EJIUBAS Has Faith In Me! | 4 Stamping Nail Art - Duration: 6:27.

Hello! It's Minnie :D

In today's video, I will be trying some stamping with Ejiubas products

The last time I did stamping was probably for this Hedgehog Nail Art

back in 2014 LOL

So I'm not confident at all with my stamping skills

But Bella from Ejiubas has faith in me and I will do my best

Creating these four different nail designs! I hope you enjoy!!

The first design is a simple spiral design with mermaid scales

I'm going to start with a base coat

Then two coats of white nail polish

While the polish is still sticky I'm going to apply this tiny confetti to create the mermaid scales

Gently brush to cover the entire nail surface, then apply a top coat

I'm going to apply some light blue polish onto a piece of sponge, then dab onto the tip of the nails

For this design

I will be using this EJB-07 stamping plate

And this clear stamper, both from Ejiubas

Let's try this spiral design which looks the simplest on this plate

I'm probably applying too much polish here

Let's scrape to get rid of all the excess

then roll the stamper

Look At This!!

I have to say this is the best pick up I've ever done!

I have six different stampers, but none of them worked like this

Because the stamper is clear it's so much easier to position the design!

Ahhhh!!!

I've noticed that I'm pushing the stamper too hard, so I tried with less pressure this time

And it worked!!

Yaayy!!

I'm going to apply a thin layer of light blue polish on either side of the spirals

Finish with a matte top coat

For the rest of the nails I'm going to use the same design, but just one spiral for each nail

Apply a top coat and allow it to dry

Peel it off and then cut out one spiral

Apply a top coat and place the design

Apply a matte top coat to complete!

Next I'm going to create this pink plaid design

Apply a base coat and two coats of white nail polish onto the accent nail

For the plaid design, I will be using the other side of the same plate

Apply a nail polish, then scrape

Look at this! It wasn't even a stamping polish and still works!!

Let's roll it onto the nail

oh ho ho~ :D

Clean up the skin and apply a matte top coat

For the rest of the nails I have applied a soft pink polish

then hand painted some stars and polka dots

Apply a top coat and all done

The next design is a nordic style snowflake

After a base coat, I'm going to apply two coats of navy blue nail polish

The stamping plate for this design is EJB-06

Apply a blue stamping polish all over the design

Scrape, and then gently roll the stamper

Still not super confident but it worked!

For the rest of the nails I'm only going to use the middle part of the same design

So I'm going to carefully remove the designs around the outside

Transfer the design onto the base of the nail

Add three little dots using the same stamping polish

Apply a matte top coat and all done!

The last design is this tribal design with a purple marble stone background

For the base, I'm going to mix clear and white nail polish to create a sheer white color

Apply one or two coats to cover a natural nail color

Apply a pale purple polish onto a piece of sponge and then randomly dab onto the nails

Switch to a darker purple polish, and then repeat

It looks patchy, but that's what we want in this step

Using white nail polish or acrylic paint, draw some uneven lines which look like a snail's trail

You can randomly apply sheer white color to make it look more like a real marble stone

Apply a top coat to smooth out the surface

This time I'm going to use the other side of the same plate

Apply a gold stamping polish

Scrape, then roll the stamper

I feel like I'm getting more comfortable transferring the design

For the rest of the nails, I'm going to use a small part of the same design, like I did before

Transfer onto the base of the nails

Apply a top coat to complete

And that's it for my stamping experiment!

Hospital VLOG - Duration: 13:04.

Hey hey, this in not an ordinary day. Alma is going to have surgery to remove her tonsils.

She's in the sofa behind me, watching a movie. She is fasting and it makes her tired.

I am very worried about the anesthetics.

I am trying to keep calm infront of Alma because I want her to feel safe and secure.

Axel is much cooler than me, he is out now. But the both of us will go with her to the hospital.

It's falling off.

Let it be. The plaster is supposed to be on your arm.

How are you Alma?

I'm fine. Why do you ask? You know how I am.

Sorry.

Alma had breakfast at 9 AM and it's 2 PM now

I feel sorry for her. It's not fun to be fasting and feel hungry.

I want egg with salt.

