SpaceX launches Air Force's Super-Secret Shuttle just before Hurricane Irma Reaches Florida (OTV-5) - Duration: 3:48.

Yesterday, SpaceX launched the Falcon 9 rocket while Hurricane Irma is heading course to

land.

This in cooperation with the United States Air Force.

The Rocket had to carry the mysterious vehicle the X-37B.

And the X-37B is going to a higher inclination orbit than usual — or a much more tilted

orbit in relation to the equator.

But ultimately, the X-37B's main mission is classified and kept secret."

About the launch, the Falcon 9 was launched without technical difficulties.

The maximum reached speed was 5,974 km / h.

That is 1.44 times faster than the one of the fastest airplane in the world.

The Lockheed YF-12 , which can reach a max. speed of Mach 3.35, which is 4.136 km / h.

The Falcon 9 carried out a successful landing.

What is MAX-Q?

In SpaceX's launch video, you'll see a window on the screen with a warning for "MAX-Q" or

And at the top of this curve is Max Q, the moment of maximum stress on the spacecraft.

Engineers design their craft to be able to withstand only a certain amount of dynamic

pressure, just as your hand can only stand so much pressure before it snaps back, so

it's very important that the rocket never exceed the Max Q it was designed for.

If it did, the airframe would buckle and the rocket would break apart, likely disintegrate

or blowing up.

Hugo's story: acute lymphoblastic leukaemia - Duration: 3:03.

I heard those words, that they suspected that it was leukaemia

and the tears came and I was trying to stop them

but I think for the rest of us the mental side has been quite difficult.

You try not to to let it affect your whole life

because it's a three year treatment plan - you can't spend every day worrying

or let it affect your whole life but on the other hand that worry and that fear

of the unknown, of what what might happen - it's there all the time.

It's really difficult for Hugo's older brother to fully understand quite how

poorly his brother is - but it also makes it difficult for him to understand why

there's so much attention and focus on Hugo.

The steroids that he takes as part of his treatment have caused

the muscles in his legs to weaken.

They've now weakened to such an extent that Hugo can't walk at the moment.

After having dealt with the blow of leukaemia it now feels

almost like we're having to get our heads round having a disabled child.

So our life is having to sort of adapt all over again.

The donations go to research that is, has and continues to make a difference.

The idea that, in years to come, that not only will we be able

to cure children with leukaemia, but in a kinder way as well.

So that children aren't having to live with

potentially lifelong side effects,

that children aren't having to spend months in a wheelchair.

That would just be amazing.

EXO THEORIES: The beginning - Duration: 10:45.

Lately we've received many questions about EXO Theories serie

I bet you expected Ko ko bop theory but it's impossible to analyse Ko ko bop without analysing the rest of EXO videos

Let's start!

EXO sticks to one concept since predebut

It's superpowers concept

This is why I have to explain everything since the very beginning

EXO name comes from exoplanet,

a planet outside of our solar system that orbits a star

12 creatures came from exoplanet and each of them has a superpower and a symbol

The group is divided into EXO-K and EXO-M

And these are EXO-K's superpowers:

Kai - teleportation

Chanyeol - fire

Suho - water

Baekhyun - light

Sehun - wind

D.O - ground, lately also known as force

EXO-M looks like this:

Chen - lightinings

Lay - healing

Xiumin - frost

Kris - flying

Tao - time control

Luhan - telekinesis

It is known that EXO lost their memory after landing on Earth

They think they're normal people

It means that they also don't remember about their powers

Even since predebut, the member who appeared the most often in teasers was Kai

If we look deeper into it, we will understand why

'KAI' means 'open' in Chinese and it refers to a key in What is Love MV

When it comes to EXO, it will also mean awakening because of two things:

First of all, even though EXO lives on one planet, they don't know about their coexistence

Kai is a member who awakens the rest of them

He awakens their awareness about the rest of them

Second of all, after landing on Earth, EXO doesn't remember who they are and they also don't remember that they have any kind of powers

EXO recently said that Ko ko bop is a MV that shows what happened after coming to Earth

We know that Kai was also quite important in this MV but I will tell you more about it in a different video

We can find a proof for that in EXO teasers and SM released 23 of them

Some of them show only dance and EXO's talent and skills

But some of them refers to superpower concept

The 8th teaser, Black Pearl, was the first one that showed any connection to exoplanet

