Where are the Mascots of the Lillehammer 1994 Winter Olympics Today? | Flame Catchers - Duration: 5:02.

I went from going to school every day

and playing like a normal ten-year-old,

to doing all sorts of things like being on TV or radio.

We were part of the medal ceremony,

gave Gold and Silver

to another Norwegian. It was just miraculous.

(FLAME CATCHERS)

(LILLEHAMMER 1994 MASCOTS)

(OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES LILLEHAMMER 1994)

Part of the magic of Lillehammer '94

came straight from the pages of a fairy tale,

with children from all over the country

playing the roles of Haakon and Kristin,

the first ever time the Olympic mascots were real people.

Haakon was a Norwegian king of the 13th century.

(ELLEF PRESTAETER, "HAAKON" MASCOT, LILLEHAMMER 1994)

It seems Kristin was his aunt

and she was some kind of princess or royal figure.

What was special was they didn't want someone

with, like, an animal costume being a squirrel -

they wanted Norwegian kids

to perform these kind of semi-historical characters.

Some of the previous mascots were very different!

(SCNEEMANN THE SNOWMAN INNSBRUCK, 1976)

(RONI LAKE PLACID, 1980)

(VUČKO THE LITTLE WOLF SARAJEVO 1984)

(HIDY & HOWDY CALGARY 1988)

(MAGIQUE ALBERTVILLE, 1992)

(BRITT ELIN BJØRN, "KRISTIN" MASCOT, LILLEHAMMER 1994)

It was the year before the Olympics,

a paper was sent out to every primary school in Norway,

with an ad requiring mascots.

My sister told me to try it out, so she signed me up for it.

After a while, I got a letter...

..saying I got an audition.

So I went to that

and sang a song by Alf Prøysen

and they thought it was good and chose me.

It really turned my life around.

Up here, we were at the centre of something big

and we were basically just smiling and waving.

During the medal ceremony, we would perform a poem,

so that would be our main task

and then we'd give flowers to the winners.

Both Ellef and Britt Ellin remember particular

magical moments whilst playing Haakon and Kristin.

We are at the cross-country skiing stadium.

I was here on the first day of the competition

for the 30k men's race.

There was a lot of anticipation about this young contender

who was my hero, Thomas Alsgaard.

He was only 22 years old.

As it turns out, on the day, he outperformed everyone.

Then we were part of the medal ceremony,

gave him the Gold,

and it was just miraculous.

In the figure skating gala

all the participants dress up how they want...

..and create a real show, and Philippe Candeloro from France

dressed up as Rocky.

He did his show with a salto and it was really great.

The audience went crazy.

When he was done, I gave him flowers.

He knelt down and kissed me on the cheek.

The audience were cheering "Woohoo!"

Oh, I got one on the other side as well!

I was really happy.

It was really fantastic,

a really special moment.

It was a really big part of my life.

I'll never forget about it. Never.

A lot happened in a short amount of time

so it took some time to sink in.

I'm proud to have been involved.

The Olympic magic returned 22 years later

for the 2016 Winter Youth Olympic Games

and, again, the people of Lillehammer

got the chance to be involved.

(WINTER YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES LILLEHAMMER 2016)

A mascot was required,

and local girl Line Ansethmoen

jumped at the chance to show off her artistic talent.

My mum showed me the competition

and she wanted me to enter and I thought, why not?

(LINE ANSETHMOEN CREATOR OF "SJOGG" MASCOT, LILLEHAMMER 16)

It looked like fun and if I didn't get chosen or didn't win,

then no biggie!

I did a little bit of research before I decided what to draw,

I did sketch a fox, a moose,

a strange rodent,

but I felt like a lynx would suit

our fauna and nature quite well.

'Sjogg', meaning snow in Norwegian, was born!

I wanted him to look like an average teenager in a way,

so not really buff.

I made him sort of chubby, not too muscular,

really have the cat eyes.

It's like I was the mother or the creator of it.

I saw him on the buses and in the city, everywhere.

When I see him now,

I've kind of gotten used to seeing him around.

I hope he will last a while, so it's nice.

Without putting on any skis or skates,

Lillehammer '94 and 2016

changed Ellef, Britt Elin and Line's lives forever.

Pouya - FIVE FIVE [ALBUM REVIEW] - Duration: 5:49.

Hello again!

Today I'd like to talk with you about one of my favorite rappers in the American underground

scene.

In particular, this guy appears to be one of the authentic and influential figures in

contemporary rap scene due to the simple fact that it was he who significantly stimulated

the career growth of $uicideboy$, Fat Nick, Ghostemane and other young rappers coming

from the U.S.

To be hones, I never listened to his albums or mixtapes or whatever from beginning to

end because I'm that basic and I was only aware of the songs that have already been

uploaded on YouTube like his older "Get Buck", 41, Scrubs etc.

Therefore, now the time's come to review the latest album of this young fella.

Kevin Pouya better known simply as Pouya - an American Soundcloud rapper coming from Florida,

as I recall correctly.

