'I SEE' Documentary (An Olga Fraze-Frazenko Film) // "Я БАЧУ" Документальний фільм - Duration: 46:55.

OFF Laboratory presents

A blind person can sense things based on what he or she can imagine.

You can try to imagine that you're sitting in some abyss, at its bottom.

But you can also imagine yourself at the top of a mountain, wherever you are.

Hi, it is 8 PM and welcome to the 'Eyes' TV programme.

My colleagues are ready to share the latest Monday news with you.

Today we are talking about:

How to keep your kids busy in July when kindergartens are closed down.

Cycling marathon for those who've lost the ability to see: 30 blind people are on a month-long trip.

They are ready to face some inconveniences and challenges.

15 blind sportsmen set off for their cycling marathon from Lviv.

Those who can see will help the visually-impaired people to pedal tandem bicycles.

Participants of the 'I See! I Can! I Will' charitable cycling marathon will be traveling around Western and Central Ukraine for 30 days.

Bike-lovers dedicated the cycling marathon to Mykola Pekh, their blind friend from Lviv who died last year.

/audio description/

Let's close our eyes just for a minute and try to sense the world in a new way.

Let's try to sense the world when we cannot see it.

/audio description/

Many people with disabilities give up and lose the feeling that they are able to change something

after spending all the time at home, not really going out that often, unsuccessfully trying to find a job.

even though they have vocational training or higher education

Initiatives, like this cycling marathon

give people with disabilities some confidence that everything is possible...

...that one can achieve self-fulfillment

that even if before this I walked around my room or backyard

now I have cycled a few dozens of kilometers and feel so tired. But it's nice tiredness

and probably I can accomplish something even greater.Probably I should keep going and do something else

Maybe, study more, or work more.

It strongly influences people without disabilities, and the society in general.

Thanks to the cycling marathon we could talk about problems, or rather barriers, faced by people with disabilities.

They are discussed during press-conferences. TV can show a person with a white cane

but now we are taking another angle, a new format with an image

Here you go, - someone is riding a tandem bike. I saw them riding tandems, there are so many issues,

but something like this provokes much stronger associations than another conference or roundtable.

Such approach was widespread in the Soviet times

When you cannot see, it's your own problem. We give you a pension, so, please, stay at home,

take advantage of the benefits, and live in your own world. Don't bother us.

This care, medical treatment...a person with a disability is the disabled.

That's the approach which remains common nowadays. "The disabled." Not a person, just the disabled.

Now we are talking about the need to perceive a person with a disability

as a human being with rights and duties on equal terms with other people,

as a person who should bear his or her responsibilities.

And for such people to be able to exercise their rights, adaptation is needed.

It's about adaptation of space, legislation, and workplace.

It means that a person becomes independent, has a possibility to implement one's own plans and ideas

and manage one's own life.

Because such people achieve something, they can independently do unbelievable things.

We just need to support them to make it possible.

When I was three years old, my father bought a bicycle for me. That was two-wheel bike.

He lowered the seat as much as it was possible and I started to cycle around.

After I lost my sight, I kept on riding my bicycle but now only in the countryside.

My childhood is divided in two parts.

The first part was when I could see. It consists of different memories made of pictures.

I don't even remember any sounds, only pictures.

The second part of childhood was when I lost sight. From it, I have memories of sounds.

/audio description/

It's true that when you help other people, you get back a million times more and you become happier.

The way they understand me and are proud of me. They understand that it is really difficult for me,

but I won't show it because I am a strong person.

When I came for the first time not knowing them

I opened myself.

I knew that when you open yourself to such people,

they will open themselves to you a thousand time.

They became my friends on the first day we met.

I want to show people with no disability that there are no barriers, no obstacles.

I want peace in my country which is going through difficult times now.

We have to do what we can do.

Someone fights in war, someone becomes a volunteer.

As the guys, Ukrainian fighters in Eastern Ukraine, told me,

'Roman, do the work you can do, and you will be priceless'.

We should appreciate every day and love everything we have, this world, and those people.

/audio description/

Radio Track FM - The Way Home

We will speak today what is the Cycling Marathon, where you have already been,

and what will be going on in Rivne in the nearest future, or is happening right now.

Marta, the floor is yours.

Thanks. So, we set off from Lviv on 4 July.

Within this period of time we covered the distance from Lviv to Ternopil via the castle of Olesk.

After this, we headed to Rivne through Kremenets hills.

This is a kind of start when we got used to the cycling marathon, learnt each other better,

made up our minds for a long trip, probably, harnessed our "metal horses".

We even had some problems with them, but now everything is mended and we are ready to keep going.

The project is aimed at involving the biggest possible number of those who cannot see and those who can,

for them to go outside, for them to experience how wind winnows their hair,

to see beautiful places in our Ukraine, to see history

to feel the landscape, to feel change of the environment, that is to leave their comfort zone. Both blind and sighted.

We ride further to Zhytomyr. But it will be tomorrow.

Today we will visit the Tunnel of Love here, near Rivne.

Well, "The Way to Home" is going on. That is why I wish you a nice trip to Zhytomyr tomorrow

and to Klevan Tunnel of Love today.

Svitlana and Martha, thank you for being with us, wish you all the best. See you. Good-bye.

In my opinion, the greatest drive is the feeling of freedom.

You go wherever you want, and feel speed. You are alone, just by yourself.

Problems are left behind, and you are kind of driving off /from reality/ and cycling from one stop to another.

And then, problems and duties are here again...but when you are cycling, there is nothing.

There is a road and thoughts. Freedom, in one word.

As for now, we are supporting the Cycling Marathon. I think the road surface is in a favorable condition.

The average speed of the Marathon is 25 - 30 km per hour.

We make breaks. Currently, everything goes well, I think.

Thank you.

/Cyclists sing the Anthem of Ukraine/

/audio description/

Zhytomyr!!! Finally!

It is very interesting and funny because we ride on the road, tell jokes, sing songs.

We have participants from Odesa, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Kyiv.

/audio description/

When you go to Cherkasy… It is horrible in Cherkasy.

Because I am partially sighted, I have never ridden the bicycle before in my life. That was my first time,

that was really cool, now i understand why people ride bicycles.

/audio description/

Let the convoy pass!

/audio description/

Kyiv is Kyiv, but in Radomyshl we, for example, have found Themis.

I left at home all my doings but found Themis. A cool thing.

You shouldn't think, but act. Just do what you have to do and everything will be OK.

We climbed Hoverla (2061 m, the highest peak of Ukraine) back in 2006. I didn't plan it.

I was just called and asked whether I wanted to join. I thought they were kidding.

And I said 'Yes, I want to'. 'No problem, we put you on the list'. I say 'Ok, write my name down'

And they did it. Then they called me later and invited to the training.

I understood there was no way back.

No more jokes, because guys from Kharkiv Alpinist Club called and said it was time to climb Hoverla.

So, now I still want to do some kayaking, and I know it will happen.

/audio description/

I like such pace. Always on the move.

It resembles my character, I enjoy being busy all the time.

There is a start. There is a finish.

And you challenge yourself to cover this way.

It is a challenge, I would say.

It is interesting to observe my colleagues and mates, how they will complete the route.

For me, it is also important, because a person opens up in such extreme situations. That's important.

Everything is changing so quickly - frame by frame, like in a movie.

/audio description/

It's true that you should be able to do more than a sighted person.

You have to be a bit special.

You have to do things others don't do.

Only then, you will be considered by employers and will be well paid.

Concerning the view of the blind that everyone in the world owes something to them -

it's getting less and less common.

People born in the USSR were used to

to the idea that government has to provide everything, to give, give, give...

If someone had told me before the cycling marathon that I would cycle for the whole month,

I would have said it was nonsense.

It is a different life; I have a feeling that it was not me.

If I were given the option to live this life once more, I would agree.

I am an 'incorrect' person. They say that when someone loses sight, other senses become sharper.

And me… People who have everything - sight and hearing - they have more opportunities.

It is believed that once we lose something, it is balanced by something else.

I say - no, because I sense, but I would like to see... I would like to sense everything with sight.

And because I don't have this ability, I try to sense as much as I can.

And everything unusual makes me feel excited and delighted.

/audio description/

What is striking in comparison to other countries is that when abroad I tell people I'm blind,

people take it as normal. They see it as one of personality's traits.

But it is not a terrifying diagnosis, verdict, or something signaling inferiority of a person.

Liosha, a blind programmer, drew some parallels. When he went to interviews for an internship in the US,

nobody asked him how he would work and move around the office.