Egg with salt? Is that the yummiest you can think of right now?

Yes.

This operation is not a choice for us. Alma has to have this surgery. The doctors have told us that she

doesn't get enough oxygen when she is sleeping because her tonsils are too big.

She has something called obstructive sleep apnea.

It's usually old and overweight men who snore that have sleep apnea. But kids can have it too.

If their tonsils are enlarged.

You can't film when I am naked.

No I wont. What's happening now?

I am about to have surgery and I'm a bit nervous.

You are going to put on the hospital gown.

Yes.

Can I lie down now?

Yes, this is your bed.

The doctors will come and get you soon. They can move this bed to the operating room.

Is the surgery going to hurt?

No you wont feel anything. You will be asleep.

How will they remove the tonsils?

They have tools. They will open your mouth and that's why you're going to be asleep.

So you wont feel uncomfortable and move around.

Will the doctor cut my tongue?

No. They have a tool to hold your tongue and they will burn away the tonsils.

What will I dream of? I would like to dream of myself being on a skateboard every day.

We are not allowed to film now. I will see you after the operation.

Bye bye.

It looks like you've seen a ghost.

I am very worried.

She's on the operating table now. There are four people in the room.

Two anesthetists, one nurse and the doctor that will do the operation.

It will take 10-15 minutes, maybe 20 minutes.

They had problems placing the syringe so they put her to sleep with gas.

When she's out from the operating room it will take 15-30 minutes before she wakes up.

I'm fine. I'm not allowed to film in there.

No I understand that.

It was a bit dramatic. Alma didn't want to inhale gas that smelled like nail polish. She resisted.

Then she fell asleep and I had to leave her there and walk out of the room.

I feel so worried. I want to be there with her.

You wouldn't have liked it. And I can understad why they can't have two parents in there.

But it feels terrible not being with her.

You can go in there now.

So I can be there when she wakes up?

Yes.

What a fancy costume.

Alma came to the hospital and she had to inhale a gas to put her to sleep. The doctor opened her mouth.

And burned away some things in there.

Scary!

Yes, scary. And you know what. When she woke up, she had an ice cream.

But she threw it up mixed with saliva and blood.

Can I have an ice cream?

Yes, you can have an ice cream.

Give it to me now please.

So much for trying to be educational with a 3 year old.

He's fantastic. Harry you're the best. So are you Alma.

He seems to like the skateboard as much as you do.

Yes. I have been worried about this operation for months.

Not so much about the surgery, but about the anesthetics.

I have been thinking; what if Alma never wakes up again?

So when she woke up today after the operation I felt so relieved. I became myself again.

My worries begin now and will go on the following three weeks. She can start to bleed in her throat.

And if she does, and if it's severe, we have to take her to hospital immediately.

Alma was on painkillers today after the operation. So she could have a proper meal.

But she will most probably be in pain the next coming days. It will be difficult for her to eat and talk.

This vlog is quite different from the videos we usually upload. And we'd love to hear your thoughts.

How did Aquinas determine the goal of human life? (I-II, 2)

Yes, that's a difficult question.

He begins with what's most evident to us to try to work back to what is less evident.

And if you look at all the other motions in the world, they seem to be directed to a final cause.

There seems to be a goal that they are... that they move towards.

And then when you look at the kind of hierarchy in creation, each animal acts towards what is principle in it.

So you... the worm is acting in one way, the dog is acting in another,

and the flourishing for a dog is rooted in what is principle in the dogs nature.

The same is true for any other animal.

So determining what the goal of human life is, it's got to be rooted towards determining what is principle in the human person.

And you can draw upon human experience.

Aquinas begins the question in many ways like Augustine does with the aid of Aristotle, the master of human experience,

but for Aquinas like for the Medieval 's the great example is Boethius,

because Boethius had everything that the world of his day would determine as success.

Not one but two of his sons became counselors of councils of Rome,

so they were the highest authority in the government except for the Emperor.

He was a friend of the Emperor.

Boethius was wealthy, well respected and then he lost everything.

So you begin to discern what's the goal of human life by looking at, well, what is it that we most deeply desire?

And is it fame? Well, we can lose fame.

