Youtube daily report w Sep 23 2017

Whenever you're starting a new save on your favorite RPG, you can almost always count

on having to choose whether your character is a man or a woman.

While the differences rarely go past the cosmetics of your character, it made us wonder; in real

life, what are the differences between men and women?

If you want a taller player for instance, who should you choose in life's character

selection screen?

Today we explore the differences between guys and girls, in this episode of The Infographics

Show; Men vs Women.

Don't forget to subscribe and click the bell button so that you can be part of our

Notification Squad.

In terms of sheer numbers, the men have the women of this world beat.

In 2016, the CIA of the United States estimated that there are approximately 1.015 males for

every female.

That may not seem like a lot, but with a world population of around 7.5 billion people, that's

quite a few more guys playing for Team XY.

According to data from The United Nations, the great cup of the United States is a little

more full with females, having about 102 women for every 100 men.

If you're looking for even more female friends, you might want to head on over to Ukraine

and Estonia.

Both places have the greatest relative amount of women in the world with about 117 women

for every 100 men.

If you're on a quest for a greater concentration of Y chromosomes, Qatar might be just the

place for you.

It rings in at having the highest relative amount of delightful dudes, only having about

32 women for every 100 males.

The United Arab Emirates is pretty similar, having 44 women for every 100 males.

Even though there are almost as many women as men overall, the lovely ladies around the

world only even get an equal representation in parliament to men in the nation of Andorra

based off of 2012 data from the UN.

Everywhere else, there are more parliamentary seats given to men than women, other than

in Rwanda, where women make up 56.3% of the parliament.

When it comes to the battle of size, men are typically the heavyweights in the arena.

According to the CDC, the average American male is 69.3 inches tall and weighs in at

about 195.5 pounds with the average female coming in at 63.8 inches and 166.2 pounds.

Men also are a little thicker in the waist with an average waist circumference of 39.7

inches while women only measure about 37.5 inches in their waist circumference.

If life truly was an RPG, this could make women better suited for the light, rogue class

and men better suited for the heavy, warrior class.

Either way, I just want to slay some dragons and unlock treasure chests of gold!

Women tend to live longer than their male counterparts.

Based off of 2013 statistics, men in the United States had a life expectancy on average of

76.4 years.

Women have an average life expectancy of about 81.2 years.

With the reported countries, Switzerland had the longest life expectancy for men at 80.7

years and Japan had the longest life expectancy for women at 86.6 years.

One of the reasons for the gender differences in life expectancy can be traced back to rates

of suicide and homicide between men and women.

Based off of 2014 data in the US, men had higher rates of both suicide and homicide

in every reported age bracket.

In the age bracket of 25-44, men were over 3 times as likely to commit suicide than women

and the disparity was the greatest in the 65 and over age bracket, where men were over

6 times as likely to take their own life.

Between 15 and 24 years of age, men were over 6 times as likely to die from homicide than

women, but a little less than twice as likely for men to be a victim of homicide compared

to women when over the age of 65.

Both suicide and homicide can be devastating and working to lower their rates among both

sexes would be great ways to better the world.

You may have heard the saying that men are from Mars and women are from Venus, driving

a wedge between the sexes and making us think that men and women are significantly different

from one another.

However, in reality, men and women seem to be far more alike than they are different.

Based off the study of 46 meta-analyses, scientists found that men and women are basically alike

in terms of personality, cognitive ability, and leadership.

Some differences were still shown, like men being slightly more aggressive, but even this

seems to be more a product of society than man's true nature.

In fact, in some studies designed to eliminate gender norms, women were more aggressive and

men were more passive when the tests were designed to strip them of their stereotypes!

See friends, don't let your gender define you.

Be whatever type of person you want to be!

So, are there other major differences between men and women that we failed to share in the

video?

Top 10 STRANGEST PLANETS In The UNIVERSE - Duration: 8:21.

Hey YouTube, Jim here! Welcome to Top10Archive! The more we explore the farthest reaches of

the universe, the more we realize just how weird it can be. Every new planet discovered

comes with the potential for bizarre attributes, unique physical features, and alien elements.

Of the numerous planets discovered since the advent of the space program, none are as outlandish

as the top ten strangest planets chronicled in this galactic Archive! Before we get started,

we invite you to subscribe our channel, and afterward if you enjoyed the video, hit that

like button, and be sure to leave us a comment because we're always looking to engage in

stellar conversations with you! Also, don't forget to click the bell so you get notified

every time we put out a new video! 10. PSR B1620-26 b

Nicknamed after a 969-year-old man in the Hebrew Bible, PSR B1620-25 b, or Methuselah,

is the oldest known planet in the universe. Sized at an estimated 2.5 times the mass of

Jupiter, the largest planet in our own solar system, Methuselah is dated at almost 13 billion

years old, during a time when the heavier elements responsible for planets like Earth

were scarce and planet formation was thought impossible. What the unique world proves is

that globular clusters, like the star cluster M4 that Methuselah was found in, could be

hiding ancient celestial bodies despite earlier research.

9. HD 106906 b Eleven times the mass of Jupiter, HD 106906

b was first publicly observed in 2013 by a team of astronomers at the University of Arizona.

While impressively large, the 13-million-year-old exoplanet is best known for its massive orbit

around its host star, HD 106906. At 650 AU from its host star, astronomers believe it's

impossible for the planet to have formed from the protoplanetary disk, or disk of gas and

dust surrounding a young star, and suggest that it may have formed in a binary system.

The issue with that theory is that the current mass ratio of roughly 140:1 far exceeds the

standard ratio in a binary system of 10:1. 8. HAT-P-1

It's not often you hear a planet described as "big and puffy," but when it has a

mass half that of Jupiter's with double the volume, those words are pretty fitting.

