Why it's Illegal to Remove the Catalytic Converter in Your Car - Duration: 5:34.rev up your engines, Adrian says what do you think about removing
the catalytic converter in order to boost the power of a turbocharged engine
is it harmful to the engine, well realize that it's against law to remove a catalytic
converter in United States you're breaking federal law, but I mean I talked to guys
they live in Montana where they don't have any kind of inspection and they do
it, and the only thing that a catalytic converter does, is it slows down
pollution, it burns unburned hydrocarbons if you remove it
from a modern-day car, all the kinds of lights and stuff will come on, but it' isn't gonna
hurt the car will actually run better, cuz it'll breathe better but it will
pollute more, you're braking the law, but the only thing or reason a car has a catalytic
converter is to burn hydrocarbons, if you remove it of course you remove that and
then it will just go through the exhaust and there's less back pressure and when
you set them up right they of course will run better, you know race cars don't
have catalytic converters on them, cold wild says Scotty my car has a check
engine light when I turn the key to accessory, when I start the engine it
goes away, what could it be should I be concerned Thanks, okay no cars are made
that way, here's how it works, if you have a normal car and you turn your car to
the accessory and don't start it, the check engine light is supposed to stay
on that shows you that the bulb still works then when you start the car the
computer does a bunch of tests, if it finds a problem that'll turn the light
on and leave it on, if it doesn't, the light stays off that's totally normal
almost all cars sold in the United States are set up that way, as I tell
people when they're looking for a used car, if you're looking at a used car good
idea to have a scan too, like I showed you get twenty four dollars
scan tool easy cheap enough stuff, but if you don't have a scan tool you turn the
key to the accessory and a check engine light doesn't come on, odds are they took
the bulb out and then you definitely would want to scan it cuz even if they
took the bulb out, the scan tool would still read a problem if there are any
stored inside the computer, Eto says scotty just bought a used 2008 mazda cx9 what
do you think about this SUV, well I would have never bought it, I had a customer
that just bought one of those and then they brought it to me a week after
they bought it, was running like crap and I said you're gonna have to rebuild your
engine it's got a problem it's gonna be anywhere from twenty five to forty five
hundred dollars I am NOT a fan of those things, but you've already bought it, so
change your oil a lot, and on that baby I'd change it every four
five thousand miles religiously, because they do have engine problems as they age, if you
don't have any engine problem and you change the oil every four or five thousand
miles, hey it might be a decent car you never know, but I've had customers have very
bad experience buying those things secondhand there's a lot of them where there
VVT valve system will break down a lot and then it cost thousands to repair
them as they do break down, so if it does run good now yeah I haven't any problems
change the oil all the time, edward says Scotty what do you think of a 2005
pontiac grand prix GXP was two hundred two thousand miles, and a new tranny for six
grand although it does need spark plug wires and a
new ABS passenger side wire, thoughts okay well if it really has a new transmission
I would want the paperwork and I would call the place
that supposedly did the work to see it was really done and six thousand dollars
more than I'd pay for a 14-year old Pontiac but if you like it and it runs
good and that transmission really was a new one put in or remanufactured one
installed in it, ahhh have some fun driving around, just don't drag around in it
because you'll burn that transmission out too, the problem of that vehicle is
the engine is stronger than the transmission, if you want to drive it
normal and use it as a toy car nothing wrong with that, but don't think you can
drive that car as an everyday driver and put thirty thousand miles a year on it
cuz it will fall apart in front of your eyes if you do that
Armando Lopez says Scotty I'm 17 I'm getting a 2009 or 2010 g37 Infiniti
coupe do you think it's reliable, I'm getting from car max do you know about
those cars, okay you're 17 you're getting a g37 Infiniti coupe you're gonna pay up
the wazoo for insurance cuz that's a sports car, the problem with those cars
are they're good cars, they're well make cars but as they age they're expensive
to repair, Nissan Quality has gone down since the company Renault the French
company bought them out and merged with them years ago, the quality isn't what it used
to be the problem with the g37 is, it's a high-tech car they break when they break
the parts cost a fortune, I'll give you an example, I had a customer with
one, the power steering hose went out, the only people that could get it was the
dealer and it was like 350 bucks for hose assembly, where for say a Toyota I
could get an aftermarket one for 50 bucks an autozone that works fine
but I couldn't get it for the infiniti, so realize that, I wouldn't go that
high-end if I were you and seventeen and getting the car, unless you have a rich
father who's gonna pay for everything, then go right ahead,
Melod says is a Hyundai 2013 with 126 thousand miles a good car to buy
are there problems with their engines too, here's the thing
Hyundai and Kia they're kind of a merged company, Hyundai I bought 33.8% of Kia in
2013, so they're kind of like a merged company and they ended up recalling 1.2
million of their 2.0 and 2.4 liter engines if that car has one of those
engines don't buy it, but if it has a different engine they can be a decent
vehicle, don't pay too much for a used Hyundai the Korean car the resale values are
kind of low, so if you can get it cheap enough it could be a decent car, so if
you never want to miss another one of my new car repair videos, remember to ring
that Bell!

