Youtube daily report Sep 20 2017

Hi, I'm Maciej and today I will open a package from Qiyi Moffangge Cube

There are 2 new 2x2 cubes - MFG Wuxia

So let's open it

So here they are!

One of them has magnets inside and the second one hasn't magnets

Both are stickerless and I find it really cool

In these nice boxes you can store different cubes like 3x3 or skewb

They protect cubes from destroying of something like that

Here is information that this one is magnetic

Shades are really good

Internal elements are primary

So that's nice combination

My favourite colours of colourful plastic, I mean dark blue, orange and green is also cool

Let's do some moves on this cube

I'm very excited because 2x2 is my main event

And maybe this cube will be my main 2x2

It's smooth and has light feeling

It's not very fast at the moment

I've heard that after regulation and lubrication it should change

feeling of this cube is similiar to feeling of Yuxin white

It's cube from Wu-line

like Wuque or Wuji

And in my opinion all cubes from this line are the best on the market

So that means that this cube is going to be the greatest 2x2

First impressions are very great

More impressions snd information will be in my review

Now let's try magnetic version

Magnets aren't too strong, so I like it

I'm shocked because I like it more than standard version

Usually I don't prefer magnetic 2x2 cubes

Because in my opinion they decrease my TPS

But in this cube magnets aren't too strong

But I think they make this cube even better

I like it very much

I will make a review of these 2 cubes

so stay tunned

At the end of video you can see some solves on this cube

Feeling as in yuxin white, corner cutting isn't measurable right now beacuse cube needs proper tentioning

Construction of the cube is similar to Yuxin white

It's updated version of Yuxin White in my opinion

And it's possible that will be my main 2x2 cube

Huge thanks to Rex from Moffange for sending me these cubes

And see you in the next video

Bye!

Welcome To SongSweep, Where I Overthink Music | Channel Trailer - Duration: 1:42.

welcome to songsweep I want to get better at making music on this channel I

share all the things I learn and if you're trying to get better at making

music too I hope you'll find my videos useful I'm uploading five or four times in a

week from Wednesdays to Sundays most of the things I talk about are related to

hip-hop but don't be surprised to find a video about post-rock or industrial on

Wednesdays I talk about beat making in general sharing the things that helped

me grow in the past or some new stuff I learned recently on Thursdays I do beat

recipes in this series I take an instrumental by another producer and

make a beat inspired by it highlighting the most interesting parts of the

process there are Ableton projects in every recipe video if you wanna take a

closer look on Fridays I do classic songsweep episodes the kind of thing I

started this channel with overthinking music is a good blanket term for this

series I'm discussing stuff like psychoacoustics interesting details and tricks

I hear in songs subversive body language of Death Grips you name it

these episodes take longer to make because I have to do some research so

that's why I'm uploading them on a "when it's done" basis meaning that this is not

a weekly series on Saturdays I do beat deep dives in this videos I focus on the

beat structure and relationships between elements in it and what they do for the

instrumental as a whole useful if you want to understand better

how hip hop instrumentals are built on Sundays I do mix deep dives where a break

down mixes on successful hip hop songs in order to understand how the layers of

instrumentation are put together on them thank you for sticking around to the end

of this video check out these playlists if you're interested in what this

channel is about and I hope to see you soon

So why you wanna run from me now love?

Becoming what you tried to get away from

Now you're coming back for more

I left a hole in the dry wall

You left a whole lot behind while

Baby this ain't love that you're a afraid of

I Got you running for the door

You wanted everyone else, girl

I wanted you to myself, but

Fuck your feelings, I don't need them

Someday I'm gonna be somebody

Alejandro Geberovich (Argentina) on the Feurich 218 Concert I - Duration: 7:28.

My name is Alejandro Geberovich.

I come from Argentina,

and I came to Europe, in particular to Vienna,

attracted to the music,

with intention of perfecting my command of my instrument -

the piano.

And, I completed my studies in

the School for Music and Performing Arts in Vienna,

as it was known when I studied there;

nowadays it is called the

University of Music and Performing Arts.

And after some years I decided to stay in Vienna

and I started to give classes,

and I ended up in the conservatory in Vienna,

now known as the Music and Arts University of Vienna,

giving masterclasses for the concert pianists there.

