Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain admits lure of Jurgen Klopp was "instrumental" in sealing transfer from Arsenal

Liverpool's latest addition to the squad has cited manager Jurgen Klopp as a big factor for joining and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is raring to go.

A big-money transfer coming in from one of the Reds' main Premier League rivals hasn't happened too often over the last few years, so Oxlade-Chamberlain has already bucked the trend in that regard.

Having been away on international duty at the time of his transfer, the versatile midfielder has only gotten to work at Melwood from Wednesday.

Speaking to the official club website, he quickly pointed out that working with Klopp was one of the biggest reasons for joining Liverpool.

"Even as a neutral watching him last season, you [could see] he's a really interesting character and someone that seems very inspiring for people that aren't even involved in the club.

"Watching him, [you see] his passion and how much he cares about the game. "The thing that stood out for me was his relationship with the players, how close he seems to bond with the players on and off the field.

That's massive and it's definitely a big plus when you're looking to progress, having that relationship with the manager, that definitely helps.".

Klopp has always been open about his relationship with the players—hugs on the pitch at full-time, full of praise for them in interviews—but his approach comes with substance.

At the start of this term and for large portions of last season, the Reds have been one of the best sides to watch in England with their offensive-minded football taking the league by storm. Oxlade-Chamberlain has been suitably impressed.

"Obviously the way his teams play, that's definitely inspirational for me and was one of the instrumental [reasons]—if not the main reason—that I felt this place was definitely the place for me.

"He's definitely a manager that's very animated on the side and you sort of feel like you get to know him without even knowing him when you listen to him in his press conferences, and then the insights I've had from the boys on him.

"First of all, what he's achieved, you respect that straight away and how much he knows about the game, and then all his extra attributes: his relationships with the players and how he pushes you, encourages you and what he demands from you, that's like a bonus.

"That's what makes him special in my eyes. Oxlade-Chamberlain arrives at the club not as a finished product, but as a player with a lot of growth still left in him.

He firmly believes Klopp is the man to help him develop further, as the manager has done with others since arriving at Anfield.

"That [track record is] one of the reasons why I felt like he was the man I'd want to come and play for because I feel like he could really push me and hopefully get the best out of me and take me to the next level, for sure.

With a tough start to life at Anfield ahead of him given upcoming matches against Manchester City and Sevilla, Oxlade-Chamberlain should be involved to some extent in the near future.

The quicker he adapts to the team requirements in a tactical sense the better, and there's little doubt in the player's own mind that he has the right manager to help him do so.

How Liverpool's summer recruitment may have identified—and solved—their "big chance" creation problems

Andrew Beasley delves into the statistics behind the transfers to explain why Liverpool may have been so keen on the players signed this summer.

Liverpool had a good season last year, but it could've been even better. Despite a remarkably good record against the other members of the big six, at times they struggled to break down some of the lesser sides.

Opta classify the very best goal scoring opportunities as 'big' chances. They are also referred to in some places as 'clear-cut' chances.

Either way, they are defined as "a situation where a player should reasonably be expected to score, usually in a one-on-one scenario or from very close range".  16/17 and plenty to work on.

The sad truth is Liverpool didn't have enough of these opportunities in 2016-17. The Reds failed to have a big chance in seven league matches last term, and that was the case in three of their six defeats.

Burnley, Hull and Leicester all stopped Liverpool from having a top-quality scoring opportunity on their way to claiming three points. In total, Jurgen Klopp's team had 73 big chances last season—the fourth highest in the Premier League.

When you look at how many such chances were actually created by Liverpool (as in, via one player passing to another, and not generated through penalties or fortuitous rebounds) then the picture isn't as pretty.

Liverpool directly created 50 big chances last season. That was (whisper it) one fewer than Everton, and only four more than Stoke City.

Excluding penalties, the Reds created 77% of their big chances last season. The league average was 80%, which suggests Liverpool were perhaps a touch fortunate to have as many top-quality chances as they did. So what have they done about it?.

My research suggests they targeted players who had a pedigree when it comes to creating these golden opportunities.

Using data from the SofaScore app, I have been able to determine how often Liverpool's players and their transfer targets created a big chance in the league last season.

The following table shows the players sorted by how often they did just that. The new players and transfer targets are highlighted.

Even by simply looking at the raw figures you can see no Liverpool player created more big chances than Naby Keita, Thomas Lemar or Mohamed Salah last season. Factor in the minutes played, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also tops any member of the Reds' 2016/17 squad.

Andrew Robertson may have only created one last season, but it was always going to be tough to fashion top quality chances whilst playing for Hull City.

The young Scot created two in his one Liverpool match so far, so he will likely match James Milner's 2016/17 output of five from left-back at the very least.

