WSI Scania R Combi 'Geuens Machinehandel' by Cranes Etc TV - Duration: 5:26.

For this review we are on a different road - we're in the land of the flatbed

truck and trailer. The model comes in the usual WSI style of packaging and it's

factory sealed and when we lift the lid out comes a Scania R6 6 by 2 and there is a

matching combi trailer. It is a limited edition and it's in the colours of

Geuens Machinehandel of Belgium. Once the model is out of the box there is only

one other thing to do, and that's to take off some packaging from the pin on the

towbar of the trailer.

Did you say assembly? I don't think you did

because the only thing that needs to be done is to attach the trailer to the

truck. It's a simple push fit connection and after that everything is hunky-dory,

fine and dandy.

Underneath is a 6x2 chassis so there's just one driven

axle and an interesting thing about this model is there is very little plastic used.

It's a great looking truck, so the model is excellent too and the Scania cab is

beautifully reproduced. On top of the cab there are nice lights and a couple of

Michelin men, and a high point of the model is the excellent finish and

graphics. That also extends to the back of the cab where there's some bad

medical advice. The finish on the flatbed deck is also excellent with a variety of

textures. The side skirts are thin plate metal with many tiny lights fixed. The

trailer is also high-quality, again with a high metal content, and the high

quality of the finish matches the truck. At the rear the lights, number plate and

graphics all look very sharp.

Out on to the test track and the Scania rolls nice and smoothly in a straight line,

and when we pick it up the rear wheels are fixed to their axles and spin

together, and the good news is that the steering has a decent range of movement.

So it looks good when it's posed and you can also let it drive you around the

bend. As you would expect the cab also tilts and that works very nicely on the

model, because it tilts and will stay in a tilted position. Underneath the cab

there's a nice-looking engine. Not to be outdone the trailer has also got

some nice functionality. It's got a fully sprung suspension on each axle and

that's been engineered well, and it works nicely. There were also a couple of

landing legs, one at the front and one at the back, and they are lowered by being

unscrewed, and it's nice that they don't have any visible screw threads. There is

also another feature which is that the front axle can be raised and clipped out

of service so you don't need to wear your tyres out if you don't have a load

to carry. At the front the tow bar is also

adjustable for length so you can pull it out and pin it in a variety of positions.

Now this truck is really a show truck and it's used for taking machines to

tractor pulling shows. Well we don't have any of those to put on but container

locks are supplied with the model and there is 4 for the truck and 4 for the

trailer, so let's not waste the opportunity to load up a couple of

20-foot containers and we'll carefully load them on using the giant hand reach

stacker, and with a couple of containers on board it actually makes quite a nice

display.

This truck model by WSI is certainly beautiful. It is really a show truck

rather than a commercial truck and the high metal content means that it looks

great. If you want a different pose you can put a couple of containers on it

but if you're just looking for a beautiful truck model this one is

excellent.

The whole project came to be after lots of writing and rewriting...

an animated storyboard... A "storyreel"

and dubbed, terribly, by me...

adjustable for length so you can pull it out and pin it in a variety of positions.

Now this truck is really a show truck and it's used for taking machines to

tractor pulling shows. Well we don't have any of those to put on but container

locks are supplied with the model and there is 4 for the truck and 4 for the

trailer, so let's not waste the opportunity to load up a couple of

20-foot containers and we'll carefully load them on using the giant hand reach

stacker, and with a couple of containers on board it actually makes quite a nice

display.

This truck model by WSI is certainly beautiful. It is really a show truck

rather than a commercial truck and the high metal content means that it looks

great. If you want a different pose you can put a couple of containers on it

but if you're just looking for a beautiful truck model this one is

excellent.

National Assembly kicks off 100-day regular session on Friday - Duration: 2:28.

South Korea's National Assembly has raised the curtains for its 100-day regular session

-- the first under the Moon Jae-in adminstration.

A number of key bills will need to be settled there,... but with the ruling party lacking

a majority,... it probably won't be easy.

Kim Min-ji reports.

The National Assembly on Friday kicked off its first regular session since the start

of the Moon Jae-in administration.

Heated debates are expected between rival parties as a number of key bills,... including

the government's budget focused on boosting welfare... are waiting to be deliberated during

the 100-day session.