Yet, in Ukraine, he faced such issues rather often.

People do not obtain knowledge and comprehension that the blind can have regular, active lifestyle, and work;

that there are supporting technologies assisting them in those aspects.

Currently, we are in transition from the medical model of understanding of disability to the social and regulatory one.

Of course, many things depend on what was agreed at the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

It laid the key principles and prerequisites for the development of this model.

/audio description/

Well done, well done!

/audio description/

My name is Vitaliy Dropit, on January 4 I am turning 14. My city is quite old, founded by Yaroslav the Wise in 1032.

I learned about the Cycling Marathon when I met Yaroslav and Yura.

They looked like strangers. First I thought these people were foreigners.

But they turned out to be from Lviv, Odesa and other cities.

...to show that bind people are the same to the rest of the world.

Others believe that blind people are bad, crippled, that they are not capable of anything.

But sometimes, the disabled people by their example demonstrate that they are better than we are.

If you want to be a basketball player, you should pursue this goal.

Not just say that you will one day, but actually do something, go to the stadium and play.

And you need to practice hard for many years. Only then there will be a result

I want to travel around Ukraine. Most of all, I want to visit Lviv and Kyiv, the oldest cities.

Our city is also very beautiful. I recommend everyone to visit Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi.

Korsun and its local news.

On July 15, in Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi, we greeted the All-Ukrainian Charitable Cycling Marathon "I See! I Can! I Will!".

The participants have covered almost a half of the way so far.

The whole marathon is filmed by Olha Fraze-Frazenko who is a co-organizer as well.

After the marathon, the film about it will be created.

Every day blind participants of the trip cycle about 100 km. They ride tandem bikes with their guides.

A visually impaired person helps to pedal his or her guide who sits in the front.

The team consists of people from Lviv, Odesa, and Kharkiv.

Tandems develop greater speed than ordinary bicycles. The highest speed reached during the marathon was 72 km/h.

Their average speed is 27 km/h. For two cyclists on one vehicle, it is very important to work as a team.

In Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi district, on July 16, the participants of "I See! I Can! I Will!"

visited Stebliv and the canyon of Ros river.

From Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi they will head to Olshanytsia. That's all for now.

I am Katia Feshchenko. Radio on the Korsun wave.

I was thirteen. I herded lambs beyond the village on the lea. The magic of the sun, perhaps, Or what was it that affected me?

No, better the other one

Beside the hut the cherries are in bloom, And May bugs o'er them dance...The peasants from The fields return with weary seep...'Tis late...

I was thirteen. I herded lambs Beyond the village on the lea. The magic of the sun, perhaps, Or what was it that affected me?

Get into the car!

/audio description/

It's not a story. It's not Kyiv. No way…

/audio description/

I still have colorful dreams as before. It seems as if I can still see.

It is different with every person, but I don't personally even think about not seeing anything.

Especially in the places where I live, where I have been. I don't think about being blind.

There are always times, when we face difficult situations.

I use a phrase "Oh, how much I love this blindness!" in quotation marks.

When you want something and you realise that possibilities are impossible.

But my friend Luda tells "knock the door and somebody will open it".

If we do not knock, do not ask… If I need something but I feel sorry for myself, complain that I cannot,

this situation will remain around me for some time until I get out of it.

And when I get out of this situation and look back, I realise how easy it was.

Just to call, just to ask, just to explain the situation.

I enjoyed the way he was thinking. He was telling me everything, as we were riding.

And he tells, "It is like in life. First you take off and then you fall down".

Now there will be a hill. Well, Svitlana, shall we go?

Do you understand that it's better to ride up the hill? We'll conquer it.

With such optimism, it was much easier and more interesting to go up that hill.

20 interesting days of the 30-day long cycling marathon "I See! I Can! I Will!" are behind.

Here is our correspondent Svitlana Lira with the latest news from the scene.

Within 19 days, tandems have covered a thousand and a half kilometers. Can you imagine?

In details about his impressions and what the marathon gives him, how dreams come true - Zhenia Chahovskyi.

Yesterday my dream to exceed my previous achievement of 110 km in a day came true.

It was made possible thanks to lucky coincidence. We had to ride 100 km but in Vinnytsia region

we were offered to visit the place where a meteorite fell down in the past.

This unplanned trip added 40 km to our distance.

which turned out to be about 150 km. Everything coincided very well, and I had very good pilots.

Due to well-coordinated actions, we were able to accomplish this with pleasure. Without any suffering.

Zhenia, was it difficult for you to ride all these kilometers? I heard you took part in Odesa 100-kilometer marathon.

Please, compare the experience of running and cycling.

Actually, for people of my age, the elderly ones, it is much more difficult to run because joints are suffering.

A bicycle is the kind of loading which provides maximum health, maximum pleasure, and minimum harm.

The only issue is connected with bad roads. Then you feel the load. Everything besides brings only pleasure.

Vinnytsia region warmly welcomed us when we entered the city. We were greeted with korovai (a decorated round loaf of bread).

In Illintsi, we were met by cyclists from this small town.

In Lypovtsi, we were met with the Euroflag by cyclists in yellow and blue uniforms with stripes embroidered with Ukrainian symbols.

Further news about our cycling marathon, its details, will be covered in the next news broadcasts of the Odesa regional radio.

For you - the Odesa Regional.

/audio description/

I am convinced now that physical limitations of people are not defects.

Those people who are supposed to be normal and do not notice simple things around themselves have defects.

And people like this /blind people/ are normal people.

These are our heroes.

I'm not a very religious person…

But you need to live for somebody...

And there are so many different things.. For example, how to pray in a right way...

When you ask for something for yourself, you should ask to be needed for somebody.

To ask for not what I want, but for what I need. To be necessary for somebody.

It happens, sooner or later, that my skills become important for somebody.

The most important is to wait, and sooner or later you will become important for somebody.

If that happens quite often, then you have chosen the right way in your life.

If there is no work, stand up and go. It is work already.

Later, on your way, you will find a different work which will become better for you.

If you don't know what to do - stand up. It's already an activity.

This is my philosophy. Does it work? It works! Do you have any more questions?

We are very happy to welcome participants of the Cycling Marathon in our ancient and always young city of Kamyanets-Podilskyi.

We always welcome positively all the civil society initiatives and we welcome sincerely everyone who comes to our city.

Have a safe trip! And peace, peace, peace for all of us.

Three, four "I See! I Can! I Will!"

/audio description/

My name is Roksolana, Rohatynka, Nastia I took over the throne despite the laws of Sultan

For our meetings to be united here forever For our Ukraine to blossom as a guelder rose

Very often, when we met with a local community in the cities on our way,

we were told that the state was not doing anything.

Well, but hold on, people. The state is doing nothing, but you can do something.

You can ride, you can sit on the bicycle and ride. It's very simple, but it's true.

You can look for a job, you should not limit yourself to what the state is providing you with.

You can fight with the state. You can provide yourself with everything needed on your own.

You can create an environment around yourself that is needed, in the way you want.

This is a shake of the world outlook: youth with the opinion that society works in such a way.

If you want something, the civil society can achieve its goal.

There are instruments of influence on the state.

But there is also a different stereotype. If the state does not provide something,

then everything is bad, because the state does not do it. Because nobody came and gave it for granted.

It is very difficult to struggle with this perception.

I think that the Marathon can inspire others.

Hello Lviv!

Thanks a lot for a nice greeting. We are glad to finish here and that you welcome us so warmly.

Thanks to all of you!

I See! I Can! I Will!

Hello everyone! Hello!

We are now at Lanzheron Beach in Odesa.

There is a reason why we are in all this make-up and in the dresses.

Soon you will learn what's going on over there.

Our tandem-bikes are now in the city of Chernivtsi

but we have here more important events and now you will understand what exactly.

Our tandems are waiting for us.

I hope they do!

