Youtube daily report w May 1 2017

WOMAN: Everybody ready?

CREW MEMBER: Sound speeding.

Do I have a to-camera?

Is this my to-camera?

-Good to go? -CREW MEMBER: Yes.

Phoebe, thank you for being here.

Hi, Chris. Thanks for having me.

There is an elephant in the room I need to just put out there.

This is probably--

You're doing gun hands.

(LAUGHS) I didn't expect this to start that way at all.

I'm doing this show on HBO about my depression effectively.

I wanted to make sure that since I have this platform,

it wasn't just my voice.

I wanted to talk to people from other walks of life.

I'm aware you don't speak for all African-American people,

and I'm sorry to put you in a position

where I'm in any way asking you to.

WYATT CENAC: That is the challenge.

It's weird to go up to a person and say,

"Hey, maybe a white guy might have a different answer

than the one I'm used to."

In my family, we were open about things,

but I don't think mental health

was really on the table in terms of like,

"How are you really feeling?"

Once it sort of came out as depression,

I learned my mom struggled with mental health

and it kinda runs in my family.

I wasn't equipped to navigate how I felt.

I was just like, I guess I'm like a cross-dresser or something?

I was just like, really kind of miserable as a teenager.

I don't think I had depression,

but I think it was very much like

"How can I get people to like me?"

I remember learning a lesson that as bad as you think it is,

somebody has it worse.

My dad was killed when I was little,

and it was like, "Yeah, that sucks.

But there's somebody else who doesn't have a dad and a mom."

After he died, it was "Well, we never speak about him again.

-Let's close the book on it." -Really?

I've read that 40% of trans people attempt suicide

-before the age of 25. -Yeah.

It's like, that's half the people.

Well, 50% is half.

Say that back to me that you understand

-that 40% is not half. -(LAUGHS)

I attempted suicide. I'm a part of that statistic.

You'll never fully be able to understand

what it's like in someone else's mind.

And it's not something they can just like snap out of.

That always would get me so bad.

-I know. -When it would be like,

"Just cheer up." And it's like way beyond that.

You're someone who dealt with something traumatic.

At one point did you reconcile it?

My mother spent so much time shutting out my father,

that idea that "well, we're family.

We are contractually bound to each other."

And for me at some point it was,

"Oh, yeah. Contracts can be renegotiated...

-Yeah. -and broken."

Learning that if you don't like yourself,

life is like super hard.

And it's only gonna get harder,

so, you really have to like yourself first.

When I came out, it was very terrifying.

I really thought I was gonna lose a lot of people,

but my family like celebrated it.

I can't imagine a weight off the shoulders in my life

that would equate to that.

I can't imagine the feeling of that.

Do you get the sense that things are easier to talk about now?

There has been more of a conversation about

the idea of self-care and the idea of therapy.

It seems moving forward,

there's at least more platforms and more people now.

Like, I think it'll be better for the people

who come up after us, right?

I think so.

We all just wanna know that we're not alone

and that we're heard.

I'm glad that we're entering a social moment

where trans people and gender non-conforming people

and queer people can speak for themselves.

Like, real mental illness doesn't always fit nicely within this box.

Like, it's often a lot messier and harder.

Like, me telling my story's one thing,

but it's a story that is kind of everywhere.

NEW EEVEE AND EEVEELUTION MERCHANDISE - Pokemon News! - Duration: 7:52.

