Hi, I'm Henry Chiles with Chiles Peach Orchard and Carter Mountain Orchard.
One of everybody's favorite fall activities is to go apple picking with the family.
And today we're gonna learn how to pick an apple.
When you're out in the orchard, all the apples on the tree can look good, and you
might want to take them all home with you.
But what we don't want to do is pick apples that are under-ripe.
Here's a prime example of one that we don't want to pick.
This one is still not quite ripe, and as you can see compared to the other ones on the
tree, it's visibly under-ripe and under-mature.
Amongst all the apple varieties that we grow, some ripen as early as the late part of July
and others take as long as the late part of November.
This is a good example of a fruit that's ready to be harvested and put into your bag.
This fruit has got red color all the way around.
The easiest way is just to lift and twist and it will pop right off into your hand.
Uh oh!
Sometimes when you're picking apples you might knock off another one than the one you
wanted.
But that's ok, don't worry, the one that fell is actually probably more ripe than the
one that you picked.
When an apple falls off the tree it means that's ripe and ready to eat, so just pick
that one up and put it in your bag and take it with you.
When you're out in the orchard going to pick apples it can be very tempting sometimes
to want to step on the branch to get a fruit that's higher up on the tree that you can't reach.
However, we do ask that you please do not do this as its dangerous for both you and our trees.
Please don't break off any branches as you're just hurting the production for next year.
Some things to remember as your visiting us at Chiles Peach Orchard and Carter Mountain Orchard
is that we are dealing with Mother Nature and we don't always have the best
conditions in the field.
We do recommend that you check the weather and if it's rained recently, please come
prepared so you don't get so muddy.
When walking to our picking areas we do ask that you be mindful of the roads.
Be aware of your surroundings.
Please try to keep to the side as we are a working farm and we do have tractors and trucks
that sometimes travel on our roadways.
Keep up to date with our website and our Facebook page.
That's where you're going to be able to find what varieties are ready and what's
in season at the time.
That's gonna be your number one resource for information for picking before you arrive.
Even if you're a frequent customer we ask that you please check in with our staff upon arrival.
They're the ones who are gonna be directing you to where the most ripe fruit is and gonna
be giving you the best experience.

Happy (Early) Christmas! The Royals' Historic Holiday Traditions — Including Roasted Peacocks - Duration: 5:02.
Looking for inspiration for the holiday season? With three months to go until Christmas, a definitive account of how the royals celebrate has been compiled just in time for the big countdown
Whether turkey at the Christmas dinner table (credit Edward VII) or the introduction of decorated fir trees, many of the familiarities of the holidays either stem from the royal household — or are adopted by them
Now a new book from the Royal Collection, A Royal Christmas (out Oct. 18), uses the Royal Archives to show off 150 celebratory objects and lore
While it is often said that Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, introduced the idea of having an evergreen tree as a centerpiece of the celebrations, the practice had actually existed in the royal household for around 80 years
George III's wife, Queen Charlotte, was raised in Germany (like Albert) — where they would "deck a single yew bough" with decorations and gather around it to exchange gifts
At Windsor, she "transformed the ritual into a festive spectacle that could be enjoyed not only by family and friends but by the wider court," author Louise Cooling writes
Queen Elizabeth, who joked this year about her great-grandchildren enjoying "knocking" the ornaments off her tree, donates Christmas trees to schools and churches around Sandringham annually
These days, the royals often limit themselves to gag gifts. But King Henry VIII would use the receiving of gifts to show his disapproval
In 1532, he was offered gifts by his wife Catherine of Aragon and the woman he had his eye on: Anne Boleyn
He rejected the presents from the Queen in favor of those from Anne. Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert, would shower her with presents of fine jewelry
One she valued the most, according to the book, was a brooch with an enamel portrait of their first child, Victoria, in the "guise of a cherub," given on Christmas 1841
Victoria would write that it had been "entirely his own idea and taste." Think you've got a long holiday card list? The Queen sends out around 750 every year, signed "Elizabeth R and Philip," and usually featuring a family photograph
Prince Philip, 97, also adds 200 of his own to his regiments and other societies
A Royal Christmas illustrates some early examples of the family portraits they have been using for decades to update family and friends — a practice started by the Queen's parents, George VI and Queen Elizabeth, when they were more humbly titled the Duke and Duchess of York and raising young Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret
Roasted peacocks, "served in their own plumage" were once on the menu in the early centuries of the monarchy
Also served at that time: brawn, a "terrine made from meat of a pig's head," or roast capon, swan and even a pie filled with lamprey (an eel-like fish) which would be given to the Sovereign by the people of Gloucester in the 11th century
Later, it was a boar's head that would take center stage on the royal table after it was introduced by Henry II in the 12th century
Thankfully, for the current members of the family, tastes have changed — though the boar's head is still served from a side table
Plum broth, which had been popular since Charles I's day and included beef and veal and large amounts of port and rum (as well as fruit), was replaced by plum pudding in Queen Victoria's time and continues today
In Henry VIII's time, festivities were led by the jovially-named Lord of Misrule beginning on Christmas Eve and ending on January 6
With his outfit decorated with ribbons, bells and jewels, he would lead a parade of entertainers — and even the king had to obey his commands during the entertainment
More recently, it has been the royals themselves who like to dress up and perform
The book contains pictures of the outfits that the then-Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret wore as they put on Aladdin for their parents and the members of the royal household at Windsor Castle in December 1943
Their show — which was watched by Prince Philip four years before he was to wed Elizabeth — included "topical references" and "teasing inside jokes
" The following year, the young royals were even more ambitious, with sets for their show, Old Mother Red Riding Boots, designed by Academy-Award winning art director Vincent Korda
Charging admission for royal household members, they raised around $390 in today's money for charity
A Royal Christmas ($13.20) is available from the Royal Collection Trust on October 18

The maine coon is recognized by these ears very long, from these tufts

It is called Maine coon because it is native to maine and coon means in

Please don't fall asleep in the class again, Alright? He had a really good reason for being asleep.
This is one of my students who is really an
entrepreneur and he has a sneaker business
and he sells the stuff online on his Instagram. So he was up all night

How to Make Letting Go of Someone (Like an Abuser) Easier - Duration: 4:48.
Letting go has to happen in order to move forward in your life. You have to go
beyond just walking away from the people who hurt you. You need to separate from
your desire to return or the sense that they still run your life. But how,
especially after such horrible abuse, can you actually do this? Well, keep on watching.
Hello! I'm Arien Smith and you are watching Arien Inspires, a weekly online
web series where you can find peace and joy and prosperity after abuse--and a
huge part of getting this is learning to let go emotionally and physically from
the people who have hurt you. When we leave the side of someone who has abused
us, it is a huge step towards healing, but it's not the only thing that we have to
do. The impact that they had on us is intense and that's what we really need
to focus on letting go of. Sometimes it's as obvious as us trying to convince
ourselves that we can still salvage the relationship. After a best friend of mine
turned on me and abused me for over a year, it took me months to realize that
there was no going back. That she would never be the friend that
I had once loved. She was just an abuser and I deserved better.
So, if you notice yourself trying to salvage a broken relationship with an
abuser, mentally work on walking away. Commit to telling yourself, starting
right now, "This isn't worth it, I deserve better." Instead, focus on handling the
grief that you're feeling, learning better boundary setting skills, and
building new trusted loving and compassionate connections with other
people. There is also a lot of grief that happens when we walk away from someone.
The kind that can send us into a bedroom, crying for days. I remember being here
and I remember feeling like the only way to solve that grief was to turn around
and go back to my abuser. It felt too overwhelming to survive, but you do have
the power to handle this grief and it does get better. You are going to miss
your abuser, that is totally normal and it's absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.
Even though they hurt you, you had also bonded to them so there's a real
rational reason why that grief is there. All you need to do is keep supporting
yourself during this intense emotion and wait it out. All grief resolves with time,
so you just need to make sure that you are giving yourself that time to get
over your abuser. This patience will lead to you emotionally letting go of them,
but most of all don't shame yourself for having that grief in the first place.
Instead, put all of your energy towards supporting yourself during that intense
and difficult emotion. There's also a need to let go of your abusers impact on
you. Their voice still rings in your head and the trauma that they caused still
comes back in memories and flashbacks and anxiety all the time. But letting go
isn't about stopping this and that's so often misunderstood. Letting go is not
about forcing yourself to forget or get over your trauma.
Letting go is about acknowledging that your abuser is no longer
there and that you can rewrite the narrative of your life. You can now
decide what is okay and good and safe to experience. You can replace old toxic
beliefs that your abuser left you with with newer and healthier ones. When anxiety or
trauma memories come up you can empower yourself to better cope with them. You
can accept, with love, that they are a part of your healing process. It's how
your mind lets go of trauma, by remembering what happened. Techniques
like dialectical behavioral therapy and radical acceptance are invaluable here,
so I definitely recommend checking those out. In fact, I actually have a video on
radical acceptance and I think the link should appear like right above me. These
are all the strategies you need in order to truly let go. From walking and staying
away, through handling the grief that you experience, through accepting the trauma
memories as a part of your healing. These will all move you away from the impact
your abuser had and move you towards that joy that you've been seeking. A lot
of this is about patience, but trust, during that, that all of the labor is
worth it. Every single day you are getting closer to having a life that you
absolutely love and you can make today a huge step forwards too. What is one way
that you'll work on letting go starting today? What is one promise about
letting go that you are making yourself? Go ahead and comment below and, most
importantly, make sure to take action on this. It would also mean a ton if you
share this with another survivor of abuse. It can be so hard for us to find
support and help, so that's why I make all of these free videos. I'd love if you
shared them and I'm sure that other survivors would too. As always there are
a ton more resources over at UncoverYourJoy.com, so head on over, check it
out, and leave a comment! While you're there, be sure to subscribe to our e-mail
list. You'll receive exclusive monthly self love letters, weekly blog updates,
and free resources I send only to my email community. Your past abuser has
impacted you and that's totally valid. The grief and the longing and the other
complicated emotions that you feel are also valid. You don't need to erase these
impacts, instead you just need to remember that you can handle them. You
can get through them. Through this patience and self-love, your mind will
eventually learn to let go of these. And during all of this waiting and hard work,
remember that you are loved, you are worthy, and you are capable of so so much.