When HAT-P-1 was first observed within the Lacerta constellation in 2006, its close distance

to its host star, ADS 16402 b, was its notable feature, but even the .55 AU gap was largely

forgotten as astronomers found that HAT-P-1 was a lightweight gas giant. Likely comprised

primarily of hydrogen and helium, it's believed that a 1-meter (3-foot) cube cut from the

planet would weigh about 290 kilograms (640 lbs) - in contrast, the same amount of Earth

would weigh about 5,500 kilograms (12,125 lbs).

7. CoRoT-7b Lovingly described as a "Volcanic Hell,"

no matter how Earth-like CoRoT-7b may be, this tiny exoplanet isn't going to be welcoming

us anytime soon. At 60 times closer to its host star than Earth is to the Sun, CoRoT-7b

is said to experience heating up to 3,600°F (1,982°C) on its lit side. While the planet's

Earth-like properties indicate that it is likely made of rock, its extreme temperatures

would have liquified any solid surface and may have even reduced its mass considerably

over time. 6. TrES-4

A baffling mystery of astronomical proportions, TrES-4 has been stumping researchers since

its discovery in 2006. Not only is the extrasolar planet of the Hercules constellation one of

the largest exoplanets ever discovered, it also takes the award for being the planet

with the lowest density. At 70% larger than Jupiter, TrES-4 only contains ¾ of the giant's

mass, making it comparative to the density of balsa wood. The disproportionate physical

size to mass may have roots in TrES-4's close distance of 7.2 million km (4.5 million

miles) to its host star, GSC 02620-00648. 5. TrES-2b

If you're looking for a dark corner of the universe to hide out in and reflect on your

life, TrES-2b may be your best bet. Why the surface of this Jupiter-sized gas giant reflects

almost no light is a mystery to astronomers, but some have proposed it has something to

do with the abundance of sodium and titanium oxide in its gaseous atmosphere. Whatever

the cause, TrES-2b reflects less than 1% of the light that hits it but still reaches temperatures

as high as 1,800°F (982°C). 4. WASP-12b

Bad news, Archivists! We have a limited window to view the extrasolar planet of WASP-12b.

Of course, that window is upwards of 10 million years, but that doesn't change the fact

that, in May of 2010, astronomers have been observing the consumption of WASP-12b by its

host star. It's been no secret that a star could literally devour a planet, but the consumption

of WASP-12b marks the first time astronomers have been able to observe the event clearly.

The carbon-giant is only 2.1 million miles (3.3 million km) away from its Sun, a staggering

33.8 million miles (53.1 million km) closer than Mercury is to our own glowing orb.

3. Gliese 504b Do ya think it's the hard-to-miss, dark

magenta coloring of this planet that everybody's clambering about? Possibly, but beyond that,

Gliese 504b happens to be the smallest known exoplanet that orbits a Sun-like star… which

is interesting, but we're still drawn to that unique, cotton candy hue! Beneath the

pinkish exterior, which is believed to be the leftover glow from the heat of its formation,

Gliese 504b is actually thought to be cold and blue, as indicated by infrared imagery.

2. 55 Cancri e If you're in a bind and need a lot of money,

you may want to turn your attention to the super-Earth, 55 Cancri e. A 2010 paper on

55 Cancri e and its host star reported that both were carbon-rich, leading to the belief

that the planet may be a gold mine of diamonds. Though a 2013 follow-up claims the star is

comprised of less carbon than originally thought, it doesn't entirely rule out the possibility

of the concept of a "diamond planet." Located in the Cancer constellation, 55 Cancri

e orbits its star in 2.8 days and was the first super-Earth to have its atmosphere successfully

analyzed. 1. HD 188753 A

No, we're not tricking you with images of Tatooine. In 2005, HD 188753 A was discovered

and became the first planet found within a triple-star system. Only marginally larger

than Jupiter, the extrasolar planet is accompanied by three unique stars. How the gas giant came

about in the three-star system proves to be the greatest puzzle as the presence of multiple

stars alters the stability of the disk of debris, making it difficult for the gaseous

form to accumulate and grow in size. Thanks for journeying with us to these strange and

fascinating planets. If you found this video interesting, then give it a like and leave

Politicians Say Medicare For All Is Too Expensive, Then Give $700 Billion To The Military - Duration: 3:36.

Earlier this week, the House of Representatives voted on the National Defense Authorization

Act of 2018, the NDAA.

That is the piece of legislation that funds the military for the coming fiscal year.

They decided that they were going to give the military 700 billion dollars to operate

in the next 12 months.

That is an 80 billion dollar increase than what they had the previous year.

If we're willing to spend, as a country, 700 billion dollars on our military for just one

year, why are we being told that things like universal healthcare, medicare for all, debt-free

college, after school programs, infrastructure development, why are we being told that those

things are too expensive or that they're pipe dreams that the federal government could never

fully handle, operate, execute?

We just can't do it because we don't have the resources.

We have heard that argument too many times in the last few weeks, especially with regards

to Bernie Sanders Medicare for All legislation.

That includes those talking points coming out of the mouths of alleged democrats in

Washington, D.C.

We just can't afford it.

We gave the military an 80 billion dollar increase in their budget for the next year,

but as it turns out, Bernie Sanders' Medicare for All legislation would only cost us 47

billion dollars per year.

We still could've increased the military's budget by 33 billion dollars over what they

had the previous months and fully funded the Medicare for All legislation, no questions

asked.

That's it.

End of story.

That's how you fund it.

Here in the United States, we spend more on our military than any other country on the

planet.

In fact, we spend so much on our military that we spend more than most other countries

combined.

We're not even close to having anyone else spend near as much on their military as we

do.

Part of this budget authorization includes 94 brand new F35 fighter jets, which was 2

dozen more than what the Pentagon actually wanted, but Trump wanted them to have 94 instead

of 72, so we increased it.

Congress went along with it.