welcome back on you sexy geeks and awkward

nerds this is what's going down in the

news in the Pokemon world this week

first of all if you like what you see

and you like what you hear don't forget

to hit that subscribe button right below

your screen we put out new Pokemon

videos every single week along with

other random fun geeky videos as well

let's start off with one of my favorite

news story stuff who doesn't like free

stuff

Toys R Us announced it on may 13th or

doing another one of their Pokemon trade

& Collect events that's basically from a

certain time period on a Saturday they

will be giving away free Pokemon stuff

so like free promo cards and have their

Toys R Us logo stamped on them they've

done like cosmic and Pikachu in the past

and then they give away like coloring

sheets like little collector binder

album thingamabobs and i think they gave

away like a little cardboard hat of a

Pikachu one time anyways they recently

started doing it with figures as well

the problem with that is is that it's

the first 50 customers and what I have

seen personally when I go it's a lot of

grown grown grown grown people and by

growing I mean people in their like 50s

and 60s which there's totally nothing

wrong with that if you like Pokemon the

problem lies that it's these old crusty

men that go with their their wives and

they try to get all these figures and

all this free stuff and take it away

from the true Pokemon fans so they can

go sell it on eBay which in return I'd

say you suck so if you want to get there

and get your figure you're going to be

the first 50 people in line so the

problem lies within when these people go

they bring like two or three people with

them and each one of them get a figure

so if a person brings like five people

with up what with them then that six

figures gone right they're out of 50

unfortunately there's nothing we can do

about it you just got to be within the

first 50 people to get there so this

time they're giving away in an Alolan

Vulpix promo card and what's going to be

crazy as they're giving away an Eevee

figure with it as well so you can

imagine the amount of people that are

going to show up because Eevee everybody

loves Eevee guys girls it doesn't matter

everybody loves Eevee so you know a lot

of people are going to show up and a lot

of people are probably

because they didn't get an Eevee figure

but you can still get that lowland

voltaics promo which is pretty cool in

itself next up one of the funniest

things that I've heard in Pokemon news

in a long time a pineapple a player

brings a pineapple to the latin-american

international video game championships

probably about a week week and a half

ago and wins it so that goes to show you

that it doesn't matter what kind of that

you bring and lay out on your little

board where you start playing it doesn't

matter none of that brings you luck

because you can literally bring a

pineapple a freaking pride apple to the

video game championship hand win all

right now don't get me wrong I was one

of those players at one point in time

that brought with me to Pokemon TCG

tournaments because I thought it brought

me good luck but the thing that I did is

I usually brought stuff with me that had

nothing to do with those who might at

all for the longest time I actually

brought a trading card with me of

shar-pei from high school musical and I

would lay it down right there in front

of everything because it made no sense

and it seemed somewhat distracting for

the players that I was playing against

now usually people bring a lot of

stuffed animals you know like little

stuffed animals like this because I

think it brings some good luck

a lot of times they'll bring their

favorite Pokemon things like that so the

guy tweeted out earlier last week and I

quote a man at the market today gave me

a free pineapple said good luck lol

feeling good about this weekend now that

does not sound like a random person

counter in a Pokemon video games and I

do not know what does so this young

gentleman would go on to have some great

battles all weekend long winning some

losing some the ultimately winning the

entire thing with a pineapple at his

side that goes to show you that your

plushies and your pokeballs do not mean

crap so go ahead and leave that stuff at

home and bring a pineapple with you or

maybe a mango but mostly a pineapple

because that seems to be the good luck

charm

and in other news that I call I kissed

my girlfriend off and I got to make it

up to her type of news trust me guys I

know how it goes have you met our dog

Eevee

yeah it's true her name is actually

Eevee look at it how can she not be an

Eevee though how can you know you knew

you

if you don't know Japan has actual

Pokemon centers that sell nothing but

Pokemon merchandise the type of Pokemon

merchandise there is through the room

all kinds of different stuff and they're

constantly releasing new stuff if you

think that we get a lot of folks among

stuff here in America multiply that

times a thousand actually multiply it

times a million because it is so much

stuff in Japan that is Pokemon related

it is not even funny

now every couple months or so they do a

thing called a campaign and the campaign

revolves around the scene and this time

the theme is evolutions now on May 13th

is when all this stuff gets released

coincidentally the same day that the

Toys R Us giveaway is going on as you

can see there's so much evolution stuff

going on in this campaign it's insane

right here this is my favorite item

that's coming out it's these figures of

dittos that have transformed into

eeveelutions and they come with the data

that's transformed into an eeveelution

and a ditto itself now I love figures as

you can tell right here I got a bunch of

them in the back these things are super

awesome the ditto they did a dental

campaign a couple months ago and it was

hugely successful so why not do it with

evolutions everybody loves the ditto

everybody loves an evolution put them

together mind blown

now another popular item is Pokemon

plushies they have a thing called pokey

dolls which are a lot smaller than about

the size of this Victini right here and

they kind of look very chippy ish and

they have finally decided to release the

evolutions to you guys but the only

problem is all this stuff is in Japan

now we have gotten pokey doll plushies

on the Pokemon Center comm Us website so

we'll probably see these later down the

line pop up on that website but right

now we just have to be jealous of

everybody else that's going to have them

and not us so the most wow factor about

this entire campaign is that you can get

an eeveelution box and inside that box

comes nothing but the eeveelution that

you picked so if you pick a Jolteon box

you get nothing but Jolteon merchandise

you pick a Flareon box flare our

merchandise sylveon you get you get it

so on and so forth inside these boxes

you get about 1718 items you get the

limited delivery box the t-shirt the

parker the cap the muffler towel the

clear tote bag the the badge

and the TCG flip deck case the doll

mascot the doll plush clear file ten

light pin a sword the sticker pin

pokeball design a smartphone holder case

in a hand towel yes of course you got to

have a hand towel that is absolutely

insane this is probably one of the

biggest pieces of merchandise that they

have released at the Pokemon Center I

don't know maybe ever if not a long time

but probably ever the price of it is a

wee bit expensive though so for only

twenty six thousand five hundred and

thirty five yen you too can have one of

these Pokemon eeveelution boxes and if

you want to know what that converts to

let me look two hundred and thirty seven

dollars and ninety-four cents how much

do you love evolutions so that's it for

the major news going down in the Pokemon

world this week I'm going to be doing

these Pokemon news videos every single

week so you have to go searching and

wasting your time all week long trying

to find the best pokemon news stories

you can tune in right here and I'll have

this video for you every single week if

you like this video make sure you give

it a thumbs up and in the comments below

let me know what news story you are most

excited about hearing probably going to

be the eeveelution one just a guess just

a guess on my part and don't forget hit

that subscribe button and I will see you

all in the next video don't forget we