Typically, that kind of statement would cause someone to shut down.
They would accept that statement as fact, then find some job that allows them to

But where's your passion?
Where's your dream?
I was the first man in my family to attend college.
I worked 2 jobs on campus, took 18 to 20 credit hours, and was a part of 2 dance companies.
It was crazy, but I was hungry!
Passionate.
So today, I own my own company.
I perform,

I want to expose the hearing community to Deaf culture through Hip Hop.
It all starts with an idea.
Get that idea down on paper.
Create a timeline and begin working step-by-step.
Every step you accomplish will help you get closer and closer to your goal.
If I can do it, I know damn well you can.
It doesn't matter what color you are.
It doesn't matter what background you come from.
I've seen people who had nothing become successful.
They started from the bottom.
People will laugh at you.
I've been laughed at for so many years.
I've been doing this for almost 30 years.
Who's laughing now?

How to Pick Apples - Duration: 2:20.

Why Tweens And Mountain Lions Don't Mix - Duration: 13:05.
(eerie music plays)
- Hey!
What in God's holy graces has happened here?
Ethan, what's going on out there?
Everyone seems more dying-y than usual.
Ahh!
- Hello Todd.
- How do you do that?
- Todd, it's the last day of the festival
and your tweens still aren't using
the hashtag Spurge Explosion.
- It's hard to use the hashtag if you're passing out
from drinking Spurge.
What I really gotta do is get them to drink more water.
- Oh, well there is no more water anymore at Tween Fest.
We are the exclusive liquid of this festival,
so I had my team go ahead and remove all your water.
- But people need water to live.
- Ain't that the truth.
We're also handing out our new product,
Spurge BodyJacked.
- I don't think they need more energy drinks.
- Oh, it's more than just an energy drink.
It's an energy drink slash body spray.
And before you ask,
no, we're not just dumping it here
because it was rejected by the FDA.
- Wait, what is the FDA part?
I have to write this down.
I gotta start covering my ass.
- That's the spirit.
Bye Todd.
- What the.
(upbeat synthesizer)
- Dehydrated teens dropping like flies in the desert heat.
An anonymous rogue named Maddisyn creating chaos
somewhere in the outskirts.
Festival goers are only left with one lingering hope,
the chance to see Tween Fest's headlining act,
Ariana Grande smiling and waving for six seconds.
Otherwise, Tween Fest can only be described
as a complete disaster.
- Heh, heh.
- Bah!
Don't be so glum, Zigbee.
Check this out.
Spurge BodyJacked.
Ha, ha.
Look, I'm sprayin' his bum!
(laughter)
I'm sprayin' his bum 'cause it stinks, mate!
Ha, ha, ha.
- No one sprays me bum!
(can clanks, explodes)
(onlookers laugh, gasp)
- These cans will take our horsin' around to the next level!
- We'll spray the mountain lion with the Spurge,
get him jacked up,
and then sic him on Ariana Grande.
Then, when the kiddies are scared,
we'll throw the exploding cans at 'em.
Fuckin' boom!
(group laughs)
- That's fuckin' brilliant.
It's fuckin' brilliant.
(onlookers laugh)
But listen.
The big prank is gonna be the perfect end to our
MTV Two pilot!
(lion snarls, growls)
- Get out.
- Ahhh! - No!
- Ha, ha, ha. - Yeah!
- No!
- What's his fuckin' problem?
- Mr. Crawford, something horrible's
about to happen at Tween Fest!
- Now what?
- The Prankaninnies are gonna set loose a mountain lion,
and also they have a bunch of exploding cans of Spurge.
With an ending like this,
their MTV Two pilot is for sure
gonna get picked up over mine!
- Oh, my god!
- I know, right!?
MTV Two is never gonna pick up two prank-based
TV shows in one cycle!
I'm screwed!
- No!
Oh, my god!
To the first thing,
we have warn everybody!
Tell your followers!
- I can't!
I deleted all my Zayden profiles.
I'm Zigbee Bolloway now.
- You're Zigbee what the fuck?
- I'm an Australian prankster now.
- All right, who has as many followers
as you used to have before you changed your name?
- I guess we count our regular followers
and her in follower followers.
- Maddisyn.
Ahh, that's not gonna work.
She's not gonna take my phone call.
- She might not take your call,
but she might take a call
from one of my masterfully created characters.
- Uh, sorry, I don't really know
some random ass blind guy.
- She fell for it.
It's all yours.
- Thank you.
Honey, it's your dad.
Don't hang up.
Don't hang up, sweetheart.
Please.
Tween Fest is in danger.
- Good.
- No, no, no.
Real danger.
Mountain lions.
Exploding soda cans.
Disrespectful Australians.
But, honey, if you reactivate your accounts
and warn everybody,
you could be saving literally thousands of lives.
Most importantly, Ariana Grande's.
(dramatic didgeridoo plays)
(lion snarls)
(mumbles)
- Shhh, shhh, shhh.
Time to boney up.
(laughter)
Come on.
(laughter)
Rough!
- [Announcer] Tween Fest,
you are just one minute away from six seconds
of Ariana Grande.
- Look, Maddisyn Crawford's back on line.
(dramatic synthesizer plays)
- Oh god!
We get outta here!
- [Announcer] Give it up for Ariana Grande!
- Wait, no.
I'll take my chances.
I don't wanna miss the smiling or the waving.
(crowd cheers)
(dramatic music plays)
- Time to let him loose.
(dramatic music plays, crowd cheers)
(lion snarls)
- Back!
- Go, go, go, go, go, go!
(lion snarls)
(crowd screams)
(lion growls)
(can explodes, victim screams)
- That was only five seconds!
This is bull shit!
(crowd screams)
(cans explode)
- Where do you think you're goin' little buggers?
Whew!!
(can explodes)
- Comin' through!
Get outta the way!
Get outta the way!
- All right, all right.
I'll stop the Prankaninnies.
You get that mountain lion.
- Right!
- Wait a minute.
What?
- Whew!
(crowd screams, cans explode)
- Riley!
What the hell are you doing, man?
This isn't a prank.
This is terrorism!
- Pranks and terrorism are the same word in Australia.
In our country,
jackass and ISIS are both considered lovable scamps!
Hey, I've got a surprise for ya, Zigbee.
- Ha, ha, ha, ha!
- Zayden!
- Lexii!
- Ay, ay, ay.
Be careful there, Zayden.
One false move and Izzy and your little Sheila
over here go kaboomy boomy.
- Yeah!
I'm willing to kill myself if it's for a quality chortle!
(laughter)
- Zayden!
- Ah!
No, no.
No, no, no, no, no!
(can explodes)
Ahhhh!
- Come on!
- Ahhhh!
I'm blind!
Excuse me!
I'm blind now!
Excuse me!
Society!
Are you racist against blind people?
Why is nobody helping the blind man?
- Excuse me.
I will help you, Zayden Ostin Storm.
- You helped a blind man.
- Of course, I did.
Because I'm in love with him.
- Come here.
- Here kitty, kitty.
Hey, kitty.
I don't know how to make that noise.
Grrr.
Get in the bag.
(Prankaninnies laugh)
- Now wait, wait, wait!
We've each got one can left.
- I'll bet you a prime minister's dime
I can hit that stiff shirt before you do.
(laughter)
- [Todd] What the?!
(cans explode)
Uhhh.
Ohhhh.
Where am I?
- Dad, look out!
(lion growls)
- Ahhh!
Maddisyn!
- Wait, hang on! - Do something!
- Oh!
Hang on.
I'm gonna Google how to scare away a mountain lion!
- Google faster!
(lion growls)
Back boy!
Nice kitty.
- It says to scare away a mountain lion
make a loud and unpleasant noise.
- Maddisyn.
- What, what?
- A loud unpleasant noise!
- What?
Yeah!
Oh.
♫ It's Saturday night
♫ And I'm with my friends
♫ I hope the party never ends
(lion whimpers)
- Honey!
♫ Hangin' out
It's working.
Maddisyn, he hates your song, Honey!
I'm so proud of you!
(lion roars)
♫ Oh, Mr. Mountain Lion
♫ Please don't kill my dad
- He's leaving!
Maddisyn, I love you! - Yay!
- Gotta get outta here.
Gotta unpin myself.
Try.
Whoa.
Actually, this thing's really light.
Wish I had known that at the beginning.
(engine revs, Prankaninnies whoop and holler)
- Dammit!
The Prankaninnies are getting away.
- I'd love to give them a taste of their own medicine.
- Hey, throw this at them.
This Spurge thing.
- Yeah!
I'd never be able to hit 'em from this distance.
- But we can.
(big horns play)
Give me that Spurge can!
(big horns play)
Locked!
- And loaded!
(explosions)
- Yeah!!
- Boom.
Boosh!
Boosh!
- Well done, Dudes!
All right!
- Hey.
- A little too much huggin'.
That's all right.
(speedy music plays, phone rings)
Hold on, I gotta get this.
- Hel.
- Hey, Todd.
- Hey, Sophia.
- Had to hop a chopper.
Listen.
I don't know how you do this,
but hash tag Spurge Explosion is trending
all over Twitter and Instagram.
Listen to some of these postings here.
Pray for hash tag Spurge Explosion victims
And this one.
How can we prevent another hash tag Spurge Explosion?
Mission accomplished, my friend.
- You do know, though, that in this case,
explosion refers to actual explosions.
Spurge, your company, is complicit in several deaths.
- Trending is trending, Todd.
- Wow, you're a bad person.
- Sounds great.
Listen, I'm on my way to Spurge Taiwan.
We dumped a crate of expired Spurge
into the ocean,
and apparently it awakened some sort of sea beast.
You keep that on the DL.
Right, my friend?
- Okay, bye bye Sophia.
Thanks for not suing.
- [Sophia] For now.
- Sea beast?
(twangy guitar plays)
- Dad, let me give you a hand with that.
- Oh, great.
That would be a big help, honey.
Why don't you go pick up
those charred Spurge cans over there.
I'm gonna concentrate on these tufts of mountain lion fur.
And listen, if you run across one of those eggs
that the Dabble Dudes have been laying,
do not touch it.
- Whoa!
Dad, catch.
- Not that, stop that!
Honey, this is gross.
- Eww!
Don't touch it!
- No, no, no, no, not me!
I don't want it. - Ahh!
(laughter)
- Put it down.
That's disgusting.
You think you're gonna keep singing?
- You know what?
No.
I don't wanna be a singer.
It turns out that all my music is good for
is scaring away mountain lions.
- That and saving my life.
- Bravo, Mr. Crawford!
Bravo!
That was a excellent Tween Fest.
- I'm sorry.
You are?
- My name is Preston Stevens, Sr.
Stop The Preston's father.
I've been watching my son's live coverage
of Tween Fest,
and I see potential.
Before I rush Preston to the hospital
for severe heat exhaustion,
(groans)
I wanted to spitball an idea your way.
You see, I just became acting CEO
of King Majesty Royal Crown Cruises.
How would you like to take Tween Fest
out on the high seas?
(coughs)
- Fuck no.
(heavy beat synthesizer plays)
♫ Tween Fest
♫ Tween Fest
♫ Tween Fest
♫ Stick to your one thing
♫ Tween Fest
♫ Tween Fest
♫ Excuse me
♫ Excuse me
♫ Everyone
♫ Suck on my fuckin' tee shirt gun
♫ Spurge
♫ Oh, my skin is on fire
- Well, we're gonna go.
Lexii's gonna drive because I'm blind now.
(phone rings)
Hello.
MTV Two?
Yeah, yeah.
I'd love to be the world's first blind prank show host.
Yeah.
How's Blindiculousness for a title?
♫ Get out before Glendale burns
♫ That, that, that feeling wins
♫ You're being real mean
♫ That's the perfect day prank
♫ Walk faster
♫ Walk faster
(slow piano plays)
(sigh)
- I know he'd be proud of you.
- I love you, Juicetine.
- I love you, Dusty DelGrosso.
- Hi, Dusty.
I'm in Hell now.
Everyone who vapes goes to Hell.
Whaaa, he, he, he, he, he, he!
(vault door closes, metal squeaks)