Moen pex Tub and shower faucet 👍👍👍 - Duration: 17:47.

hello my name's Claude Taylor and welcome to my how-to plenty channel to

all my subscribers thank you for your continued support your support is most

appreciated you can now find all the tools and materials that I am using on

these videos at Amazon just go to Amazon and type in how to plumbing and if

you're new to this channel I hope you enjoy the videos and if you do give it a

thumbs up and become a subscriber thank you with all that said let's get started

with the video all right in this video here we're going to do is we're going to

prefab and prefab means making it up ahead of time so that it's all together

and we can put it in in one shot and everything's together and what we're

doing here is we're going to build a tub and shower valve we're gonna assemble

one let's start off by taking a few measurements and these measurements are

gonna be for the tub spout and this one here if more than was likely 7 inch it's

gonna be for the tub spout and the other one's gonna be around 54 for the

showerhead itself going up to the showerhead now you don't have to have a

fancy cutter like this I do quite a bit of cutting copper pipe and this is a lot

easier on the risk so this is why I am using this particular tool this is

Milwaukee battery-operated tool cutter

this is going to be the tub and shower valve of choice and this is a Moen

turbine shower valve and this particular one is designed for Reuben or pecs pipes

and fittings the only part that we're gonna have to use on here that we're not

going to use any PEX pipe is going be the riser going up to the showerhead and

the part going down to the tub spout those two pieces will have to be

soldered on and that's to give the shower valve some stability okay before

we go to assemble the new parts on the tub and shower round we're gonna break

it down first this is the best way to do it before you start soldering pipe and

the first thing we're gonna do is we're gonna take this cover off and we're

gonna put this cover back on because that cover makes it easy for the inner

towel guy or drywaller to of install the towel and make sure that the valve is

sticking out properly

and again that's gonna go back on and what we're gonna do is remove all the

components to this uh tub and shower valve so that when we go to solder to

pipe we don't melt any of the washers or the

cartridge inside of it are you know do any damage we don't wanna take a chance

like that so here we've removed the cartridge and again this is a Moen posi

temp humming shower valve and the pins that just pulled out now those go to the

stops and these stops are designed to cut the water off at the valve rather

than turn it off to the entire house so if you ever need to replace the

cartridge you can just turn the water off right here once you remove the cover

plate and they just pull right out and you can see why I'm concerned about

soldering the pipe that rubber washer there we don't want to disfigure or melt

it in any kind of way well one thing to keep in mind is that the if for any

reason the hot water is not cut on or the cold water either one one will not

work without the other the hot and the cold water has to be on at the same time

so the dis Val what operate I have all my fittings laid out and ready to go

now we're going to go on with soldering part and first of all we're going to

clean the fittings as clean as we can get them cleaning Mira's fittings with a

wire brush is a very important

and these what they call drop eared 90s or you can call them wing 90s and of

course this is a copper half-inch cap and the caps are gonna be put on tip

rarely I'm only going to one cap but I am doing two because I have another

valve on the side that you're not seeing right now and the cleaning brush that

I'm using you can flip it to one side and you can also use the three-quarter

inside for three-quarter inch pipe all this is half-inch right now and you can

also clean the pipe there's a section where you can clean the pipe with the

same wire brush that I have here taking measurement here that was seven inches

and sometimes there's just a random piece that's cut and when I talk about a

random piece just what it says a random piece that's grabbed it looked like it's

gonna fit wherever I need it and I can always cut it later

now keep in mind here I know a lot of you're probably watching this video

right now and you're wondering well how come he doesn't have it set up on a

stand or something like that to make this a little easier well in actuality

when you're on job sites sometimes you don't have that luxury so you emphasize

and you do what you can do at the time

and here's the flux - we're gonna use

and on the flux don't really go do not go light on the flux it's not necessary

to go too heavy but don't go light on it you want to make sure that these pipes

and fittings are flux tough on the inside very good so that the lead-free

solder that you're going to use is going to fuse the two metals together

and here's a little trick I like to do once I've cleaned and flux the fittings

and as I like to kind of egg-shaped the fitting itself and the pipe so that when

I twist it it's in place and doesn't fall out as I'm soldering the pipe you

can see how I'm squeezing down on the fitting and always wipe off the excess

excess flux that's hanging around it makes for a nice clean solder connection

other than that some green stuff buildup on the outside which will deteriorate

the pipe pretty quick now when I do when you see me putting the pipe inside of

the brass fitting itself I'm gonna egg-shape the pipe not the brass part

just only the pipe and this will allow me enough to just squeeze it in there so

you'll see stay tight and snug and won't rattle or move all over the place when I

do go to solder or move the valve around as I'm soldering see that's nice and

tight and that's gonna keep it stable and again we're gonna wipe the excess

flux off of here

and once again I don't have anything right now that I can't of race this tub

and shower valve on and assemble it to solder it

so again improvise improvise and prize

okay we have we have one valve here that is totally assembled now it will be

ready to go ahead and solder up and we have here is a small bottle of propane

gas and of course this is my uh torch setup that I'm going to use

I do have a bigger tank that use acetylene but I use usually use that on

much larger jobs but a little small job like this this is all I need and this is

all you're gonna need

and this particular one you can it strikes and it lights itself and you can

just hold the red button down you can see and it will continue to run without

you having to hold your hand on the trigger to keep playing on

now if you're interested in learning on how to solder copper pipe I have plenty

of videos out there and how to solder copper pipe on YouTube so please go

ahead and check those videos out I even have them where I'm installing

copper pipe enough in a house so I'm doing quite a bit of soldering on that

particular video

and the sound has been cut off because I had some people come by and they wanted

to talk and talk and talk so I had it I didn't realize that I went back to edit

and so I edit all the conversation out

and if you notice when I'm soldering this is give you an idea the flame is

always mostly aimed at the fitting itself and the reason for that is the

solder is going to follow the hottest point so what is the what it's doing now

by holding it on the fitting and sucking the pipe the solder into the pipe and

fitting okay here I go I'm going to make up my little homemade brace here -

bricen please so that I can go ahead and solder that cap on there

and again you can see that I'm holding the heat on the copper fitting itself

and by holding it on the copper fitting you can see that it just suck the solder

right up in to a place to where it need to go yeah once all the solder joints

are soldered together I'll take another rag and I'll clean it up and make it

look a lot nicer and neater

now that we have it all soldered up and cooled down now it's time to start and

put the valve back together and of course we're gonna put our stops back in

here and it's important that when you put the stops back and the cartridge

that you put the returned pins and please don't forget to retain a planted

pins and here are the retainer pins

and you notice when I put the cartridge you see the H and the see the

H on the hot see on the right side for the cold and of course we put the

retainer pin back in and now we're going to put our cover plate back on not

actually the cover plate but the it's a template plate so that when they go to

put the towel in on the wall that they will leave an opening enough so that we

can put our cover plate the trim work actually over it again thanks for

Vanguard Mutual Funds - What Vanguard Funds Should Invest in? - Duration: 25:05.