He's mostly famous for his authentic and original voice that you cannot mistake for somebody

else's and for being one of the pioneers in new-school rap music, which was highly inspired

by Bone Thugs' and Three-Six Mafia's music.

Similar to Bones and Xavier Wulf in California, Pouya would start merging the triplet flow,

trap-style instrumentals with depressive, dark and even suicidal lyrics, which was fundamentally

new back in 2012-2013.

With this new record titled "Five Five", Pouya attempts to be distinctive among the other

Soundcloud rappers who have simply turned into mumble-rap BS; at the same time, he still

tries to maintain his position as one of the pioneers of new-school rap.

The title and the album cover speak for themselves because Five Five is the exact height of Pouya

(5 feet, 5 inches) and the Cadillac on the back of the cover serves as a direct reference

to his anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts.

In particular, it is a clear reference to his previous track "Suicidal thoughts at the

back of the Cadillac", and a certain follow-up for this track is present at the record's

end with the Part 2 of this track.

Anyway, having listened to the record and having followed Pouya on social media, it

appears rather obvious to state that this album is the manifestation of his feelings

and emotions towards the world around him, towards the people surrounding him and towards

the contemporary rap scene.

Certainly, we've seen such approach in many other albums; however, what makes this album

different is Pouya's own perspective and his own background.

The lyrics of the album are also self-explanatory and don't require additional transcription,

interpretation or decoding.

Or it's just me who sees the meaning of the lyrics initially.

I'm also glad that Pouya tried not to follow the simple trap-style pattern and write lyrics

in order to sell the album better; instead, it was mostly old-school type lyricism, which

extensively includes double-rhyme patterns and various rhythmic shifts.

At the same time, I do find the continuous use of the same themes expressed in the lyrics

more and more duller towards the end of the record because I do feel like Pouya says the

same things again with the same words.

But, that's maybe just me.

I still find the lyrics very decent for contemporary rap album.

Instrumentals have been fully composed by Mikey the Magician - one of the guys composing

beats for Pouya just like for other members of Buffet Boys.

I really cannot say something negative about the instrumentals, as they sound right on

the record.

At the same time, I don't find something "wow" in them or something to admire.

From completely musical standpoint, the hooks have been performed really great but only

in the first half of the album.

I really enjoyed the hooks of the first two tracks, "Aftershock" and "Void".

Still, the level of excitement was declining similar to my feelings towards the lyrics.

By the end of the album, track "Suicidal thoughts at the back of the Cadillac 2" sounds rather

dull and boring compared to the opening tracks and to the first part of the track, which

I really liked.

To my personal opinion, the instrumentation lacked some alternative emotional vibe to

balance the depressive lyrics.

Maybe it was worth considering more aggressive, more upbeat and faster beats, maybe more frightening

and horrific like in the songs of $uicideboy$.

What do I mean?

I mean that it would be more complex and more interesting to listen to depressive lyrics

performed on aggressive beat like it was on "1000 rounds" with Ghostemane, for example.

Still, I find the record as a decent interpretation of sad stories of life surrounding Pouya,

of his worries about his girlfriend fighting cancer, about his frustration towards the

modern rappers trying to use his stylistic achievements in music etc.

It's decent but I really wish that Pouya would come up with something more complex in sound

and conceptual delivery.

For now, 3,5 out of 5.

My creative highlights in March ǀ Monthly favorites ǀ Justine Leconte - Duration: 10:02.

Hi everyone, it's Justine. I'm in the process of creating the next collection

and I observe myself craving extra inspiration to feed that process, and

I'm really consuming books, movies, podcasts, blog articles etc. And every time

I think I have to tell them about this because it's so good then I forget... and I

don't want that to happen anymore so I'm starting a kind of new series on this

channel: today is the first episode, you can call

this monthly favorites, creative highlights, that's the working title so

far but feel free to suggest better titles in the comments below. It's gonna

be a bit of a mix of everything. every time I will do my best to link below

where to find that book, watch that movie, further readings, everything that helps

you find the source I'm talking about. but in the video, I want to focus on why

I liked that thing and what I learned. my goal it is that in each video, every

month, you find at least one thing that you enjoy and want to hear or read as

well: if that works, then I did a good job.

You might have heard of Garance Doré: she's a French fashion blogger, she started in

2006 with street style, very early bird. I like what she does a lot, she's now also

an illustrator. a photographer, a very creative head, a very inspiring woman.

she also has a podcast that is called "pardon my french" a very fitting title I

find. on that podcast, she has guests come over, top-notch creative people like

brilliant minds. she knows everyone, she gets Diane von Fürstenberg, she gets

Sophia Amoruso, she gets all the fashion beauty and lifestyle editors you can

think of, like really really inspiring people. and they just sit down together

for about an hour and have a casual chat: about the creative world, how fashion has

evolved very interesting titles, and very little gets edited out which I enjoy a

lot. in the latest episode she had Ezra Petronio as a guest: he's an art director

and also the founder of Self-Service magazine, which is in my opinion hands

down one of the best magazines, focused on fashion but more than this, like on

creative arts in general. it's not sold much in in press stores but you can

subscribe to it. what they do is absolutely unique, I love that magazine.

and the podcast as well. So double recommendation :-) My next highlight this

month is a big book called "the art of collage, contemporary collage in modern

art" (edition Gestalten). it's a very thick book but a very pretty one. collage is

not considered as good or as cool as painting or photography, for some reason.

