Youtube daily report May 21 2017

VENEZUELA has the largest proven oil reserves in the world, with more then 513 barrels for 2013.

Almost 20 years later from the installment of the first boring drill; Venezuela had become

the largest oil exporter in the world, and the second biggest oil producer, behind the United States.

Everything indicated that it would become the most prosperous country of Latin america.

In 1999 a so called "Bolivarian Revolution" comes to power, lead by Hugo Rafael Chávez Frias

Who promised, between other things to finish with poverty in the country through social plans

Currently Venezuela founds in the worst economic and humanitarian crisis in its history

The following it's an effort to understand how this happened.

THE REVOLUTION: How To Destroy A Country

CHAPTER 1: DEMOCRATIC AUTOCRACY

"The Venezuelan Congress..."

"This congress that was elected"

For 14 million venezuelans

In december 6th 2015 "La Mesa De La Unidad Democrática", (MUD)...

The main opposition movement to the govern of Nicolas Maduro

Wins the parliamentary elections in a historic way, with 112 out of 167 Deputies in the congress

Getting the first meaningful electoral victory in 17 years of Chavismo

Getting some balance into the highly unbalanced powers in the country.

It's the 56th sentence, if i'm correct, against the venezuelan people

Due to pressures by the opposition to the prime minister

The Supreme Justice Court, dominated almost entirely by Maduro supporters

Unconstitutionally dismiss the congress and takes its place and duties.

Alegating a state of "Disrespect and disability" by the deputies.

In Venezuela Nicolas Maduro gave a coup

This decision by the Supreme Court Of Justice comes days after the OEA...

Debated the crisis under the government of Nicolas Maduro

American congressmen pronounce about the recent announcement against the democracy...

Political tension in Venezuela

The Supreme Justice Court decided that will take the duties of the congress

"The first that i want to say to you, the international community..."

Yesterday, in Venezuela we had a coup (golpe de estado)

We say to the country that tomorrow, the university movement

Each university leads a protest

A protest

"Through a military coup, or a legal coup, currently he's dismissing the democracy in that country"

"It's clear, if in your country they close the congress how it's that call?"

If in your country they close the congress how it's that call?

That's call a COUP

A coup was given in my country

"Let's go all to vote" (Let's go all to vote)

"The December 6th, for the candidate that defends the people"

"For the candidate that defends the people"

"He is Hugo Chavez" (He is Hugo Chavez)

"And he brings to the people, a good democracy and constituent"

"A good democracy and constituent"

Merry Christmas

And a very prosper new year 1999

-"United States Of Venezuela", you see?

-Yeah

-A "Locha" (Venezuelan old coin) my gift to you

In 1999 Chavez propose a constituent referendum which approves the modification of the old 1961 constitution

Part of the electoral promess of refound the country above a new juridic order

Among other things, this new constitution created

A new procedure to call in the future a new constituent assembly

Which allowed him later in 2009 approve the indefinite reelection.

This new constitution also gave the right to vote to active military and unified the military institutes

Now called: "Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana" (Bolivarian National Armed Forces)

There's something interesting with president Chavez

He is the first man in this century that has gathered more legit and constitutional power

The president Chavez

Has more power in this moment that the classic venezuelan dictators

The president Chavez

Who has the courage to say what he is going to do and no one believes him

That's his secret weapon

Has prepared a constitution...

...that suits him perfectly

It allows you to make an autocracy in the country

In other words, if you'd be in the opposition side

You couldn't live with under that constitution

So, the real question is this:

You're the chief commander of this ship

...So where is this ship heading?

"Hugo Chavez did a really big damage to the venezuelans, and is a damage...

We going to suffer for many many years

But i hope that...

The healing process has begun

"The people, united will never be defeated"

"¡Take down that shit!"

Problably, we weren't so tough as we should be

There's something curious

And it's why you are a phenomenon...

I'm gonna tell you why you are a phenomenon, and i don't mean that as a compliment.

-I only have two arms.. -'Cause you made

-You made

Autocratic measures with the support of the people

You can dissolve the parlament

The national assembly can be dismiss for you

Autocracy: Political regime in which one person mandates without any limitations...