what's up guys how's your day going it's Mike and chipper hellooo in today's

video we're gonna be hunting down the top six performing Vanguard mutual funds

of all time so let's go

welcome to money in life TV where our goal is to help you improve your

financial position career and life alright guys thanks for joining me today

give me a moment while I hunt down the top six performing Vanguard funds of all

time ooh yeahh! be right back with y'all

okay guys that was a lot of research couple of things to point out before we

get started all the funds which are the six the six

funds I'm going to show you today they're all mutual funds I did not do

any research on ETFs because this video is about the six all-time best Vanguard

mutual funds I can totally do a video on the ETF's if you guys would like me to

just let me know in the comment section down below okay number one the first

thing to point out is that please note I am NOT a professional investor these

funds and all the research I did is of my own opinion and this is not to be

taken as investment advice what this video is for is if you do not have a lot

of time the research stocks yourself and meet your funds and that kind of stuff

or you're unsure of how to look at investments in that kind of thing this

video will at least help you identify some of an guard's best funds the second

thing I want to point out is there is no guarantee that the prior performance

will continue into the future now the funds we're looking at are some

of the oldest funds in Vanguard I think all the funds we're looking at are over

30 years old so there's a lot of performance history behind them which

helps me feel comfortable personally as an investor versus if something is

brand-new and it only has been out less than a couple years it's really hard to

know how it's gonna do long term the third thing I want to point out is that

these funds are actively managed which means that somebody is managing and

actively trading the funds within some of the stocks with inside this mutual

fund if the fund manager changes then obviously the mutual fund itself could

change so I just wanted to point some of these things out guys before we get

started so let's go ahead and dive right into this the fourth and final thing I

want to point out is please take the time to do your own research I cannot

guarantee that the funds I'm about to show you are gonna perform the same way

into the future nobody I don't know there's no way for you to

you and I don't know but just be aware of that but anyways with that being said

let's go dive right into these okay guys thanks for joining me

the first fun work of the six we're gonna be looking at is the vanguard

Wellington fun investor shares ticker symbol VW elx this my friends if you

want to see the oldest Vanguard fun in existence this is it am I'm good this is

the fun it's been around for 88 years holy crap that's a long time it has a

moderate allocation in regards to its category which I believe means it's very

well diversified in various sectors of the stock market so it's not just like

health care it's not just technology it's a very well mixed

yeah so this fund in general is 2/3 stocks and one-third bonds and it's been

as founded in 1929 can you guys believe that it's pretty crazy so let's just

pause in a minute what I did obviously is I took all the information from the

website of Vanguard and this is how I do a lot of my research even when I'm

looking at stocks or mutual funds whatever it is I'm looking at I like to

use an Excel document to pull in my research because that way I can easily

save it I can transfer it to different computers I can look at it wherever I'm

at so this is how I prefer to do my research

oh so let's look at rates of return so this is as of I think all this

information is as of June 2017 okay guys June 2017 I'm looking at this in August

but I believe a lot of this data it goes back to June of this year so obviously

you can look at this chart right here it shows you the one year performance

through your performance five year ten year etc overall an eight percent return

since inception which if you think about it the average return of the S&P 500

over the last 100 years is actually eight percent so this thing is right on

the money so this fund owns a lot of high quality

blue chip stocks and large companies if we scroll down you can see it owns

Microsoft JP morgen Comcast Chevron Bank of America

alphabet which is Google Intel etc it's got in terms of risk it's on a moderate

risk which means it's not super conservative

but it's not overly aggressive either so it's right in the range now this another

thing guys risk is very important okay if if a lot of the funds we're looking

at here they're probably at a moderate risk are above they're more aggressive

in nature because that's why they're the best performing there is a direct

correlation between risk and reward I'm sure many of you already know that but

just so you know if you're near retirement you might want to meet with a

financial advisor before considering these funds because maybe this might be

too much risk for you to take I don't know it depends on what you're

comfortable with but you have to know how much risk you feel comfortable

taking before diving right in okay let's getting back to it so minimum of

investments around $3,000 and this is what the graph looks like on Yahoo let

me zoom out a little bit since night since it goes back to this is as far as

Yahoo Finance goes back but as you can see it's got a very solid graph and from

what I can tell it looks like it's just gonna keep going up that's what it looks

like at the moment until something else changes but as you see guys on average

over the last 100 years you're gonna you can expect an 8% return on average and

the last 10 percent aren't me in the last 10 years you can expect around a 7%

return per year five years is about ten percent per year this is always changing

guys but to know that this has been around for 88 years and you're gonna

expect an 8% return that's pretty darn good just to point out the fees it's

very minimal it's only a quarter of a percent okay let's go on to the next one

guys okay Vanguard Morgan growth fund

investors shares VM our GX now all of these guys I will leave in the

description section below these ticker symbols so you can go back

and look them up yourself okay the Morgan Growth Fund so this

thing is made up of large growth domestic stocks so mainly stocks in the

states that's what they made my domestic right fund is 49 years old so it's been

around for a while it's been around the block a few times more okay so this year

and tooth are within from last year to now from so from June 2016 to June 2017

it's basically had a 20% return which is pretty stellar over three years its

average ten percent a year over five years about a fifteen percent return per

year ten years seven to eight percent since inception a ten percent average

annual rate of return pretty cool alright and on all these guys if you

look on the Vanguard website you if you click and find this fun on the Vanguard

website you can actually read about the fund and I highly encourage you to do so

because as a financial advisor recently told me you want to read this product

summary information because that helps you get an idea of what the fund manager

is thinking about all right so it's mate this fund is made up of 297 stocks the

one we were just looking at the Wellington fund is made up of 98 total

stocks but also notice the risk is a little higher meaning if the risk is

higher if the market goes down this is gonna go down faster what it's likely to

go down more than something with a lower amount of risk what does it own it owns

things like Apple Google Microsoft Facebook Amazon Visa Alibaba Priceline

group so a lot of technology stocks and this is the portfolio composition on

Vanguard website it doesn't have this information on all of them as you can

see this thing has 16% in consumer discretionary stocks it's mainly in

technology stocks right because all these are technical tech companies for

the most part so mainly tech and healthcare and consumer discretionary

but notice the chart it's a little choppy er than the last chart we looked

at on the Wellington fund and as you can see look at this guys if you remember

that the tech bubble of 2001 well look what this thing did when the tech bubble

burst this thing fell to the floor through the floor almost but now it's

very healthy its back up here but something to consider that

it does show if the market tanks this thing is gonna go down with it this is a

more aggressive fund so that is the Morgan the Vanguard Morgan growth fund

investor shares let's go on to the next one

Vanguard healthcare fund investor shares the GHC 8x okay healthcare industry so

this one's really sector specific buy-in by sector specific we're talking about

the healthcare sector the funds been around for 33 years which is one year

older than I am so this thing's been around longer than me

okay average annual performance since June since four in one year it's about

11 1/2 percent three years ten percent five years eighteen and a half ten years

eleven percent since inception this is really impressive

sixteen to seventeen percent average annual rate of return since inception

because healthcare is very important in the world we live in and that's why this

thing is so powerful this is probably the best performing mutual fund I have

to show you today of all of them alright low fee ratio of only 0.3 seven let's go

down here let's look at the portfolio composition it's made up of 76 stocks

look at mainly in biotech Healthcare distributors healthcare equipment

managed health care pharmaceuticals most of this stuff is farmed almost half of

the portfolios in pharmaceutical based companies and it owns things like

bristol-myers allergen United Healthcare Group which is an insurance company Eli

Lilly and Merck and just it goes on so forth and so forth and on and on so as

you can see this is what makes this fund up but notice notice the risk is at five

so this has this extreme amount of risk this is very aggressive but it has

performed at least in the past it has performed very well so honestly like on

average I think you could easily expect anywhere from 11 percent return to 16

percent return on average if you hold this thing long-term so like I said if

you go to the website in Vanguard you can read all about the product

summary of this mutual fund and this is what the graph looks like on this from

Yahoo Finance so it's had a pretty solid run it's cut back right here so it's

down in price a little bit so it might be it may be a good buying opportunity

depending on your opinion but that is the Vanguard healthcare fund investor

shares onto the fourth one all right so now we're looking at a Vanguard us

growth fund investor shares okay this is made up once again like the Morgan fund

this mate is made up of large growth domestic stocks it's got a fee ratio of

almost 1/2 percent and I forgot to put the age of the fund here but if you look

right here it says since 1959 so it's been around for over 50 years so in the

past year it's made about 19% rate of return in the last three years you can

expect 10% the last five years about 15% return per year 10-year average is about

8% and since inception is about 10% so I think just by looking at this you might

expect anywhere from you know an 8 to 10 percent rate of return if you hold this

thing long term based on his prior history this thing is made up of 152

stocks it's a 4 on the wrist scale so it's it's not completely aggressive but

it's a little bit more aggressive than moderate so keep risk in mind it's made

up primarily of consumer discretionary stocks it's made up of healthcare

companies information technology companies and here we go look at a third

of the portfolio is in companies like Google Facebook Microsoft MasterCard

PayPal Visa telogen Corp amount Amazon and what you're gonna find guys and I

think you'll agree with me if not it's totally fine to disagree with me but

what I found when I was doing my research the best all time performing

mutual funds usually were made up of technology stocks and healthcare stocks

because the human race he likes to continues progress in technology and

we're always concerned about our health and so in my opinion that's why these

things are so powerful and have performed so well over

these years as you see as you can guys can see most of these have a minimum

investment of about three thousand dollars and here is the graph on this

thing so notice you notice how a lot of it was in technology stocks well this is

the graph from Yahoo Finance going back to before 1985 and once again look at

this the tech bubble when the tech bubble burst look at how far this thing

fell this thing like I don't know went from looks like it went from like 46

bucks down to 10 ouch but obviously since then it's made quite

the recovery it still hasn't topped its all-time high but it could in the future

okay let's go on to the fifth one okay Vanguard Wesley income fund investor

shares vwi NX conservative allocation it's 57 years

old it has about 2% are less than a quarter

percent fee at the moment this is definitely a more conservative fund in

fact this is an income fund so this is if you're looking to achieve income from

investing in mutual funds this is one of the funds you might consider looking at

this thing has a about a one-year return of 5% three years around five seven five

years about 7 percent 10 years around 6 to 7 percent return and since exception

of 1970 which means it's 57 years old its average is about 10 percent are

close to 10 percent so if I'm looking at this and I'm just diving in at any given