We gave them the money for planes that we don't need and the Pentagon didn't even want,

but healthcare for everyone, we can't afford that folks.

Sorry.

Why don't you go to your private insurer who is going to jack up your rates whenever you

get sick and may not even cover you next year because you got sick.

That's what's in the legislation that Republicans are actually currently working on.

Next time anyone tells you that a program proposed by a Democrat or any kind of pie-in-the-sky

let's fund something for everyone type legislation is just too expensive.

Use this argument against them.

That 700 billion dollars for one year of military operations.

If we can afford that, we can afford anything.

[LEARN OVERWATCH] Tracer Tricks You Didn't Know About - Duration: 2:08.

What's up team, Slay4Joy here!

In this video I'll show you some more Tracer tips and tricks

That are useful to know And worth practicing

The first thing I'm gonna show you Is what I call "recall punch"

I saw it on Mistakes's stream He was top 1 on EU servers

For a good period of time In season 5

And he's a Tracer main So, what you do here is

You blink in –melee –recall It might not look very useful at first

But it's a great way to finish low-health targets

with minimum risk And as a Tracer, you'll probably

find yourself lacking those 30dmg Very often

Let me show It again in slow motion You blink in

melee and recall instantly after that

The second one is a mind trick blink You blink behind the target

Quickly turn and click your mouse And then you blink to the side and finish

the clip To trick your opponent you have to blink

just a little to the side when blinking behind to control the direction he will move his

mouse when turning

Then when you shoot him you make him think That you're committing, and in some cases

make him use some useful ability But you're not there anymore, you're further

to the side In which he already turned

Not only it's hard to make 270 turn He will probably be confused because

You won't be where he'll expect And also, after blinking to the side

It's easier to finish the target because it will be moving in a more predictable

manner and not trying to strafe dodge your shots

And as I always say: always know where you're blinking

A lot of Tracers confuse themselves with their own blinks

And then miss their shots and don't get any advantage

From using them So you have to practice more

to become a real blink machine That'd be all with the video!

I hope you'll find a good use for the tricks I mentioned!

Subscribe to my channel for more Overwatch guides!

And don't forget to comment your thoughts and leave likes!

See you next time Goodbye!

YouTube Analytics Explained: The Strategy Tab of Morningfame - Duration: 3:51.

According to YouTube when it comes to creating a successful channel it's best to focus

on what your audience likes.

But how the heck do we know?

How?

By leveraging the Morningfame Strategy tab and that's what's coming up next.

You dig?

Brian G. Johnson here and on behalf of Nico and myself at Morningfame I wanna show you

the power of the strategy tab and how you can use it to really gain insights as far

as what's working on your channel and what's not.

Let's jump on the computer and take a look.

Check this out.

It comes from the YouTube Creator Academy.

Instead of worrying about what the algorithm likes it's better to focus on what your

audience likes instead.

If you do that and people watch, the algorithm will follow.

Well, my question is: What exactly is YouTube measuring?

What are the signals that YouTube looks for to identify if an audience indeed likes a

video?

And this is where Morningfame does tremendous.

So here we are on the Morningfame Strategy tab and I wanna draw your attention to these

four elements that are found in the channel comparison.

Views, watch time, engagement and gaining subscribers.

You don't only wanna focus on driving more views.

It's critically important to pay attention to views that convert viewers into subscribers.

And if we scroll down you'll see we've got a Growth Opportunities section.

It says "Your Growth Opportunities.

Create More of These."

And notice that these four elements are present once again.

This video is an excellent example of why.

Notice the video has driven 24 thousand views.

Like wow, I should do more of that, right?

And yet if we check out the analytics you'll notice that this particular video has only

gained 8 subscribers from the video watch page over the 24 thousand views.

However, check this video.

out.

This video has only driven 3,632 views and yet it's gained 13 subscribers.

And this is exactly how you can use this information to understand that it's not just about views.

It's about these four elements.

Specifically views, gained subscribers, increasing your watch time and driving engagement.

When you start to do that you will indeed grow your channel.

Not only does Morningfame identify which videos are driving growth on your channel it also

points out the videos that are not contributing to your overall growth.

And thus I know not to make these types of videos in the future.

Next, is the series section.

This is a measurement of how effective your playlists are at again driving the views,

increasing the watch time, engagement and most importantly gaining subscribers.

You can see that my "YouTube Algorithm" series is outperforming my "YouTube Success"

playlist series as well as the "Get More Views and Subscribers".

And lastly, we have the "Is Your Channel Growing?"

section.

And again we've got these four elements which ultimately these are the elements that

are very important that YouTube is looking at when deciding whether an audience likes

your videos.

So focus on these when you publish your next video and you are gonna do great.

So I'd love to know: How are you leveraging the power of Morningfame to gain insights

and grow your channel?

Leave me a comment below and I'll see you next time.

How To Ride Dusty Trails On Your MTB | Mountain Bike Skills - Duration: 3:57.

- In the heart of summer

bike park trails can become really dusty and blown out.

Whilst this is great fun for shredding

sometimes it can actually be really hard to ride.

The corners are blown out this much

you can't see, you can't see the rocks and stuff.

So with that in mind here's some of our best points

for how to to ride dusty bike park trails.

(laughter)

- Vision can get super difficult,

especially when you're on a trail with your buddies

and they're kicking up a lot of dust in front of you,

especially if you're at the back or in the mid-pack.

It can cause a lot of dust and hinder your vision

so you don't even know what's coming up,

you don't even see what the trail is.

So that can get a little bit dangerous

and cause you to crash in certain circumstances.

So a little tip is just hang back a bit, it's not a race.

Give it some time for that dust to settle

and you can see what's going on.

But if you're one person that kinda tends to stick on a tail

bit like me sometimes

a little bit of a tip is use your peripheral vision

take a look at the guy's tyre in front

and you can see what's coming.