...And with the power to enact and modify laws at will

-"You can be"

-The most powerful man in venezuela's history

-But i don't why you... -And you're following the old governments

-I don't know why you keep saying that i'm going to be the most powerful man in venezuela's history...

-Do you know who wins power with this? The districts

-Do you know who wins power with this? The people

-But when there's a charismatic leader like you...

-... "the people" talks through that leader.

-You are he sovereign ruler right now

-No, not at all... -We can't fool ourselves...

"In venezuela"

-The time has come

-The time of the people has come

-"The populism"

-"The first thing it does it's to dissolve institutions little by little"

-Rewrites constitutions

-That suits them to fill the whim of the different leaders

-Corrupt leaders

-That we have in Latin america

-And there's another thing...

-You can dissolve the congress and no one has ever had that power

-That's a judicial vacuum, that you're going to fill

-Naming some kind of delegate constituent commission -No no, no way...

-And how are you going to fill that? -Here's has never been a judicial vacuum

-And will never be any judicial vacuum in this country

-Now we're going to have...

-What type of autocracy is this with 5 different public powers

-...The executive power, legislative, judicial, civic and the electoral power...

-But the 5 powers are under your command -No, no way...

-I will never have that amount of power, no one could manage 5 powers...

-Even Trump and Chavez identified perfectly the weaknesses and flaws that we had as a society...

-The anguishes, failures and frustrations...

-They filled all that with populism, they did the most poisonous roll of sushi in history...

-...They gave us a taste...

-And finally we're paying the consequences in Venezuela.

-The populism however it's not there out of pure luck

-And it's not only our job to inform the atrocities that the populism does to our institutions...

-...but also to recognize the dreadful administration of previous governments

-...leading the people to the total crisis, and then, in desperation where pushed to these leaders...

-...Sometimes by democratic ways, justifying its permanence in the power.

"About 80% of the 23 million of people lives in poverty..."

"Here in the hoods of Caracas, the surrounding misery of the capital, the most desperate are piled up..."

"They aren't reached by the benefits of the oil"

"It's eaten by the corruption"

The last time they went down to protest for their misery they were thrown out by bullets

"10 years later they had found their savior"

"We...

...Above all their laws...

...Above all their corruption...

...Above all their immorality...

...we are going to defeat them in a devastating way"

"In any politic campaign that you hear from north to south the speech..."

...Of any ideology because this starter with the socialists when the fall of the Berlin wall...

Socialism realizes that can not get to the presidency through the war

And tries to use the democracy

And they were the firsts in using the populism as manipulation strategy

-Here in Caracas we couldn't control the power...

-...There'll be new opportunities and the country has to take a better future...

"What are we going to do with Venezuela?"

"Are you ready to the time of truth?"

-You better be afraid to the crocodile...

...because it has many teeth (A venezuelan say)

-What's going to bring the constituent law?

-Misery or progress?

-"This Wednesday in 'The Constituent Chair', with Oscar Yanes"

-...Talking about popular power...

-That's precisely what it's dangerous...

-Why?

-Because you have done a campaign

-...With military uniform, in my judgement a bad mistake...

-'Cause you're awaking the political vocation in them, but that's another subject that we'll discuss later...

-...You're fighting with everyone, and i think...

...You fight the church...

...That's very serious...

...You fight with some syndicalist sectors that aren't so pure...

...You fight the classic political parties...

...You fight the industrial owners, you've fight with everyone and you are the president of all venezuelans...

-What is the risk in that?

-There's a sector of the country that's going to be orphan of president...

-...That has no president cause has fight with you...

-Look, what you're saying it's relative, everything it's relative...

"If some aggression would come from USA to Venezuela...

-...There'll be no more oil for the people or the government of United States...

You fucking yankees

You better know that

We've decided to be free, no matter what happens or how much it costs

-No, i can't be handcuff just because i'm the president

...i'm a figther...

-If i'm attacked by someone through some media...

-If i'm attacked by someone through some media... -You have the right to defend yourself...