Top 3 Reading HACKS: How to Read a Book a Day (+ Max & Julien's BOOK LIST!) - Duration: 21:11.- Fuck every other Julien.
- Yeah. Every other, Julian Assange, Julian ...
- Clerc.
- Who the fuck is that?
- Doré.
Fuck you, man.
- Fuck you guys.
- Fuck ... (laughs)
Yo, was geht ab?
This is Max from Real Social Dynamics
and with none other than JulienHimself.
- You want to know it. - Himself.
And we're in Las Vegas, actually,
overlooking parts of the fucking city.
And in this video we'll be talking about
how to read a lot of books really fast
and we will actually be breaking down
our own personal reading hacks that helped
literal illiterates, illiterals, literates like me.
Can't even say the word.
Read a ton of books and so can you.
So, check it out.
And let's talk first about the importance of reading books.
Why the fuck should you even read books?
Why should you sit down, open a boring book
with no pictures, why should we even read the books?
And you said that earlier to me,
you're the average of the things that you consume, right?
- Yeah. How exactly did you say that?
- Yeah, there's that famous quote,
like you're the average of the five people
you spend the most time with,
which I'm sure you've heard before.
But that also applies to everything in your environment.
Like you're the sum of all these influences.
And if you sit down and do like a quick audit
on what's influencing you,
it's not very good.
- Yeah. - You know?
- Mainstream media, and even if you're like
"I don't even have a TV.
"I don't watch that."
It's still being blasted at you wherever you go,
you hear conversations, people at work,
people you see in the street.
It's just like mainstream media,
dumb shit, gossip, ads,
buy this, you need that, watered down advice.
Like even the advice, like if you try to find good advice,
it's all watered down.
- Aw man, yeah. - You know?
- And you're looking around and you're like
"What the fuck".
Like that is influencing you and you need to
proactively inject some high quality influences
in your life and books, I mean,
it's cheap, it's easy, and you go straight to the source
of someone who's spent a lot of time,
you know, putting their best ideas into words.
It being in this very high state of consciousness
writing it and that kind of transfers onto you.
And you can download all the greatest minds alive.
And it's so easy. - Yeah, it's incredible.
- And even free.
Like if you might be watching this on someone else's phone,
like looking over because you're too broke to have a phone,
and you're like, "Oh, get books.
"I don't have any money."
Go to a fuckin' public library.
- Oh, yeah. - It's free.
- I mean, go to Barnes & Noble's, sit there
with like a glass of water, sit like everyday,
spend an hour there.
Pick up the book out of the shelf and start reading it.
You don't even have to buy it theoretically.
- Dude, Barnes & Noble- - They're gonna hate us.
- They are starting to shut down but there's still a few.
That was my church.
That was my temple. - Yeah.
- You know, I'd go there
and literally sometimes spend the entire day.
Like, I'd walk in, and Owen would do this too,
and we'd pick out our selections.
Right?
Oh, you know, get this nice, big stack of books.
And then, just sit there and spend hours
just going through them, reading them.
The ones that really stood out, you know,
it's like you buy them.
But it is just awesome.
That is your temple of knowledge.
That's your church.
That's where you go and pray
and just take in that knowledge.
- From the masters.
And by the way, before we go get into our
personal book hacks that are really, really
fucking epic, by the way,
the question's gonna come up,
"Max and Julien, what are the books you recommend?"
La di da, do you have a booklist.
You have a booklist, julienhimself.com?
- Yeah, julienhimself.com/books.
Go check it out. - Check it out.
- We'll have it appear here on the screen.
Same for rsdmax.com/books.
There's your booklist.
There's my booklist.
Don't ask us, it's right there.
Okay?
You can check it out.
And let's start with the reading hacks.
So, my biggest reading hack,
you might have heard me talk about this,
Audible.
- Mm-hmm.
- Audible.
It's a freakin' app on your phone.
You don't even have to read the book yourself anymore.
Someone else reads it for you.
Audible, okay.
And that's really cool because the books on there
are quite cheap as well.
If you sign up for,
if you sign up for Audible,
the paid version of it or something like that,
you get one book for free.
It's really, really cool.
And what I like about Audible is,
or any audio books for that matter,
I put it in my ears and I can do other shit.
