
are ruins of the Urquhart Castle
It's probably one of the best known castles is Scotland
Built around the 13th century
it replaced some medieval fortress
Over the years it took part in many battles
It was destroyed and rebuilt over and over again
But it was once destroyed and never rebuilt again
so we've got some ruins there
with some kind of tourist centre inside
But the admission costs 9 GBP
which is probably a few billion Polish Zlotys

Here we are near the Loch Ness lake
Actually, it's just "Loch Ness"
because "loch" means "lake"
Let's start looking for the monster
First stories about the Loch Ness monster
were told in the 6th century
But apart from some shitty YouTube videos
there is no proof of it's existence
But there were other things in this lake
For example, during the World War 2
one bomber plane sunk here
and was discovered a few years ago
Loch Ness is 38km long
and up to 230 meters deep
Overall, this makes it hold more water
