Hi! How are you? My name is Catarina Marcato
and today I'm gonna tell you how
got to New york Film Academy
I've already posted some videos about how I started my career
and each video has a very important lesson
that I learned in this process

OK? So let's go! One day,
my mom, outta nowhere, told me to search for
singing courses in the US
And I
looked at her and thought:
YEAH SURE!
Do you know when you
want something and your mom says
"we'll come back later to buy it!", and you're like:
it's never gonna happen.So yeah!
I thought it was the same thing.
I don't know why, 'cause my mom has always
had faith in me and my talent
but I thought "yeah, never gonna happen"
But I still searched for the courses,
I talked to my opera teacher Rita Marques Polistchuk
and she said she had a student that went to NYFA
and for me to look into it
OK!
I saw they didn't have a Singing program
but they had Musical Theatre
Got it. Anyway, that was it.
Months later, I came to NY with my mom
in June, for vacation, and 4 days
before the end of the trip, she turned and said:
we could visit those schools you found right?
I looked at her and was like "Really?!"
"SERIOUSLY?"
"IT'S REALLY GONNA HAPPEN?"
SO LET'S GO!
And me, that had never imagined that I
ME
could study abroad
You know when you see things and you think
that they are only for other people, not for you?
That it's too big for you?
Well, that's today's theme:
Believing in yourself
and you'll see why!
Tuesday we went to NYFA
We called to ask if we could visit
and the person who usually
does the tours wasn't there
But we could go and they'd figure it out!
We were welcomed by the
SWEETEST CREATURE
ON EARTH
who is Joey Zangardi-Dixon
so so dear!
And he showed us the campus,
the classrooms, and I was
ENCHANTED
with the program, everything!
The curriculum, even the view
for Hudson River
the Statue of Liberty, Staten Island Bridge, Battery Park
Everything enchanted me
And than he
told me there were programs of 4 weeks,
1 and 2 years
but guys, I was studying Psychology at that time
I REALLY wanted it but
I don't know, I wanted to have a taste
of the course, let's put it that way.
So I said great! Let's think about the 4 week
and than we talk for a while
I noticed that he was sort of
interviewing me
Until he asked if I'd like to audition
Me: Well, I leave on Friday
Joey: if you want, you can audition Friday morning
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
ME? WHAT?
Ok! Let's do this!
I already "had a no", I wasn't already studying there
So since I'm here...might as well!
The touristing kind of ended there
from that moment on
I locked myself in the hotel room
cause I had plenty to do
I had to write and essay on
why wanted to study at NYFA
Duh.
And I had to choose 2 short and contrasting
musical theatre songs.
Guys, I knew so little musical theatre songs
I knew jazz and whatever played on the radio
like Rihanna and Demi
that was all I knew.
*I don't know what happened here*
And a monologue?! In English?!
I only knew brazilian plays, BUT
no excuses! Let's take what we know, what we have.
The songs: Wishing You Were
Somehow Here Again from Phantom of the Opera,
Mamma Mia from Mamma Mia
and I got karaokes online
'cause it was so last minute that they couldn't
find a pianist available
got the karaokes online AND A MONOLOGUE
guys, I searched and searched and couldn't find
ONE SINGLE PLAY I knew in English, UNTIL I encountered
a monologue from Freaky Friday!
Yep. That Disney movie with Lindsay Lohan.
You know the part that they already switched bodies,
and at the Talk Show
the "mom" goes wild, live on TV?
THAT PART.
I chose it, guys! It was better than not having one!
So I learned it.
And that's it, I just studied everyday
until the day came.
Imagine a
nervous person.
I don't remember exatly what happened in that room
if I did it ok, I remember few things.
I remember that Joey gave
me some corrections, asked me to re-do it,
I did, taking the notes he gave me
AND I PASSED!
I PASSED!
3 WEEKS later, I was coming back for
the 4 week program in July
the summer program.
Than I auditioned for the 1 year program,
and today I live a dream
But guys, why? Because
I BELIEVED in myself during
those 3 days of preparation.
Up to that point, I didn't believe in my talent,
in my preparation..
I didn't have 100% faith,
my mom and my dad did, not me.
But think about it!
For a lack of confidence in myself
I could've let and INCREDIBLE
opportunity run away.
That's what I have to say:
Believe in yourself!
You know?
If you love something,
just do it!! Don't doubt yourself.
If you've been studying forever
like I was,
dedicating yourself forever,
why don't you trust yourself?
You have to!
Otherwise who will?
If you remain scared, things
won't happen.
You gotta take risks.
I could've gotten a no
but I got a great yes instead.
And today I'm here! Very happy.
Guys, this is a lesson I learned,
I actually learn it everyday
The only person
that can do things for me is myself.
The only obstacle between me and
my dream, is myself.
I have the power to keep fighting
and the power to give up.
And you too, so
use it in your favor!
Use it to keep fighting
and chase your dream!