So, most of the guys watching this,
you probably go to your job at some point.
You probably commute 30 minutes to two hours
a day on average.
Now, you can sit there playing fucking phone games,
you can sit there scrolling through Facebook,
aka poisoning your mind.
Like you said earlier, being the average
of the bullshit that you're getting in your head.
Or you have someone read a fucking audio book for you.
Right?
I used to walk 20 minutes to the gym five times a week,
20 minutes to the gym, 20 minutes back to the gym;
I listen to an audio book.
I listen to it in double the speed.
So, I get 40 minutes of reading in
just on my way to the gym, 40 minutes back.
That's an hour and a half, basically,
of content that I'm getting in my brain.
Same goes for cooking, whatever the fuck it is.
Now, many people say,
"But do you remember a lot of those things?"
We will talk about this later on,
how to really retain all the knowledge from there.
And I think you get used to it a lot.
I was used to actually reading books
and then like remembering the content,
but you get used to having it in your ear just as much.
And if you really think about it,
this is bro science, but if you think about it,
thousands of years ago how was knowledge being passed on?
Well, you had the disciple and a teacher, you know,
sitting at a little fire, at a camp fire,
And he would verbally bring all his knowledge on.
So, it's not like we're made to never have
audio content in our brain.
We are actually kinda are.
So, yeah, and the cool thing, again, at audio books
is you can change the speed.
If you listen to it in a foreign language,
it's too fast, you can make it slower.
If you're like fuck this,
this guy's reading it too slow,
you can speed it up.
You get much more reading knowledge in.
The cool thing too, nowadays, things like audio books,
you have it on your phone.
So, you don't have to carry a book or nothing.
You have it on your phone.
You can get it offline during your flight,
wherever the fuck it is.
You can listen to it.
Done. - Yeah.
- What's your reading hacks?
- My reading hacks?
I just want to add on what you said here, it's true.
Back in the day, I remember traveling with piles of books.
- Yeah, yeah. - You know?
- Now, it's like all on your phone.
And the cool thing too, with like Audible, is
you don't even have to know how to read to read books.
Like you can be completely illiterate for real.
You're looking at this like "What are these words?"
They read it for you.
You have no excuse.
- You click on the book icon, you know?
This looks like the ...
- And it's like picture and you just listen, okay?
- Done.
- No excuse, so- - No excuse.
- Like there's so many people that's like
"Oh, I'm dyslexic."
No excuse.
Read it out. Having someone read it out for you.
Done.
- For real. And, I like what you said too,
it's like we spend so much time commuting,
it's like take in that knowledge.
You do this everyday, like a little habit.
Like boom.
Plug it in.
You will be amazed by how the quality
of your life just increased.
And the way I personally go about it is,
here's some of my hacks.
So, Audible is key and I usually have like
two/three books going on there at all times.
Like two/three books a week,
just non-stop listening to them.
Then, what I also do is,
on the opposite side, if it's like a key book ...
You gotta classify these books.
Some are like easy to listen to,
just good to just always have in your ear.
Some you want to spend a lot of time on them
just really sucking in that information.
You know, those big books you just kind of go back to,
those bibles. - Yeah.
And for those, I'll actually buy
the physical copy and spend a ton of time.
Like sit there, really take it in, take pauses.
And even read those books in like one to two months,
like taking it in big time.
And then, in the middle,
and this is probably my favorite way
but it does require more time investment
than just Audible, is downloading the Kindle
or, you know, the PDF of the book on your computer,
and I open it up on one screen,
like on one side of the screen, and on the other side
I have a little note, you know, file.
And the way I read them , and this is amazing
for speed reading but also quality speed reading,
is I'm gonna read through it and every sentence
or quote that stands out and speaks to me,
I'm gonna copy and paste it in the text file.
And the cool thing about this is that
instead of you reading every single word
and reading very slowly or trying to speed read
and you miss stuff; your mind is like you kind of
get in touch with your selective focus,
your IAS, and you're just looking for those
quality sentences that speak to you,
which is ultimately where the goal lies.
So, you read very fast, your scanning the page.
Boom!
Awesome concept, awesome idea.
And then, once you're done, you go super fast through it,
and once you're done you have this text file
you can always go back to.
So, instead of having to reread a book
or look through the book for different highlights,
you just open this little text file
and there's all those key things-
- Like that.
- That you personally resonate with.
And that's a cool thing.
It's not someone else who did it.
It's you with who you are, your situation,
and what stood out to you personally.
So, those are kind of like the three ways
I personally go about it on a more technical level.
- Real quick question that I'm super interested in,
do you reread books?
Do you get back to the books
every couple of years, stuff like that,
certain books, not all of them, but ...?