And now, I have the chance to play

on this marvellous instrument,

and I have to say that

the more I play it, the more I like it.

It is an instrument which responds very well,

and with which you can create many different colours.

- and that's something which is very important.

It has a sound which is long and sustained,

and an action which responds very well, very quickly,

and in this sense I like it a lot.

That is, I felt very comfortable playing it.

PG&E Partners With a Woman-Owned Business to Recycle Street Lights - Duration: 2:25.

We pick it up and move it over there. Seems smart. Laurel

Harrop always had a passion for the environment. After

graduating from the University of San Francisco, she started

Laurel Environmental Group, a company which recycles street

lights. Harrop started the company in 2011 with $6,000 she

saved while working through college. She ran her business

out of what she calls a "teeny-tiny" storage space in

San Diego County. Harrop spent her days recycling scrap metal

and interior lights. But then she got the job to recycle

35,000 street lights from the city of San Diego, as they

converted their lights to LED.

I really didn't know too much

about it. So, I really got a lot of help from different recycling

companies. They were very helpful. They taught me about

the metals and even the other components and how we could find

somewhere for them to be recycled. That San Diego project

literally turned on a light bulb in Harrop's head. When I got

that project, I saw how big it was. And how this is something

new that cities are starting to do. Harrop noticed PG&E wanted

to recycle 170,000 street lights. After a year of emails,

conversations and a site visit, Harrop got the job. The process

is quite simple and runs parallel to PG&E's goal of being

sustainable. The work is being done at Laurel's Stockton

location.

They brought to us a solution that utilizes every bit

of the street lights that we wanted to recycle. Some

companies were willing to recycle the metal parts. But

Laurel made a commitment to recycling every element. The

partnership has been mutually beneficial. PG&E's supply chain

responsibility program is strengthening its reputation as

an environmental steward. Thanks to PG&E, Harrop made a

presentation at a major industry conference last year. That's

exposed her to new clients. PG&E has doubled our volume of street

lights. So, it's helped us grow greatly. And, aside from just

that immediate growth, we also have received more business

because I can talk about our project we're doing with PG&E.

Bringing on suppliers that are going to help us be

environmental leaders is very important to us.

For Currents, I'm Tony Khing.

Can Universal Basic Income End Our Cultural Obsession With Work? | Philosopher Andrew Taggart - Duration: 8:07.

'Total work' was a term coined by Josef Pieper, a lesser known German philosopher from the

20th century, and he was concerned that after World War II there would be a time of total

work.

By that I take him to mean that work comes to be the center around which the world turns.

Human beings start to see themselves chiefly as workers, and the entirety of life becomes

more and more work, or work like.

To see this we can begin to examine a number of what I might call tightening conditions.

So the first condition would be the centrality of work.

We've come to think that work is actually the center and everything else begins to turn

around it.

To see this more clearly we can think about the fact that we woke up to go to work today

or that we are going home from work today.

That we are preparing for work.

That we are preparing to leave work.

And this is happening all the way around the world.

Meanwhile we're adjusting our schedules, the rest of our lives, so that they are turning

about it.

So that would be the first condition.

The second condition is subordination.

That everything else in life comes to seem as if it's subordinate to, and to be put

in the service of, work.

We can think of sleeping: the idea is that we wish to sleep well today in order to be

focused and prepared for work.

And that when we're at work we wish to be as productive as possible.

So sleep becomes that which is an instrument in the service of productivity.

And we can play that game with all sorts of different instances.

The third condition is the resemblance claim.

It seems as if everything else in life comes to resemble work, more and more.

So you can think of, on a day off you are wanting to be as productive as possible, thinking

about how much you got done.

You can begin to think about all the ways in which you plan and schedule time with children.

The terms that begin to mark out our lives even when we're not actually working sound

more and more work like.

And the last condition I think is the most intense and that's what I might call cultural

forgetfulness.

We've come to almost forget that there was a time in which work was not the center of

the world, that there are other ways of life that proceed the modern world, in which work

was a part of life but was not the focus of life.

We forget that that's still true today with other cultures, some other cultures.