I don't understand why because I think it's really hard to create a truly

artistic collage since we're using pre-made, existing elements. creating

something unique out of existing stuff is very challenging! the book is

very well structured and very pretty. you have, for each artist, a page with the

explanation of the background, the method, the origin and samples of his or her

work. look at that. really really cool. Another style, completely different: this

one which I love - there are people who work with comics people who draw on top...

it's still a pretty new field where the rules are not really defined. we don't

pay as much attention to collage as artists but actually kids do that

completely intuitively, it's interesting. now when I see a photo, I think what

could I paste or draw on top of it? The next one is more business-oriented: it's

an audio book that you can find on Audible for instance: "High performance

habits" by Brendan Burchard. I'll write it in the description. his

theory is: there is no age, country, gender, race, or anything that pre-defines how

successful you can be in your life. he says it's all about the habits that you

train and habits can be learned... through practice. I like that he uses many

figures to support what he's saying and he has worked as a coach and as a

researcher for many years so it looks like proper research. one thing that blew

my mind in this audiobook is this: when I work, I

feel that I'm achieving something, that I'm performing well when I push myself

beyond the limit, when I stretch myself. after each high

phase, I need a low phase to recover physically and mentally from the high

phase. so I I go up and down like this a lot in my process.

what he says is: high performers don't ever feel stretched while performing

brilliantly, so their behavior is a lot more sustainable than mine, and they

thrive over time without needing those breaks that I need to take. and I thought

oh I didn't know! really new info! and I listened to that book in a weekend,

taking notes. it's not an audio book that you listen to just like that you're

focused on it and you take notes. In Berlin, I recently went to an exhibition

of designs by Versace: not the sister who's running the house now, Gianni

Versace, the brother. In the 90s, I think he was the first star designer, like a

pop star, and that was before the internet and before Instagram. In the

20th century, designers have been suppliers, it wasn't cool, they were

handcraft people and they were suppliers of the rich and Noble. the iconic

designers of the 20th century have actually been turned into icons later on,

for marketing purposes, not at the time when they were actually active. So Gianni

Versace is an exception. He created ready-to-wear and was famous for his

bright prints on silk. he used symbols from Greece, you might

know that, like the lion or the head of Medusa.

he made references to theater performance a lot.

He staged his models and his life in an impressively luxurious and public way. you could have held a

fashion show (or three at the same time) in his house, absolute luxury. he

created and made the supermodels of the 90s, like Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni,

Linda Evangelista etc. he also created couture garments: the number of hours

spent beading didn't matter that was called "Atelier Versace". if you couldn't

sit in a skirt because it was too tight or too short, it didn't matter

either. it was an interesting time for fashion and a very extravagant character.

I will link down below in the description a documentary about Versace

that was shown during the exhibition and that is hosted

online. Now a great little novel to take with you on holiday: "the sacred night"

(La nuit sacrée) by Tahar Ben Jelloun. He won the Goncourt price with that book. which

is the equivalent of the american Pulitzer prize. It is a nonlinear story

so it's the story of a woman to whom random things happen, just like life is

random: you start here, you meet someone, it takes you there. something else

happens, you end up there. and wonder how. it's a fantastic book so not everything

that happens in there is realistic possible or pretty, but that's why I

liked it. I prefer fantastic fiction to reality fiction, I think it sparks the

imagination more. If you like Paulo Coelho, for instance, I think you will

like this book too. Then a documentary movie called "He named me Malala": you

probably heard of her in the press everywhere in the world, it's that girl

from Pakistan, from a region where one day a Taliban group arrived. little by

little, they restrained liberties, worked on people's minds to change the culture, up

to the day when they said: girls should not be allowed to go to school at all.

she spoke up and was shot in the head as a punishment. but she survived, she was

transferred to England, recovered completely and eventually became a huge

spokesperson for girls right to education and for liberty in general. she

won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014, she was not even 20. what I learned in

this movie was... it wasn't an accident that she got shot, she was a symbol

already. her grandfather was a public speaker, her father also, and he had taken

a stand against the Taliban group. so she was actually born in a household, in a

family, where she learned to build her own opinion and that's a really strong

message. the movie is super interesting. if you look for it on streaming

platforms, you'll find it. that's it for this month I think that's enough

inspiration for a couple of nice weekends. I'd like to use these

monthly meetings this video to start a new routine together with you:

I shared my highlights. now if you read, listen to or watch any of these, please

let me know in the comments below how you like them... and also tell me your own

highlights. that can be something you read, heard, saw somewhere or something

you did, everything counts. the more mixed it is, the better the list will be. To

help me find your suggestions in the comments, please add a hashtag:

#creativehighlights so I can find your comments more easily. and that's it. we'll

see how this new routine goes. next month, I will share a mix of my highlights and

yours. it will make the list richer and I hope this will become a kind of monthly

meetup between us! Thumbs up if you enjoyed this video, thank you very much!

and don't forget to subscribe to my channel to get the next videos, usually

every Wednesday and Sunday, so see you very soon again, take care, bye!