-Defend myself and attacked too... -Of course but...

-The best defense it's attack first

-Yeah, but, remember something...

-The best defense it's the attack military speaking...

-...But you're not in a war tank, you're in the chair of the palace of government...

-No, politics are the same thing...

-But it can happen that you can deprive of valuable people...

-...The fear that i have about those attacks...

...It's that it's depriving you from people that you will need to rule...

-That's not the case so far...

SFF Book Recs: SFF by PoC Authors | #BooktubeSFF Babbles - Duration: 8:56.

Hi, it's Maija here, and today I'm giving out recommendations for science fiction and

fantasy books that have main characters of color and are written by people of color.

This video is part of the BooktubeSFF Babbles, and I will leave a link to the BooktubeSFF

Awards Goodreads group down below.

Let's get on with the recommendations – these are in alphabetical order by book title.

My first recommendation is the science fiction novel Ascension by Jacqueline Koyanagi, and

the main character, Alana Quick, is a black lesbian woman with an autoimmune disease that

causes her to have chronic pain, and the author has fibromyalgia herself.

Alana Quick is a sky surgeon, a spaceship mechanic, who would love nothing more than

to experience life in space.

She decides to stow away on a spaceship called the Tangled Axon that lands on her yard looking

for her sister. And

upon discovery, she gets to know the crew and falls in love with the captain. There is

also a polyamorous relationship in this book.

My favourite thing in this book is Alana's relationship with her sister Nova, who is

a spirit guide. While Alana has chronic pain and wants to live her life to the fullest in the body

that she has, her sister would love nothing more than to leave her healthy body behind

and live as pure spirit.

They struggle to understand each other, but they do love each other. Now

this is a debut novel and it felt a bit uneven at times. I

did like the first half more than the second half, but I would most definitely pick up

the next thing that Jacqueline Koyanagi writes. And

I'd especially recommend this book if you liked A Long Way to a Small Angry Planet

by Becky Chambers.

Next I'd like to recommend Binti, a science fiction novella by Nnedi Okorafor.

The author's bio says: "Born in the United States to two Nigerian immigrant parents,

Nnedi is known for weaving African culture into creative, evocative settings and memorable

characters." And that's definitely what she does in Binti.

Binti is of the Himba people from Namibia, and she is the first of her people to be offered

a place at Oomza University, which offers the finest higher education in the galaxy.

But in order to attend, she will need to leave her people behind and board a spaceship, and

on the way she comes in contact with this alien race called the Meduse.

I liked how the novella focused on themes of home, culture, and belonging.

It was also the perfect length in my opinion, offering just enough information about the world.

Now, the plot, or a small part of the plot, actually reminded me of an animated movie

that I had seen not that long before, but that didn't bother me.

Now, this might be on everyone's list, but I highly recommend the epic apocalyptic fantasy

book The Fifth Season by N.K. Jemisin. This is the first book in The Broken Earth trilogy.

This follows the story of three women with magical powers that are considered dangerous

in their world.

The book tackles topics of systematic oppression and also who gets to be considered to be people.

And about 90% of the characters are people of color.

My favorite thing about this book and the series so far is the main character, and how

emotionally invested I am in her story.

Both The Fifth Season and The Obelisk Gate got five stars from me. And N.K. Jemisin is

one of my favorite writers in general.

I also really loved her first novel, The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms, but that one's a lot more

divisive, some people I know really dislike it, so maybe don't start with that one?

Maybe start with this one.

Then for some short stories I'd recommend the People of Colo(u)r Destroy! series

from Lightspeed Magazine.

There are three issues: People of Colo(u)r Destroy Science Fiction, People of Colo(u)r

Destroy Fantasy and People of Colo(u)r Destroy Horror.

The issues include original short stories, some reprints, and some non-fiction, all from

creators of color.

The only one I've started reading so far is People of Colo(u)r Destroy Fantasy, and

it's been really good so far.

I loved "Black, Their Regalia" by Darcie Little Badger.

It's a short story that combines comedy with dark fantasy.

