ADD A STAMP EFFECT TO YOUR LOGO IN ILLUSTRATOR | Satori Graphics - Duration: 10:11.

today I'm going to show you how to add a stamp effect to your logo design or

even your name in Adobe Illustrator and it's going to be a vector design also

towards the very end of this video I have a very cool announcement to make

I remember you can move to the timecard in the corner if you want to skip the

intro

what is up people welcome back to satori graphics home of graphic design

content right here on YouTube so I'm finally back with my travels and I hope

you guys had a great weekend towards the very end of today's illustrator tutorial

have a coin ounce meant to me so be sure to stay around for that you can use the

tutorial on a logo design you've made or even some text or typography so for

example your name today however I'm going to use much rhetoric graphics logo

design as the example if you use text make sure they outline the type before

by going up to type and create outlines the first thing you need to do is to

open up the Pathfinder window in Adobe Illustrator and then unite every single

part of your design as one

now that you've united everything together grab the ellipse tool and

create a perfect circle by holding down shift and clicking a dragging you need

to then bring up your logo or your tags to the very front and then place a logo

or your tags on top of the circle

I'm going to use the eyedropper tool sample white from the background onto my

logo we need to use the Pathfinder tool again as I open it up and then select

the circle angle logo together and then use the minus for an option this will

cut the logo into the circle - now you have one object for your stamp effect in

Illustrator as you can see my logo is now cut into the circle and that's

exactly what we want we're going to make another circle but this time you only

want to use a stroke rather than the fill

place the circle around the design and then resize it

you can now select both circles and align them like I'm doing here for the

Alta make circle you can increase the weight until you're happy with how it

looks we our stamp effect as you can see I believe my thick outer circle closer

to the logo understand part of the design and thin circle is on the outside

now you need to take the scissors tool and click once on each side of the

circle like I'm doing here this class the circle into two parts

essentially

hold on and click over the type tool and then select type on a path tool click

the top part of the circle and then type in some text that's relevant to your

stamp logo design I find a thicker San serif font works best for this type of

design

you can bring up the tight window here to customize your tags more efficiently

when you're done adjusting your text take the direct selection tool and then

locate the small line on the circle to drag the text around like I'm doing here

you can hit command or control I to open up your rulers and then drag down a

guide to alone your tanks perfectly

now we can add some tanks on the bottom half with the same method as before

however the only difference is that the tanks type to upside down to flip it

back over watch as I use a direct selection tool and click and drag in the

correct place

go ahead and adjust you tack spacing I'm placing

as you can see here I've moved too thick a line on the outside when I change my

fonts you can just use whatever he feels best for your stand like a design also

as I'm doing here go ahead and use the guides to make sure everything is

perfectly aligned

we're now ready to add the actual stamp effect to our design in Adobe

Illustrator

you can use the align window to align the circles that I'm doing here but once

you're happy select everything and then outline the stroke of your design as

well as creating the outlines of the type

again in the Pathfinder window do not everything into one object for the Stamp

effect we're going to need to open up the transparency window also you need to

open over the grunge vectors which I've linked in description below

these vectors can make your computer slow as there are many different objects

that make them up so to make things easier which I forgot to do in the

tutorial select one of the vectors that you want to use and then unite

everything has one object in the Pathfinder window hit command or ctrl C

to copy the grunge vector and then go back to your stamp logo design

in the transparency window with the logo selected click make mask and then

uncheck clip

then select the right hand window and hit command or control V paste the

vector in place you can now use shift to adjust and resize the vector

click the left wind in the transparency window to select off of the mask you can

now add color to your stamp logo effect red is often a cliche color of choice

but blue works also

you can add multiple vented layers on the transparency mask layer adding more

of a stamp effect

so there was my Illustrator tutorial on how to add a stamp effect to your logo

NFL players rally in solidarity against Trump - Duration: 2:23.

In the U.S.,...

Hundreds of NFL players are demonstrating against President Trump,... who slammed teams

that kneeled during the playing of the national anthem.

Trump doubled down on his earlier remarks on Sunday, urging fans to boycott the NFL

as long as the protests continued.

Our Park Hee-jun brings us more.

NFL players have responded in full force,...after President Trump swore, using profanity, at

those who protested during the national anthem.

(English) "Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL

owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that sone of a bitch off the

field right now.

He's fired, he's FIRED'"

On Sunday, hundreds of NFL players knelt and linked arms,...even staying off the field,

to protest Trump's call to boycott teams and fire players that refused to stand during

the national anthem.

(English) "It's very disrespect to our flag and to our

country, so I certainly think the owners should do something about it.