- Yeah, so, that too.
I'll usually reread the text file.
- Yeah, oh what. - Unless it's one of those
bible books. - Yeah.
- And those I reread.
Like some of my favorite ones like
Letting Go, David Hawkins
or Levels of Energy by Fred Dodson.
I'll reread those so many times.
- Yeah, it's crazy - Yeah.
- Because you always resonate with different things.
Like a year later, you're like
I didn't even know that's in this book.
You discover different layers.
I don't do that with every book
but I do that with some like the bible books.
- Yeah, yeah. - Oh, yeah.
- Good stuff.
- I thought we could also address some of the
excuses you may have.
So, we addressed one where it's like,
you know, I don't know how to read.
Audible.
I don't have time.
Audible.
Okay.
Some other ones that I've noticed is,
you know, if you look back at, say,
your track record of reading,
and this was me in the very beginning,
I rarely finished books.
I would start and you're always very motivated.
You're like "Fuck yeah, new book"
and you get the high after buying a book.
And you read a bit, like a couple chapters,
and you just kind of give up.
And then, you buy another book, couple chapters, give up.
And your track record is really shit.
You look back and you're like
"Man, I've never even finished a book before."
You know, if I've never finished it,
I'm probably not gonna finish this one.
Why even start?
And if that's on your mind right now,
shift it and realize that even
if you don't finish it, that's fine.
The goal is not to finish a book-
- Like another check box, yeah.
- I know, like plus one.
Like here's my book kill list.
Instead of finishing it,
even if you just read one chapter or two,
that's better than nothing.
So, even if that's you,
start right now by being the two chapter person.
- Yeah.
- And with time, what you'll also notice is
you'll build that muscle that'll allow you to read longer.
And that's the other excuse.
It's like oh, I get tired every time I read.
Even with the Audible, people get tired.
You know, it's might even notice when you start listening,
oh, I could, that's how I fall asleep.
- Yeah. - Some people'll tell me that.
The way I fall asleep is I just put an audio book on.
- Yeah.
- And that's a muscle you have to build, a mental muscle.
- Yeah.
- Don't buy into that, I started reading,
oh, I need to take a nap, I need to take a break.
Try everyday to just read a little bit more.
- Exactly.
- A little bit more and then you'll just be able
to stay in that headspace and suck in the knowledge.
- And this is, by the way,
one of the biggest advantages you can have
in nowadays societies, is the ability
to maintain focus over longer period of time.
Nobody can fucking do that anymore.
Here's the crazy thing-
- The ADD society.
- Yeah, yeah.
When we started with the YouTube shit,
when I started five years ago,
I never got complaints that my videos are too long.
Like 10/20 minute videos, never got complaints.
Now, it literally started around a year ago,
where people are like "Nine minute video!
"Bro, come to the point man!
"Nobody has time to watch ..."
Like people will say that for this video.
- Yeah, just ranting.
- Yeah.
"Just come to the point, bro.
"Nobody's got the time."
I'm like dude!
This is exactly like if you ask any millionaire,
anybody who has a successful business,
anybody who's successful in some area of their life,
they all know how to maintain focus
over a longer period of time.
And one of the great things to learn that,
one of the great things to train
your ability to maintain focus,
is reading books.
'Cause you're gonna sit down with the book now,
you're gonna read two pages and you'll like
start checking your phone.
Oh, I got a text message here.
Start thinking about something else.
Just again, like you said,
trained a little more everyday, a little more everyday.
Now, the big advantage is you get the knowledge
from the book and at the same time you train
your fucking brain not to pussy out,
not to be addicted to the next dopamine little rush
that you get from a 15 second Instagram story video.
Maintain that fucking focus and you will see
that every area of your life you'll out compete everybody.
You will out perform everybody.
It's amazing. - Yeah.
- That's one of those things that we do.
We know how to maintain focus over a longer period of time.
That's why we're fucking amazing.
- Yeah.
Well, not just that.
It's like also, well, I'd say even on top of that,
it's like the extra value is
getting yourself in that headspace
and taking in the headspace that person was
when writing the book.
- Yeah. - Or doing the video.
- It kinda vibration energy, dude.
- Yeah. - You feel it.
- It's like you connect with that.
- Exactly.
You can't write a fucking book in low vibrational ...
It's a high vibrational activity
to write a fucking book and it sounds-
- Depending on the book.
- That's actually kinda true, depending on the book.
- Yeah.
- But most of the people, it sounds a little woo,
but you get in a different headspace
when you sit down and you really expose yourself
to the knowledge of a book.
- Yeah. Or even like a video here.
It's like you might be like get to the point.
That's 'cause you're not taking in the frequency that
this is meant to tune you into.