So if his tire's bouncing about,

you know there's gonna be some rocks.

And even if they turn in thick dust

you know, right, follow that tyre.

- You gotta have the right protective gear

especially for your eyes because

if you're amongst the dust it's gonna get in your eyes

and you're gonna stop, you're gonna start crying

'cause it's all stuck in your eyes.

So having a correct pair of goggles

such like these ones

where they've all got foam inserts like that

keeps the dust out of your eyes

and you can be right in mid-pack

and your eyes are gonna be fine.

- Rock features like this

can be really grippy even when wet,

but as soon as there's a load of dust on it

it becomes like a very fine surface of marbles,

so you don't wanna be braking too much on the surface.

It's all about speed control just before,

and line choice.

As you can see here the natural line

that a lot of riders have taken

brings them quite close to the mud bank here I'm standing on

and because of that they're bringin' a lot of dust

down the trail which means it's really hard to brake on it.

So it's a bit about creative lines here,

Do your braking control when you're coming in

and bring yourself out a bit wider with this

note no dust or dirt on the rocks

so you've got a lot more traction for your braking control.

- This is a typical example of dry trails,

'specially when it comes to berms such like this one

where there's a lack of water around.

They start to crumble up just like this

which causes it to get super slippery

on such a hard surface just like that.

You see these two holes?

These are called braking bumps.

(high-pitched scream)

This is the place where most all the people tend to brake

which causes these holes and causes a lot of loose stuff

which is gonna add a bit of a problem in the turn

and make it a bit more slippery.

so what you wanna do is brake before the turn

and come in with some speed,

but don't brake in these holes

'cause it's gonna push you into that loose stuff.

Also get a little bit more creative.

I don't wanna hit these two little braking holes

so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna come in high

and catch the last bit of the bump

so I mess these two up.

- Fast straights like this can

become really hard work when they're mega-dusty like this.

This is only a blue trail.

This in on B-Line at Whistler.

But our problem is as soon as you come up to speed

you'll start railing toward the outside of these turns

and you can't really brake heavily,

so it's more about fine speed control, watch your braking.

You just wanna be feathering those brakes

to keep a check on things.

When it comes to actual braking

you wanna find the straightest points of trail.

You don't wanna be braking on any of these turns

just on the outside here.

As you're brakin' you wanna make sure you dip those heels,

you keep all your weight through your hips.

Lean back slightly, and then brake evenly.

You don't wanna jab at those brakes

or pull anything too hard.

- So there you go.

There's our five top tips on how to

master dusty trails out there on the bike park.

But, if you wanna know more bike park skills,

to wear at a bike park click down here.

Q&A: GET TO KNOW JAMIE! - Duration: 14:43.

Hi guys!

So yesterday, I took my Step 2 and today is my free day and I wanted to make a video for

you guys.

I know there has been a lot of new subscribers so I thought it would be a really good time

to do a get to know me video.

So I'm gonna answer some questions from snapchat and instagram.

If you guys aren't following me already you can follow me at THESTRIVETOFIT on instagram

and snapchat and you can follow me along for Q&As and random life happenings there.

We'll start with some snapchat questions.

The first question is...

Question: Hello!

I was wondering if you had any siblings?

Yes, I do have one older brother.

He is 13 months older than me and he is in finance.

Question: Who's your favorite Grey's Anatomy character?

Okay, so I don't have a favorite character on Grey's Anatomy.

I think everyone is very different.

Everyone has there pros and cons but someone on Instagram did ask me McSteamy vs. McDreamy

and I would have to say McSteamy.

Question: Hey Jamie!

It's Sevina.

Me and my new study buddy Lumos, just want to know how many countries have you visited

and what's your favorite restaurant in New York?

Thank You!

I travelled a lot when I was younger but I haven't been to that many countries as an

adult so I think I would have to do a little more traveling to answer that question properly.

Favorite restaurant in New York City is Flex Mussels, which has two locations, I think

in the city.

It's like a Mussels specialty restaurant and they have the best bread and the best truffle

fries.

Highly recommend.

Next Question!

Question: Hey Jamie!

Love your videos.

I have one question.

If you can only watch one TV show for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?

If I had to choose, it would have to be Sex and The City just because I love that it's

about The City, the relationships, and friendships, and career, and love, and it's just so may

facets of life and it's like a very funny stylish show so I think I would have to pick

that one!

Alright, next question.

Question: Hi Jamie!

I was wondering what your gym routine was like and if you keep some kind of split schedule

or not?

I recently got into running and I am potentially training for a half marathon so I'm following

this training program from Nike Run Club which has me running three times a week so that's

been by main focus of working out right now.

I do still go to the gym to lift.

There is this workout called push/pull and it basically ends up being like a full body

workout each time so that's the workout that I'm doing at the gym.

So next I'm gonna do questions from Instagram.

Let's see.

The first question I'm gonna is What is your favorite season?

My favorite season is Spring.

That's more of a reflection of my least favorite season which is winter.

But I like that in spring you get to look forward summer.

Next question is: What was your favorite subject in high school?

My favorite subject in high school was probably band.

I was a big band geek.

I did marching band and all that so I really enjoyed band and I also enjoyed fashion design,

which was like an elective that I took senior year.

That was super fun.

Next question: Where did you get Candy and how long have you had her?

I adopted Candy from a shelter.

It was one of those events at PetCo.

I adopted her in 2007 and she was like a new born baby then show she is about 10 years

old now.

And she's my best friend.

Next question: What is my favorite starbucks drink?

I keep it pretty simple.

So if I'm getting coffee I get an iced skimmed latte.

If I'm getting a non-coffee I'll either get regular unsweetened green tea or I'll get

the strawberry acai refresher.

I like that.

Question: Are you ambidextrous?

So funny story.