And we forget that there could actually be a time when work would not be that around

which the rest of the world turns.

So what I'm not claiming is that we have actually achieved total work.

What I'm claiming rather is that we are on the verge of doing so.

And then indeed we should be grateful that we have yet to arrive at a time, a dystopian

time, where work is total.

Well suppose there were to come to pass Universal Basic Income.

And suppose, for the sake of argument, that that were sufficient to meet our material

needs—that is, those concerned with having enough food, proper shelter, sufficient warmth,

sufficient coldness, and the like, so that it was enough.

As one philosopher, Harry Frankfurt, calls it we have doctrine of sufficiency.

So suppose basic income allowed us all to have enough.

Then once again I think we would need to think about what we would do with ourselves.

Aristotle in 'Politics' says, really quite famously, that we non-leisure in order to

have leisure.

And that was the way that it would be translated: we non-leisure in order to have leisure.

The question is how are we going to dwell on our leisure? And I think we've been educated

to a point at which we really don't know how to answer that question.

People, I think, are struck by a very difficult condition, which is a medieval condition,

called acedia.

Acedia is hard to translate but it means that there's a restlessness of spirit, an inability

to be still or quiet in being.

Instead when you watch people you see, time and time again, that they're actually quite

restless.

They can't dwell with what they're doing.

They can't so easily pay attention.

I don't think that's the result of technology but I think technology has exacerbated that

condition.

So the trouble with a lot of policy statements associated with Universal Basic Income is

not the particulars, not the particular policy statements themselves, it's rather the philosophical

question: how are we going to actually occupy ourselves?

How are we going to live individually and in community if we don't have work as that

which is governing each of our days, let alone the totality of our lives.

There are three common objections that are made to the argument that we have entered

a time that is on the verge of total work.

The first objection is to say that well, certainly we have to meet our basic needs and it is

through work that we do so.

And I would grant that claim.

That is, I'm not actually arguing against the idea that work would play some role in

our lives, some role during our waking hours, some role during the unfolding of our life.

What I'm objecting to is the idea that it becomes everything, the be all and end all.

So once we go past the point of meeting our own material needs, our own ability to survive,

then we've gotten into trouble, I'm arguing.

The second misconception is that people commonly think that what I'm arguing for is work-life

balance, and I'm not actually arguing for that.

That is, I think the idea of work-life balance is actually something that total work takes

up and enjoys operating with, meaning if you actually put work on one side and the rest

of life on the other and claim that work is as important as love and joy and religious

worship and philosophical investigations and an investigation of the cosmos.

If you really think that everything in life is as valuable as work then I think that's

also a matter to reconsider.

It's rather these other matters are actually more important than the value we accord to

work.

And the third misconception is that I'm just arguing against overwork, and I don't

think that's really what I'm up to.

I think that overwork actually is a local manifestation of total work.

Instead I think it's the case that surely we wouldn't probably work as much if we

care less about work.

That is certainly true.

But I think that overwork is simply a red herring, a way of trying to deflect attention

from the ways in which, in our ordinary everyday lives, work has come to matter to us so deeply.

We think that there are simply a few people out there who are working far too much, and

we pathologize them, saying that they are just workaholics; they care too much.

But we have yet to actually investigate the ways in which that's true for us as well.

FENTY BEAUTY Pro Filt'r Foundation + Match Stix Skinstick + Killawatt Highlighter | Raquel Mendes - Duration: 14:47.

hi we're back and I just have to say first of all I'm so sorry that

this video is so late because I was on vacation when Fenty Beauty launched I

also hated doing the pre filmed videos even though I did want you to have liked

videos while I was on vacation I just felt so like out of touch with the

videos that were coming out I don't know if that makes any kind of sense but yeah

so we're going to talk about fenty beauty of course as you might have seen

and again I'm sorry I'm so late I don't know if anybody still cares cause

it's been talked but I've heard very mixed reviews so I just wanted to

try it out for myself and maybe some of you guys would like to

know my opinion I don't know but before we get into it don't forget

to subscribe to the channel and click the little bell button so that you know

every single time I upload because otherwise you just won't I did get of

course the foundation and I have I have three match stix one matte and two

shimmer and one Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo so this is the pro filt'r soft matte