"Because this is the first regular session under the new government, I ask for a National

Assembly unlike the ones we've seen in the past, a government like we haven't seen before,...

and for lawmakers to live up to the expectations of the people who want a new Republic of Korea.

As Speaker, I strongly urge the Assembly to work with determination to pass all the pending

bills over the next 100 days."

Leaders of the four major parties will each give a speech next week,... which will be

followed by a parliamentary interpellation session and an audit of government agencies.

The ruling Democratic Party of Korea also hopes to take the opportunity to look into

irregularities and corruption under the previous administration,... as well as push ahead with

its reform drive.

It also needs the swift passage of bills necessary for the government to carry out its 100 policy

tasks,... which include more welfare support and improving job market conditions.

The ruling party has urged the opposition to take up bills that they also campaigned

on,... and not to object for the sake of objection.

But cooperation isn't going to come easily -- as the opposition have vowed to take a

more active role in keeping the ruling bloc in check.

They are set to question how the government plans to pay for all the new public sector

jobs it wants to create... as well as welfare policies that come with a hefty price tag.

The opposition parties have also criticized the suspension of construction of new nuclear

plants... and called for an audit into whether the government's decision was appropriate.

(Standup) "As no party holds a majority in the 299-seat

parliament,... it's still an open question whether the political landscape will be an

impediment to President Moon's policy agenda.

So, despite being at loggerheads over many issues,... the ruling party needs to get the

opposition on the same page.

This month I'll talk about photography because I follow the magazine

I-D on Facebook.

And they have post a lot about

photography and especially pastel colors.

I'll show you some pictures so you can understand a little bit more.

One of the things that inspires me to create

are documentaries

around the music groups. I love watching whatever the style

either if it is rock or electronic music

I love watching it. I love watching when people create or when

people are invested in a project or just the stories around a

artistic movement : music or art.

And Arte had

posted for a year ago, a web series a dozen episodes around

French Touch and I watched all this webseries this month

and again it inspired me so much.

This month, in animation there are two clips that caught my attention.

The first is the clip of a group of music called Concorde

And the second clip is also a song

this is a clip that has been done by Regards coupables.

You must surely know Regards Coupables who is well known on instagram

who draw mini illustrations

around love and eroticism.

Speaking of illustration, this month I selected 2 instagram accounts that

have particularly inspired me.

The first is the account @broken_isnt_bad

which is an account only around black and white illustrations.

And the second is the account of an illustrator

based in London.

Before coming to Melbourne I had bought a city guide which is a

guide a little different from the standards you can find.

There are creative people who give their best addresses in the city.

So I've Melbourne

that I reread this week with my roommates

and we realized that there are a lot of super good addresses :

restaurants, bars, but also art shops, museums.

So it's really more based on art and I feel like it's

instagram on one book with all

the beautiful places and locations that are too inspiring.

And besides what it's interesting

with this book is that the cover was made

by illustrators and my Melbourne cover was

made by Ellen Porteus who is definitely one of my favorite illustrators

so I would recommend you to see her work.

And this month I used a lot an app that helps me to stay

productive and to stay focused on my work.

In fact with this application you say how long you want to stay

focused.It can be one hour. So during one hour

you'll leave your phone and during this time there is a tree

that will grow and if you want to go on your phone even if it is just to

unlock it, the tree will die. So it forces you

put your phone somewhere else and it really forces you to

stay focused.

Should I Stay or Should I Go? House Cleaner Confusion - Duration: 4:09.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask A House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question,

and I get to help you find an answer.

Now, today's question comes from Kathy, and she's headed over to Mrs. Randall's house

with a confirmed appointment to clean her house.

When she gets there, Mrs. Randall's car is in the driveway,

and Mrs. Randall is at home asleep.

Kathy wants to know, "Do I stay and clean the house, and just try to be very quiet,

and not run my vacuum until the very last, or do I just leave,

or do I reschedule the appointment?

This is really weird, and this has never happened to me before.

What am I supposed to do?"

All right, well Kathy, you confirmed 24 hours in advance, you do have a confirmed appointment,

Mrs. Randall is expecting you. And so whatever may have happened at the last minute, comes

down to your cancellation policy.

If you charge full price for a last minute cancellation, Mrs. Randall may not have called

you, because she still wants her house cleaned.