JJRC H37 Mini Baby Elfie Selfie Drone Maintenance Guide With Full Disassembly And Assembly - Duration: 17:51.

hello everybody welcome to a new episode of how to diy rc hope you like what to see and subscribe

and in today's episode is all about JJRC H37 maintenance to keep it in top

condition to get the best quality pictures and video from your

selfie drone before we going to test the vibration of this little drone you have

to make sure that your nuts and screws in this case of the propellers are tight

so you don't lose and during the test and maybe hit your eye there will be very

dangerous so you do this for all four motors and you check

if they're nice and secure then we can go ahead and start the test and the

first way you can know this if a motor is going bad is by hearing it the makes

more noise and I'm when you can hear that one motor at least one motor is

making a lot more noise so that's not a good sign but it's perfectly for this

video to show you how to check it and fix the common problem and get a good

video quality the second way is by touch and eye so you're going to start the

motors and feel its propeller its arm and then compare it with the next and

see which one is give you more vibration

oh this one in the rear is giving me a lot of vibration but I can also see by

eye that this propeller is not straight it's just wobbling around from left to

right it is the second way that you can check your propellers

let's looking from above and see if the nut on this case the screw is centered

and you can see it wobbling it a little bit when you check it from above and you

check it sideways and you have to see a look if you can see one propeller

spinning in the air if you see in two blades that means the propeller is out

of balance and it's shut fix the propeller or the gear or the motor to

get it you can see the wobble that is really bad

that creates extra vibrations and jello towards the camera that you don't want

and to fix the problem of the drone we first want to have to power it off and

remove the battery just to be safe so you don't set fire to the circuit

board and destroy your quadcopter now that's safe to look on the Quad first

always going to remove the propellers and

have removed all four propellers it's time to get a magnet so you're not going

to lose all these tiny screws and you can place them in order of disassembly

so you know how to put them back and into its place you have to put a back

because it's a chance you will find different lengths of screws that will

fit in one place now just go ahead and just undo every screw you can find in

this case there are four screws on each side in front and in the rear and

there's two screws in the middle that I think holds the whole body together and

there's the last screw so let's take them apart but be gentle and that's

one side coming loose and just gently poke up the other side many screws are

still tight then just undo them a little bit more hire it comes

look at that there's a pretty strange flight controller normally it's small on this time

and straight and long but it's nice balance out the quadcopter it's little

bit heavier on the backside but having a battery in the middle that's a nice

thing all the wires are here pretty compact look at the build quality hmm so

long job is not the best but not seeing anything we'll weird

it looks pretty okay but I don't like this mess of wires here at the front

those are a lot of wires just bundled together but now that we have removed

the upper body we can easily remove the arms out of its case but be careful also

that is not click on a click off but now at least we can disassemble each arm and

check for any problems and it was this propeller that was shaking a lot

wobbling from left to right let's open it up but I can see that the screws are

here or very small but it's screws of the body are pretty long so you have to keep

them separated let's disassemble the arm and check what's up I'm going to be

pretty interested to see how it's working with a gear or

direct or as a prop direct driven from the motor but I find a rubber

o-ring going on top of the arm this to kill vibration is going to the camera so

that's a good job you've been needing a little screwdriver to push in a little

clicking pins open it up shame they didn't use an extra screw for it it's so

super tight and you recommend to be very gentle not really the best solution that

they used to click on a click open and close off the arm

and I can find this little screw this little gear running from the motor

towards the propeller to give it a little bit more torque instead of RPM

now we have opened up the motor one arm looks like when it's disassembled and

it's just a question of looking at this gear this is chopped cheap plastic it's

not centered perfectly and there's no bushing in the arm like with the e58 I

got a metal bushing to keep it all nice and straight but this is just plastic on

plastic and only a little bit of oil I would like to place some grease there to

make it around a little bit smoother and checking the size of the model

seven millimeters wide just checking the length and I think my guess is yeah

that's 2 centimeters that's clear yep exactly 2 centimeters that's perfect

they are nice and powerful motors for such a little drone make it interesting

too little later I lift test and a thrust test but now this is all we're going to

have to assemble the motor back in its place

and this is just a click system so click on and then the last piece goes on top

and just hold on a a few screws it's all nice and easy

and simple and the arm is completely fully assembled again you can put it

back in its place just make sure that a wires I'm not gonna

be stuck it was one more arm that we didn't like it was this one in the rear

then we also going to have to check put them in on this is a lot easier than

putting it of just also have to disassemble this one real quick with the

second arm that created so much vibrations we found a really strange way

problem check this out and turning it the direction it shut turn you can see it's