Is it health? We want to be healthy, but you can also lose your health in this life.

Is it friends and family?

We want all those things, they're all good things, but they also are passing.

And so ultimately what is it that we most deeply want, something that would fulfill us completely,

something that can't be lost, something that's not just for a while?

As Augustine says of all the great Greek and Romans who tried to find their happiness in this life,

they weren't really happy, they were bravely unhappy.

And so Aquinas looking at all the different candidates for human flourishing,

all the different candidates for the goal of our life comes the conclusion,

that the deepest longing of our heart can only really be fulfilled by that which can't be lost and by that which is eternal.

And ultimately the only candidate for that is God Himself,

who is changeless, is ever ancient, ever knew, as Augustine says,

and who fully corresponds to our deepest longings our deepest desires to know and to love.

He's the only object that is worthy of both all of our attention and all of our love.

And then everything else finds its value in that.

It's not that the passing things of this world are evil but they are sacraments.

They participate in a fleeting way in eternity.

And it's in discovering God as the center, that we find that we're not alone in all of that.

Or perhaps, it's in living a full human life with others, we discover that our goal with all of these others is to be together with the Lord.

So it's not God as a hermit, but God in the company of others.

It's why the goal of Christian Hope is described as the kingdom of God.

It's our happiness and fulfillment,

but our happiness and fulfillment is not a hermitage, it's more a city, a banquet,

the celestial banquet, the City of God.

4 Drinks & 1 Food in Germany That GROSSED ME OUT (but don't anymore!) - Duration: 4:46.

When I first moved to Germany, there were some food and drinks that I found pretty disgusting.

But guess what, after 7 years here, I don't hate them all so much anymore!

In fact, some of them I've even come to like.

Hey everyone! I'm Dana and you're watching Wanted Adventure Living Abroad.

In Germany soda is often served at restaurants without ice in it.

No ice.

And for a really, really long time, I swore up and down that it was absolutely disgusting.

Revolting. An abomination.

Until one day, I found myself sipping on some soda without ice in it...and not being disgusted by it.

And then a little while after that the moment came.

I was pouring myself a soda in the kitchen and Mr. German Man said to me:

"Do you want some ice with that?"

And I said: "Nah, it's fine."

That's right.

I had access to soda and access to ice, but opted out of the latter with the former.

For the most part, though, I do still prefer soda with ice, but now it really doesn't

bother me to drink it without it.

When I moved to Europe I thought that beer was absolutely horrid.

Smelled gross, tasted even grosser.

Now, unlike the soda, I wouldn't exactly categorize this as a success story, but instead

of hating the taste of beer, I would say now I can tolerate it.

Who knows, maybe in another 10 years I'll even be indifferent towards it.

Here in Germany sparkling water is king.

And I learned the hard way that water labeled "classic" at the store is carbonated.

To me classic would be "normal water," without bubbles.

You know, like, what just comes out of the tap.

No, that's called natural water here.

But anyway, at the beginning I choked on this stuff with discomfort, and now I love it.

In Germany wine mixed with water is a thing.

And not just a little thing, but a big, huge super popular thing.

Like, find it at most restaurants and beer gardens thing.

At least here in Munich.

And you might think you could really only do that with white wine, if at all.

But no, red wine too.

Weißweinschorle is white wine mixed with sparkling water and a Rotweinschorle is red

wine and bubbly water.

I don't know for sure, but I believe you get it about 50-50 in your glass, so 50 percent

wine and 50 percent carbonated water.

No ice or fruit. Just wine and carbonated water.

In Bavaria there's this popular cheese spread called Obatzda.

It's often served with onion slices and eaten with pretzels.

Only thing is, it is bright orange.

So at first I was pretty put off by it.

But then I tried it one day, and now I really, really love it.

In fact, on the weekends Mr. German Man and I often eat it with pretzels for breakfast.

Yes, also with the onions.

Raw onions for breakfast.

Yummy. Nice way to start off the day.

Four years ago I was transferred in a last minute deal from Real Madrid to Arsenal – Arsene Wenger convinced me.