It's about a band called The Apparently Siblings, the three members are Native American, and

the story is set in a future with a spreading plague.

This story is also available online, and I will leave a link to it down below – go

read it if you're even a little bit goth.

The Sorcerer of the Wildeeps by Kai Ashante Wilson is a novella that I just finished last

month, and it combines science fiction with fantasy.

The story itself is a very fantasy-like story following a merchant caravan and its guards

on their journey, but the world has some science fictional elements.

The main character, Demane, is what is called a demigod, because he is descended from people

who came from the skies – and he does also have some special powers.

Also, the other guards in the caravan call him the Sorcerer, since he is a doctor and

his medical knowledge is so far beyond theirs that it seems like magic to them.

Demane is in love with the captain of the guard, who is also a demigod, and the novella focuses

on their relationship, as well as the caravan's journey through the dangerous Wildeeps.

I really liked the writing style, although occasionally it confused me and I had to reread

a few paragraphs now and then to get the timeline right.

Next I'd like to recommend a manga that I read quite a while ago, Tekkon Kinkreet

by Taiyo Matsumoto, and there's also an anime movie adaptation of this.

This tells of two street kids, Kuro and Shiro, or Black and White, who live in the yakuza-run

Treasure Town.

Since it's been such a long time since I read this, I've forgotten a lot of the specifics

of the plot, but Tekkon Kinkreet is also hard to describe when it comes to genre – it

has a mob story, violent and naive street orphans, but also some outworldly, surreal, and

mythical elements.

I agree with the Goodreads reviewer Pete Lee, who wrote: "Few people have clashed magical

realism with street nihilism the way Matsumoto has."

Tekkon Kinkreet won an Eisner Award in 2008, and I also really recommend the anime adaptation,

although I found that I understood the ending better once I had read the manga.

Now for a fantasy novelette, The Terracotta Bride by Zen Cho, who also wrote Sorcerer

to the Crown. And while I liked her novel, I really loved this novelette.

It is set in the Chinese afterlife, where the main character is forced to marry the

richest man in hell, who also later brings home a new wife, an artificial woman crafted

from terracotta.

And it is the relationship between the main character and this terracotta bride that is

the heart of the story, along with questions of love, life, death, and reincarnation.

Throne of the Crescent Moon by Saladin Ahmed is the author's debut novel, and it's so much fun.

This is a pretty traditional fantasy story, a bit of sword and sorcery, but it's set in

the Middle East -inspired fantasy world called The Crescent Moon Kingdoms.

It's about an old ghoul-hunter Doctor Adoulla, his warrior apprentice Raseed, and Zamia,

who is a shapeshifting young woman.

They investigate supernatural murders in the midst of a power struggle between the Khalif

and a revolutionary called The Falcon Thief.

I especially liked that the main character was an old man who just wanted to sit down

in peace and have a cup of tea.

As always, I'd also recommend the beautifully written A Stranger in Olondria by Sofia Samatar, but

since I talked about this in my Underrated SFF books video, I will leave a link to that for you.

And as a final recommendation, most of the stuff written by Octavia Butler tends to have

a black female protagonist.

I am in the middle of her Seed to Harvest, or Patternmaster, series, which is the only

thing that I've read from Butler so far, and out of those my favourite was Mind of My Mind,

but there are a lot of books for you to choose from. Octavia Butler writes science fiction.

So those were all of my recommendations, but I'd also like to mention a couple of books

that are on my TBR.

First is Heroine Complex by Sarah Kuhn.

This is a superhero story with a Japanese-American main character, Evie Tanaka, and she is the

sidekick to a Chinese-American superhero.

Certain Dark Things by Silvia Moreno Garcia is a vampire story set in Mexico City.

And honestly, I don't need to know any more than that!

I also have The Winged Histories and Tender from Sofia Samatar on my list.

The Winged Histories is a story of four women caught up on the different sides of a violent

rebellion, and it's set in the same world as A Stranger in Olondria, and Tender is Sofia

Samatar's short story collection.

On my Kindle I have waiting for me Labyrinth Lost by Zoraida Córdova.