holding back it's stopping there's a vibe there's a vibration this there's a

blockage the other very spins completely free no

problem at all again you can hear it it's no good there

is a little issue and all the gears check them look pretty clean there's no

garbage in between them that can cause the problem the only way I can fix it

now because it's running smooth the other way around I'm going to change

this arm and turn it sorry other way to make it turn counter clockwise instead

of clockwise so it runs smooth and in the meantime we can wait of course until

the new arm and parts will arrive but we can still fly because it one motor is

spinning rough one way and smooth the other way I'm just going to change it up

so the motor next to it and just desolder these two wires and change them out

I just need to make sure the motors are turning the correct way

when I solder them back luckily we did some pre maintenance and we fit at least

this problem one time thought gets worse and in the meantime you can order

a spare part so if you really need to replace it in the end but we can still keep on

flying without hurting the motor anymore then it's already been hurting all this

time fiddly job at the same time we can also improve the solder joints because

they are looking pretty rough the original ones it doesn't show the really

the best quality that I would like to have seen with this little drone but now

it's just fine question of putting the motors back in its place and then give

it a little test see if the motors and props are spinning the correct way and

of course this one turns counterclockwise this motor turns

clockwise this motor turns counterclockwise and this motor turns

clockwise for your beginners they don't know but if you know it it's pretty

simple job I just have to find the correct propeller that goes with it and

its scoops when it's turning counterclockwise so that goes on this

motor that is counter clockwise and this propeller scoops clock wise so

that's going to go on the motor turns clockwise then of course don't forget

the screws put the pops on this place and they don't take off during the test

flight and then we connect the battery of course and then pretty simple test

make sure the motor sits good into its place it's a bit tricky of course you don't

want them but I'm not going to assemble the drone and then to find out that

the motors the wrong way and then have to disassemble everything

again so we always do a simple check but it's quick one and then and there's a

little button right here at the end is the on/off switch

so we have assembled an arms and put it back in place because this is a one

problem that we have solved there's one problem less they can cause any issues

during flight I was just gonna be interested to see the rest of the

components of this little drone so let's take off the lampshade rotate and remove

the camera with it and there's not a little space so I'm gonna just check

show you guys that little camera because it's really it's just as big as my pinky

it's a super small camera and behind it we have a little red board that connects

the camera and then at back we have a small shows up pretty bad as you can see

behind the board of the red camera there's a little blue boat that is the

Wifi FPV module it sends all the connection with your will telephone but I'm

looking at it looking for a antenna it's also shows really bad but it's one small

little antenna right over here it runs to the Wifi module so that's for the

wifi connection and then I was looking at the

circuit board you can find here at antenna and they put just the joint of

solder on it so if you're going to add our own antenna over here you can extend

the range by a whole bunch and definitely when you're flying in the

noisy area with a lot of Wifi FPV will decrease the range of your little drone

of course this is a selfie drone you're not going to be flying the far away

anyways but just in case it's always good to have the best connection that

you can get and add your own Antenna I may have found a little spare antenna as

little I would love to have it a little bit bigger because the bigger the

antenna the longer it is the more range you get tested at several times and it's

also smart to let the antenna stick outside the canopy to get some better

connection with the transmitter and of course do the same with the transmitter

so now we have seen all the components of the drone we have improved the arms

we have improved the range with Antenna we have checked with Wifi FPV

now this little antenna I'm gonna just pull up and poke in

Lower side of the body and they just poke out and just attend a poke out on

the top of the canopy and looking at the quality I'm not really impressed but I

do like that it's a really small tiny package you need to be consider that its not

easy job to get it so small as this I mean it's foldable down it really fits

in your pocket you don't need a bag it's really nice that it put of course a extra

pouch with it but you don't need it now I'm just going to put all the componants

back in this place being very carefully they made the margins of the plastic

very small this is all just a tight fit and that's a good thing that means it

has less things that are vibrating loose and it creates so much less

vibration towards the camera and giving you better video quality so this is a

good thing but it's pretty difficult fibbly job to put it all back together and

of course don't forget to put the four rubber o-rings on top of the arms this

is also killing vibration that's going towards the camera and also towards a

gyro so the gyro will be also a lot more happier because vibrations are stressing

out and gyro making it fly a lot more mmm out of balance lets me say it will

be a lot more tricky a lot more jumping and not so smooth the less vibrations

going towards the gyro the smoother your drone fly and therefore the

smoother your camera footage video will be well we have placed those four rubber

pieces and I'm just going to put that canopy back in its place but first we're

going to poke hall and to poke a hole in the canopy to make some room for the

antenna we're gonna use my soldering machine

just really quick and dirty fix yep now we are going to put the

canopy back to a antenna through that little hole that we on its place we have to poke

made I need to be very careful with motor wires that we are not going

to damage them in any way and it will still run smooth

and the o rings will stay in there place that's pretty important that you don't

lose those check all four arms if they are sitting correct and if it's all

sitting nice and tight and there's not enough a lot of space in between we can

start off the way we'd end it and as using the two middle screws for the body

first and then going around to the four screws in the rear and in the back you

screw down the screws you don't want to over tighten them and worn out the treads