Even the title is meaningful

Black pearls are rare and exotic stones

They were worn by monarchy and elites

Now they're called Queen pearls

If you want to understand why it is important for EXO theories, I have to mention a really popular motive that appeared ealier and we still see it nowadays

Of course, I'm talking about the eclipse and its meaning

It occurs when an astronomical object is temporarily obscured, either by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body pass between it and the viewer

For us, the most frequent event is a solar eclipse or lunar eclipse

In the past, Korean people believed that a King is a Sun and a Queen is a Moon

This belief comes from Irworobongdo which is a painting that shows the moon, the sun and five peaks

The sun and the moon symbolize the king and the queen

Five peaks symbolize mythical place

It's also a reference to Yin Yang

Yin symbolize the sun

and Yang symbolizes the moon

Let's come back to history for a moment,

The sun and the moon shouldn't be next to each other,

this is why the King and the Queen had seperate places

An eclipse was a moment when the King and the Queen could finally be together

But what does it have to do with EXO?

In MAMA MV we see a phoenix and a dragon

Each of the symbols refers to one part of the group

Kris' symbol is a dragon and this is why it's also a symbol of EXO-M

In the past, Chinese people believed that the King is a dragon and it was a sacred creature

So EXO-M is a King

A phoenix is the Queen's symbol

Korean hanboks often have a phoenix motive

A phoenix can change into a human being and it has healing powers

Phoenix is EXO-K's symbol so EXO-K is a queen

As I already mentioned, an eclipse appeared often in teasers

In 8th one - Black Pearl

9th - Into Your World

11th - Let Out The Beast

15th - Metal

16th - Reflection I

17th - Into Your World

19th - Beautiful

20th - El Dorado

To sum up, an eclipse symbolize the unity of sun and moon

but also a moment when the king and the queen, in this case EXO-M and EXO-K, becomes one

and we know perfectly EXO's motto:

1, 2, 3 WE ARE ONE! We are EXO!

You have to admit that everything becomes clearer suddenly

so we can move on

Especially because those meaningful teasers appear in What Is Love

Besides 23 teasers, SM released 2 prologue singles

In fact, 4 singles because they were released as EXO-K and EXO-M so in both languages - Korean and Mandarin

We can see all the teasers that refers to EXO's superpowers

We also see how the members find out about each other

Besides the teasers that show EXO's alterity,

also dance teasers were put into What Is Love MV

We should ask why the teasers were published seperately then?

The answer is quite easy,

Putting them altogether makes it much more easier to understand

and it also shows the viewers the right point of view

One of the most important moments in this MV is a scene in which Chanyeol finds all the symbols

Each member has his own symbol and SM stuck into them for a really long time and it still does

EXO members are seperated,

they don't know about each other but they know that something is about to happen and this is why they're looking for something

Kris is the only member who seems to know about his superpower

Of course, the most important thing in this MV is an eclipse

All the members pay attention to it and look at it

They slowly start to understand what is happening

King and queen become one, EXO-K and EXO-M become one - they become EXO

This is why at the end of this MV we see a scene of an eclipse and all the members appear slowly on Earth

The 2nd prologue seems more symbolic

But it's also important because at the very beginning, we see a celestial object in a space

and we find out that it's an exoplanet which EXO comes from

The whole plot happens on this planet

First prologue was a teaser for superpowers concept

The second one shows their dancing skills

Because this MV is just a choreography on exoplanet

If we know the basics, we can move to EXO's debut - MAMA

MAMA means Your Majesty in Korean

Korean people called the queen MAMA

So after knowing what the title means, we can refer it once again to monarchy and the meaning of sun and moon

The MV starts with a story about 2 worlds and how EXO was made:

The most important part of this story is a moment where we find out about two suns that look alike and two worlds that seem alike

12 forces will nurture the tree of life

We can see it in Wolf MV

MAMA is about superpowers and Kai is again the most important member

he is a key to set the rest of the members free

Since the beginning, Kai is using his power which is teleportation

He appears next to each member and awakens them

We have a proof for that in the following scenes: we see how the powers start to work