Homemade Limoncello (Italian lemon liqueur) - Duration: 2:04.
Prep time: 20 minutes + 20 days of infusion + 20 days of maturation (or more) / difficulty: easy / Yield: ~ 3 litres/ 3 quarts/ Alcoholic grade: 30% vol 10 organic lemons 1 liter/ 1 quart / 4.2 us cups of grain alcohol or etanol 96% vol, without cetrimide 1.5 liters / 1.5 quarts/ 6.4 us cups of mineral or filtered water 700 g / 25 oz/ 3.5 us cups granulated or caster sugar
Common ethyl alcohol is toxic, only use alcohol without cetrimide suitable for consumption
Homemade Limoncello
Peel the previously washed lemons with vegetable peeler
Only the outer yellow skin and as little of the pith as possible
Transfer the lemon peels to a jar with a lid
Cover with the alcohol (ethanol 96% vol without cetrimide)
Close the lid tightly
Store in a cool and dark place for 20 days
20 days later bring the water to a simmer
and stir in the sugar to dissolve
Let it cool completely
After it has cooled
add the infused alcohol through a fine strainer
Add 1 cup of water to the peels in the jar
shake
and add to the mixture
Fill the bottles using a fine strainer
Tighten the lid and store the bottles in a cool and dark place for another 20 days
After that, keep the limoncello in the fridge or freezer

This is my first Q&A video about Cricut and Cameo.
I asked my followers on Instagram and Facebook to send me their questions about Cricut and Cameo.

Let's start by saying that both machines are pretty good on their own.
I don't find a ton of differences when it comes to the quality of the products they create,
however, there are two things worth mentioning when comparing them.
first, the software that power each machine. Cricut Design Space is a simple
and easy program to use however, internet access is required to use it
Silhouette Studio is a more advanced piece of software, if you ever use a graphic
design program you will find a lot of similarities, you don't need to be online to use it.
However, if you have been saving your projects in Silhouette Cloud
you will need to have internet access.
Another key thing to know is that if you want to use SVG files with Cameo
You'll need to upgrade your software from Silhouette Studio Basic Edition to the Designer Edition which costs $49.99
You can use SVG files with Cricut Design Space at no additional cost.
Second, Cameo has the ability to cut a whole roll of vinyl which is going to save you a lot of time
especially if you are someone that works mainly with vinyl.
The largest piece of vinyl that Cricut can cut is 12" by 24" losing one inch of material in each side.
Both machines are great for crafting. In the end is all about preferences
and how comfortable you are with the design program.
There are too many type of papers to choose from I wouldn't be able to pick one
It also depends on the project you are making, for example if you are making
labels you may want to get a sticker paper if you are making cards
medium cardstock is the way to go.
Cricut and Cameo you are cutting machines they don't print.
If you want to use the print then cut technique you will need to use a printer
You can make personalized boxes with Cricut or Cameo. You will need to buy the template
from their store or online. If you don't want to buy it you will need to create your own.
I designed these favor boxes and they're available for purchase on my Etsy show as SVG and PDF files
Cricut has exclusive partnership with Disney so you can buy Disney images from Cricut,
which you could use to make stickers,
however, keep in mind that these images are copyrighted and cannot be used commercially
for example, if you buy a Mickey Mouse image you can use it to make projects for you, your family and friends
but you cannot sell them .
You could also get images from the web.
Most of the sites that offer free images are only for personal use
and you will need to get a commercial license if you want to use them in your business.

I've tried to cut felt with my Cricut Explore1 using different techniques and I have never been successful.
I've heard Cricut Maker works better with felt because it has a rotary blade
I think you will like Cameo, the main reason is that Silhouette Studio that is
the software that comes with Cameo has a lot of similarities with other design programs

The best way a found is to duplicate the text and weld it.