WEDDING PLANNING Updates! | Venue, Date, Registry + GIFT HAUL - Duration: 7:42.
hey guys welcome to my apartment I
decided to pick up my camera and record this video for you guys because I just
owe it to you I feel like I haven't had a chance to just talk one-on-one to the
camera and tell you what's going on. okay I got engaged in April, it's now been
five months. feels brand-new this ring is still...every time I look at it gives me a
shock. we have officially picked our wedding date. it's going to be in
September 2019 so it's just about a year away which gives us a whole lot of time
but also as I've heard from many people it's gonna go by in the blink of an eye.
we've also chosen our venue. we looked at a few venues in New York City and the
one we ultimately settled on is outside of the city and we're really excited. I'm
not gonna announce just yet where we picked but we've got the venue. the next
thing we've already chosen is our band. we've got the date, we've got the venue,
we've got the band... what else have we got? we've also selected our photographers
and our videographers for the day - that was especially exciting for me to pick
as someone who works in video production just to get to watch a whole bunch of
wedding video examples and then choose the one that I thought would fit with
Michael and me the best. thankfully we have hired a wedding planner for this
big event which I am so excited about because I've got a full time job... and
sometimes when they email me I'm just like, "How would I ever have known to do
this if I didn't have you?" so super grateful for the planners. some things
that we have not selected yet include my wedding dress, the catering company, our
flowers, um what else do you need for a wedding? lighting, I dunno what colors I
want my bridesmaid dresses to be but I don't exactly have the dresses picked
out, a few things are done, a few things are still in the works, but overall
Michael and I just still could not be more excited that we're engaged and
we've been to the venue a bunch of times and every time we drive past it we get
the chills. one other thing we're in the process of working on is building out
our wedding registry. pretty much every single friend that I have that has
gotten married already used Zola for their registry, so it was just a natural
first choice for us. it's so under-ratedly fun to just go through and try to
envision yourself you know, like, do I need this mixer? Is this something I
could see myself doing? Is this plate something that will be in my future home?
they do have kind of all the classic bestseller stuff that people want in a
registry like kitchen appliances and electronics and all that but they also
have really really cool experiential things and offerings that you just
wouldn't normally see on a wedding registry for instance you can get things
like a gift card to Airbnb or monthly packages for gym memberships. they also
have incredible random things like drones which I don't know about you but
that is certainly going on my registry! in addition to it being just a
traditional registry website it's sort of like this back-end suite of all the
tools you would need if you were a bride... everything from the guest list function
where you can manually add in all of your wedding guests, there's an
awesome checklist function that basically you would enter in the date of
your wedding and then it back fills and kind of tells you exactly which month
you need to be doing what to stay on track for this event. we actually decided
to move forward with a bit of an unconventional save the date so instead
of sending out save the date cards Michael and I made a little save the
date video. we haven't sent it out yet so I don't want to ruin it and show it...
so yes we did
decide to move forward with a bit of an alternative save the date option but
Zola does actually offer over 100 really beautiful invitation suites. they have
invitations, save the dates, and RSVP cards and it's fully integrated with
that back-end system where you've put in all of your guests so it basically can
autofill the addresses from that guest list. it is really fun I actually got
sucked down a rabbit hole for a couple hours of popping me and Michael into a
few different templates and seeing how we looked. I do want to go around this
apartment and show you some of the early engagement presents that we've gotten
from some friends and family in this drawer right here which is some kitchen
appliances. I've got this cake cutter from the Mauers who are my really close
family friends. my friend, Liz, went to Hopkins with me this is from her and her
parents.
I believe they got it on Etsy and it's a cake cutter that we are gonna use to cut
our wedding cake which is another thing that I forgot to mention we didn't pick.
yet so we still need a wedding cake, but it's one of those cake cutters it says "I
made a wish and you came true" and then there's a mr. and a mrs. fork. and
we are most certainly going to eat our cake off of these on the wedding day.
also in this cabinet up here Michael's grandparents' close friends sent us these
crystal champagne glasses. they're some of my favorite glasses for sure. my
friend Lauren, the one who just got married this past month actually, gave us
this the first time she saw us after our engagement -- the photo from our engagement
in this adorable little cube. we've received a couple of eye masks actually -
this company Slip sent us these silk eye masks that say mr. and mrs. and then my
friend Julie sent us another pair of eye masks from Jonathan Adler. they're really
really cute the back of them is so soft and they also come with ear plugs.
as far as Michael and I are concerned you can never have too many eye masks.
moving on to the hallway in this closet I've got a couple goodies. first and
foremost there's this denim jean jacket from Levi's that my friends Hannah and
Haley got me, and from the front looks just like a normal jean jacket but from
the back -- Mrs. Morris. speaking of Mrs. Morris my friend Rose sent me this.. one
of my favorite things and something I'm definitely gonna be bringing to the
wedding day and hanging my gown on. so I'm having a lot of fun planning this
wedding and the main reason is just because I'm marrying Michael. September
2019 I'm gonna be walking down that aisle saying yes adding another ring to
this and it's gonna be official. I'm also still trying to figure out what type of
wedding band would go nicely with this ring so if anyone's got suggestions
comment below. and one other thing I just was reminded of because I saw this globe
and I like spinning it - we have no idea where we're gonna go for our honeymoon.
that's another thing I would love suggestions on -- so we want to go
somewhere relaxing and warm but we're kind of open to ideas - share yours below
and you know if you, yourself, went on a dream honeymoon
and it was amazing and you highly recommend it please let us know where
you went, and what hotel you stayed at, and how much it cost. there are gonna be so
many other steps of this amazing process that I'm going to want to share with you
guys so follow me on instagram @LucieBFink because I'll be doing most of
the sharing there but also if you're not yet subscribed be sure to click right
here and subscribe now because I will be uploading more wedding related videos
right here. and if you click on the little bell in the description box below
you'll also get an email notification every time I upload and you'll never
miss one ever! and I'll see you next time right here on YouTube bye guys

