Let's Talk CW: Is Orsis Still Effective? (Contract Wars) - Duration: 8:14.

So recently I saw this Facebook poll in the CWs group

Asking if sniping in Contract Wars was still effective

Which reminded me of a discussion I had with Tarjei, better known as DeNeRlX I guess

About basically the same subject and

As a response to that I actually made a Facebook poll myself asking if you guys want a video on what I think of sniping in CW right now

And that's basically this, I don't really have a plan on how I'm going to do this video

I have a 6 sentence script infront of me

And I'll try to fill up the time with just that

So starting off I guess with this entire commosion on why wouldn't it still be effective, what changed?

The main, or basically the only reason, is that the Orsis got customization

And I think it's pretty well-known that the Orsis is basically the most popular sniper rifle in CW

And I think the only sniper rifle that can really match its performance in high levels would be the VSSK Viklhop

But since it's 20 SP, basically nobody gets it

So first of all, leave your own opinion on whether you think sniping is still effective in CW in the comment section

I'll kind a review and see what all of you think

But for me, I'm going to give my own opinion now and then develop it further on

And give some facts about what actually changed

So, what changed about the Orsis with customization and the entire balancing to it?

The bolt action became slower, so it has a longer time between taking shots

It takes a longer time to scope in

And the mobility decreased, that's kind a hard to explain

The base statistics of the gun, didn't actually change

But because it now has customization, the scope that was already on the Orsis originally

Now actually decreases its mobility

I don't really know if you know what I mean, but if a gun gets customization the mods that are on it start affecting the statistics

But if a gun does not have customization, the mods that are on it by default don't change the statistics

If you don't get what I mean, all you have to know basically is that the Orsis with the same mods now has -8 mobility

With the default mods

So what do I actually think of this entire balancing?

I think I have quite a different opinion to most people I spoke to about this

I think this is the best weapon balancing CW has ever done

So while all of you basically are complaining it has gotten ruined, I think it's the best thing ever

Because, if you look at previously overpowered guns, and yes I'd consider the old Orsis overpowered,

Because it was way too good at basically everything and way too fast for a sniper

The SR3M for example was really overpowered too, and they basically balanced it and nerfed it into oblivion

I personally think they completely ruined it while it was my favourite gun

But with the Orsis it's different

The main question I guess is, is it still effective?

I guess it's pretty obvious it became less effective

Because when you nerf a gun's statistics badly, it will basically always become less effective than it already was

But, I do not think it became ineffective

And I think, what most of you don't have, if you play the proper playstyle for a sniper, it became more effective

So I'm gonna go into that further so you can actually understand what I mean

If you look at the actual complaints that I personally saw,

Was that because of the time between shots, it became harder to make multi-kills

The first thing I think is why are you trying to make multi-kills with a sniper, that's not really what it's meant for

Same goes for time to scope in

This is not Call of Duty, you're not supposed to quick-scope at your enemies

And slower mobility, I think that a sniper is supposed to position himself well and for long distances, you could just take out your pistol

If you noticed the "subtle" cut, it's because I just ruined something, but let's just ignore that

How are you actually supposed to play a sniper, and why does in my opinion this actually become a really good thing?

Why do I think this is the best balancing CW has ever done

As I already said, like with overpowered guns before like SR3M they basically ruined it

The Noveske was really good and now a lot less

But with the Orsis I actually think they did something really nice

Because they punished things, the bolt action, the time-to-scope and the mobility, I can't count

That actually shouldn't make a difference, if you're using the gun right

But the thing is, most of you that are complaining in my opinion aren't using the gun right

Because I see all these people that are way too aggressive with it and simply aren't using the sniper right

But, the customization actually adds one thing, that in my opinion is very important to properly playing a sniper

And that's basically a silencer

Because in my opinion, the way you're supposed to use the Orsis

And the way this update actually doesn't matter much or even makes it more effective

Is that you're basically a lone wolf around the map and you play from a really long distance

So the enemy can't really hit you

And you're supposed to pick off individuals

Basically be a nuisance to the enemy team

And not actually easy to kill or find

So what customization adds, is silencers

Which makes this amazing, because if you told me 2 years ago

That there was going to be an update that the Orsis would actually get a silencer