point I can expect a 5 to 10 percent return realistically on this in my

opinion all right asset class it's balanced okay because it has a lot of

different funds our little eye sorry it's balanced because as holds a lot of

different stocks it has 63 total stocks and look how many bonds it has it has

nine hundred and ninety seven bonds in this thing which is what is helping

produce a lot of its income it's moderate on the risk scale so it's

definitely not aggressive but it's definitely not

super-conservative either minimum fee I mean sorry minimum investments $3,000

all of these have a $3,000 minimum investment if you go to Vanguard you can

read the product summary on this thing and it holds companies like Microsoft JP

Morgan or Chase Bank basically Philip Morris which is a cigarette company

Wells Fargo Johnson & Johnson Cisco Systems Pfizer Merck Dow Chemical Intel

etc this is what the graph looks like has a really healthy graph to be honest

from as far as a stark chart goes so look at all the dividend payments as

made throughout the years quite a few and you can see it's they had a pretty

healthy growth trend overall and and looks like it's gonna continue into the

future based on how this is going it has an upward trend okay guys let's look at

the sixth and final fund okay so now we are looking at the Vanguard Windsor fun

investor shares do not mix this up with the Wellington fund that was the other

fund with the W so PW and DX 59 years old so this thing is pretty old

fees of about less than a quarter percent and this thing's been poor

performing pretty well so over one year it's made 23 percent three years about

six or seven percent return five years is there out 14 to 15 percent average

annual return 10 years is around 5% and since its inception this is actually the

second highest rate of return since inception of all the six of these listed

11% so I think if you're looking at this if you're looking at investing in this I

think you could reasonably expect anywhere from a six to an 11 percent

return if your if you ask me okay what's this thing made up of okay domestic

stocks so a lot of domestic stocks in the u.s. very low expense ratios these

this is the advisor of the fund Wellington management is the advisor and

it looks like there's a second investment management company as well in

this okay let's go down here guys it's made up of 141 different stocks

and I just want to point out because I forgot to on the earlier ones is if you

go to the Vanguard website and you click on the mutual fund you can actually see

the entire list of holdings which as you saw my when I was going through my

research you can where the it's right if you let me back up because I cannot

speak alright so if you go back to the Vanguard website and you're looking at a

mutual fund I'm just gonna well I'm in one right now I'm in the Wellington fund

on the website but if you want to see what it holds you go down here to the

bottom of the page and go to portfolio holdings and that's how you can see

every single holding in this mutual fund now since this is actively all of these

are actively managed these the stocks in this mutual fund can change over time

like I said earlier so just keep that in mind but this is everything that makes

up this mutual fund so let me go back to my spreadsheet okay so top 10 largest

holdings Citigroup Bank of America American International Group

bristol-myers Broadcom MetLife United Health Group so it sounds like a lot of

financial stocks and which is that seems to be true because if I look at the

portfolio composition look at financial stocks 25 percent so a quarter of the

holdings of this mutual fund are in financial base stocks it has some

consumer staples consumes consumer discretionary stocks it's got some

utility companies and information technology doesn't have the prettiest

graph by any means but still one of the best performing Vanguard mutual funds of

all time for sure so it's had its ups and downs notice during the tech bubble

one of the tech bubble burst it didn't eat it too hard however because it holds

financial company stocks look how hard it got hit because remember when 2008

happened the banks got hit pretty hard before they got bailed out but from a

stock perspective they did get pretty hit pretty hard so this thing fell to

the floor it went from it looks like nineteen

dollars a share down to around nine dollars down here so it took a pretty

big hit but it looks to be doing fine now

alright guys these are what I found to be in my personal opinion to be the best

all-time six Vanguard mutual funds ever in existence and like I said as we've

seen all of these are all over 30 plus years old so you have a lot of data to

run on I just want to point out a couple of little things so as you know we

looked at this kind of chart which shows the average annual rate of return on

each of these mutual funds just so you know that if you go and browse the

Vanguard website you might see some of the funds that say since the inception

with higher average rates of return then then the ones listed but the other thing

too you have to consider I think of is that those funds have been around for a

much shorter period of time than all of these these have been around the longest

and I've had the highest rate of return that I could find on the Vanguard

website alright guys that is all I have for you today I'm gonna be launching a

website soon and soon as I launch it I will put it in the comment section down

below on this video of where you can go and find this excel document that I used

in the video that breaks down all the research I did on those six mutual funds

and so you can download it for yourself and you can look at the numbers for

yourself remember guys always do your own research on this consider consulting

with a financial advisor on your investments they truly are the ones who

will usually know mutual fund the best of anybody because that they know that

people who do the research on them right I mean that's these large investment

companies are the ones who do extensive research on these funds in the in what

stocks go into these things so always consider that but of course I know like

if you're like me I like to do my own investing but always do keep that in

mind or at least consider it alright guys thank you so much for

watching let me know if you found this video helpful if I could have done

anything better explain this better if I didn't explain something right be like

wearing this fall I'm gonna share with you 10 of my fall fragrances and also don't forget to

watch all the way to the end of the video because today I'm doing a giveaway

let's get started number 10 on my list is Gucci Bloom now

I've been trying out Gucci Bloom for a couple of weeks now this is brand new

to the market and I actually really like it. Gucci Bloom is a beautiful floral scent that is

so well done it's composed of jasmine tuberose and Rangoon creeper and it's

perfect for daytime or nighttime and I could definitely see this being

someone's signature scent coming in at number nine is Feve Delicieuse by Christian Dior now

Feve Delicieuse by Christian Dior is a beautiful sweet gourmand scent it came to the market in 2015 so we've

got two years on this one and it's composed by Francois Tamaki who has made

a ton of fragrances that we know and love for the two your line one of my

favorites is Dior Addict. Feve Delicieuse by Christian Dior is sweet sophisticated and exquisite it's

composed of Venezuelan tonka bean which I happen to love tonka bean and a

fragrance it really grounds it in this earthy creaminess what

I adore this is certainly one to try Feve Delicieuse by Christian Dior if you're a gourmand lover and you're

looking to add something sweet to your collection if you're on a budget Dior

Poison Girl is a really nice alternative to this one they're composed by the same

perfumer and they have similar notes so this one is more price friendly if

that's something that you're curious about. Coming in at number eight is Tom

Ford's Noir Extreme. Now Tom Ford Noir Extreme is geared towards men but do not let that

deter you ladies this one is just for you Tom Ford Noir Extreme was created in 2015 by Sonya

constant she's the perfumer behind this fragrance and I have to say I adore it

this is something that wears very close to the skin so be careful with it it's

perfect for a night out or Close Encounters if you know what I mean

spicy and sensual you just cannot go wrong with Tom Ford Noir Extreme

coming in in the number seven spot is Good Girl Gone Bad by Killian now this

is an oldie but goodie it's a fruity floral but I feel like

it's modern and bewitching it has notes of jasmine rose tuberose plums and Good Girl Gone Bad by Killian

is a fruity floral that's sweet but not too sweet

and it's a floral fragrance that's very charming and adult like so when I wear

this fragrance it has tropical nuances to it that I appreciate and Good Girl Gone Bad by Killian is perfect

for an Indian summer fall fragrance Number six on my TOP 10 BEST PERFUMES FOR WOMEN is