but you do want to make it tight so that you don't lose them during fligh and

also each flight you want to check if they are still in this place or you have

to tighten them up so you don't leave bad flight the second time around now

it's time to put the propellers back in its place

and I'm just gonna show you one way you can see that it's scooping when it's

turning counterclockwise that means it needs to go on on a motor that turns

counterclockwise and these two motors are spinning

towards each other and these two motors are spinning towards each other and it

means that this one is counterclockwise and this one is counterclockwise and these

two turn clockwise and this prop needs to turn counterclockwise to create lift

because it's scooping and you can see the way it scoops it's turning

counterclockwise just say three times because a lot of people don't know a lot

of beginners that are buying these quadcopters that can make a little mistake we

just have to help you guys wherever we can and just going to screw the propellers

and then we have two propellers that turn clockwise to create lift now the

we I finish the full assembly of the day you have a jjrc h37 mini baby elfie drone it's time to do

one more test before we going outside for test flight and that's checking if

the motors and propellers are spinning the correct way

take off look but and take off the meens that the motors and propellers are turning

the correct way and sitting on the right place and it means it's very to go

outside and do a test flight but this video of the maintenance guide is going

to stop over here I really hope this video was helpful to you guys and we'll

be giving it a lot of thumbs ups if it wasn't well to give it a thumbs down and

if you have any questions then leave it down below in the comment area and I

hope you subscribe for the next episode we go through a test flight and I want

to say goodbye until next time

Food Prep for Real People! A beginners guide! Episode 8 - Duration: 8:17.

Courtney's corner hey guys, it's Courtney and I might be going to Rome in a couple hours by

Guys welcome to Courtney's corner

BlueTEC for real people

first I wanna remember the

First I want to remind everybody that I'm not a chef

I'm not a nutritionist and you're probably wondering why I'm wearing a toga well

I go to Rome in a couple hours, and I didn't want to forget you guys we have to food prep

So let's get cook at this meal. That's made for gladiator

today's ingredients include broccoli pinko breadcrumbs Italian seasoning salt and pepper

olive oil provolone cheese 5 to 6 sweet potatoes and 4 to 5 chicken breasts

Today we are making skinny broccoli cheese stuffed with chicken with a side of sweet potatoes

First we're gonna start with the breading of the chicken

We're gonna make our own breading mix with panko because panko is made without the crust of the bread

Look here for other panko benefits that you will love

Put 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs right into your bowl

Now we're going to add 2 tablespoons of Italian seasoning to your breadcrumbs

Of course I'm gonna use a little bit of extra garlic lovers flavor God in my mix

Now add 1 teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of pepper right into your mixture?

Now mix them all together

now we're going to get the chicken breasts all ready, but first let's preheat your oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, so

Why did next is you're going to get 4 to 5 chicken breasts?

And they're going to be big and thick so what you're gonna have to do is you're gonna have to cut them right in half

Longway, and I'm going to show you you're gonna lay it on the cutting board and then just cut it a long way just as

so

Then your chicken breasts will look just like this

What's your name? Next is you're gonna?

Have a tough aware container all ready to go and you're gonna put your chicken 1/2 right into the container

Next what you're going to do is you're going to put 1/4 cup of

Almond milk right into the container with a chicken breasts

This is a little tip from me to you

So here chicken for at least an hour and milk will help the chicken breasts stay moist throughout the cooking process

What you're going to get ready now is your 2 cups of steamed broccoli?

And you can either use the bags in the microwave or the stovetop bags

Another tip is to put down parchment paper again. It will help that you can not stick to any surface

Now here

We go you're going to take one of your chicken breasts that you cut in half and put it right onto the parchment paper

You're going to take another piece of parchment paper and put it right over the chicken breasts I?

Don't have a fancy meat tenderizer, so I am using a can opener

now we're going to do with our meat tenderizer if you have one is they're going to smash the chicken and make it nice and

Even but don't smell it too much because we don't want it to be too thin. Then it falls apart

This is what your chicken breast should look like a nice thin chicken breast now if you want you can always buy the

Thinly sliced chicken breasts are already at the supermarket now

If you didn't soak your chicken in milk you can use egg whites before you put it into the panko breadcrumb mix

So now let's dip our chicken breasts right into the panko breadcrumbs

Now you want to make sure that you cover the chicken breasts evenly with the breadcrumbs

There you go perfectly breadcrumbed the next step

Is is you're going to add your cheese you're gonna take one slice of provolone cheese and split it in half

Just like this and put it right on top of the chicken breasts

Next you're going to add a couple pieces of broccoli right on top of your cheese

Before we roll up our chicken breasts make sure that you have a baking sheet all ready to go nice and sprayed with nonstick spray

Make sure you guys have your toothpicks ready because you're going to need them

Now we're going to roll up our chicken breasts nice and tightly

Now that you have your chicken breasts rolled up take tu-whoo toothpicks and stick them right through the chicken breasts

Now let's do the same process to all of our chicken breasts remember. It goes bread crumbs cheese broccoli

roll

stab

Now that these guys are all prepped. Let's put them aside and make the sweet potatoes I

Have a baking pan all ready to go with tinfoil and our nonstick spray

I was going to cut these sweet potatoes in little quarters

This is what they're gonna look like when you cut them up

Once you have your sweet potatoes all cut up put them onto your baking sheet next turn your little 2 tablespoons over your sweet potatoes

Next you're going to put two tablespoons of Italian seasoning right on top of your sweet potatoes now you're gonna massage everything together

You know what I love meals where I can food prep while they're cooking so let's get these babies in

So I can catch my plane. Oh, yeah, you guys are gonna cook these for 30 minutes

This gladiator meal is all done. Let's take a closer look here sweet potatoes

And your cheese and broccoli stuffed chicken yummy

Do you think I was gonna leave without having one yeah, right?