The Premier League is physically much more demanding then La Liga or the Bundesliga. 1-1 draws are much tougher, and the smaller clubs also have very strong teams that can easily catch you out.

Furthermore, there is no winter break, meaning the season is extremely long and exhausting, especially when you are playing at European and national team level too.

We have achieved a lot in our four years together. Three of the 13 FA Cup victories have been accomplished in the past four years, with the other ten taking 75 years for the club to win.

However, this only makes myself and the team even more disappointed for not playing a role in the title race at the end of last season - this is something we hope to change this year.

Personally Ive had to accept a lot of criticism during my time in London - too expensive, too greedy, bad body language, and lacking fight - this is what people have said about me.

Some of these comments are made by those who do not know me, some are made by former players - both successful and unsuccessful during their time here at the club.

Mesut Ozil has helped Arsenal to win three FA Cup during his time in London.

Although criticism is something that all football players have to deal with, I nevertheless expected legends to behave like legends - my advice to these former Gunners: stop talking and start supporting!.

I would like to thank all the Gooners that have always supported me and believed in me. When i leave the Emirates after a game, I see the fans standing along the street cheering.

When Ive played well, I hear you sing my song, and this makes me incredibly proud, giving me goosebumps every time.

  Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists stars such as Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil playing with just a year left on contracts is 'ideal'.

I have been privileged enough to have met both Brendan and Charlie. They support the club despite their illness, and their strength and positive messages constantly motivate me.

Moreover, Im thankful for all the other personal relationships Ive made over the past even though I personally do not know how my career will continue after this year, I look forward to my fifth season with Arsenal.

This is because Arsenal is a great club with great people and great traditions. I am glad to be able to wear your shirt, Gooners.

Ive had so many great moments in the last four years and I really appreciate what this club means to the people of London, the UK and all over the world..

Mom Finds Baby Bloody In Bouncy Chair.

Then She Sees Cable Guy Running In…

As parents, we wish we could always be by our children's side – watching their every

move, being there to kiss all their scrapes and bruises.

The truth is, it's impossible to keep your eyes on them every moment of every day.

But what would you do if you found your little one unresponsive?

Tough to say.

Ultimately, you'd jump in and save your baby's life; but emotions can get in the

way, especially when it comes to those we love.

Angela Sanders is the mother of five-month-old Dakota.

One day, while in her apartment with her little guy, Angela walked into the room and noticed

her son sitting in his bouncy chair, bleeding.

The horrified mother didn't know what had happened and didn't know what to do.

Thankfully, she had an angel close by.

Cable technician Daniel Craft had just finished his work at the apartment complex and was

in his truck ready to head to his next appointment when he heard a woman screaming from inside.

Craft hurried from his van, rushing to the unit where he heard the commotion.

There he found baby Dakota unresponsive and not breathing.

The cable technician called 911 and dove into action to save the little man's life.

Dakota was cold to the touch and his skin was blue; but thanks to his military background,

Craft knew what to do.

"I propped his head back, and he was still blue, so I thought there was something in

his mouth, or he was choking," Craft said.

"I put my finger in and swept it through his mouth to clear his throat.

As I pulled my finger out, I still had my ear down there, and I heard him starting to

gurgle and his stomach just raised.

He started breathing again."

Craft communicated with the 911 operator until the paramedics arrived.

Baby Dakota's savior even visited his little patient in the hospital the next morning just

to be sure all was well.

At the hospital, doctors discovered that Dakota had stopped breathing because of a ruptured

hernia that brought on a seizure.

Thankfully, he is expected to make a full recovery.

"He is a hero.

I am grateful he saved my baby," Sanders said.

Before leaving the hospital with her little one, Sanders took a CPR course to prepare

her if something similar ever happens to tiny Dakota again.

Thankfully this time, though, Craft was close by and saved the baby's life.

MAN BRINGS SUITCASE TO HOSPITAL TO VISIT WIFE.

AFTER HE OPENS IT, HER DYING WISH WAS MADE

If it was your last day on earth, what would you want?

Would you want to go do something you've always wanted to do but were too scared to?

Or maybe you would go and buy something you wouldn't normally, just for the heck of

it.