BACK IN AMERICA | DAY IN THE LIFE - Duration: 9:55.
hey guys it's your girl jelly
you guys I arrived at 10 a.m. I was dead I went out to eat my favorite
restaurant red iguana I I did an apostol I did some like government for
Israel that they needed so I can live there illegally I won't get deported
again fingers crossed but yeah im back and peep the nighty nighty
little nightgown my mom's because all my clothes are dirty and I'm washing them
but I have the weirdest night sleep I thoughtlessly bit like 4 p.m. yesterday
you're gonna woke up about like 1:00 in the morning I couldn't go back to bed
coz my sleep schedule is so messed up but I was really hungry and I remember I
packed in my book bag when I was traveling like some granola bars from
Israel well wait my hand looks that weird
these are good what and then I packed these they're called
cheeky monkey I don't know what the bottom says cuz it's all in Hebrew but
you you guys I thought it was just gonna be like Cheetos but then I looked at it
and it's like puffs Cheetos and I don't really like puff cheeto sama and I just
give him a try whatever I taste now they're peanut butter flavor like it's
the most disgusting thing ever you know I was like starving when I look about
wanting in fYI that's why I was like going through all my food the other
gross but I just better got done doing the annotations for the video
and my I packed and it's my video that I packed for Israel you guys the ending
well my hands guys the ending is seriously so stupid like Elijah made me
lose it a problem as you guys look at my skin every time I go on an airplane or
like before I go on an airplane I just break out like my my body knows what I'm
about to go on an airplane I think it's just like stress I think a lot of it is
like airplane like stuffiness like I don't wash my face and I always touch my
face when I'm falling asleep I'm like you know on an airplane because you're
trying to get comfortable but shout out to the guy next to me that let me use
his neck pillow I've literally bodied his neck pillow I was like laying on my lap
trying to fall asleep and he like is like oh do I like borrow my netbook like
yeah by use his neck pillow like the whole 12 hours all's on that flight from
Tel Aviv to New York and you're gonna aspirate but I felt bad but cuz he was
like he literally can't fall asleep like his neck Allah but I just felt bad but I
really didn't it couldn't call really good night sleep on the airplane so sad
to you I know you don't know how I have a youtube but thanks buddy well say I am
proud to be an American citizen in America so excited I've been crammed up
on an airplane for over 28 hours in my speaks Hebrew so I was the only American
and that's why I'm talking so fast cuz I'm so excited to be speaking English to
people what to my camera so but I've got to go work yeah because you know when
you're just like on an airplane and you just feel gross after so I'm just gonna
go get my energy out yeah yeah yeah I'm on my way to see my best friend Malia
bang and you guys I am driving the Land Rover
today and is seriously it feels like I'm driving a semi compared to our car back
home in Israel which is like a smart car sighs but I don't know I feels good to
be back especially driving on like a regular freeway like it Israel there's
lonely like regular roads those brown roads not even stoplights because it's
so small so it's definitely different I feel like I'm a little bit more
aggressive like a little too aggressive for your time it's only been two weeks
I've been gone so I can't wait tell I come back next summer and I'm gonna be
like a freaking crazy drive alongside everyone but we'll see okay I just
really found a parking spot oh my gosh it's so sunny up
I'm seriously not used to driving this big of a car like that car way too big
to drive okay so I'm supposed to find 932 I think she said 950 back I just
really got done chatting with my friend Malia she's the cutest person but your
girls at walgreens literally I haven't brushed my teeth in like two
hours and not two hours two freaking days you guys two days you know I did
that like one thing where you use your finger you put two things I finger you
tried scrubbing no you guys I need a frickin loose brush South at Walgreens
shopping at Walgreens yeah seriously they have the best stuff
well they seriously have the best stuff I just wandering it's off of the
bangerter exit and Draper and it's right next to Herman they seriously have the
best beauty products like they've everything so I went in for a toothbrush
caught my toothbrush pink super cute then I can see the
makeup aisle and I saw a sharpener and I needed one because I have like a Mac lip
liner that's dull and I I don't want to spend like $20 on a Mac sharpener so I
found this one for a dollar and then when I was at checkout they had like all
those like scenes by checkout which definitely get you like I'm not even
joking like shy wanna but I've left all of my beauty products at home and I
usually rub witch-hazel my face so I got a little mini one it's just more so
Marcel our cleansing water I don't really know how to say it but I got one
of these I've heard people love this or witch hazel so I'm going to try out this
and when I'm done with the bottle I'm just gonna dump my what table into it
and then I can go on my trips and stuff when I travel to Tel Aviv for games so
has everything I got I'm about to go on FaceTime Elijah and I see this girl got
done with his game he freaking hit it killed it got 22 game 20 I can't talk
today and he got 22 points my baby for getting killed
so we're happy we're happy and there's cars that are looking at me it's a good
thing this Land Rovers a little bit tinted
because I'd be a problem so I'm on my way
Oh fall asleep but I love you guys so much thanks for
watching and definitely go and subscribe to our channel see you guys videos

TUTORIEL - COMMENT METTRE DES SCLERAS - Duration: 3:36.
Hello you !
This video is following the previous contact lense tutorial.
I 've detailed all precautions to wear contact lenses, classics or scleras.
I will do bad job if I wasn't telling you to visit an ophtalmologist.
Go visit him before trying lenses. He will check if your eyes can wear contacts to avoid any problems.
Your health is precious, your eyes are useful too.
Pamper them, take care of them, they're your best allies to watch movies during evenings.
What are scleras ?
The biggest difference between scleras and regular contact is in their size.
Regular lenses measures about 14 mm in diameter, approximately 1.5 cm to put them on your iris.
Scleras measures about 22 mm.
22 mm on paper, it's kind of an abstract fact but on your eye the difference is clear.
And it's precisely this inhuman effect that is wanted. Even if there is no make-up, the change is already big.
Unfortunately the harsh fact of this kind of lense is that they're sold without corrections on websites.
Or if you want corrections, you need to do them on custom-made but it will cost you 150 dollars.
So if you are myopic, you're not going to have in the easy way. But it's worth the money for a photoshoot or a convention.
Anyway, this kind of lenses are not made for a daily use.
How put on and remove scleras ?
If you had problems with regular lenses, it will be worst with scleras !
Ah ! I should reassure and guide you to put your lenses ? Nop :D
I want to be honest. The key is patience. No need to be stressed, it will irritate your eye.
If it's not working, take a big breath, take a break and come back after. In a word : take your time.
First of all, wash your hands. It's obvious but I assume to explain.
Get your lenses out of their container. Prepare your lenses and put them in a lense case, which need to be fill with a lense solution.
This product will clean your babies, and NEED to do it at least during 6 hours to be effective.
After that, let's begin the most difficult part.
Open your eye and maintain the eyelid with one hand, slide the sclera under the upper lid.
After that, maintain the sclera with your hand.
And with the hand which maintain the upper lid, dislodge the lower lid to allow the sclera to slide under it.
Like for regular lenses,
when the sclera is on your eye, you need to push the air outside it by press gently on it.
Ok we will not let you with this big lense on your eye !!!
To remove them, take your lense case and fill it enough quantity of lense solution.
Before handling, it's important to wash your hands.
Hygiene, yes ! But it's not when you have infections that you need to worry about !
Pinch the lense between two fingers to take off it from your eye. Put it inside the palm of your hand, like for regular lense.
Fill a few of solution and rub the lense with one finger.
And finally, put it in the lense case.
Well, I think I said all I wanted to say about contact lenses !
Oh yes ! If you have any questions, ask them to an optician or an opthalmologyst.
They are the most qualified people to inform you about this medical device.
I'm not a doctor. And these tutorials are created only to inform and introduce you to contact lenses.
It's the same for all my videos, you are your own defenders.
(Laugh) Ok...
He will check if your eyes...
Go visit him before to wear lenses, I knew I've forgotten something.
I've forgotten a part no ?