I was born left-handed so I used to do everything left handed but in Korea and in a lot of other

cultures it's kinda frowned upon to be left handed so my mom trained me to write with

my right hand so I pretty much do everything with my right hand now.

But there are certain things I do better with my left hand, like using scissors and this

was interesting because when I was in surgery rotation, I would cut with my left hand and

they'd be like... what are you doing??

You can't do that.

So they're like you have to train to cut with your right hand until you're surgeon yourself

and if you're the main surgeon then you can set up the table however you want.

So if you're a left handed surgeon things are set up a little differently.

But now I can cut with both hands.

So that's good.

Somebody asked: What is your current favorite TV series?

I would have to say it's Insecure from HBO.

It's super funny.

Really smart.

Great show!

Next question.

What was the craziest injury you have ever had yourself?

So thankfully I've never had crazy injuries in my life.

I've never broken a bone, never had to get stitches.

I think the closest I ever came to getting stitches was couple weeks ago I was cutting

bread and then I kinda sliced through my finger and my nail.

It was like and I looked at it and it was like at the border of needing a stitch or

not.

I decided not to get it and it still closed up okay.

That's honestly the most serious injury that I've ever had.

Knock on wood.

Somebody asked: If you can have any super power what would it be?

It would be the ability to teleport because that would save so much time and money.

You can just go anywhere in the world.

You can live anywhere and just appear at your job.

You can skip all the public transportation and flying and airports and all that and I

think that's awesome.

Somebody asked: This is not really a get to know you question, but where did you get that

awesome blanket?

I think this blanket is what she's talking about.

This blanket is from Etsy.

There's a lot of different stores that sell it.

You just type in chunky knit blanket.

You can find this blanket in lots of different colors and sizes.

Alright Let's do more from Snapchat.

Hey can you please tell us your the day before the exam routine?

Thank you!

You guys know I took my step 2 yesterday and that's a pretty big exam.

It was about 8 hours long.

Including break it was close to 9 hours.

A lot of you guys asked what I do the day before or how I prep for a big exam.

I also vlogged a little bit the day before my exam to show you guys what I do, so I will

play this right now.

I'm completely soaked!

Not because I ran some crazy mileage but because it was raining as soon as I started running.

It was like drizzling and then once I got to half point it started to really rain down

but then I had to come back anyway.

So I'm just completely drenched.

I'm gonna shower and check-in with you guys.

Hey guys!

So I'm back.

So today is the day before my big exam.

Tomorrow is gonna be my step 2 board exam.

I think really the day before exam, it's important to kind of be in a good mental, physical,

emotional space, which is why I went for a run.

I was starting to feel a little antsy about my exam and I think running or working out

or even getting like massage is a really great way to get your mind off things, relax, and

just prepare yourself for tomorrow.

Tomorrow, my exam is gonna be like 8 hours.

So I have to be relaxed.

I have to get a good night's sleep.

That's really important to me.

So I'm doing everything I can to achieve that tonight.

So I went for a quick 2.5 mile run.

Like I said before it started raining pretty heavily midway through, and I was completely

soaked.

But I feel pretty good now that I've ran.

Before going for a run I was kinda doing very light casual studying--so that's going over

some wrong questions from practice exams.

Doing some light reading but not really freaking out about things that I might not know or

things that I know I don't know.

It's impossible to know everything before the exam so keeping it casual, keeping it

light but still making good use of my time today.

So that's what I've been doing and that's what I'm gonna continue to do for the rest

of the day.

Just wanna quickly show you guys what I have for tomorrow in terms of snack.

Hi Candy you always know when I'm filming cause you always wanna be in the videos.

So I have uncrustables.

Theses you can find in the freezer aisle.

I really like these to because you don't have to worry about... first of all you don't have

to make the pb&j.

It's already made for you.

You keep in the freezer.

You take it out in the morning and by the time eating it around 11-12 it's like nice

and defrosted and ready to be eaten.

So I like these a lot.

Also got some nut packets.

These are 100 calorie packs.

I'm not really like worried about calories or macro breakdown tomorrow.

Obviously you can see that it's mostly carbs but basically I want something thats gonna

give me quick energy but still a little bit of protein and fats too keep me full and sustained

for the whole day.

I have these 100 calorie packs, I have some bananas, this is more like emotional food.

I never let myself get whoppers or candy at the grocery store but I think during the exam,

you just wanna have something to look forward to so I think having like your favorite candy

is there is fine.

And powerade for just to stay hydrated.

I'm also gonna bring my water bottle.

I may bring a can of monster--like the energy drink just in case I get super sleepy but

I may or may not drink it basically.

So the reason why I don't know if I'm gonna be drinking the Monster or not is because

your bathroom breaks are kinda limited as well.

These testing centers are very high security you can't just walk in and out as you wish.

Once you're in the computer area, in order to get to the computer area, you have to finger

print, you have to take your picture, they check your pockets, it's a long process so

you can't just in the middle of test say oh I gotta go to the bathroom, I'm gonna go.

You can't do that so you gotta take that into consideration when you're taking your breaks.

You can only go to the bathroom between your blocks not really during your blocks.

So that's why I don't know if I'm gonna be drinking my Monster or any kind of caffeinated

drink just yet because I know that, that will make me wanna go to the bathroom.

I'm bringing that as my last resort in case I get super sleepy and I need to stay awake

and then I'll drink it.

My camera is about to die.

Hold on!

Checking in here.

I just finished doing all my Anki cards for the day and I think that I'm gonna take rest

of the night off and try to relax before my exam tomorrow.

In continuation of just prepping for a big exam the next day, I recommend, putting all

paperwork together and all your IDs and everything else you need to bring to the test center

and also bringing earplugs if you need them or if you normally use them.

If you don't it's a just in case you may want them and checking with the testing center

policy on what you can bring into the test center and the computer area.