Carolina Herrera's Good Girl and I have it right here and if you can see that that is

some killer shoe now isn't it. Carolina Herrera's Good Girl is a gem it is feminine it's

glamorous it has notes of almond coffee tuberose jasmine and i'm sure you're

noticing a trend here there's something about jasmine and tuberose that I really

like in a fragrance but I have to say that Carolina Herrera's Good Girl is such an odd fragrance because

it has this almond and coffee note it also has this floral essence to it and I

really enjoy it from start to finish it beautiful and that vanilla dry down

makes it full bottle worthy so now we're down to the top five on this TOP 10 BEST PERFUMES FOR WOMEN countdown

and these are fragrances that I would consider must-haves in your women's fall

fragrance collection so let's get into number five coming in at number five is

La Yuquwam Pour Homme by Rasasi, so we know this one in the

fragrance community and I have to say I like it I actually love it

it would be considered a clone to Tuscan leather by Tom Ford

however La Yuquwam Pour Homme Rasasi super wearable and sweeter and fruitier and sexier it has a dark

edginess to it so if you're a fan of wearing all black or putting on that

leather jacket of yours you might want to add La Yuquwam Pour Homme by Rasasi to your collection

it projects to the heavens and you will get compliments on this one I highly

suggest this one even over the Tom Ford Tuscan Leather love you Tom but again for the price

point and the smell the longevity the performance of this fragrance La Yuquwam Pour Homme by Rasasi

overall really worth it coming in in the number-4 spot is Blamage Nasomatto

This fragrance is beautiful and somehow I feel like it's been

overlooked Blamage Nasomatto is perfect for a night out and once that cool weather hits this

fragrance in the air oh you're gonna faint the notes aren't listed but I get

plenty of leather and peach and what a combination that is. Coming in in the

number three spot is Gabrielle Chanel now everyone needs a Chanel in their

fragrance wardrobe I'm just saying. Gabrielle Chanel is very new to the market and I've

been testing it because I purchased it over a month ago and I have to say I've

been loving it. Gabrielle Chanel is a very sheer ethereal fragrance from Chanel and that

is not what the House of Chanel normal does which is why I actually like Gabrielle Chanel. it's refreshingly light and I really

enjoy wearing it I mean let's be for real

can you ever go wrong with Chanel? Coming in in the number two spot is a

fragrance that I just you know what I'm weak

this fragrance makes me weak it is from the House of Sillage Cherry Garden

. So House of Sillage Cherry Garden is a beautiful, beautiful in gourmand oriental fragrance

it has notes of almonds vanilla musk it is so freaking gorgeous. House of Sillage Cherry Garden is a

compliment getter and I definitely see it as being unisex men can wear it as

well first of all let's have a moment for the presentation of House of Sillage Cherry Garden

because it is glorious beautifully done amazing presentation

will look so decadent sitting on top of a dresser or an armoire my plan to make

this one my fall signature because I've been stocking it for a while and I'm

just I'm all-in so last but certainly not least coming in in the number one

on TOP 10 BEST PERFUMES FOR WOMEN and FALL FRAGRANCES is Byredo's Gypsy Water oh I

if I could drop my mic right now I totally would it is so unique and Byredo's Gypsy Water is

so perfect for the Fall juniper berries bergamot lemon and since vanilla

there's amber and their pine needles I really love the dry down and this one as

well and it is somewhat reminiscent of gold by commodity just the dry down but

the opening of this from start to finish it is just like magic this where's well

when it comes to longevity but when it comes to projection is definitely where

is light so I would suggest layering it you know the house with of Byredo has got

you covered they've got the Byredo Gypsy Water lotion they've got the Byredo Gypsy Water Kabuki brush they've got

the Byredo Gypsy Water hair perfume all of which I'll be buying for myself even though I keep my

hair tied up it is the perfect perfect fall scent and I know I'll be enjoying

Byredo Gypsy Water this fall so there you have it let's talk let me know down in the

comment box below what fragrance you'll be wearing this fall and I'll be doing a

How to Get Your Period Back Naturally With 3 Simple Tips - Duration: 6:41.

hi guys I'm Rita and today I'm going to share with you three very important tips

very practical tips on how to get your period back the first thing you want to

do is increase your carbon take carbon take is very very important because it

can help with so many things one of the things it can help with in calm down

your adrenal gland and your adrenal gland is what produces stress hormone

and when you are giving your body some in that you could educate amount of

carbs then you are helping your adrenal glands produce less stress hormones

which is something you really don't need much of especially when you're suffering

from type of the limited with ammonia and so by giving your body an educated

amount of parts you're actually taking off some pressure from your adrenal

gland and therefore if you give your body a chance to not always be at the

firearm flight mode but also given in advance to go more into that

parasympathetic nervous system which is among other things not the wakeboard or

lose your reproductive system so another thing that's good about your body's

adding extra carbs into your diet time to me in your paragraph incest and we

help give you a good bacteria so you know that we're actually 90 percent

bacteria and this that's so crazy but you can see how

important it is for our good bacteria to be having carbs because they love carbs

they love sugar and you want to be giving them something to munch on I

guess if you say so that's very important because when you're not giving

your feeding your good bacteria then you are also not oh you're probably not

absorbing all the nutrients that are important for optimal health and also at

the same time your body will be able without all the necessary nutrients and

that's very fuel your body also won't be able to be working on getting your

period back so carbs is my number one tip just eat your carbs do not be afraid

and you you can just you know advice is a good form of heart right yes he wants

potatoes starchy vegetable like like if the sweet potatoes corn and there are

just so many things and a lot of food all that stuff and it's really good I

really look for my heart so number two is to get good sleep I know that if

you're underweight one of the side effects is or can be insomnia or just

you know just not being able to sleep very well but that doesn't mean you can

be working on your sleep at the same time as you are working on getting your

period factory that will really help you with your period when you're sleeping so

much happens I can't even I don't even know exactly what's happening where

you're sleeping but I know for a fact that it will help you relax

restore and your body you're just giving you

this you're giving your body a chance to to do all the things that need to do at

night when you're sleeping and they're normal to help you get your period set

so I have made a few about how to sleep better I'm sure I think it's seven tips

on how we do better and they're very some of them are practical tips up above

are not your intention but more mental and I have a little exam in the

description box but also I I'm going to share with you a lychee think you could

download for free where I share like one kind of case you can be drinking and

what kind of movements that you can do to help you sleep better and what kind

of affirmation that will help you calm down your eyes and also get better so

first one was carved two to three numbers three is to get uncomfortable by

that I mean I you have to get uncomfortable with with gaining weight

and with just eating more but I don't know if anyone who's been able to get

their period back without gaining at least a little bit of weight you have to

get comfortable I mean yeah you have to be comfortable getting uncomfortable I

guess it's very very important there's no way out and just increase your food

intake and exercise less I'm sorry to hear this I'm sorry to tell you this I

know that's not what you want to hear trust me I tried to or I was hoping to

get my period back without having to gain weight that have to cut off my own

excise so scary for me but once I got out of my comfort zone I promise that

when changes seven is to happen so yeah those are my three tips please

let me know if you have any questions and let me know if you're going to

implement all these three tips you can't really just work on one and not the

other two you have to do all three at once and I know it's very uncomfortable

and very different for everybody but you have to do it if you want so badly I

know you are going to do it I believe in you like I said if you have any

questions make sure that you ask me down below otherwise please like this video

subscribe to my channel and if you want more personal help for me I do have a

website Rodrigo comm you can go there and you

can schedule a call with me and we can see how we can work together on getting

your period back other than that thank you I will see you next time

我的廣播室 - My Podcast Setup - Duration: 2:20.

Hello guys! I am Lucas from Chile

Since soon I will be making these three podcasts, where I will be

Talking random stuff

Using Cantonese to teach Spanish

And teaching Cantonese to foreigners

I have bought some stuff.

First you might notice I upgraded the camera.

I want the quality to be better.

Before I used to use my phone, and even though is not that bad

Using a real camera should be better

The second thing I bought, is a light.

This. It will help me have better lighting

It has two colours, cool and warm.

The other one is this one, it can change colours.

Green

Red - woo, scary.

Blue ... Purple

Let me make it normal

Nope, like this. yeah.

So more light will make it clearer

Because I need to show you, for example,

When I teach Spanish I need to show very clearly

My mouth and my lips and my tongue, how they move.

This is necessary.

The last thing I bought is...

And because it is for you guys' sake,

I have bought this Microphone. Let's try its sound.

I start recording..

Since I went to RTHK (Radio Television Hong Kong)

I saw they also do it like this.

When you can listen to yourself clearly, you can adjust your own voice and make it sound better.

"Welcome to today's...

1 Minute Spanish"

Mhh... sounds quite nice.

I will just hold it for now, fine.

Yep, so, the coming Spanish lessons will be held in this setup.

So, I hope you guys will like them.

And you guys will be able to hear clearly and learn a lot.

After this video, I will immediately upload the first episode of

"1 Minute Spanish"

So I hope you guys will like it.

Remember to help me share this video to your friends.

Like, and if you haven't subscribed yet, hurry and do so.

I will see you next time.

Good bye

It really sounds quite good.

10 Most Beautiful Bays in the World - Duration: 10:55.

10 Most Beautiful Bays in the World.

A bay is loosely defined as a body of water partly enclosed by land.

Generally they have calmer waters than the surrounding sea and are a good place for ships

to shelter from the weather.

When large and deep enough, bays become natural harbors which are often of great economic

and strategic importance.

Many of the great cities of the world are located on a natural harbor.

This top 10 features some of the most beautiful bays and famous stretches of coastline in

the world.

10: Bay of Fundy.