put out new videos every single week

peace out guys

that grew my referral network to over 30000 plus

connections

here helping we're connected with over 30000

people in the health and fitness world and I was

able to start our business Our health link just

by using linked in to get in touch with you

referrals and new people and it just really grow

my business so today I'm gonna show you how you

can grow your local referral network or your

online referral network using Lincoln and not

sending out um stanley messages or spam emails

to these people so let's jump right into it as

you can see how to grow your local referrals

using lincoln and I'm just gonna show you the

exact steps I took I'm ready Here on my linked in

page so you know work brad Smith health link and

you can see where over 30000 connections first

thing I wanna show you is the network and we're

connected with here and how awesome it is so

29000 On 979 people blink and only let two at

30000 so we can maxed out and then we go back in

and see people that we're still connected with we

try to keep them and then we go and delete people

that you know maybe join In the past network that

we don't really need to be connected with any

more than as you can see we have over 300 uh

receive invitations to people trying to connect

with us trying to join our network and lincoln

just let us do it because we maxed up This is

just by building real relationships I reach out a

connected with us all 30000 of these people if

you're one of them thanks for joining us for an I

appreciate it and it's just a great way to grow

and I wanna show you today how to grow it Locally

so if you know first things first I want you just

do a quick search um so let's say tampa

a chiropractor let's say you're a gym in tampa so

what I want you to do is build that build your

linked in page and we'll go over the

A page in a minute but what you can do is you

right here on the page these are all kind of

practice in tampa and this is what I did when I

started my fitness and nutrition business you go

running to the first connections and these are

people who are already connected with first

connections you And you can message them right in

here so you got the team chiropractor temp of a

race um team chiropractor tampa Bay buccaneers

well connected with you this is just what I did

started right here to this person say I wanted to

connect with them

I wanted to send him clients or I want to refer

back to me just a quick message um hey there

this is brand

owner of health link

Can I and you to my referral network

that's it just see what he has to say back I mean

it's simple um it does not hurt to reach out to

them asking that they wanna be part of your

referral network tell them you're willing to read

For people to them if you have some one year

or they have someone to refer back to you just a

quick reach up you're asking for them the day or

info here um you can call them you could email

them and I actually went through and I started I

called every single person it's ahead just email

them a single link to message give me a call back

like you to join my referral

For and within it took me about a year just

really grow my network but you know once you have

that power you reaching out to them and

connecting it's huge show you right now what I

don't want you to do so I'm gonna go with the

message of the app to see

Hi this one somebody sent me never heard of them

is pitching um anywhere any device calls me pete

patient I look forward to receiving quit the

positive feedback from you this

The longest the least likely it is for somebody

to respond back um you can just you know scroll

down and I have so many so many things here's one

I mean this is summer from all call they don't

even know what our businesses

to send me long messages This is something you

don't wanna do doesn't wanna miss you don't want

to be spammy to send it a can add to my referral

network and then uh actually respond back how to

optimize your profile because usually anyone that

you connect with their looking to profile make

sure your business name or What we like to say if

that can see when you offer

as you can see we're connected to bill and skip

next football player is pretty cool and uh

endorse people All if you really want them as you

can see we've been endorse for our specialty is

over a hundred times over specially is make sure

you put all the specialties you offer small

business your website building Google website I'm

advertising coaching

Just make sure you endorse somebody when they

reach out that's a no thing I wanna mention when

you email him and send the message and a link to

message and you endorse them they will be

notified in their email also so give a new

endorsement a quick

face leave the message and a quick email Works

out really well

and

Vulpix promo card and what's going to be

crazy as they're giving away an Eevee

figure with it as well so you can

imagine the amount of people that are

going to show up because Eevee everybody

loves Eevee guys girls it doesn't matter

everybody loves Eevee so you know a lot

of people are going to show up and a lot

of people are probably

because they didn't get an Eevee figure

but you can still get that lowland

voltaics promo which is pretty cool in

itself next up one of the funniest

things that I've heard in Pokemon news

in a long time a pineapple a player

brings a pineapple to the latin-american

international video game championships

probably about a week week and a half

ago and wins it so that goes to show you

that it doesn't matter what kind of that

you bring and lay out on your little

board where you start playing it doesn't

matter none of that brings you luck

because you can literally bring a

pineapple a freaking pride apple to the

video game championship hand win all

right now don't get me wrong I was one

of those players at one point in time

that brought with me to Pokemon TCG

tournaments because I thought it brought

me good luck but the thing that I did is

I usually brought stuff with me that had

nothing to do with those who might at

all for the longest time I actually

brought a trading card with me of

shar-pei from high school musical and I

would lay it down right there in front

of everything because it made no sense

and it seemed somewhat distracting for

the players that I was playing against

now usually people bring a lot of

stuffed animals you know like little

stuffed animals like this because I

think it brings some good luck

a lot of times they'll bring their

favorite Pokemon things like that so the

guy tweeted out earlier last week and I

quote a man at the market today gave me

a free pineapple said good luck lol

feeling good about this weekend now that

does not sound like a random person

counter in a Pokemon video games and I

do not know what does so this young

gentleman would go on to have some great

battles all weekend long winning some

losing some the ultimately winning the

entire thing with a pineapple at his

side that goes to show you that your

plushies and your pokeballs do not mean

crap so go ahead and leave that stuff at

home and bring a pineapple with you or

maybe a mango but mostly a pineapple

because that seems to be the good luck

charm

and in other news that I call I kissed

my girlfriend off and I got to make it

up to her type of news trust me guys I

know how it goes have you met our dog

Eevee

yeah it's true her name is actually

Eevee look at it how can she not be an

Eevee though how can you know you knew

you

if you don't know Japan has actual

Pokemon centers that sell nothing but

Pokemon merchandise the type of Pokemon

merchandise there is through the room

all kinds of different stuff and they're

constantly releasing new stuff if you

think that we get a lot of folks among

stuff here in America multiply that

times a thousand actually multiply it

times a million because it is so much

stuff in Japan that is Pokemon related

it is not even funny

now every couple months or so they do a

thing called a campaign and the campaign

revolves around the scene and this time

the theme is evolutions now on May 13th

is when all this stuff gets released

coincidentally the same day that the

Toys R Us giveaway is going on as you

can see there's so much evolution stuff

going on in this campaign it's insane

right here this is my favorite item

that's coming out it's these figures of

dittos that have transformed into

