Meaning of the Christmas Story - Day 12 - Duration: 2:43.

Do you really want to know?

Like actually want to know?

Alright, well, stick it out and let's see if we get somewhere!

You see, we believe there is meaning in every word of the Bible.

Literally everything has layers, a deeper significance, a personal relevance

if you really dig for it.

And the Christmas story especially so!

Because God came on Earth as a human being.

And if you're skeptical, that's fine. But the skeptic in me still likes it because

it makes a kind of intangible God more relatable.

So, meaning in every word.

For example: The Lord chose to be born in a manger where horses are fed.

We believe that a manger represents where we go to be "fed" by the Lord --

which is His Word.

He was wrapped in swaddling clothes, which specifically means the innocence, the willingness

to change, that we must wrap ourselves in in order to approach the Lord and love the neighbor.

So together, born in a manger and wrapped in swaddling clothes, means that in order to

change into better people, we need to be humble and have an open mind to find truth!

That's the first step!

Because when we're being stubborn and selfish and stuck in our ways,

we're not being our best selves.

And a star represents a new spiritual truth -- you know, there are books on books explaining

each significant spiritual meaning if you're interested.

Overall, the meaning of the Christmas story is just as much about our process of "going"

to the Lord as it is about how the Lord came to us.

I think that's so cool.

Christmas is the celebration of the Lord dispelling spiritual darkness by teaching new things

and overcoming evil as a intimately relatable human being.

And it's a celebration of the decision we can make to constantly be

better and happier people!

The Christmas story shows us that there's always a way up, that we can heal from our

mistakes and renew our desire to be more loving people to everyone we can.

Hot damn. I just love Christmas.

So.

Maybe when things are dark and confusing, we can try to look for the little ways that

the Lord is reaching out to us, like a tiny baby in a manger, waiting to be found in a

place of humility and hope.

and this is what I want to tell you about that and why I'm bad for the ATM

business so it's right now while I'm recording this video it is December 23rd

so two days before Christmas right around this time of year starting around

Thanksgiving going into this time of year of course a lot of people spend

money a lot a lot of money okay cuz it's the holiday season and they're buying

gifts and whatnot right so excuse me this time of year ATMs get used like

crazy so crazy people are constantly you know taking cash out of ATMs right um

and the reason I say that I'm bad for the ATM business is because I don't use

ATMs I personally am NOT a fan of using ATMs when I go shopping either a shop

online right Amazon just makes life easy or be if I go to a store like an

in-person and shop I use my debit card right so I don't personally use ATM

machines so when it comes to all this transactions that are happening during

the holiday season they ain't coming from me on ATMs cuz I'm bad for the ATM

because I don't use them Thanks it's only a very very rare occasion where I

would ever use an ATM machine and basically it was just bad planning on my

part right just bad planning on my part um

once in a while we will use an ATM - this is funny

so I'm sure you guys have wawas or some type of convenience store where you live

right once in a blue moon we have this one location that does I mean it it

kicks ass constantly doesn't matter what time of year it is it really doesn't

matter it just kicks ass and every once in a while it's literally down the

street from my house so every once in a while I might check it out and you know

look on my app and see that oh it slow or I'll even get a reminder on my phone

so this machine's low and you know instead of waiting till the next day I

might you know maybe I'll go out like an 11 o'clock at night to Philip right and

um it's a lot my clock Sealy banks are open right there's no banks open um so I

will sometimes go to use a convenience store ATM because they have no

surcharges right and I'll take money out of that ATM and then I'll put it in my

ATM right so that's the only time I use ATM machines right I personally don't

use them when you know I'm shopping it's very rare that I ever need to actually

go and tap into a convenience store ATM to fill one of my machines but that's

the only thing so that's me me being bad for the ATM business right I don't you

know I don't supply people search card fees so what it was that lesson telling

you right now that lesson is telling telling you that you do not have to be

an ATM user to benefit from being in the ATM business see I get all and I hope

that light bulb just went off in your head so I get people sometimes tell me

but carry on I don't use ATMs and I tell them you don't have to you you don't get

into the ATM business for you you get into the ATM business for the billions

of other people out in the world that do use ATMs and not only do they use ATMs

but they are habitual ATM users so guys that's why I'm bad for the ATM business

but I hope that that you got the blessing like the main less of that that

you don't need to be an ATM user to be successful in the ATM business you're

basically providing the service to other people

Slime Ranchers: part 1 - Why I Like Blue Planet 2 - Duration: 5:36.

hello everyone I'm going to start playing a game called slime Ranchers

it was a gift from a wonderful friend, so what I plan to do is make

videos of me playing. I will be talking about things that matter to me books and

issues and anything that comes to mind I will still upload WoW

ERP if that's what you're looking for and I should upload Warcraft vids on the

25th and new years

what I plan to do is I'm gonna go to the big slimes and feed them

and get some loot so that I can get a slime key and open that door I have a

lot of hands (hands??nani)

so I'll see how that goes got a run though so something that's

been on my mind the past a week is Blue Planet 2 the documentary series

narrated by David Attenborough I'm planning to re-watch it because it was

so insightful, beautiful, meaningful.

firstof all, the first episode of blue planet

is named one ocean and it's kind of like an intro to everything. I believe it was

an episode in which manta rays which are feeding on bioluminescent plankton if

that's what you call it and that was like the first feeding process could

be seen in all its glory because of high-class cameras and

technology.

so it was pretty amazing to say the least

plankton were like ribbons of blue dust while the manta rays danced with them

and attenborough described it as like a ballet and although the

footage quality of the feeding wasnt as HD as the rest of blue planet, just being able

to watch that on my TV it felt so cool

now episode 2 is called The deep and I think it's one of my favorite episodes

I've already watched it twice. one of the beginning shots is of a submarine or

something it was going near a big iceberg it was so well done because it made me

feel so small, intimidated by that iceberg I'm sure you've heard people say

"this is only the tip of the iceberg" I felt that phrase while watching that scene

so theres a

dead whale and it's drifting in the ocean. it's dead so we get to see that

and it's dead so basically it attracts scavengers right

we get to see it while it's near the surface and

watch it drift down into the deep, dark ocean.

its hard to remember that real people spend a lot of money and time

on filming this.

anyways it's a natural thing that occurs all the time,

this dead whale--yet the lot of us humans don't get to see it firsthand

then the sharks arrive. these are six--oh

sixgill sharks

so since they can go a year without eating ,

this whale is probably like the only thing they'll eat until next

until next year's feast!

zombie worms, they're the things that eat the whale's bones.

at first i thought the stuff on the bones were just pieces of tissue but it turned out to be

the last group to arrive to the feast.

so, let me tell you,

the comparison and metaphor for the dead

whale and everything was so good

I think Attenborough no no he says this quote

like: "A whale fall is a temporary oasis in the desert of the sea floor."

so the whole thing this feeding phenomenon is called

a whale fall. I just thought this part of the episode was so well written. The metaphor

of the whale being an oasis. the first time I watched that sentence with

subtitles on the screen I was amazed and some of you may think I am marveled by a

mere metaphor but I really liked it. it was because like the whale is a

temporary oasis for the sixgill sharks who eat once a year

and the sea floor is so empty like a desert so how could you not like

like that last sentence to wrap up that sequence with the whale fall

that was like the first 30 minutes of episode 2

so im going to continue in the next slime ranchers video