long-wear foundation you've probably heard of this because of so many things

first of all it's Rihanna it has forty shades was just unheard of

but I heard she said that she was gonna bring out more even more shades for the

darker skin tones and I got shave 110 I hope this is the right shade I feel like

from the swatches this was the closest to me there's a shade 100 which is even

lighter I felt like that was too light for me it's just really pretty and it

says to shake well so that's what we're gonna do

this is my two week tan I believe this is the right shade if it doesn't oxidize

so I debated on whether to get the primer or not I ended up not getting it

because people were so so curious about the foundation I wanted to test it on

its own so that I can actually evaluate the foundation and not the foundation

in combo with a primer if I like the foundation I might go back for the

primer and I see so yeah I've heard a lot of

mixed reviews to say the least so a lot of people said that this was amazing and

that it was everything they've been waiting for a lot of other people though

said that it was drying and oily at the same time and chalky and so we're here

to test that out and a soft matte is legit my favorite kind of finish cuz I

love Matt but I also have dehydrated skin so on first application I can

definitely see what people are talking about when they say it's drying I kind

of felt like a tightening effect and it's not even set I don't know if that's

I don't know if I'm being paranoid but it is a teensy bit cakey but honestly

I've worked with other foundations that ended up looking flawlessly and looked

even more cakey when applied so I'm gonna give it the benefit of his doubt

I'm gonna go for a second layer the coverage right now is yeah medium so I

believe we could build us up to full I'm just gonna go the most pigmented

areas of course right now all my areas are pigmented areas so it doesn't

oxidize a lot which is great I feel like I'm scaring you guys I'm so pale it does

feel a little bit cakey on building it up

it isn't setting so what I go like this it kind of drags on a little bit isn't

that cakey as you can see my blemishes look fairly

non patchy here is a part where it is a little bit more cakey of course as you

know but even then this is the worst one it takes a lot more work than the

perfect foundation to work it in but once you work it in it kind of looks

good and I feel like it will look even better when I set it yeah this is def

not self setting and it's still a little transferable which is fine with me

but at the same time it does have a drying effect that I don't know where

it's coming from I don't know I don't know I guess we'll see throughout the

day if it gets uncomfortable I hope it doesn't but we'll see

first before setting though I'm gonna use the one of the match stix and this

is a matte one the lightest matte one which is called porcelain and I just

can't get over how cute the packaging is this is this is how much product you

have this is gonna be darker than the Foundation which is disappointing I'm gonna

use this under-eye I don't know if I'm gonna like this at least under eyes I'm

gonna try to dab it onto my pimples as well I usually tend to prefer liquid

pasty pimple concealers just because you can build them on easily whereas when

it's a stick it kind of drags on to everything and I rarely use stick under-eye

concealers yeah no I don't I don't like this it won't blend it just

is there I can drag it out so yeah I'm not a fan of a concealer I set

everything up with my by Terry Hydra powder it does everything does feel a

little bit tightening a little bit drying which is weird because the

foundation doesn't set self doesn't self set itself doesn't set itself oh my god

but yeah I was going into the shimmer sticks now so first I'm gonna go into

chili mango which is this beautiful thing it's a little bit shimmery but

like a blush shimmery not a highlighter shimmery so I was applying it to here I

don't know if you can see anything there was a little bit here anyway what I was

saying is that it does apply rather nicely

it doesn't like wash away the coverage there which i think is great and

honestly I just love the color I feel like this would be great for summer more

than it would be for winter cuz of course it's like a cream product or for

people we're very low coverage foundation I

think this would be better then so in my ideal world I would not use this paired

with this I'd use this pair would like a lower coverage foundation that wasn't as

powdery and stuff but now I'm gonna apply it directly to the Beautyblender

oh definitely prefer this method

definitely going to use this more in the summer than winter but I like it and now

we're going to go into the actual highlighter this is trippin the other

one was match stix chili mango this is match stix trippin I think this is a little stiff for a