Like when I watch really sick videos, I'm like, oh,
I get into a, literally, different headspace.
- Yeah, so true.
- And that's like so much of the value there too.
- Yeah. - You know?
- And then, the other thing I want to mention is,
and you mentioned it to in the beginning, was-
- Retention of knowledge. - Retention, yeah.
- So, this is something I see where there's like,
books are becoming more popular which is fucking great,
but the way people go about it is they try to,
you know, get that kill list of like
I must read a ton of books.
How many books did you read, how many books did you read?
- It's that vanity thing, yeah, yeah.
- Yeah.
And they try to go fast and as soon as they finish the book,
the main thing they got from it
is the fact that they read the book.
It's like this ego boost of gathering
more and more knowledge.
And they don't retain what was in the book.
Like if you're just reading tons of books,
like okay, what the fuck was in that book?
They're like I don't even remember.
I'm just already focused on the next one.
It's just this fast surface level reading.
Don't do that.
Okay?
It's great to read fast, yes,
but make sure you really let that information sink in.
Of course, the best way to let it sink in is to act on it.
Don't just be like "Oh, that's great ideas.
"Next one.
"More collecting ideas."
Implement those fucking ideas.
- I got guys like that, yeah.
- Yeah, implement them and beyond that, too, discuss them.
You know, for real, one exercise you can do is
imagine you had to do a video on the book you read.
That was something that actually really helped me.
- You used to do that on the show, right?
- Yeah, yeah.
So, I would do these free book reviews on my channel
back in the day and every time I did that,
to explain those concept to someone else
on top of taking action,
it just really, boom, ingrained them in my mind.
And that's like an easy way
but another way too is just like discuss them with people,
discuss the ideas. - That's so big.
- You know?
See the other perspectives.
- Yeah.
- Like have people even challenge those ideas.
You know, that's why even like book clubs exist.
- Yeah.
- There's a fucking reason.
So, it's not just you on your own
going about it, going about it, going about it.
Discuss it and let it sink in. - And that's really big too.
This like discussing, challenging the ideas,
and seeing what the other person
has retained from that book because
I guarantee you it's always gonna be different.
Everybody's gonna take different looks on the books.
Everybody's gonna remember different parts.
And, you know, that's shit that guys like us do.
When we hang out in Hawaii, or in L.A.,
or here in Las Vegas right now,
we're talking about books.
When we're eating at the fucking restaurant,
we're like, "Dude, have you read this book?
"What do you think about this?"
And it's just, again, discussing it
makes it ingrained in your brain.
At the end of the day, that's why you're reading the book.
You're reading the book because you want to maintain
the knowledge that was given to you in the fucking book.
And you have something like that
that actually helps people with that.
It's called the-
- Transformation Mastery Academy.
- The Transformation Mastery Academy.
And as far as you told me earlier over dinner,
you said it's people get a monthly book?
- Yeah.
So, it's basically a 12 month program that's is-
- With books.
- Yeah, it's a study group where ...
Well, I'll introduce it like this.
You know, if you've ever heard the expression,
and this is something that's said
about a lot of successful people,
it's like, oh, you can tell they studied self-help
or they studied spirituality.
You know, they must have read a lot.
They studied the right things.
And we hear that expression,
but you got to flip it around to you
and be like hey, did you study self-help?
Did you study success?
Did you study spirituality?
And you might be like, "Well, I guess.
"But what does that even mean?
"What do you study?
"What does that look like?"
And that's what this program is about.
It's a 12 month interactive program
where every month you receive, you know,
unique content that you watch,
different exercises, missions, and challenges
to execute and report back on,
meditations to listen to,
a book of the month where
there's basically the most underground books
that have influenced me, like the most impactful ones.
And these are not mainstream books.
They're really hard to find.
You have to go deep into those worlds to find this gold.
And the way I do it is it's on webinar,
and the webinar is, of course, recorded;
where I give my whole breakdown of the book.
But then, the second part of the webinar we all discuss it.
- Say it out loud. - So, you'll read it too.
Every month you read these unique books,
and then we discuss it together
and really break it down.
If there's questions, you know,
we challenge the ideas and, I mean,
there's just so much value there.
And, of course, the Q&A call at the end,
just on any question of the month
and every month just builds on the previous month.
So, it's interactive.
You're part of this tribe, this study group,
and people hold you accountable for it.
And that's the really cool thing.
It's my coaches and I, we're literally checking up,
like in the private Facebook group.
Like, hey, did you read the book?
Hey, what about this? Hey, did you do the challenge?
Here's some advice.
So, it's not one of those programs where
you get it and ...
I've had a few like that, when I first started.