For me, Step 1 testing center allowed me to bring just regular ear plugs so I'm bringing

those tomorrow as well.

And another really important thing is what you're gonna wear.

So it's super important to be comfortable when you're taking a big exam, the last thing

you wanna be doing is thinking about how cold you are or how hot you are.

I recommend bringing layers, short sleeves, and a long sleeve and maybe even like a sweatshirt

or a zip up that you can bring so that you're not distracted thinking about how cold you

are.

That's happened to me multiple times in taking shelf exams.

Sometimes the building is not temperature controlled and I end up freezing I'm super

distracted and I'm not as focused as I can be.

So that's another recommendation of mine.

I think that's pretty much it and I think it's really important to schedule something

fun that you can do after the exam so you can really look forward to it.

For me, I'm gonna be going out to dinner with my boyfriend.

My testing center is right around K-town so I'm hoping to go maybe eat some Korean BBQ

after and I know I'll be starving after the exam so I can't wait to do that.

For tonight, I'm gonna head to bed early, and probably... it's 7 o'clock right now..

so maybe around 10 or 11 is probably when I'm gonna go to sleep and then until then

I'm just gonna watch TV, probably order pizza or something and just hang out.

I will talk to you guys later.

Alright so I'm going to end the Q&A session here.

I hope that was enjoyable for you guys.

As always, you guys can follow me on Instagram, Twitter and Snapchat at THESTRIVETOFIT and

I can't wait to do another Q&A session with you guys.

I will see you guys in the next video.

Byeee!

Top 10 Alternate Versions Of Dr. Robotnik - Duration: 5:22.

Alternate versions of Dr. Robotnik Hey guys!

Welcome back to Top 10 Gaming, Iím Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

And hey, before you start scrolling through the comments, maybe stop off and thumbs up

and subscribe to the channel.

Thatíd be swell.

Anywsay, Dr. Robotnik, or ìEggmanî is THE villain of the Sonicverse, be it games or

comics or shows or, I dunno, Ice Cream.

And just like Sonic, this guy isnít always the same.

You wanted more versions from the Sonic universe, and Iím here to make that wish come true.

So get ready, itís time for the Top 10 Alternate Versions of Dr. Robotnik!

Number 10: Ivanna Robotina.

We didnít see this version a ton, but itís so rare to find a female version of Eggman

that I felt I should include it.

Because itís justÖ itís not pretty.

She comes from the Luna Zone, acting as the enemy of Sally Moon.

Sound familiar?

Yep, this is the Zone based on Sailor Moon characters, with Ivanna seemingly acting as

the counterpart to Queen Beryl.

This is actually one of the coolest versions of Robotnik though, because instead of roboticizing

her enemies like Robotnik, she changes people into Monsters.

And monsters are just way cooler than robots.

Sorry not sorry.

Number 9: Robo-Robotnik.

Mechanical versions of Sonic can make him look pretty badass.

But the robot version of Eggman isÖ well, itís not exactly fear inspiring.

Itís like Tik Tok from Return to Oz meets Darth Vadar.

Yo.

Check out that reference.

Bet ya donít see many return to Oz references huh?

Iím watching it tonight.

Where was I?

Oh yeah, Robo-Robotnik comes from an alternate universe where he turned the Freedom Fighters

into cyborgs.

Then they turned on him.

And he turned himself into a cyborg.

Then he beat them and forced Cyborg Sonic to go get help.

So yeah, Robo-Robotnik is pretty sick.

http://archiesonic.wikia.com/wiki/Robo-Robotnik_v1.0 Number 8: Warden Zobotnik.

Warden Zobotnik comes from the No Zone, where heís in charge of the Zone Jail.

He isnít on the best of terms with Zonic, but apparently he does a decent job.

Most of the time.

Zonic is one of the most popular versions of Sonic, and Zobotnik is a pretty interesting

version of Eggman.

Itís fun to see him actually in a different position, even if heís still kind of a jerk.

Number 7: Eggman Boom.

Eggman Boom is, obviously, the Robotnik from Sonic Boom.

He actually looks a lot more normal, with his egg shape being essentially turned upside

down, making him kinda look like The Iron Sheik with goggles.

And, ya know, without the keffiyeh on his head (keFEEyeh).

And wearing a shirt.

K he doesnít look THAT much like him, whatever.

Whatís nice about this version, though, is that heís a lot more laid back and funny,

similar to his personality in Sonic X.

At least, until he builds another robot to kill them all.

Number 6: Eggman with Eyes.

The 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog game was, well, it wasnít the best.

It was pretty glitchy, with long load times and a weird plot, which resulted in it being

panned by reviewers.

For me though, the worst part is the realistic portrayal of Eggman.

Most of the time itís okay, if a bit strange.

But the thing is, they made it so that you can see his eyes behind the glasses from certain

angles.

http://bit.ly/2f19eK9 NO!

I DONíT WANT TO SEE HIS EYES!

THAT ISNíT RIGHT.

IT JUST ISNíT RIGHT.

STOP IT.

Number 5: Sloptor OíSlopnik.

This is the version of Eggman from YouTube series Blonic.

Here he takes on such totally original characters as ìBlonicî and ìBlucklesî.

Now we didnít actually see Eggman in the videos, since the heroes were too distracted

arguing about whether or not theyíre actually Sonic and Knuckles or totally original characters,

but the creator of the videos drew him on stream once.

And he looks like this.

Number 4: Robolactus.

Hereís one for the comic book fans, fittingly coming from the Archie comics.

If you couldnít tell from the name, Robolactus is an amalgamation of Dr. Robotnik and Galactus,

the planet devouring being from Marvel Comics.

Yes, heís awesome.

Yes, heís huge.

And yes, he still has a silver henchmanÖ but he isnít quite as badass as the surfer.