It would basically cover the only weakness it had

But, the thing is, most of you are playing just way too aggressive with the Orsis

You have to keep the distance, you have to keep picking off enemies at long range

And yes, that is a pretty boring style to play

And it's way slower, but the multi-kills, you shouldn't be getting them

You shouldn't play like that. That's why everybody keeps complaining that the Orsis became less effective

Because everybody's playing way too aggressive, the speed shouldn't matter

You're supposed to pick off enemies at long range, that's it

So yes it became slower, but no, it didn't become ineffective

And yes, it became less effective at how you played it

But no, it didn't become less effective at what the Orsis is actually good for

This update nerfed the Orsis on areas that you shouldn't be using it for

Which is a quick-scope gun, a multi-kill gun

And actually complimented its actual use

By adding the silencer and basically making you much stealthier around the map

And the whole thing like you can choose your own sight now if you really didn't like the previous scope

That's a simple bonus I guess

So, this is a pretty amateuristic video, I didn't really have much preparation

But that's basically my opinion on the new Orsis, it's the best weapon balancing CW has ever done

And it's far from ineffective

So ye, that's kind of the end of the video, isn't it?

doll makeup tutorial okay so we're just starting everything else is done my

foundation is done and we're just gonna take this palette and it's a foundation

palette but I find that it has all these different colors and it works for pretty

much everything so I'm gonna take a shade of maroon and just like stick it

on my lids but since I'm really pale the maroon shade kind of looks peach colored