Of course, the power scenes are mixed with dancing scenes

Again, they're dancing on exoplanet

After awakening the rest of the members, we notice that EXO was divided into pairs

After D.O hitting the ground, we see a lightning on the sky which is Chen's power

He made is by touching the ground

At the end we see two of them and they seem like two worlds that look alike

Chanyeol-Kris pair is showed in a similar way

Chanyeol creates a fire and Kris catches it

At the end we see how their worlds are linked by the fire and a dragon

Sehun lets out a butterfly which is later caught by Tao

Suho creates water and shoots it into the mirror

His reflection changes into Xiumin

Baekhyun-Lay pair is showed in a similar way as well

Baekhyun shoots a light into the mirror and we see Lay as a reflection

And he heals a flower

Kai goes to Luhan

Maybe it doesn't look like the rest of the pairs but they are set as a pair

MAMA is an MV which finally shows EXO powers

The moment when the powers are awaken

We can also notice that EXO has the power together and the members are connected to each other

Lay's healing power refers to the tree of life

Even though all the powers are different,

each of them is important

Kai is EXO-K's center

he awakens the rest of the members

He travels between worlds

Luhan is EXO-M's center

He monitors everything in the balls

This is the way how EXO slowly becomes One

A king and a queen become one

Sun and moon become one

and EXO becomes ONE

Hi guys, I am Adrien and what you just watched is a decomposition of the major scale of G

And that's what I'll teach you today, the major scale on which I constructed this decomposition.

The major scale is what you will need to play makossa, bikutsi, ndombolo, Ghanaian and Nigerian highlife,

That's the foundation of improvisation in african music as well as western music even.

Like i said in the previous video (#5) there are 3 basic positions of major chords

This position formed from E, this other formed from C and this position formed from A

I will use these positions as introduction to the major scale

I improvised in the beginnig with my fingers all over the fret board but the basis of it all was these 3 positions

It's easier for you to understant major scales in relation to these positions because rythmic and solo-african genres are closely related to chords

So you'll notice it if someone does a congolese seben

You'll notice the combination

This is a solo by Aimé Nkanu. I cannot remember the title of the song but it's a very pretty solo I learnt a long time ago

If you break this down, I am on the major scale but I linked my solo with chords like this chord which we saw last time

This one as well

As well as this one

This is very typical of african solo

The solo is always linked to bared chords

So with these 3 positions, we will start with this

I only strike 6 notes but the major scale is inside this chords.

As you know it, the C major scale is C-D-E-F-G-A.B-C

If I move up to the 8th fret in this position, I will have a C

I'm in the position of E, which means the bared C chored in the position of E

With position, the first note which is the tonic, is here

I will advice you start with the middle finger

That's already a circle or an octave from "c" to "c" and it continous till the first string

Let's do it again!

Reverse it!

You are supposed to retain this by-heart because when you'll be on this chord and will want to improvise,

You'll find yourself improvising

Around the chord

I'll redo it

That applies for all frets in this position

On the F you do this

Another thing worthy of note is, I'm playing with a pick

And what I'm doing is

It's a down, up, down, up, down, up as we saw on the chromatic scale (1st Lesson)

For this position,

We will start on the 2nd string because the tonic is here

This is the D chord

I will play...

I just played an octave from "c" to "c" without touching neither the 1st nor 6th string

It's in effect possible to continue on our progression and stop on the "e" note

We play from "e" to "g"

I have struck all the notes related to this position

This is something you need to work upon

You won't be as fast as me in the beginning, it will be complicated because you'll have to pay attention to finger position, notes, right hand movements

It's no problem if it's complicated in the beginning, just learn a little bit more.

This is the 3rd position, as seen previously

This is my less loved position because I have the impression of not having full control on the notes of the chords

The tonic is found here on the "a" and "g" string

The notes are on the C chord

It continous while the B chord, played thus...

If we continue we'll see we are already out of position

What we did today is a vertical breakdown of the major scale from top to bottom without moving along the neck

We made a vertical progression and that's the objective of today's lesson, knowing the notes of a chord on the major scale related to the basic barré position

But to improvise, you'll need to move along the neck of the guitar, and you will need to find ways to connect chords together.

Woodturning Old Fashioned Desk Pen Set - Duration: 7:51.