I'd buy it and you'd get that high,
similar to a book, and then you just kind of
leave it on the virtual shelf, just dusting.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- Like, okay, what do I do with it?
Here, there's the accountability.
It's like you're not gonna be left behind.
You have it and people are checking up on you.
So, there is no excuse.
You know, you're guided to true transformation.
So, that's Transformation Mastery Academy.
- What's the URL?
- Transformationmasteryacademy.com.
- Oooooh.
That simple. - Boom.
We'll link it somewhere below.
We'll have a card pop up somewhere.
So, again, to summarize, books are good.
Read books, even if you're as retarded as I am.
I'm not gonna speak for us all,
I don't know if you're retarded. I am.
- Or if you're as genius as I am.
- No matter what level you are
books are very, very good for you. Do it the right way.
Get somebody to hold you accountable with,
discuss it, retain that knowledge, hack it out.
- And it will, for real, just change your life.
- I agree 100%. Any successful person, there's a reason.
They're like they read books.
Stop resisting it. - Yeah.
- Just model what works.
- Exactly.
- And read the right things 'cause that's ...
The other thing I'll say is you can read a lot
but if you read the wrong things,
it'll actually hurt you.
- I read Harry Potter. - Yo.
- And Fifty Shades of Grey.
- Or even some of the mainstream stuff
'cause it depends on the person,
you might need different types of books.
- Oh.
- So, it needs to be customized to you.
Be smart about it or, hey,
Transformation Mastery Academy.
- Dot com.
Check it out. Julien, thank you so much being on my channel.
- GG.
- My channel.
There we go. (mumbles)
- GG, mofo.
- Bam.
- [Julien] We live in an uncertain world.
Just turn on the news, what do you see?
Chaos, terror, suffering.
Things are changing so fast that your head is spinning.
You know the feeling,
being pulled in different directions
by your friends, your family, mainstream media.
Not knowing what to do or who to believe.
- Did you ever stop and ask yourself
how did your life get this way?
- I felt so much shame when it comes to being me
and now I don't feel that shame anymore.
- I had no way of being able to deal with that pain
and for the first time in my life,
I finally feel an inner stillness and peace in myself.
- I didn't even know what was happening,
like my hands were just shaking,
and it was just like me being my authentic self.
- [Julien] Most of us live lives of escapism.
Anything to cope with this feeling beating us up inside,
distracting ourselves with dumb things on TV,
numbing ourselves with junk food,
alcohol, cigarettes, and drugs.
Is this the way life was meant to be?
Or is there, perhaps, another way?
- It's been the first time in over 10 years,
since my dad died, that I actually felt like I did before.
- I've decided to take a stance for good,
for love, for authenticity.
And I've created a movement of people dedicated
to raising the vibe, a movement dedicated
to doing something about this, and it's called
Transformation Mastery Academy.
- That was amazing, just being able to finally
find that real reason.
- I really want to thank each and every one of you
out of the bottom of my heart.
Thank you guys.
- Now, I'm not some fake guru
promising you overnight results.
What I'm promise you here is a tribe of people
to help support you and guide you along this journey.
In Transformation Mastery Academy you'll no longer be alone.
You'll no longer feel lost.
You will be given the road map
to true permanent personal transformation.
Enough with this fake life of quiet desperation.
Step into your truth and join the movement.

Man Utd news: Wayne Rooney wades in on Jose Mourinho vs Paul Pogba feud, Frenchman warned - Duration: 3:02.Pogba had a game to forget in United's last outing, which saw the Red Devils suffer a 3-2 defeat to Brighton
The World Cup winner was critical of his team-mates' attitude at the Amex Stadium and insinuated that they weren't properly prepared for the match
"I will always try, I know I lost a lot of balls, that shouldn't happen for a midfielder," the France international told The BBC
"I try, I keep pushing, that's my personality. I know if I lose some balls I try to play it simple but sometimes when it's not your day, it's not your day
"I think they prepared [for] the game very well, they prepared much better than us
They really want to press, and stuff like this." Pogba's comments further fuelled talk of a rift between himself and manager Jose Mourinho, who is also seemingly at odds with United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward
Rooney agrees with Pogba's statement, to a certain extent, but believes he must take it upon himself to ensure he's firing on all cylinders
"He is a fantastic player but he has to do it for himself," the former United and England striker told CNN World Sport
"If they're going to win the title, he'll be the main player in terms of them doing that
"You hear a lot of people saying Jose Mourinho needs to get the best out of him but he needs to do it for himself and prove he's at that level to help Man United
" Pogba's decision to publicly lambast his team-mates surprised many, including former United midfielder Gordon Strachan
"I find it very strange that Pogba, and it might have just been lost in translation mind, would come out when you're sitting in the dressing room potentially watching the TV," he told Sky Sports on The Debate
"How would you feel knowing fine well you tried you're but you've had a stinker? We've all done that
"Sometimes when you don't play well it looks like you're not trying. "If you're trying your hardest and someone is saying 'by the way, we're not trying
' I don't know how I'd react to that." Pogba and his team-mates return to action on Monday night, when they'll welcome Tottenham to Old Trafford

How to Solve Inequalities (NancyPi) - Duration: 4:58.Hi guys! I'm Nancy.