This meal makes me wanna, you know you make me wanna shout

Thanks for another fun day

But I want to go so don't forget to subscribe watch the other videos and follow me on Instagram or Facebook

This week I've prepped breakfast sandwiches unholy bagels

chicken salad and our delicious delicious

Skinny broccoli cheese stuffed chicken with a side of sweet potatoes things I'm prepping not gonna plane to catch

3 Keys to Increasing Your Kids' Motivation | Parenting A to Z - Duration: 7:51.

Hey my friend! Welcome to Parenting A-to-Z! I'm Kelly Bourne and this week

we're diving right into motivation, taking a look at the factors that

underlie our sense of motivation and then what we can do as

parents to really help boost our kids up and help them become those self starters

and independent decision-makers that we'd like them to be -- I know at least that's the

hope anyway, right?!

The thing that I find really interesting with motivation is that

while so many of us parents really want to help beef up our kids motivation and

know what we can do to help motivate our kids, we can forget that our kids are

naturally motivated! Our kids have motivation coming out the ying-yang!

They're naturally self-directed. They're naturally curious. Heck just think --

any milestone, from lifting their head up, to rolling over, to sitting up, to walking --

they don't do any of those things cuz you're paying them! They're not doing

those things for stickers, right?! They're internally motivated to do all of those

things! So our job as parents is just to kind of harness that internal motivation

and try to do what we can to not unintentionally demotivate them. Because

some of the things we can do without even realizing can really chip away at

that internal motivation. And that's absolutely something that we're gonna

look at today. So one of the first things I want to look at before we get into any

tips or tools, is just what is motivation?! And there really are three

elements that make up motivation -- they apply to us as well, for us in

our adult lives as well as our kids -- and those three things are 1. autonomy 2. mastery

and 3. purpose. Those are the three. That's your trifecta of goodness as far as

what it takes to go for your dreams and go for what you're after and really

harnessing that sense of internal motivation. So autonomy, of course, is

having a level of choice. Our kids aren't gonna be crazy motivated to do

something that they don't want to do. I'm sure you maybe even seen that,

depending on the age of your kids and if if they're engaged in extracurriculars

or not, how some activities they may just not even

care at all and sit back and goof around. And then suddenly there's this other

activity where they're like all in. Paying attention, wanting to do every

drill, practicing at home on their own. Because it's something that they're

interested in. Never, never underestimate the power of

autonomy and the power of choice in allowing your kids to follow whatever

passions may crop up for them. And it doesn't have to be a passion, like

right at five, it could just be an interest. Allowing them to follow

that interest on their own terms is huge. And the thing that's interesting when we

allow our kids to have choice and allow our kids to have a sense of autonomy,

that's where you could really see that engagement creeping in. When they are

doing things on their own without prompting. One of my

kids went through a phase where he was making these amazing costumes out of

construction paper, just because he felt like it! I wasn't coaching him

to do it or trying to motivate him to do it, he was just naturally interested in

that. So the bottom line -- the more autonomy our kids have, the more

engagement they will have in that activity, whatever it is that they find

they want to participate in. And then when we have that level of

engagement, that is when the next step of mastery comes in. When they've

had the choice and they're really engaged, that's when they'll work and

work and work and work to improve. Again, all on their own. Really all we've done

is back off and allow them to follow that passion. Of course, we may have had

a hand in helping them get their activities or get them there on time and

all that jazz, but we're just there as a support system.

I think that's honestly one of the biggest things with motivation, to

realize as parents, is to back off allow our kids the choice to follow those

little interests wherever they may lead. Seeing ourselves more as a support

person rather than the ringmaster. And then finally, the third real piece of

motivation is having a sense of purpose. Having a sense that what we're doing is

is more than just for ourselves. Whether we're writing stories for our friends

and our family, or we're up to the highest levels of sport competing for

our town or our or province or our state or wherever you

are in the world. Having that sense that what we're doing is is for the

greater good. Is serving the greater good. That is essentially motivation in a

nutshell. So keeping those three elements of motivation in mind, what can we do as

parents, right?! Because I'm sure that's that's what you're really after! So the

first thing is just to stay curious. Stay curious when you see your child is

spending an extra amount of time coloring or they're really focused on

building that snow fort in the backyard. Or they're really they're really zeroing

in on these gymnastics videos on YouTube or whatever. Stay curious. Ask

questions. Allow them to follow that interest naturally. And again,

thinking of yourself as a support person, rather than the grand leader or the

grand organizer. Allowing them the choice and the autonomy to decide for

themselves how they would like to pursue that interest. And then, of course, going

along with that, is letting go of control. Just backing off. And then as your

kids start following those interests, there probably will be some bumps in the

road. And just again allowing those mistakes to be opportunities to learn

and grow. Encouraging our kids to pick themselves up and try again and try

again and try again and try again. Normalizing that, yeah, you know what?

