And I've seen the light

I can't help but get excited about

Cheap little grow lights

I got this CFL (compact fluorescent) for just under $3 at Home Depot

It'll probably last about a year

A vendor sent me this LED bulb to try out

But it costs four times as much as the CFL

It is more efficient and should last longer though

Clamp lights like this are handy if you are

Raising chickens or growing plants

I do recommend buying it in a store

Just to make sure you don't get a dented reflector

Day 1

The LED puts out mostly red or blue light

Which plants can convert most easily to energy

The CFL is a white light which makes it easier to inspect and admire plants

I'll have to a video someday on how to put one of these grow buckets together

And I'm going to show you how to make a grow bucket

Just drill a hole in a PVC pipe and

Pop it on the bucket handle

If the hole is too small don't try to force it

Day 4

Right now I've got two seedlings

In each rock wool cube

I just crammed the rock wool cube in a

Milk jug

Covered it in (aluminum) foil like a weirdo

And I have to thin those (plants) out

Just not enough room for both plants

Day 8 I'm starting to get the feeling that the basil under the CFL is

Growing faster than the one under the LED

But it's getting a lot of rippling

On the leaves

And that can be caused by heat stress

Let's do a little experiment

I put the LED fixture right on top of a thermometer for 10 minutes

The temperature only went up by 9 degrees (5 degrees Celcius)

And that's pretty close to the bulb

Let's see how much more heat the CFL puts out

Wow 23 degrees (13 Celcius)

It's like a little heater

I'll just raise the light a little higher

I'm sure that will fix the problem

Day 10

The CFL plant is growing faster

Of course you have got to wonder

How much more electricity does the CFL use?

Let's plug it in to the Kill A Watt EZ (electricity usage meter) and find out

Just over 23 watts

Not bad for something that is supposed to replace a 100 watt incandescent bulb

Whatever that is

The LED just uses a little over 5 (watts) though

I get the feeling I need to

Raise the CFL light

The CFL puts out a more

Which wastes some of it

But also helps get more even coverage

The LED is more directional

So you see a lot more growth right on top of the plant

Day 35 seems like I finally got the distance to canopy right for this CFL

Right when the reservoir is starting to go dry

Even the LED basil grew up into the light and got burned

Well I learned a lot with this grow

unbelievably.. These unbelievably delicious unbelievable ribs. Just look at the

crystallization of this dude. I swear to gosh. On marketing, on artwork

on label I love it, It's clean, crisp I swear to gosh I give them a nine out of

ten on their marketing. The aroma of this is very sweet. Let me help you here.

Aged cayenne pepper, puree chipotle, pepper mash, distilled white vinegar, salt, honey,

sugar, cocoa powder, brown sugar, molasses, and natural flavors witch are extracts

maple, chocolate spices and garlic. This thing is all natural. Not only is gonna be

great for your sporting and fun events but it's great for the family too. It

comes in a spray bottle so it's less, less mess, less waste. Most

importantly too there's two different grips here of sprays for your bottle. All around this

My Cafe in Northern Lights Breeze Style - Duration: 5:38.

hey everyone I'm Ola and today we are going to play My Cafe: Recipes &

stories in this video I'm going to show you how breeze style looks like so let's go!

first of all I would love to reward five best comments from my previous

numbers in the bottom left corner of a game settings so now let's proceed to

the Breeze style. so let's start with the cafe redecoration and have made up how

to prevent customers from strolling around the cafe and left one table just

in front of the entrance and I had to sacrifice my income for several hours

but now the cafe is empty and only bill is sitting there chewing his chocolate

cake so let's start the Breeze style is quite expensive and it's interesting how items

can be placed. this style doesn't have a lot of decorations besides the corrals

and the lighting so I guess the style is quite minimalistic and the wallpaper

with light texture proves it as well as the flooring with small waves that you

can barely see so let's install them. In all, breeze style is similar to marine style

but it's more futuristic as it's located in Northern Lights and it's like you are

in a huge aquarium with corals and glass walls and dominant colors are white

light blue and light yellow which brings us to a thought that with this color

the cafe will look very light just like the breeze wind

we definitely need all windows to make the cafe brighter and even more spacious

so let's place them at a similar distance from one another in this video

I'm going to make our cafe look like an aquarium I will try not to go too

deep and ruin it but I will place all tables by perimeter and the equipment in the

center I know how to place equipment in a way that makes stuff move more faster

and I actually have a tutorial on that in the information window up here but

right now I just want to skip all the functionality and just make the cafe

unusual and beautiful I have decided to skip tables for four and I will place

only tables for two near the cafe walls and the couch will go

in the lower right corner. Co we place the stands in the center, but I will

leave the aisle for the stuff. In all, I'll try to locate it stands so that

they have aisles between them the fridges will perfectly fit into the

upper left corner at the wall that would stand out too much in the center and it

would be inconvenient to reach objects behind them I'm going to make only one

row of bar counters at the chairs a very dark and they contrast with the interior

so they will stand all together and make a kind of line now let's place the

equipment. Tea and coffee machines will be on the Left closer to the fridges and

just across the aisle let's locate the syrups and whipped cream some desserts

are used more than the others like cupcakes, croissants, cheesecakes and

donuts so they will go on the left. Tartlets and raspberry cakes will stay on

the right and the phone will go just in the center in the front row now let's

organise a place for topping shelves. breeze style won't be symmetric in my cafe,

but I will develop from one wall to the other so the menu will fit in the

left corner well the shelves will follow one another

in one row succeeded by the achievement shelves and the TV and I think this spot

will work well for the service table I also need those stands for the coffee

grinder and the tea container but they have stopped working for now and I want

to save diamonds for stylish equipment for several cups which has 70 percent

discount this week up till Tuesday September 26 instead of those stands we

will place ice cream and now we are almost ready to let the customers in the

cafe and we are decorating the tables with centerpieces yeah and let's remove

the table with Bill and now everyone is welcome we don't have a lot of

decorations so let's place as many centerpieces as possible and plus let's

embellish the cafe with vases of corals and there will be accentuating

colors. sconces will also look good if you place them at the wall with the

windows we only need four pieces here and now it looks fine at the same time

the floor lamps look extraneous here with the corals and I think it should be

either/or that's why I won't place them here at

all and I have actually visited the cafe the next day to purchase a stylish

machine for several cups it's on huge discount now

till September 26 and so this is our equipment this is tea and also stylish

hot chocolate so I'll purchase both of them and now let's talk to Fernando and

ask how much tips it brings us and all in all it brings us 98.94% tips.

I have also noticed that maybe a real aquarium would look good here so

let's place it in the center it's Universal style and now we have more

than 100 person tips which is good and as you notice items in the universal

style contribute to your main style and besides the more expensive items you

purchase the more tips you get so as you have seen this Marine futuristic style

is very beautiful and it can be profitable if you purchase a lot of
