Yes, if you remain focused.
If you keep on focusing your mind on one particular thought.
Mantra is better because it has special power because these are special sounds.
And these special sounds have the ability to manifest.
And I'll talk about it during the program how these sounds manifest.
Because everything in this world starts from a sound.
Without sound there is no creation.
Ultimately, everything had to be reduced to just sound waves.
Sound waves create.
So, can everybody become a millionaire?
Yes, if you train your mind.
The whole program is about training your mind.
First to get your thoughts to 15 thoughts a minute.
That will be ideal.
And then, at that level, then your thought will become very powerful.
They are not frivolous thoughts.
So what are you going to learn from this program is just how to train the mind to remain focused.
I'll tell you an example.
Bill Gates said, he's the richest man in the world, that nobody can dissuade him from
his interest in computers.
And that was his focus.
I remember when I was teaching at the University of Pittsburgh, a course on manifestation.
It was about in the 1980s.
Bill Gates had made about 10 billion dollars.
Time Magazine asked him, "Bill Gates, do you really want to make more money?"
"Yes, I do."
Why?
"Because I want to take time off."
With 10 billion dollars he was not satisfied.
So did he, so was he satisfied later on?
Yes, when he made 100 billion dollars.
So, focus is everything.
It's not that Bill Gates was born rich.
Everybody has the ability to manifest whatever they want to manifest.
I can talk about it forever.
I don't want to occupy you with just one idea.
Yes, you can.
Everybody can, but it is a matter of commitment, it is a matter of focus.

The master, the man, the living legend.
No words can begin to describe the legacy this man has created.
There is too much, in so many ways, that has been shaped in books, movies and society in
general by his work.
So instead let's just let his work speak for itself.
These are the best 5 books, in my own opinion, King has brought into being.
From the perspective of Horror.
Always.
The Dark Tower I: The Gunslinger
This is another world, perhaps.
Where a lone gunslinger is on a chase and has been for quite some time.
The man he's chasing, if we could call it a man at all, is miles and miles away, and
still, the Gunslinger is getting close with each day it passess, for the World has moved
and the rules are not that clear anymore.
This is not an action book, quite the opposite, it's almost a poem.
its beauty lies on the insanity of being alone, or almost alone, in what seems to be an eternal
chase.
But in the end, the man in black is just a means, it's not the final goal.
Beyond the man in black, many miles, many times, many worlds away, lies in the middle
of All, The Tower.
The answer, the enigma, that pushes the Gunslinger across the desert to his limit.
I couldn't recommend this book enough, it's a slow burner for sure but it creates a world
that pulls you in so deep that you may be having a hard time coming back.
It's so vague, it's so unsettling that it will leave you to wonder about the world
that surrounds you.
Number Four Duma Key.
This is the story of a broken man that after a life-destroying accident is trying to mend
himself and goes to the perfect place to do so, a small beach house on Duma Key.
In there he picks an old passion of his; art, and unknowingly becomes a door to that which
was lying waiting in there to go out and start eating.
This book is a haunted house full twist story.
Proving there are still new ways to tell even the oldest of tales.
It's hard to explain much of the book without spoiling things, and it's just that the
book evolves with such flow that everything needs to be experienced first hand.
It has some creepy, some shocking and even some panic inducing scenes so the book will
run you through the whole spectrum of fear all on its own.
A must read, usually underrated, but totally worth every second you put into it.
Number three.
Fulll Dark, No Stars.
4 of the most twisted and dark stories ever brought to life by the master.
I almost find it like an homage book, with the first story being a slow descent into
madness Lovecraft's style.
The second a full revenge tale which Wes Craven surely would have loved.
The third has words that live up to the satirical shocking pen of Clive Barker and the fourth
culminates with a good and well constructed story that is all King.
This is a must read.
For Horror fans in general, not only King fans, it goes all ways with the four stories
proving King can do whatever he pleases and do it really well.
It's at times depressing, at times scary, confusing and shocking, this is not a book
for the faint of heart.
You have been warned.
Number Two.
It.
There are monsters that live inside the world, and then there are the monsters that are your
whole world.