After the first three games in the Premier League this season, only Henrikh Mkhitaryan has created more big chances than Robertson. He was on Liverpool's radar once too, as I'm sure you recall.  17/18 and plenty to look forward to.

It's obviously unrealistic to expect all of the targets to replicate their creativity level when playing in the same side, as there are only so many decent chances to go round.

That said, Liverpool logged six big chances against both Hoffenheim and Arsenalrecently. For context, the Reds didn't do that once in the league in 16/17, and the very best teams only average around three big chances per game.

Maybe the new-look Liverpool will set records on the big chance front?.

It's too soon to make such wild claims, of course, but as the only new boy to play for the club so far, Mohamed Salah has made an immediate impact with regards to top quality chances.

He has created three directly, been the shooter for six, and also won a penalty at Vicarage Road.

To be involved in nine (excluding the spot kick) in under five games of pitch time is remarkable.

Roberto Firmino topped the chart for Liverpool in the league last season, and he was involved in 24 in total; Salah is a third of the way there already, and Firmino himself has shot or created ten already.

Indeed, they've linked up as a duo to create three big chances, plus the penalty against Watford (which was won after Firmino played in Salah to draw the foul).  Don't look back in anger.

At this point, I can hear the cynical amongst you recalling the Damien Comolli era.

The former Liverpool director of football oversaw the signings of Stewart Downing, Charlie Adam and Jordan Henderson in the summer of 2011. All three were in the Premier League's top 12 players for total chances created in 10/11.

None of them had a successful first season at Liverpool though, and Comolli was let go before 11/12 had even drawn to a close.

The evidence suggests the Frenchman may have focused on chance volume rather than chance quality. The table below shows the players Liverpool targeted and/or bought in the summers of 2011 and 2017.

As above, they are sorted by the frequency with which they created big chances.

The 2011 trio created a chance every 40 minutes between them, compared to every 42 for the quartet of 2017. But 23% of their chances were classed as big, whereas that was only the case for 16% of Comolli's group.

For context, around 11% of chances created in the Premier League are classified as big chances. And besides, for all his flaws, Downing did come to Liverpool and create a decent amount of big chances.

He created 11 in 2011/12, which was at least four more than any other player that season—yes, even Luis Suarez!.

The first table above shows that no Red created more than 11 last season either. Perhaps the logic in signing him had some merit, even if Liverpool's dreadful finishing that year left Downing without an assist.

This article is just a piece of speculation on my part. Clearly when recruiting players, the powers at be at any club have to look into far more than how often they create top quality scoring opportunities.

But it does seem fair to say Liverpool had a slight issue with generating big chances last season, and they have targeted players who, among their other skills, did well on this front.

Having doubled their rate of creating big chances per league game since last season (from 1. 7), the very early signs are that the Reds might have solved an important issue.

ALERT: "Mad Dog" Mattis Destroys Obama | Top Stories Today - Duration: 3:35.

How our previous administrations handled the Afghanistan situation has been, without a

doubt, one of the biggest debacles in our nation's history.

However, according to some top military experts, the blame rests solely on a few specific individuals.

Secretary of Defense James "Mad Dog" Mattis has gone on record to say that the reason

why Afghanistan is as much of a mess as it is can be attributed to one man – Barack

Obama.

The previous president's actions in handling the situation have only "emboldened" the

Taliban, according to Newsmax.

In a testimony before a Senate subcommittee, Mattis said that Obama's mistake – pulling

our forces out of Afghanistan – was "misguided," and only resulted in the emboldenment of Islamic

extremists across the world.

"I believe that we pulled out forces at a time, as you know, when the violence was

lower, but we pulled them out on a timeline rather than consistent with the maturation

of the government and the security forces," he said.

"The result was that as security declined, all the other stresses have come to bear,

to include heavy casualties on the part of the Afghan forces, other nations pulled their

troops out as well, and the Taliban was emboldened," he continued.

The Secretary of Defence would elaborate further, noting that Obama's decision to end all

operations at 2014 was right when the military needed the freedom to operate the most.

This decision to pull out was less about doing the right thing strategically as it was about

fulfilling a political promise Obama made – operational consequences be damned.

Mattis said that, "At one point, when we reduced our forces there, I believe in what

was probably in hindsight a misguided application of our forces, we restricted them from using

our air support… that meant in the mountain country these troops were often fighting at

a disadvantage."

The former general even admitted that the US is "not winning in Afghanistan," and

that we were fighting at a "stalemate."

These revelations are a disappointing display of incompetence.

Letting political decisions supercede military common sense – something that surely has

cost many lives already – is unacceptable.

Thankfully, the current administration doesn't see things that way, and is more than willing

to give the military whatever discretion is necessary to make the best decisions in war.

"Mad Dog" Mattis says Afghanistan is a mess because Obama's actions "emboldened"

the Taliban.