The Bay of Fundy, located on the Atlantic coast of Canada, is famous for its high tidal

range.

Because of the unique shape of the bay, the difference in water level between high tide

and low tide can be as much as 16 meters (52 feet).

One of the best places to watch the tides are the Hopewell Rocks, a number of sandstone

towers topped by trees.

The base of the rock formations are covered in water twice a day and can be seen from

the ground level at low tide.

9: Paradise Bay.

Paradise Bay is one of only two places used by cruise ships to stop on Antarctica (the

other is Neko Harbour).

Consequently it is one of Antarctica's most visited areas.

The bay is surrounded by heavily glaciated mountains and ice cliffs.

Activities include cruising between iceberg with inflatable zodiac boats, visiting a Chilean

research station and photographing penguin habitats.

8: Bay of Islands.

The Bay of Islands is one of the most popular tourist attractions in New Zealand.

The picturesque area contains 144 islands, many secluded bays and some great sandy beaches.

This beautiful bay has an abundance of marine life including whales, penguins, dolphins

and the big marlin.

Not surprisingly, it is a popular gathering place for sailing yachts on world cruises

and international sport fishermen.

The bay is also historically significant as it was the first part of New Zealand settled

by Europeans.

7: Bay of Kotor.

The Bay of Kotor is located in south-western Montenegro on the Adriatic Sea.

It is one of Europe's most beautiful bays and often mistaken for a fjord, but is in

fact a submerged river canyon.

The idyllic shore of the Bay of Kotor is lined with numerous beaches, several tourist resorts

and the picturesque towns of Risan, Perast and Kotor.

6: Phang Nga Bay.

Located just over 95 km (60 miles) from the island of Phuket, Phang Nga Bay is one of

Thailand's most scenic areas.

It consists of beautiful caves, aquatic grottoes and limestone islands some of which reach

300 meter (984 feet) high.

The most famous island in the bay is a needle formed limestone rock called Ko Ping Kan (more

commonly known as James Bond Island) which was featured in the James Bond movie "The

Man with the Golden Gun".

A popular way of visiting Phang Nga Bay is by sea kayak as they are the only way to get

inside the grottoes and sea caves.

5: Victoria Harbour.

Victoria Harbour is a major tourist attraction in Hong Kong and one of the deepest container

ports in the world.

The bay offers stunning views of the skyscrapers of Hong Kong island on one side, and the Tsim

Sha Tsui shoreline on the other.

Victoria Harbour is also one of the busiest harbors in the world with hundreds of ferries,

junks and speed boats darting up and down the shore.

One of the best ways to see the harbor is a trip on the Star Ferry.

4: Port Jackson.

Port Jackson is the natural harbor of Sydney, one of the world's most livable and beautiful

cities.

With its hundreds of bays, coves, beaches and waterways, the harbor contributes to Sydney's

scenic beauty in a major way.

The harbor also contains two of Sydney's most famous landmarks: the Sydney Opera House

and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

3: San Francisco Bay.

San Francisco Bay is situated on the Californian coast.

The area around the bay, commonly known as the Bay Area, is the American West's second-largest

urban area with approximately 8 million residents.

San Francisco is the financial center of the Bay Area while San Jose is the most populous

city.

The bay contains many islands including the small island of Alcatraz which served as a

prison until 1963.

The Golden Gate, which opens the bay to the Pacific Ocean, is spanned by the famous Golden

Gate Bridge.

2: Guanabara Bay.

Guanabara Bay is a beautiful bay located in southeastern Brazil.

The bay is surrounded by tropical forests, beaches, strangely-shaped rocks, the high

mountains of Serra do Marl and the neighborhoods of Rio de Janeiro.

The bay was discovered in January 1, 1502 by Portuguese explorer Gaspar de Lemos, who

named it Rio de Janeiro (January River) thinking it was a large river.

The name Guanabara comes from the Tupi-Guarani language.

1: Ha Long Bay.

Ha Long Bay is situated in north Vietnam round a 120 kilometer long coast line and is literally

translated as "Bay of Descending Dragons".

The bay is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Vietnam and features thousands

of islands, each topped with thick jungle vegetation, forming a spectacular seascape

of limestone pillars.

Several of the islands are hollow, with enormous caves, others islands include lakes and some

support floating villages of fishermen.

Why Foreigners Love Seoul, but I Don't Get It - Duration: 4:26.

This is Dongjak Bridge, near Ichon station.

I happened to meet a foreign friend on this day.

She's an exchange student who studies in SKKU Suwon campus.

But because I didn't know about her, I didn't have any shooting plan.

So we just walked talking about this and that,

and did any stuff

There's one thing I talked about with Louisa.

So I wrote it down on a receipt of something we ate together.

It's "People like things that they don't have, but others have."

It's like...

It's like you often think your friend's food looks much nicer than what you ordered.

Right.

People really get to like things that they don't own.

Seoul is colorful.

But as a person living in Seoul, this makes me dizzy.

Doesn't rather Europe looks nicer cuz it looks consistent?

I think it's nicer cuz there's harmony there.

I spent a day traveling Seoul with Louisa.

Louisa said she likes Seoul cuz it's colorful and has many stuff.

But I don't like those things.

Maybe cuz I live here, I rather like spacious and relaxing place.

but because Louisa is from that kinda place,

she loves Seoul things.

Hope there's no misunderstanding.

Seoul is my favorite city.

But it's just that I love different parts.

People like me easily get bored of something,

so it's just that I wouldn't enjoy what is too used to me.

5 BOTCHED NXT Call-Ups In WWE! - Duration: 8:11.

For those not in the know, NXT is WWE's developmental system where they train and

prepare the wrestlers who will lead the company into the future.

WWE Champions Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens have all come through the yellow

brand, but you don't always get to debut on the main roster as part of a cool faction,

or in a feud with John Cena.

In fact, more often than not, Vince McMahon puts you in a cape.

I am Luke Owen and these are five botched NXT Call-Ups.

Bo Dallas

It's amazing to think that Bo Dallas is a former NXT Champion.

The belt that has been held by names like Seth Rollins, Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura.

Not only that, but he holds the record for the third longest reign behind Finn Balor

and Neville.

Dallas was looking to get a big push on his debut on the main roster - lasting 20 minutes

in the 2013 Royal Rumble and entering into a feud with Wade Barrett over the Intercontinental

Championship.

When he made his full transition to the main roster in 2014, he went on a winning streak

on TV doing his Bo-lieve gimmick, but after returning from a four-month injury in 2015,

he was treated like a jobber.

He would interrupt promos from Sting and Brock Lesnar only to get beaten up by the much bigger

stars.

Things looked like they were getting back on track when he became part of The Social

Outcasts, but they also quickly became a joke act.

So, in all, Bo Dallas made his main roster debut in 2013, and it took until 2017 before

he's done anything of note.

And even then it's been dressing up like The One Man Gang for The Miz.

Tyler Breeze

Prince Pretty was at the top of the NXT card during a time when Neville, Sami Zayn and

Tyson Kidd were competing for the NXT Championship - and before that he was the FCW Champion

in 2012.

While he never held the gold in NXT, he was always in main event or semi-main event level

feuds, and even had a match with the legendary Jushin Thunder Liger at the first NXT Takeover:

Brooklyn.

It's a shame then that his call-up to the main roster has been somewhat flat.

Breeze made his WWE debut in October 2015 on Smackdown, and was brought out by his new

valet Summer Rae.

He then went into a feud with Dolph Ziggler, and won their first match at Survivor Series.

But then, for whatever reason, Tyler Breeze went on a losing streak.

His partnership with Summer Rae was quietly dropped and he lost to Ziggler a couple more

times to end that feud - and then lost virtually every match he was a part of until May 2016.

He formed Breezango with the similarly underused Fandango after turning on his previous partner

R-Truth - who remembers that tag team? - but it wasn't until April 2017 that the team

was taken somewhat seriously thanks to their backstage Fashion Files skits.

The Ascension

Here's a fun fact for you: The Ascension - at the time of writing - are the longest

reigning NXT Tag Team Champions.

Granted they held them during a time when NXT weren't doing regular Takeover shows,

but their reign still lasted just under an entire year beating teams like Too Cool and…

well that's about it.

Their call up to the main roster is one of the more interesting in recent times.

The whole point of NXT is to develop characters, promo styles and wrestling styles, but The

Ascension were brought up to Raw and Smackdown with a gimmick overhaul.

Gone were the mysterious gothic powerhouses, and in their place were Road Warrior knock

offs complete with facepaint and shouty promos.