highlighter to be on top on this type of foundation I think for summer if you're

wearing almost nothing or like a low coverage thing it would be better it's

still a very like orangie type of highlighter which is unique and I don't

have and that's why I got this one I don't hate it I don't think it's a waste

of money such as the concealer is but I definitely think the idea of it is not

as well executed in the product I definitely love the color it's like a

golden Coralie shade okay it's like the second time this is happening I

don't know why my camera isn't recording but I've just applied the highlighter

this is a killawatt freestyle highlighter duo I got it again I love the packaging it is dis cute this

is mean honey and this is hu$tla baby this one right here is hustler baby it's

beautiful it's unlike anything I have in my collection I think it's like a golden

orangie things I don't usually love gold highlighters so the actually

feature one I knew I wasn't gonna like but this one looks beautiful mean honey

I can't even swatch there's no pigment coming out it's like a satiny setting

powder basically but the other one is very very pigmented and it looks like

this the foundation right now is a cakey mess I'm gonna come up close but it's

turned so cakey so fast I even so I don't regret buying that's

just for this part of the highlighter look at this mess

but also I just wanted to because the camera was off when I was applying the

highlighter I'm gonna just into this one cute little thing I'm just gonna apply

here a little so you can see that it is very powerful on a like one swipe kind

of thing mm-hmm I try to be a subtle highlighter kind of

person every once in a while it gets to me whoa now we'll see you by the end of

the day which will be like six to eight hours from now I gotta be honest this

does not look great I I have no words so when I apply the foundation it felt a

little bit cakey and kind of tightening right away when I did look myself in the

mirror it didn't look that bad right after but then it's just guys I don't

know it just it looks really bad and I'm gonna come up close but firstly I just

want to mention that there's a lot of oil going on so when I first applied it

it was very tightening it seems it didn't self set it wasn't totally matte

so the soft matte kind of description kind of fits as a finish but at the same

time he was so drying that that type of dryness usually comes from a very very

matte kind of foundation which is weird so I said it with a powder and it's set

and became non-transferable but it was really uncomfortable for the first hour

or so and then all hell broke loose because I'm oilier then I've ever been

I think with any of the foundations that I have ever tested since I began this

series I have tested so many and even for example the double wear and the YSL

which were really matte they were like satin finishes and they

weren't as oily as this one is look guys I really wanted to love this you guys

know that I'm not like usually a bashing person I try to say pretty positive

about everything even when stuff is a little bit cakey but this was never

good it wasn't good at first application it only got worse and worse and worse

it makes my pores look like they're out of this world I've never quite seen

anything like it I honestly I was just talking to a friend about like why there

are so many positive reviews about this there are a few reasons why this might

have good reviews on other people of course every product reacts differently

to every skin type but it's quite puzzling to me that there are being so many

glowing reviews about it so here's a few things that may be happening if the person

review has like a darker skin tone then I explained this before and this might

be happening here as well you know like the paler the shade the patcher and cakier

it's gonna be and it's if you compare it to like lipsticks if you wear like a

true red or a true pink it's gonna probably look in a nice formula

flawless but if there is like a pastel-y pink a pastel-y coral or something like

that it's gonna look a lot more cakey and it's gonna look streaky it's gotta

take a little bit more effort to apply and that the same concept applies to

foundations and I've seen that throughout a lot of foundations that I

use and my sister uses the same and she uses like two or three shades above me

and on her it looks flawless and on me it looks cakey AF there might be a

slight kind of difference in formulation when it comes to shades because that's

just the way that his pigments reacts differently and as much as a brand tries

to kind of even out things between the shades sometimes it can get a little

kooky and that might be what's happening

another thing is that of course as you know and I'm always disclosing this my

skin is very very complex it's patchy it has acne I am undergoing a lot of acne

treatments so it's gonna be like blotchy and dehydrated

Oh dehydrated and at the same time because it's acne-prone it's gonna be a

little oily so I have that going on for me but still this isn't an astonishingly

bad foundation for my skin type so honestly yes well I do believe some

people might be getting along with that I also believe some reviews might be a

little more exaggerated because it's Rihanna and because she's really cool

I maintained that I still like the shimmer sticks a lot again the colors

are there and I think these would be excellent for summer the glow is still

there even though most of this glow is almost oil so I think I've covered it

all so that's pretty much it don't forget to subscribe to the channel

the foundation and what you think about it because honestly i'll see you in the