THE BEST VEGAN BURGER | Recipe by Mary's Test Kitchen - Duration: 14:22.
Hello friends and not yet friends,
Welcome back to Mary's Test Kitchen, where we're making vegan food fun again.
This time, making vegan burgers even more fun than they already are.
This burger is meaty.
Toothsome.
Actually juicy.
And perfect for grilling outdoors or indoors.
The kind of hearty high protein burger that will actually keep you full.
Veggie burger lovers, you know what I mean.
Before we begin, I'd like to give a special thanks to today's sponsor: Four Sigmatic,
the company that makes superfood mushrooms a little less weird and actually delicious
by blending functional mushrooms like Reishi, Chaga, Cordyceps, and Lion's Mane, as well
as other superfoods into coffee, matcha and other tasty drinks.
Use the link in the description and get 15% off your first order from Four Sigmatic.
Our first order of business for making the juiciest vegan burgers is getting the ingredients
together.
The base of the burger will be vital wheat gluten which is mainly protein but it needs
flavour and colour.
Beginning with beets from a can into a blender.
Also for color but more so for taste, tomato juice drained from a can of whole tomatoes.
Tomatoes are naturally high in glutamate which is responsible for making foods taste mouth
wateringly good.
We'll need some water to help everything blend together.
Add paprika and black pepper.
Next, dried porcini mushoom that I blended into a powder.
That's another glutamate bomb.
If porcini isn't easy for you to get, try shiitake instead.
Then concentrated vegetable base.
You can use whatever type you like.
Just use the equivalent meant to make 3 cups of broth according to your package.
Last but not least, and in fact very essential to cut the wheaty wheat flavour of gluten:
balsamic vinegar.
And blend.
Blend until there are no more visible chunks of beets and the mixture is pretty smooth
and looks a little violent.
But it's not actually, so calm down you over there about to type plants have feelings in
the comments below.
I see you.
Then we'll mix in the vital wheat gluten.
Also know as gluten flour, this stuff is super fine and flies around everywhere so be gentle with it.
After that's mixed in, add more but hold back some.
Depending on the moisture in the beets and perhaps the level of fiber in the tomato juice,
sometimes you don't need as much flour or you might need a smidge more.
Let's see.
The dough should be soft but not squishy with wetness.
It will get more tough as you knead it over a few minutes.
Not too long.
If your dough looks wetter than this or feels really soft, you can knead in a little more
gluten.
Next divide the dough.
For big thick restaurant style burgers, divide into 6.
I'm using a scale for exactness but you of course don't have to. Because these are your vegan burgers and there
are no rules.
After you have your dough balls, you'll want to knead them a little more.
Form them into tighter balls by kneading the edges towards the middle.
This will help them maintain their shape while cooking.
I also want some thinner fast food style burgers so I'll divide the last two into four.
Finally, let's roll these out so they get wider and flatter, keeping in mind that these
will double in size after cooking.
This dough likes to spring back.
Just keep going and show that gluten who's boss.
That would be you, by the way.
This will do.
Time to cook.
I've got my biggest pot with a bit of veggie broth in it.
Add the burgers.
Then cover them completely with more veggie broth.
Turn up the heat and bring the broth to a simmer.
But watch this like a hawk.
You don't want to let it come to a rolling boil.
Turn the heat down to low, cover, and let the burgers simmer in there for an hour.
The steady simmer will cook the burgers and infuse them with tasty broth so they'll come
out juicy.
But if you let this boil rapidly, the seitan will quickly turn to mushy brains.
You can also cook these in the oven instead which is a little easier.
Just cover them in broth in a roasting pan or dutch oven.
Cover and bake for an hour at 350°F. Either way, you'll want to flip the stacks of burgers
upside down halfway through.
And at this point, you deserve a break.
You worked hard.
How about a matcha frappe?
I used to work at a coffee shop where I learned the secret of why matcha frappes tasted so
good.
But first, the matcha itself.
Matcha is really whole green tea, ground up so it retains every good thing about tea.
Caffeine for a little pep but also L-theanine, a relaxing amino acid so the kick is balanced.
You can use whatever matcha is in your cupboards but this Four Sigmatic blend also has Lion's
Mane for it's brain-boosting effects, astragalus which is used as an adatogen, and ginger for
good digestion.
Which is nice because the secret to creamy delicious matcha frappes is ice cream.
Coffee shops often use ice cream milk, a blend that is made to pour into ice cream makers
to make ice cream.
It's super high in fat and sugar.
There's no vegan version so let's use your favourite vegan vanilla ice cream.
The creamier the better.
And blend.
You can add a little vanilla milk if you like or just let your blender do all the work.
And there you have it.
Add some coconut whip if you like and finish with a little extra matcha.
And enjoy until the weather turns cold.
Which it did the day I filmed this actually.
It snowed.
But I'll still pretend it's warm. So this drink feels refreshing instead of turning me into a popsicle.
When your burgers are cooked, they'll have expanded.
I added some broth midway so that's why there's still so much broth but yours might be poking
out.
That's okay as long as you flipped them.
Now they can go straight on the grill or you can store them.
Make sure you do store them in broth so they stay juicy.
Three to five days in the fridge or you can freeze them for up to two months.
Even though there was snow on the balcony, I braved the elements for you.
If it's still grilling season where you are, heat up your grill to about 450-500°F-ish
and lay them out.
Brush the burgers on both sides with oil.
I'm using olive oil infused with fresh crushed garlic for extra flavour.
You could add your favourite burger seasoning if you want, of course.
Let me know what kind of herb and spice blends you like best in the comments below.
Since these are already fully cooked, you just want to get some colour on without drying
them out.
But unlike other vegan burgers, these aren't that easy to dry out.
Especially if you keep basting them.
I grilled these about four minutes each side.
My gas was running out so only one side really got the char on but you get the idea.
Inside, I got the buns and fillings ready.
For a thick burger, you really want a good sized bun.
Preferably toasted on the inside for that soft versus crunchy textural experience.
And on they go.
Isn't that glorious?
Meaty.
Juicy.
Can you see that juiciness?
It's no ordinary vegan burger.
Yes, you put a lot of work into it.
But it's worth it.
So worth it that the next day, you got to put some more burgers on the grill.
This time, an indoor grill pan because it's too cold and you're out of propane.
You do the same thing with the oil baste.
These burgers are practically fat free otherwise.
While they're on the grill, get yer burger stuff ready.
Why not go for a double decker?
Get your sesame seed buns toasted.
For each, you'll need a whole bun, top and bottom, and another bottom for the middle.
The top is the crown, one of the bottoms becomes the middle (aka the club) and the actual bottom
is called the heel.
Did I ever tell you I worked at McDonald's during high school.
Let's make some vegan big macs.
The special sauce is vegan mayo, paprika, chopped pickles, onion powder, garlic powder,
a smidge of mustard, and a splash of vinegar.
Then rehydrated previously dried onions.
You can find them in the spice aisle.
Then shredded lettuce.
I'm using the wrong lettuce to be honest.
Iceberg is the real thing.
Is green leaf lettuce slightly more nutritious?
I think so.
Two pickles go on the club, then a slice of cheese on the heel.
I'm using a homemade vegan cheddar that I'm working on.
It's not quite ready yet but feel free to subscribe and hit that notification button
so you'll know when I'm 100% happy with it and ready to share.
And I'm such a pro that this took 30 seconds and the burger patties aren't ready yet.
Better make some drinks.
Like this mushroom lemonade.
Doesn't look like any other lemonade mix I've tried before.
But it's pretty cool.
You can just add regular water.
But c'mon, that's not especially fun.
Let's add sparkling water.
It's sugar free and doesn't taste sugar free.
Tastes super good.
While the soda's out, let's try another one.
I had this mushroom elixer hot already as a tea and it really reminds me of an herbal
drink I enjoyed growing up called Hak Gu Cho.
Sorry, I don't know the english name.
Anyways, I thought it would be perfect in rootbeer.
And I was right.
What can I say, I'm kind of a genius.
Now them burgers are ready and all we're missing is fries.
But you won't miss anything for long because...
This is what vegan burger dreams are made of.
Two all wheat patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed
bun.
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I really hope you make these burgers.
Thick or thin.
Pub style or fast food style.
Grilled outdoors or in.
Unless you're gluten-free I guess, in which case, please be patient with me...I'm working
on a gf version.
Not there yet but I will not give up!
Because I love you too.
You know who you are.
Again, thank you so much to Four Sigmatic for supporting this video. They have so many
awesome products that make superfood mushrooms fun again!
Their site makes it easy to sort through the benefits or the particular mushroom you're
looking for, or the type of drink you like best.
Like if you want to be more productive, focused, and creative: try the Mushroom Coffee with
Lion's Mane.
You might've seen my first impresson of this on my last What I Ate video.
Since then, it's become my weekday morning addiction!
Then in the afternoon, I go for the matcha.
Not usually blending with vegan ice cream.
I love matcha and especially with astragalus which I'm familiar with because it's used
in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
It's used as an anti-inflammatory and I always try to add anti-inflammatory foods to my diet
because of my tendonitus issues.
Plus it's used to boost the immune system.
Perfect for this time of year.
If you can't decide, there are sampler packs so you can try a bunch.
Remember you'll get 15% off your first purchase so get on it!
Thanks so much for watching my friends.
I really hope you enjoyed this extra long video.
Please give it a thumbs up if you did and subscribe if you haven't already for more
vegan fun food.
If you're already subscribed thanks so much for coming back again and again and supporting
me especially my channel members who are helping me with monthly support which I appreciate
so so much.
You guys are making a huge difference.
Anyways, I love you all.
Bye for now!

