So I've been around the block

but, it's a lot easier now to get binders... but there are still a lot of people who can't afford them

SO, I have partnered off with GC2B

which is a binder company... that is run by somebody who is non-binary

which I think is awesome!

... you can't "tell" if someone is trans

I want you to tell me: what size, what style, and what colour binder you want

because... if you win, it's not like "I only have 10 binders and they are all small", nothing like that!

If you wanted a binder that is black, that is this specific model, and you wanted an extra large (XL)... Cool

you just send me that information in the email

what I'm going to do... because I'm going to get a WHOLE bunch of emails

I am going to do what we do in [ laughs ] this is like... "I'm using my degree for something!"

in Sociology, in the STATS class that I learned

there IS a way to do random selection. You pick a number.. let's say I pick the number 27

So I will go down the list, and every 27th person will be the person... like I'll divide how many emails there are

and blah blah..

[Sniff]

so I'll pick a random number out of that list

So it'll be every 27th person, [they] will get an email saying "Congratulations, you've got a binder!"

Once I send you the email saying that you've got the binder... you have 5 business days to reply.

I'm saying this, because then it will be so much easier for me to give the information to GC2B

who are going to ship it from their area to you directly

So I'm not the "Middle Man", that's going to get all these binders and then have to ship them.

instead it's going to be directly from the company

which is fantastic!

so I know this seems complicated, OK... but listen

I know that you might be watching this later on in the month

OK... but from the 1st of the month, to the 5th... that is when I am accepting emails to be put into this give-away

after the 5th at midnight Eastern Time, it is closed.

all those email will not count into the decision here.

Once the 5 people have been chosen, from the email group that have emailed me in those 5 days

ALL of those emails will be deleted.

AND if you want to apply for next month

Why Don't Time Machines Exist Already? - Duration: 3:37.

Hey there and welcome to Life Noggin.

Have you ever wondered why we don't have time machines already?

Surely with all the technological wonder of today, someone would have figured out a way

for me to go back in time and ask my animator why he didn't give me bigger muscles.

Is time travel even possible?

Let's see if we can go back in time and convince everyone we're all named Calvin

Klien… we just need to get a DeLorean first.

Can we time travel?

Sure, we're always doing it!

I mean you travel in time whether you're just sitting there, walking the dog, or even

taking a well-deserved nap!

But I know, I know, that's not what we're really asking.

We want to know if we can travel in time faster or slower than we typically do, or if we could

potentially even travel /backwards/ in time.

The answer to at least part of that is a big ol' yes!

We can relatively change the speed at which we travel through time.

Popularized in 1905 by the great Albert Einstein, the theory of special relativity determined

that time does not pass at the same rate for everyone.

Through a phenomenon called time dilation, an observer moving relatively fast would measure

time passing more /slowly/ than a relatively stationary observer would.

This means that in a relative sense, time passes more slowly for Usain Bolt while he's

running a race than when you're chilling at home, watching a brand new episode of Life

Noggin.

This is also why an astronaut sent into space would age slightly /slower/ than their twin

sister down on Earth.

It's not just simply speed though; more gravity also makes time slow down as well.

This was determined from Einstein's theory of general relativity when he realized that

massive objects cause a distortion in space-time.

Clocks closer to a massive object, like the Earth, would seem to tick more slowly than

clocks further away.

That's why your feet are probably a super tiny bit younger than your head is.

That is, unless you're doing handstands all day.

Keep it up over there, Young Ears!

But what about traveling backwards in time?

While it might not be the best to completely rule it out as a possibility, quite a few

scientists believe that it could never really happen.

Stephen Hawking is one of the brilliant scientists that has thought we can't travel back in

time and he threw an interesting party to give validity to that point.

He threw a big party, but only publicised it /after/ the party was over.

In theory, if people could travel back in time, then they could have heard about his

party in the future and traveled back to attend the experiment in time travel… but nobody

showed up.

While this obviously doesn't prove that time travel to the past isn't possible,

it was quite an interesting experiment.

I don't know about you, but I would have traveled back in time if I could to hang out

with /the/ Stephen Hawking!

That said, there are some that believe time travel to the past might be possible utilizing

some super awesome things, like wormholes for instance!

Not to mention, there might be a way to travel back in time using certain laws of physics

or sciences that we've yet to find!

Maybe this weird thing holds the answer?

I still don't know what it does!

Drug companies are taking advantage of people

by overcharging for their drugs.

Congress needs to do something.

I often thought that if my life was going to end early

it was going to end because of something happening in a war zone.

It was not going to end because of cancer.

I was running projects in other countries.

I did things like running elections or anticorruption programs.

I was living in Afghanistan and I feel something and I called my doctor

back in the United States and he said, "You'd better come home

and get an exam."

By this time, the cancer had metastasized.

I now need chemotherapy to stay alive.