There's so much buzz for Pennywise these days and yet the movies have not actually
made him justice.
It might have had something to do with the history of the town, but you don't really
understand that, not fully, until you read the book.
And so the book is written in two parts, the Loser's story and the Pennywise's story.
The best parts of the book in my opinion, are all left outside the films, everything
you know Pennywise has done, every little secret that you know he's hidden in Derry,
the fact of knowing It's haunting.
Haunting.
The Town.
From the start.
And in the end you realize this is not about a monster clown eating children, because It,
whatever It is, is what child-eating monsters fear.
This is something a lot darker, that in the end will make you question your own mind and
your reality.
Number One.
Revival.
What would you do to know?
So many people claim to hate not knowing something, but what if, what if the answer to your question
is not what you expected, what if the answer drives you mad?
What if the answer kills you?
I used to thinkt that going mad would be worse than dying, after all, dying is just
the vanishing of consciousness, right? but after reading Revival, I'm not so sure anymore.
This is the story of a man who met a Priest when he was a child and the life that takes
him back to that priest over and over again.
This is a story about death.
About obsession.
About wanting to know and about regretting finally finding out.
This is a book you should never read, if death is something that truly scares you, and if
it doesn't scare you, it may do so by the end of the book.
The most Lovecraftian story King has ever created, and one of the most terrifying.
It's so vague, so unsettling and takes away all the power of the characters and of the
reader, that I consider it to be, no less than a TRUE Horror Masterpiece.
And the best horror book written by The King.

The Secret: the Law of Attraction Review - Learn how to use it!! - Duration: 20:38.
- Hello my friend, Gustavo Almeida here.
Today we're gonna talk about The Secret.
You probably, maybe you have seen the movie.
Or maybe you read the book.
Or at least probably you heard about it.
The Secret was released back in 2006.
So about 11 years ago.
And I'm gonna talk about it because
if you're into personal development
and you wanna use personal development
to help you achieve your goals,
and you want to become more successful
in your online business,
I think watching the Secret
can have a very good effect.
But at the same time, I think many people,
they get it a little bit wrong.
They don't see the whole picture and they tend to
overlook one or two points of it
which are very important.
So first of all, what is the secret?
The secret is the law of attraction.
You probably heard about it before.
The movie is 11 years old,
but the concept of the law of attraction
and all the ideas about what it stands for,
they're not new.
Rhonda Byrne, the author of the book,
of the movie the Secret,
she says that her main inspiration
for making the movie was the book
the Science of Getting Rich by Wallace D Wattles.
So that book was written in 1910.
Yes, 1910.
That book has over 100 years now.
If you watch the movie the Secret
and you read the Science of Getting Rich,
you'll find many similar points.
You'll see that they talk,
a great deal of what is talked about
on one of them is also talked about on the other.
They may call, they may use different names,
but in reality you can understand
that they are talking about the same stuff.
Another book that relates a lot with those two
is Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich.
So I'm not gonna explain you and say all what the Secret
is about, but I'm gonna talk about it in a shorter way.
So the concept of the Secret is that you can,
you are a creator.
You can create your reality
and you do it with your thoughts and your feelings.
So if you're feeling good,
you will have good events happen in your life.
If you're feeling bad, the opposite will happen.
And there's a straight relation
between thoughts and feelings.
And they say that the more vivid feelings and passionate
feelings you have, the faster things will happen.
And they say that this is like gravity.
It's not something you can choose to do or not to do.
It's happening, it's working.
And even if you ignore it,
you can't escape to be affected by the way this works.
The Secret, something that you're gonna hear
throughout the movie, is that like attracts like.
So that's kind of, again, that goes around
the same thing that I said a short while ago.
Good feelings attract good feelings.
Good feelings attract good
and good events and circumstances.
So like attracts like.
So the idea, in a way I think that one
of the main advantages that I got with
the Secret was kind of a mental cleansing, if you will.
They say that you should track your thoughts
and you should be aware of what you're thinking.
Of course like anything, when you start doing it
it might feel a little overwhelming.
But as you start to get ahold of it, it becomes easier.