These 3 Fatal Habits Are Keeping You From Getting A Girlfriend - Duration: 5:42.
Tripp Kramer here from www.trippadvice.com. There are some
things that you are doing that are completely preventing you from getting a
girlfriend. If you want a girlfriend then you better pay attention here
because these are things that if you can fix and tweak, it is going to
significantly increase your chances of being able to attract women and get the
girlfriend that you desire. Let's start from the very beginning.
Like before you even talk to a girl what is the one habit that is killing your
chances? Well you are probably in a very powerful bad habit that is
preventing you from meeting girls because you're not going out to meet girls.
What the habit is is trying to completely stay to yourself, never talk
to another human human being, never talk to a stranger, not trying to chat up
anyone around you and not being social. This is a habit that a lot of people have.
When they leave the house, they're really in their own mind, they want to
ignore and avoid everyone else and this is causing you to weaken your social
muscle. You have a social muscle that needs to be strengthened and the
only way to do that is by talking to people. Specifically in this case
more girls. It's very easy to go out and not pay attention to anyone else and so
what happens is you get more and more nervous. It's like you're building up
this big big nervous energy because you're not getting used to talking to
strangers so you're never gonna meet any girls. Yeah you could sit at home and
swipe and all that stuff but I'm guessing if you're watching this video
then that is not working out for you so if you want to be able to break this
habit, you need to go out more and make it a goal to talk to people who you
don't normally talk to you so when you finally get the chance and see that one
girl that you want to make conversation with, it's not gonna be as hard.
Another habit that I know all of you guys do because I hear you in the comments and I
see what you're saying, is that you're probably not flirting with a girl so
let's just say you are meeting women wherever.
Maybe at work, at class, maybe at bars, maybe through friends at parties.
All those wonderful places and your habit is you're not getting on a
flirtatious level with her. What happens? You get thrown into the
friendzone. Yes this is a habit. It's a habit of just
having normal kind of lame boring conversation without spicing it up.
You're a little bit nervous. You're afraid to get rejected so you don't say
anything that's gonna rock the boat. Trust me I get it. I was there once too.
It's really easy to just play it safe so you don't get rejected. You're in this
terrible habit of not escalating further in the conversation to a flirtatious
level to let her know that you're interested and therefore end up landing
in the friendzone. Number three; let's take this even further. Let's say that
you end up dating a girl, it's going well, you've been on a few dates and you guys have
already had sex. Maybe you're not the best in the bedroom so you are not
having what could be the optimal sexual experience with your woman and
if you're not good in bed and you guys aren't connecting on a sexual level.
Maybe she's not good in bed. Something's happening where there is a
disconnect. This is gonna prevent you guys from going further. This is gonna
prevent you guys from being in a relationship because that is more than
half of the relationship; the sexual connection. Well lucky for you, we're
gonna fix that because I have a blog post written by our famous sex coach
Caitlin V Neal. It is in the description and you'll learn there all about
how to be amazing in the bedroom. I'm also going to put two videos in the
description as well that's gonna help you with flirting. I know that a lot
of guys have that problem and I go deeper into that concept in there.
Check all that out down below but remember, keep this in mind, everything is
important when it comes to the mindset here. The mindset, these habits.
Remember, when you're out and about, chat up strangers. When you're finally
talking to a girl, don't forget to flirt. When you guys finally make
it to the bedroom, use some of the special techniques that you're gonna
learn in that blog post in the bedroom with her so again you're gonna have
that optimal experience for the both of you. This awareness is key. That's what's
gonna help you kill these bad habits and then put in good ones. Check those out
and I'll see you on the next video. If you're having trouble meeting hot
women in your town and getting them interested in you then listen up. I have
an undetectable way of getting girls instantly attracted to you even if
you're ugly, broke and live at home with your parents.
This system has worked for thousands of guys and it can work for you too.
I teach it in my program called Hooked where you'll also learn two behaviors
most men do that instantly destroys any attraction, my three-step friendzone
escape plan to reset her feelings for you and get her liking you, 30 different
pre-written texts to send a girl that make her want to meet up with you and
how to have unshakable confidence so you can approach any beautiful woman in any
place. If you want to learn this and how to get women hooked on you then go
to www.getherhooked.com. Again that's www.getherhooked.com.

Stephen Kantrowitz: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com - Duration: 11:12.
Stephen Kantrowitz: Things Fast Facts You Need to Know | Heavy.com
Steve Kantrowitz was a classmate of Brett Kavanaugh's at Yale.
On September 25, Kantrowitz tweeted that Kavanaugh had talked to him about his sexual history while they were both freshmen at Yale.
Kantrowitz didn't go into any detail, but he implied that Kavanaugh had boasted to him about possible sexual exploits.
If true, this would contradict Kavanaugh's statement to Fox News that he was a virgin in high school and for many years after high school.
Katrowitz wrote,.
"Perhaps Brett Kavanaugh was a virgin for many years after high school.
But he claimed otherwise in a conversation with me during our freshman year in Lawrance Hall at Yale, in the living room of my suite.".
Here's what you need to know about Stephen Kantrowitz:.
Kantrowitz Said Kavanaugh Told Him All About His Experience Losing His Virginity.
Kantrowitz has said he doesn't want to say much about his decades-ago conversation with Kavanaugh, when both men were freshmen.
But he told a Law and Crime reporter that he "felt compelled" to say something after watching Kavanaugh tell Fox News that he had been a virgin for many years after high school.
Kantrowitz said he feels it's important for a Supreme Court justice to be honest, which is why he came forward with his story.
Kantrowitz told Law and Crime that Kavanaugh had described to him how he lost his virginity.
Here is Kantrowitz's statement about Kavanaugh, as sent to Law and Crime:.
"I felt compelled to reveal a private conversation I had with a classmate in our freshman year at Yale because of the tremendous importance of honesty and integrity to serving as a Justice of the Supreme Court.
My conversation with Brett Kavanaugh raises doubt about a statement he made on September 24 on national television.
Contrary to his assertion that he remained a virgin "for many years" after high school, during our freshman year he described losing his virginity.
I remember this distinctly because it was the first time I had had such a conversation with an acquaintance who was not a friend.
I have no first-hand knowledge of any of the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, but I thought this conversation was relevant as it goes to the question of his truthfulness.".
Kantrowitz Is an Award-Winning History Professor Who Writes About the History of the White Supremacy Movement.
Kantrowitz is a professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he teaches graduate and undergraduate classes on 19th century American history.
He describes himself as " a historian of race, politics, and citizenship in the nineteenth-century United States" and says that he is especially interested in the Civil War.
Kantrowitz has written a number of books about the evolution of race relations and white supremacy movements in 19th century America.
His other scholarly focus is on American Indian studies, and he has researched the changing position of Native Americans in America in the 19th century.
Kantrowitz holds a PhD and an MA from Princeton, and a BA from Yale.
He has won several teaching awards, including a Chancellor's Award for Distinguished Teaching (2001) and the UW-Madison History Organization "Instructor of the Year" (2010).
Kantrowitz Said He and Kavanaugh Were Not Friends.
In a statement released this afternoon, Kantrowitz described Kavanaugh as "an acquaintance, not a friend." The two were freshmen at Yale at the same time, and they knew each other.
Kantrowitz says that the two of them were never friends, really.
He says that's why he was so surprised when Kavanaugh opened up to him about his experience losing his virginity.
Here is Kantrowitz's statement:.

I have no first-hand knowledge of any of the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh, but I thought this conversation was relevant as it goes to the question of his truthfulness.".
Kantrowitz Has Been Following the Kavanaugh Nomination Process Very, Very Closely.
Like many Americans, Kantrowitz appears to have been watching the Kavanaugh nomination process very closely indeed.
His twitter feed is full of tweets and retweets about the ins and outs of the Kavanaugh news cycle.
Kantrowitz has been tweeting critically about Republican support for Kavanaugh.
He has called out former president George W Bush for supporting Kavanaugh.
He has also criticized ordinary Republicans for — he says — living in a sort of dream world in which they can't tell the difference between what's real and what is imaginary.
Kantrowitz tweeted about the so-called "doppelganger" theory, a theory which said that Christine Ford had mis-identified Kavanaugh and that in fact, it was a different, but similar-looking man who had tried to assault her.
Kantrowitz wrote about this theory, saying, "The Kavanaugh-doppelganger thread unintentionally suggests an alternate theory: even the "adults" in today's GOP can no longer distinguish truth from lies from batshit crazy.".
Kantrowitz Says He Doesn't Want to Comment on the Case Any Further.
Kantrowitz doesn't want to do a sit-down interview about his relationship with Kavanaugh; he doesn't want to be bombarded by reporters asking him lots of questions about his time at Yale with the Supreme Court nominee.
Kantrowitz says that, in fact, he doesn't want to comment on the case any more.
Hours after his explosive tweet about Kavanaugh, when reporters had been hounding him for more information, Kantrowitz finally released a statement.
The end of that statement was very clear.
He wrote, "I will not be commenting further.
Thank you.".
Here is the rest of that statement:.