I'm going to show you how to solve an inequality.
So an inequality is just any equation that has
a greater-than, less-than, greater-than or equal-to,
or less-than or equal-to sign instead of the normal equal sign.
In this video we're going to focus on linear inequalities.
If you're looking for a quadratic inequality example, that's another video.
If you don't know what I'm talking about, this is the right video for you.
Here's a simple linear inequality example
2x + 3 <= 11
For this one you're going to solve it as you would an equality.
A normal equation.
Subtract 3 from both sides.
So you have: 2x <= 8
Divide both sides by 2, so that you have x alone on the left side.
And you get x <= 4.
And that's your answer for that simple inequality.
Now let's look at a tougher example, where it's different from a normal equality equation.
Say you have: -2x + 3 <= 11
First step, you do subtract 3 from both sides.
And you have -2x <= 8.
Now you are going to divide out to get x alone.
So you would divide by -2.
Divide the right-side by -2 as well.
But here's the trick
In an inequality, if you divide or multiply by a negative number
you have to flip the sign in the middle.
You have to flip the direction that your inequality sign faces.
So in this equation you divide out -2. That goes away.
We get: x >= (flip the sign!) -4.
And the reason we flip the sign is just because we divided by a negative number.
So your answer, your final answer in this one is
x >= -4
One more example. Say that you have...
-1/2x + 4 > 7
First step would be to subtract 4 from both sides.
So you'd have: -1/2x > 3
If you want x alone in this equation
you would actually need to clear this fraction.
Clear the -1/2.
The fastest way to do that is to multiply both sides by -2.
Because if you multiply by -2
you'll clear the fraction, you'll cancel the 2 in the denominator.
Now that would just leave you with x on the left side
but, again, because you multiplied by a negative number
you have to flip the direction of the inequality sign.
So now instead of greater-than we now have less-than.
This is very important because all your other algebra might be correct
but if your sign is flipped, you won't get credit.
So in this case we have: x < -6.
And that's your final answer. x < -6.
So if you've been having trouble with these inequality problems
just remember: it's the same as solving for x in a normal equality
a normal equation
except if you ever multiply by a negative number
or divide by a negative number
you have to switch the direction of your inequality symbol.
You don't have to switch the symbol
if you're adding a negative number or subtracting a negative number
only if you're multiplying or dividing by a negative number.
I hope this video helped you.
If you were looking for something more complicated
like compound inequalities or quadratic inequalities

many chocolate chip cookie recipes out there and I've made so many of them but
I finally found the absolute best basic chocolate chip cookie recipe one thing I
love about a basic good old chocolate chip cookie recipe is that you can use
it in so many different ways so once you have that base recipe you can change it
up to fit your needs you can make cookie cakes you can add different kinds of
chocolate chips you can add peanut butter cups those basic cookie recipes
are super important to have in your recipe box and this chocolate chip
cookie recipe is going to be the best one that you've ever tasted I promise so
let's get started making my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe my
chocolate chip cookie recipe starts with something a little different than a lot
of the other ones out there melted butter I love using melted butter in
cookie recipes because combined with the brown sugar that I add it gives kind of
almost a toffee sort of taste to the cookie recipe this chocolate chip cookie
recipe starts with a half a cup of melted unsalted butter to that you're
gonna add a half of a cup of brown sugar and 1/3 of a cup of granulated sugar the
brown sugar adds some softness and they both add sweetness because these cookies
have Belted butter I don't even need to use a mixer I can just use a wooden
spoon to stir it up to that mixture you're gonna add an egg and you're gonna
add baking soda salt and vanilla mix that all up with your wooden spoon it's
super simple and comes together very easily then you're gonna add a cup and a
half of all-purpose flour stir that in until it makes a thick
again it's gonna be a little bit softer than a regular cookie dough recipe
because you're starting with melted butter not softened butter and now is
where you add your chocolate chips I love using dark chocolate chips or milk
chocolate use whatever you like I absolutely love to add a ton of them so
I use about a cup and a half of chocolate chips little tip if you have a
Trader Joe's near you I absolutely love their chocolate chips they're melty and
they stay that way so I highly recommend them hey once your chocolate chips are
in your cookie dough it's time to scoop them out I love using a cookie scoop
this is a basic 2 tablespoon confused scoop that I use for most of my cookie
recipes they sell these things in all sizes one tablespoon 2 tablespoons up to
a quarter cup so you can make small cookies you can make huge cookies but
what's amazing about these is that you have a cookie scoop all your cookies are
gonna be the same size so I highly recommend it now the one bad thing about