so it's really interesting how difference

um I shadows look different on different skintone colors I've noticed that the

color on my skin just looks so different from what it looks like in the palette

so it's kind of just like a mystery every single time I get it on there and

I use my fingers sometimes to blend it out it's a really thick foundation

that's why I'm using my fingers and then I'm gonna probably take a brush soon

enough because we're gonna try to keep a professional up in here and with a doll

makeup look it's really important to emphasize the eyes because dolls have

huge eyes and so we're gonna try and make our eyes look really big so to do

this we put eyeshadow underneath the eyes to really make them pop and usually

you want to pick a color that is a contrast color to your own eye so my

eyes are blue the contrast color for blue is red so if you are brown you want

to pick blue if you have green eyes I would say you want to pick god I'm not

sure the contrast color for green eyes but you kind of get the drift and then

you want to make sure it's blended out you don't want like a harsh line

underneath because you don't want to look scary so I'm just taking this tiny

little brush that I got in my benefit cosmetics brow palette it works really

well to blend underneath the eye any type of eyeshadow and then I'm taking

like a darker color and sorry for the fact that it is not visible in the video

but I take this darker color and kind of put it on the lid just to also make the

eyelid pop a little bit more and it's really nice because like this is also a

really good contrast color for my eyes so my eyes are just gonna look huge and

that's what we're going for because this is the dahle makeup look don't make up

tutorial video so the goal is to look like a doll sorry it just like keeps

getting blurry I definitely like went out of focus a

little bit throughout this tutorial but eventually it gets back in focus so

don't worry so yeah basically that's all we're doing it's so simple that's why I

love this look because it's just like this most simple makeup look but it like

is amazing at the end it looks like you tried really hard but you really didn't

do crazy makeup technique I'm just using the Revlon mascara here from the

drugstore and we're gonna use that as the mascara so usually if you have long

lashes it's fine to just use regular mascara if you want to do fake eyelashes

for a more dramatic look you can I'm okay with a natural length of my lashes

I feel like they're pretty long in there okay oh you'll notice that I

definitely get mascara on my wig it's so funny I just like have a really hard

time putting it on and then it just like plops a big chunk on my wig oh it's so

cray just wait for it it happens and then I'm like sad and then I try and get

it off but you know it happens no one's perfect

and we all make mistakes and I'm not perfect as long as the makeup in the end

looks perfect it doesn't matter how you got there up there it is

and then I freaked out a little trying it it off but then I move on you're just

gonna move on when life hands you a shit hand you gotta take it deal with it and

move on oh yeah I'm gonna cover my face again with the makeup palette that's

super helpful for people who want to know what I'm doing

although I'll tell you I'm just putting on my mascara so you're not missing much

and then trying to get off some of the mascara and you could see my hair

underneath so professional but here's a trick I just took it with a bobby pin

and just stuck it up there so it enough to see it I was pretty satisfied with

this little trick and then I move on to my lips with the dollops you want to

probably go for a red Carli Jenner makes a good red kind of reddish lip kit and

it stays on really well so we're gonna use that and I don't line my lips

because I just feel like it's not necessary and I really big lips so I

don't want it to look like pornstar lips I just want to keep it well they look

really big so what can I do plop that sucker on make it look as

natural as possible look I look like a doll already we're almost done

look how fast that did look how fast that did so fast okay

so we're pretty much done and yeah pose try and see if you look like a doll

maybe fix your wig if you can see your brown hair underneath like in my case or

just rock it either way I mean I'm gonna rock it I don't care no shame in my game

Republicans Return From Vacation To Problems They Can't Possibly Handle - Duration: 3:55.

Most Americans today are probably feeling a little sluggish getting back to work after

a three-day weekend but just imagine how it would feel getting back to work after a month-long

weekend because that is what's happening right now with the House of Representatives and

the U.S. Senate.

Today is their first day back at work following their month-long August recess where some

of them just completely disappeared from the limelight altogether.

Some of them held Town Halls.

Some of them went and helped with Hurricane Harvey but everybody's back at work today

and they have a hell of an agenda that there is no possible way they can actually tackle.

Here's a few of the things that the Republican-led House of Representatives and the Senate have

to deal with now that they are back in washington, D.C.

first and foremost one of the most important things is they have to get Hurricane Harvey

relief packages passed and while you're at it, you may as well go ahead and throw in

some relief packages for Hurricane Irma which is right around the corner headed towards

Florida at the moment.

Furthermore, you've got to get some kind of budget passed so that we avoid a government

shutdown.

A government shutdown at this point, which unfortunately is looming because there doesn't

seem to be any kind of clear reconciliation in the budget in the House of Representatives,

could cost the U.S. economy hundreds of millions if not billions of dollars depending on how

long such shutdown actually lasts.

So we're looking at catastrophic economic impacts if these Republicans can't get their

act together and pass a budget.

Trump himself has said he will not sign a budget if it does not include funding for

the border wall.

So, so far, the Republican's plan has been to cut money from agencies like FEMA who's

currently working overtime in Texas and will be doing the same thing probably in Florida

or wherever else Hurricane Irma hits.

They want to cut half a billion dollars from that and give it to Donald Trump for his wall.

Congress can't do this, especially not at this point, and furthermore the Republicans

have proven time and time again so far this year, that they can't even work with one another

to get anything passed.

Want an example?

How about the health care bill that had to go through constant revisions because different

factions within the Republican party were fighting with one another over who could make

the bill more cruel.

The bottom line is this.

The Republicans in D.C. right now have a hell of a lot of work to do just to keep this country

going, not even trying to enact their Republican agenda but just to keep things functioning.

I do not trust them.

Polls show the public does not trust them enough to actually get their jobs done.

Because beyond all the partisan fighting in this country, there are some times when Congress

has really non-partisan, normal everyday keep-the-government functioning work that they have to do.

So far the Republicans have been so poor at leadership that they can't even accomplish

that.

they can't work with one another and they can't work with their sociopathic president.