But if she's at home sick, that's something else that needs to be taken into consideration.

What do you do in this scenario?

There's only one thing you can do, you're a house cleaner,

and your job is to clean houses.

That's what you're there to do, that's what you're being paid to do.

You're not being paid to read people's minds, you're not being paid to guess what's going

on in Mrs. Randall's life, not your responsibility.

Pick up the phone and call her.

Most people keep their cell phones within reach of their bed,

so they can receive texts or phone calls.

So you can call Mrs. Randall and say,

"Hey, Mrs. Randall, I'm here at your house.

I noticed that your car is in the driveway, and it seems like you're upstairs asleep.

Did you miss your alarm, or are you staying at home today?

Do you want me to just skip your cleaning today?

It will still be a full charge, and I don't have any other rescheduling options.

You'll just have to skip it if you want to sleep through,

but I wanted to give you the courtesy."

Then she has a choice.

She can say, "You know what, I got a hangover, my head hurts really bad,

the vacuum's going to kill me.

Please go away.

That's fine, I'll pay you the money, whatever."

Or she can say, "No, in fact, I'm just catching up on a couple of hours of sleep.

If you want to work downstairs that's fine, the vacuum won't bother me, I have earplugs."

She can convey that information to you, and then she can also let you know,

"Skip the master bedroom and the master bath today, I got it covered," or, "It's not a big deal,"

or, "I want to sleep through."

She's going to give you that information.

It's not your job to second guess, and it's not your job to just randomly go away.

Because if she's expecting you to clean the house, you can still clean all the rest of the house,

and not clean the room that she's in.

Or by the time you get to the room she's in,

she'll be up and about, and she can move to another room while you then do that room.

It might throw you off schedule a little bit, you may have to restructure your pattern of

cleaning her house, but if you let her know that you're there,

she knows you're there on time.

And if you let her know that you're concerned, either way,

you're concerned, you're the concerned house cleaner.

Then she can direct you what to do next.

Don't second guess, and don't take it on yourself just to leave, because you have no idea what's

actually going on in there.

It could be that there's something really weird going on, that maybe she's had a stroke

or something, and so maybe she needs you to call 911.

I mean, you have no idea.

Don't make assumptions, because that's not your job.

Just give her a call and find out, and if she does not answer her phone, if the phone

is on cell phone mode, or it's on ... what is it?

Airplane mode, I would knock on her door.

I would get her attention, and just say, "Hey, what's up?

Just wanted to check in on you and make sure you're okay, because this that you're here

at the house, is really out of the ordinary.

This is not the norm, I just want to make sure you're okay."

Then take your cues from her.

Alrighty, so that's my two cents.

Until we meet again,

leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

ARSENALS French stars failed to convince Thomas Lemar to leave Monaco for the Gunners. Boss Arsene Wenger launched a stunning last ditch £92million bid for the winger in an attempt to replace Alexis Sanchez.

Thomas Lemar scored twice against Holland on international duty.

Thomas Lemar rejected a deadline day move to Arsenal. And with the Ligue 1 champions accepting Arsenals offer, Lemar crushed their hopes of landing his signature because he didnt want to play for a Europa League team.

Talks with Lemar also proved complicated because the player is involved in Frances World Cup Qualifier against Holland. The 21-year-olds decision to turn down Arsenal has had a knock-on effect with Manchester City.

Hanbok and Gyeongbokgung at night - Duration: 2:40.

I am just outside of Anguk Station and I'm going to this hanbok rental shop.

It's called Hanboknam.

Hanboknam is located in the neighborhood of Bukchon,

about a ten minute walk from the front entrance of Gyeongbok Palace.

A basic hanbok, like the one I'm going to rent, is about 20,000 won for 4 hours.

That's about 20 US dollars.

While a fancier, patterned hanbok will cost 40,000 won.

Down here on the ground floor is the cashier and the personal lockers.

But the fun stuff, the hanbok? That's on the second floor.

Hmm, okay.

Maybe not this one.

I should have brought my camera, which is in the locker.

Yes, it's this one: blue, white, and gold. And also this inner skirt right here.

Put it on from the front like an apron,

and then that strap goes around the back,

You can switch it out if you don't like it.