eeveelutions and they come with the data

that's transformed into an eeveelution

and a ditto itself now I love figures as

you can tell right here I got a bunch of

them in the back these things are super

awesome the ditto they did a dental

campaign a couple months ago and it was

hugely successful so why not do it with

evolutions everybody loves the ditto

everybody loves an evolution put them

together mind blown

now another popular item is Pokemon

plushies they have a thing called pokey

dolls which are a lot smaller than about

the size of this Victini right here and

they kind of look very chippy ish and

they have finally decided to release the

evolutions to you guys but the only

problem is all this stuff is in Japan

now we have gotten pokey doll plushies

on the Pokemon Center comm Us website so

we'll probably see these later down the

line pop up on that website but right

now we just have to be jealous of

everybody else that's going to have them

and not us so the most wow factor about

this entire campaign is that you can get

an eeveelution box and inside that box

comes nothing but the eeveelution that

you picked so if you pick a Jolteon box

you get nothing but Jolteon merchandise

you pick a Flareon box flare our

merchandise sylveon you get you get it

so on and so forth inside these boxes

you get about 1718 items you get the

limited delivery box the t-shirt the

parker the cap the muffler towel the

clear tote bag the the badge

and the TCG flip deck case the doll

mascot the doll plush clear file ten

light pin a sword the sticker pin

pokeball design a smartphone holder case

in a hand towel yes of course you got to

have a hand towel that is absolutely

insane this is probably one of the

biggest pieces of merchandise that they

have released at the Pokemon Center I

don't know maybe ever if not a long time

but probably ever the price of it is a

wee bit expensive though so for only

twenty six thousand five hundred and

thirty five yen you too can have one of

these Pokemon eeveelution boxes and if

you want to know what that converts to

let me look two hundred and thirty seven

dollars and ninety-four cents how much

do you love evolutions so that's it for

the major news going down in the Pokemon

world this week I'm going to be doing

these Pokemon news videos every single

week so you have to go searching and

wasting your time all week long trying

to find the best pokemon news stories

you can tune in right here and I'll have

this video for you every single week if

you like this video make sure you give

it a thumbs up and in the comments below

let me know what news story you are most

excited about hearing probably going to

be the eeveelution one just a guess just

a guess on my part and don't forget hit

that subscribe button and I will see you

all in the next video don't forget we

put out new videos every single week

peace out guys

Why Don't Humans Have Whiskers? - Duration: 4:21.

Whether you've got a big ol' lumberjack beard or a pencil-thin mustache,

if you have facial hair, you might refer to it as your "whiskers."

But that is not what they are.

The fact is, humans don't have whiskers.

True whiskers—like those on your dog or cat—are far more special

than any human facial hair.

Whiskers are acutely sensitive and can help creatures hunt, sense the direction of the wind,

and find their way around in the dark.

In fact, they are so useful, nearly all mammals have them…

we're just one of the rare exceptions.

So, what makes whiskers different from the stubble on your chin?

Well, whiskers are what scientists call vibrissae.

And they are similar to regular hair ... they're made out of the same protein, keratin.

But whiskers are usually thicker, stiffer, and more importantly, they grow out of

completely different kinds of follicles than your hairs do.

The follicles for vibrissae are deep in the skin, and they're surrounded by pockets

of blood, which are connected to nerves.

Researchers think that these pockets of blood help amplify any vibrations that come through

the hairs to help make them extra-sensitive to touch.

And the nerves, of course, lead up to the brain, where huge sections of the somatosensory

cortex are devoted to making sense of all the tactile information

that the whiskers are picking up.

Now, whiskers can be found anywhere on an animal's body, but the most common spot

is on the face, especially around the mouth or eyes, where they come in two main types.

The long hairs we usually think of as "whiskers" are called macrovibrissae,

and they can be moved voluntarily.

But there are also shorter, stubbier whiskers, usually right under the nose, called microvibrissae.

Many animals, like rats or mice, have both kinds.

And in those creatures, it's thought that the big ones are used for spatial tasks,

while the little ones are more important for recognizing certain objects.

If you can move your big whiskers, like a rat does, you can actually get lots of really

valuable information about the space around you ... almost like seeing, but with your hair.

This behavior actually has a name—aptly enough, it's called whisking.

For example, if a rat is new to an area, it will move slowly, flicking its whiskers back

and forth, letting them sweep over a broad area to get a good sense of the surroundings.

But if a rat already knows the space, it will move more quickly, and whisk over a smaller

area just to make sure it doesn't run into anything.

And if a rodent is especially interested in something, it will increase the speed of its

whisking to get a higher resolution sense of what the thing is.

Other animals use their whiskers for more nefarious purposes…

at least, if you're a prey animal.

The tiny etruscan shrew, for example, uses its whiskers to find and capture insects nearly

as large as itself, even inside dark tunnels.

Seals, too, use the tactile hairs to hunt, and have whiskers so sensitive that they can

actually sense fish breathing.

Biologists think that's because seals have as much as ten times the number of nerve endings

per whisker follicle that land animals have.

OK, so you get that whiskers are super-useful,

and on the right animal, they can be downright dashing.

So in that case, why don't we have them?

Well, we probably did at one point.

Or, at least, our ancestors did.

Whiskers are thought to have been an important adaptation in early mammals, including primates.

But then, around 800,000 years ago, we appear to have lost the bit of DNA

that allows for true whiskers.

However, our distant cousins—the other great apes—still have it, and you can see their

whiskers if you look closely.

They are not the big flashy whiskers your cat has, but chimps, gorillas, and orangutans

all have microvibrissae all around their mouths and eyebrows.

There's even evidence that some people today have vestigial muscles in their upper lips

that are leftover from when our primate ancestors had whiskers—

although, not all scientists are convinced about that.

Either way, modern humans seem to have gotten along just fine without whiskers.

All that brain space that was dedicated to getting information from whiskers is now used

to map our sense of touch, with a big chunk going to our fingertips.

And we have pretty good visual systems for navigating, so we don't have to feel our

way around with hairs.

So, if you're wishing you could go out for a nice whisking, or had a sweet set of whiskers

that could make you into like a real-life Daredevil, take heart.

Not having them is part of what makes you human.

But if you want to see me rocking some scientific cat ears,

check out our Talk Show about the brain with Dr. Amanda Duley.

There's a link in the description.

I move them with my mind.

A Story That's Everywhere – With Chris Gethard (HBO) - Duration: 3:46.

Online Painting Classes With The Painting Experience - Duration: 2:25.

When I got home from The Painting

Experience I was really excited to paint

at home but I found it difficult to make time.

That's why Stewart invented the paint-in.

The paint-in holds me accountable for

painting at home and expands that

feeling of community that we built at

the workshop. At a paint-in, I get together

with an intimate group of painters online

from all over the country and we paint!

Come on, let me show you how it works.

It's as simple as opening up an email

invitation, clicking a link and logging

into the session. Once you log in, you'll

be able to see everyone in their

painting space together in real time.