using melted butter in a cookie recipe it's that you have to chill the dough if
you bake these right now they would completely spread out and get super flat
I like nice thick soft pillowy cookies so in order for that we're gonna have to
chill it for a little bit use your cookie scoop and scoop out
tablespoons of cookie dough onto your cookie sheet because you're gonna chill
them you actually don't have to space them out right now just put them onto a
cookie sheet and pop them into the refrigerator for at least two hours now
I say chill for at least two hours and you really really do need to chill for
at least two hours but if you're in a hurry you can pop them in the freezer
for about 30 minutes he'll do about the same thing then spread them out to two
cookie sheets and bake them for about 9 to 12 minutes or until they're done you
know they're done when they've just lost that glossy Sheen on top that means
they're gonna be and soft and a little bit gooey that's
the way I like my cookies now if you like them super done and crunchy you can
just keep cooking them but I like them soft and gooey aren't these gorgeous
look how delicious they turned out they're perfect
and soft and pillowy and those chocolate chips are just still gooey and delicious
look at the chocolaty gooey
best chocolate chip cookies ever thanks you guys for watching today be sure to

How to Find Chiral Centers & the Difference Between Chiral vs Achiral Molecules - Duration: 4:51.Let's see what makes a molecule chiral and how to find all of the chiral
centers. Hello everyone, I'm Melissa Maribel your personal tutor and let's start with
understanding what a chiral molecule is. If a molecule is chiral it means there
is no line of symmetry the left side is not the same as the right and the
molecules mirror image is different and nonsuperimposable meaning we cannot
perfectly align the molecules on top of each other. A molecule is achiral if
there is a line of symmetry within the molecule, the left side is the same as
the right side which is why it's achiral.
Let's do another example and see what molecules are chiral or achiral if we
were to cut the middle of each molecule we would see that the top and bottom
parts of this first molecule are not the same so there is no line of symmetry
making it a chiral molecule. However, the second molecule does have a line of
symmetry since the top and bottom parts of the molecule are the same making this
an achiral molecule moving on to chiral centers a chiral center is an
atom that is attached to four different groups, we represent a chiral center with
an asterisk. When an atom has a double or triple bond it cannot be a chiral center
since there are not enough groups. For example, this carbon is not a chiral
center because there are only three different groups and we need four
different groups for this to be a chiral center. Let's identify the chiral centers
in these two examples looking at this carbon we will see if there are four
different groups surrounding the central carbon we have OH this carbon chain, a
totally different carbon chain with an OH group and a hydrogen so both of these
carbons are our chiral centers note an achiral molecule can still have chiral
centers as shown here. This entire molecule does have a line of symmetry
and both parts are the same making it achiral.
In this example there are actually no chiral centers because there are two
methyl groups and remember all of the groups have to be different. Note: a
chiral molecule does not have to have a chiral center there is no line of
symmetry within this molecule making it chiral.
Okay to make sure you fully understand everything we just covered try these two
questions and we'll go over the answers in just a little bit. For question one
identify the chiral centers. To find the answer to question one let's check each
carbon and see if there are four different groups. Hmm nope not enough
groups not enough groups for the next carbon this carbon has one two three
four different groups so yes this is a chiral center. Next remember double or
triple bond will never be a chiral center so this one is not a chiral
center. This next carbon doesn't have enough groups the next carbon has one
two three and four different groups so yes this is another chiral center and
this end carbon is a common mistake it has enough groups but there are two of the
same groups our methyl groups but we need all four groups to be different so
this is not a chiral center. There are only two chiral centers in this molecule.
For question two label each molecule as chiral or achiral
To find the answer to question two remember we are looking for lines of
symmetry, if there is a line of symmetry within the molecule then it's achiral
like this first one is. Here is another hidden line of symmetry we can count the
number of carbons on either side and see that we can cut this molecule in half
and it would be the same since there are 1, 2, 3 carbons on the left and 1, 2, 3
carbons on the right making this molecule achiral. Now for the remaining
molecules there is no line of symmetry no matter how we try to cut them down
the middle they are never the same so these both are chiral. You can find other
helpful videos right here and if you would like additional homework help
tutoring or other resources you can find that all in the description box and
remember stay determined you can do this