This is a young adult fantasy book about Alex, who is a bruja, the most powerful witch in

a generation, who has to travel to Los Lagos due to a spell gone wrong.

And my Overdrive hold from the library just came in, which is A Taste of Honey by Kai

Ashante Wilson, the second novella set in the same world as The Sorcerer of the Wildeeps.

The Prey of Gods by Nicky Drayden is an upcoming fantasy-science fiction mix that I'm really

looking forward to.

It's set in South Africa and it combines personal robots and an AI uprising with ancient demigoddesses

and young people with extraordinary powers.

It sounds really good and it's coming out in June.

So those were my recommendations.

Let me know if you have done this video topic, or just leave your recommendations in the

comments down below.

That's all from me, and I will see you in my next video!

The Free World's Blasphemy Law - Debunked (Stephen Fry Blasphemy) - Duration: 7:46.

Blasphemy law is, and has always been, a disgrace to any culture that calls itself "free".

As George Orwell once said, "If liberty means anything at all, it means the right

to tell people what they do not want to hear."

Now we often hear that the Western World is free, and indeed, much of it is – within

the confines of decency we're free to act as we wish, and we're entirely free to think

and speak as we wish… that is, unless you live in Denmark, Finland, Greece, or Ireland

- then you're free to say whatever you want unless it's something mean about the Abrahamic

god – because, you know, an all-powerful god is vulnerable to mean words…

This, is The Free World's Blasphemy Law – Debunked.

In 2015, on RTE One's The Meaning of Life, Stephen Fry replied to the following question

with furious eloquence: "Suppose it's all true, and you walk up to the Pearly Gates,

and you are confronted by god – what will Stephen Fry say to Him, Her, or It?"

"I'll say, bone cancer in children – what's that about?

How dare you!

How dare you create a world in which there is such misery that is not our fault?

It's not right.

It's utterly, utterly evil.

Why should I respect a capricious, mean-mined, stupid god who creates a world which is so

full injustice and pain?

That's what I would say."

"And you think you're going to get in?"

"No, but I wouldn't want to.

I wouldn't want to get in on his terms."

Now first and foremost, I've put a link in the description to the full interview,

and if you haven't already seen it, then do… you can thank me later.

But to get back on topic, in response to Fry's wonderful rant, many butt-hurt Christians

accused him of breaching Ireland's Defamation Act, which includes the following clause:

"A person who publishes or utters blasphemous matter shall be guilty of an offence and shall

be liable upon conviction on indictment to a fine not exceeding €25,000."

Now the problem with this accusation is that it's true... by using his freedom to express

his opinion, Fry violated a free country's law... now if that isn't a contradiction,

then I don't know what is!

"Free speech is the bedrock of liberty and a free society; and yes, it includes the right

to blaspheme and offend."

It's the right that allows us to secure and defend all other rights.

It is the foundation of a free society, and so therefore, I would argue that either these

"free" countries must abolish their blasphemy laws, or we should no longer refer to them

as "free".

It's simply unacceptable for a country to call itself free while having blasphemy laws.

It's utterly, utterly stupid.

And that ladies and gentlemen, is the primary point that I want to make with this video…

Fry's recent situation has made me realise that much of the free world isn't actually

free… and that's sad…

To quote Hemant Mehta, "it really would be glorious if Fry's brilliant quotation

ended up defeating the blasphemy law that never should have been enacted in the first

place", and I personally think that refusing to call these countries free until they relinquish

such nonsense is a good way to add fuel to the fire.

Anyhow, with this point made, let's now turn our attention to blasphemy in it's entirely,

by first clearly stating that blasphemy laws are a fu**ing joke... and I swear on purpose

- because likewise to swearing, blasphemy is a victimless crime.

A Christian doesn't get hurt when someone swears or says something mean about their

divine North Korean, they get offended – and funny enough, Fry's response to people getting

offended is second to none: "It's now rather common to hear people say 'I'm very offended

by that' as if it give them certain rights... it's actually nothing more... it's simply

a whine [...] it has no meaning; it has no purpose; it has no reason to be respected

as a phrase; 'I am offended by that' well so fu**ing what!