[Stewart:] Hi Everybody. Welcome to the paint-in. Let's get started. [Painter:] I'll start. So this

is a painting I've been working on for

about four days and . . . I'm really excited

to be doing this with all of you.

[Stewart:] How are you doing, Julie? I noticed you

stopped. [Painter:] Yeah, I'm kind of . . . I'm not sure

where to go next.

[Stewart:] Okay guys, it's going to be time to call

it. [Painter:] I really had fun with this. [Painter:] I feel like I could just keep painting, I don't want to stop.

[Stewart: So I hope this gives you an idea of what it's like

to paint online. It's really quite

delightful and you feel part of the

virtual community. You feel supported by

the others around you and you feel

facilitated by me. I can zoom right in,

see you, just you and your painting and

we can have a conversation very much

like we would in a live workshop. So give

it a try!

VCU Summer Studies Professors Read RateMyProfessor Reviews - Duration: 2:16.

Ok, I've never done this before.

Oh my gosh!

This is terrible!

This is my new favorite student.

Are you videoing everything I'm saying right now?

It's all in there, you're not stopping!

Thanks!

"Pretty much taught you things I either already knew from life or picking up an issue of

Cosmo."

Woah!

Ok, I guess Cosmo's come a long way.

Maybe I should get them to come in and be a guest speaker (laughs).

See, this one's spot on, right? "He tries to be the cool professor, and I find him fairly obnoxious.

He's a good professor, but nothing special."

See, this is spot on. This is okay. This doesn't bother me.

I mean, I don't like being called obnoxious.

"He's the worst teacher I have ever had in my life."

I totally respect your opinion, but I disagree (laughs).

Teacher has a attitude and can be very "yatchy."

I have no idea watch 'yatchy' means.

"Where else can you watch 70 style porn and get a grade?"

Ok, I don't know what to say (laughs).

"Saladino is hilarious, his dad jokes kill me!"

I don't have dad jokes, that's what I don't understand!

My jokes are young and hip and super cool because I'm only 29 years old.

"I'm absolutely in love with him, very helpful, very passionate, and not to mention- adorable!"

Well, the point is, love is just so close, you know?

So I don't like it to sound like, "I'm absolutely in love" this is like... ok.

"She is a brilliant woman!"

This student is very perceptive and they're now my new favorite.

"It's a class about different sexual behaviors, positions, and STIs.

Not all sexual things are pretty."

Yeah, true.

"Tough class, but hey, it's college."

Right!

Oh!

I'm so glad I didn't see that!

'Yatchy', I still don't know what that means...

WHY IS YOUTUBE LIKE THIS?! || Reaction Video - Duration: 3:39.

Y'all, YouTube has finally messed up.

Okay this is their final straw.

This is the-I am livid.

This has got to be their biggest mess-up.

I can't believe they even did this!

This is ridiculous.

This is stupid.

Okay you guys have to see for yourself.

Okay see?

See?

You see here?

Do you see?

Right there?

Huh?

What's there?

That's right, NOTHING.

Nothing is there!

YouTube has officially take off all of the slightly illegal to put on YouTube Hotel Hell

episodes that I have been watching for like the past month!

I was only halfway through season 2.

So now what am I going to watch on YouTube?

Huh?!

What on all of YouTube can I watch now?

Video: Beep beep I'm a sheep.

Beep Beep I'm a sheep, I said beep beep I'm a sheep.

Basically welcome to my Favorites folder on YouTube.

See that's how you can tell it's officially mine.

It's because it's on my channel.

And you know what?

I just realized like yesterday, I don't really go through it.

Like ever.

So let's go through it now and remember the good times YouTube had before they cancelled

all of my Hotel Hell episodes.

*angry groan* So my most recent favorite, actually, is this

awesome play-through by ProJared.

I'm not going to watch the whole thing because it's an hour and forty minutes long.

But I highly suggest that you at home watch it in your spare time if you have a spare

two hours.

Cook up a nice pizza, maybe some mini-corndogs to go with it and just sit down and watch

this beautiful, excellent play-through.

We have the new version of "Where's the Chapstick" by Gabby.

If you missed my interview with her, link right here.

Is that where the card is?

This is so great!

This is...I don't know if it's just my childhood talking and the fact that Gabby is such a

great person, but this is so great!

This is such an awesome tribute to the original.

I'm still in awe.

You know I have a lot of Odd1sOut in my favorites folder, but I have to say this is not my favorite

video of all time by him.

Where is it x3 Okay this video, right here, is TheOdd1sOut's

best video.

Lots of Game Grumps.

I was really into Game Grumps.

OOOOO I am kind of partial to just videos that make

no sense.

I don't know why I love YouTube crack, but I do.

So here is one of my favorites from Teen Wolf, which I was really into for a while.

*laughing* I don't know why it's so funny to me!

*continues laughing*

Oh! Grecia's video!

Shiny Teeth and Me Zumba.

I'm not good at Zumba at all.

Grecia, make videos again!!

Video: *Gazebo Song by Wheezy Waiter plays*

Okay this is how much I love this video.

I saw it first on Tumblr and then I spent the next hour trying to find it on YouTube

just so I could share it and then watch it on repeat because watching videos on Tumblr

is awful.

It's the worst platform to watch videos on.

Video: *Skyrim Shuffle by Sekathon plays* I love Skyrim!!!

So that is my favorites playlist on YouTube.

What are some of your favorite YouTube videos of all time?

Please let me know in the comments below and, uh, maybe I'll check them out.

Maybe I'll make a video about it.

Maybe YouTube will put my Hotel Hell episodes back on YouTube so I can keep watching and

not have to be on a cliffhanger of whether or not they save the hotel!

*end theme* Thank you for watching my video!

If you enjoyed it, feel free to subscribe for more like it.

Synchronicities Explained Can You Identify Meaningful 'Coincidences' In Your Life - Duration: 8:06.