2019 Mustang Review: Hitting the Bullitt Points - Duration: 6:04.
Off the heels of the 10 millionth Mustang rolling off the assembly line the 2019 Mustangs
are finally hitting our lots.
With refreshed looks from last year's mid-model update the Mustang cruises into the 2019 model
with some fresh additions as well, including what you see here.
The famed 2019 Bullitt Edition!
A car with a rich history dating back to Steve McQueen's famous car chase scene in the
1968 Mustang GT, the Bullitt is infamous.
Ford knows just how special the Bullitt is and after its 2001 and 2008 versions it was
only fitting that the S550 chassis receive the Bullitt treatment as well.
But that's not all 2019 adds to the most famous pony car in history there is much more
to explore so let's take a look at the 2019 Ford Mustang!
The looks of the latest generation should be a familiar commonplace to most everyone
by now.
But this year with the addition of the Bullitt it is sure to break even more necks as it
passes by.
The signature dark green and striking exterior features are back.
Taking the less is more approach the debagged front grille is menacing along with the famous
5 spoke heritage wheels.
With the Bullitt though you get much more than just the looks, you get the performance
and all of top of the line features that the Mustang has.
Starting with performance the Bullitt Mustang packs a powerful punch with 480 horses under
your left foot from its screaming 5.0 liter V8 and bangs through the 6 speed manual transmission
as it outruns the competition.
The active valve performance exhaust screams from its quad tips with signature black nitro
plate providing the classic Ford V8 rumble.
On the interior the Bullitt comes equipped with optional supportive RECARO seats which
are perfect for keeping you put while hugging the turns.
The design is unmistakable with its green accent stitching, a spindrift aluminum instrument
panel, a 12 inch LCD digital instrument cluster and a heated Bullitt branded steering wheel
along with a unique white cue ball shifter knob.
The 2019 Bullitt is a respectable throwback to McQueen's legendary 1968!
The Bullitt however is not the ONLY 2019 of note.
2019 also marks the return of the California Special package on the premium Mustang GT.
With this package you get unique 19 inch machined face wheels, unique front grilles with offset
tribar pony logo, a pedestal rear spoiler, the performance package front splitter, as
well as California special badging on the interior and exterior side stripes.
The Mustang beyond looking pretty is about one other thing.
Performance.
The 2019 Mustang does not slack on performance in any variation.
Three engines are available.
A 2.3L EcoBoost that produces 310 horsepower and 350 foot pounds of torque, the famed 5.0L
coyote kicks out 460 horses and 420 foot pounds of torque and the Voodoo flat plane crank
5.2L in the GT350 has 526 horsepower and 429 foot pounds of torque.
There are optional 6 speed standard shift transmissions as well as the new 10 speed
automatic with steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
The 2019 Mustang also features a performance package for both the 4 and 8 cylinder engines.
The Ecoboost performance package gives you a 3.55 TORSEN limited slip dif, 19 inch ebony
wheels, and larger brake rotors with four piston calipers.
The GT performance package includes 19 inch wheels, brembo six piston front brake calipers
a TORSEN limited slip dif, a special gauge pack and unique springs plus a ton of other
features including a unique spoiler.
To step up your game the performance pack level 2 adds Magneride damping system with
track calibration and wide wheels and tires for ultimate grip.
The Mustang also allows you to customize your driving experience with variable drive modes
that include normal, wet/snow, track and drag strip.
The 2019 is the most technologically advanced Mustang of all time with amazing features
none more amazing than the new digital dash.
From here you can change your gauge layout depending on drive mode or even customize
it to your liking including colors and what gauges are displayed.
This is also where you can access your track apps.
With track apps you can track your performance metrics such as g-forces, acceleration, and
even lap times.
Here is where you can also utilize features like electronic line lock which allows you
to spin and heat your tires, and the launch control system to ensure those perfect starts
at the track.
For entertainment the Sync 3 infotainment system is available and features smartphone
connectivity with apple car play and android auto.
And the new B&O sounds system will blow you away with its deep bass and rich sounds.
When you opt of the Ford Safe and Smart package you get a slew of driver assist technologies
such as pre-Collison assist with pedestrian detection, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control,
auto high beams, emergency braking, forward collision warning and even rain sensing wipers.
With the 2019 Mustang being this cool, there is no wonder over 10 million have been produced.

Man Utd news: Anthony Martial makes decision on Old Trafford future - Duration: 3:02.
Speculation had been rife that the Frenchman would leave Old Trafford this summer, with Barcelona, PSG and Juventus all linked with the attacker
But it seems the 22-year-old will now stay at Manchester United despite rumoured rifts with manager Jose Mourinho
Mourinho became unhappy with Martial after he failed to return to United's pre-season tour of America due to the birth of his child
It's believed Martial was keen on a move away from Manchester as he looks to secure first-team football having only been used sporadically as a starter by Mourinho
The majority of Europe have until the end of the month to make any transfers but the Mirror report that Martial will now stay having agreed a deal on a new house
It's claimed that the former Monaco man has taken a 12-month let on house in Hale, where many of United's stars currently live
Martial gets another chance to make a claim for a regular starting spot under Mourinho when United host Tottenham on Monday (8pm)
It's unclear whether he will begin the match having struggled in the Red Devils' 3-2 defeat at Brighton last weekend
And Sky Sports pundit Phil Thompson was surprised Martial was not substituted at half-time at the Amex
"Not one of them were (good enough)," Thompson said. "Their attitudes were all poor and that was the problem with this side