And this brings us to the real reason why blasphemy law exist.

It's not to defend an all-powerful god, because such a being would be necessarily

impervious to offense… it exists to preserve religious ignorance, because deep down the

religious know that their beliefs cannot withstand rationality, and they know that the application

of criticism will dissolve their undeserved privileges – that, is why blasphemy law

exists.

The fourth point I want to make is that Fry is absolutely correct when he calls the Abrahamic

god a mean-minded maniac, because if this god exists and truly is all-powerful (as its

proponents do indeed claim), then the state of the universe proves, without a doubt, that

this god is utterly, utterly evil.

To illustrate this, I'm going to quote Epicurus, a man who lived three-hundred years before

the inception of Christianity, and who within this one quote alone entirely eviscerated

the idea of an all-powerful and all-loving god for good: "Is god willing to prevent

evil, but not able?

Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able but not willing?

Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing?

Then whence cometh evil?

Is he neither able nor willing?

Then why call him god?"

Hence, if an all-powerful god exists then it's necessarily not all-loving because

evil exists.

And the final point I want to make is that when Fry stated that he wouldn't want to

get into heaven on the Abrahamic god's terms, he demonstrated true morality and real benevolence,

because unlike the religious, who Appeal to Authority for their morality, Fry demonstrated

that he actually cares about the wellbeing of others…

It's all too often that the religious claim to have the moral high-ground because they

know what the big boss wants, and it never really occurs to them that this isn't actually

morality… it's fear.

Morality is, as Fry perfectly illustrated, actually giving a f**k about fairness and

the consequences of your actions.

Anyhow, to recap, Ireland, along with Denmark, Finland and Greece, are not free countries

because; Free speech is essential to a free society, and these countries limit free speech

with blasphemy laws.

And blasphemy in its entirety is flawed because; It's a victimless crime, and; It exists

to preserve ignorance, not to defend an all-powerful god; And an all-powerful and all-loving god

definitely doesn't exist because; Whence cometh evil.

Anyhow, as always, thank you kindly for the view, and please consider subscribing to my

channel, because under section 36 of the Giant Spaghetti Defamation Act, "A person who

doesn't subscribe to Rationality Rules shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable

upon conviction on indictment to a fine not exceeding €25,000."

Klinowanie siekiery na trzonku. Securing an axe head with a wedge [ENG SUB] - Duration: 15:28.

Hello! Today i'll show how to secure an axe head to a handle, by using wooden wedges.

First of all we have to check how deep the kerf is, and mark the depth on the wooden wedges.

You have to be careful not to pound the weedge too far or it may split the handle.

If the wedge was to pass the depth of the kerf and forced into the wood, it'll split it just like a splitting maul would.

Mark the depth on the wedges.

In this case i'm gonna be using 3 wooden wedges.

One wedge across and two wedges one after another.

Now it's time to hand the axe head.

If the head was fitted earlier, we just need to put it on and pound on the back of the handle until the axe head settles.

A hammer most suitable for this job would be a wooden one, or maybe a dead-blow hammer.

when the sound gets duller but higher at the time - this means the axe head has settled as deep as it is possible.

Although! you can try to force it down just a little bit by implementing the following method.

How this works is you have to strike the butt of the handle against a hard material, but not too hard so that it won't split or put a dent in it.

The weight of the axe head will force itself onto the handle even more.

Avoid striking with the edges of the butt, unless you want to split it.

Now we are assured that the head settled on the handle.

Next step is to slightly drive the wedges in, just to be sure they'll fit nicely.

If a wedge is too wide, just shave some material off of it.

If it's like a milimeter wide just ignore it since the edges of the eye will carve it to fit eye.

Now we're sure that all of the wedges fit.

Now it's time to drive the wedges in. I suggest smearing them with an adhesive of some sort.

Not only to minimize the friction while driving them in, but also to make sure they won't start popping out once you start using the axe.

You could also apply some BLO on the wedges, this will make them swell up and it actually will secure the wedges.