Hi, Alan Stratton, from As Wood Turns (www.AsWoodTurns.com) In this video, I'm going to take a little

nostalgia trip. Back in the day before I had this nice lathe, I still had a lathe but not

quite so good. And, I still turned the best I could. I had a lot of family concerns and

a limited budget. We did not use pen kits at that time. We used plastic pens that we

could pull the filler out of and then incorporate into our own desk pen sets. I'm not even

sure pen kits existed at that time. Anyway, this is a nice desk pen. Let's make

it today. Meanwhile, don't forget the Christmas Ornament

Challenge coming up. Af For the pen base, I've selected a small

piece of maple with burl figure. The wood is small with nothing to spare for a tenon.

I turned a piece of pine with a long tenon. Then glued the maple to the pine with white

glue in case any would show. The glue is now dry but I still want tail stock support but

I've cushioned the live center with a rubber stopper.

I'm turning the upper surface into an ogee shape, removing enough wood to remove all

voids and irregularities. I'm using a gouge. I'm also undercutting the base just a little

with a parting tool. Then sand and finish with lacquer.

Now I need that long tenon I cut on the pine. I want the pen to mount at a slant. So, I'm

loosening the chuck jaws and tipping the pine tenon as much as I dare. Then drill a 3/8"

hole into the base to serve as a mortise. Then return the wood mount to its original

position to part off the base from the pine. While parting it, I'm trying to cut a hollow

into the underside. I'll clean up the base at the drill press.

Now for the pen. I'm using a standard pen blank although I would prefer something a

little longer to give me more room for a tenon for mounting. The biggest risk from past pens

is drilling a hole this diameter and this deep without it wander out the side. A drill

press is risky. A better bet is to drill it on the lathe. Even then, a long thin bit can

wander off from center. I'll do as much as I can to keep it centered. First, the pen

blank is straight grain of unknown tropical species. Second, I'm mounting it as deeply

as I can in long nose jaws. Third, I'm starting the hole with a short bit chucked as deep

into its chuck as possible; Fourth, I'm starting very slowly and drilling only about

one quarter inch before backing off to clear chips. Fifth, once, I've drilled as deep

as I can with the short bit, I'm switching to the long bit – long enough to complete

the hole. With that done, I can switch to a larger diameter bit to accommodate the pen

shank. With the drilling completed, I can turn the

actual pen. There is barely enough wood to hold onto but once the other end is centered

into a cone live center, I can cinch it down on the last half inch of the pen blank. I'll

rough it down with a spindle gouge then switch to a sharp skew. I don't like a lot of fancy

work where my fingers go on a pen. So, my design is simplistic yet elegant.

After shaping, I sanded up thru 400 grit before applying lacquer. Then I sanded the dry lacquer

with 600 grit and applied more lacquer for a total of 4 coats.

I parted off the pen. Now how to reverse it? Hmmm. I put the drill chuck into the spindle

with the long drill bit I used to drill the hole. As long as I kept pressure on the chuck

and the pen, I managed to sand the freshly parted end of the pen and apply more lacquer

to it. Whew, that was close. Next best would have been padding the pen in the long nose

jaws. Now for a little piece to put the pen in that

is mounted to be base. I don't have enough wood from the pen blank so I'll use a piece

of scrap walnut. My first job is to cut a 3/8" tenon on the end to attach it to the

base. Here's where my customized end wrenches can work for me. After rough rounding with

a gouge, I grabbed the wrench one size bigger than the 3/8" target. The bigger wrenches

are easier to hold and cut better. Then switch to the 3/8". Even then, these were cheap

wrenches and are a bit oversized. But I'm close enough to finish easily with my skew.

Then on to start shaping the body while it is still far from the chuck jaws. I'll even

sand it now. Now I can reverse the wood and mount it with

the tenon. I'll drill it to fit the pen about 1" up from the end. Then switch to

a smaller bit for the next little bit. Finally, switch to a ¼" bit for the tip of the pen.

Those holes left ridges into the wood. I'll smooth them with a small hollowing tool. Yep,

it's the one I made from an Allen wrench. Then sand and finish with lacquer. After the

lacquer was dry, I glued this piece into the burl base.

Well, there is my desk pen. My pen kit cost about $1.25 for a dozen pens. Well, not quite.