Well, it was one of this woman's last days on earth, when as he asked her husband to

do something a little "crazy" for her.

Now, this is no ordinary "I want this as my last meal," or "I really want this

before I go."

This was meaningful.

The hard part?

It wasn't allowed in the hospital.

"My wife was in the hospital after a very invasive surgery, which after a few days,

looked like it did not produce ideal results.

The prognosis was not good.

She was able to speak, but was not eating or drinking, and relied completely on her

IV and hard pain pills," said the husband, who has not been named.

After things began to look down, his wife then asked him to do something for her.

But he was nervous it wasn't going to work.

But he knew he had to try.

He was going to bring in their dog to visit her.

"Our dog is about a 50 pound Australian Shepherd, and as it turns out, she fits nicely

in a normal suitcase.

I packed her in, with the lid unzipped, and placed her in the car until we arrived at

the hospital.

When we arrived, I 'explained' to her that I would open the zipper in a few minutes

and that she could see her Mommy," recalled the husband.

And that's exactly what he did.

He picked up the suitcase with the little dog inside, and walked right into the hospital.

But the dog never made a sound.

When he walked by the nurses station near his wife's room, he told them that he was

just bringing in some items to make her feel more comfortable.

And they didn't even think about questioning it.

He then walked into her room, and shut the door.

This was it.

He was so thankful that the pup stayed completely quiet.

He had been so terrified they were going to be caught.

"When we entered the room, my wife was asleep, I unzipped the suitcase, and the dog immediately

jumped on the bed, and gingerly laid across her chest, somehow avoiding the wires and

She positioned herself to where she could look directly into my wife's eyes, and laid

completely still, until about twenty minutes later, when my wife woke up, and started moaning

in pain.

"The dog immediately started licking her, and quietly moaned, as if knowing that barking

would definitely blow our cover.

My wife hugged her for almost an hour, smiling the whole time.

We were busted by one nurse who was so touched that she promised not to tell.

When my wife finally went back to sleep, I loaded the dog back in the suitcase, and she

somewhat sheepishly obliged," the husband commented.

And although his wife passed away a few days later, she was able to see her beloved dog

one last time because of her husband's kind actions.

And if that isn't the sweetest thing ever, I don't know what is!

Hello friends, welcome to my channel I'm Arzu

Today we will be preparing overnight oats together

This is one of my favorite breakfast recipes

let's check out the ingredients first

and then we will make it

it's an incredibly easy recipe

we have 1 1/2 cups of oats

2 tablespoon chia seeds

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup almonds (soaked and peeled)

you could use almond milk

I'm adding the recipe right below this video

but you could use soy milk also

any kind of plant milk

we will also use water

I will be using a little bit of raw honey for this recipe

But if you are vegan or prefer some other sweetener

then you can always use maple or agave syrup also

We will add these ingredients together and it will sit in the fridge overnight

and it will be ready in the morning

it's ideal if you need to leave home early

it's also ideal for after workout since it's filled with protein

let's begin

let's place the oats in our container

it's best if your container has a lid

let's also add our chia seeds

now let's add the cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon

let's place almonds now

you can always use other kinds of raw nuts

Two tablespoon of sweetener

if you don't like it too sweet then one is also ok

I will put 1 1/2 tablespoon

Same for maple or agave syrup, depending on your taste for sweet

now we will use liquids to cover the top

1 cup plant milk

1/2 cup water

Chia seeds will gel

let's mix it all up together

mix it up a little bit

also the sweetener will mix in honey

maple syrup

or agave syrup

you can always use

natural molasses also

even add up a little bit of tahini

my creativity kicks in now

tahini and molasses mix well together

now we will put the lid on

and place it in the fridge

it will be ready in the morning

you can add fresh fruits on top later on

i will add the peanut butter recipe below this video

you can also add some peanut butter on top

to add up some more protein

this will be ready in the morning let's see

welcome to the next morning

we took the oats out

the liquids mixed in

let's take some

this is for two people as you can see

or you can eat this the next day

it will stay up to 3 days in the fridge

let's place our fruits on top

some peaches

kiwi fruit

and blueberries

and if you wish add a little bit of peanut butter