Signs of a Toxic Relationship | Knowing When to Let Go (The Four Horsemen) - Duration: 4:47.
It's so common for clients to ask for help identifying whether a relationship
is toxic, but what does that even mean? In this video I go over four signs of toxic
relationships and offer tools to help you navigate them.
Hi there! I'm Dr. Marie Fang, licensed psychologist. Welcome to my video series
featuring tips and tools to help you be your best self today. Today we're talking
about toxic relationships. Toxic relationships aren't just limited to
significant other relationships and our conventional understanding of what that
means. They can also occur in parent-child relationships, employer-
employee relationships, friendships, and any other number of relationships that
can occur. Let's go over some signs of toxic relationships. Dr. John Gottman's
research on committed relationships identified four communication styles that
are predictors of the demise of romantic relationships. He calls these
communication styles the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. I know it sounds scary!
I'm going to walk you through them. And I've found in my experience that these
communication styles are applicable to all kinds of relationships, not just
romantic ones. The good news is, even if one or more of these communication
styles is present in your relationship, it doesn't mean your relationship is
doomed. There are antidotes for each of these
styles which I'll go over with you. And truthfully, all relationships demonstrate
at least one of these characteristics at some point in the relationship. Let's go
over the Four Horsemen and their antidotes. Number one: Criticism. Criticism
is an attack on a person's personality or character. For example: "You are a bad
person. You're so selfish! You always have to be right."
The antidote to a critical communication style is using I-statements rather than
putting the blame on the other person. Fortunately, I've made a whole video
about I-statements, so I'll link to that in the description box or you can click
on it somewhere up here. Number 2: Contempt. This is when someone speaks to
you as though they are better than you. So this could manifest as sarcasm: "Oh
you're just the queen of the world aren't you?"
Mockery: "I can't even believe you thought that was a good idea!" Cynicism: "You're
never going to get it right." and more: [scoffs] The antidote to contempt is taking
moments to practice gratitude within the relationship and taking time to notice
each other's positive attributes, Number three: Defensiveness. If someone
continually reacts to you by playing the victim, they're being defensive. This
shuts down any opportunity to equally discuss whatever issue is at hand.
The antidote to defensiveness is taking responsibility
for one's participation in a conflict and apologizing for any wrongdoing.
Number four: Stonewalling. This is when someone withdraws from a conversation
and never returns to willingly seek resolution. Stonewalling often occurs as
a result of buildup of one of the first three toxic communication styles. The
antidote to stonewalling is inserting breaks. When there's a conflict, take
some time to step away, cool off and regroup, and then make sure to return to
the conflict and find healthy ways to problem-solve and resolve whatever has
happened. The key to resolving any of these toxic communication dynamics is
that both parties must take responsibility for making change. If only
one of the two of you is committed to change, it's not enough to turn the
problem around. If someone in your life is demonstrating any of these toxic
characteristics, consider whether there's safety in the relationship to bring it
up with them. If you bring it up and they demonstrate unwillingness to work
towards change, this may be a sign to set up boundaries, and if necessary, to
let go of the relationship. Sometimes an individual expresses a desire to make
changes, but then they never deliver on their promise. So keep an eye on their
behavior and be sure to return to the topic if needed to pursue change. If they
continuously make promises that they never follow through on, again it may be
time to consider setting boundaries, and if needed, to let go of that relationship.
Let me be absolutely clear that this is by no means a comprehensive list of all
forms of toxic relationships. So if you're in a relationship that is
directly harmful or abusive towards you I encourage you to find safety and seek
the support of safe people or professionals as needed. Hopefully you
found this video helpful to identifying toxic dynamics in relationships and
when it's appropriate to let go. Until next time, I'm Dr. Marie Fang and I hope
you have a great day. Please subscribe for more videos like this

Whitney Sews 100k Subscriber Giveaway - Duration: 10:51.
hi everyone I am here today with a
really exciting video and that is
because on Saturday Whitney Sews reached
100,000 subscribers I am so excited I
have been looking forward to this for so
long and I wanted to thank every one of
you for subscribing for watching my
videos for sharing them for clicking
like and commenting and everything else
that you do to support my channel it has
been such an exciting time I started
this channel back in 2009 well I started
the channel before that but that's when
I started posting Whitney Sews content
and the very first video was made for a
school project for my final for video
production to I had to make a video that
showed my style as a director I didn't
really have a style as a director so I
kind of convinced my teacher that
instead I wanted to do a video that
showed how to create your own style and
she said it was okay so I created the
first Whitney Sews video which was a
t-shirt reconstruction I did two
different projects in it and you can
tell that video was really like scripted
and formal and everything because I was
trying to kind of present it as though
it was like a TV show and then as usual
I posted it on YouTube which I did with
all of my class projects and people
liked it I shared it on a t-shirt
reconstruction LiveJournal group that I
was in and everyone liked it so I
decided to make another video the next
week and I just kept making them and
it's been over nine years now and yeah I
posted weekly for over nine years I did
take a couple of short breaks in there
no longer than a month but yeah it's
been a very exciting journey so to
celebrate this I wanted to have a huge
giveaway this is the biggest giveaway
and that I have ever done so I want to
get right into showing you what is
going to be indie giveaway so first off
I did share a sneak peak of some of
these items a little while back but
first up is a set of four rulers from
Arteza these are the square rulers
they are in twelve and a half inches
nine and a half inches six inches and
four and a half inches so I love using
square rulers they are very handy for a
lot of different projects especially
squaring up quilt blocks so these are
really great and by the way I will have
links down below in the description box
so everything that I show that I can
find a link to I will have it down below
so if you want more details on anything
definitely check out those links down
there but yeah so four square rulers from
Arteza these were kindly sent by
the people at Arteza they provided
these for the giveaway which was so very
kind of them they also sent along a six
by twelve inch ruler this is a really
great size I don't have a ruler this
size and I wish I did
but I'm being nice and I'm including
this in the giveaway instead of keeping
it for myself so like I said those were
all sent by our Arteza which was super
nice I'm also including some things that
I purchased myself for the winner and
the first step is the fiskars basic a 45
millimeter rotary cutter I love this
rotary cutter I have one of them myself
in the blue and white design it's a
really just great basic rotary cutter
that I think works for everything so
there is that there is also my favorite
craft clips I use these so much so I
wanted to make sure to send along some
of my favorite supplies so that's why I
bought the rotary cutter the craft clips
a few other things because I want you
all to have the supplies that I love
using on a regular basis and that you
see in some of my videos so this is a
100 craft Clips so handy I use them for
sewing I also use them as chip clips in
the kitchen because you know chip clips
are necessary
but they are really great to have and
useful I also am including the memory
bear pattern that I love using this is
the simplicity it's so easy 2115 I
use this to make all my memory bears
I sell memory bears on the side I have a
separate business where I do that and
I've made tons of them and this is the
patterns that I use for all of them and
to go along with that you of course
cannot make memory bears without the
eyes and nose so I'm including 2 full
sets of eyes and nose for the memory
bears that you make from the pattern
these are the ones that I use for all of
my memory bears they are from Hobby
Lobby and I love them because they are
very reliable I don't have any problems
with the quality the backings are very
strong and once they are snapped
together they are a child safe and will
not come off I love the size of them and
everything like I said the links for
everything is down below in the
description box so check them out there
if you have been looking for eyes and
noses for your memory bears or other
stuffed animal projects i am also
including some thread this is the
Mettler polyester thread I've been using
this a ton lately I bought a huge
quantity of it and I really really liked
the quality of it so I'm passing some
along to the winner I forgot to show
with the rulers there is also some of
the non-slip adhesive that you can add
to the back of your ruler if you're
having trouble of it sliding around
while you're trying to cut with it you
can just add these onto the backing and
they will help your ruler stay in place
better so those were sent by Arteza as
well I also have a few zippers I am
throwing in it's just great to always
have some zippers on hand I got these
for a really good stock up price so I am
including some in the package then also
I am including something handmade
it is the Cheyenne rope bag that I made
a few months back this was a hugely
popular video and I have not actually
carried the bag yet and I thought you
know what instead of this sitting in my
sewing room any longer I'm going to go
ahead and pass it on to the winner of
this giveaway so the Cheyenne rope bag
plus the pattern in case you want to
make your own or if you want to pass the
pattern on to someone else you know will
be in the giveaway I love love love the
fabric of this bag but it is just not
the kind of bag that I really carry I
tend to carry actually a backpack I
carry a ton of stuff around for my kids
and all that and then when I'm not
carrying a backpack I have a little
vintage leather purse that I carry so
I hope the winner gets some use out
of this bag and loves it the last thing
I have to show is something really fun
it's actually a book that my friend
wrote as this book right here it's
called Rook and Shadow by my friend
Angela Marshall she wrote this book um
it took her a few years to write it so
while we were in college together I got
to read the proof of it and then I've
read the finished book a few times and
you may notice that's me on the cover we
did a little photo shoot my last year of
college and it ended up being part of
her cover design so it's just really fun
that I have a book that I am the cover
model of so I have a few copies of the
book so I wanted to give one copy away
there's even a little bookmark and
what's really cool about this is the
cover designs has actually changed now
there is a new cover on the book so this
is one of the limited copies with the
original cover design so not that many
people have this version of the book so
yeah I hope whoever wins this loves are
reading it and yeah it's just even
though it's been a few years it is still
so fun that I am on the cover of a book
that I own
that will never cease to like make me
happy but anyway that is everything that
I have to show for the giveaway I of
course will throw in some more extras I
do that with everything I like to add in
a little extra things while I'm
packaging it up and all of that so I'm
sure there will be more things in the
box when you receive it but that's
everything that I have collected up so
far yeah I am so excited about this like
I said this is the biggest giveaway that
I've ever done so to enter the giveaway
you have to be subscribed to Whitney Ses