Synchronicities Explained Can You Identify Meaningful Coincidences In Your Life

By consciousreminder

How can you identify synchronicities in life?

Lets get started with the basics; why do they occur, what are its types, how to recognize

synchronicities.

Lucky coincidences happen quite frequently.

You mightve had a particularly striking coincidence that you still remember because,

well, it doesnt happen every day!

While it is commonly attributed to luck, destiny, fortune, or some preordained balance of nature,

it may not necessarily be so.

Carl Jung coined the concept of Synchronicity back in the 1920s that will help you understand

why coincidences happen and the role they can play in defining your life!

A Synchronicity is defined as a meaningful coincidence that occurs as a result of the

combination of internal and external events, which cannot be explained via the cause-and-effect

relationship.

You were thinking about something and, before you know it, it materializes in front of you!

Is it just a happy coincidence?

Probably not!

Identifying Synchronicity

Synchronicity exists everywhere!

It is just a matter of being able to recognize it when it happens.

Generally, it is believed that when you are open and responsive to the spirits of the

universe, you get to experience out-of-this-world synchronicities, channeling your worries towards

a productive, presumably predestined end.

It is like a moment of enlightenment, an event that changes your life forever!

At times, the synchronicities may be smaller, less impactful.

At others, it can define the purpose of your life-long journey!

When Do They Occur?

Before we get down to a few examples to explain synchronicities, lets figure out how and

when you are open and responsive to the spirits of the universe.

There are two moments when we reach the apex of consciousness and openness in life.

Special events like births, deaths, crises, escapes, love-related adventures, and travel

can get you closer to yourself and your spiritual realities.

But these arent the only times when synchronicities occur.

Everyday mundane activities like shopping, commuting and others may also present some

value synchronicities to you.

Remember the time you had that particularly painful fight with your loved one and you

were so heartbroken that all the love songs seemed to be about you?

Or the time when you picked up a baby and it instantly smiled at you, as though reassuring

you about the big decision you are about to make?

Well, it is all a part and parcel of synchronicity as long as you are able to deduce a meaningful

conclusion from it.

At times, you are consciously (or subconsciously to be more appropriate) looking for signs

from the universe.

Sometimes you receives these when you least expect them.

Synchronicity may lead you to a sliver of hope and confidence, or get you connected

with the one who is meant to be.

It works wonders for you if you can give it its due share of recognition!

The Types of Synchronicities

Over the years, the information and experiences about synchronicities led to the identification

of three broad categories.

While it is difficult to suggest which of these might have a profound impact on your

life, it nevertheless pays to understand these so you can identify these life-changing moments

when they occur!

I. Single Synchronicities

They are usually those standalone meaningful coincidences that are enlightening on their

own.

It is like meeting an old friend during your morning walk one day, the same one you were

thinking about the day before for whatever reason.

Or the time when you picked up the phone to call up a relative, only to hear his/her voice

at the other end.

Or to find that your best friend just bought you a gift, the same one youve been trying

to get your hands on for quite some time now.

They are all individual events that are pleasantly meaningful or connected.

II.

Strings of Synchronicities

It is when a string of occurrences happen back-to-back, reinforcing a certain belief.

You were thinking about the good old days when the radio started playing a tasteful

tune from the same era.

You remember a particular person, and the next thing you know, s/he is standing right

in front of you at the grocery store!

Youre probably dumbstruck, because you heard a similar name in the morning broadcast.

Too much coincidence to handle?

Blame it on the string of synchronicities!

III.

Clusters of Synchronicities

It gets a little more complex as it progresses.

Lets consider the same example above but now with a twist.

You just got out of a bad relationship, and it somehow led to the good old days.

You remember how youve had had a crush on that particular person youre reminded

of because of the radio.

The morning newspaper has his/her name.

You bump into him/her all of a sudden while shopping for groceries, and s/he invites you

to a lunch.

You find out that the special person is still single, and somehow seems to remember the

same things you do.

While you try to convince yourself its just a random coincidence, the person voices

his/her interest in meeting up again.

And while youre relishing in your good luck, s/he says something that reminds you

what your parents always said about finding the right person at the right time.

There you go, that is what we call clusters of synchronicities because, frankly, theyre

too many to handle!

Trump Ends ANOTHER Michelle Obama Program… And It's NOT Her Lunch Mandates - Duration: 1:52.

In the last few days, the Trump administration scraped former First Lady Michelle Obama's

lunch mandate, making it easier for kids to eat more of what they want.

And now, the administration is ending an "education program for girls," which was spearheaded

by Michelle Obama.

Free Beacon reports: The "Let Girls Learn" program, started

in 2015 by the Obama administration and meant to facilitate educational opportunities for

young girls in developing countries, will immediately cease its operations, according

to a document CNN obtained on Monday.

While aspects of the initiative's programming will continue, employees have been told to

stop using the "Let Girls Learn" name and were told that, as a program unto itself,

"Let Girls Learn" was ending.

"Moving forward, we will not continue to use the 'Let Girls Learn' brand or maintain

a stand-alone program," read an email sent to Peace Corps employees this week by the

agency's acting director Sheila Crowley.

'Let Girls Learn' provided a platform to showcase Peace Corps' strength in community

development, shining a bright light on the work of our Volunteers all over the world,"

Crowley wrote.

"We are so proud of what 'Let Girls Learn' accomplished and we have all of you to thank

for this success."

According to the report, "Let Girls Learn" was primarily run by the Peace Corps and U.S.

Agency for International Development.

Tina Tchen, Michelle Obama's chief of staff while she was first lady, said it was "unfortunate"

to see the end of the branded campaign.

The White House referred questioning to First Lady Melania Trump's representatives, who

declined to comment.

What do you think about this? plese share this news if you agree with President

Trump!

Top 5 Cannabis 420 Marijuana News Stories of the Week including Annie Dookhan on The Johno Show - Duration: 7:18.