Sometimes I make mistakes when I am writing something or I make

mistakes when I'm skiing or I make mistakes. We all make mistakes all the

time, right?! Just normalizing that struggle for them so they don't give up

on their dreams because they they made one tiny little mistake. Just

encouraging along the way. And then of course, always leaving that open door. So

that they can come to you with questions, concerns, if they're wanting to change

from a different coach, if they're wanting to, like whatever this situation

is, depending on what interests they're following, just being that open

door. So they can come to you when they're looking for a change or maybe

they want to go a little bit more in depth, they want to go a

little bit more serious. Being that landing place for them. So I guess the

bottom line, guys, what it comes down to is just really paying attention to what

your kids are interested in. Backing off and allowing your kids to follow that

interest where it may lead. Of course providing support and providing

encouragement and providing opportunity along the way, but trying not

- and I know it can be so hard if we see a lot of potential and our kids to

really want to push them in that direction -

allowing that internal motivation. That's the key. That is the key right

there. Because when our kids are internally motivated to go for what they

want to go for, heck, nothing in the world is gonna stop them!

And then when it comes to quitting, if they do decide they want to

back off, just try to remember that sometimes quitting or slowing down or

not spending so much time on a formerly really exciting activity, that'll allow

them to pursue other interests. It's creating space in their life to pursue

something they may be more interested in. And that's where they may find their

crazy motivation and go to town. You never know. You never know. Just

stepping back, allowing them to take the lead. So I hope that helps, guys! Of course

Healthy Indian Lunch & Afternoon routine || Pregnancy Third Trimester Afternoon Routine & tips. - Duration: 5:40.

Hi everyone welcome to my channel my name is Swarda, in todays video i am going to share

what i am eating for lunch, what i do to stay active and how i am spending my whole afternoon,

don't forget to click on the like button and SUBSCRIBE to my channel with the bell

icon.

And please excuse my voice because i am having cold and this time its taking really long

to recover.

As many of you know i am in third trimester of my pregnancy so i try to make and have

healthy and balanced diet .in each lunch meal i try to include sufficient quantity of vegetables,

protein, fiber, Healthy Fats, dairy and breads. and i am also sharing few tips towards the

end of this video so stay tuned, give me a feed back, and don't forget to comment on

this video.

First Lets see what i am going to eat today for lunch.

Soon after my breakfast i have done all the preparations, like i cooked overnight soaked

chole, daal, rice, prepared dough for roties, after that i chopped veggies for chana masala

like tomatoes, onion, garlic, cilantro, green chilies, curry leaves and ginger garlic paste.

Then first i am going to cook chana masala, for that i am adding all the freshly chopped

veggies in tadka followed by chole masala, garam masala, chilly powder and i am smashing

some chole here and there to make a thick consistency of gravy and let it cook for few

min.

Next one is dal palak. to make it i am using a bowl of freshly chopped spinach and 2 garlic

cloves, and frying palak in simple tadka because lately i am suffering from heartburn so making

1 item less spicy.

Then instead of salad today i am going to eat crunchy stir fried veggies and to make

this dish i have chopped cauliflower, green bell paper, red bell paper, snow peas, carrots,

broccoli, and zucchini in the middle and for seasoning all i am going to use is some lemon

juice and fresh black paper.

In a heated pan i am adding a tablespoon of olive oil, some fresh garlic, everything i

mentioned earlier and salt.

i am going to fry it on medium to high heat till it gets lightly caramelized, and i am

not going to cook it because i like this dish crunchy and it tastes delicious this way.

but you can cook it or add any sauce or seasoning you like.

Now I will make garam garam fluke and eat everything hot, and fresh but not without

adding home made ghee and with the side of strawberry greek yogurt and coconut water

I will have my lunch.

Soon after finishing food I cleaning up sink and kitchen and got ready to drop my daughter

to school.

In the cold weather it's really hard to walk outside and my doctor has advised me not to

do so but luckily there is a target just next to my daughters school so everyday after dropping

her i go there to shop something i need and walk till i complete my target, i use apple

watch to keep a track of my daily activity so i walk till i achieve it.

just to give you all a rough idea i walk at least 3.5 miles in a day and also perform

few kegel exercises whenever i get time.

After walking i came back home, changed ,i did my laundry, each day i have different

house chores on my list and today it was laundry or i work on my videos cause this is the only

quiet time i get in whole day..

Today we have some plans in the evening so i am just doing pre preparation like applying

face mask, hair straightening but instead of all the work and never ending TO DO lists

i make sure to take a break and rest for some time but its just a rest or me time don't

sleep in afternoon.

Now i would like to share few tips about what i routine i follow in third trimester ,but

before starting let me tell you all that i am not an expert and these tips are based

on general practices and my own experience.

Tips for the healthy third trimester:(Which i am following)