My life depends on prescription drugs.

It's very easy for drug companies to gouge us

and demand ridiculous amounts of money

since our lives depend on these drugs.

My biggest fear is that I'm going to run out of money

before I run out of time.

And no one should live that way.

We have to do something about the price of drugs for all Americans.

That's what will drive me until I die.

This is the place where mom and dad has moved to.

So here we are today, day 2 in our easter holiday.

We drove from Gol earlier today, and we will see how Aurland and Flåm is. Flåm is just next to Aurland.

We found a playground.

We have really good easter weather right now. It was only 7 degrees in the shaddow earlier, but now its super.

I sit her ein the sun, or I can lay in the sun. And Im not even wearing a jacket.

Very nice.

Im enjoying myself, and I watch the mountains. Mountains everywhere.

Here is a cruise ship

This ship takes 500 persons.

And its pretty early in the season, there will be bigger ships.

Is this boat number 2?

This is boat number 2 my mother says.

We are going in to Flåm later and then we will see this ship in the dock.

Its called Astoria.

How To Rap: Big Words & Homonyms - Duration: 4:28.

whats up guys its Dono in this video

I'm going to be talking about two

different questions but they were from

the same person and basically what they

asked was how do you incorporate big

words into your verses and how do you

use homonyms so we're going to start out

with how to incorporate big words into

your verses and I've got three main tips

for that the first thing that you're

going to need to do is understand

syllable count so when you're using

bigger words they're going to have a lot

of syllables since the typical syllable

count per line is about 10 to 16

syllables roughly if you're using these

really big words your lines get

shortened really quickly so being able

to count syllables so that you can slot

them into the lines is going to be

pivotal in being able to use these

bigger words the second thing to be sure

of when you're using bigger words is to

make sure that you're using them the

right way make sure you understand the

definition make sure you're using them

correctly there's nothing that sounds

worse than when you just slot in these

big words and they don't really make any

sense if you don't know what a word

means look it up look up the definition

figure out what it means otherwise I

would really recommend against using it

because you're probably saying something

that is completely nonsensical third

thing to remember when trying to use

these big words is make sure that you're

using them to enhance your verse not

just because you're trying to sound

smart right you can pack tons and tons

of these really big words together but

if it doesn't add meaning it's going to

be a lot harder to make the song sound

good. A lot of these big words take up

a lot of space in the lines like we

talked about and it makes it harder to

get a message across so when you're

using these big words make sure you're

using them in a way that actually

promotes what you're trying to put

together and put your message across not

so you just sound smart because a lot of

times just trying to sound smart is

actually gonna make you sound stupid

because you're smashing all the

stuff together in a way that's just

ridiculous now let's quickly switch over

into homonyms so homonyms are basically

just words that sound the same but have

different meanings so for example you

might say fair and fair right you can

either have something that's fair like

it's equal like oh that's there or oh

that's not fair or you can have fair

mean the price you pay for some mode of

transportation another example is left

right so left can be a direction or left

can be you know like left behind so you

can use homonyms in a couple ways one of

the ways is through double meaning

wordplay so I covered this in a couple

other videos but I'll give you a quick

example here pick a side quick because

the end in sight those wait right might

be getting left tonight so we're playing

off of left and right but also you know

being left kind of integrating both of

those meanings into the two lines and

then we're also kind of integrating pick

a side right we're using other words to

kind of build around the word play

that's getting used so that's one way to

use homonyms another way to use homonyms

is to kind of stack them into the verse

a lot of people like to do that so that

you're using the same word for multiple

definitions but it's built into close

proximity let me give you a quick

example of that she always told me she

thought life wasn't fair because no one

cares that you always paid your own fare

so those are just a couple of ways you

can use homonyms if you're really

interested in it I recommend that you

dig in and find a lot of different types

of homonyms a lot of different words and

then also figure out word play a little

bit better so that you can use them more

effectively so hopefully that gives you

a couple of ways that you can

incorporate big words into your raps as

well as ways to start using homonyms

President Trump gave an amazing speech at the farm expo center on Saturday to celebrate

the completion of his first 100 days in office.

He then made sure that he attacked his biggest enemy: The news media.

The rally was timed to happen at the exact same time at the White House press corps dinner

in Washingon.

President Trump declined to attend and then spent the time insulting the �failing New

York Times�, CNN and MSNBC.

He called the dishonest.

Trump is talking about these losers specifically.

It is their job to report on facts, but the thing is that they don�t work at all.

They are fat, lazy and failing.

�Their priorities are not my priorities, and not your priorities,� President Trump

said.

�If the media�s job is to be honest and tell the truth, the media deserves a very,

very big fat failing grade,� he said, adding that they were �very dishonest people.�

Then Trump spoke about the hard work that he has put in so far during his Presidency.

Let�s send our President some more sport.

Screw the media.

They suck anyways.