suicide note and Heather's in the music video did not even really seem to be

affected by the fact that they kind of accidentally killed her she was more so

like on how they make her the idea of her scene when people read this letter

which shows the vanity of that character where she's just she's not like oh my

goodness you killed me I'm dead now it's worth so this letter you wrote about my

suicide it makes me look like a straight-up dumb blood like nobody's

gonna believe this this is not a great letter that's what she was focused on so

really shows the vanity of a character when all they care about is not the fact

that you had killed me it's like how do you make me sound to the people that

read this letter and then when what Veronica says the teacher really blasts

up which people I found are always weird to me because it's one thing to want

people to express how they feel but when you get like excited and like revved up

about it where you're like hey we're gonna do this and this is what we're

gonna do I kind of feel less likely to open up

because I feel like there's something else going on there with you something

else is happening and that teacher that's a multiple nowhere and everybody

it kind of was this like aha moment for everybody was like oh she wasn't a bad

person it was just that life was just so hard for her for being as popular as she

was so that's why she was mean she wasn't really mean because she was a

mean horrible person that's pain no it's because she cares that's why she was

mean and Heather liked it and loved the fact that she looked so good but she's

dead people so confusing but yes let me know your thoughts down below in the

— That's a hard one too.

But I could try.

— In "Everything," the player can be anything.

If you see a tree, you can become it.

If you see a rock, you can be that.

You play the game by being.

— Mostly, it's bringing you back to a version of Earth,

and it's showing, hopefully, Earth to be the most interesting planet,

and, out of all of Earth, that creatures are the most interesting thing,

and we're the most interesting creature that could exist.

And at the same time, you're completely insignificant,

or let's say, as significant as everything else in the world.

— "Everything" also has a narrator:

— When you came into this world,

talks to the player at various points in the game:

you have this deep respect for for him.

You know, I really worked hard to do justice to—

I hope to do justice to to what his material is.

— Sometimes it kinda feels like the game is almost a vehicle for for Alan Watts's philosophy.

— Yes, yeah.

It's the biggest use of Allan Watts material that's ever existed.

I think that's—and that's cool.

Like, he was a philosopher, who was just incredibly wise.

And you hear that in the game:

— What is in other words conflict at one level of magnification,

is harmony at a higher level.

— And sometimes, it's really uncanny.

He talks about everything a lot— which is to say, not the game,

but the totality of existence, or the universe, let's say, or nature.

— "Everything" might look like a relaxing game,

but it actually goes to some pretty dark places.

— "Being" is simply a sudden experience,

which was nothing before it started,

and will be nothing after it's over.

— And it takes the game from feeling like a weird acid trip,

into something that's a lot deeper, and just… real.

— What do you want players to get out of this game?

— It is trying to get at this impossible thing,

which is an objective perspective.

If you do want to argue or make a point,

the best place to do that from is from understanding the other's point of view.

And maybe even understanding it better than they do.

— David wants players to feel like they're moving through their own documentary about the nature of existence.

But what you get out of that documentary depends on how you play it.

— To quote Alan Watts in a more concise way is that,

difference, and the interplay of difference, is the way through which unity is observed.

So what you are is changing all of the time.

But what it's doing is always the same.

Sonic Robo Blast 2 intro [Sonic Doom] - Duration: 5:18.

Two months had passed since Dr. Eggman tried to take over the world

using his ting satellite.

As it was about to drain the rings away from the planet, Sonic burst

into the sateelite and for what he though would be the last time,

defeated Dr. Eggman.

What Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles had not anticipated was that Eggman would

return, bringing an all new threat.

About once every year, a strange asteroid hovers around the planet.

It suddenly appears from nowhere, clircles around, and - just as

mysteriously as it arrives - vanishes after two months. No one

why it appears, or how. "Curses!", Eggman Yelled. "That Hedgehog and his

ridiculous friends will pay dearly for this!"

Just then his scanner blipped as the black rock made its appearance

from nowhere, Eggman looked at the screen, and just shrugged

energy within it... If I can somehow harness this, I can turn it into the

a blur as he ran around loops, skimmed over water, and catapulted

himseld off rocks with his phenomenal speed.

"6... 5... 4... "Sonic knew he was getting closer to the city, and pushed himself

harder. Finally, the city appeared in the horizon. "3... 2...

Greenflower city was gone. Sonic arrived just in time to see what

little of the 'ruins' were left. Everyone and everything in the city

had been obliterated.

"You're not quite as dead as we though, huh? Are you going to tell us your

plan as usual or will I 'have to work it out' or something?

Eggman took as his cue as blasted off, leaving Sonic and Tails behind.

Tails looked at the ruins of the Greenflower City with a grim face