I decided to apply some pine tar with sand. As you'll see soon, it was a horrible idea.

We have to pull out the wedges in a sensitive way so that we don't break them.

The tar is nice and hot, i'm gonna dip them in it and drive them down the handle.

Pound the wedges in a bit so that they won't fall out.

Trying to melt the tar a bit so that ill be able to drive it in further.

Unfortunately i used too much tar, also it cooled off too quickly and i was forced to remove the wedges.

Now im removing the excess tar from the wedges.

I noticed a part of the wedge bent, so i'm removing it before it breaks completely off.

After removing the excess tar, let's give it one more try.

One method is to slightly tap the wedges in, turn the axe upside down, rest the wedges on a piece of wood or something hard, and tap from the top with a hammer.

I'll try to heat it up a little bit just to ensure the go all the way in.

Unfortunately, the 3 wedges along with the tar resist too much and i wasn't able to drive them all the way in.

So now i'll pound them in one by one.

Try not to do this too fast or too hard or you'll break the wedges and won't be able to drive them in further.

Also, a broken wedge is very hard to get out, especially when glued in. And after it breaks, it'll probably hold the axe head too weak.

The last wedge is a bit narrow, but the wedges hold firmly to the axe handle, so i won't remove them.

Instead of taking out the wedge and making a new one, it's easier just to tap in something inbetween.

The wedges are driven in, leaving maybe a few milimeters of space between the them and the bottom of the kerf.

Let's saw off the protruding wedges flush with the handle.

The existing hole is not that big, we could just treat it along with the rest of exposed wood.

Using a torch, i'll try to remove the tar from the axe head.

It doesn't look pretty, but it's my first time using pine tar for this kind of purpose.

It probably holds better than it looks.

I came to a conclusion that i can't have even a small hole in my axe handle, so i'm tapping in this piece wood.

In order to temper the steel i would have to heat it up to like 200 degrees Celsius at least, or even 300-400*C

The most important part - how does it look like, and how well does it hold.

It's not perfect, but it secures the head nicely.

As an excuse, i have to remind you that the handle was reused. It had a long wooden wedge and some crossing metal wedges - so it was not pretty when i started hanging this axe head.

How To Spin A Card On Your Finger Tip Tutorial - Duration: 2:49.

What's going on everyone and today I'm going to teach you how to spin a card on your middle

finger so check this out that was pretty good it's a really cool it's not really a trick

it's like something cool you can do with cards now I'm going to teach you how to do this

this is a really cool awesome change you can do as you can see my middle finger is in my

thumb in my middle finger in and what I mean by that is they're like this so you first

of all this is a Criss Angel Mindfreak card and the reason why I'm using this is because

there's a eye in the middle and it makes it a lot easier to use because you can put your

thumb right on the eye and meet it up right behind it your thumb in your middle finger

can meet they contact each other then you want to get you or after you get that all

good you want to put your pointing finger on the right of it so it looks like this so

you're going like that Slowly move when you go like this you have to get your timing really

good so when you go like this you want to lift up your some really quick so do it in

the middle you want to look it up really quick I'm doing a kind of slow and now I'll do it

without a card so but you don't want t lift it up to high So watch how my thumb goes just

watch my thumb see how I picked it up I'm trying to go a

little bit slow for you guys but easier way to do it well to start off is just too go

back and forth like this which what I'm doing I'm just going and you can go like one too

stuff like that go like 1 2 3 And let go now you're probably going to have to watch this

video a few times because how hard this effect or trick or whatever you want to call it cardistry

thing is because this takes some serious practice I've been doing this for a while now I learned

this from Shin Lim I think I'm not 100% sure but I guarantee you that's where I learned

it from so anyways that's how you do that I'll do it again it's like you're kind of

snapping as you go out this as you go like this with the card you're letting go with

your thumb so learn that tell me in the comments section what you think of this and if you

learned it so anyways thanks for watching don't forget to subscribe and we'll see you

next time

THE REVOLUTION: Chapter 1: Democratic Autocracy - Duration: 23:34.