The package had 2 bonus pens. I did not have to glue in tubes or use a pen mandrel or use

a pen press. I did use a standard pen blank although a longer piece would have been more

comfortable turning. What I have now is a very nice turned pen with a lot of potential

to dress it up even more in the pen or in the stand. But I like this one just as it

is. That's all for my pen set. Please give this

So, I'm here - many of you asked me to show you what Brazilian Day was like -

officially, it's BR Day - here in Manhattan.

And what do they have here? There's Brazilian food, Brazilian music

Brazilian people, gringos,

But Amigo Gringo is not here just to have fun, but to work.

We'll be asking Brazilians who live here what's good, what's bad and what's surprising

about living in the United States.

I came with a program called "au pair." You live with an American family and care for their children.

It's really fun. You really do feel like you're in Brazil.

What do you like the most about living in the United States, compared to Brazil?

I prefer to live here because it's safe, and because of economic stability.

Safety is the main thing for me.

-I like to buy everything. -Cheaper here?

Cheaper. You can buy everything!

The main thing is education for my son.

The United States is our best reference point, not just for culture but for trends.

I always want to be around all that.

The best part of living in the United States is that you have the freedom to come and go.

And that's great. It's very safe.

There's safety, and affordable prices.

I'm not a big consumer, but buying things here is much better than in Brazil.

In other words, attention friends of Mayara: she's going to be bringing you lots of presents.

How well organized things are: the police, security.

Separating trash: recyclables from organic material. That you only see in a few parts of Brazil.

And here it's almost everywhere.

-I love Canton. -But what's Canton, they're not going to know.

Cleveland, Football Hall of Fame.

She's so American that she can't even explain where she lives to Brazilians.

-Football Hall of Fame! -Nobody knows what "Hall of Fame" means.

Indians, Cavs. Everyone knows the Cavs! Cavaliers!

She's not Brazilian! She's turned American!

-I've been here 14 years. -Do you remember Brazil?

I remember.

Bahian food here!

-There's Bahian food here?

-Are you Bahian? -Uh-huh.

Do you live in Bahia?

I live in Porto Seguro!

Worst part of being here?

The worst part is being far from our family. And that's very hard.

I liked the group of friends I had in Brazil. We have so many childhood friends, friends we grew up with,

and stay with us our whole lives. I miss them.

I like Brazil for having friends to talk with. And here I don't have many.

Do you miss anything about Brazil?

Living your life as if it was your last day.

I think we miss the food, it's easier to find there than here.

-Stress. People are really stressed here. -Everyone is stressed.

-Everyone's stressed. -Lots of activity.

Lots of activity, lots of stress. For example, here it seems cars are powered by horns.

Often people start to honk, and...

I think that in Brazil you feel freer.

You can do more things that you can't do here.

-Such as? -For example, drink in the streets.

Where I live, it's the cold, which is very different from where I came from.

São Paulo is known for being a cold state, but in Michigan it gets down to -20 or -23(Celsius)

with a wind chill of -30.

I miss my family tremendously.

Have you been able to visit your family in Brazil?

Godwilling, next year I'll visit them.

-How long have you been here? -Ten years.

-And when's the last time you were in Brazil? -Ten years ago.

You haven't been back, wow. How does that feel?

Thank God these days we have WhatsApp and Facebook, so we stay in touch, that makes it easier.

In that sense, technology helps. But it's tough.

Beyond that, in those ten years, my mother hasn't come here,

so it's ten years since I've seen my mother or my brother.

My father passed away, but it's been ten years since I've seen them.

I think that since I got here I've felt more bullying.

There are a lot of kids in my school whose parents are Trump supporters,

and they say some pretty heavy things, like "Go back to your country."

-Things like that... -That's really ugly.

I'd never felt that before. But when you become a minority, you feel it in your skin.

We're here and I've just seen a Brazilian celebrity! But I have no idea who it is!

Who is it?

Something that surprised you. The US was different from how you imagined how?

People are very receptive and friendly. I heard they would be cold, but they're not.

So, something that surprised me is that in Brazil everyone says Americans are really cold,

And the family I'm living with is very warm. As soon as I arrived they hugged me, they always hug me.

That's really nice.

When I got here I thought I'd find a New York everywhere I went.