Demoliti - I mean The Ascension - made their main roster debut on December 29th 2014 and

began feuding with The New Age Outlaws, leading to a victorious match at the 2015 Royal Rumble.

But it was all downhill from there.

By May 2015, they had only won a couple of their television matches, and lost many more.

By the end of the year they had aligned themselves with Stardust as The Cosmic Wasteland, but

the team quietly disbanded in early 2016.

Since then, there has been nothing of note in their main roster careers, becoming the

butt of the joke in Breezango's Fashion Files vignettes.

American Alpha

Speaking of tag teams wasted on the main roster, how about former NXT Tag Team Champions American

Alpha?!

The team - made up of Chad Gable and Jason Jordan - quickly became one of the most popular

tag acts in NXT due to their amazing in-ring work.

They had great feuds with The Revival, Authors of Pain and The Vaudevillains - including

an amazing tag team championship victory at NXT Takeover: Dallas in 2016.

The pair came up to the main roster as part of the Brand Split in late 2016 [39] and quickly

got into a feud with the newly heel Usos.

They won the Smackdown Live tag team championships from Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt in December

2016, but lost them shortly thereafter to The Usos just before WrestleMania 33 without

a feud.

The following week's Superstar Shake-Up made Gable and Jordan an afterthought.

"Once the decision to move the New Day to Smackdown was made, [American Alpha] were

no longer in the top face team spot…"

- Dave Meltzer, Wrestling Observer Newsletter, July 24th 2017

And then, after being mostly absent from TV, Jason Jordan was revealed as Kurt Angle's

illegitimate son on the July 17th 2017 episode of Raw. Jordan moved to the red brand as a

result, splitting the team up in the process.

Bayley

Is there really a more wasted NXT call-up than Bayley?

Of WWE's Four Horsewomen, Bayley was the last to be called up to the main roster, but

was one of the most over babyfaces on the entire brand.

Her character went on a huge evolution in NXT, going from a fan happy to be there to

the underdog chasing the championship from bully heels Charlotte and Sasha Banks.

She eventually won the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn I in what Dave Meltzer

reckons, "what may have been the best woman's match in WWE history."

She was beloved by the NXT crowd, and was considered a female version of John Cena that

actually connected with the audience.

A huge merchandise seller with the capacity to be a hero to young girls - a market WWE

have historically struggled to get.

So how could they possibly botch that?

Bayley joined the WWE main roster in August 2016 and was instantly put into the title

picture with Charlotte and Banks.

She challenged for the Raw Women's Championship several times, and following an unsuccessful

attempt at Royal Rumble 2017, she captured the title on a random episode of Raw.

She defended the belt through WrestleMania, but then lost the championship at Payback

in her hometown of San Jose.

She then had an awful This Is Your Life segment with Alexa Bliss and a dreadful Kendo Stick

on a Pole Match at Extreme Rules.

Since then, WWE's poor booking of Bayley turned the crowd against her - even booing

her during her announcement that she was injured and wouldn't be able to compete at Summerslam.

Maybe some of these call-ups should be cut from the WWE Network - like these other clips!

And what about Mick Foley's botched retirement?

How to play Dunmore Lassies on low D whistle - Rapalje Show 25 - Duration: 13:14.

Welcome to the 25th Rapalje Show

And we had another celebration: The 10.000th subscriber here on this YouTube channel

Thank you very much for subscribing for this channel

As you see we left a mess

while we were celebrating on our Facebook live chat

last Tuesday

Hip hip hurray!

I blown a hole in the ceiling

And now we're going to clean up the mess I made with this gun

And eh, and David is going to help me with it

And then he's going to play a tune for you

He's going to play Dunmore Lassies on his low whistle

and he's going to explain how to play it

Jessica Lee Castle asked me

David who does a video about how to play Dunmore Lassie

She asked me to do a video about how I play Dunmore Lassie

so that's what we're going to do in this episode

And Ineke Anthoni:

Is it a low whistle in F or in D? So beautiful!

She asks if the low whistle is in F or D

It's a Chieftain

Low D whistle

Now I'm going to play Dunmore Lassie one time

and after that play it very slowly and write it down

And now I'm going to play it very slowly and after that I write it down

Bits by pieces of pieces by bit or bits by bits, pieces by pieces?

Wha, la, la ,la, don't know

Now we're going to do the

first line of Dunmore Lassie, very slowly

And now I have to write it down

First, I make some lines

One

Two

Three, four

Five

We're going to do four lines, so I

I write the other ones as well

Did it with a "Folk im Schlosshof" Live DVD

I don't know anything about the ornamentation so I use my bagpipe

Gracenotes

to explain something what I do with the fingers

So this one here

is a slide

This one here are the gracenotes

So, next:

Yeah, that, eh

Take two! Ha, ha, ha!

Look, four

Nice figure in front of it: Ups-a-daisy!

Now, see, no so bad after all

Now here I'm doing a puff: pff, pff

Oh no, Tss, Tss

And such a Tss

Oh yeah

So I don't know the

Ornamentation of a flute, so I write the

ornamentation of bagpipes with it

and hopefully you can

See which note the ornamentation is

and you could do it yourself

Now, and then we go into the first part again

With the gracenotes

Now I'm going to play the second line

of Dunmore Lassie

Ahh, and we can do

you have to play it twice, so

So..

we go to the

Eh, third line

Yeah..

Now..

One

Eh, David, would you like to have a cup of coffee?

Yes please - It's a lot of work.

Em, shall I ask Thomas, one of our technicians, to make a cup of coffee for you?

Oh, really, really, really good! Yeah, yeah, yeah!

Cheers, cheers!

There's your coffee! - Ah, thanks!

Thank you very much for the brazilian coffee

Oh, tasted very good!

We're going to move on to the last line of Dunmore Lassie

To be honest, I don't understand this

I know the system from notes

But I can't read notes. I can never play from notes

Me neither

It was a big puzzle

I think the Scottish gracenotes are more explaining the ornaments

Instead of a little sign that there is going to be an ornament on that place

So, that's why I write the scottish notation

So this is the tune Dunmore Lassie

I will write the name above it

Dun-more

With my eyes on it!

You can download a copy of this sheet of paper with the links in our description

By the way, thank you very much Moniek for this a nice t-shirt

It says Maceál, the one and only

I used to drink a lot of - Ha, ha, ha, the one...

I used to drink a lot of chocolate milk when I was younger

"Evolution of a scotsman"

So, that's the Wild Rover

and that's our last song

and the song before that I play the bagpipes

And, this one is me eating

And this one is getting on stage

And...

That's the morning when you wake up

That's, eh, to the coffee

Jessica Lee Castle, we want to give you this

Original - original

In your post at home

If you leave me a personal message here on YouTube or in Facebook

with your postal address we will send it to your home

And anyone who has another idea for a

a person, instrument, tune our song to write down,

please write it in the comments

And, we will make more of these shows if you like them

The melody Dunmore Lassie

is standing on this DVD. We played it here live on stage in "Folk im Schlosshof"

And with two beautiful dancers

So!

So?

Be easy and free

when you're drinking with me

a cup of coffee

or learning a tune...

you

Nági & Betti - Morning - Duration: 3:06.

- Morning!

I'm a cool girl - that's what folks say

Why should I ever be afraid?

So share a secret now I dare:

My dreams got broke away from me!

When night-time looms my thoughts ignite

Cannot leave demons behind

A frightened head weighs my pillow

Will they meet my morning eyes? - I'd like to know

Nothing keeps the breeze underneath my sheets

from making all hopes freeze

Just a few more minutes please...

Here comes morning, wake-up call

"Let's get going" - sings the alarm

Halfway conscious, halfway dull

Grab some coffee - half a jar

Stars are hiding, yet bright's the sky

7 AM has passed us by

Oh what a shame...

I'm in a 2-hour delay.

If I were the president

I would have my message sent:

Laws do not permit to worry

No one should get up in a hurry

According to my philosophy

"It's better late than early"

Sluggish ones need no compromise

Nor those who wait till noon with rolling up the blinds

But dreams go to waste

Disappointment strikes again

Nightmares - my sole mates

interrupting eyelid-gaze

Cause, here comes morning, wake-up call

"Let's get going" - sings the alarm

Halfway conscious, halfway dull

Grab some coffee - half a jar

Stars are hiding, yet bright's the sky

7 AM has passed us by

Oh what a shame...

I'm in a 2-hour delay.

Here comes morning, wake-up call