For instance, a couple of months ago, James Mattis announced that the US was switching

its military strategy against ISIS from "attrition tactics" to outright "annihilation,"

stopping them in their tracks once and for all.

Ever since that announcement, ISIS has been steadily losing ground – something that

the Obama administration couldn't do at all for years, ever since ISIS became a threat

to global peace.

The moral of the story here is that in some administrations, such as the previous one,

politically-motivated decision making is the most important thing, regardless of what the

ramifications are on the geopolitical scale, or how many lives are lost.

Obama's decision to pull our troops out was a campaign promise he made years ago,

and rather than admit that it was the wrong decision, he chose to move forward anyway.

Considering all the dangers that are pressing against this nation, we can be thankful that

the current administration doesn't operate that way.

Add sugar and our Kahwah will be ready

Now add milk in it

And cook for 3-4 more minutes

Until you'll get beautiful color

JOSE MOURINHO still has doubts over Henrikh Mkhitaryans ability to perform against the biggest clubs, according to reports. The Armenian winger initially struggled to adapt to the demands of the Premier League following his arrival from Borussia Dortmund last summer.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been tasked with improving his performances against the big sides.

Jose Mourinho has made it clear what he expects of his winger.

But a fine start to this campaign has seen him create five goals in three games and propel United to the top of the Premier League with a hat-trick of wins.

But it is in crunch fixtures against the biggest sides that Mourinho still harbours doubts about the attackers stomach and capabilities. According to ESPN FC, Mourinho was disappointed with how Mkhitaryan fared against the big four last season.

He scored just once in that sequence of games last term, grabbing the winner against Spurs at Old Trafford. Uniteds first fixture against a genuine title rival comes against Liverpool on October 14.

It is thought that Mourinhos plan is to give Mkhitaryan an extended run in the starting XI to boost his confidence before then.

  Marcus Rashford comes on for Manchester United and scores against Leicester. Henrikh Mkhitaryan knows his role in the side is to create chances.

The Armenians first chance to impress his boss comes against Liverpool on October 14. Mkhitaryan did perform well in the Europa League last season.

He bagged the second in the 2-0 final win over Ajax that got United into the Champions League. And he does seem aware of his responsibilities for 2017/18.

Mkhitaryan said during Uniteds tour of the US that his job is to set up Romelu Lukaku. And he has obliged with two assists for the Belgian so far this campaign.

That's the view of Reds hero John Aldridge.

Barca had three bids rejected for the Brazil international this summer, with Liverpool refusing to sell their key man. Coutinho, 25, handed in a transfer request in hope of forcing a move but the Reds held firm.

The playmaker is expected to return to Jurgen Klopp's squad this weekend for Liverpool's trip to Manchester City. However, Aldridge says Coutinho will be heading to the Nou Camp at the end of the season.

Make no mistake, Coutinho will come back [to play for Liverpool]," Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo. Hes a lovely fella, hes a good family man, and Barcelona turned his head.

Let's start

Add water in pan

First, we'll make Kahwah for it

Then we'll add milk in it

Add ginger

Green Cardamom

Add Cinnamon stick and wait until simmer

This makes with different ways but try this one

Once it's simmer

Then add Loose/ Black Tea

We'll prepare Kahwah

It will take 3-4 minutes

Add sugar and our Kahwah will be ready

Now add milk in it

And cook for 3-4 more minutes

Until you'll get beautiful color

last time I made this the iPad had a white screen and you cant see anything but this time it is dark and you can see better

and we will make a fast gameplay today with this awesome game, I want to recommend it to you with the Thor

who is on the chair right now and for sure he will step on the iPad

I hope the bell is yellow right now because last time was green (colorblind) and someone told me Red with Green was yellow

but is was green so it was wrong, so this time, I hope this is yellow!

Here is the elements, I need to make a combination with them to create a spell

I can choose a combination and I can change the element only tappin on them

we have five elements, I can change them pressing again

you can see the five combinations and I need to discover the right one

So now you can get a Nex Band to help you! If you don't know what is a Nex Band,

you can watch this video now, it is on your screen now and

this is a awesome Smart Band who can help you with this elements

you can Play with it and use the elements on there,

the Smart Band will save your combination and help you know the right combination

you can also make elements outside the classroom with the Nex Band and you will not forget the right combination anymore

No one of this was the right one, let's try again

I will choose the same a lot of times and them change again if this is wrong

no one again, so sad! Isn't the first or the second!

Here the first and the last one was right, so I need to memorize it

The game show a "V" mark under the element so I need to imput again the right one

I think I remember what I Used and, as I talked, if you have a Nex Band it will be so easier and more fun for sure!

So here is a new puzzle, we need to make the lock here, with the parts we get

this one is so different from the other one and, if you like Puzzle games, this one will have a lot of challenges for you!