Hey Stoners Welcome to The Johno Show I'm your weedtuber host Jonathan.

Here is your countdown of the top 5 Cannabis news stories for the week.

Yeah!

Story Number 5: In "Your Gut Needs Cannabis" News...

Scientists trying to help people with irritable bowel syndrome, colitis and other stomach

ailments are turning to an interesting combination of chili peppers and cannabis.

They found that exposing immune cells to hot temperatures caused the cells to become highly

activated.

Meaning they went to work to protect the body very similar to how a fever can help immune

cells work better.

Surprisingly, immune cells exposed to chili pepper in a Petri dish behaved just like cells

exposed to higher temperatures.

To test this theory they gave mice capsaicin, which is found in chili peppers.

That activated a special kind of cell that suppressed immune responses in the gut.

In 1980, scientists discovered Anandamide when researchers were trying to make sense

of why our body, especially the brain, has cannabinoid receptors.

Scientists believe that nature didn't develop these receptors just so humans could get stoned.

Anandamide is similar to the cannabinoids found in marijuana, but our body actually

produces it naturally.

The mice given capsaicin were shown to also have a stimulated production of anandamide,

which helped heal their guts and suggests that other cannabinoids like marijuana might

have a similar effect.

Story Number 4: In "Well maybe it's too early for that"

news…

Pueblo County Colorado has seen decades of decline but is finally seeing a turnaround

now that Cannabis is legal in the state.

The county has one of the largest outdoor marijuana grows and has seen a boon in the

retail trade of recreational marijuana.

And now they are thinking of other ways to attract tourists to their area.

One idea may not be hitting it's mark though.

The town has built a Kickstarter campaign to fund the National Marijuana Museum.

Museum organizers have begun fundraising and announced the project will be up and running

by summer 2018.

However, to date the project has only raised $153 dollars from 3 supporters.

With a goal of $200K and only 51 days left in the campaign it's not looking like Pueblo

will be home to a marijuana museum anytime soon.

Story Number 3: In "I don't want to say I told you so"

News...

As I've been reporting DCMJ the group that handed out joints during both Trump's inauguration

and this past 4/20; held a pro-cannabis smoke session on U.S. capitol grounds whereby four

of their members were promptly arrested.

According to the group, the event was intended as an act of civil disobedience.

Capitol police said the four were charged with possession, a violation of federal law.

Story Number 2: In "Maybe social media isn't the best

place to promote that kind of thing" News...

The underground party known as the "Philly Smoke Session" was busted by philadelphia

police and 22 people were arrested at the event, 175 others were released without charge.

The event was heavily promoted on social media as a Spring Fling.

In addition to the arrests, police confiscated fifty pounds of marijuana and 100 pounds of

THC-infused edibles, four handguns, and $50,000 in cash.

Police say they also executed two search warrants on homes owned by the event coordinators where

additional contraband was found.

The following day, protesters stood outside police headquarters in support of the almost

two dozen arrested.

Story Number 1: In "Her own husband called her a liar"

News...

The single largest dismissal of criminal convictions in U.S. history is taking place in Massachusetts

as I speak.

24,000 drug convictions were tainted by a former state drug lab chemist who pleaded

guilty to tampering with evidence and falsifying tests.

Annie Dookhan worked for Massachusetts law enforcement from 2003 until 2012.

Dookhan pleaded guilty in 2013 to charges of obstruction of justice, perjury and tampering

with evidence.

She was sentenced to three years in prison and was paroled last year.

Prosecutors said Dookhan admitted 'dry labbing,' or testing only a fraction of a batch of samples,

then listing them all as positive for illegal drugs.

Her motive was to highlight her productivity and reputation.

She also falsely claimed to have a master's degree in chemistry.

Her own husband, once told a prosecutor quote 'She's a liar, she's always lying.

She is looking for sympathy and attention.'

She was reported as early as 2007 for shoddy work and underhanded tactics, including forging

a supervisor's signature and making up test results.

In 2004, her first year on the job, Dookhan tested more than three times the average chemist

in the lab.

The following year, she tested almost twice that of the next most prolific tester.

Unfortunately, instead of reprimanding her, her supervisors nicknamed her 'superwoman'

Annie.

Now most of the impacted defendants affected by Dookhan had already served their sentences

but will see their convictions wiped away; helping them seek employment and housing.

And Now onto ANNOUNCEMENTS

5 Awesome Things The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Does Better - Duration: 7:12.

Open World games are by no means new, on the contrary I'd venture to say they've teetered

on overdone and contrived in the past couple of years, that is until 2 very important games

were released.

Horizon Zero Dawn & The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild to many little things MUCH better

than open world games leading up to their creation.

I'm Aj from Fanatix Four and I want to dive into those things so game devs know moving

forward Things Every Open World Game Needs to Start Getting Right.

Video games are increasingly becoming the most interesting place to tell stories.

Games like The Last of Us, The Walking Dead, & Journey have expertly illustrated best practices

for storytelling in games.

Though those games have a significantly easier time with crafting a cohesive narrative due

to the nature of those games, it doesn't preclude open world games from taking notes

from those games.

A trap open world games tend to fall into in regards to story is a disjointed approach

to the story they present and the story that the player will actually experience in their

gameplay.

Something that Breath of the Wild does right in this area is it makes discovery part of

the main objective.

The player is tasked with discovering the world around them to recover Link's lost

memories and prepare himself to ultimately take down Calamity Ganon.

Everything you do in the world furthers your progression in that direction.

A standout open world game released prior to Breath of the Wild illustrates the WRONG

way to do this.

Fallout 4's story tasks you with the initial objective of rescuing your kidnapped son,

HOWEVER this otherwise pressing matter gets pushed to the back burner in favor of finding

settlers or fighting off radroaches.

By no means am I saying that Fallout for is a bad game, however, I do believe a story

that supports the gameplay experience is a smart way to go for the current AAA landscape.

