Koyasan Daimon Gate was originally built in the 11th century in the Tsuzuraori Valley and was

moved a century later to its current location, marking the entrance to the city of Koyansan.

Danjo Garan is another important place of worship in Koyasan and where Kobo Daishi is also worshipped.

Legend has it that Kobo Daishi himself when studying in China,

threw his Sankosho (a pestle with three prongs at each end, usually made of gilt bronze)

toward Japan and it landed in a pine tree.

It was only when he came back and was looking for a place to erect the headquarters of his new religion

that he came across his Sankosho still stuck in the branches of a pine tree.

So he decided to start construction of his headquarters around the tree.

According to the temple administrators, Kobo Daishi worked on the construction of both

the main hall and the Konpon Daito Pagoda, a 45m tall red tahoto style pagoda

where a statue of Dainichi Nyorai (Cosmic Buddha, also known as Variocana) rests.

After Kobo Daishi 's death, his followers continued his work and erected several other buildings including Toto and Saito,

two other pagodas, as well as Miedo, the founder's hall,

and Koya Myojin Shrine, which enshrines Mount Koya's local kami (God).

Make decorative newspaper Christmas candles its great for this Christmas season. Namaste

friends, welcome back to Sangeeta´s Kreations if you´re new here please make sure to subscribe

my channel for latest updates and hit the bell button for notifications. you can ask

your kids to make they will love crafting it. for this you will be needing take any

magazine paper and cut them into 3 sections now place the stick at the corner of the paper

at an acute angle tuck under the corner edge and then roll with your fingers apply glue

to secure. make few more now take 2 tubes apply glue at the one

of the end and insert into the other to form a long tube like this now press and roll it

this way with barbecue stick or any steel rod like this

keep on rolling now at the end apply glue and press it hold

it for a while so now you have this coil with you make few more

for making this same way make a coil keep on rolling it like this now you don´t have

to paste here just hold it this way and leave it and you have the shape with you press it

over here to form a shape apply glue paste it hold it for a while it will look like this

now make few more to decorate it now apply glue white glue all over on both the side

now here I m using red acrylic color color it on both the sides dilute the color with

water keep on coloring rest of the coils you can color which ever color you want