There was great solidarity, I watched a little bit - I was not watching the games today,

believe me, I was doing other things -- but I watched a little bit and I will say that

there was tremendous solidarity for our flag and for our country"

President Trump has been uploading tweet after tweet to criticize those who disrespect the

United States and the flag,... saying the offenders should be suspended or even fired.

There are mixed opinions among the public.

While some are sympathetic to the players' cause, others see it as disrespectful to the

country and the military who have sacrificed their lives to defend the nation.

(English) UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN "No, they're doing what they want to do

if somebody wants to kneel down, okay, kneel down.

It's our country we have the right to do what we want."

(English) STEELERS FAN RICK MATUSAK SAYING: "It's just the fact that, we live in America

and you respect our country respect our flag and respect what everybody, all of our, service

men have gone (through) for a whole life they protected our country and then to disrespect

our country with all the turmoil and stuff that's going on is just not right."

Critics of the president say his actions are attacks on freedom of speech.

Trump's stance of galvanizing players, teams, and the league in expressing what they see

is right, has highlighted the deep political rift the administration has exposed across

American society.

Alta make circle you can increase the weight until you're happy with how it

looks we our stamp effect as you can see I believe my thick outer circle closer

to the logo understand part of the design and thin circle is on the outside

now you need to take the scissors tool and click once on each side of the

circle like I'm doing here this class the circle into two parts

essentially

hold on and click over the type tool and then select type on a path tool click

the top part of the circle and then type in some text that's relevant to your

stamp logo design I find a thicker San serif font works best for this type of

design

you can bring up the tight window here to customize your tags more efficiently

when you're done adjusting your text take the direct selection tool and then

locate the small line on the circle to drag the text around like I'm doing here

you can hit command or control I to open up your rulers and then drag down a

guide to alone your tanks perfectly

now we can add some tanks on the bottom half with the same method as before

however the only difference is that the tanks type to upside down to flip it

back over watch as I use a direct selection tool and click and drag in the

correct place

go ahead and adjust you tack spacing I'm placing

as you can see here I've moved too thick a line on the outside when I change my

fonts you can just use whatever he feels best for your stand like a design also

as I'm doing here go ahead and use the guides to make sure everything is

perfectly aligned

we're now ready to add the actual stamp effect to our design in Adobe

Illustrator

you can use the align window to align the circles that I'm doing here but once

you're happy select everything and then outline the stroke of your design as

well as creating the outlines of the type

again in the Pathfinder window do not everything into one object for the Stamp

effect we're going to need to open up the transparency window also you need to

open over the grunge vectors which I've linked in description below

these vectors can make your computer slow as there are many different objects

that make them up so to make things easier which I forgot to do in the

tutorial select one of the vectors that you want to use and then unite

everything has one object in the Pathfinder window hit command or ctrl C

to copy the grunge vector and then go back to your stamp logo design

in the transparency window with the logo selected click make mask and then

uncheck clip

then select the right hand window and hit command or control V paste the

vector in place you can now use shift to adjust and resize the vector

click the left wind in the transparency window to select off of the mask you can

now add color to your stamp logo effect red is often a cliche color of choice

but blue works also

you can add multiple vented layers on the transparency mask layer adding more

of a stamp effect

2017 World Championships. The final countdown⎢VLOG 25 - Duration: 4:39.

This is my 11th World Championship.

It's 9AM and I have a busy day ahead of me.

I'll do some shots for this video, then I have training, ICF meeting and opening ceremony in the evening.

The race kicks off in 2 days!

This World Championship will be the one with the longest race programme,

with the biggest number of disciplines,

with the biggest number of participants

and probably with the biggest budget ever.

This is athletes lounge,

where we can get some refreshment,

find all the race information,

and vote!

The Athletes' Committee elections will be held during the next few days.

Almost 500 athletes will participate in the race,

so we have around 500 boats stored here.

And 72 women will race in my category.

The slovak team tent!

36 square meters!

The largest we've ever had.

We will bring some more stuff here… massage stretchers, portable heater..

it's around 8 degrees in the morning here.

This place will be good.

And we are finally at the course. It's a beautiful channel with fast whitewater.

The start pool…

and the finish pool.

The drop between them is about 5 meters.

The course is like one big curve

and is 300 meters long.

The top section is super fast.

In the middle part water is surging.

And the bottom section is very technical, with a lot of rolls.

It's an amazing venue.

I've just finished my session.

It was really crowded today.

And it's time for lunch now.

Bistro food…looks quite good.

The rest of the afternoon I'll spend here…

These are my last days as an athletes' representative.

Well… we will make a short break I guess..

Time passes quickly, it's 8:30 PM and the World championship opening ceremony is just about to begin.

The race kicks off with the team event on Tuesday

on Thursday I'm racing the heats and on Saturday hopefully also the semifinal and final.

Yeah, that's right.