But in reality, that's not it, it's a diverse country, and every region you go to you'll find different people,

with different cultures with different dialects.

It's boring. it's a boring life. It's a very routinized life.

-The mall. -Mall?

The shopping mall so famous in Brazil.

But what's different?

People are very polite there, they always offer to help but don't follow you the whole time.

In Brazil, they're like "Do you need help?" and are kind of pressuring you to buy something.

When you get here, you think it's something totally different.

That life will be easier, that you'll work like you did in Brazil, eight hours, get weekends off.

You think you'll have a life like there, but it's totally different.

When you get here, since you're an immigrant, you end up working Saturdays, Sundays, morning, night,

You don't have the same schedule as in Brazil.

The weather.

The snow. I hated the snow. People, don't wish for snow.

It's really bad, because in my city, it snows a lot. In Massachusetts, you don't leave your house in the winter.

-Really cold. -Lots of snow. Lots of inches of snow.

Lately we've received many questions about EXO Theories serie

I bet you expected Ko ko bop theory but it's impossible to analyse Ko ko bop without analysing the rest of EXO videos

Let's start!

EXO sticks to one concept since predebut

It's superpowers concept

This is why I have to explain everything since the very beginning

EXO name comes from exoplanet,

a planet outside of our solar system that orbits a star

12 creatures came from exoplanet and each of them has a superpower and a symbol

The group is divided into EXO-K and EXO-M

And these are EXO-K's superpowers:

Kai - teleportation

Chanyeol - fire

Suho - water

Baekhyun - light

Sehun - wind

D.O - ground, lately also known as force

EXO-M looks like this:

Chen - lightinings

Lay - healing

Xiumin - frost

Kris - flying

Tao - time control

Luhan - telekinesis

It is known that EXO lost their memory after landing on Earth

They think they're normal people

It means that they also don't remember about their powers

Even since predebut, the member who appeared the most often in teasers was Kai

If we look deeper into it, we will understand why

'KAI' means 'open' in Chinese and it refers to a key in What is Love MV

When it comes to EXO, it will also mean awakening because of two things:

First of all, even though EXO lives on one planet, they don't know about their coexistence

Kai is a member who awakens the rest of them

He awakens their awareness about the rest of them

Second of all, after landing on Earth, EXO doesn't remember who they are and they also don't remember that they have any kind of powers

EXO recently said that Ko ko bop is a MV that shows what happened after coming to Earth

We know that Kai was also quite important in this MV but I will tell you more about it in a different video

We can find a proof for that in EXO teasers and SM released 23 of them

Some of them show only dance and EXO's talent and skills

But some of them refers to superpower concept

The 8th teaser, Black Pearl, was the first one that showed any connection to exoplanet

Even the title is meaningful

Black pearls are rare and exotic stones

They were worn by monarchy and elites

Now they're called Queen pearls

If you want to understand why it is important for EXO theories, I have to mention a really popular motive that appeared ealier and we still see it nowadays

Of course, I'm talking about the eclipse and its meaning

It occurs when an astronomical object is temporarily obscured, either by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body pass between it and the viewer

For us, the most frequent event is a solar eclipse or lunar eclipse

In the past, Korean people believed that a King is a Sun and a Queen is a Moon

This belief comes from Irworobongdo which is a painting that shows the moon, the sun and five peaks

The sun and the moon symbolize the king and the queen

Five peaks symbolize mythical place

It's also a reference to Yin Yang

Yin symbolize the sun

and Yang symbolizes the moon

Let's come back to history for a moment,

The sun and the moon shouldn't be next to each other,

this is why the King and the Queen had seperate places

An eclipse was a moment when the King and the Queen could finally be together

But what does it have to do with EXO?

In MAMA MV we see a phoenix and a dragon

Each of the symbols refers to one part of the group

Kris' symbol is a dragon and this is why it's also a symbol of EXO-M

In the past, Chinese people believed that the King is a dragon and it was a sacred creature

So EXO-M is a King

A phoenix is the Queen's symbol

Korean hanboks often have a phoenix motive

A phoenix can change into a human being and it has healing powers

Phoenix is EXO-K's symbol so EXO-K is a queen

As I already mentioned, an eclipse appeared often in teasers

In 8th one - Black Pearl

9th - Into Your World

11th - Let Out The Beast

15th - Metal

16th - Reflection I

17th - Into Your World

19th - Beautiful

20th - El Dorado

To sum up, an eclipse symbolize the unity of sun and moon

but also a moment when the king and the queen, in this case EXO-M and EXO-K, becomes one

and we know perfectly EXO's motto:

1, 2, 3 WE ARE ONE! We are EXO!