The idea is to not allow bad feelings to,
I mean you can't just avoid them completely,
but at least try to make them last less time
and be less strong
so you can rapidly go back to feeling good.
So what are the three steps?
The three steps are ask, believe, and receive.
The first step, asking, is about you getting clear of what
you want to become, what you want to have, and stating it.
For example, one of the authors
in the Secret is Bob Proctor.
Bob Proctor for years has used a goal card.
It's a small card where you write your goal
and you can keep that card in your wallet.
And you can watch it at night before you go to sleep,
in the morning, and in many opportunities during your day.
So something you have to consider is that
you have to be a little specific,
or a lot more specific if you can.
I heard one interview with Joe Vitale,
another author that is featured in the Secret,
and he says that for example, you can't just wish a new car.
That's too vague.
Imagine that you get an old beat-up car.
I mean it's new for you, it's the first time
you're having it, but it's not a new car.
So you have to be specific about what you want.
Something specific would be, I want a 2017
Lexus IS 300H with black leather interior.
So that defines the make, the brand,
the model, the engine, the outside color,
the inside color, the leather and the seats.
So the more specific you get, the better.
So that was the step about asking.
The second one is believing.
And in the Secret,
they use a comparison that I'm gonna use too.
When you go to a restaurant, you make your order,
and then you just relax and wait.
The thing is, when people are trying to use the secret,
many times they are constantly checking,
checking out to see if their goal has materialized.
If their wish came true.
So if you go to a restaurant,
you order your meal, and then you relax and wait.
You know they're gonna bring it to you.
So you gotta adopt the same feeling
regarding your goals here.
There's also another thing they talk about in the step
and I think that that part is very very important.
It is about inspired action.
When you feel inspiration to do something,
you should take action.
For example, I felt inspiration
to make a video about the Secret.
So I took action.
I took a note that I wanted
to do this, and I'm doing it now.
If you feel that it is something that attracts you,
you feel inspired to do it, then you should do it.
The authors say that that means that you're in tune
with the universe, and that helps to bring along your goals.
On the other hand, if you have some kind of idea
to reach your goals but in some way you don't feel
comfortable about it, then you shouldn't go that way.
So there's only one step left.
It's receiving.
So receiving, after you've asked and you believe it,
what you gotta do is feel like you already have it.
There's a saying,
I don't remember the exact words how it goes,
but to become something, you must be something.
So the idea is,
you have to start making changes in your life,
and mainly in your mindset,
so that you can bring along, so you can move yourself
into the position where you wanna be.
And just an example.
Imagine that one of your goals
is having a brand new luxury car.
But you can't afford it.
If you see one on the street,
you can admire it, but at the same time,
you get that feeling that it's out of reach.
So you gotta condition your mind
to believing that you can have it.
You must believe that you can have it.
And you gotta feel like you have it.
This is not just about visualization.
It's not just about imagining it,
like if you were watching images about it.
It's more about feeling like if the car was already yours.
If it helps,
go to the local dealership.
Sit down in a car.
Feel the steering wheel,
feel the leather of the steering wheel.
Feel the leather of the gear knob on the seats.
Smell the leather of the seats.
Feel that scent of the new plastics of the car interior
that are quite strong while the car is new.
So it's a vivid feeling
to make you feel like you're already living what you want.
To sum it up, I think it's not very important
if you believe in what it is said on the Secret.
I know a lot of people don't believe
what is said on the Secret.
But if you don't, just consider that what you find
in the Secret can also be found in a lot of books.
Mainly in some books that I've
read and that I would recommend you.
One of them is the Science of Getting Rich.
Another one is Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
And believe me, if you don't know those books,
Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich is a classic.
That book is very, very recommended by many people.
It came out I think in the late '30s.
It's an old book, but many people
consider that it's still very, very, very, actual.
That it's not dated.
If you compare the ideas of those books,
you'll see that there are many similar ideas.
And what I think is that the application of those ideas
can bring you a lot of results, a lot of positive results.
And just for a moment,
let's be skeptic for a moment.
Imagine that you start to diminish bad feelings.
Trying to cut them off.