Now you may think story and world building are one and the same, I disagree, partially,

at least.

More linear games like Dark Souls or my personal favorite of games of its ilk, Bloodborne showed

us that games don't need precipitous exposition dumps to clue us in on what has happened in

the world prior to our introduction to it.

Open world games typically pride themselves on the size of their worlds.

Problem is, not many of those games do much WITH those worlds to teach us about them.

If there's a dragon I need to chase I should see claw marks throughout the world that deepen

as I get closer to its lair, terrified, distraught, frantic villagers, half eaten wildlife, and

signs of the knights that ventured and failed to destroy it before me - not just a cutscene

or 2 belaboring the fact that it exists.

After all, what's the point of a massive world if it's only used as a benchmark for

other games?

In a world full of jacks, I'd say combat tends to be the weakest link amongst the other

qualities of open worlds.

Back in 2009 the combat system in Batman Arkham Asylum blew many of us gamers away, little

did we knew, it blew devs away even more.

Or at least the proliferation of similar if not carbon copied versions of it.

This combat system is fine in that it gets the job done, but I find it uninteresting

and bare bones.

There's not much variety in reaching the opportune outcome.

You punch, you kick, you parry, you win.

Now lets look at Horizon Zero Dawn's combat system.

Most battle in this game feel like full fledged boss battles if noms battles had systems running

in the background that caused said bosses to have more than 1 distinct way to cause

damage.

In fact, I'd go as far as saying the most open part of Horizon overall is its combat.

Now at the risk of causing an uproar in the comments, Breath of the Wild is also a good

place to go for inspiration for combat systems.

If you wanted to, you can take on enemies using a boulder you found in the opening hours

of the game, or you could daisy chain a string of metal weapons to electrocute it, or you

could use a octopus corpse to drop bombs from the sky, or you could send a horde of chickens

to murder him to death.

Or you could… you know what, you get the point.

There are endless possibilities in Zelda's combat.

Now am I saying every open world game' combat should be THAT open?

No.

I don't even necessarily think every open world game NEEDS combat.

But, the ones that have it should definitely look into opening up more in that area.

This one can get a bit tricky, I mean, how could you POSSIBLY expect every game to handle

objectives correctly?

Developers would need to find the correct objectives to support the story while making

sure they're fun to play through, find the sweet spot right smack dab in the middle of

emptiness and being bloated and unnecessary, in addition to possibly the most important

thing - they need to be satisfying and varied enough throughout an experience that'll

likely occupy hundreds of hours.

The trap that many open world games fall into is delegating their objectives to being conduits

that seek to nudge you into exploring the world.

Quests like "find and kill so and so" or "overtake the enemy stronghold!"

Breath of the Wild takes this approach & flips it on its head.

Objectives end up popping up as a result of you exploring the world rather than being

the reason behind your exploration.

& quests range from solving physics based puzzles to snowboarding to reach a goal before

time runs out.

All of which are open ended enough to solve them by getting creative with the physics

engine to cut corners.

Some open world games give you a level of choice in how you complete objectives but

they usually just break down into: "Do you want to do this stealthily and go undetected?

Or go in guns blazing?"

All of that to say, open world games need to give the player a wider variety in what

to do, and how to do it.

This is BY FAR the most important thing to get right, after all, if the player doesn't

WANT to explore your world, it might as well not be there.

A player should spend more time saying "OOO WHAT'S THAT?"

Than they spend saying "Ok, what do I need to do next?" & this goes hand and hand with

what I said about quests and objectives, they should be a by-product of exploration.

Not a way to force it.

Moreover it needs to feel FUN to explore.

Let's run back to the Zelda well, shall we?

In Breath of the Wild exploring is routinely a part of the puzzle;e, and not in the typical

way of the player needing to find the predefined path to the objective.

It's more about finding a way to get to where you want to go in the way YOU want to

do it.

They don't even gatekeep exploration outside of the tutorial section in the beginning like

most open world games do to inch the player into feeling powerful but confined at the

same time.

From the very beginning of the game, Breath of the Wild affords the player the tools needed

to clear the main objective.

Everything that you can pick up along the way by way of optional dungeons and quests

only serve to make that easier.

Exploration is allowed to feel fun because everything can serve as preparation for the

future, rather than feeling like a distraction from the end goal.

At the end of the day developers should be making a game that's made with cohesion

in mind.

Everything needs to support a core purpose.

If a game is open world everything in the game needs to support that idea,, not just

being open world to have it on the box.

But those are my thoughts!

What do you think developers need to get right with their open world games?

Do you think the frequency that they've been releasing recently is too much?

The Talented Mr. Ripley - Lensky's Aria (Kuda Kuda) - Duration: 6:46.

Where, where, where have you gone,

spring of my golden days?

What does the coming day have in store for me ?

It escapes my eyes ,

it is hidden in deep darkness!

But nevertheless, the law of fate cannot be wrong

Shall I fall to the deadly arrow,

or will it pass by?

All for the better.

For life and for sleep,

there is a pre-determined time.

Blessed is a day of simple tasks.

And blessed is the day of darkness.

When the day beam shines in the morning,

And the bright day shall reign

But I, perhaps, will descent

Into mysterious darkness

of my fatal tomb?

And the memory of a young poet

will fall into the Abyss

The world shall forget me,

but you,

you,

Olga!

Tell me,

will you,maiden of beauty,

will you shed a tear over the early urn?

And think "he loved me,

he devoted to me

The gloomy dawn of his troubled life!

Ah Olga, I did love you,

To you alone I devoted

The gloomy dawn of my troubled life

Yes Olga,

I did love you!

My beloved friend,

my dear friend,

Come, come!

Beloved friend,

please come,

please come,

come,

come,

I'm waiting for you,

COME , COME !

I'm your spouse

Where,

where,

where have you gone,

golden days,

golden days,

of my spring?