You have to admit that everything becomes clearer suddenly

so we can move on

Especially because those meaningful teasers appear in What Is Love

Besides 23 teasers, SM released 2 prologue singles

In fact, 4 singles because they were released as EXO-K and EXO-M so in both languages - Korean and Mandarin

We can see all the teasers that refers to EXO's superpowers

We also see how the members find out about each other

Besides the teasers that show EXO's alterity,

also dance teasers were put into What Is Love MV

We should ask why the teasers were published seperately then?

The answer is quite easy,

Putting them altogether makes it much more easier to understand

and it also shows the viewers the right point of view

One of the most important moments in this MV is a scene in which Chanyeol finds all the symbols

Each member has his own symbol and SM stuck into them for a really long time and it still does

EXO members are seperated,

they don't know about each other but they know that something is about to happen and this is why they're looking for something

Kris is the only member who seems to know about his superpower

Of course, the most important thing in this MV is an eclipse

All the members pay attention to it and look at it

They slowly start to understand what is happening

King and queen become one, EXO-K and EXO-M become one - they become EXO

This is why at the end of this MV we see a scene of an eclipse and all the members appear slowly on Earth

The 2nd prologue seems more symbolic

But it's also important because at the very beginning, we see a celestial object in a space

and we find out that it's an exoplanet which EXO comes from

The whole plot happens on this planet

First prologue was a teaser for superpowers concept

The second one shows their dancing skills

Because this MV is just a choreography on exoplanet

If we know the basics, we can move to EXO's debut - MAMA

MAMA means Your Majesty in Korean

Korean people called the queen MAMA

So after knowing what the title means, we can refer it once again to monarchy and the meaning of sun and moon

The MV starts with a story about 2 worlds and how EXO was made:

The most important part of this story is a moment where we find out about two suns that look alike and two worlds that seem alike

12 forces will nurture the tree of life

We can see it in Wolf MV

MAMA is about superpowers and Kai is again the most important member

he is a key to set the rest of the members free

Since the beginning, Kai is using his power which is teleportation

He appears next to each member and awakens them

We have a proof for that in the following scenes: we see how the powers start to work

Of course, the power scenes are mixed with dancing scenes

Again, they're dancing on exoplanet

How to Draw a Monstera Leaf || Leaf Drawing in Pencil - Duration: 3:20.

Hi everyone!

Today we'll be drawing a monstera leaf.

I'm using two pencils.

An HB pencil and a 0.7 mm mechanical pencil and its eraser.

And I have a photo reference.

Start by sketching the shape of the leaf lightly with a hard pencil such as HB, a kind of a

heart shape.

Sketch out the lobes and the holes of the leaf.

A reference photo helps a lot here and in the shading stage.

The tips of the lobes are sharp.

Next go ahead and sketch out the veins of the leaf.

They're not symmetrical.

Then erase the lines you don't need anymore.

Now, lightly shade in the areas between the veins using the same hard pencil.

We'll build on the shading to create more contrast.

You can carve out the white veins again with a small eraser like the one on the mechanical

pencil.

I forgot to draw the holes in the beginning so I'm doing that now and erasing the shading

from those areas.

Now, look at your reference photo or a real monstera leaf to determine where to add darker

shading.

You can switch to a softer pencil.

I'm using the mechanical pencil here.

I'm shading a bit around the leaf veins and the edges of the lobes that would be further

away from the light source.

Continue with even darker shading on smaller areas.

You can make some sharp lines besides the soft shading.

Finally make some highlights with the eraser to add more contrast.

And you're done!

Monstera deliciosa is a classic houseplant from the rainforest, but I've been seeing

monstera leaves everywhere especially this summer.

I like their shape a lot so I want to use in my painting backgrounds and make patterns

for my Redbubble shop using drawn and painted monstera leaves.