And you spend more time feeling good.
I think we can agree that
the circumstances in your life will get better.
Because if you are feeling better, and you're happier,
and you have better relation with people around you,
that has an effect on people around
you and how they relate to you.
And it also helps you achieving your goals.
In case you wonder,
many successful people,
many of them go as far as saying that their success
was achieved because of the Secret.
One of the people that is a firm believer is Oprah Winfrey.
Oprah at a time was told that
she wasn't the right person to be on TV.
I don't know exactly what they told her,
but she wanted to make television programs
and she was told no.
Nowadays, I mean look at her today,
or even 10 years ago or 20.
She's having a tremendous success with her program.
And she says that she believes in Secret.
So at the beginning, I said that
I think people missed part of the Secret.
So the thing I think people missed is that
people sometimes think that they only need to ask
for what they want and go and sit on the couch
and wait for that thing or that goal to happen.
That's not how things go.
Inspired action, because you have to take action, okay?
So if you're a bit more skeptic,
maybe you could've gotten the idea
that you had to do nothing but just think.
Again that you would sit on your couch,
ask for what you wanted,
and then just lie back and wait.
That's not how it works.
And that's why I believe that the Secret or the teachings
that you'll find on the Science of Getting Rich
or Think and Grow Rich or Thought Vibration
is another book that is about,
it's a book that is about the law of attraction.
If you apply those teachings,
that will help you greatly achieving your goals.
If you haven't seen the movie,
I suggest you watch it.
Even if you don't believe 100%
on what you're told in the movie,
I think a great deal of it, a great deal of it is useful
in helping you achieve your goals.

8.3. We Are Not Our Institutional Roles - Duration: 4:49.
Every morning, we all wake up…and spend our day filling institutional roles.
Citizens. Workers. Customers. Clients. Teachers. Students.
Politicians. Police officers. Managers. Executives. Journalists. Pastors and other religious leaders.
We are not these roles.
We're just people.
But through our participation in society, we acquire these roles.
There's a lot of pressure on us to fulfill these roles.
Heck, in the case of being a worker, your entire living wage is dependent on you doing a good job,
working for the institution that's paying you.
We are not these roles.
But it's not surprising—especially when we fill a role for a long time, and do a good job at it—
that we start to identify with them.
After all, our social status—both within the organization we work for, and in our society at large—
is the result of the roles we fill, and how successfully we fill them.
We are not these roles.
But when you're filling these roles…you aren't supposed to let your personal baggage get in the way.
You're supposed to put aside your emotions, your opinions, your disagreements—
and just focus on doing the job at hand.
When you go to work, what you're effectively paid to do is step out of your own personhood,
and become an institutional agent.
You're paid to adopt an institutional mindset.
To donate your time and energy not to what you want to do, or what you think is best—
but to what the rules and directives of the institution tell you to do.
We even praise people who do that well for being "professional."
And sometimes, this is all well and good.
But where we run into problems is when our institutions become corrupt, exploitative, or dysfunctional.
We run into problems when the personhood that you're supposed to just set aside temporarily
doesn't come back—and an institutional mindset takes over your own personal mindset.
Because institutions suck at seeing people as people.
They can only see people as roles, as resources, as objects useful to their institutional goals…
or obstacles standing in their way, making their jobs harder.
As numbers, scapegoats, targets, pawns, suckers, sources of revenue, people who need to be disciplined or punished.
Anytime we see people in this way…we aren't really seeing them as people.
We're seeing them through the eyes of institutional agents.
So many of our societal conflicts boil down to a conflict
between some group of ordinary people, and some group of institutional agents.
Usually, the institutional agents are victimizing the ordinary people.
And usually, they feel totally justified in doing so—because the institutional mindset has so taken over the people
who work for that institution that they can't empathize with the people they're oppressing.
Because institutions aren't capable of empathizing with people.
Only people can empathize with people.
As Upton Sinclair famously said, "It's difficult to get a man to understand something,
when his salary depends upon his not understanding it."
We are not these roles.
And no matter what roles you fill, and how devoted you are to their mission,
I hope you can still step out of those roles, and be a person.