Because heís Silver Snively.

Right when you thought Snively couldnít be any more unsettlingÖ

Number 3: Anti Robotnik.

Back to the Archie Sonic comics for this one, there are so many great versions from those

comics.

Dr. Ivo Kintobor is the good version of Robotnik, coming from the Antiverse, a world where the

personalities of the main characters are largely swapped.

The Freedom Fighters become the Anti Freedom Fighers, or the Suppression Squad, while Eggman

is actually a super nice guy who runs a hospital.

Is he as cool as evil Eggman?

Probably not.

But itís a nice change.

Although the skinny thing is totally jarring.

Number 2: SatAM Eggman.

In the Saturday morning Sonic show, Eggman departed from his usual kinda angry kind silly

kinda funny thing and just went straight up bad guy.

Although pretty much every kids show from the 90s had that kind of bad guy; Sonic, Inspector

Gadget, Care BearsÖ you need a villain with a scary, gravelly voice.

But this one was pretty great, as far as the super evil Robotniks go.

Plus he was voiced by Jim Cummings, who was also the voice ofÖ well, pretty much everyone

in every show ever.

Jim Cummings is the man.

But he has a funny name.

Number 1: Sonic X Eggman.

The Eggman from the Sonic X Comics is widely viewed as one of the best and most fleshed

out versions, and I canít help but agree.

This version is out for approval from the public, and actually ends up reforming quite

a bit.

Heís pretty friendly with both Sonic and his robots, and ends up becoming such a good

dude that Sonic kinda has to push him back towards villainy just so he has someone to

fight.

Plus he was a Mexican wrestler.

And a good one.

Which is amazing.

Thatís it for today!

Life After Birth (A Genuine Prodigy) - OAH Productions - Duration: 2:21.

Two babies are discussing in a mother's womb.

Hey twin, do you believe in life after delivery?

Of course I do, why ?

There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we're here just to prepare ourselves for what we'll be later.

Nonsense there is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?

I don't know but....

There will be more light than here. Maybe we could walk with our legs,

eat with our mouths...

Maybe we will have other senses that we can't understand now.

You've completely lost your mind. Walking is impossible and eating with our mouths ?

Ridiculous. The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need but it is so short.

Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.

Well, I think there is something and it may be different than it is here.

Maybe we won't need this physical cord anymore...

That is absurd. And moreover, if there is life,

Then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life and in the after delivery,

There is nothing but darkness Silence and oblivion.

It takes us nowhere...

Well, I don't know about that.

But we'll certainly meet Mother and She will take care of us.

Mother ? You actually believe in Mother ?

That's laughable.

If mother exists, then where is She now ?

She's all around us.

We are surrounded by her.

It is in her that we live

And without her,

This world would not, and could not exist.

Well, I don't see her, so it is only logical that she does not exist.

You know what?

Sometimes when you're in Silence, you focus and you really listen, you can perceive her presence

And you can hear her loving voice

Calling down from above.

The Fixies ★ The Oven Plus More Full Episodes ★ Fixies English | Cartoon For Kids - Duration: 11:43.

Can you believe that Fixies are Such itty-bitty creatures?

Even when they're magnified It's hard to see their features.

They're tiny, infinitesimal, So small it makes you doubt.

But if you meet a Fixie, please, Don't let their secret out!

The Oven

Now here he is! Our death defying acrobat!

Nolik, don't!

I'm not Nolik! I'm an acrobat!

- You're going to fall. - I'm not going to!

Mm-hmm. I see.

Every single time with him it's the same old story:

he gets himself into trouble, and I have to get him out of it.

No-no-no! I'm falling!

Hold on!

I'm just joking!

Nolik, you're a knucklehead!

Simka! Toola!

We're down here!

Look who's in trouble this time, heh?

This isn't funny at all!

Need some help?

We can mange this ourselves!

Right, Toola?

Well, alright then. See you later!

We've got to get out of here!

Tom Thomas' mom is coming!

Hide!

Hi, Tom Thomas!

Hi, Nolik!

Are you up for a ride?

Because this train is leaving the station!

Nice place.

It's the oven!

It's beautiful in here. And not hot at all.

Splendid!

It isn't hot right now,

because it only started warming up.

An oven is a cabinet with a heater.

It can get so hot inside that it will roast whatever's in there.

As a matter of fact, that's what ovens are for.

People roast meat inside of them it and bake things too.

Some ovens burn gas for heat,

and others use electricity.

They have special electric coils that get red-hot

and heat everything that's inside the oven.

So be careful around ovens!

A hot oven can burn you very badly!

It really is getting so hot!

We've got to get out of this oven right away!

Simka, we're about to get roasted in here!

Yeah! Inside of a fresh baked fixie cake.

I don't want to!

You think I do?

Here, grab on tight!

This way!

Be careful! You'll fall off!

Oh, your just like Simka!

She told me the same thing, and then she was the one who fell.

Right into the batter!

Together with Toola.

What? They both fell in the dough?

Oh yeah! And they're probably still stuck in there too!

Tom Thomas, the cake is fresh out of the oven.

Do you want to try some?

Where could they be, huh?

I don't know.

Maybe they're inside the cake.

They could've turned into screws.

We've got to find them!

Hey, what are you doing?

Eat! Stop playing!

Hey, watch out!

You could break your teeth!

The first ovens in ancient homes were nothing more than simple fire pits

where people cooked on hot coals.

Later on, the stove was invented.

Every house had a stove made out of stone, clay, or cast iron.

People would burn wood or coal in them.

These stoves produced enough heat to make soup or bake a cake.

And then in the 19th century the gas stove was invented.

Gas stoves are much more practical than wood-burning stoves.

One second and the gas is burning,

a few more minutes and the water is boiling.

They're very convenient, but they they can also be dangerous,

Because if the pipes aren't in a good condition, there can be an explosion!