How to Make New York Cheesecake | The Stay At Home Chef - Duration: 4:57.
Today on The Stay At Home Chef I'm showing you how to make Perfect New York Cheesecake
Making the perfect New York cheesecake is a lot easier than you
might think and it takes ten minutes tops to get it in the oven. Once it's in
the oven it does take quite a bit of time but really it's super easy.
To make the classic graham cracker crust you'll need two packages of graham
crackers or about sixteen of them. I kind of break a little bit to get them into
that food processor. Then I'm going to pulverize these into small crumbs. Pour
all of your crumbs into a medium sized mixing bowl and then you want to pour in
four tablespoons of melted butter and use a fork to toss this all together.
Now to make this cheesecake you're going to need a 9-inch springform pan. A
springform pan has two pieces the bottom and the side and it uses pressure in
this buckle to keep the two together but they do come apart. Scoop all of your
graham cracker crumbs into the bottom of that springform pan and then you'll want
to use your hands to gently press it down into an even layer. Just press it
down and get it as even as possible. It may still feel a little bit loose but
don't worry that's okay. Next we're gonna put together the cheesecake
You'll need four eight ounce bricks of softened cream cheese and two cups of
granulated sugar and we're gonna mix this together and whip it until it's
nice and fluffy. I like to slowly increase the speed to give it a good
whipping. You can use either a hand mixer or a stand mixer for this. Be sure to
stop and scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl so everything gets mixed in
After about a minute of mixing we're gonna add in one cup of sour cream
Scoop that in there and we're also gonna add in four large eggs
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract. If you want to go super fancy you can also
scrape out the seeds from a six-inch vanilla bean but that can get a little
bit pricey. We'll whip this together for about a minute as well. Be sure to stop
and scrape the sides and bottom for this part as well. Last add in half a cup of
flour to help give our cheesecake some structure and we're gonna mix this in
until the mixture is smooth. Then we're gonna transfer this all into our
springform pan right on top of that graham cracker crust. Then gently smooth
out the top and you can see that this fills our springform pan all the way to
the top. Now the last thing that you want to happen is to have your beautiful
cheesecake crack while it's baking. In order to prevent that I have a couple of
tricks. You're going to take a piece of aluminum foil and crumple it up. Make it
a little bit flat. I have a couple of others that I've done
that with as well and we're gonna make a little elevated portion in the middle of
this tray and place our cheesecake on top of that and we're gonna surround
that cheesecake with ice cubes. Just one layer of ice cubes will do it
This will help our cheesecake bake evenly and prevent cracking. Then we're
gonna bake this in a 350 degree oven for one hour keeping the door closed the
whole time. After an hour don't do anything. Keep the oven door
shut and turn the temperature off. Just let it sit with the oven door shut for
five to six hours so that the Cheesecake can cool super slow. This will also help
prevent cracking. At that point you can safely remove the cheesecake from the
oven. Once it's completely cooled we can remove the springform pan so I'm going
to unbuckle it here and it presses itself out you can see it pulls itself
away from the edges so we can just slide this off. You can serve it up directly on
the springform pan platter or you can carefully transfer it
to a cake platter. If you want to be a little fancier serve it up plain or
top it with your favorite toppings
Thanks for watching! You can find the full written recipe in the video
description. Be sure to subscribe, like, and follow and check out the rest of my

easily make at home. See you later!

The Origins of Beverly: The Soda People Love To Hate - Duration: 5:54.
Over in Epcot, right by the Fountain of Nations in Future World, there's an attraction called
Club Cool.
That's a very loose application of the word attraction by the way, because Club Cool is
essentially a little Coca-Cola sponsored Coca-Cola store.
However beyond just buying drinks and merch, Club Cool also offers free testing stations
where guests can sample select Coca-Cola products from around the world.
Like most soda, the bulk of the offerings have various sweet tastes, ranging from pineapple
to mango to melon.
Then there's Beverly.
It's not as bad as I- oh my gosh!
Why does the Beverly soda taste so bad?
Is it an Italian thing?
Do they just like awful soda over there?
Where did it come from?
Where is it now?
Why do die-hard Disney World fans love, or love to hate, Beverly?
Part of the answer is actually spelled out for us right at Club Cool.
It's not a matter of Americans just having a different palette, it's admittedly a bitter
drink on purpose.
The description posted above the Beverly soda fountain reads "Beverly, with its bitter
flavor, is a popular non-alcoholic aperitif that is a traditional part of Italian refreshment culture."
The key word there is aperitif, because that alone changes the way a drink like Beverly
is meant to be consumed.
Many cultures around the world have a lengthy history of treating digestive ailments with
bitter herbs.
It dates back as far as the middle ages, potentially ever further.
To make them easier to consume, a lot of those bitter herbs would be mixed with alcohol,
and the the resulting concoction eventually went by the name of… well… bitters.
Over the years these bitters eventually evolved from a medicinal treatment to a preventative measure.
That is where the aperitif comes in.
Most popular in France and Italy, the aperitif is a bitter cocktail that's consumed shortly
before a meal as a way of aiding the digestive process and preventing future issues such
as indigestion.
On top that the bitter taste supposedly helps in preparing your palette for the food you're about to enjoy
So with that in mind, the aperitif was not consumed in large quantities nor was it quickly consumed.
It was a modest cocktail you'd casually have before dinner, and it was most of time,
an alcoholic beverage.
However in 1969 at the Fiera di Milano, or Milan Fair, Coca-Cola would introduce a non-alcoholic
aperitif to the Italian market, and it was called Beverly.
Bottled in Monza, Italy, Beverly was advertised to be "cold as Helsinki, sparkling as Rio"
and "dry as El Paso"
It was originally sold in small 3 and 6 ounce bottles, which was fitting considering it
was intended to be enjoyed as an aperitif.
And while it was originally a darker drink, very visually similar to Coca-Cola, the company
would eventually introduce a clear version in 1978.
Considering its purpose and taste, and considering we don't typically partake in aperitifs
here, the drink was never brought over to the United States beyond the fun marketing gimmick.
It was introduced to the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, and in 1998 a Coca-Cola sponsored
attraction called Ice Station Cool, later Club Cool, would open in Future World.
It would offer Americans a free taste of various sodas from around the world, including Beverly.
And while it didn't happen right away, the popularization of vlogging combined with Beverly
being this unexpected and unpleasant experience for many, lead to a cult following around
the practice of getting your unaware friends and family to try the drinks so that you could
capture their reaction on camera.
It would eventually become popular enough that the Coca-Cola Rooftop Bar in Disney Springs
would offer a mixed drink called Beverly's Revenge, which features the soda along with
gin and blood orange liqueur.
Today there are even fan made t-shirts for the soda.
As for Beverly, the drink was eventually discontinued in 2009 and the only real explanation offered
by Coca-Cola was that it was a part of "ongoing product consolidation".
Personally that sounds like PR speak for "it stopped selling well enough".
I couldn't find any Beverly or even Italian specific figures, but I did find that Coca-Cola's
European market as a whole experienced a nearly half billion dollar drop in revenue that year,
so perhaps that played a part in the decision to end the production.
Or perhaps the competition was too much for a market too small.
By that point both Campari and San Pellegrino, two major Italian aperitif brands, had their
own non-alcoholic offerings as well, and while here in the United States Coca-Cola is one
of the most popular brands ever, soda consumption is much lower over in Italy, meaning it wouldn't
be as easy of a market for Coca-Cola to dominate.
So today our, uh, enjoyment of Beverly is limited to these taste test stations at various
spots across the country.
If you find yourself in Epcot, and you wander into Club Cool and you decide to give Beverly
a shot, remember, it wasn't the kind of soft drink enjoyed like this.
It was enjoyed like this.
I still think it tastes nasty like this, but at least now we know that people in Italy
weren't downing the stuff 20 ounces at a time.