Today there are also stoves and ovens that run with electricity.

They use electric heating elements for frying,

boiling, or baking foods without fire at all.

Tom Thomas!

I think you'll explode!

But it's so incredibly good!

I just can't stop eating it!

Keep chewing Tom Thomas!

That's as much as I can chew.

Hey, what are you guys up to?

Uh... up to?

We're trying to save you!

You're not in the cake?!

Then how come I was eating all of this?

I hate cake!

Uh, maybe it's because that's what good friends do.

Yeah, he's a good friend, who's got a really good appetite!

They take care of our machines, Irons, phones, and toasters,

MP3s and TV screens, Even rollercoasters!

Without them clocks stop ticking; Without them lights go out!

But if you meet a Fixie, please, Don't let their secret out!

The Elevator

Papus, Masiya, we gotta hurry!

How come?!

Tom Thomas is going to see the circus!

And what?

We want to go with him! Can we?

The answer is no!

Just you kids, without supervision?

Who said no supervision?

His parents are taking him there.

We'll be careful. Don't worry.

They won't even notice us.

Well, if Tom Thomas' parents will be there…

- Hurrah! - Hurrah!

We can go!

Wait a second! I didn't even say, "Yes"… yet.

Yeah.

Simka, Nolik, where are you?

We've got to hurry up!

- Tom Thomas, it's time to go! - I'll be right there!

We're ready!

Climb into my hood.

I know who's going to the circus today!

Woah!

What just happened?

I think that the elevator broke down!

Don't you worry!

Emergency operator.

We got stuck in the elevator!

Understood. Please wait.

We'll have the elevator fixed within the hour.

That long?!

That means we won't get to the circus on time.

Tom Thomas, we'll go get Papus and Masiya!

I'm sure they can fix it.

People need elevators to help them get to the upper floors of tall buildings.

When someone steps into an elevator and presses a button,

the elevator's electrical engine starts up.

It pulls the cable that is attached to the elevator cabin,

and the elevator goes to the desired floor.

The cable hangs over a wheel,

and it usually has a heavy counterbalancing weight attached to the other end of it.

This counter weight balances the elevator

and helps the electric motor do its job.

I wonder what the reason is?

I think I see something over there that got stuck!

Looks like you found the reason!

We got to go and fix it now or we'll never get to the circus on time!

You know, we can just have it right here!

Ladies and gentlemen!

Presenting the Fixies Spectacular!

And now your attention please on the high wire!

Woah!

Just don't look down!

Then I'll close my eyes and I won't look anywhere at all.

And now we bring you, our very own aerial gymnasts!

Tideesh!

Tideesh!

Our next act - feats of strength!

It won't come out!

I know how to fix it!

With a death-defying circus act. Point your eyes up!

Masiya, where are you going?

Up to the electric motor!!!

Do you know the right way to behave yourself inside of an elevator?

First of all, small children should never get into an elevator by themselves!

They should only go in with their parents or other adults they know well.

When getting on to an elevator,

the adult should always enter first, and then the child.

When it's time to get out, it's the other way around:

first the child leaves, and then the adult.

If you are taking a dog onto an elevator,

make sure its tail and leash are completely inside,

so they don't get stuck in the door.

And there's one more thing.

If the elevator suddenly stops for some unknown reason,

don't try to break out of it yourself!

Press the button that calls the emergency operator

and wait for help from the elevator repairmen...

or the fixies!

I reached the motor!!!

Turn it on!!!

Oh! They fixed it!

That was quick!

Now we'll make it on time.

There was no need to worry.

Stop!

It's way too high!

Tom Thomas went to the circus without us!

There's no need to get that upset, Nolik!

Our circus is as good as theirs.

Right, Papus?

Of course it is!

Thank you!!!

Thank you? To who?

What do you mean, "Who"?

The elevator repairmen!

In the joy of what Thou art

I am finding out the greatness

For, by Thy transforming power

Thou hast made me whole.

Jesus! I am resting, resting

In the joy of what Thou art

Lavished all on me

Know what wealth of grace is Thine

Know Thy certainty of promise

Schools | Mortgage Weekly | Sept 23rd, 2017 | Jason Roy | Edmonton Mortgage Broker - Duration: 2:46.

All right Mortgage Weekly time. So schools, importance of looking for a home in an

area where you can send your kids to school if you have kids or if you're

planning on having kids just speaking from a personal experience and the

difficulties that you don't always think are going to be difficult when it comes

to school either you're in the newer area like I am and the school is

overcrowded and the boundaries get changed

different grades get shuffled around and some kids are going to different schools

and then maybe those schools aren't the greatest and it's just a bit of a

difficult time when you've got kids in different schools and you got different

pickup times and drop-off times and it can be difficult or maybe you can't get

in at all or maybe your kids get separated from their friends somewhere

along the way so if you are for a place to move and moving to

different neighborhood or possibly you are staying in your neighborhood

definitely definitely look at the schooling options because once you're in

it's difficult to get out then you have to contemplate okay now we need to move

areas because schooling isn't working out so for me personally not something

that I thought would ever become such a big deal I knew possibly you know

sometimes schools get crowded and maybe it's a bit difficult but not that it

would turn into issue that you know that were currently facing right now and now

like I said we're contemplating that we need to move neighborhoods need to

change to the location and we got to start that search all over again and

based it around where can the kids go to school where can they continue to go to

school where would be high schools and that sort of stuff so add that to your

to-do list when your or your item list when you're looking at homes and

neighbourhoods and aren't just looking at the house itself but the school's

little dog wants to say hi where is it there he is

and what else going on so interest rates and not much little couple little rate

increases but nothing too exciting this week so that's about it hopefully it

warms up this weekend it's been a cold rainy week but anyway have a good weekend

either way and we'll talk to you next week ciao.
